  1. This is a good place, good place to be.

  2. Our wolves are in eastern Washington. It's their legacy weekend,

  3. so we bless them, and they're having a good time,

  4. and they're having fun. I'm just going to get going.

  5. I'm just going to pray. Lord Jesus, I just thank

  6. you so much. I thank you for your love shed

  7. abroad for every person, every person on this planet, and

  8. I just ask that let us just run into your light.

  9. Let us run into it. Let us just stay there.

  10. Let us camp there. Let us just be the place

  11. where we reside. We just thank you for your great

  12. love poured out for us. Amen. So some time ago,

  13. Pastor Dwayne had an idea. His idea was he liked

  14. kind of like the Charlie Kirk debate. How do you

  15. bring a biblical worldview into modern day culture? And so

  16. my message this morning is going to be one in

  17. line with that, okay? So taking biblical worldview and applying

  18. that to modern-day culture. So the title is going to

  19. be called Combating Communism. It could also be titled Uncovering

  20. Socialism or Combating Collectivism, okay? And before we get started,

  21. just do a declaration with me. Say, I have the

  22. mind of Christ. Okay? Our church has the mind of Christ.

  23. So I'm going to have you put up my first

  24. slide that says socialism. So I've got a lot to

  25. unpack here, and so I'm just going to read kind

  26. of quick. I'm going to give you the definitions of

  27. some things, and we're going to look at some scriptures.

  28. So socialism generally refers to an economic or social system

  29. in which the means of.

  30. Production, factories, land... Natural.

  31. Resources tools are owned or regulated collectively by the state,

  32. workers' cooperatives, or the community rather than by private individuals

  33. for profit.

  34. Core principles of socialism are.

  35. Reducing economic inequality through wealth redistribution, progressive taxation, And welfare

  36. programs are an expression or example of this. Prioritizing social welfare,

  37. public services, so healthcare, education, housing, and workers' rights over

  38. market competition, okay? And the next slide, I'm gonna chat

  39. with you a little bit about communism because they're really,

  40. really simple.

  41. So next slide. Next slide.

  42. So communism is like socialism with teeth in it. So

  43. communism is a more radical ideology envisioning a classless, stateless,

  44. moneyless society where the means of production are owned in

  45. common by all the members of the society. And goods

  46. are distributed based on need. Say, based on need.

  47. Core principles.

  48. So core principles of communism are that they draw from

  49. Karl Marx, which we don't have time for, but it's

  50. the abolition of private property in the means of production.

  51. It's the elimination of social classes, the state, which withers

  52. away after a transitional period, and exploitation. This is a

  53. common phrase used in communism. From each according to their ability,

  54. to each according to their needs. A fully egalitarian society

  55. after capitalism is overthrown. After capitalism is overthrown. So both

  56. socialism and communism are systems where we have to overthrow

  57. capitalism or deteriorate the system to then... apply those perspectives

  58. to the people that are.

  59. Being governed, if that makes sense.

  60. And so at the end, when it said an egalitarian society,

  61. you might be thinking, well, what is an egalitarian society?

  62. I'm going to describe that in the next slide. An

  63. egalitarian society is the belief in human equality, which is

  64. a good thing, right?

  65. Human equality.

  66. That was what the Declaration of Independence was. We believe

  67. these rights so that every single person has inalienable rights

  68. that God bestowed upon them because they're built in the

  69. image and likeness of him. This was the founders of

  70. our nation in 1776. So they believe in human equality,

  71. particularly in social, political, and economic affairs.

  72. It advocates the removing.

  73. Of inequalities among people and promoting equal worth, rights, and treatment.

  74. Equal access to all resources. Say that after me.

  75. Equal access to all resources. That is egalitarianism, okay? And

  76. you might be thinking, well, why am I expressing what

  77. those things are? I want to share a scripture verse

  78. with you and it's because I think that sometimes if

  79. we know the word of God, we sometimes can get

  80. a perspective on a spirit of the day or a

  81. perspective on the day that may be in contradiction to

  82. what God actually has to say, okay? So this is

  83. Matthew 25, 14 through 30. I'm going to be like

  84. reading a bunch right now and I'm going to like

  85. just power through it, okay? and we're going to just

  86. halt in certain spots. For it is just like a

  87. man about to go on a journey who called his

  88. own slaves and entrusted his possessions to them. To one

  89. he gave five talents, to another two, to another one,

  90. each according to his own ability.

  91. And he went on his journey.

  92. The one who'd received five talents immediately went and did

  93. business with them, and earned five more talents. In the

  94. same way, the one who'd received the two talents earned

  95. two more. But he who received the one talent went away,

  96. dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master's money.

  97. Now after a long time, the master of those slaves

  98. came and settled accounts with them. The one who'd received

  99. the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying, Master,

  100. you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have earned

  101. five more talents. His master said to him, well done,

  102. good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things.

  103. I will put you in charge of many things. Say

  104. many things. Enter the joy of your master. Think about

  105. that term, enter the joy of your master. We're going

  106. to kind of come back to that in just a

  107. little bit. And the one who'd received two talents came

  108. up and said, master, you have entrusted two talents to me. See,

  109. I have earned two more. His master said to him,

  110. well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with

  111. a few things. I will put you in charge of

  112. many things. Enter the joy of your master. Are you

  113. noticing it's the exact same phraseology? Now the one who'd

  114. received one talent also came up and said, Master, I

  115. knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you

  116. did not sow and gathering where you did not scatter seed.

  117. And I was afraid, so I went away, hid your

  118. talent in the ground. See, you still have what's yours.

  119. But his master answered him and said to him, You worthless,

  120. lazy slave. That's not a good thing you want to

  121. hear from the master, right?

  122. He said, did you not know that I weep where

  123. I did not sow and gather where I did not

  124. scatter seed? Then you ought to have brought my money

  125. back and put it in the bank, and I would

  126. have earned interest on it upon my arrival. Therefore, take

  127. the talent away from him and give it to the

  128. one who has ten talents. For to everyone who has,

  129. more shall be given. And.

  130. But for the one who does not have, even what

  131. he does have shall be taken away. And throw the

  132. worthless slave into the outer darkness. In that place there

  133. will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

  134. We don't have time for it now.

  135. But if you were to go study Luke 19, verses

    Luke 19:11–27

  136. 11 through 27, it is the parable of the minas.

  137. The parable of the minas and the parable of the

  138. talents are nearly identical. Okay? Okay? Same thing, God entrusted

  139. them with something. What they did with it changed God's

  140. response and then also determined what he was going to

  141. do next in giving them more, okay? In the parable

  142. of the Minas, he actually went to the one who

  143. had 10 cities and he actually said, I'm going to,

  144. or said to the one who he had given 10

  145. things to, he said, I'm actually gonna give you 10

  146. cities to actually administrate or manage now. So, like, what

  147. we see in these two parables is that God is very,

  148. very aware of what we do with what he entrusts

  149. us with.

  150. Very aware.

  151. And if I was to read you Luke 16.10, the

  152. one who is faithful in a very little thing is

  153. also faithful in much. And the one who is unrighteous

  154. in a very little thing is also unrighteous in much.

  155. God does not give... equally to all.

  156. We position ourselves for receiving based upon our faithfulness. If

  157. you just looked back at the egalitarian communism and socialism

  158. slides that we had, which we're not going to go

  159. back to, what you would see is that in all

  160. of those slides, the concept is that things are distributed,

  161. resources are distributed based upon need. But when you look

  162. through the scriptures, what you see is God actually doesn't

  163. distribute in that way.

  164. God doesn't distribute in that way.

  165. I believe that socialism has actually worked itself, this concept

  166. of egalitarian and communism, it's actually worked itself so, so

  167. prevalently within our society today that We almost don't even,

  168. it's so commonplace that we almost have a tough time

  169. recognizing it.

  170. What do I mean?

  171. I actually think that there's a spirit of entitlement that's

  172. at work in culture today that at its under root

  173. foundational level, the root that creates that spirit of entitlement

  174. is actually pride. It's look at me, I'm so valuable.

  175. That means you need to give me this, that, and

  176. the other right now. I am entitled to it. How

  177. dare you not do for me what I'm telling you

  178. you need to do right now?

  179. What is that? That's a spirit of entitlement and it's

  180. fueled by pride. Does that make sense?

  181. What I'm going to share with you is egalitarianism is

  182. that in governmental function.

  183. What do I mean?

  184. If God doesn't distribute equally Based upon need, but he

  185. does it based upon faithfulness in the parable of the minas,

  186. in the parable of the talents.

  187. Guess what he does today? The exact same thing.

  188. And the question, what do you need to give me

  189. and what do you owe me.

  190. Is the wrong question to ask.

  191. The right question to ask is, Lord, what did I

  192. do last with what you gave to me and what

  193. you entrusted me with? Amen. What did I do last

  194. with that? Did I pick it up and did I

  195. work with it like you wanted me to? Am I

  196. faithful for something else? Do you see what I'm talking about?

  197. There's a biblical worldview and then there's a spirit of

  198. the day. And those two things may not be the same.

  199. And I'm going to share with you that they're definitely

  200. not in right now what's going on.

  201. I used to work in a job where we.

  202. Were part of a union, and with that union, if

  203. you signed on for the job, you would get paid for,

  204. let's say, eight hours if we were driving cars off

  205. of ships.

  206. You would get paid for eight hours.

  207. And if you could get it done in three or

  208. four and just work really fast, what would happen is

  209. you go home to lunch, and you don't have to

  210. come back. Like, you still get paid, okay? This was

  211. just the way that structures were set up. And what

  212. ended up happening is on days where it looked like

  213. the job might take four hours, everybody would crank it out,

  214. work really, really fast. And then what would happen is

  215. you'd get to go home at lunch and not return,

  216. get paid for eight hours. But then what would happen

  217. is if it looked like a job might actually take

  218. eight hours or even seven, this conversation would happen. There

  219. was even a motto created for it. The motto was

  220. work slow for more dough. So people would actually say, hey,

  221. let's all slow it down so that it'll take more

  222. than eight hours. Because if you worked like seven minutes after,

  223. you got paid for another half hour. And if you

  224. worked so many minutes after, you got paid for another hour.

  225. And people mastered the capacity of doing this. You work

  226. really fast. If you can go home early, you work

  227. really slow if it looks like it's actually going to

  228. take the full length of the job. I was not

  229. even a believer at this phase in my life. And

  230. it drove me crazy because I'm like.

  231. These people are stealing from their employer. This isn't right.

  232. This is theft.

  233. And I know nobody in here would do something like that,

  234. but how many people have padded their hours at work?

  235. How many people have taken the stapler home? How many

  236. people during COVID when no toilet paper was available actually

  237. took it from their employer? Um, I have a business

  238. and there's like six of us that are in there.

  239. And what happened is during COVID, all of our toilet

  240. paper was disappearing.

  241. And it's like, there's only so many of us here.

  242. Like it has to be one of us.

  243. I'm going to tell you that I actually, at one point,

  244. I ended up firing an employee.

  245. I fired the employee because they.

  246. Were being dishonest and they were doing all kinds of

  247. things when they should have been working, but they weren't working.

  248. And so another employee, which is a faithful servant, they

  249. screenshotted 37 pages of all the stuff that the person

  250. should not have been doing while I was paying them.

  251. And so I fired them.

  252. I brought them into a room. We sat down.

  253. We let them know, hey, can you tell me about this?

  254. They were like, I don't know anything about that. Well,

  255. what about this?

  256. Then they cry. It's like, you know what?

  257. We've already given you multiple chances, so today's going to

  258. be your final day.

  259. Let's grab the box and put your stuff in it.

  260. And what happened is they actually went so far as

  261. to contact the Washington State Employment Security Division and claim

  262. they were wrongfully terminated. And a judge saw over it

  263. and he said, nope, that was a correct termination. And

  264. they appealed it. And after the second appeal and another judge,

  265. the judge was like, no, they should have been terminated.

  266. And then they hired a legal group for the third appeal.

  267. On the third appeal, the beauty was the judge actually

  268. kind of slapped him around a bit, rebuking them for

  269. the fact that we went through what we went through.

  270. And what I'm sharing with you is that it seems

  271. to be the culture today that everybody has this work-life

  272. balance concept. How many people have heard that term, work-life balance?

  273. You should have a vacation and you should have time

  274. for your family. But people today have adopted a worldview

  275. that would suggest that I'm entitled to a work-life balance

  276. and because I'm entitled to it by my pride, And

  277. that means you need to pay for that. That means

  278. I should be earning six figures and I only want

  279. to work 20 hours a week so that I have

  280. enough time for my entertainment. And if I fudge my hours,

  281. that's not a problem at all because I'm entitled to

  282. my work-life balance.

  283. I want to read, wrong view, yeah.

  284. I want to read some scriptures to you. Proverbs, I'm

  285. going to read like five scriptures. We're going to do

  286. this rapid fire. Bless you for those online, because I'm

  287. doing rapid fire. It's tough when we do rapid fire.

  288. Proverbs 23, 21.

  289. For the heavy drinker and the glutton will come to poverty,

  290. and drowsiness will clothe one with rags.

  291. Say that again. What clothes one with rags? Drowsiness. Proverbs 12, 27.

  292. The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent

  293. feed on the riches of the hunt.

  294. Proverbs 12, 24.

  295. Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor.

  296. Laziness ends in forced labor. That doesn't sound fun.

  297. To me. Proverbs 12, 11. Sorry, Albert. Those who work

  298. their land will have abundant food. Say that.

  299. Those who work their land will have abundant food. But

  300. those who chase fantasies have no sense. I'm going to

  301. share with you, I think that there's actually a lot

  302. of people today who are not actively working their land

  303. and so they're not experiencing abundant food. But what happens

  304. is they're chasing fantasies. Maybe they're playing video games in

  305. the basement. Maybe they're doom scrolling all day. Maybe their

  306. lifestyle is entertainment alone. And maybe they're smoking weed and

  307. still living in their.

  308. Parents' basement.

  309. What I'm going to tell you, I'm not, I'm like

  310. being dead serious here. What I'm here to tell you

  311. is that there's a whole lot of people who are

  312. not experiencing abundant provision because they're not working their land.

  313. And the Lord says, you're to work your land. And

  314. if you don't do that, you're going to be without. Listen,

  315. if you think that this is all like Old Testament,

  316. here's the New Testament, Ephesians.

  317. 4, 28.

  318. Anyone who's been stealing must steal no longer.

  319. Say steal no longer.

  320. Not toilet paper, not staplers, not hours on your time card,

  321. not work slow for Mordeaux?

  322. No, I'm serious. What do you think the Lord thinks

  323. about this stuff?

  324. Anyone who's been stealing must steal no longer, but must work.

  325. Doing something useful with their own hands that they may

  326. have something to share with.

  327. Those in need.

  328. Do you know you're working with your hands isn't just

  329. for your own provision and your own family's provision? It's

  330. so that you can support those in need. Who's supposed

  331. to be supporting those in need?

  332. The church. The church. not the government, the church.

  333. But when they come to the church to get the

  334. food or the need met, what happens is that the

  335. church can actually train them up, raise them up, teach

  336. them what they need to know so that they will

  337. not stay in a place of what I'm gonna call self-harm.

  338. Do you know that if I have a drug addiction

  339. problem or if I'm smoking weed, watching video games all

  340. day and I'm in need, what I don't need is

  341. the government to give me more money.

  342. What I need is someone to coach.

  343. Me in how to work diligently and labor with my hands,

  344. not only to produce for myself and my family, but

  345. for those that are in need.

  346. Does that make sense?

  347. Because what you're going to get when you come to

  348. the house of God isn't just a handout. You're going

  349. to get the methodology for how to accumulate wealth and

  350. how to become prosperous. Socialism hides itself with compassion for others,

  351. but is truly about self.

  352. You owe me.

  353. You better give me. I deserve X, Y, and Z.

  354. not what it can give to another. Socialism is not

  355. about what it can give to another.

  356. Neither is communism. Neither is egalitarianism. It's all about give

  357. me what's mine.

  358. And as long as the government is giving me what

  359. I want and I'm getting what I think is mine,

  360. then I'm happy to elect people or put people in

  361. positions who give me what's mine because I'm entitled and

  362. I'm prideful. We have a consumer society today rather than

  363. a contributor society.

  364. God called us to be contributors.

  365. We're here to make the world a better place, to

  366. make your life better, to create situations for the future

  367. people that will come after us that will allow for

  368. them to prosper. It is not about our self-aggrandizement. We

  369. have a consumer society. Everything's about me, me, me, and me,

  370. and more me. This is the culture of the.

  371. Day that we live in.

  372. I have watched people retire and go around cruises around

  373. the globe.

  374. Did you know you can stay on a cruise ship

  375. for three, four months, even a year? Did you know that?

  376. And it costs a lot of money. Here's what I'm

  377. going to tell you.

  378. I've watched people come back from those, and do you

  379. know they are not happy?

  380. They are not fulfilled.

  381. Why? Why? Because humanity cannot find self-fulfillment in self-aggrandizement. They

  382. only find self-fulfillment in loyalty and servanthood to the king.

  383. 1 Peter 1.18. For you know that it was not

  384. with perishable things such as gold or silver that you

  385. were redeemed from the empty way of life. Say empty

  386. way of life. That was handed down to you from

  387. your ancestors. There's an empty way of life that's trying

  388. to be handed down to Americans, and they're buying it.

  389. They're picking it up.

  390. And it's fake news. It doesn't work.

  391. For this is the message that I have come to

  392. give to you, that I've heard and declared to you,

  393. that God is light. In him, there is no darkness

  394. at all. And if I claim to have fellowship but

  395. walk in the darkness, I lie to myself, I deceive myself,

  396. and I'm not walking out or abiding in the truth.

  397. But if I will walk in the light as he

  398. is in the light because I have covenant with him,

  399. then he is faithful to purify me and cleanse me

  400. I believe that the Lord wants to purify and cleanse

  401. this entitlement mindset right out of us. Because it's rooted

  402. in pride. And he has a very difficult time working

  403. with humans when we're rooted in pride. Because he has

  404. a kingdom he wants to expand. And if I'm all

  405. about me, me, me, me, me, guess what I'm not about?

  406. His kingdom.

  407. Many Christians today are actually voting based upon this social

  408. justice equality message, and it's completely unbiblical.

  409. It's anti-biblical. God does not give equally to all.

  410. He gives to us based upon our faithfulness with the

  411. last thing he entrusted us with. Deuteronomy 8.18, I'm going

  412. to be speeding up here. I'm going to be going

  413. a few minutes over with how we, yeah. But you

  414. are to remember the Lord your God, for it is

  415. he who is giving you power to make wealth in

  416. order to confirm his covenant, which he swore to your

  417. forefathers as it is this day. Does God guarantee you wealth? No.

  418. He says he gives you the power to make it.

  419. By a co-laboring, oh yeah, by a co-ambassadorship, by an

  420. abiding in him, by a running to the light and

  421. staying in the light, staying camped in the light, by

  422. covenant with the light, that's how he does this. I

  423. want to share with you a brief story, and I

  424. need to tell you this. Stewarding what is another man's

  425. when it's entrusted to you, qualifies you to have something

  426. worth stewarding yourself. My best friend is usually down here.

  427. We have a lot of our leaders gone this weekend

  428. for family things, which is good.

  429. Family's good.

  430. But my good friend Joe Sims is not here right now,

  431. but one of the things I'll tell you about him

  432. is God's prospered him. I'm gonna tell you one of

  433. the reasons and I can see it on his life

  434. in all the years I've known him. The reason why

  435. God has prospered him is because he understands he's been

  436. faithful with what another man entrusted him with. I've watched

  437. him here being an armor bearer at the church. I've

  438. watched him do it in business. He armor bared in business.

  439. That is why God prospered him because another man entrusted

  440. him with something and he didn't buck authority. People today,

  441. there's a blessing of God that's supposed to be bestowed

  442. upon the people of God that the people of God

  443. are missing out on because they won't.

  444. Sit under authority.

  445. It's the independent spirit that will not allow someone to

  446. sit under authority. And you can move yourself right out

  447. of a blessing if he called you to camp under

  448. another man.

  449. I have experienced this.

  450. Years ago, I served a man faithfully leading this group

  451. of doctors. And after 47 years of practice, he ended

  452. up passing. But before he did, he said to me,

  453. he said, you're the one to carry this on. He

  454. didn't say that because I showed up at the last

  455. minute and said, hey, I'd like to have more responsibility.

  456. He did it because I faithfully served him for years

  457. and years and years. He instilled things in me that

  458. other people never got instilled. And it made me worthy

  459. to carry on the thing, the mantle he used to carry.

  460. I would have removed myself from that blessing if I

  461. let my pride come up and not serve him. This

  462. is huge in the body of Christ today. Nobody can

  463. serve anybody. Like everybody's got this like, I'm the top

  464. and I'm... No, we need to submit to authority because

  465. that's where God's hand of blessing flows. Servanthood, not entitlement,

  466. qualifies you to lead and for God to be able

  467. to give you something.

  468. Did you hear that?

  469. Servanthood and not entitlement. There's a global move towards collectivism

  470. where you won't own a home.

  471. You won't own property.

  472. The government will supply all of your food and housing.

  473. This is what's pervasive out there right now. It's going

  474. on all over the globe. However, what they don't tell

  475. you is they also get to tell you what you

  476. get to do, what you get to think, and where

  477. you get to go. You subject yourself to something. I'm

  478. probably going to offend somebody in here right now. But socialism, communism,

  479. and Marxism are doctrines of demons. Entitlement has actually woven

  480. itself into America and into much of the church, where

  481. the church is actually partnering with doctrines of demons in

  482. the unclean realm.

  483. We got to get the gunk out.

  484. We got to not participate with things that are in

  485. contradiction to God and his word and his ways and

  486. how he works. You don't want to partner with the

  487. spirit of entitlement because you move yourself right out of

  488. his blessing. Venezuela was a mostly capitalist nation. 1950s through

  489. the 1990s, with private enterprise and oil-driven growth, it had

  490. Latin America's highest living standards.

  491. Say highest living standards.

  492. The shift towards socialism ramped up after Hugo Chavez's election

  493. in 1998 with major nationalizations, price controls, and expanded state

  494. control in the 2000s.

  495. It collapsed. Say collapsed. Collapsed.

  496. In 2014 under Maduro, with hyperinflation, mass immigration, extreme poverty

  497. hitting over 80% at its worst. That's socialism for you.

  498. So if you're being told at school, socialism's great, now

  499. think again. You're being lied to. Here's communism for you.

  500. For Lenin, from 1917 to 1924, Total excess deaths under

  501. him are in the 5 to 8 million range by

  502. executions and famine. And if that's not enough communism, here's

  503. more communism. For Stalin, from the late 1920s to 1953,

  504. archives show that 6 to 9 million deaths were from

  505. direct repression, 800,000 executions, 1.7 million people were in the gulags,

  506. Hundreds of thousands of people were deported. Seven million died

  507. in 1932 and 1933 from a famine. And the total

  508. estimates for all mortality, excess mortality, beyond just like humans

  509. living out their life expectancy, for Stalin are 15 to

  510. 20 million people.

  511. This is Mao in China. China.

  512. Mao's rule from 1949 to 1976 had catastrophic human consequences

  513. for China. Total SS deaths under Mao are estimated in

  514. the 40 to 70 million range.

  515. Communism, China, Mao.

  516. There is probably no single more destructive force that's ever

  517. impacted humanity other than saying yes to the blood and

  518. gospel of Jesus Christ than the adoption of socialism, communism, egalitarianism,

  519. and Marxism. There's literally no things that have caused more

  520. harm to all of humanity than these things.

  521. And if we as the church and we as Americans.

  522. Today can't wake up and realize that this is a

  523. doctrine of demons in complete opposition to God and his

  524. word and his ways, then we're going to see our

  525. nation be massively harmed, which means your kids and your

  526. grandkids are gonna be harmed. We need to spread the

  527. truth about these narratives that are fake. People are going

  528. to school every day and they're being told socialism's great.

  529. Communism's great.

  530. Tell me about 40, 70 million people under one leader's

  531. rule who've been killed.

  532. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?

  533. We have such a level of unawareness of actual truth

  534. and history that people are going to be harmed if

  535. they don't wake up. Here's one of the challenging things.

  536. Marxism requires that there be an oppressor and an oppressed group.

  537. So One group's the oppressor, one group is the oppressed.

  538. Does that make sense? And the idea is that you

  539. have to divide everybody into factions and you have to

  540. make them an oppressed group, okay? So your faction's an

  541. oppressed group and your faction is an oppressed group. And

  542. we need to get you all hating one another because

  543. you're entitled to something. And nobody's giving you what you want,

  544. your pride's rising up. And so then what happens is

  545. now your groups are fighting. And what we do is

  546. we get all the groups to fight and then we

  547. overthrow the system. That is the only way capitalism goes away, people,

  548. is if oppressor and oppressed groups can be aligned with

  549. by the populace.

  550. And do you know why you don't align as an.

  551. Oppressor or oppressed group? Because you're an overcomer in Christ.

  552. How can you be an oppressed group when you're an

  553. overcomer in Christ? If he gives you the victory and

  554. spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him and

  555. 2 Corinthians, or 1 Corinthians 2.14, 1 Corinthians 15.57, if

  556. he gives you the victory everywhere you put your foot,

  557. then how could you be part of an oppressed group?

  558. You can't do it.

  559. It's the antithesis of the gospel to align with being oppressed.

  560. People are buying into something right now that is going

  561. to cause them harm. Capitalism, my last slide.

  562. We're doing this. We're making it. It's happening. Last slide. Okay,

  563. this is what capitalism is.

  564. It's a market-based system with private property, voluntary exchange, competition,

  565. incentives for innovation and investment, has been strongly associated with

  566. large-scale improvements in material living standards, poverty reduction, and economic

  567. growth over the past two centuries. These outcomes are supported

  568. by all kinds of things that we're not going to

  569. talk about.

  570. Next slide, please.

  571. The Heritage Foundation has a beautiful thing. It's called the

  572. Index of Economic Freedom. It scores countries on the rule

  573. of law, government size, regulatory efficiency, and the openness of

  574. its markets. And it rates free or mostly free economies

  575. having average incomes more than twice of the rest of

  576. the countries and more than five times repressed countries. Countries

  577. that have repressed economic systems have five times lower economic earnings.

  578. Do socialism and communism work? They don't.

  579. They never have. It turned Venezuela into destruction. It's turned

  580. China and the former USSR into destruction. Why would Americans

  581. start to do this? It's because they don't know what

  582. spirit they're participating with. They don't understand that there's a

  583. spirit of entitlement that's ruminating in their heart due to

  584. the pride that's in them saying, you owe me this.

  585. And then they're.

  586. Having a worldview that aligns as an oppressed group. This

  587. is all the opposite of the gospel, people. It's the

  588. opposite of the gospel. Do you know that James Madison,

  589. the founder of the constitutions, These people went into a

  590. room in Pennsylvania.

  591. They locked themselves in there. And you know what they did?

  592. They prayed.

  593. And they came up with the most beautiful system that

  594. has ever existed on planet Earth. And you might think, oh, no,

  595. I heard that's not true in school. Socialism's better. Communism's better.

  596. That's fake news. These people actually were so learned, it's ridiculous.

  597. We don't even have intellectuals today. Do you know everybody's

  598. so busy smoking weed, doing entertainment, and doom scrolling that

  599. no one has any smarts?

  600. Not you at New Horizon. You guys are smart. You're

  601. overcomers in Christ. He gives you the victory.

  602. But my point in saying this is that we don't

  603. even have intellectuals. James Madison was an intellectual. James Madison

  604. had a massive understanding of of every government system that

  605. had come before. And what they had looked at heavily

  606. was that republics were the most effective.

  607. Republics were the most effective.

  608. They'd looked at the Roman Republic and the Grecian Republic

  609. and all these different time periods throughout history.

  610. Their level of knowledge of world history was off the charts.

  611. And what they did is they said, this seems to

  612. be the most effective governance. However, there's a few flaws

  613. that we see. The few flaws we see, let's come

  614. up with solutions for it. So they did, and it's

  615. called the Declaration of Independence, which says that you have

  616. certain inalienable.

  617. Rights because you were formed in the image of the Creator.

  618. that your value is the same thing that the blood

  619. paid for. You have the same value as Jesus, and

  620. because your value is the same value as Jesus' value is,

  621. then what it means is we need to have a

  622. way to protect the people, and we have a bill

  623. of rights, and we have a constitution. And then he said,

  624. but the problem with democracies is they're prone to mob rule.

  625. The people could all gather up and then take something

  626. from somebody else if they don't like them.

  627. So they said, well, we need three branches of government.

  628. These people were anointed with the Holy Spirit. They were learned,

  629. like learned like people don't even understand today.

  630. Smart, intellectual, knowledgeable.

  631. And these people came up with a beautiful thing that

  632. you and I are currently experiencing. And I want my

  633. kids and grandkids to be able to experience that too.

  634. And if we don't wake up people, And if we

  635. don't start to rebuke the spirits that are at work

  636. behind these doctrines of demons, we're going to see our

  637. country get lost. So I'm gonna have you, we're gonna

  638. pray together, okay? And then on our way out, we'll

  639. worship and then you can go get your kids. But

  640. I wanna pray with you, okay?

  641. Stand up with me. Lord Jesus, we break.

  642. Off every tie that would align with entitlement. We break

  643. off pride. We rebuke pride. We rebuke entitlement. We kick

  644. it out. We say it's not welcome. We say it

  645. has no room in our hearts, in our minds. We

  646. say that we have the mind of Christ. We say

  647. that we do not agree with becoming oppressed or being oppressed.

  648. we say that we rebuke off laziness. We say you wake.

  649. Us early in the morning with energy in.

  650. Our muscles to labor so that we put our hand

  651. to the plow in our field and we lack no

  652. good thing. We say that you've delivered us from the

  653. empty way of life that many are experiencing, even some

  654. of our ancestors. And we say, no, we partner with

  655. the life-giving blood of Jesus. We walk in the light

  656. of it. We won't walk in the darkness at all.

  657. We say we rebuke the darkness. We say we have

  658. covenant with him. And his blood cleanses us. Even it

  659. cleanses our mind from thinking that is off.

  660. It just rebukes it right out. We kick it out.

  661. We say we rebuke off self-centeredness. We say we rebuke.

  662. Off contradictions that will not allow for us to function

  663. under healthy godly authority. We kick these things out. We

  664. say they're off of us. We rebuke them. We say

  665. they have no place in the church. They have no

  666. place in the United States of America. And we say

  667. we will fight for the heritage of our nation, for

  668. the freedoms that these anointed ones that came before us

  669. declared and set up for us. We say we will

  670. not go down silently.

  671. We will express to our children.

  672. We will teach people these doctrines of demons, what they are,

  673. expose them, shed the light of the gospel on them,

  674. And we kick these things out of America in the

  675. name of Jesus Christ.
