This is a good place, good place to be.
-
Our wolves are in eastern Washington. It's their legacy weekend,
-
so we bless them, and they're having a good time,
-
and they're having fun. I'm just going to get going.
-
I'm just going to pray. Lord Jesus, I just thank
-
you so much. I thank you for your love shed
-
abroad for every person, every person on this planet, and
-
I just ask that let us just run into your light.
-
Let us run into it. Let us just stay there.
-
Let us camp there. Let us just be the place
-
where we reside. We just thank you for your great
-
love poured out for us. Amen. So some time ago,
-
Pastor Dwayne had an idea. His idea was he liked
-
kind of like the Charlie Kirk debate. How do you
-
bring a biblical worldview into modern day culture? And so
-
my message this morning is going to be one in
-
line with that, okay? So taking biblical worldview and applying
-
that to modern-day culture. So the title is going to
-
be called Combating Communism. It could also be titled Uncovering
-
Socialism or Combating Collectivism, okay? And before we get started,
-
just do a declaration with me. Say, I have the
-
mind of Christ. Okay? Our church has the mind of Christ.
-
So I'm going to have you put up my first
-
slide that says socialism. So I've got a lot to
-
unpack here, and so I'm just going to read kind
-
of quick. I'm going to give you the definitions of
-
some things, and we're going to look at some scriptures.
-
So socialism generally refers to an economic or social system
-
in which the means of.
-
Production, factories, land... Natural.
-
Resources tools are owned or regulated collectively by the state,
-
workers' cooperatives, or the community rather than by private individuals
-
for profit.
-
Core principles of socialism are.
-
Reducing economic inequality through wealth redistribution, progressive taxation, And welfare
-
programs are an expression or example of this. Prioritizing social welfare,
-
public services, so healthcare, education, housing, and workers' rights over
-
market competition, okay? And the next slide, I'm gonna chat
-
with you a little bit about communism because they're really,
-
really simple.
-
So next slide. Next slide.
-
So communism is like socialism with teeth in it. So
-
communism is a more radical ideology envisioning a classless, stateless,
-
moneyless society where the means of production are owned in
-
common by all the members of the society. And goods
-
are distributed based on need. Say, based on need.
-
Core principles.
-
So core principles of communism are that they draw from
-
Karl Marx, which we don't have time for, but it's
-
the abolition of private property in the means of production.
-
It's the elimination of social classes, the state, which withers
-
away after a transitional period, and exploitation. This is a
-
common phrase used in communism. From each according to their ability,
-
to each according to their needs. A fully egalitarian society
-
after capitalism is overthrown. After capitalism is overthrown. So both
-
socialism and communism are systems where we have to overthrow
-
capitalism or deteriorate the system to then... apply those perspectives
-
to the people that are.
-
Being governed, if that makes sense.
-
And so at the end, when it said an egalitarian society,
-
you might be thinking, well, what is an egalitarian society?
-
I'm going to describe that in the next slide. An
-
egalitarian society is the belief in human equality, which is
-
a good thing, right?
-
Human equality.
-
That was what the Declaration of Independence was. We believe
-
these rights so that every single person has inalienable rights
-
that God bestowed upon them because they're built in the
-
image and likeness of him. This was the founders of
-
our nation in 1776. So they believe in human equality,
-
particularly in social, political, and economic affairs.
-
It advocates the removing.
-
Of inequalities among people and promoting equal worth, rights, and treatment.
-
Equal access to all resources. Say that after me.
-
Equal access to all resources. That is egalitarianism, okay? And
-
you might be thinking, well, why am I expressing what
-
those things are? I want to share a scripture verse
-
with you and it's because I think that sometimes if
-
we know the word of God, we sometimes can get
-
a perspective on a spirit of the day or a
-
perspective on the day that may be in contradiction to
-
what God actually has to say, okay? So this is
-
Matthew 25, 14 through 30. I'm going to be like
-
reading a bunch right now and I'm going to like
-
just power through it, okay? and we're going to just
-
halt in certain spots. For it is just like a
-
man about to go on a journey who called his
-
own slaves and entrusted his possessions to them. To one
-
he gave five talents, to another two, to another one,
-
each according to his own ability.
-
And he went on his journey.
-
The one who'd received five talents immediately went and did
-
business with them, and earned five more talents. In the
-
same way, the one who'd received the two talents earned
-
two more. But he who received the one talent went away,
-
dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master's money.
-
Now after a long time, the master of those slaves
-
came and settled accounts with them. The one who'd received
-
the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying, Master,
-
you entrusted five talents to me. See, I have earned
-
five more talents. His master said to him, well done,
-
good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things.
-
I will put you in charge of many things. Say
-
many things. Enter the joy of your master. Think about
-
that term, enter the joy of your master. We're going
-
to kind of come back to that in just a
-
little bit. And the one who'd received two talents came
-
up and said, master, you have entrusted two talents to me. See,
-
I have earned two more. His master said to him,
-
well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with
-
a few things. I will put you in charge of
-
many things. Enter the joy of your master. Are you
-
noticing it's the exact same phraseology? Now the one who'd
-
received one talent also came up and said, Master, I
-
knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you
-
did not sow and gathering where you did not scatter seed.
-
And I was afraid, so I went away, hid your
-
talent in the ground. See, you still have what's yours.
-
But his master answered him and said to him, You worthless,
-
lazy slave. That's not a good thing you want to
-
hear from the master, right?
-
He said, did you not know that I weep where
-
I did not sow and gather where I did not
-
scatter seed? Then you ought to have brought my money
-
back and put it in the bank, and I would
-
have earned interest on it upon my arrival. Therefore, take
-
the talent away from him and give it to the
-
one who has ten talents. For to everyone who has,
-
more shall be given. And.
-
But for the one who does not have, even what
-
he does have shall be taken away. And throw the
-
worthless slave into the outer darkness. In that place there
-
will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
-
We don't have time for it now.
-
But if you were to go study Luke 19, verses
-
11 through 27, it is the parable of the minas.
-
The parable of the minas and the parable of the
-
talents are nearly identical. Okay? Okay? Same thing, God entrusted
-
them with something. What they did with it changed God's
-
response and then also determined what he was going to
-
do next in giving them more, okay? In the parable
-
of the Minas, he actually went to the one who
-
had 10 cities and he actually said, I'm going to,
-
or said to the one who he had given 10
-
things to, he said, I'm actually gonna give you 10
-
cities to actually administrate or manage now. So, like, what
-
we see in these two parables is that God is very,
-
very aware of what we do with what he entrusts
-
us with.
-
Very aware.
-
And if I was to read you Luke 16.10, the
-
one who is faithful in a very little thing is
-
also faithful in much. And the one who is unrighteous
-
in a very little thing is also unrighteous in much.
-
God does not give... equally to all.
-
We position ourselves for receiving based upon our faithfulness. If
-
you just looked back at the egalitarian communism and socialism
-
slides that we had, which we're not going to go
-
back to, what you would see is that in all
-
of those slides, the concept is that things are distributed,
-
resources are distributed based upon need. But when you look
-
through the scriptures, what you see is God actually doesn't
-
distribute in that way.
-
God doesn't distribute in that way.
-
I believe that socialism has actually worked itself, this concept
-
of egalitarian and communism, it's actually worked itself so, so
-
prevalently within our society today that We almost don't even,
-
it's so commonplace that we almost have a tough time
-
recognizing it.
-
What do I mean?
-
I actually think that there's a spirit of entitlement that's
-
at work in culture today that at its under root
-
foundational level, the root that creates that spirit of entitlement
-
is actually pride. It's look at me, I'm so valuable.
-
That means you need to give me this, that, and
-
the other right now. I am entitled to it. How
-
dare you not do for me what I'm telling you
-
you need to do right now?
-
What is that? That's a spirit of entitlement and it's
-
fueled by pride. Does that make sense?
-
What I'm going to share with you is egalitarianism is
-
that in governmental function.
-
What do I mean?
-
If God doesn't distribute equally Based upon need, but he
-
does it based upon faithfulness in the parable of the minas,
-
in the parable of the talents.
-
Guess what he does today? The exact same thing.
-
And the question, what do you need to give me
-
and what do you owe me.
-
Is the wrong question to ask.
-
The right question to ask is, Lord, what did I
-
do last with what you gave to me and what
-
you entrusted me with? Amen. What did I do last
-
with that? Did I pick it up and did I
-
work with it like you wanted me to? Am I
-
faithful for something else? Do you see what I'm talking about?
-
There's a biblical worldview and then there's a spirit of
-
the day. And those two things may not be the same.
-
And I'm going to share with you that they're definitely
-
not in right now what's going on.
-
I used to work in a job where we.
-
Were part of a union, and with that union, if
-
you signed on for the job, you would get paid for,
-
let's say, eight hours if we were driving cars off
-
of ships.
-
You would get paid for eight hours.
-
And if you could get it done in three or
-
four and just work really fast, what would happen is
-
you go home to lunch, and you don't have to
-
come back. Like, you still get paid, okay? This was
-
just the way that structures were set up. And what
-
ended up happening is on days where it looked like
-
the job might take four hours, everybody would crank it out,
-
work really, really fast. And then what would happen is
-
you'd get to go home at lunch and not return,
-
get paid for eight hours. But then what would happen
-
is if it looked like a job might actually take
-
eight hours or even seven, this conversation would happen. There
-
was even a motto created for it. The motto was
-
work slow for more dough. So people would actually say, hey,
-
let's all slow it down so that it'll take more
-
than eight hours. Because if you worked like seven minutes after,
-
you got paid for another half hour. And if you
-
worked so many minutes after, you got paid for another hour.
-
And people mastered the capacity of doing this. You work
-
really fast. If you can go home early, you work
-
really slow if it looks like it's actually going to
-
take the full length of the job. I was not
-
even a believer at this phase in my life. And
-
it drove me crazy because I'm like.
-
These people are stealing from their employer. This isn't right.
-
This is theft.
-
And I know nobody in here would do something like that,
-
but how many people have padded their hours at work?
-
How many people have taken the stapler home? How many
-
people during COVID when no toilet paper was available actually
-
took it from their employer? Um, I have a business
-
and there's like six of us that are in there.
-
And what happened is during COVID, all of our toilet
-
paper was disappearing.
-
And it's like, there's only so many of us here.
-
Like it has to be one of us.
-
I'm going to tell you that I actually, at one point,
-
I ended up firing an employee.
-
I fired the employee because they.
-
Were being dishonest and they were doing all kinds of
-
things when they should have been working, but they weren't working.
-
And so another employee, which is a faithful servant, they
-
screenshotted 37 pages of all the stuff that the person
-
should not have been doing while I was paying them.
-
And so I fired them.
-
I brought them into a room. We sat down.
-
We let them know, hey, can you tell me about this?
-
They were like, I don't know anything about that. Well,
-
what about this?
-
Then they cry. It's like, you know what?
-
We've already given you multiple chances, so today's going to
-
be your final day.
-
Let's grab the box and put your stuff in it.
-
And what happened is they actually went so far as
-
to contact the Washington State Employment Security Division and claim
-
they were wrongfully terminated. And a judge saw over it
-
and he said, nope, that was a correct termination. And
-
they appealed it. And after the second appeal and another judge,
-
the judge was like, no, they should have been terminated.
-
And then they hired a legal group for the third appeal.
-
On the third appeal, the beauty was the judge actually
-
kind of slapped him around a bit, rebuking them for
-
the fact that we went through what we went through.
-
And what I'm sharing with you is that it seems
-
to be the culture today that everybody has this work-life
-
balance concept. How many people have heard that term, work-life balance?
-
You should have a vacation and you should have time
-
for your family. But people today have adopted a worldview
-
that would suggest that I'm entitled to a work-life balance
-
and because I'm entitled to it by my pride, And
-
that means you need to pay for that. That means
-
I should be earning six figures and I only want
-
to work 20 hours a week so that I have
-
enough time for my entertainment. And if I fudge my hours,
-
that's not a problem at all because I'm entitled to
-
my work-life balance.
-
I want to read, wrong view, yeah.
-
I want to read some scriptures to you. Proverbs, I'm
-
going to read like five scriptures. We're going to do
-
this rapid fire. Bless you for those online, because I'm
-
doing rapid fire. It's tough when we do rapid fire.
-
Proverbs 23, 21.
-
For the heavy drinker and the glutton will come to poverty,
-
and drowsiness will clothe one with rags.
-
Say that again. What clothes one with rags? Drowsiness. Proverbs 12, 27.
-
The lazy do not roast any game, but the diligent
-
feed on the riches of the hunt.
-
Proverbs 12, 24.
-
Diligent hands will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor.
-
Laziness ends in forced labor. That doesn't sound fun.
-
To me. Proverbs 12, 11. Sorry, Albert. Those who work
-
their land will have abundant food. Say that.
-
Those who work their land will have abundant food. But
-
those who chase fantasies have no sense. I'm going to
-
share with you, I think that there's actually a lot
-
of people today who are not actively working their land
-
and so they're not experiencing abundant food. But what happens
-
is they're chasing fantasies. Maybe they're playing video games in
-
the basement. Maybe they're doom scrolling all day. Maybe their
-
lifestyle is entertainment alone. And maybe they're smoking weed and
-
still living in their.
-
Parents' basement.
-
What I'm going to tell you, I'm not, I'm like
-
being dead serious here. What I'm here to tell you
-
is that there's a whole lot of people who are
-
not experiencing abundant provision because they're not working their land.
-
And the Lord says, you're to work your land. And
-
if you don't do that, you're going to be without. Listen,
-
if you think that this is all like Old Testament,
-
here's the New Testament, Ephesians.
-
4, 28.
-
Anyone who's been stealing must steal no longer.
-
Say steal no longer.
-
Not toilet paper, not staplers, not hours on your time card,
-
not work slow for Mordeaux?
-
No, I'm serious. What do you think the Lord thinks
-
about this stuff?
-
Anyone who's been stealing must steal no longer, but must work.
-
Doing something useful with their own hands that they may
-
have something to share with.
-
Those in need.
-
Do you know you're working with your hands isn't just
-
for your own provision and your own family's provision? It's
-
so that you can support those in need. Who's supposed
-
to be supporting those in need?
-
The church. The church. not the government, the church.
-
But when they come to the church to get the
-
food or the need met, what happens is that the
-
church can actually train them up, raise them up, teach
-
them what they need to know so that they will
-
not stay in a place of what I'm gonna call self-harm.
-
Do you know that if I have a drug addiction
-
problem or if I'm smoking weed, watching video games all
-
day and I'm in need, what I don't need is
-
the government to give me more money.
-
What I need is someone to coach.
-
Me in how to work diligently and labor with my hands,
-
not only to produce for myself and my family, but
-
for those that are in need.
-
Does that make sense?
-
Because what you're going to get when you come to
-
the house of God isn't just a handout. You're going
-
to get the methodology for how to accumulate wealth and
-
how to become prosperous. Socialism hides itself with compassion for others,
-
but is truly about self.
-
You owe me.
-
You better give me. I deserve X, Y, and Z.
-
not what it can give to another. Socialism is not
-
about what it can give to another.
-
Neither is communism. Neither is egalitarianism. It's all about give
-
me what's mine.
-
And as long as the government is giving me what
-
I want and I'm getting what I think is mine,
-
then I'm happy to elect people or put people in
-
positions who give me what's mine because I'm entitled and
-
I'm prideful. We have a consumer society today rather than
-
a contributor society.
-
God called us to be contributors.
-
We're here to make the world a better place, to
-
make your life better, to create situations for the future
-
people that will come after us that will allow for
-
them to prosper. It is not about our self-aggrandizement. We
-
have a consumer society. Everything's about me, me, me, and me,
-
and more me. This is the culture of the.
-
Day that we live in.
-
I have watched people retire and go around cruises around
-
the globe.
-
Did you know you can stay on a cruise ship
-
for three, four months, even a year? Did you know that?
-
And it costs a lot of money. Here's what I'm
-
going to tell you.
-
I've watched people come back from those, and do you
-
know they are not happy?
-
They are not fulfilled.
-
Why? Why? Because humanity cannot find self-fulfillment in self-aggrandizement. They
-
only find self-fulfillment in loyalty and servanthood to the king.
-
1 Peter 1.18. For you know that it was not
-
with perishable things such as gold or silver that you
-
were redeemed from the empty way of life. Say empty
-
way of life. That was handed down to you from
-
your ancestors. There's an empty way of life that's trying
-
to be handed down to Americans, and they're buying it.
-
They're picking it up.
-
And it's fake news. It doesn't work.
-
For this is the message that I have come to
-
give to you, that I've heard and declared to you,
-
that God is light. In him, there is no darkness
-
at all. And if I claim to have fellowship but
-
walk in the darkness, I lie to myself, I deceive myself,
-
and I'm not walking out or abiding in the truth.
-
But if I will walk in the light as he
-
is in the light because I have covenant with him,
-
then he is faithful to purify me and cleanse me
-
I believe that the Lord wants to purify and cleanse
-
this entitlement mindset right out of us. Because it's rooted
-
in pride. And he has a very difficult time working
-
with humans when we're rooted in pride. Because he has
-
a kingdom he wants to expand. And if I'm all
-
about me, me, me, me, me, guess what I'm not about?
-
His kingdom.
-
Many Christians today are actually voting based upon this social
-
justice equality message, and it's completely unbiblical.
-
It's anti-biblical. God does not give equally to all.
-
He gives to us based upon our faithfulness with the
-
last thing he entrusted us with. Deuteronomy 8.18, I'm going
-
to be speeding up here. I'm going to be going
-
a few minutes over with how we, yeah. But you
-
are to remember the Lord your God, for it is
-
he who is giving you power to make wealth in
-
order to confirm his covenant, which he swore to your
-
forefathers as it is this day. Does God guarantee you wealth? No.
-
He says he gives you the power to make it.
-
By a co-laboring, oh yeah, by a co-ambassadorship, by an
-
abiding in him, by a running to the light and
-
staying in the light, staying camped in the light, by
-
covenant with the light, that's how he does this. I
-
want to share with you a brief story, and I
-
need to tell you this. Stewarding what is another man's
-
when it's entrusted to you, qualifies you to have something
-
worth stewarding yourself. My best friend is usually down here.
-
We have a lot of our leaders gone this weekend
-
for family things, which is good.
-
Family's good.
-
But my good friend Joe Sims is not here right now,
-
but one of the things I'll tell you about him
-
is God's prospered him. I'm gonna tell you one of
-
the reasons and I can see it on his life
-
in all the years I've known him. The reason why
-
God has prospered him is because he understands he's been
-
faithful with what another man entrusted him with. I've watched
-
him here being an armor bearer at the church. I've
-
watched him do it in business. He armor bared in business.
-
That is why God prospered him because another man entrusted
-
him with something and he didn't buck authority. People today,
-
there's a blessing of God that's supposed to be bestowed
-
upon the people of God that the people of God
-
are missing out on because they won't.
-
Sit under authority.
-
It's the independent spirit that will not allow someone to
-
sit under authority. And you can move yourself right out
-
of a blessing if he called you to camp under
-
another man.
-
I have experienced this.
-
Years ago, I served a man faithfully leading this group
-
of doctors. And after 47 years of practice, he ended
-
up passing. But before he did, he said to me,
-
he said, you're the one to carry this on. He
-
didn't say that because I showed up at the last
-
minute and said, hey, I'd like to have more responsibility.
-
He did it because I faithfully served him for years
-
and years and years. He instilled things in me that
-
other people never got instilled. And it made me worthy
-
to carry on the thing, the mantle he used to carry.
-
I would have removed myself from that blessing if I
-
let my pride come up and not serve him. This
-
is huge in the body of Christ today. Nobody can
-
serve anybody. Like everybody's got this like, I'm the top
-
and I'm... No, we need to submit to authority because
-
that's where God's hand of blessing flows. Servanthood, not entitlement,
-
qualifies you to lead and for God to be able
-
to give you something.
-
Did you hear that?
-
Servanthood and not entitlement. There's a global move towards collectivism
-
where you won't own a home.
-
You won't own property.
-
The government will supply all of your food and housing.
-
This is what's pervasive out there right now. It's going
-
on all over the globe. However, what they don't tell
-
you is they also get to tell you what you
-
get to do, what you get to think, and where
-
you get to go. You subject yourself to something. I'm
-
probably going to offend somebody in here right now. But socialism, communism,
-
and Marxism are doctrines of demons. Entitlement has actually woven
-
itself into America and into much of the church, where
-
the church is actually partnering with doctrines of demons in
-
the unclean realm.
-
We got to get the gunk out.
-
We got to not participate with things that are in
-
contradiction to God and his word and his ways and
-
how he works. You don't want to partner with the
-
spirit of entitlement because you move yourself right out of
-
his blessing. Venezuela was a mostly capitalist nation. 1950s through
-
the 1990s, with private enterprise and oil-driven growth, it had
-
Latin America's highest living standards.
-
Say highest living standards.
-
The shift towards socialism ramped up after Hugo Chavez's election
-
in 1998 with major nationalizations, price controls, and expanded state
-
control in the 2000s.
-
It collapsed. Say collapsed. Collapsed.
-
In 2014 under Maduro, with hyperinflation, mass immigration, extreme poverty
-
hitting over 80% at its worst. That's socialism for you.
-
So if you're being told at school, socialism's great, now
-
think again. You're being lied to. Here's communism for you.
-
For Lenin, from 1917 to 1924, Total excess deaths under
-
him are in the 5 to 8 million range by
-
executions and famine. And if that's not enough communism, here's
-
more communism. For Stalin, from the late 1920s to 1953,
-
archives show that 6 to 9 million deaths were from
-
direct repression, 800,000 executions, 1.7 million people were in the gulags,
-
Hundreds of thousands of people were deported. Seven million died
-
in 1932 and 1933 from a famine. And the total
-
estimates for all mortality, excess mortality, beyond just like humans
-
living out their life expectancy, for Stalin are 15 to
-
20 million people.
-
This is Mao in China. China.
-
Mao's rule from 1949 to 1976 had catastrophic human consequences
-
for China. Total SS deaths under Mao are estimated in
-
the 40 to 70 million range.
-
Communism, China, Mao.
-
There is probably no single more destructive force that's ever
-
impacted humanity other than saying yes to the blood and
-
gospel of Jesus Christ than the adoption of socialism, communism, egalitarianism,
-
and Marxism. There's literally no things that have caused more
-
harm to all of humanity than these things.
-
And if we as the church and we as Americans.
-
Today can't wake up and realize that this is a
-
doctrine of demons in complete opposition to God and his
-
word and his ways, then we're going to see our
-
nation be massively harmed, which means your kids and your
-
grandkids are gonna be harmed. We need to spread the
-
truth about these narratives that are fake. People are going
-
to school every day and they're being told socialism's great.
-
Communism's great.
-
Tell me about 40, 70 million people under one leader's
-
rule who've been killed.
-
Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me?
-
We have such a level of unawareness of actual truth
-
and history that people are going to be harmed if
-
they don't wake up. Here's one of the challenging things.
-
Marxism requires that there be an oppressor and an oppressed group.
-
So One group's the oppressor, one group is the oppressed.
-
Does that make sense? And the idea is that you
-
have to divide everybody into factions and you have to
-
make them an oppressed group, okay? So your faction's an
-
oppressed group and your faction is an oppressed group. And
-
we need to get you all hating one another because
-
you're entitled to something. And nobody's giving you what you want,
-
your pride's rising up. And so then what happens is
-
now your groups are fighting. And what we do is
-
we get all the groups to fight and then we
-
overthrow the system. That is the only way capitalism goes away, people,
-
is if oppressor and oppressed groups can be aligned with
-
by the populace.
-
And do you know why you don't align as an.
-
Oppressor or oppressed group? Because you're an overcomer in Christ.
-
How can you be an oppressed group when you're an
-
overcomer in Christ? If he gives you the victory and
-
spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him and
-
2 Corinthians, or 1 Corinthians 2.14, 1 Corinthians 15.57, if
-
he gives you the victory everywhere you put your foot,
-
then how could you be part of an oppressed group?
-
You can't do it.
-
It's the antithesis of the gospel to align with being oppressed.
-
People are buying into something right now that is going
-
to cause them harm. Capitalism, my last slide.
-
We're doing this. We're making it. It's happening. Last slide. Okay,
-
this is what capitalism is.
-
It's a market-based system with private property, voluntary exchange, competition,
-
incentives for innovation and investment, has been strongly associated with
-
large-scale improvements in material living standards, poverty reduction, and economic
-
growth over the past two centuries. These outcomes are supported
-
by all kinds of things that we're not going to
-
talk about.
-
Next slide, please.
-
The Heritage Foundation has a beautiful thing. It's called the
-
Index of Economic Freedom. It scores countries on the rule
-
of law, government size, regulatory efficiency, and the openness of
-
its markets. And it rates free or mostly free economies
-
having average incomes more than twice of the rest of
-
the countries and more than five times repressed countries. Countries
-
that have repressed economic systems have five times lower economic earnings.
-
Do socialism and communism work? They don't.
-
They never have. It turned Venezuela into destruction. It's turned
-
China and the former USSR into destruction. Why would Americans
-
start to do this? It's because they don't know what
-
spirit they're participating with. They don't understand that there's a
-
spirit of entitlement that's ruminating in their heart due to
-
the pride that's in them saying, you owe me this.
-
And then they're.
-
Having a worldview that aligns as an oppressed group. This
-
is all the opposite of the gospel, people. It's the
-
opposite of the gospel. Do you know that James Madison,
-
the founder of the constitutions, These people went into a
-
room in Pennsylvania.
-
They locked themselves in there. And you know what they did?
-
They prayed.
-
And they came up with the most beautiful system that
-
has ever existed on planet Earth. And you might think, oh, no,
-
I heard that's not true in school. Socialism's better. Communism's better.
-
That's fake news. These people actually were so learned, it's ridiculous.
-
We don't even have intellectuals today. Do you know everybody's
-
so busy smoking weed, doing entertainment, and doom scrolling that
-
no one has any smarts?
-
Not you at New Horizon. You guys are smart. You're
-
overcomers in Christ. He gives you the victory.
-
But my point in saying this is that we don't
-
even have intellectuals. James Madison was an intellectual. James Madison
-
had a massive understanding of of every government system that
-
had come before. And what they had looked at heavily
-
was that republics were the most effective.
-
Republics were the most effective.
-
They'd looked at the Roman Republic and the Grecian Republic
-
and all these different time periods throughout history.
-
Their level of knowledge of world history was off the charts.
-
And what they did is they said, this seems to
-
be the most effective governance. However, there's a few flaws
-
that we see. The few flaws we see, let's come
-
up with solutions for it. So they did, and it's
-
called the Declaration of Independence, which says that you have
-
certain inalienable.
-
Rights because you were formed in the image of the Creator.
-
that your value is the same thing that the blood
-
paid for. You have the same value as Jesus, and
-
because your value is the same value as Jesus' value is,
-
then what it means is we need to have a
-
way to protect the people, and we have a bill
-
of rights, and we have a constitution. And then he said,
-
but the problem with democracies is they're prone to mob rule.
-
The people could all gather up and then take something
-
from somebody else if they don't like them.
-
So they said, well, we need three branches of government.
-
These people were anointed with the Holy Spirit. They were learned,
-
like learned like people don't even understand today.
-
Smart, intellectual, knowledgeable.
-
And these people came up with a beautiful thing that
-
you and I are currently experiencing. And I want my
-
kids and grandkids to be able to experience that too.
-
And if we don't wake up people, And if we
-
don't start to rebuke the spirits that are at work
-
behind these doctrines of demons, we're going to see our
-
country get lost. So I'm gonna have you, we're gonna
-
pray together, okay? And then on our way out, we'll
-
worship and then you can go get your kids. But
-
I wanna pray with you, okay?
-
Stand up with me. Lord Jesus, we break.
-
Off every tie that would align with entitlement. We break
-
off pride. We rebuke pride. We rebuke entitlement. We kick
-
it out. We say it's not welcome. We say it
-
has no room in our hearts, in our minds. We
-
say that we have the mind of Christ. We say
-
that we do not agree with becoming oppressed or being oppressed.
-
we say that we rebuke off laziness. We say you wake.
-
Us early in the morning with energy in.
-
Our muscles to labor so that we put our hand
-
to the plow in our field and we lack no
-
good thing. We say that you've delivered us from the
-
empty way of life that many are experiencing, even some
-
of our ancestors. And we say, no, we partner with
-
the life-giving blood of Jesus. We walk in the light
-
of it. We won't walk in the darkness at all.
-
We say we rebuke the darkness. We say we have
-
covenant with him. And his blood cleanses us. Even it
-
cleanses our mind from thinking that is off.
-
It just rebukes it right out. We kick it out.
-
We say we rebuke off self-centeredness. We say we rebuke.
-
Off contradictions that will not allow for us to function
-
under healthy godly authority. We kick these things out. We
-
say they're off of us. We rebuke them. We say
-
they have no place in the church. They have no
-
place in the United States of America. And we say
-
we will fight for the heritage of our nation, for
-
the freedoms that these anointed ones that came before us
-
declared and set up for us. We say we will
-
not go down silently.
-
We will express to our children.
-
We will teach people these doctrines of demons, what they are,
-
expose them, shed the light of the gospel on them,
-
And we kick these things out of America in the
-
name of Jesus Christ.
