  1. Good morning.

  2. Listen, before I start,

  3. um, we are really privileged with the

  4. worship in this church. Amen.

  5. >> And I know sometimes we forget how lucky

  6. we are with people singing, but I think

  7. the next Sunday maybe they should invite

  8. me, you know, just to do to lead the

  9. chorus. And then you will re remember

  10. that we have an awesome worship team. I

  11. I I remember at one uh men's retreat

  12. back in Africa uh I was singing a sword

  13. phrase and then the leadership of the

  14. men's retreat came up to me and they

  15. said, "Peter, God called you to preach,

  16. not to sing." So that settled it. So I'm

  17. grateful for this church and the

  18. worship. It's always, you know, they're

  19. they're leading us into the presence of

  20. God. Amen. Amen.

  21. >> Before we start this morning, let's

  22. pray.

  23. Father God, I thank you for this day.

  24. I thank you that you're a good father.

  25. Father, I thank you for the privilege to

  26. stand on this platform. Holy Spirit, I

  27. pray that you will lead my words, that

  28. you will guide me, and that I will say

  29. what you want me to say. In Jesus name,

  30. I pray this. Amen.

  31. >> Amen.

  32. >> The title of my message is stepping into

  33. your destiny. Now before I want to get

  34. into that, a few weeks back we were

  35. blessed by a friend to go for a week to

  36. Edto Beach.

  37. [laughter] That sounds good. And I mean

  38. that was awesome. But I had a little bit

  39. of a South African experience there.

  40. While we were at Edto Beach, the main

  41. power supply that went into the beach,

  42. there was a transformer that caught fire

  43. and the electricity was off for like 7

  44. hours. So that reminded me in South

  45. Africa a lot of times we had load

  46. shedding that's what they call it eight

  47. hours or nine hours without any

  48. electricity. So, I got a little bit of

  49. homesick. But, but during this uh

  50. experience,

  51. I was looking because it was turning

  52. dark and I said to Blanch, "We we need a

  53. light." And I mean, my flashlight or my

  54. phone because there was no power to

  55. charge it was running down. And so,

  56. there was no light. And I said, "Listen,

  57. let's start seeking for a candle or

  58. maybe there's something in this house."

  59. So, eventually I got a hold of a candle.

  60. It was up on a shelf and Blonde got the

  61. lighter and she handed me the lighter

  62. and I was trying to, you know, get that

  63. uh candle going and Blanch told me, she

  64. said, "Peter, just bring it down so you

  65. can see." [laughter]

  66. And I said, "No, I got this." And so I

  67. got the light up there and I lit the

  68. candle and I got the candle going and I

  69. looked at the candle, but you know, when

  70. I got it started up, it was burning, but

  71. it was not like a real bright uh light.

  72. And I took it off and I put it on the

  73. coffee table and I started walking

  74. towards the kitchen. And it was about 30

  75. seconds after that candle was lit. It

  76. suddenly went out and I walked back. I

  77. got the lighter and I wanted to start

  78. the the candle again. And I looked

  79. inside and there was no wig. It's gone.

  80. And I'm like, "What's wrong with this

  81. candle?" And as I lift the candle up, I

  82. realized that that was the electrical

  83. candle.

  84. Kudus for me getting an electrical

  85. candle started with a lighter. I mean

  86. that was awesome. But you know what? I

  87. should have listened to Blanch in the

  88. first place because he had that when I

  89. felt in you know when I stuck my hand

  90. into the candle I could feel that furry

  91. little thing or like the wig and I

  92. thought it was the wig but they had that

  93. bulb that was covered in stuff. So I got

  94. that bulb going but just with the wrong

  95. light.

  96. You know how many times

  97. when we have to step into our destiny,

  98. we use the wrong fire.

  99. God's got a plan for you and then the

  100. enemy comes and he deceives people

  101. and he uses the wrong fire to lit you up

  102. and you're for 30 seconds you're like,

  103. "Wow, it's going." But it's not really

  104. going because that was not the design

  105. for the candle. Amen. Sometimes you need

  106. a wife to tell you, "Hey, Peter, just

  107. bring the candle down and lit it up here

  108. so you can see." Because a lot of times

  109. we do stuff and we're not really paying

  110. attention and we're not watching what

  111. we're doing. Amen. I want to start with

  112. this

  113. destiny. What is the meaning of destiny?

  114. If I can define destiny. So many faith

  115. systems defines destiny as this as a

  116. divine purpose by a higher intelligence

  117. to fulfill a worldly role.

  118. So you have a role. There's a destiny

  119. for you that you have to fulfill. And I

  120. want to read the scripture for you. We

  121. have become his poetry. It's in

  122. Ephesians 2:10. We have become his

    Ephesians 2:10

  123. poetry. a recreated people that will

  124. fulfill the destiny he has given each of

  125. us.

  126. For we are joined to Jesus, the anointed

  127. one. Even before we were born, God

  128. planned in advance our destiny. Say with

  129. me, before I was born,

  130. >> Before I was born,

  131. >> God planned

  132. >> God

  133. >> in advance our destiny.

  134. >> And the good work we would do to fulfill

  135. it.

  136. You see that when I when I go into the

  137. definition of that, it says purpose. So

  138. one part of destiny is purpose. You know

  139. how many people I've met and if I ask

  140. them why are you here? They look at me I

  141. always say like a cow looking at a new

  142. gate. They have this stare in their

  143. eyes. They cannot they cannot tell me

  144. what's their purpose.

  145. If I ask you today what's your purpose?

  146. Why are you here?

  147. I know it's not all about donuts and

  148. cookies and cream and all that stuff. We

  149. are here for a purpose. Amen. And if the

  150. devil can deceive you for out of your

  151. purpose, you will not fulfill your

  152. destiny.

  153. Listen, he deceived a third of heaven.

  154. They were in the presence of God. The

  155. angels were created to worship God. They

  156. were created as beings to fulfill

  157. assignments. And then the devil came and

  158. he deceived a third of heaven

  159. and their purpose stopped. They were

  160. cast out of heaven.

  161. So the devil can deceive you too. Amen.

  162. That's why we need to be banning

  163. together as brothers, as a church. We

  164. need to be together as a community

  165. because you will not be so easily

  166. deceived. Amen.

  167. so that you can fulfill your role. You

  168. have a role on this planet. Each and

  169. every person, it says before you were

  170. born, he had a destiny for you.

  171. It's like this one farmer in Africa, I

  172. think I've shared a long time ago, but

  173. he had this Land Cruiser 4x4

  174. and he lived up in South South um West

  175. Africa and they were going over sand

  176. dunes

  177. and my friend Hendrick was with him in

  178. the truck and as they were cruising

  179. across the dunes, this guy had five guys

  180. on the back of the the Land Cruiser. And

  181. so every time they got to a sand dune,

  182. when they got to the edge, he will

  183. whistle and the five guys will jump off

  184. of the land roand land cruiser because

  185. he could not go over that that sand

  186. dune. And when he whistles, they will

  187. jump off and they'll push the Land

  188. Cruiser over the the the last bit of the

  189. dune. And so Hendrick was sitting with

  190. this older gentleman and he looked at

  191. what he was doing. And then he said to

  192. him by the third dune, he said, "Stop.

  193. Stop." And Andrew got to out of the Land

  194. Cruiser and he switched the the 4x4 into

  195. action. It was an older Land Cruiser and

  196. he changed the gear there. And then they

  197. went over the next dune and he didn't

  198. had to whistle. The Land Cru cruiser

  199. went over the dune and went over the

  200. next dune. And so this guy looked at

  201. Hendrickk and he said to Hendrick, he

  202. said, "I don't know what you just did,

  203. but never change that again."

  204. Because this this cruiser was designed

  205. to transport people through severe

  206. circumstances, severe roads, but it was

  207. never engaged.

  208. So, it never fulfill its purpose.

  209. You know how many people is never

  210. engaged in their 4x4 and they're not

  211. fulfilling their purpose?

  212. the the assignment for that land cruiser

  213. is to bring people from one place to

  214. another place through bad circumstances.

  215. You have a purpose and a role to

  216. fulfill. And if you're not engaged,

  217. you're never going to do it. If you're

  218. deceived, you're never going to get to

  219. it. Amen.

  220. >> Purpose adds value.

  221. If I call you or if I call a farmer and

  222. I tell him, "Listen, I have in the back

  223. of my yard, I have this big John Deere

  224. 8,300.

  225. Will you buy it?" He will like, "Yeah,

  226. yeah. If he's a if he's a guy that's

  227. farming and planting, he will definitely

  228. be interested if he's in, you know,

  229. looking out for a tractor to to expand

  230. his business." And that tractor, by

  231. knowing the purpose of that tractor, it

  232. will add value to that tractor. But if I

  233. phone a guy and tell them that, listen,

  234. there's a big chunk of green metal

  235. standing in my backyard and and they ask

  236. me what is it for? I said, I don't know.

  237. It's just a big chunk of green metal.

  238. It will have no value. But if I tell you

  239. what that piece of metal is and what the

  240. purpose is of that metal, it will

  241. suddenly bring value forth.

  242. If you're a child of God, that adds

  243. value to you.

  244. If the enemy can get you

  245. not to know your value,

  246. >> he's going to devalue you and you're

  247. going to be worthless.

  248. If I look at how many people are dep

  249. depressed,

  250. the enemy has devalued you. You feel

  251. worthless.

  252. You don't know you're a child of God.

  253. Amen.

  254. You need to be engaged and have a

  255. purpose. The the next scripture that I

  256. want to read is

  257. in Ephesians 2 19-22.

  258. That's plain enough, isn't it? You're no

  259. longer wandering exile. The kingdom of

  260. faith is now your home country. You're

  261. no longer a stranger or an outsider. You

  262. belong here with as much right to the

  263. name Christian as anyone. God is

  264. building a home.

  265. He's using us all. Everyone sitting in

  266. this room. He's using us all.

  267. Irrespective of how we got here. I don't

  268. care if you if you got here from Africa

  269. or if you were a druggie or whatever.

  270. He's using each and every one of us.

  271. Amen.

  272. >> And what he is building, he uses the

  273. apostles and prophets for the

  274. foundation. Now he's using you, fitting

  275. you in brick by brick, stone by stone

  276. with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone

  277. that holds all the parts together.

  278. Listen, if you've ever been around brick

  279. layers in South Africa, we build a lot

  280. of houses using bricks, but they will

  281. chop that brick and cut it and then

  282. they'll fit it and they'll they'll have

  283. the cement keeping all the bricks

  284. together. It's the same with us when

  285. you're part of a church. Sometimes, you

  286. know, when they hit you with that

  287. trough, I don't know what you call it,

  288. the truffle. Is that the thing that you

  289. that one if you use that and you and you

  290. cut the brick, then it you you size it

  291. up. But when you're sitting in church,

  292. sometimes, you know, we chop off a

  293. little bit and it's not it's not that

  294. pleasant. You can smile now. It's a good

  295. time to smile.

  296. But Jesus is the cement keeping us all

  297. together and he's building a house and

  298. we're all part of that. So first to

  299. fulfill your destiny you need to know

  300. your purpose.

  301. The second part is you need to have

  302. vision.

  303. It doesn't help you if you have this

  304. tractor but you have no vision for the

  305. tractor.

  306. So you need vision and you need to ask

  307. God vision. If you know your purpose,

  308. then you're going to need vision to

  309. build on this. Amen. I want to read this

  310. scripture in Jeremiah. It says

  311. Jeremiah 1 11-12. It says, "Then the

  312. Lord said to me, look, Jeremiah, what do

  313. you see?" And I replied, "I I see a

  314. branch from a almond tree."

  315. And the Lord said, "That's right. And it

  316. means that I am watching and I will

  317. certainly carry out all my plans."

  318. So God is saying to Jeremiah, he says,

  319. "What do you see?" And then God knew

  320. exactly what he showed Jeremiah,

  321. but he wanted to hear what Jeremiah

  322. experienced while he was looking at this

  323. so he could know. Did Jeremiah

  324. understand the vision?

  325. Why would he ask him, "What do you see?"

  326. You need to write your vision down and

  327. maybe share it and ask God, "What's the

  328. vision? What do you see?" Cuz I've I

  329. remember this one guy in South Africa,

  330. Ron Kushmo. He was preaching in a in a

  331. church and the one guy came up to him

  332. and he said to him, he said, "You know

  333. what? I need uh to marry that woman. I'm

  334. going God told me to divorce my wife and

  335. I need to marry that woman."

  336. So So Ron Kush was standing in front of

  337. him and the next moment Ron Kushmal gave

  338. him a slap through the face. I mean the

  339. preacher hitting the the guy and he

  340. looked at him and he said, "What did you

  341. just do now?" He said, "Why did you do

  342. that for?" And Ron Kushmal said to him,

  343. he said, "Well, God told me to smack

  344. you."

  345. [laughter]

  346. And the guy said to me, he said, "God

  347. will never tell you to smack me." And he

  348. and Ron looked at him, he said, "Yeah,

  349. God will never tell you to divorce your

  350. wife and marry that woman." You see,

  351. sometimes you need to to share your

  352. vision. Because I've seen people

  353. [laughter]

  354. that will leave their wife because

  355. they're so so in their mind they're

  356. thinking God is telling them that and

  357. it's a lie. So you need somebody to

  358. smack your cut the brick a little bit

  359. smaller

  360. >> to tell you listen you need to wake up.

  361. >> So that's so important. Habac Habach you

  362. guys say it different than me. I say

  363. Habac. But two verse two says write the

  364. vision down.

  365. So you need to find your purpose and

  366. then you need to get vision from God.

  367. And how are you going to get that vision

  368. from God? You're going to spend time

  369. with God. You're going to ask God and

  370. then you're going to start writing it

  371. down

  372. because you have a role to fulfill.

  373. We're in a time where people need to

  374. step up. It's not just a Sunday thing.

  375. Amen. Amen.

  376. >> I remember in South Africa at a stage I

  377. was I wanted to buy corn

  378. and uh the prophets. So I'm always

  379. listening to what the prophetic word is

  380. in South Africa were sharing that there

  381. was going to be a drought in the United

  382. States. So in my mind I was thinking

  383. okay if there's going to be a drought

  384. that was in 2017 16 somewhere there if

  385. there's going to be a drought that means

  386. the corn prices is going to go up in the

  387. United States. And because I like

  388. listening to the prophets, because I act

  389. on what the prophet says, but I asked

  390. God if I need to act. So this this word

  391. came out. And so I asked God, I said,

  392. "God, I want to buy some corn on Chicago

  393. Board of Trade."

  394. And uh I asked God, I said, "God, if if

  395. I need to how how am I going to buy a

  396. million bushels or a thousand bushels on

  397. the board of Chicago Board of Trade? I

  398. feel like a million bushels, but how

  399. will you tell me about a million

  400. bushels?

  401. And as I was thinking it, it was in the

  402. church during worship. As I was

  403. thinking, asking God, how will I do a

  404. million bushels? How will you tell me?

  405. The next moment they changed the song.

  406. And in African's language, it said, "And

  407. the angels are standing in millions

  408. around his throne." So the moment I

  409. asked and they changed the song and it

  410. says millions. I knew I had to do this.

  411. So God gave me a date. He said a million

  412. bushels. I was hedging corn on on

  413. Chicago Board of Trade and uh so I

  414. bought it. He gave me the date and the

  415. date that I bought the corn was the

  416. lowest price in two years on the market.

  417. So I bought the corn and then in the

  418. first week on the million bushels I made

  419. a lot of money and I mean a lot of money

  420. and I got so excited I said to Blan

  421. we're going to be so rich. I mean this

  422. is something personal that I do on the

  423. side. It was not part of the farming

  424. fund. It was my own personal funding and

  425. I said, "Listen, I'm going to get into

  426. this." So, I bought another We ended up

  427. with 3 and a2 million bushels of corn on

  428. on Chicago Board of Trade and I was

  429. like, "Man, the money is just coming.

  430. Look at this." But God told me two weeks

  431. and I need to be out of the market. And

  432. I was like, "Man, if I can go another

  433. two weeks, I'm going to retire. I'm

  434. never going to work again with the way

  435. this is going." And I remember that one

  436. night I was sitting and and the markets

  437. it works in in the US. you can get out

  438. of Chicago Board of Trade during the

  439. night, but if you're from a different

  440. country and you're investing into the

  441. Chicago Board of Trade, when that uh

  442. 5:00 when it closes in South Africa, I

  443. cannot get on that board of trade till

  444. the next morning. And that night of the

  445. third week,

  446. the corn turned against me and I was

  447. watching it the whole night till 9:00

  448. that next morning. I lost all the money

  449. that I made and I lost a lot of money

  450. that I invested into that. And man was I

  451. crying and I was weeping. I was like,

  452. "Man, God, I listen to you and you told

  453. me and and I was just so upset." And I

  454. mean it it it you know when somebody

  455. touches your money it's hard. [laughter]

  456. Yeah. Some of you know you felt that. So

  457. I'm sitting there and I I found this one

  458. prophetic friend of mine. I said,

  459. "Andre, I said listen, can you believe

  460. this happened?" You [laughter] know that

  461. old story myself face on. And he said to

  462. me, "Peter, tell me what happened." I

  463. said, "Well, God told me to buy. He told

  464. me to sell two weeks." Uh, and he told

  465. me to buy a million bushels. And he

  466. said, "Okay, okay. Whoa, whoa, whoa.

  467. You're on 3.6 million bushels. You're

  468. four weeks in the market. What did you

  469. do?" I was like, "Man, it was so it was

  470. so making money. It was so good."

  471. [laughter]

  472. And he said, "Peter, the Bible says

  473. don't add anything and don't take

  474. anything away that God gave you." You

  475. see in vision you need to start writing

  476. your vision down because the moment

  477. money will dist distract you. If you

  478. don't have that vision written down and

  479. you suddenly have the boat and the plane

  480. and the house and all that stuff, it's

  481. going to draw your attention away from

  482. God. I did not write it down and I did

  483. not stick to my vision and it burned my

  484. fingers.

  485. If you want to fulfill your destiny and

  486. God gives you a vision, you need to

  487. write it down and say, "God, you told me

  488. this because I don't want to get

  489. distracted." Amen.

  490. The next one.

  491. So, first you need purpose and then you

  492. need vision, but then you need to step

  493. into action. Jeremiah 1:17 says, "Get up

    Jeremiah 1:17

  494. and prepare for action. Go out and tell

  495. them everything I tell you to say. Do

  496. not be afraid of them or I will make you

  497. look foolish in front of them. You know

  498. how many people I've I've seen that will

  499. tell me, listen, God told me this and

  500. they never did anything with that word.

  501. I've seen it so many times. People will

  502. share, oh man, God told me this and if I

  503. only responded to that, I would have

  504. seen the fruit, but I there was a

  505. reason. Maybe I was too scared or I had

  506. no action.

  507. Are you in action when God speaks or are

  508. you rethinking it?

  509. When he gives you a word

  510. that that word pass and then you wait

  511. for another word, flying to another

  512. prophet to give you that same word and

  513. then another prophet and by the fifth

  514. time you're you're still not engaging

  515. into that prophetic word.

  516. What is God speaking to you?

  517. What is he speaking to you about your

  518. business?

  519. Are you in action or is it just about

  520. you?

  521. Because he says in that scripture, he

  522. says, "Do not be afraid."

  523. So action

  524. sometimes challenge you because he will

  525. not add there don't be afraid if it's

  526. not going to challenge you.

  527. I remember when I got saved, there was

  528. this I was in the grocery store buying

  529. some groceries one day and the kids were

  530. all in boarding school and I'm walking

  531. in this grocery store and there's

  532. there's an old lady that came past me

  533. and my my grocery trolley shopping cart

  534. was filled to the full because I have

  535. four kids and and when they get back

  536. from boarding school they're hungry

  537. especially if they're there for a week.

  538. And so I bought all this groceries and

  539. this old lady walked past me. She looked

  540. at me and she said, "I'm glad I don't

  541. have to pay for that shopping cart." I'm

  542. like, "Ma'am, kids boarding school. I

  543. have to buy a lot of food." So, I'm

  544. busy. And as I was finishing up in the

  545. in the shopping, you know, in this um

  546. grocery store, the lady was standing

  547. right in front of me at the counter

  548. where we have to pay. And God started

  549. speaking to me. He said, "Peter, you

  550. need to to pay for that lady's shopping

  551. cart." [laughter] I looked I was for a

  552. minute there. I was looking at it and I

  553. looked at her shopping cart and it was

  554. full of magazines.

  555. And I was like, "Man, I'm not doing

  556. that. I'm God. If she's hungry, I can

  557. understand. I mean, if you need food, I

  558. I will pay for the food." But there's

  559. like 20 magazines and you guys, you know

  560. what the magazine cost in this? You

  561. know, it's they're expensive. I'm like,

  562. "God, I'm not paying for magazines." So,

  563. I'm standing there and and I and I I'm

  564. not going to do this. And then the lady

  565. I mean, now I'm I'm I'm trying to get

  566. myself out of this deal.

  567. You know, you've [laughter] you've been

  568. there, too. You know that action that

  569. you need to take. So, I'm standing there

  570. and I'm thinking, "Okay." And she pulled

  571. out her wallet and then she she took out

  572. a card. Now, if you have a private

  573. banking card, I know you have money cuz

  574. you have a private banking card. that

  575. means there's money in the bank. So, she

  576. pulls out that card and I'm like, "Yeah,

  577. you see God, I don't have to pay for

  578. this. She's got a private banker. She

  579. doesn't need my money and not for

  580. magazines."

  581. So, as I'm standing and negotiating with

  582. God why I should or should not go into

  583. action, I realized I'm going to be

  584. disobedient to the Lord. And so, she had

  585. the card at the cashier, the guy in

  586. South Africa. It's not like you swipe it

  587. and and then you take it, you give it,

  588. you hand it to the cashier and he'll

  589. swipe it for you. So, she handed her

  590. card to the cashier and I walked over

  591. and I grabbed the card from the cashier.

  592. Now, in South Africa, you should think

  593. twice about that because you it might be

  594. somebody that wants to take advantage of

  595. your card. So, I took the card and I

  596. hand it back to the lady and I said,

  597. "Ma'am, God spoke to me. He said, "I

  598. need to pay for this." And that old

  599. lady, she started weeping right there in

  600. the supermarket or in the grocery store.

  601. And she grabbed a hold of me. She said,

  602. "You know what? I have no children. I

  603. lost my husband 10 years ago. I'm the

  604. only one of my whole family left on this

  605. earth." And this morning, I was

  606. thinking, "God, did you forget about me?

  607. You don't even know that I exist."

  608. And she was just weeping. She said, "I

  609. know God did not forget about me." I

  610. mean, the the cashier came out behind

  611. and she was weeping. It was just snot

  612. and tears all over us.

  613. But you know what? When I walked out of

  614. that store, I was so grateful that I

  615. stepped into action

  616. out of my comfort zone and touched that

  617. lady. I could have missed out on that

  618. whole thing where God wanted to say to

  619. that old lady and then it made sense.

  620. The books was not it was to she's alone.

  621. She's got no nothing else. So she was

  622. reading. But you see, in my mind, it

  623. was, "Oh, you're wasting. You should buy

  624. food and not books." You see, God knows

  625. it all. But we have to walk out our

  626. destiny. And we have to step into action

  627. because we are a church of action. Amen.

  628. >> We're not here for the pancakes and the

  629. donuts. We enjoy that, too. It's good. I

  630. mean, the the store out here is good.

  631. But we know we are purpose-driven

  632. people. We are people that's motivated

  633. by God. and we're stepping into action

  634. and we're going to fulfill our destiny.

  635. Amen.

  636. [applause]

  637. >> Praise God for that.

  638. The the the fourth one I want to speak

  639. about is partnerships. And I'm not going

  640. to go through this scripture. It's too

  641. long, but you can go and read it at

  642. home. 1 Kings 13, it talks about the old

  643. prophet and the young prophet.

  644. So in this season it's very important

  645. who are you aligning with and who is

  646. your partnerships that you are forming.

  647. So this young prophet was sent from

  648. Judah to Bethl to go and give a

  649. prophetic word to the king. And as the

  650. king was standing at the altar, he gave

  651. a prophetic word. And it seems like the

  652. king wasn't happy with this word because

  653. he tried to grab the prophet. And then

  654. the c when he stuck his hand out towards

  655. the prophet, he suddenly his hand became

  656. crooked. But the altar cracked in two

  657. and the ashes fell to the ground exactly

  658. as the prophet the young prophet told

  659. the king what's going to happen. And

  660. after the king's hand went crooked, he

  661. asked the young prophet to pray for him.

  662. And so this mean king that wanted to

  663. grab him suddenly, you know, he had an

  664. attitude change.

  665. Sometimes we get an attitude change when

  666. we we trying to get to somebody and then

  667. God touches us. Amen. Then we change our

  668. attitude. But anyway, so this king asked

  669. for prayer and then after his hand got

  670. healed again, he said to the young

  671. prophet, he said, "Listen, come to my

  672. house. I have some gifts for you." and

  673. and and and and the young prophet said

  674. to me, he said, "I don't want your

  675. gifts. I don't I don't care even if you

  676. give me half of what you own. I don't

  677. want that because God told me, I need to

  678. give the word and then I need to leave

  679. the country."

  680. And so the young prophet left. I'm so

  681. grateful he wasn't moved by money. He

  682. wasn't moved by things. He was moved by

  683. the word of God.

  684. But then later on as he was leaving

  685. Bethl, another prophet came up to him

  686. and said to him, "Listen, I have a new

  687. word for you.

  688. God told me you need to stay and you

  689. need to eat with me." And because he

  690. said he was a prophet, but the Bible

  691. says he lied to the young prophet, this

  692. old prophet. Because he lied and the

  693. young prophet stayed and he ate with

  694. him, a lion got a hold of the young

  695. prophet and his destiny stopped there.

  696. Listen, I want to tell you today,

  697. I was thinking, young prophet, why did

  698. you do that and listen to that old

  699. prophet? You don't know him. You don't

  700. know him from nowhere because he had to

  701. introduce you him to you and tell you

  702. that he was a prophet.

  703. Why did you go in partnership with this

  704. prophet?

  705. It it stopped his destiny.

  706. I'm looking for fruit in people.

  707. I'm not going to allow anybody to speak

  708. into my life, especially if I don't know

  709. you. We're in a season where so many

  710. people are getting distracted by people

  711. giving them words that's not from God.

  712. >> And they will give it and they will say,

  713. "I'm a I'm a spiritual leader or I'm a

  714. prophet." But it will end your destiny.

  715. Who is speaking into your life? Do you

  716. know them?

  717. I've seen people, they will tell me

  718. today, "Oh, God told me this and then

  719. tomorrow, oh, God told me this and then

  720. God told me this." And I'm thinking,

  721. "God, are you confused? cuz this guy's

  722. flip-flopping

  723. and this this one said I'm going to do

  724. this and then they run after that.

  725. Where are you standing with this? Who is

  726. speaking into your life? Listen, a while

  727. back I received a few messages and uh

  728. God shared with me this thing. He said

  729. in Psalm 101:6 he says, "My innermost

    Psalms 101:6

  730. circle will only be those who I know are

  731. pure and godly. They will be the only

  732. ones I allow to minister to me.

  733. I don't allow anybody to speak into my

  734. life.

  735. You cannot allow people speak into your

  736. life that doesn't have a pure heart and

  737. a and and a and a sense of use to

  738. succeed and to win." That old prophet

  739. had no,

  740. he didn't want that young prophet to

  741. win. Why would he share that nonsense

  742. with the young prophet?

  743. Who's speaking into your life? Who are

  744. you allowing

  745. to share with you?

  746. Are you looking at the fruit?

  747. Because I'm not looking at the gift.

  748. The gift will move you the wrong way if

  749. it's not lined up with the fruit. Amen.

  750. Because jealousy might crawl in here. I

  751. was thinking that old prophet, he was

  752. from Bethl. Why didn't God use him to

  753. speak to the king? Why did he have to

  754. call another prophet from Judah to come

  755. and speak to the king? And then when

  756. this young prophet had action and signs

  757. and miracles and wonders happened,

  758. suddenly that old prophet was capable of

  759. getting his horse or his donkey and

  760. getting, you know, to to meet with that

  761. young prophet. So suddenly he left his

  762. house.

  763. Listen, be careful who speaks into your

  764. life

  765. because it will ruin your purpose if

  766. it's the wrong people, the wrong people

  767. aligning, the wrong people speaking on

  768. this journey with you. Ask God to remove

  769. them.

  770. Amen.
