Pleasing the Lord | Dakota Andekin

Thank you, church. Good morning.

Everybody feeling well this morning?

>> Why don't you look to the person sitting

next to you and say, "God looks good on

you."

>> Come on, look the other way. Say, "God

looks good on you."

>> What a beautiful church. It's such an

honor to be a part of North Palm Church.

And I just want to honor you, Apostle

Mark, Apostle Patricia, for your

hospitality,

your leadership. The last five or six

months of getting to know you and being

a part of this family has been uh quite

a treasure. And I can say for certain I

have learned more in leadership. I have

felt propelled, equipped, and empowered

more in my personal leadership uh in the

last five or six months of being a part

of North Palm than I have in a in a

really long time. Like when when you

have good leadership, uh it causes you

to change. Amen. You you really can't be

a part of North Palm and not grow. Can I

get an amen? Come on. There there's

something about being a part of this

church and this very very special house

that causes you to grow. And that's what

I found as I've been on a a trajectory

of growth and and change and maturing in

God. And so I'm delighted to be here

this morning again. It's an honor and a

blessing. Wouldn't that worship amazing

this morning? Come on. Let's just honor

these worship Levites, these amazing

ones in this house.

I'm going to jump right in this morning.

H about a year and a half ago when my

wife and I moved to Charleston Metro, we

received the invite from the Lord to

come here, I was handed a book uh by

another leader in the community. And the

book really jumped out at me because it

was titled Reviving Charleston. And I I

knew that God had sent me to this city,

to this area, to be a part of revival,

that he had really spoke to Monica and I

uh that we would be going to a place

where there would be a great outpouring

and a great move of God's spirit. And so

when I saw that book, it jumped out at

me and I started to read. I got to a

chapter in that book that talked about

what are some of the hindrances to

revival in Charleston. What were some of

the things stopping or holding back

revival? I got to that chapter and I

came upon some key points in this book

uh that talked about hedonism. Everybody

say hedonism. And it began to talk about

hedonism was a a stopper and a hindrance

to revival in this area. In hedonism

really it means living for pleasure

without moral regard or a person living

in a way that says whatever feels right

to me is what I'll live by. And so in

this book about reviving Charleston, we

begin to see there's something about the

hearts of God's people, the hearts of a

community or a body that would that

would allow themselves to be brought

into a position of of self-pleasure that

would rise above their moral standard in

God. Two nights ago, I was praying uh

and I was seeking the Lord and and about

this this message this morning. And and

as I was sleeping, I began to hear

repetitively in my sleep over and over

and over, hedonism is haunting the holy

city. Hedonism is haunting the holy

city. And there's something about

holiness that God wants to do in

Charleston Metro that he's inviting you

and I into that would say, you know

what? We will not be those who who will

be convinced by the world that we must

partake in self-pleasure, that we must

partake in what the world has to offer.

But you and I on the contrary would

actually be the resistance in the earth.

Somebody say we are the resistance. Come

on say we are the resistance. There's a

pull by the world and the powers of of

darkness that operate in any given

community that try to pull us to to

respond to the culture of the world that

says you need to seek pleasure for you.

Whatever feels right in your heart is

what you do. Whatever seems right to a

man. Huh? That's what the world has to

offer us and say to us. But this

morning, I want to present to you a

message called pleasing the Lord.

Somebody say, "Pleasing the Lord." That

you and I would be part of that

resistance that would say, "Hey, we're

going to defer self-pleasure and we're

going to resist the pleasures of this

world so that we can actually satisfy

ourselves at the table of the Lord."

That you and I would become a people

that say, "You know what? We've

discovered something in God that his

presence satisfies far greater than any

pleasure this world or the cultures of

this world have to offer. His presence

satisfies greater. Come on, North Pond.

That we would be that resistance in the

earth. That that's an example to

humanity that says we DON'T HAVE TO BE

SATISFIED IN WHAT the world gives. We

don't have to be satisfied in the

culture of this age, but we can be

satisfied and delighted in our God.

>> We are called to be that resistance for

humanity. I want to talk a little bit

about pleasing the Lord this morning. uh

to please God is not it not only means

for to be settled for God to be settled

uh in acceptance and approval of you but

it also means for God to find delight

pleasure and joy in your life. That the

way that you live your life brings

pleasure to God. You're not accepted

only. You're not received and approved

only. But something about who you are

actually moves the heart of God. This is

what it means to please God. That he

would find joy and satisfaction with us.

To please him is to meet his standards

and to fulfill his heart.

To meet his standards

and to fulfill his heart. That there's

something about your life that actually

moves God.

What what will it look like for you and

I in this year if we begin to think

about things going on in our life in a

way? How does this please God? What if

every decision, every moment was

followed with this great question mark

of life? How does this please God? How

am I bringing pleasure to God through my

life? taking this perception that our p

uh our primary and supreme occupation in

life is to please God. That's where we

need to be. Not to please our comfort,

not about our preferences,

our opinions,

what what we find comfort in, what we

what we find pleasure in, but to

actually be settled in this thing that

my life is to please God. that I would

be consistently and constantly living in

a place of consideration and

consultation of God. Come on. What a

what WOULD GO ON IN OUR LIFE IF we had

the inner working of consultation and

consideration of God in every decision,

in every moment that we're thinking, how

does this please you, God? I want to

jump into a few uh aspects this morning

that that I think you could take away

with and that you can study on your own

with some scripture about what are some

specific things that would come from our

life that pleases God. What does

scripture teach us uh about pleasing

God? What does scripture uh show to us

and reveal to us about how God is

pleased and about what we might do in

order to please God? Is there anybody

here this morning that would just go on

a journey with me for a few moments and

say, "You know what? I'd like to walk

out of this room this morning more

conscientious, more committed, and more

determined that my life would please

God. That I would leave today thinking,

you know what? THERE'S GOING TO BE A A A

LEVELING up about what's produced from

my life today. That I'm going to leave

this place today determined to change.

THAT THERE'S GOING TO BE A HIGHER

MEASURE o of the intellect of what it

means to please God. THERE'S GOING TO BE

A HIGHER MEASURE OF posture uh going on

in me that says when I leave I'm going

to learn to please God greater today.

First thing that I see in scripture I

want to highlight for you this morning.

This is not an exhaustive list. Amen.

This is a few things that we can see

please God. The first one is that the

Lord is pleased by faith. Hebrews 11:6.

Hebrews 11:6

You all know this, but without

>> it's impossible

to please God. Thank you, Apostle Keith.

You're there with me. Without faith,

it's impossible to please God. See,

faith is the entry point to pleasing

God. No amount of effort can substitute

pleasing God through your faith. Effort

is not enough. Knowledge, come on.

Wisdom will not make uh pleasure or

faith take a seat in God. Your knowledge

and your experience won't promote you

above your faith. There's something

about faith that pleases God. Romans

Romans 14:23

14:23 says, "For anything we do that

does not spring forth from faith is by

definition

sinful."

Bible. That's just Bible, Gabe. I don't

know. That's just go That's just Bible,

brother. It's This tells us something

sobering that good works without faith

does not please God. That religious

activity without faith will not delight

him and bring pleasure to his heart. But

God responds to a people full of faith.

I'm wondering a a bit as I'm reading

this. What does it mean to have faith in

God? What does it mean for to have faith

that pleases God? I'm thinking about a

complete picture of faith. I'm I'm

having this understanding that faith is

belief in Jesus.

It's trust in God's ability and its

adherence to God's way. It's

multifaceted working in us. There's this

multi-dimensional aspect of faith that

says, I believe in who Jesus is. I trust

in God's ability to do exactly what he

says he'll do. And I adhere to God's

ways. This is a complete picture of a

faith that pleases God. And if you have

that full understanding of faith working

in you this morning, I promise you, your

every move is going to begin to excite

God. COME ON. WHO WANTS GOD EXCITED

about their life? WHO WANTS GOD IN YOUR

CORNER PROMOTING YOU, bringing you

favor, speaking life over you, blessing

you, filling your storehouses? Come on.

Giving you resources to fulfill

everything he's called you to do. It's

by faith that we please God. This full

picture of faith. See, God is pleased by

faith because it agrees with his nature.

Faith is us saying God is exactly who he

says he is and God will do exactly what

he says he'll do. It's a perspective of

seeing God rightly. And when you see God

rightly, he is pleased with your life.

Secondly,

I think we have some notes. It might be

on the Bible app as well. You can get

these after.

The Lord is pleased by those who fear

him.

>> The fear of the Lord is what pleases

God.

A sense of awe, a sense of wonder, a

sense of respect and reverence, fear of

God pleases him. Psalm 147:10-11

Psalms 147:10–11

says this, "He does not delight in the

strength of horses. He takes no pleasure

in the legs of a man. The Lord takes

pleasure in those who fear him and those

who hope in his mercy. God's pleasure is

not found in our strength, our skill or

ability, or our self-sufficiency.

God's not pleased by us coming in a

posture of saying, "Look what I can do.

Look what I'm able to do. Look what can

be produced from my life." No, he he's

pleased with a people that say, "With

fear and trembling, I come into the

presence of God. With fear and

trembling, I handle the things of God.

With fear and trembling, I handle my

opportunities. With fear and trembling,

I lead worship. WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING,

I welcome people at the door. With fear

and trembling, I work the altar. With

fear and trembling, I work with the

youth. With fear and trembling, I set

things up." WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING, NOT

WHAT CAN I DO IN MY OWN SUFFICIENCY.

WHAT NOT? WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING, I

GIVE OF MY RESOURCES. I LAY BACK AT THE

FEET OF GOD what he's brought to me.

There's something about fear of God that

pleases him. Come on. I heard John

Breier say it like this. If fear of God

is not being afraid of him, but it's

being terrified to be APART FROM GOD.

FEAR represents a people who say, "WE'RE

IN LOVE WITH THE PRESENCE OF GOD. WE

CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THE PRESENCE OF GOD.

WE CAN'T GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT YOU, GOD.

WHERE WOULD WE GO APART FROM YOUR

PRESENCE?

Fear pleases God. People who don't want

to be away from him. People who are

clinging to God.

There's something about you and I this

morning that ARE GOING TO S sort of uh

release the clutches of the enemy over

this region that has people in bondage

to pleasure and hedonism and selflove

and this sort of this SORT OF THING THAT

SAYS I seek me over others. I seek me

before I console God. We're going to

dismantle that by saying WE FEAR GOD. WE

DON'T WANT TO BE APART FROM HIM. WE WANT

TO PLEASE HIM with everything inside of

us.

It's dependency and reverence

that demonstrate fear for God. What

about this segment here in Psalm 147

where he says it's in those who hope in

his mercy. Those who hope in his mercy,

this means in my frailty, in my

weakness, I don't blindly

let myself off the hook. I don't blindly

think that I live in omission. I live a

posture of confession. I live a POSTURE

OF COMING TO God and saying it's by your

mercy. It's by it's by it's by your

sacrifice that I'm free from sin. It's

by your grace I can live a life

empowered from sin. It's by your mercy.

Think about this. It's not A PEOPLE WHO

SAY I can just sweep everything under

the rug because I have mercy. You know,

it's hoping in mercy with with good

understanding. It's it's not sweeping

things under the rug. It's sweeping

things under the blood. COME ON. IT'S

ABOUT A PEOPLE THAT SAY, "IT'S BY THE

BLOOD THAT I'M FREE. IT'S BY THE BLOOD

THAT I'M LIBERATED. It's because of his

BLOOD THAT I CAN I CAN FALL SEVEN TIMES

and stand again and be righteous in God.

IT'S BY HIS BLOOD. COME ON." AND THAT'S

THE TYPE OF POSTURE THAT WE NEED TO HAVE

IS I AM HERE THIS MORNING BECAUSE OF THE

MERCY OF GOD. YOU AND I GOT HERE THIS

MORNING AT 9:00 a.m. for a worship

service because mercy came and arrested

our life. AND NOW WE CAN SAY THIS IS THE

HOPE OF MY LIFE. I'm pleasing you

because you've given mercy to me to do

so. Not by might

but by his spirit. There's something

about a people who hope and that mercy

who bring themselves saying you know

what fear is staying power from God. How

many times have you wanted to run away?

How many times have you wanted to sort

of slip off into the distance? How many

times have you WANTED TO GIVE UP? THIS

GOD THING'S TOO HARD. This leadership

thing, this accountability thing, it's

too hard. you know, and then and then

something stirs in YOU THAT SAYS, "BUT

GOD RESCUED ME. BUT GOD SAVED ME. BUT

BUT HE'S BEEN FAITHFUL. HE'LL ALWAYS BE

FAITHFUL. HE'S NEVER STOPPED BEING

FAITHFUL." AND SO I'VE GOT TO TRUST HIM

IN THE MOMENT. SOMEBODY SAY, "TRUST him

in the moment."

>> Fear is staying power, friends. And

that's why it pleases God because it

keeps us steadfast in the Lord. Thirdly,

in your notes, the Lord is pleased by

obedience.

>> God is looking for alignment with heaven

over selfappointed activity.

Think about it for a moment.

Your life I and I know that we're all

here. We we're we're being raised up as

leaders, an army for the Lord. Amen.

This is a house of disciplehip. This is

a house of maturity. This is a house of

calling and grace and anointing. And

God's speaking to to us and he's calling

us forth and he he's putting dreams in

our hearts and he's showing us things,

good works that he's laid before the

foundations of the earth for us to

fulfill. But we have to remember that

that that our our posture to go after

God. Our yes is rooted not in

self-appointed activity, but our yes is

rooted in the alignment of heaven that

says I'm obedient to what God asked me

to do. Monica and I have reflected on

the last few years of our life in

ministry and I've said to her, "Honey, I

think like never before, ministry for me

is not about my my OWN SENSE OF CALLING,

BUT IT'S IT'S SIMPLY ABOUT being

obedient to the voice of the Lord."

Apostle Patricia this morning in prayer

was saying, "Not my will, but your will

be done, Father." And there's something

that that THERE'S GOING TO BE A

CHALLENGE IN YOUR OBEDIENCE. There's

going to BE A CHALLENGE. THERE'S GOING

TO BE PRESSING MOMENTS WHERE WHERE YOU

HAVE TO STAND AT THAT THAT MOMENT AND

you say, "Is this going to be about me

or is this going TO BE ABOUT OBEDIENCE

TO THE FATHER? IS THIS GOING TO BE ABOUT

MY MY SELF-APPOINTED positions or is

this going to be ABOUT ALIGNMENT WITH

WHAT HEAVEN WANTS TO DO?" BECAUSE

THERE'S A BIG PICTURE OF WHAT GOD'S

DOING IN the earth RIGHT NOW. AND WE'VE

GOT TO get in UNITY ABOUT THE GREAT

OUTPOURING AND THE GREAT MOVEMENT of God

that is happening in the earth. what

we've been assigned to to align with

heaven.

Obedience pleases God.

>> 1st Samuel 15:22,

"Has the Lord as great delight,"

There's a comparison going on here in

the text. Has the Lord as great delight

in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in

obeying

the voice of the Lord?

has there a great delight? No. No, he he

doesn't. He He He The scripture tells us

that that that THAT BEHOLD TO OBEY is

better than sacrifice. The thing about

burnt offerings and sacrifices, this was

routine serving God for them. They would

they would read this scripture and they

would understand that to be this is what

we do to please God. We give sacrifices.

We give offerings. This is how we please

God. this is how we MINISTER TO GOD. BUT

THEN THERE'S A shift and HE'S SAYING

DON'T DO IT UH THROUGH CHRISTIAN

ROUTINE. DON'T DON'T TRY TO SERVE AND

PLEASE GOD BY WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE IS

DOING. DON'T TRY TO SERVE AND PLEASE GOD

FROM THE EXTERNAL WHAT YOU'VE ALWAYS

KNOWN. BUT PLEASE GOD BY OBEYING HIS

VOICE. Actively listening TO WHAT GOD IS

SAYING. IT'S to listen and obey.

SOMEBODY SAY LISTEN and obey. See, we've

got to get into the secret place with

God SO THAT WE CAN HEAR WHAT GOD'S

SPEAKING, so that we can be in a good

flow of obedience in our life so that

pleasure flows to the throne of God. We

are called to bring pleasure to him.

John 14:21 says this, "He who has my

commandments

loves me." Or is there something in the

middle? He who has my commandments and

keeps them or oys

them loves me. See, we can WE CAN WE CAN

KNOW THE COMMANDMENTS. WE CAN HAVE THEM.

WE CAN KNOW WHAT GOD SAYS. BUT THERE'S

SOMETHING DIFFERENT ABOUT A PERSON WHO

KNOWS WHAT GOD SAYS and a person who

lives what God says. Come on. There's

something erupting in our life in this

room, in this season that says we are

going to begin to obey GOD AT A MUCH

higher level. We're going to become

attentive to the voice OF GOD IN A MUCH

GREATER CAPACITY IN THIS SEASON. GOD'S

SPEAKING LOUDER, SO WE'RE OBEYING

FASTER. COME ON. GOD'S SPEAKING MORE

FREQUENTLY, SO WE'RE MORE CONSISTENT

with our obedience.

Obedience pleases God.

Think about this. Obedience pleases God

when it flows from love and not

obligation.

It's a heart that doesn't just seek to

satisfy demand, but to satisfy and serve

intimacy.

This was illuminated to me over the last

week or so uh through marriage.

Everybody say marriage. When my wife

began to speak to me, can I

I love you. This began to this began to

illuminate to me when I thought about a

picture of marriage that if my wife

wants something from me, she has an

expectation of let's say for instance

how I keep and maintain the house

and if she wants that from me and my

posture IS TO SATISFY demand

then I'm I'm missing a large uh reality

of the love intimate relationship that I

have with her. I IF I MY WIFE doesn't

want to tell me what to do, I'm grown.

Amen and amen in the house. SHE DOESN'T

WANT TO TELL ME WHAT TO DO, but there's

things that she likes and if I'm not in

alignment with the things she likes, she

needs to voice that. Is a marriage

conference, anybody? I don't know. Uh

what I'm saying is I cannot respond to

that request with a sense of satisfying

DEMAND. I MUST RESPOND TO THAT request

with a sense of satisfying intimacy of

of discovering what makes her happy. And

then I want to DO THAT NOT BECAUSE IT

GETS ME OUT OF THE OUT off the couch,

you know, IT GETS ME OUT OF THE THE

DOGHOUSE. I I NOT BECAUSE OF THAT. IT'S

because it's what PLEASES HER. AND AND

WE NEED TO LOOK at these types OF

RESPONSES TO GOD NOT IN A WAY AS I'M

SATISFYING DEMANDS FROM GOD, BUT I'M

SATISFYING A SENSE OF SERVING him with

intimacy to please him. I I'M WONDERING

IF YOU AND I MIGHT GO INTO AN ENDEAVOR

WHERE WE BEGIN TO LIVE LIFE IN A WAY.

NOT THAT I'M JUST CHECKING THE BOXES

WITH GOD. NOT THAT I'M JUST DOING WHAT

WHAT I READ, HEAR, AND THINK GOD WANTS

TO DO, BUT I'M GETTING IN CONNECTION

WITH GOD. AND EVERY ACT OF OBEDIENCE IS

FROM A SENSE OF INTIMACY THAT I'M DOING

THIS BECAUSE I WANT TO PLEASE YOU, GOD.

NOT BECAUSE I WANT TO SATISFY YOUR

DEMAND, BUT BECAUSE I ACTUALLY WANT TO

MOVE YOUR HEART.

>> Obedience pleases God. Lovedriven

obedience will position us for encounter

and not control. Trust me, you would

rather God woo you

>> into submission

>> than test you, try you, and control you

into commit into submission. Amen.

You'd you'd rather the Lord bring you

into a place of great pleasure to who he

is by a love encounter, not control.

Fourthly,

the Lord is pleased by a contrite

spirit.

Isaiah 66:2,

Isaiah 66:2

"But on this one will I look, on whom

who is poor and of a contrite spirit,

who trembles at my word." God's not

scanning the earth for status, for

talent, spiritual resumes. He's first

looking for posture.

He's looking for posture. This phrase,

on this one will I look, it implies

divine attention and favor. God is

actively drawn to a certain kind of

heart posture. God is pleased by

teachable hearts. He's he's pleased and

drawn to repentant people and people who

have reverence and tremble over his

word. What's that mean? Tremble over my

word. It has a sense of urgency to it.

It's when I hear God's word, it's

weighty to me. It matters. It begins to

come up on my sense of priorities. It

begins to take precedence in everything

else. I tremble when God speaks. I

tremble when I read the word of the Lord

and it puts an urgency in me. It puts a

sense of I need to begin to move on

this. It carries weight. It has

influence over me. And so, this type of

heart posture is what pleases God. Psalm

51-17 says, "The sacrifices of God are a

broken spirit and a contrite heart."

These, oh God, you will not despise. A

broken spirit means to shatter

resistance and dismantle pride. That

we're we're allowing ourselves to

deconstruct

resistance

of God in our life. we would we would

actually just begin to yield quicker,

be be more uh obedient, be more

contrite, more broken before God.

Broken, a broken spirit doesn't mean

emotional collapse. It's it's not a

sense of like, man, I'm just I'm broken.

I'll never get it right. I can't get it

right in God. I just keep failing. I

keep missing the mark. No. A broken

spirit is the end of self-ruule. It It's

the end of self-pleasure. This is that

Matthew 16:25 mystery. It's he who

Matthew 16:25

desires to save his life will lose it,

but he who will lose his life for my

sake will find it. This is an exchange

of life with God. Contrite means to be

crushed, broken, reduced to humility.

I thought about this. We we've probably

heard people talk about false humility

verse authentic humility. And how do we

know when we're operating in false

humility verse uh verse actual authentic

humility? And I I uh can only

self-reflect. I can't speak for you.

Amen. Uh I can self-reflect this morning

and think when I withdraw,

I'm probably in some form of false

humility.

There there's something about a

loneliness before God, a loneliness

before leadership, a loneliness that

says, "I'm coming low." Not through a

spirit of discouragement. Because that's

what'll happen. That's how you'll know.

If you if your hum if your humility and

loneliness makes you feel like, "I'll

never make it anymore. I'm giving up on

my calling. I'm giving up on my people.

I'm giving up on God." Then that's not

humility. That's discouragement. And

that's a lie of the enemy. Humility is

this loneliness that's rooted in

submission, not discouragement.

It's not pouty.

Come on. I I know our leaders know about

pouty humility, right? It's not pouty

humility. This is the grown-up church,

right? This is the grown-up church.

Uh the Lord is pleased nextly by trust

in trial. Proverbs 16 and 7 says, "When

a man's ways please the Lord, he makes

even his enemies be at peace with him."

The Lord causes peace to come over your

trial, over your adversity, over your

enemies when your way pleases him. It's

like Job chapter 42.

Job 42 · chapter mention

It's crazy that we use Job as the trial

testimony book and WE SEE AND GOD MADE

THAT BOOK 42 books long. Come on,

somebody. That's a long trial, a long

testing. You get to chapter 42 and God's

like, "I'll accept Job. Give him

everything and more." It's like, "Woo!

Wow, that was a long journey of testing,

a long journey of adversity." But the

Lord is pleased when we have trust in

him through trial and adversity. I can

hear the voice of my mother uttering to

me, "Many are the afflictions of the

righteous, but the Lord delivers them of

them all." I've heard my mom utter to

me, I I was young and now I'm old. Come

on. I've never seen the righteous

forsaken. There's something about about

people who trust God. Who get into

theology of testimony and say, "God

didn't fail Job. Come on. GOD DIDN'T

FAIL DANIEL. GOD DIDN'T FAIL MOSES. GOD

DIDN'T FAIL. GOD NEVER FAILS. HE WON'T

FAIL me in this situation." And I stir

my faith in the face of adversity. And

then the pleasure of the Lord begins to

RISE AND GOD LOOKS OVER MY LIFE and

says, "I accept you. EVERYTHING THAT

I'VE PROMISED YOU is coming back to you

now and more." Somebody say, "And more."

When we trust God in trial, it proclaims

that God is faithful. God is with me and

God is not finished. Trust in trial is

determination that God is enough and I

will not compromise. Lastly,

the Lord is pleased to reward. Hebrews

Hebrews 11:6

11:6,

we must believe that God is and that God

is a rewarder of those who diligently

seek him. Luke 12:32 says, "Do not fear,

Luke 12:32

little flock. It is the father's good

pleasure to give you the kingdom." You

and I are rising up as a resistance in

this hour to say, you know what,

pleasing God is far more extraordinary.

It's it's it's far more beneficial.

It's far more delightful than anything

this world has to offer. I'm going to

leave you with this scripture.

Revelation 4:11.

You are worthy, oh Lord,

to receive glory,

honor,

and power.

For you created

The invite from the Lord this morning is

that you and I would get back to the

simplicity

of my life,

my whole existence

is to please God. And if everything we

do in family and work and community and

in church and ministry flows from that,

we're a superpower.

We cannot be stopped.

We exist

to bring you pleasure. Lord,

if you're here this morning,

and you know that

your life

needs to greater demonstrate

pleasing and pleasure to God and

faithfulness. If you're here this

morning, you know that you need

forgiveness. You're here this morning

and you've never received salvation.

a worship service and giving my life to

Jesus.
