  1. Was adding that this afternoon we will be hearing a sermon from

  2. Reverend WWJ Van Owen. He already passed and he's now

  3. with the Lord. Long 2013 Palang.

  4. But until now we are still blessed with his preachings.

  5. So before we proceed with our sermon delivery, let us bow to

  6. the Lord in prayer. Blessed Lord, who has caused

  7. Holy Scripture to be written for our learning, Grant that we may

  8. hear, read, learn and inwardly digest them, that through the

  9. comfort of Your Holy Word we may embrace and ever hold fast the

  10. blessed hope of everlasting life which You have given us in our

  11. Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

  12. So you're adding preaching for this afternoon is about the

  13. Lord's Supper. You've been as apunak in Kanina

  14. yung Lord's Day 28. It's about the institution of

  15. the Lord's Supper at it apply Hindi accidente that this

  16. morning we just partake in the Lord's Table.

  17. K Makita Punati New Providence numbering on even Samantha

  18. sermon delivery in an assigned salmon.

  19. So beloved congregation. It was night.

  20. It was night when the Lord bless the bread and the wine.

  21. It was actually the night of his betrayal.

  22. That night he was with all of his disciples.

  23. Pero miniature. Yeah, not before Massimiliano,

  24. institution of the Lord's Supper.

  25. Only the true disciples are there.

  26. Has to go on his way. Patagonian in.

  27. Daphne go in and that night is no ordinary night.

  28. Universal would not be inside. Look 22.

  29. It says there that it is the night of the Passover.

  30. It is the night where the Israelites killed the Passover

  31. lamb, and it's the night of the last legitimate Lord's Supper.

  32. I mean the the last legitimate Passover don't pass over NATO

  33. because in this Passover and in the institution of the Lord's

  34. Supper, we can see the Lamb of God eating the Lamb of the

  35. Passover Peru celebration and pass overnight.

  36. Although it was hosted by Jesus Christ Hindi pussy Jesus Christ

  37. and we are in Lugar Hindi quinella, but actually look 22

  38. earlier that morning in the two Sonny Jesus question that was a

  39. disciple see Peter at Sijan now city that pussy le Dong isang

  40. Latin and we have major and then it will lead them to a place

  41. place sasabihin namanga disciple sample dito yung logarithms and

  42. celebrate the master and a minion Passover and then they

  43. will be led to the upper room. Constant Ponila Gagan opinion.

  44. It was not difficult for Peter and John to find this man that

  45. he'll una una. It's because of the Providence

  46. of God Capital of Nigeria Salem. If they are guided by the

  47. Providence of God Kahitna ilang Li bonta opang najar mahanap.

  48. Plus, it's also not difficult to find that man because it's

  49. unusual for a man during the time of Jesus to carry a jar of

  50. water. Jar of water, it is usually a

  51. task of a woman. Kapu, Matatan Daniel.

  52. Evidence Story of the woman in the world.

  53. India native at Batman Banana Water Jagnath and nothing but

  54. during the time of Jesus give gamitin water jar rapid visa

  55. woman in the world Dubai on Samaritan woman Mehsana the

  56. water jar, but it's unusual for a man to carry a water jar.

  57. My pero nalagyan pusa is skin Nah para container so you can.

  58. But they were able to find that man, and they were able to find

  59. a place at Tangina, Rapini, Peter and John, pioneer paper go

  60. in Paris, a celebration of Passover.

  61. And then later on that night, the disciples Casamassa, Judas.

  62. That's all back to sunny Jesus. See Peter at Sijan not prepare

  63. your place. Tapos may sign Academy Hawking

  64. jar, even the samasama kawala anpa which habini Reverend van

  65. Owen. Perhaps that was a precautionary

  66. measure. Why?

  67. Because the Passover wherein all families are celebrating in

  68. their own homes, now Makasama must be a perfect time for the

  69. Romans to arrest Jesus. Dial me less commotion.

  70. Dial Jesus. Yeah, unnecessarily Passover and

  71. they will not violate the sanctity of that ceremony.

  72. Parallel also Jesus Christ. They will not do that.

  73. Here we can see that God or Jesus will not allow a premature

  74. arrest. Kaya Gumawa Shankara and para I

  75. am Passover meal even see Judas Judas your nan maga Judas kasama

  76. you manga soldiers para arrested in Jesus.

  77. But Jesus won't allow that because he needs time to explain

  78. to his disciples what will happen to him.

  79. He needs time to institute the Lord's Table so that his

  80. disciples will be strengthened and as they are gathered in the

  81. table. Jesus dipped the morsel of bread

  82. to a bitter herbs and he gave it to Judas.

  83. Judas, what you are planning to do, do it now.

  84. And brothers and sisters, it was night when that happened.

  85. But the darkness in the heart of Judas, it's darker than the

  86. night of that time. Kasama babasa punat induna Satan

  87. completely possessed Judas and then Judas left the place and

  88. then he went into the alleys of Jerusalem para Punta.

  89. Later on, if Wakanda, Luna, cities, Christ and then passing

  90. have been attended to, that Satan has completely possessed

  91. Judas. Nagbago, Ichiran, Judas, the

  92. neglect, Judas, Tapas the world see you dancing.

  93. Satan has totally possessed Judas, but no sinabit in

  94. Scripture that Satan has completely possessed Judas, it

  95. means that Satan totally possessed the heart of Judas.

  96. He occupied the heart of Judas to the point that there is no

  97. room for anyone else, even for Jesus.

  98. So there is no room for Jesus in the heart of Judas.

  99. And are you holding dinner or you holling mill neelam

  100. makakasama? Jesus is not in the heart of

  101. Judas because the only thing that occupied the heart of Judas

  102. is the wicked plan of Zeta and then so publicity Judas Atanga

  103. Trematon disciples and then after that I'm strange thing

  104. Nababasa Nathans look 2722 Kanina is that Jesus told his

  105. disciples that he looked forward to this meal that he decided to

  106. have this meal with his disciples and Bachcha IBA

  107. because Jesus fully knew that after that he will die and that

  108. Hindi Lang shamama Tai nang painless death, but he will die

  109. a very cruel and violent death. And then on the cross, Hindi

  110. alpina hamala Ladon, is your physical suffering Napada irony,

  111. Jesus say. But on the cross, the wrath of

  112. God will fall upon him, and he will tell the Father, My God, my

  113. God, why have you forsaken me? Because on that cross, Jesus

  114. will be forsaken by the Father, because He who knew no sin will

  115. become sin on our behalf, and He will be treated like a criminal,

  116. even though He did not do even a single sin.

  117. Accountability. Big suppressor diva these young

  118. thousand believe it is a beginner only schedule you

  119. anymore. You said that penalty lethal

  120. injection and and then last time last meal request.

  121. That is the last meal that they will have the puba better you

  122. Nah. I love Manila coming Mama Mama

  123. afterwards they cannot even eat some of them Magsuka, some of

  124. them will become uneasy, they will not appreciate or lithium

  125. baby because they will die. But here is where we can admire

  126. the character of our Lord, that even though he is faced with the

  127. reality of his suffering, he handled that suffering with

  128. grace at an initial parin, even Salas moment.

  129. Gamboa companion may strengthen your disciples.

  130. Companion may explain Sakanila you fulfillment and shadows you

  131. fulfillment can pass over. I think you Makita Natin

  132. character in grace during the Passover meal.

  133. He saw it with his very own eyes, the the Passover lamb.

  134. It's it's in front of him at alumna.

  135. In a few hours, he will be just like that lamb.

  136. He will be lifeless. He will be dead.

  137. And then, while he was sitting in that table, she thought about

  138. the blood that was poured out in the course of centuries, in the

  139. course of history. Yougunna Mangalam flow every

  140. time the sun celebrate and Passover, knowing that it is His

  141. blood that will be shed later that morning and back it.

  142. Now Jesus Christ is looking forward to this meal.

  143. So while they are eating, Jesus took the bread and he blessed

  144. the bread and he distributed it to the disciples.

  145. Chapati Kappa gumha in tayo kelechi nagpuri Sam pesaba saget

  146. nanam pagaya no pagkatapos Hindi tayo bago tayo kumain Hindi.

  147. But Jesus Christ. He blessed the bread in the

  148. middle of the meal. Then said Andy brother Ed

  149. Bananaman at the start of the meal casino basanet in Kanina

  150. that they were already eating and Jesus get a morsel of bread.

  151. He depicted A bitter herbs at binigay Naki Judas.

  152. So it's the middle of the meal. It's not the start of the meal.

  153. So indeed Amandine peppering Sabina and Kalimutan Jesus smoke

  154. Pray that was pray muna tayo Hindi.

  155. Because even in the feeding of the 5000 tighten up our kayotic

  156. nang situation, Jesus did not forget to give thanks to the

  157. Father first. So it's inconceivable for our

  158. Master to forget to pray before he eats.

  159. But this is intentional. Narayana been less young, bred

  160. in the middle of the meal because something new is about

  161. to happen. Something new, yet it is

  162. something old. Dahil you in institute the

  163. cries, young Lord. Supper and dynamic young

  164. elements Ditto. I bread and wine.

  165. Bread in wine in the past over so indeed, and it was a bread in

  166. bread and wine in any other meal.

  167. Indeed, Guyana or disciples and then institute for Lord's

  168. Supper. It's not like that.

  169. And that it is the Passover. So the bread and the wine of the

  170. Passover are the bread and the wine that was blessed by Jesus

  171. in the middle of the meal afternoon.

  172. Ginagawan Jesus done. A Ginagawan Jesus done is that

  173. he is creating a bond, a connection between a practice

  174. that they were practicing for centuries past and that is the

  175. Passover at the Coconut Neon Salord Supper or Salord Stable.

  176. And why is that? Because the Passover will be

  177. fulfilled in His person. And then after this meal, the

  178. people of God will still use the bread and the wine, but not in

  179. the same way anymore that Emma is relates.

  180. When they eat the bread and they and the wine, they look back to

  181. the situation in the past. They were liberated from the

  182. slavery in Egypt, so that is the meaning of the bread and the

  183. wine and the lamb as well. But from now on, after the

  184. institution of the Lord's Supper, they will eat the same

  185. bread and wine, but not to look back to their salvation from the

  186. slavery in Egypt, but from the salvation of mankind from their

  187. sin. Because after that Jesus will

  188. shed His blood for the remission of the sin of mankind.

  189. And then aside from blessing the bread, He also blessed the a

  190. chunk up neon not been lesna in the transition from Old

  191. Testament dispensation to the New Testament dispensation.

  192. And we know what the meaning of that cup is, the cup of the

  193. covenant. It signifies the blood of Jesus

  194. Christ. But a few hours later, Ethan

  195. Blood, Natalie, Mariquita, Nathan coming out from the sweat

  196. glands of Jesus Christ, because during the the prayer in

  197. Getsemani, he will sweat like big droplets of blood.

  198. And then later on that day his blood will flow more profusely

  199. because his skin will be opened by the scourging, by the crown

  200. of torrents, by the nails that will thrust through his hands

  201. and his feet, and then finally by the spear that will trust

  202. through his side. I think Jesus is He is preparing

  203. his disciples for this violent end of his Pelham Bilangan

  204. Mahapatra. He's not only preparing his

  205. disciple from his end or from his death, but he is also

  206. assuring them that his death will not be in vain.

  207. He meaning at all nowhere but that His being that His death

  208. would mean that from now on the elements will make them look

  209. back to the remission of the sin of mankind, because the blood of

  210. Christ will pay for the sin of the world and don't pose a

  211. scenario. Nabina basa Nathan even saw

  212. Heidelberg catechism and explained pulsating denying

  213. institution of the Lord's Supper.

  214. Sound wording includes the Apostle Paul Namibia based

  215. Gospel of Matthew and that is that the sacrifice of Christ

  216. will be for the benefit of many. It will be for the benefit of

  217. many. That's why the people of God,

  218. the Christians, should take heart.

  219. However, in that room, does it look like it's for the benefit

  220. of many having any institution Lord Supper having any explained

  221. Jesus Christ companionship Mamata and what is the

  222. significance the meaning of these things Ellam Basildon Lala

  223. Lala is A and yet unseen as Ibiza matter is that it is for

  224. the benefit of the many. And then later on that night

  225. they they will go to the garden of Getsemani for Jesus to pray

  226. Kenya, Peru after punya. And then later on that the thing

  227. Nagari Susanna and the Corona commotion.

  228. But then after that, lazy lasagna.

  229. And yet the benefit of the Lord's Supper is for the many.

  230. And then Jesus Christ will be brought to the kangaroo court,

  231. the onsa bai nanaas invista delicious at temple, put in the

  232. hold among a trials thinaledha Don saugar sabai dating high

  233. priest. And then there disciples,

  234. Disciples someone. I see Peter but from afar.

  235. Someone Medina Pasha 3 times in front of a little girl and yet

  236. it is for the many. It's for the benefit of the

  237. many. And then finally on the

  238. crucifixion A Makita Lang Natin Dun I couple of disciples, and

  239. then Mary the mother of Christ and a couple of women.

  240. Dahil mahari at And yet this is for the benefit of the many

  241. minsan Hindi Makita yung promises circumstances obliged

  242. nothing even it is a church, nothing.

  243. Karami Duba Marami. Mega Churches Syllabus.

  244. Periform Megachurch Napolitano 35 Long 50 Lang.

  245. Yet we consider ourselves few. Peroneal promised negate Abraham

  246. that he will give Abraham descendants.

  247. That's that are as many as the sands in the Bay in the sea, and

  248. as many as the stars in the sky. We may not see it right now to

  249. let Nung Pinagaralan out in Canada institution of the Lord's

  250. Supper, but again, let us all believe that promise that it is

  251. for the benefit of the many, even though we cannot see it

  252. right now. And then when Jesus bless the

  253. bread and the wine, he told his disciples, Eat this and drink

  254. this in remembrance of me, Parama Alalani Lasik cries.

  255. In other words, Jesus Christ is establishing a memorial.

  256. And this is very common in Old Testament Israel.

  257. Napaki ginagawa ASI God they sang mighty works.

  258. Naglalagay Memorial Isang Bato or Isang object God Sanila.

  259. And it is it's the same thing again, Jesus Christ.

  260. But the memorial that Jesus Christ is trying to establish is

  261. unlike the memorials that the the dictators and the leaders of

  262. this world are establishing. And you might dictate or someone

  263. leader some super powers because of their their pride, they will

  264. ask their servants to make statutes of themselves.

  265. The Gaasa gold saffrons a silver yet Gwaza battle para makilala

  266. silla para Makita young greatness nila.

  267. But then this memorials are not permanent because after the term

  268. of this dictators, another dictator will come and that

  269. dictator will remove or will destroy their memorial only to

  270. be replaced by their own memorial.

  271. So like in Amangani so well. And a dictator.

  272. Casey lagging among dictator. Nabubuhay Memoria on the face of

  273. the earth and even in the memorials of our national

  274. heroes. The pupa you memorial.

  275. Merisel or need. Andres Bonifacio Phonological

  276. University, So Mary Seldon, so monumentally Seldon.

  277. But every time I walk through the campus tapos nakita yung

  278. statue diesel, I don't feel anything, man.

  279. I am not strengthened, I am not nourished unless my patriotic,

  280. nationalistic love, love your sense of nationality.

  281. But As for me, I I don't feel that.

  282. But that is unlike the memorial of Christ, because the memorial

  283. of Christ, even though it's not pumped with its extravagance or

  284. with grandeur. Kaitlyn Ginagamit Nandito I

  285. ordinary bread and wine. When we take that memorial, we

  286. are strengthened, we are nourished diploma, because it is

  287. our bread and which is the food and the drink of our soul.

  288. Hindi Lovato something now title in the course of history, but

  289. it's something that strengthens us spiritually in morial NATO

  290. and purpose is for us to remember Hindi fuba.

  291. But when we say in the Bible to remember, it doesn't only mean

  292. to recall nothing, to recall exercise brain 1000 years ago

  293. Natixis has been approaches across OK, I I can't remember

  294. that that's not what memorial means, that that's not what

  295. remembrance means. But in the Bible, when we say

  296. remembrance, apart from recalling a particular event, it

  297. calls us to a particular action. And what is that action?

  298. That action by friends is rejoicing.

  299. It is rejoicing. That's why, again, just early

  300. this morning, we took the the bread and the wine, the game

  301. partition and Lord's Table. Did we just remind ourselves

  302. that at one point of history Christ died on the cross or

  303. Nutanix Nation rejoicings at Let us examine ourselves.

  304. Are we participating in the Lord's Supper just to

  305. participate in a mechanical ceremony, or do we still

  306. understand the the meaning of this sacrament?

  307. Because if we really understand the meaning of this sacrament,

  308. my brothers and sisters, we do not just recall.

  309. We do not just remember, but we rejoice.

  310. Dahil may meaningful young bread and young wine, and at the

  311. moment when he blessed the bread, and when he gave thanks

  312. for the cup, our Saviour was still standing before the most

  313. bitter episode of his suffering. He was, however, already

  314. convinced of the victory that he would obtain, and the shadows

  315. came to an end in a new era began.

  316. Mainak shifts a history. A new era has begun at the new

  317. indications at and that a new era has begun surpass over

  318. cappuccinos terribly celebrate Puerto de Manga Israelites.

  319. They celebrate it privately, family per family.

  320. So what? Thai Pusila Navsari Nilam and

  321. one family 1 lamb at Kung Yung lamb.

  322. It's too much for one family. The Himalayan your family

  323. pudding masher Angela Wang family parasai Isang lamb.

  324. But the point is they are celebrating the Passover in the

  325. comfort of their private residences.

  326. But the Lord's upraised not like that because the Lord's Table is

  327. not celebrated by individual families, but it is celebrated

  328. by the family and that is the family of God at Makasama

  329. Haddon. And even though having the Lord

  330. stopper happy new month that you begin your, we are not

  331. considered as separate units or separate families.

  332. Yes, the church is composed of different families, but All in

  333. all we are just one family. And when we come to the Lord's

  334. Table, we participate as one body, one family and that's what

  335. makes the difference. That's what makes the

  336. difference. So that is the monument which

  337. Christ has left behind. It is a living monument.

  338. It is the table of communion, of the communion with Him and

  339. through Him, of the communion with one another.

  340. It is the guarantee of the unity with Him and thus the unity with

  341. one another. So, brothers and sisters,

  342. beloved, let us celebrate the Passover.

  343. Let us celebrate the Holy Supper and thus be refreshed as we wait

  344. for the coming of our King. Let us all pray our merciful

  345. God, who is pleased to condescend, to speak to us

  346. through Your Word. Grant us all grace that we may

  347. not be mere hearers of Your Word, but do worse.

  348. Also give us the grace of Your Holy Spirit that we may believe

  349. what has been proclaimed to us. May we bring glory and honour to

  350. Your name in all that we do as You conform us to the image of

  351. Your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, and all of this gracious Father,

  352. we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
