  1. Again good afternoon post adding that this very this vesper

  2. service we will be hearing a sermon delivery from the sermon

  3. written by Doctor Braden Ruben Doctor Ruben Bredehoft Ipin Rich

  4. Donsa Free Reformed Church of Mount Nasura in 2022.

  5. Brothers and sisters, Sunday after Sunday we gather here for

  6. public worship at Lord's Day. Marami details now Hindi

  7. napapansin sapa worship Nathan maraming town gumagawa so make

  8. it pensaba ninja manga ashers nanagi greets finals not in

  9. detail Makita punati magbubuhat nang water dispenser nabuhat

  10. namanga electric fan at. And then there is also our

  11. pianist. See Brother Mo at Moto Violin,

  12. then Agent Elders at the congregants.

  13. You Mata Mata, you put Harappan and even your technical people

  14. nanchang responsibly business. And so every Lord's day maraming

  15. power and they take part nangi but ibang roles.

  16. But besides all that detail, there's something else more

  17. vital than any other, and that is the Word of God.

  18. It is the word of God that is the supreme element of our

  19. worship. It is the most crucial element

  20. of our worship. Whenever God's people gather for

  21. worship, God wants his word to be open.

  22. He wants his word to be explained faithfully by one of

  23. his ministers or his elders, and he wants it to be listened to

  24. carefully by his congregation. So Karina Binasa Ponatno

  25. Heidelberg Catechism, Lord's Day 35.

  26. So when the Catechism explained the second commandment because

  27. that's about the second commandment, there is a strong

  28. emphasis on the word of God have been God wants his people to be

  29. taught by the living preaching of his word and that is in

  30. question and answer number 98. It is the Word that is what we

  31. need, for the Word teaches us about our Lord and our Saviour

  32. Jesus Christ and what He has done for us.

  33. It is the Word that teaches us how to live and it is the Word

  34. that teaches us what God expects from us.

  35. That's why this is the focus of our preaching this afternoon and

  36. this is the focus of the second commandment and it is through

  37. worship. So right now we will listen to

  38. this sermon with the title Through worship requires the

  39. true word. You happen that long ceremony,

  40. point number one. Watch out for false teachers,

  41. Pangalawa. Listen to the truth.

  42. And the Third Point is put the truth into practice.

  43. But before that, let's go to the Lord in prayer.

  44. Father, we thank You for this glorious opportunity to see it

  45. again under the preaching of Your Word.

  46. We pray that You open our ears and You open our eyes and our

  47. hearts so that we may see the beauty of Your teachings.

  48. I pray that You give us attentiveness.

  49. I pray that You give us the heart to receive the preaching,

  50. not as words of men, but as word of God.

  51. And As for me, as I deliver this message, I pray that you give me

  52. a humble heart. May you help me remember that

  53. it's not about me, it's not about my opinion, but it's all

  54. for your glory. So both the deliverer of the

  55. message and those who are hearing your word, may we all be

  56. faithful in delivering it and listening to it.

  57. So help us God and may you, may your name be glorified this

  58. afternoon. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

  59. So let's go to our first point, and that is watch out for false

  60. teachers. In Lord's Day 35, the catechism

  61. warns against a couple of bad practices, some satin done when

  62. it comes to public worship. We mentioned dito, that we

  63. should not resort to idols, so we should not create images, or

  64. we should not create statutes. Statutes, and then we should not

  65. worship them. Dial ansabi pusat in Sausalito.

  66. You shall not make for yourself a carved image and that means we

  67. should not make an image of God in anyway and worship them.

  68. So not even when we are trying to teach our children or we are

  69. trying to instruct the congregation in Hindi pictures.

  70. Marunong at ECP 19 said this is a more effective way of

  71. conveying the truths about God because we are not wiser than

  72. God. The catechism gives us a second

  73. warning tool and this warning is do not worship God in any other

  74. manner than that what he has commanded in his word.

  75. So at the point Galingan Nang doctrines are Reformed theology

  76. about the regulative principle of worship.

  77. Some B sabihin magoo worship in accordance to what God has

  78. taught in his Word and this instruction is a more general

  79. warning and its emphasis is its emphasis is our worship must be

  80. in accordance with the word of God.

  81. Now, some churches still makes use of images in worship.

  82. Kappa is a Roman Catholic Church.

  83. Haha images some of them say say the Hinami into window worship

  84. pero Minsan Mahuli Nathaniel, Ivan and Roman Catholic Church

  85. and you or you don't. And they still pray to those

  86. carved images and statues and in other churches naman Makita

  87. naman natin that they are doing worship in a manner that is

  88. contrary to the word of God. So this is something that we

  89. must also be aware to or we must also be cautious about.

  90. We must be cautious that our worship will not be empty and

  91. ritualistic, but at the same time we must be cautious that

  92. our worship will not be man centered.

  93. But we want to focus on a different warning this afternoon

  94. at your warning NATO in Nabasa Punat Insa Matthew 7.

  95. And the warning is the warning of Jesus about false prophets.

  96. For if true worship requires the true word, then we must be on

  97. guard against the twisting of God's word at unity.

  98. Twisting words my God, are you mangolds prophets now in his

  99. opening words on this topic, the juice will not be shocked or the

  100. audience will not be shocked when Jesus said watch out for

  101. false prophets darling Denaple bago simaudio Nami encounter

  102. namanga false prophets in the Old Testament Napa Haramipan

  103. false prophets Kanilang Lugar. I'm saving up with Owens,

  104. Salitan, Angus. They come to you in sheep's

  105. clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.

  106. That's why this is no surprise for them.

  107. Actually, in Zephaniah 3-4, the Word of God talks about profits

  108. that are arrogant and are treacherous men.

  109. So if you haven't managed to toropo Samantha, Israelites are

  110. at that time. They are false prophets and they

  111. are treacherous, fascinating, treacherous.

  112. They are deceitful men. That's why Jesus says that such

  113. people are still around. So you false prophets in Milan

  114. Puyan existing so Old Testament, but it was existing at the time

  115. of Jesus. That's why Jesus is warning his

  116. people about this wolves in sheep clothing.

  117. When we hear the expression wolves in sheep clothing we

  118. understand it in a fantasy or in a fable way apparently.

  119. Imagine Punati Neumann had drawings among our children's

  120. book Concern me my wolf naked costume Nang sheep.

  121. So you work in sheep clothing. It is it predatory that is

  122. undercover. However, there is probably a

  123. better way to understand this image about the wolf in sheep

  124. clothing in Israel or in the Old Testament Israel prophets of the

  125. Lord of often war a certain kind of clothes and that is a heery

  126. cloak. Kayanga Babalikan Nathan human

  127. attacks about Elijah. I'm Sapudu Elijah, he's wearing

  128. a garment of here and then do my thing.

  129. You will see John the Baptist in the New Testament, which is

  130. actually Elijah in the Old Testament, but but not the

  131. reincarnation, but he is the Elijah that is to come.

  132. So then the baptism is also wearing a garment that is made

  133. out of the skin of camel. So Kalapu Nadin before see

  134. Elijah Lang or Sijaenda Baptist Langsung prophet Nagsusuot Nang

  135. nang balata animal. But actually wearing our fur

  136. clothing or garment of hair is actually very common among

  137. profits to the point that you apple nang cloak nawasa hair or

  138. Zabaleta animal it it almost became like the uniform of the

  139. prophets. That's why it is very, very,

  140. very misleading. It was so recognizable and

  141. outfit like this could lead people astray.

  142. So estimate now isn't lacking may court Nagawa safer or Dawasa

  143. blatant Hayo and that person says that he is speaking the

  144. word of God or he is prophesying about the word of God.

  145. People can be easily led astray. But as Sakarias said, Sequayah

  146. 13 verse 4 put on a proper garments, put on a profits

  147. garment of here in order to deceive, so it will pull your

  148. characteristic Mama false prophet.

  149. They put on a garment of here to deceive other people.

  150. It means that false prophet might be hard to spot the helium

  151. uniform Nila uniform profit and not only that they look

  152. presentable. They uses the right language,

  153. but they might as well be a deceiver.

  154. So let's watch out Christ noon after young Maladi to Simondo

  155. and if they even after the apostles die, many false

  156. prophets will come to toward the word of God.

  157. That's why if we will go to the history of the church.

  158. There are a lot of false prophets and false teachers like

  159. are use Pelagus and Marshawn and many more.

  160. The history of the church is full of false prophets and all

  161. of the confusion that they have caused to the church.

  162. And as we said, this message hit home with the audience in Jesus

  163. time. But the question is, is still?

  164. Is it still relevant in our time?

  165. Well, the answer to that is yes. Hindi po mahirap maghanap nang

  166. false prophets of Filipinas. Actually, we already have our

  167. very own local false Messiah blog about K Apollo Quiboloy

  168. Gravity Nang Success False Preacher is this is a Pinaka

  169. Mayama false teacher and for a moment maling sense of pride can

  170. say an excellent burying health profit today so that excel

  171. sports or not excelsa some business or other things.

  172. But we have our very own false prophets and we have our very

  173. own modern apostles, dito Lang pusa emos meranti Ansari nothing

  174. apostles. So Jesus said that in the last

  175. days Kasabian amiga news about wars, rumours about wars,

  176. persecution, Kasabay punito arise now false prophet and the

  177. anti Christ Canadian warning Putney Jesus now beware of false

  178. prophets. It does not only apply to his

  179. time. It does not only apply in the

  180. Old Testament, but it is also applies to our time.

  181. Then crisis. Beware of those who will harm

  182. you by their teaching. Beware of those who look and act

  183. and sound outwardly acceptable. In other words, we must be

  184. careful of who we listen to. The Word of God, the word of

  185. salvation. The gospel is too important for

  186. us to hear it from any just random sources.

  187. Today there are many who claim to be teachers of the Word of

  188. God, preachers and explainers of God's Word.

  189. We can see them in the Internet. We can see them in YouTube.

  190. Make it an agency as a television.

  191. Make it an latest books articles.

  192. Make it an Magagandang Bangla, smiling face, salika kanilang,

  193. masika namanga libro. They even have their own blogs

  194. and they have their own podcast. So your product among Apollo's

  195. teachers are very, very prominent.

  196. They are very spread out in this day and age so we probably never

  197. had the better access to a huge range of Christian teachers and

  198. preachers. Dials up pogboom nang advent of

  199. the Internet instruments or namanga articles and

  200. instructional materials for the Gospel.

  201. And actually that is not really a bad thing.

  202. That is a good thing. Phone Dalaman and reform faith

  203. through YouTube Hindi naman 100% reform you having the backing

  204. and that is Paul washer. But it led me there after

  205. copying the Paul washer and put John MacArthur and Napunta RC

  206. Sproul unpack boom nang informations Internet.

  207. It's not really a bad thing. I think the nothing nothing that

  208. but disregard human books just because we found them in the

  209. Internet or we found them in Google.

  210. Indeed, false features. However, Jesus reminds us that

  211. we have to test these things. We have to test every spirit.

  212. Kilimanjaro and careful sifting of whatever we hear in the

  213. Internet or in YouTube message. There must be a ring a bell that

  214. will ring in our mind. NASA beans attend it will

  215. message Banato. Is it backed up by the

  216. scriptures or how does it compare to our reformed

  217. confession? So Hindi sangap, nang tanga, so

  218. every sermon, even songs, whatever we take in, we have to

  219. test them. Even the very sermon that I'm

  220. giving to you right now in the new the Robin Braden Hoff

  221. Namanya and lagging change pin No, everything requires testing.

  222. The danger comes when we grow careless about doctrine, when we

  223. we become fuzzy around the edges.

  224. Now, after years of instruction, young acting manga anak not a

  225. undergoing Sunday school, and then later on our classes

  226. Narinig Gillian Heidelberg Catechism.

  227. Sunday in and Sunday out we will develop our knowledge about

  228. theology, but it's not possible that we can forget them.

  229. Dial me tendency. Tyanna Simula Church We are so

  230. excited about learning new about theology.

  231. Pagnatapos Naputi is acting inquiries class at Natapus Napu

  232. acting profession of faith and the gigging lacks satin pagaaral

  233. no word of God, so you're dating knowledge not in the sharp.

  234. It becomes blunted, and the moment we become cold in our

  235. theology, that is the time that we lose our discernment against

  236. false teachers. One thing to look out for about

  237. false teaching is that it often leads to worshipping in a human

  238. centered way. Jesus speaks about noticing the

  239. fruit that comes from false teaching and one of the fruits

  240. is the fruit of worship. So Mikita pun natin kung isang

  241. church I benona isang false teacher in the manner by which

  242. they worship. So if their worship is human

  243. centered, if their worship is focused more not about the glory

  244. and the holiness of God, but its focus on the emotions of the

  245. people, then most often than not that church is a false church

  246. and it is being led by a false teacher.

  247. But not only that, my adding churches nafals because they

  248. focus on emotionalism, their worship is so human centered,

  249. but on the other way around, our worship can become dry, it can

  250. become dead and it become ritualistic.

  251. At Bakit Mangyari Yun, it happens when we became careless

  252. about doctrine. It reflects on the way we

  253. worship. So it doesn't matter if you know

  254. all of the Reformed theologies, just a worship or as a Lord's

  255. day. Well, I think you know when the

  256. Homica or Matulog or Antokin, although I can see who is

  257. struggling, OK. I can see here in France you are

  258. in the battle to stay awake, to stay alive, OK?

  259. Any incidental marine. But if that becomes a habit,

  260. that every Sunday there's a dryness, there's a lack of life,

  261. and what's left here is just boredom.

  262. Even if our theology is correct, there must be something wrong

  263. about our heart. It means that we have grown a

  264. little bit too tired of God, and that is still wrong.

  265. Katulad nung, emotionalism. So these are the kind of bad

  266. fruits, Bad fruits. Nakulangan.

  267. Nothing. Avoid Atma, avoid nothing,

  268. careless, said doctrine. But it is true that preaching of

  269. the Word, that the preaching of the Word encourages through

  270. worship. So if we are going to avoid the

  271. false teachers, what will be our alternative?

  272. What can you say about the true worship of the Lord?

  273. So there's a passage in Hosea, which I think you are familiar

  274. with. And this passage was written at

  275. a time when the Israelites became unfaithful to God.

  276. So they bowed their knees to other idols and they forget

  277. about their covenant with God. And the verse in Josiah says

  278. this. My people are destroyed for lack

  279. of knowledge. My people are destroyed for lack

  280. of knowledge. So the Israelites, they don't

  281. know how to obey God, they don't know their obligations, they

  282. don't know the promises of God. And who among them will know if

  283. they already turn their back against God?

  284. Well, the problem here does not only lie with the leadership by

  285. parting Pudikum Mangatal, because the people themselves,

  286. they forget about God, they forget about the word of God.

  287. But Josiah primarily put the blame on the prophets and the

  288. priest in their time because it is the priest who are commanded

  289. by God to open the Word guide to the people, to explain God's law

  290. to the people so that they will know how to live at Dito pupa

  291. Pasok. You're adding second point.

  292. And our second point is that we should listen to the truth both

  293. then and now. God's people need godly wisdom

  294. and holy instruction. So if the church is destroyed

  295. from a lack of knowledge, imagine you.

  296. Imagine you. The Lamb is a church if the

  297. Church is being fed with the right holy things at imagining

  298. you nalang if any feeds at and through teachings through

  299. theology is something that is sipan but but in the express

  300. nations adding so if people are destroyed with lack of wisdom.

  301. Those people who are fed with the true doctrines of God will

  302. be blessed by far so magiging blessed Paul an acting church if

  303. we will focus on the listening of God's word.

  304. As we said, that's a big emphasis of the second

  305. commandment. The emphasis is that God wants

  306. his people to be taught by the living preaching of his word.

  307. The Word is what the church needs in order to thrive and to

  308. grow and to worship. But that of course will raise a

  309. question about preaching chasing rabbits at in Heidelberg atheism

  310. that God wants his people to be taught by the living preaching

  311. of His Word. Then what do we mean by the

  312. living preaching of His Word? When can we say that the

  313. preaching of God's Word is the living preaching?

  314. Or when we go to Belgium confessions in APU Satin and

  315. Belgium Confession that one of the marks of a true church is

  316. the pure preaching of the gospel.

  317. The question is when is the preaching of the gospel pure?

  318. Now there are a lot of materials and articles that we can dig in

  319. Baramulla, Manati and Magneto. But since we have a very limited

  320. time, we can restrict ourselves a bit to the example that is

  321. given by our Lord in the Sermon on the Mount.

  322. So in Binasa punati kanina sa match seven, that is the sermon

  323. of the amount and we can learn from the example of our Lord and

  324. Saviour Jesus Christ. So our Lord Jesus is also a a

  325. preacher. So terminating if he is a

  326. preacher, then how did he do his task?

  327. I know Martin Sabina and Sati Masari preach Jesus C Jesus une

  328. and somehow that is true. There is a reason why Jesus is

  329. called our cheap teacher and our cheap prophet because no one can

  330. match Jesus. He's our supreme teacher and he

  331. stands above all preachers. However, there is value if we

  332. will only look at how he does preaching at Matututo puta Ayo

  333. the on so on observation attends preaching Jesus.

  334. Sermon on the mount #1 He sees that his sermon is very God

  335. centered. Throughout the ceremony of the

  336. mount, Jesus confronts us with the overwhelming majesty and

  337. holiness and grace of God. These are preaching Jesus in

  338. Abuja Pusat in that we should seek first the Kingdom of God in

  339. all of his righteousness. When Jesus is preaching, lagging

  340. under the onion, holiness, *** young glory, God and your

  341. majesty and God, and that is faithful preaching.

  342. Faithful preaching is God centered.

  343. It's not about us, it's not about our experience, it's not

  344. about our jokes. It's about the holiness of God.

  345. So faithful preaching is God centered.

  346. Second, his sermon was also very scriptural.

  347. So your ceremony Jesus Christ a sermon of the mouth that it is

  348. that in itself is is scriptures already survival Babasahin

  349. punati neon you're preaching the Christ is still based on the Old

  350. Testament, so he does not speak on his own, but Kundi palaging

  351. Shameron biblical basis from the Old Testament.

  352. That's why when Jesus preach, authority feels there.

  353. And there are some preachings, the Parang walang, Thomas added

  354. in Bakit. Because most of the time those

  355. preachings are about the preacher's opinion, the the

  356. preacher's political views, and there is no authority in that.

  357. We only derive our authority when we base our preaching from

  358. the Word of God. And that is how Jesus Christ

  359. does it. He is already the Son of God,

  360. yet when he preached, he preached out of the Old

  361. Testament. Hence, the second thing that we

  362. will learn about this is that faithful preaching is true to

  363. the scriptures. Another one Christ sermon was

  364. very practical capacity. Jesus Christ Susan Young manga

  365. audience, but go with you. There are there is something

  366. that they have to do. There is something that they

  367. have to apply in their lives and that separates lecturer from

  368. preaching not a *** puta in and preaching the parang lecturer in

  369. advancing difference known Kapag lecture.

  370. It's only a transfer of knowledge.

  371. It could be theological, technically doctrinal knowledge.

  372. Nathan monument. But if we will not include

  373. practical applications to that, that's nothing but lecture

  374. action lecture. Usually Ginagawa samosa minari

  375. Ginagawa Samantha school. But whenever we meet during

  376. Lord's Day, what we need is the proclamation of the Word of God

  377. together with the practical application.

  378. Because in deep wedding lumalala clang adding knowledge about

  379. theology, but we don't know how to apply it in our lives.

  380. Nathan Daniel. In one of our Sunday school

  381. sessions, we mention that the wisdom is the application of

  382. knowledge. So if the preaching is about the

  383. transfer of knowledge pero Hindi your knowledge, then there is no

  384. wisdom in there. But if we will follow the

  385. example of Jesus Christ, they know how to relate the message

  386. to their lives because faithful preaching is always practical.

  387. And then again in the sermon of Jesus Christ, we will notice

  388. that Christ doesn't mention himself Abdullah inshallah about

  389. himself. That's why the servant of the

  390. amount. We cannot call it a sermon that

  391. is Christ centered in a technical way.

  392. But there is a reason behind that.

  393. It's because there is no cross yet independent amazing Jesus

  394. will happen ascension. That's why Hindi but himself

  395. during those times. However, we can see there that

  396. he's giving hints about his importance in his preaching in

  397. the Sermon on the Mount. One thing that he mentioned is

  398. that small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to

  399. everlasting life. But then later on Marilyn

  400. Ignatian Sigismund preached that he is the door and then later on

  401. he will say that he is the way, the truth and the life.

  402. So even though Hindi directly in that we preach Jesus about

  403. Sarilini during those times, make it a Barina, then Jesus is

  404. still pertaining to himself. Brandon is that faithful

  405. preaching is always Christ centered.

  406. Faithful preaching is always Christ centered.

  407. So these are just a few of the qualities of Christ sermon

  408. standing as a good model for Christian preachers today and

  409. such kind of preaching kapag, I'm preaching to I God centered.

  410. If it is scriptural, if it is practical and if it is Christ

  411. centered, it will always have an impactful effect on the church.

  412. After the preaching, the Jesus and the reaction of material and

  413. reaction Matao is that they are amazed.

  414. They are amazed by the preaching of Jesus.

  415. Petrol. Listen to the word petrol since

  416. I started. The second point will be about

  417. preaching the word. So now let's go about what does

  418. this mean to those who are sitting in the church?

  419. Can you put the Nakikinig preaching?

  420. Well this means that we all have to listen carefully because what

  421. we are hearing isn't just the ministers well considered

  422. opinion. Are you interested in preaching?

  423. We cannot just tune out Hindi, poti, operating parallax, Scroll

  424. down or Hindi not including channel or hitching post yung

  425. isang podcast when we are listening under the preaching of

  426. God's Word every Sunday. We must listen as if we are not

  427. hearing the opinions of the preachers, but we are listening

  428. to the very words of God. That is the way we should

  429. listen. Think of the way Paul praises

  430. the Thessalonians and by your comment, DePaul, Samantha,

  431. Tessalon, Onions and Sabina. When you receive the Word of

  432. God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word

  433. of men, but as it actually is, the Word of God.

  434. That is what makes the Thessalonians great in the sight

  435. of the Apostle Paul, because when they listen to the

  436. preaching, in the parang, preaching Langdale, but they

  437. listen to it as if they are listening to the very words of

  438. God. Then if we will do this, if we

  439. will preach in the way Jesus preach, and if we will listen in

  440. the way God wants us to listen, then preaching can be even

  441. amazing, be amazing to the people.

  442. Again, every Sunday we can stand the Mace.

  443. Again. He did another Kailangan, my

  444. board or Matulog, every preaching.

  445. But every preaching we can say that this is our Father and this

  446. is our God, that this is what He has done for us in Jesus Christ,

  447. and this is the glorious privilege He gave us, the

  448. privilege of serving Him and living for Him.

  449. Now let's go to our third and last point.

  450. Let us put the truth into practice now.

  451. Whenever we are busy with Sunday worship, there is a danger that

  452. we make a separation or the difference between how we

  453. accepted the word here and how we lived our life.

  454. The next coming week, Mariposa saying pumunta tayo ship service

  455. and everything is doing well. We are presentable tamayo at

  456. IMAD Dress code Pilda or not, alongside Marine Anthemic

  457. Stadium album 1 and then Cape in Lagi Tyagi Amens are preaching

  458. nang atimana preachers. However, if the preaching will

  459. not show in our lives the next week, then it really doesn't

  460. have any effect in us. The Bible says that if you are a

  461. follower of Jesus Christ, your life will change and that means

  462. Maggie ebaying the way we work, Maggie ebaying the way we relax,

  463. the way we deal with our children or the way we deal with

  464. our friends and with our neighbors.

  465. If we are a Christian then we will consider Christ not only as

  466. our Saviour but our Lord as well.

  467. A cappuccino. Consider not Insha as our Lord,

  468. then we will listen to Him about how to live our life better.

  469. And Emmanuel Sabina, we will strive to do them.

  470. So this is the point. Jesus wants to save for us.

  471. At the end of his sermon, he says to the crowd, not everyone

  472. who says to me, Lord, Lord will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but

  473. only those who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

  474. Because everyone can be impressed by God's word.

  475. Everyone can be amazed by God's word, fine.

  476. But we should do better than that.

  477. We should apply the word of God in our lives.

  478. We should put it into practice, and that is how it must be.

  479. Until today, anyone can sit in church every Sunday, hear the

  480. Word, nod their head, and even give a compliment to the

  481. preacher. But that is not the response

  482. that God wants from us. The response that God wants from

  483. us is the application of the Word in our lives.

  484. Jesus says that on the last day He will declare to some of those

  485. who listen to the sermons every Sunday, depart from me.

  486. I never knew you away from me, you workers of iniquity.

  487. And I have read somewhere, and I totally agree that this is one

  488. of the most frightening statements in the Bible.

  489. And why? Because the statement of Jesus

  490. depart from me. I never knew you.

  491. It's not given to the Buddhist. It was not given to the Muslims.

  492. It was not given to the atheist, but it was given to Christians.

  493. It was given to people who called themselves Christians who

  494. sit in the preaching of the Word every Sunday but did not apply

  495. the Word of God in their lives. That is what what?

  496. That's what's making it so frightening because even

  497. Christians can hear those frightening words from the mouth

  498. of our Saviour. Crisis.

  499. Having heard the Word, you have to do the Word, which means

  500. we're not quickly done with the sermon.

  501. Hindi pudding after nothing. Marander.

  502. You 2 are snapping or you 4 are snapping every Sunday at a push.

  503. But we have to apply the Word of God throughout the whole week.

  504. That's why we need to come to the church every Sunday.

  505. But we have to spread the word of God in our lives seven days

  506. of the week. The helicopter, Mahali Mountain

  507. Nanito. We need the Word of God everyday

  508. to remind us about His mercy. We need a word of God everyday

  509. to remind us or to give us a warning against the fatal powers

  510. of temptation against the powers of sin.

  511. And we need the Word of God to keep teaching us what we must do

  512. to bring praise to our God. So Jesus finished his sermon

  513. with this exhortation. Therefore, everyone who hears

  514. these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a

  515. wise man who built his house on the rock.

  516. Like in any other place. Papagawa bahai nothing building.

  517. We must survey the land first. Don't push a Palestine maraming

  518. valleys done doing summer young lupa aiteo.

  519. It is sandy purple getting the winter large no flash floods the

  520. ones. So if the builder of the house

  521. is not careful my adding my Samsung dried up bed of river,

  522. try the better flavour darting Ilugun payroll so too big it has

  523. to be survivable is that the house will have a great full.

  524. And what does that say to us, the people who listen to the

  525. word of God and do not apply the word of God in their lives?

  526. They are like the people who built their house on sand.

  527. Napak dumating yung rushing flood Hindi Tata Brian Tatagal.

  528. But it will fall in great will be its fall Kappa news about

  529. scandals about Christian personalities like leaders among

  530. Christian bands or even preachers or even Magkakilala,

  531. not in a false among a grievous, scandalous gross scenes

  532. Minshakhtar in Duba. But actually these are warnings

  533. to us that these are the people who built themselves on send

  534. silly you mangata on Humhara B congregation.

  535. They preached the word of God, they listen to the word of God

  536. by, but they did not apply it to their lives.

  537. Salaman Bagato mago into public Bago ito maging scandalous Nepal

  538. progress money and privately Hindi my adding Macmillan is a

  539. holy man of God. Tapos is an arrow and he wants

  540. to commit adultery or is an we think I'm gonna isn't grossing.

  541. It doesn't happen that way. Nagsimula Atos small compromise

  542. to the point will go to the church every Sunday.

  543. The paranormal, but actually in his private life he stopped

  544. applying the word of God. I thought the meeting new

  545. malaking temptation, scandalous temptation.

  546. Great will be his fall, and that is the image that that Jesus

  547. wants to show to us. And this is not only through

  548. about the earthly repercussion of our sins, but ultimately it

  549. is true in the judgment of Christ in the second coming of

  550. Christ. Casey done throughout our lives,

  551. we will build our ministries. We will build our lives now.

  552. Parama Gandas on Facebook now then you're my Instagram net and

  553. you my social media accounts. Not in Puru Bible verses or

  554. Antonio manga attendance at conferences or your pictures.

  555. Not in with our friends and loved ones.

  556. Not church they will think and judgment day OK parang sabi

  557. satins is scriptures. If you will listen to the word

  558. of God and you will not apply it to your life.

  559. You are building your house on a sand nakapag dumating you flood,

  560. your house will fall and great will be its fall.

  561. And that is true in the judgment day no matter how good our

  562. public life is. But if in our private life we

  563. are not applying the Word of God in the judgment day, we will be

  564. judged and Christ will tell us. Depart from me.

  565. I never knew you, you workers of iniquity.

  566. So beloved God calls us to take God's word home today and build

  567. on it after this this preaching, how are we going to build on

  568. God's word Kakalimutan lambat into and then we will proceed to

  569. whatever business that we will have Gwyneth Sai after Veneto

  570. and Netflix or or are we going to review the word of God?

  571. Are we going to review it again? Are we going to meditate on it?

  572. Pray about IT company to your place adding Manabu hai.

  573. If that will be our practice magkapatid, then the other thing

  574. that Jesus said about us will be true as well.

  575. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and

  576. beat against that house, yet it did not fall because it had its

  577. foundation on the rock. That's what will happen for

  578. people who know that only listen to the Word of God, read the

  579. Word of God, but also obey the Word of God.

  580. So every Sunday, again, we're getting lesson in how to build

  581. on the rock on our 11 foundation.

  582. So as we hear the Word, let us meditate on it, remember it,

  583. consider it. As we hear the Word, let us put

  584. the word into practice. In this way we will present, we

  585. will present God our Saviour, not just with a day of worship,

  586. but a life of worship pleasing to him.

  587. Amen.
