  1. Good morning.

  2. >> I'm turning you all in for farmers. It

  3. seems like

  4. lesson before I start this morning or

  5. the title of my message is um thriving

  6. under the shepherd's care. But before I

  7. start with my message, can we give the

  8. hand to the to the worship team? Aren't

  9. they doing an awesome job all the time?

  10. Amen.

  11. Before I start with my message, let's

  12. pray. Father God, thank you for this

  13. morning. And I thank you for the

  14. privilege to stand on stage. And Holy

  15. Spirit, I pray that you will guide my

  16. words, that you will speak through me,

  17. and that the people's hearts will be

  18. open to receive what you want to say,

  19. Father God. And I ask that in Jesus

  20. name. Amen.

  21. >> Amen.

  22. >> Listen, I I I want to start with sharing

  23. a story in in South Africa many years

  24. back when I started on the ranch in

  25. Africa.

  26. One day my dad was working sheep and so

  27. so we were in the corral and the farm

  28. workers was busy with the sheep and I

  29. was newly on the farm. So I was sitting

  30. on the corral in the shade on the top,

  31. you know, on the top gate. I was sitting

  32. there in the shade while the workers was

  33. busy catching sheep and they were

  34. putting them through like it's like a

  35. shootute but it was a trench that was

  36. dig into the ground and then the sides

  37. was fixed with ce concrete. So you will

  38. fill that uh trench with water and then

  39. you will add um pesticide into the water

  40. and then what they had to do the workers

  41. is that they will grab the sheep by the

  42. back leg and they will push it towards

  43. this trench and then they will push the

  44. sheep into this trench. On the other

  45. side there was like steps so when the

  46. sheep gets into the trench he can get

  47. out. But that trench was like 20 25 feet

  48. long. And you add a stick with a fork at

  49. the end. So when that sheep is in the

  50. water, you'll dunk it under the water so

  51. that it can be covered with the with the

  52. pesticides for all the lice and mites

  53. and ticks that was on that sheep. But

  54. I'm sitting there in the shade looking

  55. at the guys and I mean it's 105° so it's

  56. nice and hot in Africa. So we're I'm

  57. watching them and and and while the

  58. sheep there was like 300 sheep in the

  59. corral and while the sheep was moving

  60. it's it's you know there's a lot of dust

  61. in this corral but at the beginning

  62. these guys was moving man they were

  63. catching sheep and then later on I was

  64. looking at them and I saw them oh they

  65. will walk past one sheep and they'll go

  66. get another sheep way back there and I

  67. was like man what's going on here and

  68. I'm sitting in the shade and I'm like

  69. come on guys you need to pick up speed I

  70. want to go home you're getting slow and

  71. my dad looked at me you know he's the

  72. shepherd of the flock. And he looked at

  73. me, he said, "Peter,

  74. how many of you know when your dad does

  75. that? It it's it's not a good thing."

  76. And I got to him, he said, "U, Peter, I

  77. want you to catch some sheep, pull them

  78. to the trench, and dunk them in the

  79. water." And I was like, "Yes, Dad. I'll

  80. do that." So, I started out and I

  81. grabbed the first sheep. And I think by

  82. number four, if they weigh 170 lbs, by

  83. number four, you you could feel, man,

  84. now suddenly it made sense why some of

  85. the guys was passing one sheep going to

  86. the smaller one because the bigger one

  87. is heavy. You need to drag that to get

  88. it to the chute. And then I realized

  89. with my hands there was like this little

  90. paper thorns on the wool of the sheep.

  91. So some of them you could see those

  92. paper thorns. And then I realized why

  93. they were skipping catching these sheep.

  94. They were catching that one because I

  95. had thorns in my hand.

  96. And then another thing that I realized

  97. was and I pushed them in that in that

  98. trench. Some of them was fighting

  99. getting back and I'm tired now by number

  100. 10. I'm sweating full of dust. I mean

  101. when I smile my teeth is brown of all

  102. that dust in the corral. And I could

  103. understand suddenly why do you want to

  104. kill that sheep? I wanted to drown that

  105. sheep.

  106. But if you've not been in that position,

  107. you don't understand. So I can

  108. understand that a shepherd sometimes

  109. they in the beginning season, we want to

  110. drown the sheep.

  111. You're lucky you're still here.

  112. But you know what? I was sitting on the

  113. side of that corral, wise in my own

  114. eyes,

  115. >> telling people how to do that. But I was

  116. not engaged

  117. >> in working with the sheep. You know how

  118. many times I see people in church,

  119. they're not engaged, but man, they have

  120. all the plans

  121. >> till you get into the corral with me and

  122. we get thorns in our hands and you're

  123. getting dirty. You have sand on your

  124. teeth. I think it's better to be quiet.

  125. And you know, I got so quiet when I was

  126. pulling that sheep because I was tired.

  127. I had no breath to talk anymore. So

  128. sometimes when you get into the gorale

  129. with us

  130. and you get tired, you will not be so

  131. wise to show out all the other faults

  132. that people are making. Amen. I I was

  133. looking the other day. There's a

  134. influencer on on YouTube and he's got

  135. like hundreds of thousands of followers

  136. and he was like this pastor is doing

  137. this and that pastor is doing this and

  138. this pastor is doing this. And I was

  139. wondering I I just want to Google this

  140. guy and I looked up and and and Google

  141. says he doesn't have a church. He's an

  142. influencer. I'm like, "Oh my, I should

  143. get him into the corral. I should get

  144. him to work with the sheep because

  145. you're leading by accusation. You're not

  146. leading by example."

  147. It's easy to sit on the side and say,

  148. "Hey, you over there, I think you should

  149. change that and and you over there." But

  150. when I get into the corral with you, it

  151. suddenly looks so much different.

  152. >> So, it's easy to accuse. I'm not

  153. following your accuser. I'm following

  154. somebody that leads by example. Amen.

  155. >> You need to make sure, you know, back in

  156. the day when the Bible was talking about

  157. follow the shepherd. Today we have

  158. technology that will expose you to so

  159. many shepherds, but not everybody is a

  160. shepherd.

  161. >> And you need to be careful who you're

  162. watching. Amen.

  163. >> Let me start with this scripture in Acts

    Acts 20:28–29

  164. 20

  165. verse 28- 29. It says, "Now it's up to

  166. you. Be on your toes both for yourself

  167. and your congregation of sheep. Can we

  168. do a nice sheep?

  169. Can we do that? Will you join me? One,

  170. two, three.

  171. We're sheep. He says, "My sheep hear my

  172. voice. I'm not a lion." Jesus is the

  173. lion of Judah.

  174. >> Sometimes we get confused. We're like,

  175. "I'm a lion. I'm not walking with

  176. sheep." No, I'm a sheep because I hear

  177. my shepherd's voice. Amen.

  178. >> And I'm led by the lion.

  179. So he says there, he says, "A

  180. congregation of sheep." And then he

  181. says, "The Holy Spirit has put in charge

  182. of these people, God's people. They are

  183. to guard and protect them. God is God

  184. himself thought they were worthy dying

  185. for." And then the next one, he says, "I

  186. know that soon as I'm gone, vicious

  187. wolves are going to show up and rip into

  188. the flock."

  189. The first thing he says, "The Holy

  190. Spirit appointed the shepherds."

  191. This morning I was I was sitting there

  192. in the green room and I said to Alex and

  193. and and and um Jean, I said, "Listen, we

  194. should do this like tap out when you're

  195. in a boxing ring. When I'm struggling

  196. with my sermon, I can just tap." I said,

  197. "Jean, you can do a dance and Alex, you

  198. can prophesy." And then I'll get up on

  199. stage a little later and I said,

  200. "Listen, we're going to go into the rest

  201. of God now. So, we're going to sleep for

  202. half an hour. And they were both like,

  203. "Man, I'm in. I'm in." He says, "But I

  204. don't." And so, Jean said, "But I don't

  205. want to be in your chair when we get

  206. back to the green room,

  207. and you have to give account to the

  208. shepherds that's above you."

  209. You see, we can do all kinds of crazy

  210. stuff, but I want to know. A lot of

  211. times people says they're accountable.

  212. Are you really?

  213. when when you're accountable and I walk

  214. into the green room and they tell me

  215. that's out of line and then I know I

  216. need to make an adjustment. But a lot of

  217. times in church if we tell somebody that

  218. they need to realign, they take offense

  219. and they leave.

  220. >> Amen.

  221. >> Does that resonate? I've seen it so many

  222. times.

  223. >> Listen, I'm grateful for the worship of

  224. this church. I'm grateful for the

  225. leadership of this church.

  226. >> But I've moved through three times,

  227. three times. Three times I got some

  228. Africans in there. You see, I move three

  229. times in my life. I I moved from one

  230. church to another.

  231. I did not move because of friends. I did

  232. not move because they had a good worship

  233. team. I did not move because there was a

  234. prophetic team. I moved. I was fasting

  235. and I was asking God and God spoke with

  236. me and he confirmed it through other

  237. people more than once.

  238. I'm not in this church because I have my

  239. church family or my family from South

  240. Africa living in this church. I'm here

  241. because God has placed me here. And I

  242. will not move because of you. I will

  243. move when my king speaks to me. And

  244. normally he will confirm it through my

  245. leadership. Every time I moved in

  246. Africa, my pastor released me and I had

  247. his blessing to move forward. I I I'm

  248. not trying to be on anybody's toes. I'm

  249. just saying listen, imagine me on the

  250. farm, thousands of sheep. There's four

  251. sheep coming up to me at the gate. I'm

  252. like, why? Where are you guys going? No,

  253. we're going to hit the road, Jack. We're

  254. moving. We got our wool together and

  255. we're going

  256. as a shepherd. I'm going to look down

  257. that road and say, "Hey, you're going to

  258. die out there." You see, the scripture

  259. says there's ravaging wolves

  260. >> that's looking for you.

  261. I'm so grateful for for my for the

  262. pastors I had in my life. There was a

  263. stage blanch and I we had to drive about

  264. between 800 and 1,000 miles a a week

  265. just to give bring children back and

  266. forth from the school because the

  267. schools was far away from us in Africa.

  268. So, some of my friends decided they were

  269. going to buy a a house in the city and

  270. then they're going to make their wife

  271. live in the house in the city while

  272. they're on the farm and then on

  273. Saturdays the wife and the kids will

  274. come back to the farm and then Sunday

  275. they will go back to the city.

  276. And so I was sharing that with my

  277. pastor. I said, "Listen, we're looking

  278. for to buy a house in the city because

  279. 4,000 miles a month is a lot of driving

  280. just for school."

  281. And my pastor looked at me and he said,

  282. "Peter, don't do that." And I said,

  283. "Why? Why not? It's going to be so much

  284. comfortable. We're not going to drive

  285. all those miles." And he said to me, he

  286. said this thing. He said, "Peter, a

  287. husband and a wife, they need to sleep

  288. in the same bed together." I I'm not

  289. talking about if there's a week that you

  290. one day there or two days there, but if

  291. it's going to be for 14 years or 16

  292. years, if you have more children, if

  293. you're staying apart for 16 years,

  294. you're going to be in trouble. So I

  295. listened to my pastor and the five

  296. friends that I had at that stage was all

  297. buying houses in the city and I warned

  298. them. I said, "Listen guys, my pastor

  299. told me not to do that. That's

  300. dangerous." And they were all like,

  301. "Nah, we'll we're fine."

  302. You know, of the five friends that I had

  303. back then, I'm the only one that's still

  304. married.

  305. Every single one after two years, six

  306. years, they met somebody else because

  307. they were drifting apart because they

  308. were never staying together. I'm

  309. grateful for that pastor's insight in my

  310. life because I could have been in the

  311. same position. And you know how God

  312. helped me? Because we move didn't move

  313. them. We moved the kids into an English

  314. school. So Zea and Yelishia and Henry

  315. and Chennai was prepared for us coming

  316. to the US many years down the line. God

  317. was orchestrating that through the

  318. pastors that was speaking in my life.

  319. Are you allowing pastors to speak into

  320. your life?

  321. It says they're there to guard you and

  322. help you. I mean this is a practical

  323. thing but even on the spiritual side

  324. when I got saved I wasn't used to all

  325. all this you know shaking and and waving

  326. and jumping up and down. I mean we were

  327. in church and then the first church that

  328. I was in. You you sing joy to the Lord

  329. but you dare not smile.

  330. We can sing it but you're not going to

  331. show it. You're going to get a look. I

  332. mean you you sneeze. You sneeze. You

  333. don't make a noise. You're quiet as a

  334. mouse in that church. You don't say,

  335. "Praise the Lord." They'll walk up to

  336. you. We're not praising God in here.

  337. You're quiet.

  338. And I'm serious. So now I'm on this new

  339. journey. I got saved.

  340. And they asked me to first the

  341. congregation that I was in wanted to

  342. lock me up in a a mental institute

  343. because I was talking too much about the

  344. Bible. And I said, "Jesus walked in and

  345. he saved me." And they were like,

  346. "You're crazy. You need to go to the

  347. doctor." But anyway, so I'm in the first

  348. church that they they asked me to share

  349. my testimony and I walked into this

  350. church and I mean I'm new with all this

  351. new stuff and I'm sitting there and I

  352. shared my testimony and then the pastor

  353. called me up and he asked me to pray for

  354. this woman. Now I'm kind of nervous.

  355. I've never been exposed to this. So I

  356. walked up to this woman and I stood

  357. there and I started praying and then the

  358. pastor walked up to me and he takes he

  359. takes my hand and he puts my hand on her

  360. shoulder and I'm like what are you doing

  361. but anyway and I can remember I was

  362. standing there with my hand on her

  363. shoulder and then the words that I said

  364. I said Alba father please help this lady

  365. and when I said that this lady dropped

  366. like a rock and she started screaming

  367. and she got delivered but while she's

  368. screaming I'm so scared I've never seen

  369. I'm trying to help her up so I'm trying

  370. to pull her up. Lady, please be quiet.

  371. Everybody's looking at me. You're making

  372. me You're embarrassing me. So, I'm

  373. trying to pull her up. I almost got her

  374. out of her dress. Luckily, there was no

  375. social media. They will say, "Look at

  376. this pastor. I'm dressing the people in

  377. church."

  378. And later the pastor explained to me, he

  379. said, "Peter, God used you and that girl

  380. lady got delivered." But I had no

  381. understanding of that.

  382. That's why we need shepherds in our

  383. life. Amen. Amen.

  384. >> I'm grateful for the ones that I have

  385. and and and make sure that your shepherd

  386. is is led by God and spiritfilled.

  387. >> You know, Nicodemus came up to Jesus

  388. and he said to Jesus, he was asking him

  389. about getting born again. And Jesus said

  390. to him, he said, "Nicodemus,

  391. you're a teacher of Israel. Why is it

  392. that you do not know this?

  393. This teacher could not help you to

  394. salvation. You could attend his sermons

  395. a million times because he did not

  396. understand being born again.

  397. If a if a teacher cannot help you to get

  398. saved, you're in the wrong place.

  399. >> That's right.

  400. >> Then you need to ask God, where do I

  401. need to go? Amen.

  402. So I want to start today with a little

  403. lesson in farming but it helps you with

  404. the shepherd as well. One of the

  405. functions of a shepherd

  406. it's in John 10 verse 1-3

    John 10:1–3

  407. it says

  408. the good shepherd and his sheep sheep

  409. very truly I tell you Pharisees anyone

  410. who does not enter the sheep pin by the

  411. gate but climbs in by some other way is

  412. a thief and a robber no one who enters

  413. by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep

  414. the gatekeeper opens the gate for him

  415. and the sheep listens to his voice. He

  416. calls his own sheep by name and leads

  417. them out. You see, a shepherd,

  418. one of his things is to attend the pen.

  419. But back in the day, they had a small

  420. pen. Now I have I had a thousand acres

  421. pen with a gate and fences up to keep

  422. out the thieves and the robbers and the

  423. predators.

  424. So one of the things that as a as a a

  425. shepherd of my functions was to make

  426. sure the corner post are secure. If that

  427. corner post is not secure and anchored

  428. well the moment I start putting those

  429. lines I'm going to pull out those corner

  430. posts.

  431. Last week we were putting up fences

  432. close to Orangeburg and Tyler and and

  433. Gabriel was there helping me and there

  434. was two corner posts that I was not

  435. really was there on the property when I

  436. got there. The rest of the corner post

  437. we installed and we concrete them in and

  438. we anchored them well. But those two

  439. post I I thought, you know, the previous

  440. guy, he did a good job.

  441. So I started pulling the fence and

  442. luckily Tyler and Gabriel was close to

  443. me and not close to that corner post

  444. that I thought was right. So when I

  445. started pulling those lines, the next

  446. moment that corner post came flying

  447. through the air and the whole fence went

  448. down.

  449. What am I saying? Listen, my first

  450. priority is to anchor you in the corner

  451. post, Jesus Christ.

  452. >> If I start pulling the lines on you and

  453. you're not anchored in Jesus, you're

  454. going to fly through the air.

  455. >> So many people try to to put the the

  456. things of the word in in place in their

  457. life, but they haven't started with the

  458. cornerstone Jesus. They're not concreted

  459. in his word. They're not connected with

  460. the anchor. He's the anchor of my life.

  461. So when I start pulling those lines and

  462. you're not angered, the fence is coming

  463. down. And let me tell you, I've worked

  464. with many sheep in Africa. When a

  465. predator comes into that fence, it's no

  466. fun. A predator has got no mercy for

  467. you. I've had to cut slaughter or cut

  468. sheep's throats because they were eaten

  469. halfway up but still alive.

  470. >> Listen, the devil is not playing games

  471. with you. Right?

  472. >> You need to be anchored in Jesus.

  473. >> And then when you're well anchored, you

  474. can pull the lines. What's the lines? I

  475. mean, there's so many. You can go

  476. through the Bible, but I can name a few

  477. where the Bible says, "Be honor your

  478. wife

  479. so that I can hear when you pray." Don't

  480. treat your wife with disrespect. That's

  481. a line. That's a fence line.

  482. Amen. I can bring another line. Love of

  483. money.

  484. I need to I need to pull those lines in

  485. your life so your fence can be strong so

  486. that the devil cannot get into the

  487. fence.

  488. One that I hear a lot using God's name

  489. in vain. You know the Bible says you

  490. will not go unpunished if you do that.

  491. So many people are here speaking to God

  492. but they're not really speaking to God.

  493. I need to help you with that fence line

  494. because the enemy is going to get

  495. illegal right

  496. when you're breaking the line. Amen.

  497. >> Amen.

  498. >> And you you know a lot of people can

  499. play Christian.

  500. >> That post on that property when from the

  501. road it looked so good.

  502. >> That's right. It looked like it was

  503. anchored

  504. till I started pulling. Then it started

  505. flying through the air. So if I start

  506. pulling on you today, what's what's

  507. going to happen?

  508. I I remember these little kids in in in

  509. in in

  510. the when I was doing children's ministry

  511. in South Africa. This one boy came up to

  512. me one day. He said, "Sir, you need to

  513. pray for my grandfather." And I was

  514. like, "What's going on there?" He says,

  515. "Sir, he's cussing so much. Please pray

  516. for my grandfather." You know, when when

  517. I speak to the little ones, what are

  518. they going to tell me?

  519. >> Yeah, you can stand like that nice post.

  520. Oh, man. I'm I can Oh, I got my hand in

  521. there and I'm praising Jesus. Look at

  522. this light of mine. But when I put that

  523. uh tension on you,

  524. >> what what are we going to see if I speak

  525. to your children? What are what are we

  526. going to see? Amen. Amen.

  527. >> You know, Genesis 4:7 in the Passion

    Genesis 4:7

  528. Translation says,

  529. "Sin is like a predator and it's

  530. standing at the door of your heart.

  531. If you don't have the fence in place,

  532. he's going to get to your heart

  533. >> and he's not going to play games with

  534. you. He's not here for ice cream." Amen.

  535. >> Amen.

  536. >> The next one, wounds.

  537. So Jesus said to John, he said, or Jesus

  538. said to Simon, he said, let me read it

  539. to you. John 12:16, it says, Jesus

    John 12:16

  540. repeated the question, Simon, son of

  541. John, do you love me? Yes, Lord. Peter

  542. said, you know I love you. Then take

  543. care of my sheep, Jesus said. One of the

  544. functions of a shepherd is to take care

  545. of you.

  546. We all need a shepherd to take care of

  547. us.

  548. If you're getting wounded, uh sheeps

  549. when they get cut, the the flies will

  550. lie eggs in that cut and then you will

  551. have worms there. If you don't treat

  552. that cut, the worms will eventually kill

  553. kill that sheep.

  554. And you know what? If you're working

  555. with sheep in the corral,

  556. it happens. You step on the sheep. The

  557. sheep steps on another sheep. It

  558. happens. But the sheep is not leaving

  559. the the herd because another sheep

  560. stepped on his foot and now he's got a

  561. sore foot. Amen.

  562. So when you get hurt, get help.

  563. Probably at the beginning I would have

  564. hurt a lot of people. I remember the one

  565. guy. So when I got to to the churches

  566. that's were more saved people and a

  567. charismatic church. The first time I

  568. went into a charismatic church, I

  569. thought in my mind that everybody in

  570. that church is saved. So that was what I

  571. was thinking in my mind, but I'm new to

  572. this. So I walked into the back of the

  573. church and here's this guy standing at

  574. the back of the church and he's doing

  575. this.

  576. And I looked at him and I thought, man,

  577. what's going what's going on here?

  578. What's this? And he says, no, I'm just

  579. praying to Mother Mary. And I thought

  580. this guy was just messing around with me

  581. as a newbie in church. So I looked at

  582. him and I said, "You must be crazy.

  583. There's no way in hell that Mother Mary

  584. can can save you." And that guy got so

  585. upset and he left the church. So I was

  586. his wound. I wounded him in my stupidity

  587. not knowing the right response helping

  588. this guy. But at least he got it the

  589. truth.

  590. But you know, two weeks ago, there was a

  591. cow that was struggling to give milk to

  592. the calf. I took the cow to the corral.

  593. I tied her down. She was fighting me.

  594. She wanted to to get rid of me because

  595. she was thinking I was against her and I

  596. was against the calf. But eventually

  597. when I milked her out, I helped the

  598. calf. She was the very next time I

  599. brought her into the corral, she was so

  600. much better. And then she started

  601. trusting me. But I was there to help

  602. her.

  603. You need a shepherd to help you.

  604. Sometimes you're in a position that you

  605. cannot help yourself. When I flew into

  606. the states

  607. and some of you know the story, but a

  608. few things that went I went through is I

  609. was fired when I said yes to God. I was

  610. fired. I was put out of my house. I

  611. walked into a a meeting, three meetings.

  612. The first meeting they accused me of

  613. stealing a lot of money. And eventually

  614. they realized that they made a mistake

  615. and they asked sorry for that. But then

  616. the second meeting I walked in, I was

  617. fired and then I was told to get out of

  618. my house. So I came to the states by the

  619. grace of God. Where did he put me?

  620. Broken, full of wounds.

  621. If you don't treat the wounds, the

  622. wounds will treat you.

  623. >> So I'm broken. Came into the states and

  624. what did God do? I landed living with

  625. the pastors for 6 months and God was

  626. helping me to heal.

  627. >> You know at that beginning stage the

  628. pastors will call us and say blanch you

  629. and Peter we we we want to have a

  630. meeting with you guys. Can we meet

  631. there? I had this cold thing going down

  632. my back when they said we want to have a

  633. meeting with you because in my mind I

  634. was thinking if we walk into that

  635. meeting what's going to happen?

  636. I was so scared.

  637. Is is the bomb going to explode again?

  638. But God helped me to get healed from

  639. that wound.

  640. What's the wounds in your life?

  641. If you don't deal with that wound, that

  642. wound is going to deal with you and it's

  643. going to come back and it's going to

  644. come back and it's going to come back

  645. and it's going to come back. Get over

  646. that.

  647. Let the shepherd help you to get healed.

  648. Amen.

  649. The third one

  650. that I want to talk about

  651. is feed

  652. today. I'm feeding you.

  653. So, I'm feeding the sheep and I'm

  654. feeding the cattle on the farm. So, I

  655. look at the cattle when they get a

  656. little bit too fat. I know, listen, I

  657. need to slow down on the feed. But

  658. there's reasons why we do that. When a

  659. heer is close to giving birth, I cannot

  660. make her too fat or a sheep. If if she's

  661. too fat, that baby is going to grow too

  662. big inside. So when they need to give

  663. birth, the baby is going to be big and

  664. they're going to struggle. So I I start

  665. supplementing in them. I'm starting to

  666. to give them less feed. And when I look

  667. outside, because I want to have them get

  668. a balanced food, I look outside. So, I

  669. make a I I look at what the surroundings

  670. looks like and then I adjust the food

  671. for the cattle and for the sheep.

  672. But when I'm in church, I look at what's

  673. happening out there and then I'm

  674. starting to adjust the food

  675. to make you eat the right things for

  676. what's coming. Amen.

  677. >> And you will ask me, what do you mean? I

  678. mean, I need to adjust the food. If I

  679. switch on the phone and I look at the at

  680. the news, I will see, man, the food that

  681. I need to help people with is one, they

  682. need to honor their mother and father.

  683. Children need to honor their mother and

  684. father.

  685. Who of you want their your kids to die

  686. soon? Or who of you want your kids to

  687. have a long life?

  688. Only a few. Oh, there's quite a few of

  689. you. So, the Bible says, he says, "Honor

  690. your mother and father and that will

  691. extend your life." Amen. And so I need

  692. to feed you that because I see on the

  693. media and on the news there's children

  694. not honoring their mother and father. I

  695. need to feed you that so you can help

  696. your children so that they can have a

  697. long life. Amen.

  698. >> The next one it says respect

  699. people in authority

  700. because they carry the sword.

  701. If you don't teach your children to to

  702. respect authority, they're going to be

  703. in trouble. If you switch on the the

  704. news, you'll see that where children

  705. where people were stepping out of line

  706. with authority with no respect that cost

  707. them because they were they were meeting

  708. people with the sword. Amen. I need to

  709. feed you that. The third one, and I've

  710. told you this before, is uh in Africa

  711. when we started the the church in the

  712. village,

  713. the black guy that was sitting next to

  714. me in the truck, that was a challenge

  715. for me. And then the city or the town

  716. would not speak to this white guy that's

  717. got the black guy next to him in the

  718. truck. And then when I got to the

  719. village, the black people in the village

  720. called me a white baboon.

  721. Man, they kept me busy. I would not say

  722. what the white people told me, but they

  723. didn't speak with me for a year.

  724. But you know what? I was fed by a

  725. shepherd that told me, "Peter,

  726. you are a child of God. You're not a

  727. white baboon

  728. >> and you're not what they call you. And

  729. I'm not going to allow the enemy to pull

  730. me back and forth, swing me back and

  731. forth." So when you when I look at the

  732. news today, I'm not going to engage in

  733. racial things. I don't care if you're

  734. black. I don't care if you're purple. I

  735. don't care if you're green or yellow. I

  736. care if you are a child of the most high

  737. God. That's the only thing that I care

  738. about.

  739. But if you allow that thing to get under

  740. your skin, it's going to move you time

  741. and time again.

  742. >> What are you allowing? What are you

  743. feeding yourself?

  744. >> You need to get the word of God in you.

  745. You need to get the shepherd's real food

  746. in you so that the devil cannot play

  747. flip-flop with you.

  748. >> Amen.

  749. >> I thank God for shepherds.

  750. >> You know feed the wrong feet will kill

  751. you in a moment. We had a ram. We had it

  752. for about two hours. It was the most

  753. expensive ram that was on the auction.

  754. They took pictures for the newspaper

  755. with Blanch and the ram. And then when

  756. the ram got unloaded on the farm,

  757. somebody left the gate open and the ram

  758. got to the wrong food. And in one hour,

  759. we only had the picture. The ram was

  760. dead. That was sad.

  761. The wrong food will kill you so quick.

  762. Make sure that you eat the right food.

  763. Make sure with social media

  764. there's so much food that's the wrong

  765. food.

  766. Let it run through the shepherd.

  767. The shepherd takes care of the sheep.

  768. And then the last one is trust.

  769. Jesus is the shepherd king.

  770. He's got a good plan for your life.

  771. Amen.

  772. >> But you have to trust him even if you go

  773. through bad places. I remember in in in

  774. 2015, we were going through the worst

  775. drought in a 100red years in South

  776. Africa.

  777. and we just bought some cattle and we

  778. were out of food. We had about a week

  779. and a half left of food and I was

  780. sitting on the farm one morning and I

  781. said, "God,

  782. I have no idea what to do." Farmers were

  783. committing suicide because they had no

  784. food for their animals.

  785. Farmers will drive up to the stockyard.

  786. They will put their animals on the

  787. stockyard and they will tell people,

  788. "Can anybody just take my cows

  789. because I don't have food?" They didn't

  790. want money. They just wanted their cows

  791. to be alive.

  792. So, I'm sitting there on the farm and

  793. and you hear all these stories in the

  794. news and all the chaos like now, oh, the

  795. gas prices, we're not going to make it.

  796. I'm going to lose my job. And that fear

  797. starts to grip on you. So, I'm sitting

  798. there on the farm and I said, "God, I

  799. don't know what to do. I have all these

  800. cows." And I remember blanch through

  801. open the the last gate and I know we had

  802. a week and a half maybe two weeks of

  803. food left and then I'm going to be in

  804. the same boat.

  805. And that morning 5:00 while I was

  806. praying and asking God for help. 10:00

  807. that morning a farmer phoned me and he

  808. said, "Listen, I need somebody else's

  809. number." And I was asking him and he

  810. said, "Well, I'm I I want to put my farm

  811. out for people to to lease in the

  812. future, but I they cannot lease it now

  813. because there's no water."

  814. And I and I was like, "God, are you

  815. opening a way for me?" So I said to the

  816. guy, I said, "Can I come and look at the

  817. farm?" And he said, "Yeah, sure. But I

  818. have no water." So I walked onto the

  819. farm. The grass was standing this high.

  820. It was about 2,800 acres of grass. Man,

  821. there was so much food. And I was

  822. standing there and I was looking at

  823. that. And he said, "Peter, I have five

  824. ponds, but the the the dam walls or the

  825. pond walls broke, so there's no water in

  826. that." And while I was standing there, I

  827. phoned a guy that had a bulldozer, a

  828. friend of mine. I said, "Listen, I'm

  829. standing on this farm. There's five dams

  830. that's broken. Uh, I need help. Can you

  831. send a bulldozer?" He says, "Peter,

  832. sure." He says, "My bulldozer is you,

  833. you won't believe it, but the bulldozer

  834. is just next door. I'll have it there

  835. tomorrow." So the next day, the

  836. bulldozer pulled in. In four days, they

  837. fixed the five dams, all the cracks. big

  838. D7 pulled in there and closed all their

  839. gaps in the damn wall. By day five, they

  840. all called it a freak storm in that

  841. neighborhood. They said it was a freak

  842. storm. We had four inches of flash

  843. flood. The neighbors had a quarter of

  844. inch. On that only on that farm, we had

  845. 4 in of flash flood. Of the five dams,

  846. four was overflowing and number five was

  847. half full. We moved all our cattle and

  848. all our sheep to that farm and God made

  849. a way. I want to tell you, if you go

  850. through, praise God for that. If you go

  851. through a tough time,

  852. you can trust the shepherd king.

  853. >> He's got the best at heart. Amen.
