Good morning.
-
Listen, before I start,
-
um, we are really privileged with the
-
worship in this church. Amen.
-
>> And I know sometimes we forget how lucky
-
we are with people singing, but I think
-
the next Sunday maybe they should invite
-
me, you know, just to do to lead the
-
chorus. And then you will re remember
-
that we have an awesome worship team. I
-
I I remember at one uh men's retreat
-
back in Africa uh I was singing a sword
-
phrase and then the leadership of the
-
men's retreat came up to me and they
-
said, "Peter, God called you to preach,
-
not to sing." So that settled it. So I'm
-
grateful for this church and the
-
worship. It's always, you know, they're
-
they're leading us into the presence of
-
God. Amen. Amen.
-
>> Before we start this morning, let's
-
pray.
-
Father God, I thank you for this day.
-
I thank you that you're a good father.
-
Father, I thank you for the privilege to
-
stand on this platform. Holy Spirit, I
-
pray that you will lead my words, that
-
you will guide me, and that I will say
-
what you want me to say. In Jesus name,
-
I pray this. Amen.
-
>> Amen.
-
>> The title of my message is stepping into
-
your destiny. Now before I want to get
-
into that, a few weeks back we were
-
blessed by a friend to go for a week to
-
Edto Beach.
-
[laughter] That sounds good. And I mean
-
that was awesome. But I had a little bit
-
of a South African experience there.
-
While we were at Edto Beach, the main
-
power supply that went into the beach,
-
there was a transformer that caught fire
-
and the electricity was off for like 7
-
hours. So that reminded me in South
-
Africa a lot of times we had load
-
shedding that's what they call it eight
-
hours or nine hours without any
-
electricity. So, I got a little bit of
-
homesick. But, but during this uh
-
experience,
-
I was looking because it was turning
-
dark and I said to Blanch, "We we need a
-
light." And I mean, my flashlight or my
-
phone because there was no power to
-
charge it was running down. And so,
-
there was no light. And I said, "Listen,
-
let's start seeking for a candle or
-
maybe there's something in this house."
-
So, eventually I got a hold of a candle.
-
It was up on a shelf and Blonde got the
-
lighter and she handed me the lighter
-
and I was trying to, you know, get that
-
uh candle going and Blanch told me, she
-
said, "Peter, just bring it down so you
-
can see." [laughter]
-
And I said, "No, I got this." And so I
-
got the light up there and I lit the
-
candle and I got the candle going and I
-
looked at the candle, but you know, when
-
I got it started up, it was burning, but
-
it was not like a real bright uh light.
-
And I took it off and I put it on the
-
coffee table and I started walking
-
towards the kitchen. And it was about 30
-
seconds after that candle was lit. It
-
suddenly went out and I walked back. I
-
got the lighter and I wanted to start
-
the the candle again. And I looked
-
inside and there was no wig. It's gone.
-
And I'm like, "What's wrong with this
-
candle?" And as I lift the candle up, I
-
realized that that was the electrical
-
candle.
-
Kudus for me getting an electrical
-
candle started with a lighter. I mean
-
that was awesome. But you know what? I
-
should have listened to Blanch in the
-
first place because he had that when I
-
felt in you know when I stuck my hand
-
into the candle I could feel that furry
-
little thing or like the wig and I
-
thought it was the wig but they had that
-
bulb that was covered in stuff. So I got
-
that bulb going but just with the wrong
-
light.
-
You know how many times
-
when we have to step into our destiny,
-
we use the wrong fire.
-
God's got a plan for you and then the
-
enemy comes and he deceives people
-
and he uses the wrong fire to lit you up
-
and you're for 30 seconds you're like,
-
"Wow, it's going." But it's not really
-
going because that was not the design
-
for the candle. Amen. Sometimes you need
-
a wife to tell you, "Hey, Peter, just
-
bring the candle down and lit it up here
-
so you can see." Because a lot of times
-
we do stuff and we're not really paying
-
attention and we're not watching what
-
we're doing. Amen. I want to start with
-
this
-
destiny. What is the meaning of destiny?
-
If I can define destiny. So many faith
-
systems defines destiny as this as a
-
divine purpose by a higher intelligence
-
to fulfill a worldly role.
-
So you have a role. There's a destiny
-
for you that you have to fulfill. And I
-
want to read the scripture for you. We
-
have become his poetry. It's in
-
Ephesians 2:10. We have become his
-
poetry. a recreated people that will
-
fulfill the destiny he has given each of
-
us.
-
For we are joined to Jesus, the anointed
-
one. Even before we were born, God
-
planned in advance our destiny. Say with
-
me, before I was born,
-
>> Before I was born,
-
>> God planned
-
>> God
-
>> in advance our destiny.
-
>> And the good work we would do to fulfill
-
it.
-
You see that when I when I go into the
-
definition of that, it says purpose. So
-
one part of destiny is purpose. You know
-
how many people I've met and if I ask
-
them why are you here? They look at me I
-
always say like a cow looking at a new
-
gate. They have this stare in their
-
eyes. They cannot they cannot tell me
-
what's their purpose.
-
If I ask you today what's your purpose?
-
Why are you here?
-
I know it's not all about donuts and
-
cookies and cream and all that stuff. We
-
are here for a purpose. Amen. And if the
-
devil can deceive you for out of your
-
purpose, you will not fulfill your
-
destiny.
-
Listen, he deceived a third of heaven.
-
They were in the presence of God. The
-
angels were created to worship God. They
-
were created as beings to fulfill
-
assignments. And then the devil came and
-
he deceived a third of heaven
-
and their purpose stopped. They were
-
cast out of heaven.
-
So the devil can deceive you too. Amen.
-
That's why we need to be banning
-
together as brothers, as a church. We
-
need to be together as a community
-
because you will not be so easily
-
deceived. Amen.
-
so that you can fulfill your role. You
-
have a role on this planet. Each and
-
every person, it says before you were
-
born, he had a destiny for you.
-
It's like this one farmer in Africa, I
-
think I've shared a long time ago, but
-
he had this Land Cruiser 4x4
-
and he lived up in South South um West
-
Africa and they were going over sand
-
dunes
-
and my friend Hendrick was with him in
-
the truck and as they were cruising
-
across the dunes, this guy had five guys
-
on the back of the the Land Cruiser. And
-
so every time they got to a sand dune,
-
when they got to the edge, he will
-
whistle and the five guys will jump off
-
of the land roand land cruiser because
-
he could not go over that that sand
-
dune. And when he whistles, they will
-
jump off and they'll push the Land
-
Cruiser over the the the last bit of the
-
dune. And so Hendrick was sitting with
-
this older gentleman and he looked at
-
what he was doing. And then he said to
-
him by the third dune, he said, "Stop.
-
Stop." And Andrew got to out of the Land
-
Cruiser and he switched the the 4x4 into
-
action. It was an older Land Cruiser and
-
he changed the gear there. And then they
-
went over the next dune and he didn't
-
had to whistle. The Land Cru cruiser
-
went over the dune and went over the
-
next dune. And so this guy looked at
-
Hendrickk and he said to Hendrick, he
-
said, "I don't know what you just did,
-
but never change that again."
-
Because this this cruiser was designed
-
to transport people through severe
-
circumstances, severe roads, but it was
-
never engaged.
-
So, it never fulfill its purpose.
-
You know how many people is never
-
engaged in their 4x4 and they're not
-
fulfilling their purpose?
-
the the assignment for that land cruiser
-
is to bring people from one place to
-
another place through bad circumstances.
-
You have a purpose and a role to
-
fulfill. And if you're not engaged,
-
you're never going to do it. If you're
-
deceived, you're never going to get to
-
it. Amen.
-
>> Purpose adds value.
-
If I call you or if I call a farmer and
-
I tell him, "Listen, I have in the back
-
of my yard, I have this big John Deere
-
8,300.
-
Will you buy it?" He will like, "Yeah,
-
yeah. If he's a if he's a guy that's
-
farming and planting, he will definitely
-
be interested if he's in, you know,
-
looking out for a tractor to to expand
-
his business." And that tractor, by
-
knowing the purpose of that tractor, it
-
will add value to that tractor. But if I
-
phone a guy and tell them that, listen,
-
there's a big chunk of green metal
-
standing in my backyard and and they ask
-
me what is it for? I said, I don't know.
-
It's just a big chunk of green metal.
-
It will have no value. But if I tell you
-
what that piece of metal is and what the
-
purpose is of that metal, it will
-
suddenly bring value forth.
-
If you're a child of God, that adds
-
value to you.
-
If the enemy can get you
-
not to know your value,
-
>> he's going to devalue you and you're
-
going to be worthless.
-
If I look at how many people are dep
-
depressed,
-
the enemy has devalued you. You feel
-
worthless.
-
You don't know you're a child of God.
-
Amen.
-
You need to be engaged and have a
-
purpose. The the next scripture that I
-
want to read is
-
in Ephesians 2 19-22.
-
That's plain enough, isn't it? You're no
-
longer wandering exile. The kingdom of
-
faith is now your home country. You're
-
no longer a stranger or an outsider. You
-
belong here with as much right to the
-
name Christian as anyone. God is
-
building a home.
-
He's using us all. Everyone sitting in
-
this room. He's using us all.
-
Irrespective of how we got here. I don't
-
care if you if you got here from Africa
-
or if you were a druggie or whatever.
-
He's using each and every one of us.
-
Amen.
-
>> And what he is building, he uses the
-
apostles and prophets for the
-
foundation. Now he's using you, fitting
-
you in brick by brick, stone by stone
-
with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone
-
that holds all the parts together.
-
Listen, if you've ever been around brick
-
layers in South Africa, we build a lot
-
of houses using bricks, but they will
-
chop that brick and cut it and then
-
they'll fit it and they'll they'll have
-
the cement keeping all the bricks
-
together. It's the same with us when
-
you're part of a church. Sometimes, you
-
know, when they hit you with that
-
trough, I don't know what you call it,
-
the truffle. Is that the thing that you
-
that one if you use that and you and you
-
cut the brick, then it you you size it
-
up. But when you're sitting in church,
-
sometimes, you know, we chop off a
-
little bit and it's not it's not that
-
pleasant. You can smile now. It's a good
-
time to smile.
-
But Jesus is the cement keeping us all
-
together and he's building a house and
-
we're all part of that. So first to
-
fulfill your destiny you need to know
-
your purpose.
-
The second part is you need to have
-
vision.
-
It doesn't help you if you have this
-
tractor but you have no vision for the
-
tractor.
-
So you need vision and you need to ask
-
God vision. If you know your purpose,
-
then you're going to need vision to
-
build on this. Amen. I want to read this
-
scripture in Jeremiah. It says
-
Jeremiah 1 11-12. It says, "Then the
-
Lord said to me, look, Jeremiah, what do
-
you see?" And I replied, "I I see a
-
branch from a almond tree."
-
And the Lord said, "That's right. And it
-
means that I am watching and I will
-
certainly carry out all my plans."
-
So God is saying to Jeremiah, he says,
-
"What do you see?" And then God knew
-
exactly what he showed Jeremiah,
-
but he wanted to hear what Jeremiah
-
experienced while he was looking at this
-
so he could know. Did Jeremiah
-
understand the vision?
-
Why would he ask him, "What do you see?"
-
You need to write your vision down and
-
maybe share it and ask God, "What's the
-
vision? What do you see?" Cuz I've I
-
remember this one guy in South Africa,
-
Ron Kushmo. He was preaching in a in a
-
church and the one guy came up to him
-
and he said to him, he said, "You know
-
what? I need uh to marry that woman. I'm
-
going God told me to divorce my wife and
-
I need to marry that woman."
-
So So Ron Kush was standing in front of
-
him and the next moment Ron Kushmal gave
-
him a slap through the face. I mean the
-
preacher hitting the the guy and he
-
looked at him and he said, "What did you
-
just do now?" He said, "Why did you do
-
that for?" And Ron Kushmal said to him,
-
he said, "Well, God told me to smack
-
you."
-
[laughter]
-
And the guy said to me, he said, "God
-
will never tell you to smack me." And he
-
and Ron looked at him, he said, "Yeah,
-
God will never tell you to divorce your
-
wife and marry that woman." You see,
-
sometimes you need to to share your
-
vision. Because I've seen people
-
[laughter]
-
that will leave their wife because
-
they're so so in their mind they're
-
thinking God is telling them that and
-
it's a lie. So you need somebody to
-
smack your cut the brick a little bit
-
smaller
-
>> to tell you listen you need to wake up.
-
>> So that's so important. Habac Habach you
-
guys say it different than me. I say
-
Habac. But two verse two says write the
-
vision down.
-
So you need to find your purpose and
-
then you need to get vision from God.
-
And how are you going to get that vision
-
from God? You're going to spend time
-
with God. You're going to ask God and
-
then you're going to start writing it
-
down
-
because you have a role to fulfill.
-
We're in a time where people need to
-
step up. It's not just a Sunday thing.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
>> I remember in South Africa at a stage I
-
was I wanted to buy corn
-
and uh the prophets. So I'm always
-
listening to what the prophetic word is
-
in South Africa were sharing that there
-
was going to be a drought in the United
-
States. So in my mind I was thinking
-
okay if there's going to be a drought
-
that was in 2017 16 somewhere there if
-
there's going to be a drought that means
-
the corn prices is going to go up in the
-
United States. And because I like
-
listening to the prophets, because I act
-
on what the prophet says, but I asked
-
God if I need to act. So this this word
-
came out. And so I asked God, I said,
-
"God, I want to buy some corn on Chicago
-
Board of Trade."
-
And uh I asked God, I said, "God, if if
-
I need to how how am I going to buy a
-
million bushels or a thousand bushels on
-
the board of Chicago Board of Trade? I
-
feel like a million bushels, but how
-
will you tell me about a million
-
bushels?
-
And as I was thinking it, it was in the
-
church during worship. As I was
-
thinking, asking God, how will I do a
-
million bushels? How will you tell me?
-
The next moment they changed the song.
-
And in African's language, it said, "And
-
the angels are standing in millions
-
around his throne." So the moment I
-
asked and they changed the song and it
-
says millions. I knew I had to do this.
-
So God gave me a date. He said a million
-
bushels. I was hedging corn on on
-
Chicago Board of Trade and uh so I
-
bought it. He gave me the date and the
-
date that I bought the corn was the
-
lowest price in two years on the market.
-
So I bought the corn and then in the
-
first week on the million bushels I made
-
a lot of money and I mean a lot of money
-
and I got so excited I said to Blan
-
we're going to be so rich. I mean this
-
is something personal that I do on the
-
side. It was not part of the farming
-
fund. It was my own personal funding and
-
I said, "Listen, I'm going to get into
-
this." So, I bought another We ended up
-
with 3 and a2 million bushels of corn on
-
on Chicago Board of Trade and I was
-
like, "Man, the money is just coming.
-
Look at this." But God told me two weeks
-
and I need to be out of the market. And
-
I was like, "Man, if I can go another
-
two weeks, I'm going to retire. I'm
-
never going to work again with the way
-
this is going." And I remember that one
-
night I was sitting and and the markets
-
it works in in the US. you can get out
-
of Chicago Board of Trade during the
-
night, but if you're from a different
-
country and you're investing into the
-
Chicago Board of Trade, when that uh
-
5:00 when it closes in South Africa, I
-
cannot get on that board of trade till
-
the next morning. And that night of the
-
third week,
-
the corn turned against me and I was
-
watching it the whole night till 9:00
-
that next morning. I lost all the money
-
that I made and I lost a lot of money
-
that I invested into that. And man was I
-
crying and I was weeping. I was like,
-
"Man, God, I listen to you and you told
-
me and and I was just so upset." And I
-
mean it it it you know when somebody
-
touches your money it's hard. [laughter]
-
Yeah. Some of you know you felt that. So
-
I'm sitting there and I I found this one
-
prophetic friend of mine. I said,
-
"Andre, I said listen, can you believe
-
this happened?" You [laughter] know that
-
old story myself face on. And he said to
-
me, "Peter, tell me what happened." I
-
said, "Well, God told me to buy. He told
-
me to sell two weeks." Uh, and he told
-
me to buy a million bushels. And he
-
said, "Okay, okay. Whoa, whoa, whoa.
-
You're on 3.6 million bushels. You're
-
four weeks in the market. What did you
-
do?" I was like, "Man, it was so it was
-
so making money. It was so good."
-
[laughter]
-
And he said, "Peter, the Bible says
-
don't add anything and don't take
-
anything away that God gave you." You
-
see in vision you need to start writing
-
your vision down because the moment
-
money will dist distract you. If you
-
don't have that vision written down and
-
you suddenly have the boat and the plane
-
and the house and all that stuff, it's
-
going to draw your attention away from
-
God. I did not write it down and I did
-
not stick to my vision and it burned my
-
fingers.
-
If you want to fulfill your destiny and
-
God gives you a vision, you need to
-
write it down and say, "God, you told me
-
this because I don't want to get
-
distracted." Amen.
-
The next one.
-
So, first you need purpose and then you
-
need vision, but then you need to step
-
into action. Jeremiah 1:17 says, "Get up
-
and prepare for action. Go out and tell
-
them everything I tell you to say. Do
-
not be afraid of them or I will make you
-
look foolish in front of them. You know
-
how many people I've I've seen that will
-
tell me, listen, God told me this and
-
they never did anything with that word.
-
I've seen it so many times. People will
-
share, oh man, God told me this and if I
-
only responded to that, I would have
-
seen the fruit, but I there was a
-
reason. Maybe I was too scared or I had
-
no action.
-
Are you in action when God speaks or are
-
you rethinking it?
-
When he gives you a word
-
that that word pass and then you wait
-
for another word, flying to another
-
prophet to give you that same word and
-
then another prophet and by the fifth
-
time you're you're still not engaging
-
into that prophetic word.
-
What is God speaking to you?
-
What is he speaking to you about your
-
business?
-
Are you in action or is it just about
-
you?
-
Because he says in that scripture, he
-
says, "Do not be afraid."
-
So action
-
sometimes challenge you because he will
-
not add there don't be afraid if it's
-
not going to challenge you.
-
I remember when I got saved, there was
-
this I was in the grocery store buying
-
some groceries one day and the kids were
-
all in boarding school and I'm walking
-
in this grocery store and there's
-
there's an old lady that came past me
-
and my my grocery trolley shopping cart
-
was filled to the full because I have
-
four kids and and when they get back
-
from boarding school they're hungry
-
especially if they're there for a week.
-
And so I bought all this groceries and
-
this old lady walked past me. She looked
-
at me and she said, "I'm glad I don't
-
have to pay for that shopping cart." I'm
-
like, "Ma'am, kids boarding school. I
-
have to buy a lot of food." So, I'm
-
busy. And as I was finishing up in the
-
in the shopping, you know, in this um
-
grocery store, the lady was standing
-
right in front of me at the counter
-
where we have to pay. And God started
-
speaking to me. He said, "Peter, you
-
need to to pay for that lady's shopping
-
cart." [laughter] I looked I was for a
-
minute there. I was looking at it and I
-
looked at her shopping cart and it was
-
full of magazines.
-
And I was like, "Man, I'm not doing
-
that. I'm God. If she's hungry, I can
-
understand. I mean, if you need food, I
-
I will pay for the food." But there's
-
like 20 magazines and you guys, you know
-
what the magazine cost in this? You
-
know, it's they're expensive. I'm like,
-
"God, I'm not paying for magazines." So,
-
I'm standing there and and I and I I'm
-
not going to do this. And then the lady
-
I mean, now I'm I'm I'm trying to get
-
myself out of this deal.
-
You know, you've [laughter] you've been
-
there, too. You know that action that
-
you need to take. So, I'm standing there
-
and I'm thinking, "Okay." And she pulled
-
out her wallet and then she she took out
-
a card. Now, if you have a private
-
banking card, I know you have money cuz
-
you have a private banking card. that
-
means there's money in the bank. So, she
-
pulls out that card and I'm like, "Yeah,
-
you see God, I don't have to pay for
-
this. She's got a private banker. She
-
doesn't need my money and not for
-
magazines."
-
So, as I'm standing and negotiating with
-
God why I should or should not go into
-
action, I realized I'm going to be
-
disobedient to the Lord. And so, she had
-
the card at the cashier, the guy in
-
South Africa. It's not like you swipe it
-
and and then you take it, you give it,
-
you hand it to the cashier and he'll
-
swipe it for you. So, she handed her
-
card to the cashier and I walked over
-
and I grabbed the card from the cashier.
-
Now, in South Africa, you should think
-
twice about that because you it might be
-
somebody that wants to take advantage of
-
your card. So, I took the card and I
-
hand it back to the lady and I said,
-
"Ma'am, God spoke to me. He said, "I
-
need to pay for this." And that old
-
lady, she started weeping right there in
-
the supermarket or in the grocery store.
-
And she grabbed a hold of me. She said,
-
"You know what? I have no children. I
-
lost my husband 10 years ago. I'm the
-
only one of my whole family left on this
-
earth." And this morning, I was
-
thinking, "God, did you forget about me?
-
You don't even know that I exist."
-
And she was just weeping. She said, "I
-
know God did not forget about me." I
-
mean, the the cashier came out behind
-
and she was weeping. It was just snot
-
and tears all over us.
-
But you know what? When I walked out of
-
that store, I was so grateful that I
-
stepped into action
-
out of my comfort zone and touched that
-
lady. I could have missed out on that
-
whole thing where God wanted to say to
-
that old lady and then it made sense.
-
The books was not it was to she's alone.
-
She's got no nothing else. So she was
-
reading. But you see, in my mind, it
-
was, "Oh, you're wasting. You should buy
-
food and not books." You see, God knows
-
it all. But we have to walk out our
-
destiny. And we have to step into action
-
because we are a church of action. Amen.
-
>> We're not here for the pancakes and the
-
donuts. We enjoy that, too. It's good. I
-
mean, the the store out here is good.
-
But we know we are purpose-driven
-
people. We are people that's motivated
-
by God. and we're stepping into action
-
and we're going to fulfill our destiny.
-
Amen.
-
[applause]
-
>> Praise God for that.
-
The the the fourth one I want to speak
-
about is partnerships. And I'm not going
-
to go through this scripture. It's too
-
long, but you can go and read it at
-
home. 1 Kings 13, it talks about the old
-
prophet and the young prophet.
-
So in this season it's very important
-
who are you aligning with and who is
-
your partnerships that you are forming.
-
So this young prophet was sent from
-
Judah to Bethl to go and give a
-
prophetic word to the king. And as the
-
king was standing at the altar, he gave
-
a prophetic word. And it seems like the
-
king wasn't happy with this word because
-
he tried to grab the prophet. And then
-
the c when he stuck his hand out towards
-
the prophet, he suddenly his hand became
-
crooked. But the altar cracked in two
-
and the ashes fell to the ground exactly
-
as the prophet the young prophet told
-
the king what's going to happen. And
-
after the king's hand went crooked, he
-
asked the young prophet to pray for him.
-
And so this mean king that wanted to
-
grab him suddenly, you know, he had an
-
attitude change.
-
Sometimes we get an attitude change when
-
we we trying to get to somebody and then
-
God touches us. Amen. Then we change our
-
attitude. But anyway, so this king asked
-
for prayer and then after his hand got
-
healed again, he said to the young
-
prophet, he said, "Listen, come to my
-
house. I have some gifts for you." and
-
and and and and the young prophet said
-
to me, he said, "I don't want your
-
gifts. I don't I don't care even if you
-
give me half of what you own. I don't
-
want that because God told me, I need to
-
give the word and then I need to leave
-
the country."
-
And so the young prophet left. I'm so
-
grateful he wasn't moved by money. He
-
wasn't moved by things. He was moved by
-
the word of God.
-
But then later on as he was leaving
-
Bethl, another prophet came up to him
-
and said to him, "Listen, I have a new
-
word for you.
-
God told me you need to stay and you
-
need to eat with me." And because he
-
said he was a prophet, but the Bible
-
says he lied to the young prophet, this
-
old prophet. Because he lied and the
-
young prophet stayed and he ate with
-
him, a lion got a hold of the young
-
prophet and his destiny stopped there.
-
Listen, I want to tell you today,
-
I was thinking, young prophet, why did
-
you do that and listen to that old
-
prophet? You don't know him. You don't
-
know him from nowhere because he had to
-
introduce you him to you and tell you
-
that he was a prophet.
-
Why did you go in partnership with this
-
prophet?
-
It it stopped his destiny.
-
I'm looking for fruit in people.
-
I'm not going to allow anybody to speak
-
into my life, especially if I don't know
-
you. We're in a season where so many
-
people are getting distracted by people
-
giving them words that's not from God.
-
>> And they will give it and they will say,
-
"I'm a I'm a spiritual leader or I'm a
-
prophet." But it will end your destiny.
-
Who is speaking into your life? Do you
-
know them?
-
I've seen people, they will tell me
-
today, "Oh, God told me this and then
-
tomorrow, oh, God told me this and then
-
God told me this." And I'm thinking,
-
"God, are you confused? cuz this guy's
-
flip-flopping
-
and this this one said I'm going to do
-
this and then they run after that.
-
Where are you standing with this? Who is
-
speaking into your life? Listen, a while
-
back I received a few messages and uh
-
God shared with me this thing. He said
-
in Psalm 101:6 he says, "My innermost
-
circle will only be those who I know are
-
pure and godly. They will be the only
-
ones I allow to minister to me.
-
I don't allow anybody to speak into my
-
life.
-
You cannot allow people speak into your
-
life that doesn't have a pure heart and
-
a and and a and a sense of use to
-
succeed and to win." That old prophet
-
had no,
-
he didn't want that young prophet to
-
win. Why would he share that nonsense
-
with the young prophet?
-
Who's speaking into your life? Who are
-
you allowing
-
to share with you?
-
Are you looking at the fruit?
-
Because I'm not looking at the gift.
-
The gift will move you the wrong way if
-
it's not lined up with the fruit. Amen.
-
Because jealousy might crawl in here. I
-
was thinking that old prophet, he was
-
from Bethl. Why didn't God use him to
-
speak to the king? Why did he have to
-
call another prophet from Judah to come
-
and speak to the king? And then when
-
this young prophet had action and signs
-
and miracles and wonders happened,
-
suddenly that old prophet was capable of
-
getting his horse or his donkey and
-
getting, you know, to to meet with that
-
young prophet. So suddenly he left his
-
house.
-
Listen, be careful who speaks into your
-
life
-
because it will ruin your purpose if
-
it's the wrong people, the wrong people
-
aligning, the wrong people speaking on
-
this journey with you. Ask God to remove
-
them.
-
Amen.
