Called According to His Purpose | February 2, 2025

Hey, welcome to

Groundhog Day.

Everybody.

I don't know if you

can hear the word

Groundhog Day and

not feel for poor

Bill Murray, who is

trapped in an endless

cycle over and over

and over again.

If you haven't

watched it, you

probably should.

Maybe you could

learn some things

like how to play the

piano in one day.

But, uh, today is

Groundhog Day, which,

uh, I don't know,

did you catch the

news about the new

animal rights activist

group trying to

turn it into a cake

reveal instead of a

groundhog reveal or

kind of being a, Hey,

listen, I'll eat cake.

Right?

I, maybe I'm on board

with those guys.

I don't know,

but like, I could

see that, right?

I like Phil.

Jumping it, jumping

out of a cake, a

groundhog, traumatized

animals, very,

very shame Tom.

Very shame.

But if we all cut

up like a cake

shaped groundhog,

that'd be probably

bad too, right?

So I don't know

what the right

answer is, but I

do know this today.

People are watching

what a groundhog does

to know whether they

have hope or not.

And I'm thankful that,

uh, the dude I worship

climbed out of a tomb,

not out of a crate

or something, right,

a long time ago.

And he gives us

hope forever.

And, uh, I'll

still eat cake one

way or the other.

But that means

if it's Groundhog

Day, that of these

precious 12 amazing

months god's given

us in 2025, we have

literally just checked

one off the box.

Right?

How crazy is that?

This amazing month?

Is this still

on this amazing

month of January?

Dun dun has faded

into February now.

That means we only

have 11 months left

to stretch, right.

And reach.

But I realized just

even yesterday,

thinking through

some of this,

that I'm really

tired from all the

stretching in January.

I gotta be honest,

I don't know whose

lame idea it was to

use this imagery, but

Jamie and I were like,

how far can you pull

a rubber band before

it snaps captain?

Amazing, right?

And I don't know

where this comes

from, but I feel

like every time we do

one of these opening

of the year word

images, God always

shows me so many

ways I could improve

I don't know about

you, but, uh,

January's a tough,

I'm, I'm actually

glad January's gone.

You know, I was

thinking about that

month and I, I dunno

about you, but January

for me is always

just so hard and

I think it starts

with the fact . That

Christmas just gets

dumped right there.

And we start

January, right?

Like poor

Christmas is gone.

That's tough.

And it's freezing

cold, right?

And after being

freezing cold, then

we're supposed to be

like doing all the

best personal life

improvement things

for the new year

while we're miserable.

'cause Christmas

is over.

We ate too much, we

spent too much, and

it's too cold to

do anything, right?

So it's a really

discouraging month

it feels like to

get on your feet.

But it's been really

fun walking through

this prayer from

Ephesians over the

church as we kinda

caught our breath in

the month of January.

This idea that God

calls us to be people

who know intimately

the hope of his

calling, right?

The riches, the

glorious inheritance

that's ours as

saints, aos, holy

ones in Christ,

and the surpassing

greatness of his

epic power, right?

That even in the

midst of the really

difficult season

of January and.

Deep winter, we

can know purpose.

We can know that God

has reason and purpose

for our life, that we

can gain perspective

looking at the big

picture and his

provision, and that

we can understand

that no matter what

we face his powers

enough that we can

stand and persevere

in the midst of it.

Like someone really

encouraging truth.

And I hope that God's

word has been an

encourag encouragement

to you in jam.

I'm sorry, I'm

working on my, I'm

working on my, uh,

romantic Valentine's

Day voice this week.

And, uh, the bummer

is it's gonna be gone.

I'll go back to

the annoying voice.

My wife's like,

please stop, right?

But, uh, do

what I can.

So I'm also

through today, if

you will as well.

Oh yeah.

Did I mention

sickness in January?

Oh yeah, there's

that, right?

Raise your hand if

you've had a disease

in the last week.

No, put your hand,

that's, you're sitting

right next to people.

That's awkward.

Here we go.

Um, so I've

been spending a

little time, um.

S Roman through

Romans lately.

And, uh, a couple

of guys we've been

talking back and

forth and, and one

of the things that

you're gonna find in

the book of Romans

is, well, everything,

the book of Romans

is like the doctrinal

theological mind

bending, challenging,

every, confusing

possible dogma,

doctrine in scripture.

You could find it in

the book of Romans.

And if Romans

is a little too

intimidating, you

could do Galatians.

It's kind of like a

mini Romans kind of

a starter kit, right?

Training

wheels Romans.

But you're gonna

run into some stuff

that's challenging

and stretches your

understanding, and

you gotta dig and

spend some time.

And, and if you fancy

yourself one of those

intellectual types

who likes to know

a lot of stuff, try

reading Romans a

little bit, marinate

it or marinate on it,

spend some time in it.

Uh, God's got some

amazing truths that

get gets revealed in

the book of Romans.

Um, but as I've

been going through

this, I ran across

this scripture the

other day, and.

Just to be honest,

it was like this,

uh, little oasis

in the midst of all

of the content that

you're processing

and, and all of the

different things

you're juggling.

And I was thinking,

how much after

January, I want an

oasis, you know,

more of a Florida

beach oasis.

I'll be honest than

you know, white Rock

talking about Romans.

But still, maybe this

morning you might find

a little hope and a

little oasis in this

scripture that I wanna

share with you because

I wanna encourage you,

the cool thing about

January being gone

already is that winter

just moves, right?

We'll be into

spring soon then.

Fall.

Nope.

I missed one summer.

Thank you.

Yeah, we're gonna

keep rolling through

this stuff, right?

There's change

and movement.

His part seasons

don't last, but

God's goodness every

day, fresh every

morning, right?

His mercies and

we just gotta keep

walking with him

'cause there's great

things for us in all

of the seasons he has

for us and our God

is at work doing some

really good stuff.

Romans chapter

eight, verse 28.

It's one of my

favorite verses in

the Bible, mostly

because it has very

little to do with me

needing to do better

and a whole lot with

how epically better

my God is to me.

So let's take a look

at this together,

and I wanna share

this with you this

morning and this,

we know that in all

things, God works

for the good of those

who love him, who've

been called according

to his purpose.

Now, as I was reading

this, a word hit me

right off the bat.

No, right.

We spent the last few

weeks talking about

this idea of knowing

the hope of his

calling, knowing the

glorious inheritance,

the riches that he

has waiting for us.

The hope, knowing

his power, right?

And man, I love this

word no, because guys,

our faith, there's

more substance to

it than just hope,

than just sort of

imaginary fairytale.

I hope it's

all okay, man.

We are called to

be people who know

not about God's

faithfulness, right?

Demons know

about God's

faithfulness, right?

We're to be people

who know God's

faithfulness.

We know God.

My faith is not

an ideology or

a belief system.

My faith is a

relationship with

the creator of

all the universe,

the king of kings.

He knows me and I know

him now, not, not , I

don't know the full

extent of him, very

much like Jamie and

I are celebrating

26 years, 27 years.

We're celebrating

in the twenties,

uh, some marriage

stuff this year.

It's gonna be great.

I could even tell

you the date, but

I'm not gonna put

that on record.

. I don't know what

that date is.

Anyways, um, the

truth is I discover

new things about my

wife all the time.

Now I discover them in

the most inconvenient

ways, let me tell you.

Right?

And, uh, most,

uh, unhelpful

ways usually, but.

I'm constantly

learning about this

incredible woman

God's given me to

do life with, right?

And that's

just this human

relationship with

a fallible person.

There's no way we can

know the fullness of

who God is not right

now, but we get pieces

of the relationship

and moments in the

relationship that gets

richer and deeper.

And this is an awesome

promise of God, that

we would know a little

bit about the heart

of our God and what

he's up to, and that

we would have this

constant assurance

that we don't just

believe in Jesus.

We don't just

hope in Jesus.

We know Jesus

and he knows us.

And that affects

how we do life and

how we stand in

everything that's

going on in this

crazy world around us.

For us, this, uh,

scripture right here

is an epic promise.

It's an epic promise.

God makes

this promise.

He says, in all

things gonna work

for the good of

those who love me.

Were called according

to my purpose.

And like with all

promises, like for

instance, if your

wife said, I promised

we can eat pizza

three times a week,

I would commit that

to memory, right?

Because I would

want to never

lose that promise.

Now, in fairness,

Jamie's never said

those words out

loud and never will.

But if she had, I

would remember it.

Right?

And this scripture is

an epic promise that

you need to know.

So, Jed, Josh, Josiah,

come on up here if

you would please.

And I know the moment

that this scripture

You knew what

was coming.

Yeah.

I saw Romans and I

turned my mm-hmm.

Yeah, you did.

Yeah, you did.

You knew.

Mm-hmm . Mm-hmm

. Because.

Because I

love you guys.

Yeah, you do.

Yeah, I do.

Okay.

So, um, these guys

used to ride in my car

on the way to school

in the mornings, and

we, in our car, often

did good research

on YouTube to find

high quality content.

And we found this

really neat Filipino

worship pastor who

sang Off Key and

it was beautiful.

And he put together a

little Diddy on this

scripture and it's

become a favorite

of ours, randomly

a different day.

A favorite, is that

the right word?

Jed Favorite.

Oh, come on.

So we're gonna,

we're gonna help you

out because one of

the things you do

when you're trying

to memorize stuff

is you put it to a

little tune, right?

We can all remember

some jingles from when

we were kids, right?

And we're like, why is

that still in my head?

Well, 'cause you

kind of laced it

with a little bit

of music, you know

what I'm saying?

So we're going to

lace this with a

little bit of music.

Sorry for the

drug reference.

I didn't mean

it like that.

So, and this, we know

that in all things,

God works for the

good of those who

love him, who've

been called according

to his purpose.

Now, I can promise

you these three

guys, when I said

that the tune was in

their head and they

said An extra stands

that didn't they?

Alright.

Here's how

the song goes.

And I got the worst

Are we all

You guys are gonna

help everybody.

And then we're gonna

And this, we know that

all things God works

forward good love

him, who have been

called according to

his purpose, who have

been called according

to his purpose.

Rome chapter

eight verse 28.

Hey, there you go.

You got it.

All right.

Impressive.

Oddly enough, I

have not let that

song die for, what?

Six years.

So here we go.

Altogether, you guys

are gonna memorize

this scripture today,

this promise of God.

And then we're

gonna unpack it

a little bit.

Here we go.

And this, we know

that God brings

rapid call according

to Ms. Purpose, rapid

call according to Ms.

Purpose, the fun part.

Romans chapter

eight, verse 28.

Hey, all right.

Good job.

Good job guys.

Can have a seat.

Thank you.

Ah,

what?

That's what written on

your heart looks like.

That's what written on

your heart looks like.

Yep.

And in etched

in your vocal

chords and memory.

So I hope you won't

ever forget that.

That's a really

important promise

to the Lord and

important scripture,

and maybe that cheesy

little Diddy that

we couldn't get out

of our heads for

the last six years.

We'll help you

keep it in yours.

This is what our God

says to us in the

midst of this crazy

life that we live.

Here's his promise.

He says that in

all things, he

works for the good

of those who love

him in all things.

Now, I did a little

recon into the deep,

dark recesses of

this word, and I

was able to discover

this truth that this

word really means.

This phrase, all

things, what it really

means is everything.

Everything.

And like everything.

If you drew a big

circle, right,

that encompassed

all things.

Do you know what

would be outside

of that circle?

No things a K, a

no thing, nothing.

Good combo, right?

Yeah.

So there is literally

nothing that doesn't

fit into this

category of all

things, nothing.

Check out this

spiritual truth.

No relationship,

no finances, no

health crisis.

No struggle.

No failure, no

disappointment, no

screw up, nothing.

Our God is at

work doing good,

right in all, in

every situation.

Check out this

promise guys.

'cause I don't

think we believe it.

Oh wait, sorry.

I may tie into

last week on this.

Remember his power,

the dynamo picture

with the big

theological term can

Right our God can,

he is able no matter

what things he is

able in and can in

all things accomplish.

Amazing.

Good in the

midst of it.

And I'll be honest,

I really struggle

with us really

believing that.

And I think this is

what I've discovered

over time, that

in this world we live,

we equate success,

prosperity, joy, hope,

fun with the things of

God, and we attribute

pain and hardship

and suffering and

loss with successes

of the enemy.

And however you

measure those, you

need to throw this

promise into the

hopper here, and

you need to know,

scripture says to

us super clearly

that what Satan

means for evil, God

flips on its head

and uses for good.

So there are no

things, right,

everything, whether

joy, happiness,

excitement,

pleasure, suffering,

hardship, difficulty,

pain, all things.

God is at work

accomplishing good.

He takes the

mess and he makes

beauty, right?

Scripture uses the

imagery of beauty

out of ashes.

Now, I don't know if

you've paid attention

to the California

wildfires much, but

when you go back

to the pile of ash,

that was a house.

That was memories.

That was stuff

was things.

There's nothing

left there.

There's nothing

but ash,

and that's our God's

favorite stuff because

if he takes your great

stuff and he polishes

it up, you might be

like, thanks God.

I had some

great stuff.

He polished it

up pretty nice.

But when he takes

your garbage, trash,

dust, dirt, ash,

and he says, watch

this down, right?

Wow.

Wow.

When he makes beauty

out of the ash, and

the more you grow in

your faith in Jesus

Christ, you come

to this reality.

That some of the

greatest beauty in

your life is born

out of the brokenness

of your life.

Suffering is a gift.

Hardship is a gift.

God entrusts us to

navigate this world

through the heart

and difficult things,

and I have found more

power and impact in

other people's lives

through the failures,

the messes, the

mistakes, the mess

ups, the ash than I

ever have out of some

kind of Andy's amazing

success stories.

You would be surprised

at the number of

people who don't

really care a whole

lot about coming to

the book, signing

of Andy's amazing

success stories.

You be shocked, right?

My wife's not in

that line, right?

Nobody wants to

hear, uh, how great

it was, right?

But you know what

they want to hear is

God's power enough?

Is his, can he sustain

even when it's hard?

How did you make

it through that?

How did you

navigate that?

You know, we

lost little baby

cheer, right?

And my little teenage

daughter who's

not here, can you

imagine the Super

Bowl commercials?

I could have pulled

off if I had a

teenage daughter for

the last like, you

know, eight years?

That'd be crazy.

I probably

wouldn't have got

to do any of it.

It's maybe a gift,

I don't know.

But man, there's a

lot of pain and hurt,

and I use humor as

my own way to cope

with it, probably.

But here's the truth,

I wouldn't go back and

change any of that.

'cause I've had more

opportunity to love

and to impact, and

to connect and to

see God work through

the pain and the

loss and the hardship

than I ever did

through the amazing,

everything looks great

American life, right?

So don't make

the mistake of

thinking that your

hard, difficult

circumstance is a

trophy for the enemy.

Quite the

contrary, it's a

trophy case, God.

Or it is gonna go

on God's trophy case

because he's going

to use all things in

your life and he's

at work bringing

good, even out of the

horribly bad feeling

stuff we endure.

We trust him and if

we endure and he is

faithful, he does

that in all things.

God works

for the good.

I wanna squeeze that

back just a little bit

and hit this phrase.

God works.

I've been thinking

about this a lot and

sometimes the things

that connect with

me make no sense

to anybody else.

I can totally

appreciate that,

but I've really

been chewing on

this like, do I

believe God works?

I believe he worked,

he created, and I

like to say, well,

God's at work, blah,

blah, blah, but but

doesn't God just

kinda like sit in

his throne and chill

and say, go peasant,

go pee on, do this.

Can you get your mind

around the idea that

the creator of all

the universe who had

the ability to create

everything in a six

day period and then

rest for a day, like

he's at work, right?

He's working.

That's active,

that's not passive,

that's current,

that's not history.

Just like we would

see, like, you

know, maybe slow

men at work, right?

God's not slow.

He is active.

But I don't know if

we get up to heaven

and there's a sign

like this sitting

in the throne room

and the angel's

like, where's God?

Well, he's working

right now, right?

Like, what a cool

picture that our

God is at work, he's

working, he's busy

doing and moving and

coordinating and,

and facilitating

right, and molding

and shape he's doing.

And let's be honest,

if you give your mind

a second to try to

imagine the complexity

of taking our ash and

making good out of

it, no wonder God's

busy working, right?

There's no way we

can even make sense

of our moments.

And yet he is

coordinating and he

is at work and he's

doing all this amazing

stuff, and it's beyond

our comprehension.

But don't put God

in some box where

he's this distant

observer of your life.

He is actively, like

right now, you're in

a situation, you're in

a circumstance, you're

in a relationship.

You got some stuff

going on, you're

feeling and you're

navigating and

his hard and it's

challenging and

you're trying to

make sense of it.

God's not standing

back watching you

saying . I wonder

if he's gonna

guess, right?

Oh, the game

show of life.

I love this one.

Oh, he's out.

He's out.

It's not who he is.

He's at work.

He's putting things

in place and creating

opportunity and

illuminating a path.

Now we got some

responsibility, right?

To walk in the

right direction and

maybe make the right

choice on what we

do here and there

to engage in this

direction that he's

trying to take us.

But man, our

God is at work.

And I think this

phrase, God works

for the good is so

important because I

wonder sometimes if we

really believe God is

at work for our good.

I think we believe

God is at work for his

good and his purpose,

and he's accomplishing

his will.

Wish it was my will.

And yes, let's say

sometimes our wills

and total defiance

of gods, and we got

some issues to work

on there, right?

But I think we forget

that at his heart,

God is good and he's

working for your good.

Now, your

interpretation of your

good might be, he's

working for my bank

account to increase.

Probably not

what he said.

He's working so I

can have that brand

new car and the new

house , come on, God,

work for my good.

That may be actually

working for your bad

in the big picture,

just saying, but

God has your best

interest in mind.

Can you get your mind

around this reality

that God has your

best interest in

mind, more so than

you do for yourself?

It's a pretty

profound thought.

What you want for

yourself isn't as good

as what God wants for

you, and there's an

awesome opportunity.

I'm not out of

time yet, am I?

There's an awesome

opportunity

to demonstrate

to ourselves.

We really trust him.

That we really

believe him.

Because if we're

willing to say, okay,

God, not what I want,

but what you want

and faithfully follow

him in that man.

That's what faith

really looks

like in action.

When I'm like,

no, God, I'm doing

my own thing.

I don't really

trust you.

Right.

I don't really

trust you.

There's a lot of

different translations

that try to get

around this phrase

for us, God works

together all things.

God works all

things together.

Uh, God causes

everything to work

together for good,

but at the heart of

it, it's just the

simple reality that

God's motivation and

his destination for

what he's working

on is your good.

It's for your good.

You know, I just

thought of, remember

when your mom said

this is for your own

good and you didn't

like it too much?

Like this morning when

she took my coffee?

No, I'm just kidding.

That wasn't that but

the reality, right?

Like.

Yeah, sometimes we

don't even want our

own good if we're

honest, but God is

always trying to help

us experience more

of the good that he

designs the beauty.

Sometimes we resist

him pretty hard

in that we need to

trust that he is

working for the good.

And then there's two

phrases of those who

love him and who have

been called according

to his purpose.

And really what we're

looking at here are

the two conditions

for the fulfillment

of his promise, right?

Because he is

at work, right?

We know that God

is working for the

good of who, for

those who love him,

and those who are

called according

to his purpose.

So I wanna challenge

you with a really,

uh, this phrase here,

not so fun thought.

Do you love God?

Do you love God?

Because this promise

is only for the

people who love God.

Do you love God?

It's an interesting

question to

think about.

Do you love God?

And probably what

you're doing right

now is what I did

when I thought of

this question for

myself and I was

like, oh, lemme go

through the checklist

of the things I do

that show I love God.

'cause obviously

there's gotta be a

checklist so I can

measure whether I can

answer the question,

do I love God?

Right?

And if I get all

the checks in

the box right,

cha-ching, Andy,

weight lover of God.

What happens if

I don't get all

the boxes checked?

Right?

What does that

look like?

It's interesting.

I wanna throw a word

in here that I think

is critical to our

understanding of

love, and it's this

word relationship.

You cannot

understand the

complexity of love.

You can't understand

or experience the

fullness of love

outside of the context

of relationship.

Love is designed for.

And within the heart

of a relational God

relationship is the

whole context to

understanding love.

Let me explain and see

if this makes sense.

If you asked me, Andy,

do you love Jamie?

I would say, oh

yeah, absolutely.

I love Jamie and

I'd probably defend

that by giving you

a checklist of the

things I try to do to

show her that I love

her and demonstrate my

love for her, right?

And I would try to,

to show her the list.

Look at all this

stuff that I see.

I love you, right?

and I could

feel pretty

good about that.

We're gonna have a

marriage retreat in a

couple weeks, and it

probably can't come

too soon for some of

us husbands to spend

a little time working

on some of this

because let me just

tell you a secret.

I don't remember

the last time I got

a hundred percent

on the checklist.

In fact, sometimes

there's days where I

love my life, but I

love myself more that

day and I'm selfish,

and I make choices

under my own pressure

and my own weight

and my own stress.

And all I see is

my circumstance and

what I'm juggling and

what I'm carrying,

and my actions and

my behaviors and my

attitude, and all

of it does not say,

Jamie, I love you.

And if you were to

measure me on those

days and ask, do

you love your wife?

You could probably

make a solid

case based on the

behaviors that you're

seeing and say.

Dude does not

love his wife.

What the heck?

Right?

But I would, I would

swear to you, even on

those days where I'm

failing and struggling

to be the kind of

husband I need to be,

I would, I would

swear to you, I love

my wife, I love her.

I may stink at trying

to show her right

now, but I love her.

And I wouldn't

be lying.

I wouldn't be

making that up.

And I would

desperately hope she

would believe that.

And lemme tell you

something pretty cool.

If we think of

the context of

relationship,

if I were to go to

Jamie and I would

show her my list and

say, Hey look, I did

this, I did this,

I did this, I did

this, I did this.

Do you know

that I love you?

She'd say, yeah, I

know you love me, and

that's cool, but let

me tell you something

incredibly cool

about my wife.

On the days when

I'm the worst and

the days when I fail

so bad to love her

like she deserves.

I think if you asked

her and had a chance

to hear her heart,

she would say to you,

Andy loves me.

Oh, he sucks

right now, , but,

but he loves me.

And guys, that's the

picture of what it

means to love, right?

And to be loved.

And I don't know what

checklist you use to

try to prove to God

that you love him,

but I promise you,

you don't always get

it right and you make

a lot of mistakes

and you fail at it.

And you struggle and

he knows, and he sees.

And the devil says

to you on those

days where you

crush it, great job,

you love God, this

promise is for you.

But then on those

days where you're

messing up and you're

struggling and you get

selfish and you fail.

The devil's right

there saying, thought

you loved God.

Guess not.

But can I tell you,

it doesn't matter

what you think.

It doesn't matter

what you think at all.

He's the one who

knows that on those

days when you're

crushing it, yeah,

you love him.

But even on those days

when you're struggling

and you don't get

it all right, your

heavenly Father

knows your heart and

he knows that even

though you struggle

and even though you

fail, that you're

someone who loves

him and he has grace

for us and tenderness

and kindness to help

us just keep going.

He keeps no record of

wrongs to destroy us.

No to beat us down.

But instead it's

an invitation to

walk in love and

in relationship.

Lemme just say to

you this condition,

those who love him.

If you've reached

out in relationship

to Jesus, he loves

you and you've acted

in that love towards

him, and he knows your

heart, and you don't

have to live in the

fear that maybe this

promise isn't for you,

and then those who

have been called

according to his

purpose, it's the

reason we sing about

it twice called

according to His

purpose, who I've

been called according

to his purpose.

Right?

Just to remind

you, say it twice.

Hey, you've all

been invited and

called according

to his purpose.

Well, pastor,

I'm not called to

be a missionary.

I'm not called to be.

No, that's not

what it says.

Right?

The hope of his

calling from

Ephesians, God has

called us to purpose.

Every one of us.

If we go back to

the very first, uh,

opening section in the

book of Romans that

Paul writes to the

church, he says this.

Those who are in

Rome who are loved by

God, don't miss that.

All you Christians

and saints and holy

ones, aos, you are

loved by God, right?

And you are called

to be saints.

This word in the

Greek is, uh, this,

uh, what is that?

Josiah

s Clays.

All of a sudden I

had an A in my head

'cause I was staring

at, yeah, clays.

Clays.

And this word

means this.

Invite invited.

You are invited

into his purpose.

That's the whole

You're not a holy

one without also

being called.

It's part of the

fabric of the word.

And so when we look

at this condition,

those who have been

called according

to his purpose,

everyone who's a

faithful follower

of Jesus walking in

a relationship with

him, striving to be in

relationship with him.

You're called

according to

his purpose.

So I got some

awesome news for you.

Check this out, this.

We know that in all

things, every single

thing, God is working

for the good of you

who love him, who've

been called according

to his purpose.

Confirmed

double stamped.

You're good.

Our God is at work

taking whatever

you're dealing

with and wherever

you're walking to

bring hope and life.

'cause guess what?

He loves you.

And we can only

love because he

first loved us.

To those who are in

Noblesville, loved

by God, called to be

holy Ones, saints.

God is at work and

we can trust him.

Because what he's

doing is good.

Lord Jesus, thank you

for your incredible

love for us.

Thank you for your

promise that in all

things, no matter what

it is we're dealing

with, you are working.

You are active.

You bringing good,

no matter what Satan

means for evil,

bringing good to us,

the people who love

you and who've been

invited into your

purpose, help us to

walk in that promise,

into that truth and

give us perspective

to see everything that

we face knowing that

you are on the throne

or maybe you got the

at work sign on the

throne and you're

busy doing some stuff

in our situation to

bring about good.

Help us walk in

that I pray this

week in Jesus' name.
