We're supposed to be overflowing with

just attracted. He just can't help but

just respond to that gratitude. [music]

So, right where you are, just lift your

moment that God showed [music] up in

your life. I want you to remember a

-
everything today, Lord.
-
Have your [music] way in our life in
-
Jesus name. Amen. You may be seated.
-
What a sweet, sweet presence this
-
morning. Amen.
-
As we transition into prophetic
-
ministry, I I greatly encourage you as
-
as we release prophetic words, if you
-
got faith for it, just grab it. If God
-
will do something for somebody, can do
-
it for you as well. And all the words
-
are recorded. So you can um always reach
-
out to the church office and they can
-
send you out a copy uh via email.
-
There's um young lady I think you have
-
it's like a white sweater with hearts on
-
it right here. and uh by the aisle as we
-
were doing worship I keep seeing this
-
vision of the woman of the issue of
-
blood and and there a story in the Bible
-
where this woman was suffering for this
-
s this sickness this chronic sickness
-
for 12 years and and she tried
-
everything that she could and she could
-
not get healed but that moment the Bible
-
says she pushed through the multitudes
-
and um and and touched the the edge of
-
the garment of Jesus and she was healed
-
but what is interesting about that story
-
is that there were many people touching
-
Jesus at that moment but she touched him
-
differently. There was this combination
-
of faith and expectation that merged
-
with the power and virtue of Jesus and
-
it was one of the first times that
-
actually Jesus did not have to lay hands
-
or do anything is she she draw that
-
virtue out of him and he stopped
-
everything and he said you know like who
-
touched me this is something different
-
took place today this woman was charged
-
with such radical faith such violent
-
faith and that's what I feel the lord is
-
saying over you this morning I hear the
-
lord saying your radical flamboyant and
-
faith have broken something from the
-
heavens. It's almost like you have
-
forced supernatural power from heaven
-
over you and I see it expanding over
-
your family over your whole life because
-
it seems I see in the last three to four
-
months it's been like a attack in every
-
area. It's almost like family and then
-
your your your finances and then health
-
and then all these things like one thing
-
after another and and but you have been
-
pushing through and you're st you stood
-
your ground during this season and the
-
father is so proud of you and he said I
-
know you look weak sometimes and you
-
feel weak sometimes but you're so strong
-
in the spirit and you stood your ground
-
and your faith have forced radic this
-
virtue from heaven to come in into every
-
area of your life. So, I want to pray
-
over you because I believe starting this
-
morning, you're going to start seeing a
-
domino effect of breakthrough and
-
healing and supernatural power being
-
released over your life. Amen. So,
-
Father, we pray over this young lady
-
right now. Let it be done as you have
-
said. We come in agreement right now
-
from virtue of heaven, supernatural
-
power of heaven. We command right now,
-
we speak to your finances, we speak to
-
your health, we speak to your family, we
-
speak to every area of your life in
-
Jesus' name. And I declare supernatural
-
tangible breakthrough that you will see
-
the supernatural power of God in such a
-
way that it will bring healing even to
-
any any orphan mindsets, any area of
-
abandonment. The Lord says, "I'm healing
-
even the areas of abandonment and
-
rejection and betrayal that hurt you
-
deeply. For men fail you, but I will
-
never leave you nor forsake you. I will
-
always be with you. And out of this
-
season, you will come out with your
-
identity as a daughter. The Bible says
-
he called her daughter. And and before
-
we knew it as a woman with the issue of
-
blood, we knew her by her issues. Now we
-
know her by her true identity in God, as
-
a daughter of God. So, Father, we
-
declare she's coming out of this season
-
as gold purified by fire with such a
-
strong and healed identity in you that
-
she will be unstoppable, unbreakable,
-
unshakable in this season. We bless her
-
in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Amen. Amen.
-
That was um another young lady. As a
-
matter of fact, all the way uh almost
-
towards the center. It seems like a
-
almost like a dark blue shirt like a
-
sweater. It may be a north face. I can
-
read for her. I'm 43 now, so I'm losing
-
my [laughter] ability to see that far.
-
Awesome. This is what I see in the
-
spirit. You can you can stand if you
-
would like because we want to pray for
-
you this morning. As as as we were doing
-
worship, there was such it was almost
-
like this this tornado of heaven moving
-
all over you and and reshaping. But you
-
know, the Bible says that he gave
-
Jeremiah authority to uproot and to
-
demolish and to destroy. Uh but he also
-
gave Jeremiah the authority to plant and
-
to build. And I feel you have been in
-
that season of like uprooting and
-
destroying and demolishing. And the Lord
-
is saying it's not a bad season at all.
-
It's there's some things I have to
-
demolish. There's some things I have to
-
allow to destroy. I'm not saying
-
everything that is taking place right
-
now is the will of God. But I'm saying
-
God will use it. And the Lord says I'm
-
hitting a reset over your life because
-
I'm starting something new. I'm starting
-
a new foundation. And you have done well
-
in choosing to pursue me and pursuing my
-
kingdom. But what I want to do in this
-
season is to reveal to you kingdom
-
principles because I'm going to give you
-
some illogical strategies in this season
-
that you're going to say this is not
-
logical. This is and you're very smart.
-
You're very logical. You're very
-
hardworking. But the Lord is saying it's
-
going to be different. You're going to
-
gauge war in a different way. I'm going
-
to give you divine strategies and you're
-
going to see my supernatural power like
-
never before. But do not be afraid about
-
what is being uprooted, what is being
-
demolished, because the Lord says, "Your
-
season is coming to plant and to build,
-
but I could not build in a faulty
-
foundation." There's things I remove,
-
says the Lord. There's things I block
-
for you. There's things I delay for you.
-
But there's coming a season that I will
-
open the gates because I will not deny
-
any good thing to come from you because
-
I'm a good father and I will not
-
withhold any good thing from you.
-
release your praise in this season and
-
ask the Lord for supernatural str I feel
-
even in finances God is going to give
-
you supernatural strategies I feel even
-
like crazy offerings or something I I
-
just feel something needs to break over
-
your finances in the spirit and it's
-
going to be illogical and and and you
-
may not be able to tell a lot of people
-
because they're going to say you're
-
crazy but as you do that I feel it's
-
like the widow the Bible says the widow
-
did something crazy she gave the little
-
bit of she have she gave to the prophet
-
and as a result then later on we saw
-
supernatural provision that is what
-
you're walking on. The Bible says that
-
there was so much provision in that
-
miracle that she paid off her debtors
-
and she was able to live on that and
-
that's what I feel you're walking on. So
-
we're going to declare that father in
-
Jesus' name we command right now
-
strategies that will confine the wise
-
supernatural wisdom knowledge and
-
understanding over your daughter. And we
-
declare the season of pain and lack and
-
hurt stops now in Jesus' name. And today
-
she start walking in a supernatural
-
season which she will see your power and
-
your salvation like never before. For
-
the Lord says you're so loved and you're
-
covering. You are not alone. And we're
-
going to get through this together. In
-
Jesus name I pray. Amen. And amen.
-
Heat.

-
Hello, North Palm.
-
I think some of you are still recovering
-
from turkey.
-
So look at a neighbor and say, "Let's be
-
wide awake. It's nice to see you.
-
Come on."
-
So on Sunday, December 14th, that's not
-
many weeks away. Can you believe it?
-
This year will be ending very soon, but
-
we will have our very special Christmas
-
presentation. And the name of it is
-
Enthrone him. And I really believe
-
that's prophetic because there are going
-
to be moments that we will decide who
-
sits on the throne of our lives. And the
-
Lord is wanting us to always hear that.
-
Enthrone him. Enthrone him. And we have
-
some tickets. You do not have a to have
-
a ticket to be present, but these are to
-
be invites for you to take to family and
-
friends and neighbors, co-workers, and
-
invite them. Also, we'll have it at both
-
services, 9 and 11:30. So, they're at
-
the information desk. Please pick some
-
of these up because it's very important
-
because we are sending a message, a
-
prophetic message. Enthrone him.
-
enthrone him. Those that will be
-
successful in this time are right now
-
enthroning the Lord above everything
-
else in their life. And I just want to
-
take a moment to release this word that
-
the Lord's really been stirring in me.
-
And it's at this time that we have to
-
know that we're spirit beings. And so we
-
have stepped into a very spiritual
-
moment. It's always we're always spirit
-
beings. But we have got to understand
-
the prophetic word of the Lord is not
-
just hovering but it is now taking
-
occupation.
-
And so as the Lord takes occupation,
-
those of us that are prophetic, families
-
that are prophetic, you may be feeling
-
some stirring even in your sleep, you
-
may be feeling some resistance, but it's
-
a good thing because you are
-
understanding what's moving in the
-
spirit world. How many of you have just
-
been um really receiving some opposition
-
even in your sleep? You've been feeling
-
something. You know something's moving.
-
Your mind doesn't understand it, but
-
your spirit does. If that's you, will
-
you just stand to your feet?
-
So, just raise your hands to the Lord.
-
Lord, I bless these people that you are
-
marking as prophetic markers in the
-
spirit, even entire families in the name
-
of Jesus, Lord. And I ask that you will
-
begin to give them a higher level of
-
discernment
-
that they will be able to see what you
-
are wanting them to see. To step into
-
prophetic intercession, to step into
-
warfare, to be able to step into moments
-
where they know they are anchoring for
-
their family, they're anchoring for
-
their community. They're anchoring for
-
their city. They're anchoring for their
-
state. They're anchoring for their
-
country the very thing that it is your
-
will to occur. And Lord, in the name of
-
Jesus, we say yes. Let us have eyes to
-
see and ears to hear. Lord, we are at
-
peace. We are not in turmoil. And I just
-
bind turmoil right now in the name of
-
Jesus. I just bind that thing that wants
-
to come against you to try to make you
-
afraid or to try to rob from you. Every
-
robbing spirit is bound in the name of
-
Jesus. Every robbing spirit is bound in
-
the name of Jesus. And we release
-
supernatural peace in the name of Jesus.
-
Listen, all of you that are standing and
-
those also are seated because we're all
-
able to capture this. But you're marked.
-
You're marked to see and you're marked
-
to hear. Do not take this lightly. Do
-
not just roll over. But Lord, say yes.
-
Just like it was that when he said,
-
"Well, maybe just say,"Lord, I'm
-
listening. Lord, I'm listening." Begin
-
to listen. You are going to be on
-
assignment over the next six weeks like
-
you've never seen before. Some of you
-
are going to be getting up and you're
-
going to just be praying in the spirit
-
for hours. Some of you are going to know
-
words to declare. Some of you are going
-
to be told to make phone calls. Some of
-
you will be told to make visits. There
-
are things moving now like never before.
-
And we've been receiving these words
-
from the prophets. Don't wait to
-
January. Begin to consecrate yourself
-
right now. Begin to t in this time of
-
December. Find days to fast and to pray
-
and to get alone because the Lord the
-
greatest moment is before us in Jesus
-
name. Amen. And amen. Thank you.
-
[applause]
-
Want to thank all of you that took all
-
of the angels off our angel tree. Make
-
sure that you're bringing those in. We
-
want to see these children blessed in
-
Jesus' name. Going to ask our ushers if
-
you'll come forward. Also, while they're
-
coming, I want you to pray for all of
-
our families that are traveling today.
-
And I've gotten several messages that
-
people's flights have been cancelled and
-
they're sitting in different places and
-
they need to get back. just that the
-
Lord opens up the doors. So, traveling
-
mercies, open doors in Jesus' name.
-
Lord, we just thank you for an
-
opportunity
-
to be stewards
-
of kingdom assignments.
-
We thank you, Lord, that you have
-
brought us together for such a time as
-
this. And Lord, I ask that you will
-
begin to show us even in greater measure
-
how to be generous.
-
Generous with our time, generous with
-
our talents, generous with our finances,
-
generous generous with our provision.
-
Lord, everything, all of our
-
possessions, everything's yours, Lord.
-
And Lord, show us how to maximize
-
effectiveness that we are not
-
disconnected from the body because you
-
will only work through the body. Lord,
-
you do not work with these different
-
limbs that are just on their own. But
-
Lord, as you're bringing us together and
-
you're the head, we ask that you will
-
give us great wisdom on how to steward
-
well in Jesus' name. Amen. You may
-
receive the tithe and offering.
-
And please welcome Apostle Mark Estus
-
with the word.
-
>> Good morning, North Palm.
-
So good to see you this morning. Hope
-
you had a wonderful, wonderful
-
Thanksgiving holiday. It was just a a
-
fabulous time for our family. And uh you
-
know, every year I wonder can it get any
-
better than this? And each year it does.
-
It seems to just get better and better.
-
I want to talk to you this morning
-
though about um a passage of scripture
-
that really gripped me. And I believe
-
it's a word for you and a word for
-
today. It's from John chapter 1.
John 1 chapter mention
-
It's called a man sent from God. A man
-
sent from God. Would you take a moment
-
and just lift your hands with me? Come
-
on everybody just lift your hands. Pray
-
this prayer with me out loud. Holy
-
Spirit, open my ears that I can hear
-
what you have to say. Open my heart.
-
Make it receptive. I give you permission
-
to move deep in my life to form my heart
-
to form my character. Jesus, have your
-
way in me today. Amen. Let me give you
-
just a little background here. We're
-
going to look at John chapter 1
John 1 chapter mention
-
primarily and and focus on the areas
-
that really deal with John himself as a
-
person. John 1 6-8 and then John uh
-
19-34.
-
But as a as a little background, there
-
was an expectation at this time for
-
deliverance.
-
You see, during the first century,
-
Israel lived under Roman rule. They were
-
occupied by the Romans. And there was
-
this expectation that Messiah would soon
-
come. And and the various groups of
-
Israel, the Pharisees, the Essins, the
-
Zealots, they longed for a deliverer.
-
But their focus was on a deliver. a
-
deliverer that would deliver them
-
politically, that would establish a
-
government, or a deliverer that would
-
deliver them militarily, that he would
-
come and and put down the armies and
-
really bring Israel back into that
-
golden age that they experienced with
-
David and with Solomon. But at this
-
time, there was a great sense of
-
silence.
-
There was a prophetic silence from
-
Malachi to this point. There were 400
-
years that they had been without a
-
recognized prophet. And then here in
-
John chapter 1, there there's this this
John 1 chapter mention
-
this man, this crazy looking man that
-
appears in the wilderness and he breaks
-
the silence
-
and then all these crowds, multitudes
-
began to flock to him there in the
-
wilderness. And John was baptizing
-
because baptism was a a symbol. Baptism
-
by the Jews was by immersion and it was
-
common.
-
But John's baptism was a baptism of
-
repentance for all of Israel. And his
-
baptism was radically prophetic. And it
-
symbolized that God was preparing the
-
nation for an intimate or an immediate
-
intervention that there was intervention
-
that was soon coming. And John's baptism
-
was prophetically preparing that. Now,
-
when the priest and the scribes and the
-
Pharisees heard about all these
-
multitudes coming to John out in the
-
wilderness, they sent a delegation. They
-
sent a priestly delegation out there and
-
and they came to check John out because
-
prophetic voices had political
-
implications.
-
Prophetic voices had political
-
implications. And anyone who claimed to
-
be Messiah, anyone who claimed to be
-
Elijah stood as a threat to Rome, the
-
government. And they stood as a threat
-
to the Sanhedrin, the religious power
-
structure of the time. And so the
-
Pharisees and the Sadducees and and the
-
all the different sects, they wanted to
-
guard orthodoxy because Deuteronomy 23
-
gave them that charge that that you if
-
you if someone is is not in the faith,
-
then they're to be dealt with in a very
-
harsh way because they didn't want to
-
lose their foothold of power. So
-
throughout scripture,
-
God has this pattern of raising up
-
ordinary people to fulfill
-
extraordinary
-
assignments.
-
Ordinary natural people are used in a
-
supernatural
-
way. Moses was tending sheep when he
-
heard the call of God. Gideon was
-
literally hiding from the enemy when an
-
angel found him and called him. David
-
was delivering bread
-
when he was positioned
-
for the greatest conquest that would
-
lead him to the throne. Esther was an
-
exile. She was an orphan, a slave in a
-
foreign country before she became the
-
queen that was used by God to protect
-
her people and to reveal God to her
-
people. And so John the Baptist, he's a
-
man who emerges not from a palace, not
-
from the halls of learning and higher
-
education, not from the Sanhedrin, from
-
the political power structure, but John
-
emerges from the wilderness. And his
-
clothing, his clothing was simple.
-
He was a simple man. He had and he had a
-
strange diet. I mean, wild locust and
-
wild honey. weird and his his location
-
was remote. He didn't come from the
-
greatest part of the nation, but yet
-
heaven stamped him with a divine
-
calling.
-
>> In John 1 verse 6, the word introduces
-
him in one sentence that explains it
-
all. There was a man sent from God whose
-
name was John. Verse 7. This man came
-
for a witness to bear witness of the
-
light that all through him might
-
believe. He was not that light, but he
-
was sent to bear witness of that light.
-
That's it. There was a man sent from
-
God. Not a famous man, not an
-
influential man, not a wealthy man, not
-
a powerful man, just a scent man
-
from God.
-
To be sent by God
-
is the greatest distinction and honor
-
that a human being can possibly carry
-
>> to be sent by God. And today I want to
-
look at and explore three defining marks
-
of a person who is sent by God. A person
-
who is sent from God knows first of all
-
who God is. A person who is sent from
-
God knows who he is.
-
And a person sent from God knows his
-
purpose. He knows who God is. He knows
-
who he is. and he knows his purpose.
-
Let's look at that first one. A man sent
-
from God knows who God is in verse 29
-
through verse 34. I want you to look at
-
this. The next day, John saw Jesus
-
coming toward him and said, "Behold the
-
lamb of God who takes away the sin of
-
the world. This is he of whom I said
-
after me comes a man who is preferred
-
before me for he was before me and I did
-
not know him but that he should be
-
revealed to Israel. Therefore, I came
-
baptizing with water. And John bore
-
witness, saying, I saw the Spirit
-
descending from heaven like a dove, and
-
he remained upon him, and I did not know
-
him, but he he who sent me to baptize
-
with water said to me, "Upon whom you
-
see the Spirit descending and remaining
-
on him, this is he who baptizes with the
-
Holy Spirit." and I have seen and
-
testified that this is the son of God.
-
So you understand that the strength of
-
John's ministry began with the clarity
-
of revelation. He had a revelation from
-
God that Jesus was Messiah. Now if you
-
go back to verse six, it said there was
-
a man sent from God. That word man is
-
the Greek word anthropos and it means a
-
human being. And and this is literally
-
what what God is saying. There is an
-
emphasis that contrasts the human with
-
the divine.
-
There was a man, a human, a normal
-
ordinary human being. And in his
-
contrast with the divine logos, in the
-
beginning was the word, the logos, and
-
the word was with God. And the word was
-
God. The same was in the beginning with
-
God. All things were made by him, that
-
divine logos. AND WITHOUT HIM WAS NOT
-
anything made that was made. And in him
-
was life. AND THAT LIGHT WAS THE LIGHT
-
OF MAN. AND THE LIGHT shined in the
-
darkness, and the darkness comprehended
-
it not. But there was a man who was sent
-
from God, whose name was John.
-
>> [laughter]
-
>> That word sent, that word sent literally
-
means to send out with a commission as
-
an ambassador.
-
And so this implies there is a divine
-
commissioning on John's life. There is a
-
prophetic authority on John's life. And
-
there is an ongoing mission on John's
-
life.
-
You understand that that in the first
-
century that prophets were not
-
self-appointed in the Old Testament. Go
-
further back. Prophets were not
-
selfappointed. If you look at the
-
prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1:5, before
-
I formed you, God said, in the womb I
-
knew you. Before you were born, I
-
sanctified you. I set you apart. That's
-
saying that there's a divine purpose in
-
his life. And then he said, "I ordained
-
you a prophet of the nations or a
-
prophet to rather the nations." Now, if
-
you look over into the the book of Amos,
-
I like Amos. Amos is one of those guys
-
who's just like easily overlooked, but I
-
want you to listen to his divine
-
calling. In Amos 7 verse number 14, Amos
-
answered and said to to Amziah, I was no
-
prophet, nor was I a son of a prophet,
-
but I was a sheepreeder and a tender of
-
a sycamore fruit. I'm a farmer.
-
So, I I was I wasn't born into this this
-
line of of great anointed dynamic super
-
duper whooper whopper Christian
-
preachers. I was just a farmer minding
-
my own business. And then verse 15, then
-
the Lord took me as I followed the
-
flock. There's there's there's this
-
thing about you being faithful in the
-
place that God put you.
-
>> Some of you complaining because you
-
haven't reached a stage yet.
-
>> You need to be faithful in the place
-
that God put you.
-
Then the Lord took me as I followed the
-
flock and the Lord said to me, "Go and
-
prophesy to my people Israel." There's
-
is. It wasn't something he contrived.
-
He's just doing what he's was born to
-
do. But God said, "Wait a minute. I need
-
you to go and prophesy." And if you read
-
on further,
-
that man carried a hard prophetic word.
-
I won't get into it, but just it's you.
-
TV has nothing on the word of God.
-
If you really want something
-
interesting, you don't have to look at
-
the novellas or the soap operas or the
-
dramas on TV. Just get in the word.
-
>> I mean, it's it's good.
-
>> But you see, John knew God's nature.
-
And so he declared three identity titles
-
about Jesus that only revelation of the
-
Holy Spirit could have revealed. He said
-
in verse 29,
-
Jesus is the lamb of God. He saw Jesus
-
coming toward he said behold the lamb of
-
God. Behold the lamb of God. And the
-
Jews understood the symbolism
-
immediately because the lamb represented
-
substitution.
-
Immediately there their mind would go
-
back to Genesis 22 when God told Abraham
-
to offer his son, his only son Isaac
-
upon the altar. And then as Abraham is
-
about to sacrifice his own son, there
-
was a lamb, a ram that was caught in the
-
thicket in the bushes. And that lamb
-
became a substitute for his son.
-
>> They understood that the lamb
-
represented deliverance because in
-
Exodus 12, the institution of the
-
Passover where that perfect lamb was
-
slain and that perfect lamb was cooked
-
and the blood of the lamb was applied to
-
the doorpost and the lentil of their
-
home. AND WHEN THE SPIRIT passed over,
-
IT PASSED OVER THEM BECAUSE IT saw the
-
blood. AND THAT BLOOD, THAT LAMB
-
represented deliverance.
-
>> They understood according to Leviticus
-
16 that it represented atonement,
-
[snorts] the forgiveness, the redemption
-
of sins. And so John identifies JESUS
-
NOT AS A lamb but as the lamb,
-
>> the ultimate final perfect sacrifice.
-
[snorts]
-
>> And John also recognized that Jesus was
-
the eternal one in verse number 30. He
-
said he was before me. Now wait a
-
minute. John's 6 months older than
-
Jesus. But yet he says Jesus was before
-
him. Though Jesus was younger, John
-
testified that there was a preexistence
-
in his nature. That is not just a man.
-
HE IS THE LOGOS. HE IS THE divine word.
-
He is deity. He is Messiah.
-
And then he plainly says this is the son
-
of God. Jesus is the son of God. Verse
-
34. And I have seen and testified that
-
this is the a declar a de a a direct
-
declaration of the divine lordship of
-
Jesus.
-
You see only a man who knows God
-
intimately
-
can identify the son of God accurately.
-
G
-
>> Jesus or rather John knew God's
-
activities. John recognized that
-
prophecy was being fulfilled. John
-
recognized that the kingdom was breaking
-
in. God John recognized that Messiah had
-
actually arrived. That Israel's
-
longawwaited hope was now standing among
-
them.
-
You see, revelation
-
has to preede representation.
-
There are people representing God that
-
have had no personal revelation of God
-
in their lives.
-
Mama called, daddy called, money called,
-
fame called, position called, but not
-
God called.
-
God John could speak for God because he
-
saw God.
-
You know, when I was uh a little boy, my
-
dad pastored a church literally at the
-
foot of the Smoky Mountains. As you come
-
off the mountain and go into Pigeon
-
Forge, as soon as you come off the
-
mountain, there's a little church just
-
off the main highway
-
right there.
-
And and so early in the morning
-
in the Smoky Mountains, often there will
-
be a thick flaw, a fog that that covers
-
everything.
-
and and it's no matter where you look,
-
all you can see is just gray fog.
-
It's interesting. The the mountain
-
never moved.
-
The strength of the mountains, the
-
majesty of the mountains were unchanged,
-
but they were hidden.
-
But then the sun
-
began to rise.
-
And as the light warms the air, the fog
-
slowly begins to lift.
-
And what was invisible
-
becomes visible.
-
What was once hidden becomes clear. What
-
was obstructed
-
stands in undeniable
-
glory.
-
>> The mountains didn't move. The fog
-
moved.
-
>> This is revelation.
-
>> God doesn't change. Our clarity changes
-
when the Holy Spirit LIFTS THE FOG OF
-
FEAR.
-
WHEN HE LIFTS THE FOG OF RELIGION,
-
WHEN HE LIFTS THE FOG OF ASSUMPTION,
-
when he lifts THE FOG OF OUR WOUNDS OR
-
THE FOG OF OUR TRAUMA OR THE FOG OF OUR
-
CONFUSION, THERE IS Jesus and he is
-
STANDING IN FULL MAJESTY. THE LAMB OF
-
GOD, the son of God, the eternal word of
-
God.
-
So a man sent from God is a man who sees
-
God clearly.
-
Number two, a man sent from God knows
-
who he is. In John chapter 1
John 1 chapter mention
-
verse number 19. Now this is the
-
testimony of John. When the Jews sent
-
priests and Levites from Jerusalem to
-
ask him, "Who are you?"
-
He confessed and did not deny, but
-
confessed, "I am not the Christ."
-
And they asked him, "What then? Are you
-
Elijah?" He said, "I am not."
-
"Are you the prophet?" He answered,
-
"No." And [snorts] then they said to
-
him, "Who are you that we may give an
-
answer to those who sent us? What do you
-
say about yourself?" Boy, now that's a
-
loaded question.
-
What do you say about yourself?
-
Here's what John said. He said, "I am
-
the voice of one crying in the
-
wilderness, make straight the way of the
-
Lord."
-
Identity
-
clarity
-
is ministry authority.
-
If you don't know who you are, you don't
-
know the authority that you have.
-
>> So John knew first of all who he was
-
not.
-
The religious leaders came with this
-
loaded question. Who are you? Are you
-
the Christ? And and John says, no,
-
I'm not the Christ. Are you Elijah? No,
-
I'm not Elijah. Are you the prophet? No,
-
I am not the prophet. You see, before
-
God can use a man greatly, he strips
-
away all of the false identity.
-
John refused to be to be named as a
-
title. He refused position. He refused
-
applause. He refused elevation. He
-
refused comparison.
-
He knows exactly who he is not.
-
He knew who he was. He said in verse 23,
-
"I am a voice. I am the voice crying in
-
the wilderness. Prepare the way of the
-
Lord." See, John knew his assignment. He
-
was not the word, but he was the voice
-
that carried the word. He was a voice
-
that was crying in the wilderness. And
-
the wilderness, the wilderness
-
symbolized a divine formation. The
-
wilderness symbolized prophetic clarity.
-
The wilderness symbolized spiritual
-
pruning. There are some things that are
-
dealt with in the wilderness. You see,
-
God shapes his greatest voices in the
-
hidden places.
-
>> Quit trying to self-reveal and let God
-
reveal you.
-
>> [applause]
-
>> He embraced his role. [snorts] John
-
didn't need the spotlight. He didn't
-
need the titles. He didn't need the
-
recognition. Identity will produce
-
stability and humility and confidence.
-
You know, before an orchestra
-
performs,
-
every instrument
-
has to be tuned to a single reference
-
pitch,
-
the A note.
-
And and depending on the type of music
-
that's being played, if it's modern
-
music or old classical music, there are
-
there are variations in that, but it's
-
still the A note. It just may have be at
-
a little bit higher or lower frequency,
-
but without that pitch, the the entire
-
performance will collapse into chaos.
-
John the Baptist was Israel's tuning
-
fork.
-
His message brought alignment.
-
His voice brought clarity.
-
His calling brought preparation.
-
A man or woman sent by God brings
-
harmony to heaven's purposes on earth.
-
That's where we get that that phrase
-
that I know you've heard. He set the
-
tone of the meeting. She set the tone of
-
the performance.
-
Setting the tone. That's what God John
-
was doing. He was setting the tone
-
[clears throat]
-
for Jesus to appear. You see, you you
-
got you got to know who you are. Because
-
a man sent from God does not compete.
-
A man sent from God does not compare.
-
A man sent from God does not need your
-
validation.
-
A man sent from God does not chase
-
titles. And a man sent from God does not
-
crave applause.
-
>> A man sent from God walks confidently in
-
his identity because his identity comes
-
from the one who sent him. [cheering]
-
[snorts]
-
>> And then finally, number three, a man
-
sent from God knows his purpose.
-
In verse 7,
-
the word says that this man came for a
-
witness
-
to bear witness of the light that all
-
through him might believe. The word
-
witness
-
is legal courtroom language and it's
-
used 47 times in the book of John.
-
John's function is not to attract
-
followers, not to build a fan base, but
-
to give legally binding testimony as of
-
the identity of the light, the identity
-
of Messiah. So his purpose was to point
-
people to Jesus that all through him
-
might believe. That's his purpose. His
-
ministry is evangelistic. His words
-
direct Israel toward the Messiah. John
-
lived with a powerful purpose and a
-
prophetic focus.
-
Everything that he did, his preaching,
-
his lifestyle, his boldness was designed
-
to point Israel toward the Christ. In
-
John chapter 1 verse number eight, he
John 1 chapter mention
-
said he was not the light but was sent
-
to bear witness of that light. So John
-
was a reflector of authority. He wasn't
-
the source of the authority.
-
His voice carried weight because heaven
-
placed authority on it.
-
>> John didn't authorize himself.
-
God authorized him. His authority was
-
given from above. It wasn't manufactured
-
through his own devices. You see, John
-
stood in God's authority, not in his own
-
strength.
-
John's purpose was to prepare the way.
-
The word says, "Make straight the way of
-
the Lord." HIS CALLING WAS FOUNDATIONAL.
-
Before the Messiah was revealed, the
-
nation of Israel needed repentance. They
-
needed purification and they needed an
-
expectation that Messiah was coming. And
-
let me tell you something that has not
-
changed today. We need repentance in
-
America, in the world. We need a
-
purification from the things of the
-
world. And we need an expectation that
-
the trumpet of God will sound and the
-
dead will rise and we will be caught up
-
together to be with him forever in the
-
air. We need an expectation that Jesus
-
is coming again.
-
>> You see, preparation is a holy work.
-
>> Some people don't like their job in the
-
kingdom because they're preparing.
-
They're not actually the man.
-
>> THEY'RE PREPARING THE WAY. You know,
-
when you go to an airport, it's easy to
-
admire the pilot.
-
Who doesn't admire the pilot? It's easy
-
to admire the plane. Wow. Look at that
-
big Airbus.
-
Wow. What a what a piece of machinery.
-
But do you know that the aircraft can't
-
take off without the people that work
-
behind the scenes that are overlooked
-
that that that are never noticed? You
-
see, it is the ground crew that fuels
-
the airplane so that it can fly to its
-
destination. It's the unseen ground crew
-
that inspects the plane to make sure
-
that there's no mechanical fault that
-
will cause it to go down. It's the
-
GROUND CREW THAT GUIDES THE PLANE to the
-
runway so it can take off. And it's THE
-
GROUND CREW THAT PREPARES THE RUNWAY
-
THAT THE FLIGHT TAKES OFF FROM.
-
SO JOHN WAS THE SPIRITUAL GROUND CREW
-
FOR JESUS. HIS PURPOSE WAS TO PREPARE
-
THE RUNWAY FOR THE KING OF GLORY.
-
>> And so his purpose was to reveal Jesus.
-
And John's ministry climaxes in one
-
sentence in chapter 1 29. Behold the
-
lamb of God. That's it.
-
Behold the lamb of God.
-
The world didn't need John.
-
The world needed Jesus.
-
>> John's purpose was to make Jesus known,
-
not to make himself known. His purpose
-
was to get out of the way. Some of you
-
can't do a great work for God because
-
you won't get out of the way.
-
>> Get out of the way. JOHN SAID IN JOHN
-
3:30, "HE MUST INCREASE. I must
-
decrease."
-
So greatness in THE KINGDOM IS MEASURED
-
BY SURRENDER.
-
>> Greatness in the kingdom IS MEASURED BY
-
HUMILITY. GREATNESS IN THE KINGDOM IS
-
MEASURED BY OBEDIENCE. Greatness in the
-
kingdom IS MEASURED BY A WILLINGNESS TO
-
FADE INTO THE BACKGROUND SO THAT CHRIST
-
CAN SHINE.
-
>> [applause and cheering]
-
>> SO, how do you become a person who's
-
sent from God? That's that's really the
-
question.
-
John the Baptist models what it looks
-
like to live with a divine assignment.
-
You see, a person sent from God has
-
revelation.
-
He knows who God is. A person sent from
-
God has identity. He knows who he is.
-
and a purpose. A a person sent from God
-
has purpose. He knows why he's here.
-
This is what God's raising up. He is
-
raising up in his people today, not
-
celebrities,
-
not men, but men and women who are sent
-
by God. He's not raising up performers.
-
He's not raising up platform seekers.
-
He's raising up scent ones, people who
-
carry heaven's commission with humility
-
yet with fire. That's what God is
-
raising up. And the challenge to you to
-
consider is this. Are you a man? Are you
-
a woman who has been sent from God?
-
HAVE YOU EMBRACED YOUR IDENTITY?
-
Maybe you're SUPPOSED TO BE ON THE STAGE
-
OR MAYBE YOUR GROUND CREW.
-
>> Whatever it is, Jesus gets the glory.
-
>> Whatever it is, Jesus,
-
what is your calling?
-
The word says we have to make our
-
calling and our lexon sure. We got to
-
know what we're called for. We've got to
-
know our position in Christ. So God,
-
shape us into the people who know you
-
deeply, who walk in identity confidently
-
and who live out our purpose with
-
boldness.
-
>> Paul said, "I am not ashamed of the
-
gospel of Christ,
-
for it is the power of God unto
-
salvation.
-
It is the gospel. It is Jesus.
-
But you know it all starts
-
by your surrender.
-
That's where it starts.
-
When you turn over your life
-
to Jesus,
-
then he can use you.
-
But if you stubbornly, rebelliously keep
-
making your own way, you can never
-
be a man sent from God.
-
You've got to come to a place where you
-
say, "Jesus, all that I am, all that I
-
have, all that I desire, I turn it over
-
to you.
-
I need you to help me. I need you to
-
cleanse me. me. I need you to save me. I
-
am covered in this in this smut of sin
-
and I can't get clean no matter what I
-
do. God, would you please wash me and
-
cleanse me?
-
And when you do that,
-
his blood
-
streams down from Mount Calvary,
-
from that old rugged cross, and he just
-
washes your sin away.
-
He cleanses you when you repent.
-
And that's the key. Repentance.
-
Repentance is changing your mind.
-
Change your mind.
-
Make Jesus Lord of every part of your
-
life.
-
Make Jesus Lord. So if you want to know
-
Jesus as your savior,
-
you want to experience
-
that anointing, that purpose, that
-
identity that only can come from God, it
-
begins right here.
-
If you're not sure if you were to die
-
tonight that you'd go to heaven, I
-
challenge you to pray this prayer with
-
me. Pray it from your heart and believe
-
it when you pray.
-
We're just all going to pray this
-
together out loud. Would you pray it
-
with me? Lord Jesus, I confess my sin.
-
Come into my heart.
-
Cleanse me. Wash me. Redeem me. Purify
-
me. I confess with my mouth and I
-
believe in my heart that God has raised
-
Jesus from the dead. Thank you, Jesus,
-
for anointing me with resurrection
-
power.
-
Amen.
-
Amen. Amen. Give the Lord a hand clap of
-
praise. [applause and cheering]
-
Wow. Will you please stand to your feet?
-
Just bow your heads right where you are.
-
Lord, open our eyes to see
-
that we're not just coming through
-
Sunday after Sunday,
-
marking oursel as
-
Christians
-
without knowledge and without fruit.
-
But Lord, we are Christians that are
-
seeking all the knowledge of who you are
-
and to reflect you and to bear fruit.
-
Fruit that can be seen, fruit that will
-
remain.
-
So Lord, right now
-
we ask that you will just begin to speak
-
to our heart if there's areas of our
-
lives
-
that we've kind of slipped off the path.
-
Because see, one of the ways that Satan
-
comes against the church to make her
-
powerless
-
is to get us to just diminish sin.
-
And I'm going to send out a teaching, a
-
video this week, and it's the difference
-
between the Joshua Church and the Judges
-
Church. The Joshua's church paid a cost
-
and took ground.
-
The judges church did what was right it
-
in its own eyes.
-
And everybody made themselves a king.
-
And right now there's too much mixture
-
in God's church where everybody wants to
-
do what's right in their own eyes and
-
there's no standard being held up.
-
And we have to awaken.
-
We have to awaken because God is not
-
going to p pour out this precious last
-
days anointing
-
into dirty wine skins that has not
-
prepared itself [music] or that we're so
-
selffocused that we've not forgot to die
-
so he can live.
-
And so you and I, I just want us to
-
reenter oursel right now. This is going
-
to be the order of this altar call.
-
We're going to reenter oursel by making
-
a declaration this with this song. Then
-
I'm going to ask our prayer [music]
-
teams to come up and we're going to pray
-
for the sick. We're going to see signs,
-
wonders, and miracles.
-
And then we are going to make a
-
commitment from this day forward that
-
we're going to be living witnesses.
-
Because what does the darkness need?
-
Not a report of the darkness. Not fear
-
of the darkness. What the darkness needs
-
is the light.
-
And I [music] want you to decree right
-
now, I'm the light because the light is
-
inside of me. Jesus is the light and
-
he's inside of me. And I understand that
-
he is guiding me and that I am his
-
representation on earth. But as we
-
center oursel right now, I want us to
-
remember
-
that the blood will never lose its
-
power.
-
Never. Let's center oursel right now.
-
[music] Let's sing this.
-
Oh, the blood
-
that Jesus [music]
-
shed [singing]
-
for me
-
[music]
-
way back on Calary.
-
[singing]
-
The blood
-
that [music] gives me strength from day
-
to day.
-
It will never [music]
-
lose
-
its power. Come on. It reaches ooh cuz
-
it reaches
-
to the highest
-
mountain [singing and music]
-
and it flows to the lowest
-
valley.
-
Oh, the blood
-
that [music] gives me strength.
-
From day
-
to day,
-
it will never
-
lose
-
it power.
-
Oh, it [music] soos
-
my doubt
-
and calms [music]
-
my feet.
-
And [singing]
-
it dries off
-
my tears.
-
Oh, the [music] blood
-
that gives me strength
-
from day
-
to day.
-
It will never
-
lose [music]
-
it power cuz it reaches. It reaches
-
the highest [music]
-
mountain
-
and [singing] it flows
-
to the lowest
-
valley.
-
Oh, [music] the blood
-
that gives me strength. [singing]
-
From day
-
to day,
-
he will [singing] never
-
lose
-
it power. [music and singing]
-
Come on. We thank you, Jesus, that your
-
blood will never lose its power. Amen.
-
Right now, I want you to make a
-
declaration. [music]
-
Lord, I every day when I get up for 10
-
days, I'm going to say [music]
-
the blood will never lose its power. We
-
have to remind oursel because we're in a
-
war. We're in this time where God wants
-
us to step into great victory, [music]
-
but it's going to take great faith. The
-
blood will never lose his power. Will
-
you just begin to say that out loud over
-
and over? Just keep repeating it to
-
yourself. [music] We have to understand
-
it.
-
>> I can't hear you.
-
I can't hear you.
-
[music]
-
>> The blood will never lose its power. I'm
-
going to ask our prayer teams if you'll
-
come over.
-
You'll take your place. If you need
-
prayer, if you're struggling with
-
sickness, infirmity, [music] if
-
something is coming against your life,
-
just to hold you back, to keep you from
-
being free, just go make a your way
-
right over there to where that sign
-
[music] says that the prayer line starts
-
here. the healing line.
-
Going to wait [music] just a moment
-
while you make your way that way.
-
Right now, I'm going to ask all of those
-
that stood up earlier [music] that
-
you're not in the healing line and
-
you've been beginning to feel this
-
turmoil in the spirit realm. I'm going
-
to ask you to come up because you're
-
going to be a living [music] witness to
-
what God's doing. And there's others of
-
you that know that the Lord has been
-
putting on you something. [music] Just
-
press all the way in to the front here
-
so we don't clog up the the lines.
-
And there's more [music] of you that
-
know that the Lord is putting a demand
-
on you. There's something moving inside
-
of you that he is asking you to, as
-
Apostle Mark said, [music] to drop
-
everything else.
-
Titles, the [music] need to be known,
-
wanting to be famous, wanting to be
-
seen,
-
wrestling because you didn't get your
-
way in something.
-
Just all [music] of that, just begin to
-
release it
-
because what he's calling is living
-
witnesses.
-
Living witnesses.
-
So right now, I'm going to ask that you
-
make a personal prayer where you're
-
giving the Lord something [music] that
-
you've been wrestling with, even that
-
you don't like to be inconvenienced by
-
[music] this interruption of your sleep
-
or this this this pull that's being
-
placed on you to [music] realize that
-
prayer, consecration, fasting is so
-
important right now for you. You have to
-
tell him, Lord, I I see this as an
-
honor. There's other things the Lord's
-
asking you to give. Like, I I thought I
-
[music] was going to get that job. I
-
thought I'd be further along in my life
-
than right now. I thought this. I
-
thought this. I thought this. I thought
-
this. I wanted this. I wanted that. Just
-
leave it at the cross.
-
Leave it at the cross. Leave it at the
-
cross. Leave it at the cross. Right now,
-
make that [music] declaration to him.
-
Lord, I'm leaving it at the cross. I am
-
not going to be tossed about by the
-
enemy anymore because my eyes are fixed
-
on you, [music] Jesus. The author, the
-
author of my faith, the finisher of my
-
faith. And right now, I see right now a
-
people running their race all the way to
-
the finish line. I see a people that
-
when they begin to run, the power of God
-
begins to enhance the street, the area
-
around them, and others begin to come
-
into the race. I see others just joining
-
the race. I see others joining the race.
-
Oh, serving him is an honor. Serving him
-
is an honor. Serving him is an honor.
-
[music]
-
There's lift in this place. The Lord is
-
lifting us. [music]
-
When a plane begins to get turbulence,
-
they go higher, higher, higher. You're
-
going higher right now. You're going
-
above the turbulence. You're going
-
higher and higher and higher and higher
-
right now. Oh, above the turbulence
-
[music] above, all this prey, all the
-
enemy's accusations,
-
higher and higher and higher and higher.
-
[music]
-
Yeah. Begin to just pray in the spirit.
-
[music] We're interceding right now in
-
the spirit. We're interceding in the
-
spirit.
-
[music]
-
Portals of heaven are opening [music] up
-
right now in the name of Jesus.
-
[music]
-
Oh, light is beginning to flood through
-
the darkness. Heaviness is [music] being
-
lifted off of you right now in the name
-
of Jesus. All binding spirits, [music]
-
we take and cast you out right now in
-
the name of Jesus. And we looen the
-
power of the living [music] God on your
-
people. We are your people called by
-
your name, [music] anointed by your
-
spirit, filled with your purpose, Lord,
-
[music] in the name of Jesus.
-
[music]
-
as a prophetic act. Just dust off your
-
shoulders
-
all the debris.
-
Everything is leaving because listen,
-
you can decide to [music] crawl your way
-
to the finish line or get that second
-
win and run all the way to the end
-
because we are people filled with the
-
power and the hope of God. And right now
-
we stand [music] here
-
as intercessors
-
for the church in America.
-
Wake up. Wake up.
-
Do your first works over.
-
[music]
-
Return to your first love.
-
Lay aside every sin and weight that has
-
so easily beset you, church of America,
-
and begin to run your race. [music]
-
Get out of the darkness. Get out of
-
apathy.
-
Get out of compromise
-
and become a living witness. Become a
-
living witness. Decree it with your
-
lips. Church of America, become a living
-
witness for Jesus Christ
-
[music] because that's who we are. We're
-
called to be the hope for the hopeless.
-
[music]
-
We're called to display the very glory
-
and the essence of the kingdom of God.
-
We are called to lift Jesus high so that
-
everyone can [music] find him. This is
-
the time and this is the season. Let's
-
be living witnesses.
-
>> In the midst [music] of my doubting,
-
when I find myself fighting to believe,
-
you gifted me with mercy
-
to hope for things unseen.
-
In the midst of [music] my worry,
-
when the weight of my sorrow [singing]
-
held me down, you lifted every burden
-
and turned [music] it all around.
-
I am living with you to the goodness
-
[music]
-
of my heart.
-
When I was running, you [music] were
-
faithful. When I was shaking, you were
-
stable. When I was [music] broken, you
-
restore me. Done and again and again.
-
[music]
-
I have seen it. I have lived it. I
-
[music] have witnessed the goodness of
-
my God. I have seen it. I have lived
-
[music] it. I have witnessed the
-
goodness of my God.
-
>> [music]
-
>> In the midst of my troules,
-
[music] you've been present in every
-
night. You were always beside me.
-
[music] I still can't.
-
In the midst of each season,
-
you [music and singing] surround me and
-
fill me with your you
-
victory. [music]
-
I am a living witness. True. The
-
goodness of my [music] God.
-
[music]
-
Heat. Heat.
-
[music]
-
>> [music]
-
>> I'm seeing [music] I'm living
-
[music]
-
with this
-
[music]
-
>> [music]
-
>> And every [music] promise is given.
-
Cling to what you've spoken.
-
You're faithful [music] to completed.
-
[music] Heat. Heat.
-
[music]
-
Heat. Heat.
-
[music]
-
Heat. Heat.
-
[music]
-
>> [music]
-
>> I was running.
-
[music]
-
Heat. Heat. [music]
-
[music]
-
Heat. Heat. Heat.
-
[music]
-
Yeah.
-
Heat. [music]
-
>> [music]
-
>> Hallelujah.
-
I've seen it. I have witnessed the
-
goodness of the Lord.
-
Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that
-
is within me. Bless his holy name. Bless
-
the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all
-
his benefits.
-
who forgives all
-
my iniquities, who heals all my
-
diseases.
-
Can you bless the Lord?
-
>> Can you bless the Lord? Come on.
-
I want to challenge you this holiday
-
season to live with an awareness of who
-
he is and what he's done for you. I
-
would urge [music] you get the extended
-
notes that are available. Texting that
-
word notes to 7843-755-6209. [music]
-
At the end of the notes, there's a 7-day
-
prayer plan. I would encourage you to
-
really pray through that. Now, I put a
-
demand on your faith and I say in Jesus'
-
name, increase [music] your faith. Grow,
-
grow, grow stronger,
-
stronger in Jesus' [music] name. you. I
-
I call forth the gift of faith to come
-
over you, flow through you, to move
-
through you. That everywhere you go,
-
there's an outbreak of the presence of
-
Jesus. [music]
-
That when you walk into a room, demons
-
start trembling and they have to leave
-
when you take authority over them. That
-
the sick are healed.
-
That miracles and signs and wonders
-
follow you. that people [music] are led
-
to accept Jesus into their heart and
-
life and are radically saved in Jesus'
-
name.
-
Now, lift up your hands. Get ready to
-
grab as much as you can. May the face of
-
the Lord shine upon you. May the glory
-
of the Lord go before you. May he lead
-
you from victory to victory to victory
-
to victory to victory to victory to
-
victory to victory to victory to victory
-
to victory to victory to victory to
-
victory to victory to victory to victory
-
to [music] victory to victory to
-
victory. Do you need victory? From
-
victory to victory to victory to [music]
-
victory to victory to victory to victory
-
to victory to victory to victory to
-
victory to victory to victory to victory
-
victory to victory.
-
[music] May the enemy that comes in you
-
in one direction run from you in seven.
-
I declare in the name of Jesus, you are
-
the head and not the tail. You're the
-
first and not the [music] last. You're
-
blessed when you come in. You're blessed
-
when you go out. You're blessed when you
-
sit down. You're blessed when you get
-
up. The work of your hands are blessed.
-
The steps of your feet are blessed. The
-
thoughts of your mind are blessed. You
-
are blessed [music] to be a blessing.
-
Now go be a blessing to someone in Jesus
-
name.
-
[music]
-
Come on everybody clap with us.
