  1. I've been so excited for

  2. this classic rock series.

  3. I'm just saying, come on, Eileen,

  4. 1982, Dex Midnight Runners.

  5. I'm sure they're on the tip of your tongue

  6. when you were like, who sings that again?

  7. Not at all.

  8. Uh, what's sad to me, I think

  9. it's Dax, is the one who's like,

  10. don't you remember that song?

  11. Come on, Eileen.

  12. Like, what did you even

  13. listen to as a kid?

  14. Bro, that's like 1982.

  15. I don't know.

  16. Uh, I really did wonder when we

  17. kind of put this together to have

  18. some awesome time to hear the

  19. story that God's just done in

  20. Eileen's life and her family's life.

  21. Uh, I was like, oh man, we

  22. got this classic rock series.

  23. There's just no way it's gonna work.

  24. Right?

  25. But what a cool thing.

  26. So if you hate that song, I don't, I

  27. don't really know anything about it other

  28. than we had to cut out some of the words.

  29. So just disregard.

  30. Don't go search it.

  31. But we're gonna keep it appropriate this

  32. morning, and I'm gonna invite Eileen Clay

  33. to come join me up here on the platform.

  34. And my lovely wife, Jamie, if

  35. you can sneak up here as well,

  36. we'll give Eileen that one and

  37. then you get this one right here.

  38. And I'm gonna try.

  39. Let's see if we can make this work.

  40. So even, can I get the old ladies?

  41. You?

  42. Yeah.

  43. Well you picked this one.

  44. Don't make me look bad.

  45. Now, Eileen, let's be really honest.

  46. I tried a rocking chair, we

  47. practiced, you know, this setup

  48. a minute and I can't sit still.

  49. It was like a fidget chair, right?

  50. And so Jamie's like, you may

  51. not have that, just so you know.

  52. So, hey, uh, if you're visiting

  53. today, I just wanna apologize

  54. because even though normally we do

  55. weird stuff, this is extra weird.

  56. So it's just a little different, but.

  57. I think, you know, it's probably

  58. not, but we're not apologizing

  59. for what God has planned.

  60. No.

  61. No.

  62. Because that's what White Rock does.

  63. We keep in step with the spirit.

  64. Right.

  65. And the spirit once I lean up here today.

  66. Yeah.

  67. So we're excited to see what

  68. he's gonna do about that.

  69. And I'm the one who has to deal

  70. with, God sent you here when

  71. I wasn't preaching to visit.

  72. So I don't know what that feels like,

  73. but uh, yeah, we'll go from there.

  74. So, uh, I think we're all comfortable.

  75. Are you guys comfortable?

  76. I actually could not have planned this

  77. better because we spent 15 hours with

  78. the teens at the ark encounter yesterday.

  79. So I really want to sit down Eileen.

  80. Very bad.

  81. So this is, uh, this is kind of neat.

  82. So, uh, what we're gonna do,

  83. guys, um, many of you have

  84. had a chance to meet Eileen.

  85. We have some family and friends

  86. who know you better than any of us.

  87. And, uh, how long have you

  88. been here at White Rock?

  89. Do you remember what we,

  90. A little over a year.

  91. About a year and a half.

  92. You have to hold that super close

  93. 'cause we're about a year and a half.

  94. Oh, there you go.

  95. Because White Rock technology, right?

  96. Yeah.

  97. And I have to tell you why I came here.

  98. Her because, um, I'm 91 years old

  99. and so I know that one of these days

  100. probably before too awfully long,

  101. I'm gonna be going home to heaven.

  102. And I told my son, he and his wife

  103. had gone, have gone to Riverview for

  104. quite some time and their family.

  105. And I said, I need a small church

  106. where the pastor knows me and when

  107. I pass away, he doesn't have to go

  108. around asking everybody what can

  109. I say about Eileen at the funeral?

  110. So here we are.

  111. Yeah.

  112. Yep.

  113. That's great.

  114. But, but well hang on.

  115. Oh, in a year and a half,

  116. we have plenty to say.

  117. Eileen, just so you know.

  118. Well, he told me he's read the book, so

  119. he knows a lot of stuff to say about me.

  120. Do it does help if you write

  121. your own book, just so you know.

  122. Yes, go ahead.

  123. Sorry.

  124. And her first Sunday was when we

  125. were at Women's Retreat, many of us.

  126. And she still came back after that.

  127. So, yes.

  128. Yes.

  129. That's impressive.

  130. Well, all the women and Joe Williamson

  131. couldn't believe I came back.

  132. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

  133. If you've ever been here when the

  134. women are away, just know that.

  135. Yeah.

  136. I should, let me backtrack.

  137. That's not as, that's, that's way weirder

  138. than what we're doing this morning.

  139. This is very good.

  140. So, yeah.

  141. Yeah.

  142. Well, Eileen, um, actually this would

  143. be kinda interesting how many people

  144. have actually got Eileen's book.

  145. Understand.

  146. Okay.

  147. Perfect.

  148. How many of you guys have

  149. finished reading Eileen's book?

  150. Alright, good.

  151. Don't spoil anything.

  152. Okay.

  153. Just keep it to yourself.

  154. Alright.

  155. Um, but, uh, tell us maybe a little

  156. bit about how this, like this book

  157. kind of has been in the works for

  158. a while and then shelved a little

  159. bit and just feel like God's kind of

  160. opened some doors finally for Yes.

  161. Um, it actually started in,

  162. uh, about 1990 when, um, after.

  163. Hmm, almost 20 years of marriage.

  164. My husband, who was a police officer,

  165. um, left me for a woman five years

  166. older than our oldest daughter.

  167. Very heartbreaking time.

  168. And, uh, it just tore

  169. our lives up completely.

  170. Uh, the children and mine,

  171. we had three children.

  172. And as a result of what transpired

  173. over the years, and that's where I'm

  174. gonna lead you up to, but because of

  175. what all happened over a period of 10

  176. years or so, um, the Lord, it was in

  177. 1979 that the, the divorce happened.

  178. And in 1990, then because of what had

  179. happened, um, the woman who broke up our

  180. marriage and I wrote the book together,

  181. it ended up not being published, though

  182. we had contacted several publishers.

  183. Um, and then about November of last

  184. year, I started working on it again

  185. at the prompting of a lot of you

  186. right here, and you know who you are.

  187. You were my mainstays.

  188. Um, and because of that, I really felt

  189. like the Lord was saying yes, it's time.

  190. It's time.

  191. You know, God's timing is always perfect.

  192. Yeah.

  193. We may try to do things ahead of

  194. him, but his time's always perfect.

  195. Yeah.

  196. And, uh, it was hard for us to understand

  197. why it was delayed, but, um, well,

  198. and I, I think what's really cool to

  199. me is, um, as we've talked about this

  200. and been trying to figure out how we

  201. can do this and share the story, and I

  202. love, and if you know Eileen, you know

  203. this, but I love Eileen's hearts like.

  204. This is not the story of

  205. Eileen the greats, right?

  206. Like Eileen is not, she

  207. has stuff in her story.

  208. She's like, oh Jesus, please do I

  209. have to share any of that, right?

  210. Because this isn't about perfect people.

  211. This is about a perfect God who loves us.

  212. But all of us come in our

  213. brokenness and all of us have

  214. walked through different things.

  215. And this is a story about God's

  216. ridiculous ability to transform.

  217. I don't even know if you could

  218. say beauty outta ashes, like

  219. nuclear waste into beauty.

  220. Um, and what a story that God

  221. has told and done in your life.

  222. It's a story about God and his love.

  223. Uh, it definitely is.

  224. In fact, that's one thing

  225. I say over and over.

  226. I don't want people to see Eileen.

  227. I want them to see Jesus Christ alive

  228. and at work and being glorified.

  229. 'cause he's promised us that

  230. even in the most difficult

  231. circumstances, he will bring good

  232. from it and he will be glorified.

  233. Yeah.

  234. So, you know, we may feel defeated.

  235. We may feel like, oh, how can it be good?

  236. Come out of this trust God, trust him.

  237. Well, Eileen, since this is a

  238. church filled with illiterate

  239. people, I'm just kidding.

  240. We can read books, we're good, but I don't

  241. wanna ruin anything, uh, you know, for

  242. those who really want to read the book.

  243. And we do have books in the back that

  244. people can purchase and you can get an

  245. autograph, copy, all kinds of fun stuff.

  246. If you brought your copy, Eileen's gonna

  247. make a copy or a autograph on it for you.

  248. Sign something.

  249. That's kind of neat.

  250. But, um, when you hear, when you just

  251. get the hook of wrote a book with the

  252. woman who broke up our marriage, like

  253. that's enough to be like, uh, hang on.

  254. Could you tell me a little bit about that?

  255. So maybe you could just walk us through

  256. a little bit of the story and maybe

  257. we'll pause along the way and, and

  258. interrupt you probably, but Okay.

  259. That sound your plan.

  260. Yeah.

  261. Feel free to interrupt.

  262. I, I'm pretty good at interrupting.

  263. Jamie says, so.

  264. Yeah, we'll work on that.

  265. Well, first of all, lemme just

  266. tell you a little bit about myself,

  267. that I grew up in a Christian

  268. home, so I had a godly foundation.

  269. And even as a kid, I remember,

  270. um, just yearning to please Jesus.

  271. And back in my day, we

  272. had two week revivals.

  273. We always lived out in the

  274. country, so we didn't have a car.

  275. So we walked every night to the revivals

  276. and I always sat on the front row.

  277. And when the invitation was

  278. given, I was always at the altar.

  279. My heart hungered to know Jesus.

  280. I sang, my mother said, I sang every

  281. night, sing myself to sleep till

  282. I couldn't sing words anymore, and

  283. then I would hum until I fell asleep.

  284. I remember doing that, my heart hungered,

  285. to know Jesus and to walk with him.

  286. We lived in, well, of course, like every

  287. young girl I yearned to be married,

  288. grow up and be married, and have.

  289. Family.

  290. And so, um, when I was 24, I

  291. met the love of my life and we

  292. married and had three children.

  293. My youngest is sitting

  294. back in the audience.

  295. My two girls are not here today.

  296. Um, Mick as we know him, is

  297. Carl ii he named for his dad.

  298. I had serious health conditions, uh,

  299. pneumonia, and a thyroid condition.

  300. So I understand your thyroid condition.

  301. Um, and because of that, the, uh, doctors,

  302. three different doctors said I would

  303. never be able to get pregnant again.

  304. If I did, I would not carry it.

  305. But we serve a god of miracles.

  306. Isn't it wonderful?

  307. 'cause I have two more kids

  308. that prove those doctors wrong.

  309. Um, after we moved to

  310. Indiana from Akron, Ohio.

  311. My husband got on the police department.

  312. I was working at the Christian

  313. school where our, our children

  314. attended, and that's when he

  315. got on the police department.

  316. And we were excited about that.

  317. What an opportunity to be a police

  318. officer, but we didn't know the downfalls

  319. that come with so many police officer

  320. jobs and firemen and, you know, uniforms.

  321. Um, and so it was during that time

  322. in nine, I don't know exactly, 1978.

  323. So when he met one of the dispatchers

  324. and became involved with her,

  325. and that led to divorce in 1979.

  326. Very heartbreaking time, as I said.

  327. And

  328. when he, well, he left for a while and

  329. then came back and I was so excited

  330. because when he left, the first thing

  331. I did was fall on my face before the

  332. Lord and begin to plead and beg for.

  333. The marriage not to end, but for

  334. us to be able to work it out.

  335. It didn't happen.

  336. In fact, I

  337. went to the her house and broke

  338. the glass out of her door to enter.

  339. And you'll hear, you'll read more

  340. about that when you have a book.

  341. When the book.

  342. But anyhow, that was what then

  343. brought me years later, um, to the

  344. place that I could say to her, when

  345. I had the opportunity to apologize to

  346. her, I need to ask your forgiveness.

  347. And she looked shocked.

  348. And she said, you would need

  349. to ask my forgiveness for what?

  350. And I said, for breaking the

  351. glass out of your door to enter.

  352. And she said, oh, I would've

  353. done worse than that.

  354. Of course you're forgiven.

  355. But that was a time that the Lord

  356. put within my heart a deep love

  357. for her and a desire to see her.

  358. Grow to love the Lord.

  359. So, Eileen, let me pause you there

  360. a sec. 'cause I, I think this is

  361. an interesting part of the book

  362. that I didn't know the story.

  363. I mean, you, the story in and of

  364. itself is, is brutal to walk through.

  365. But something that really hit me

  366. that you, Carl leaves and really

  367. unannounced, very painful for you.

  368. And, and admittedly we're looking

  369. through your eyes in these stories

  370. and Kay's eyes in these stories.

  371. And, uh, it'd be fascinating to talk to

  372. Carl, you know, about, and one day we will

  373. in heaven, which is pretty sweet, right?

  374. Sorry.

  375. Spoiler alert.

  376. That's my bet.

  377. Um, but, uh, I think it was so

  378. heartbreaking to read that you,

  379. you know, Carl leaves, you guys are

  380. going to church, you're just crushed.

  381. You're on your face before the Lord.

  382. And then Carl comes back for a

  383. while and then ultimately after

  384. a few weeks, leaves for good and.

  385. Uh, that was almost more painful to

  386. go through reading that, listening

  387. to where, you know, your heart was,

  388. that that had to be such a brutal,

  389. like not only Lord what happened, but

  390. then God restored in a miraculous.

  391. No, he didn't.

  392. Yes.

  393. So that really had to be a

  394. challenge for your faith, huh?

  395. In that time.

  396. Well, it, that was the time.

  397. Um, I went from her house straight

  398. to my pastor's home, uh, home

  399. in, and that was Johnny Coffin,

  400. some of you know him personally.

  401. Um, and I am so, so, so thankful for that

  402. man and for his total trust in the Lord.

  403. And I can still hear him as he,

  404. he was shocked 'cause he had been

  405. counseling us after Carl came

  406. back the first time or came back.

  407. But anyhow, he started trying to walk,

  408. started walking me through the experience

  409. that I had just had at her house.

  410. And he said, now I want you to

  411. see Jesus walk into that room.

  412. And I'll be honest with you, I didn't

  413. want Jesus to walk into that room.

  414. I wanted to hate them.

  415. In my mind at that time, the first

  416. thought was, they don't deserve Jesus.

  417. For Jesus to come in because

  418. I knew what he would do.

  419. He would forgive him.

  420. And at that point, I wasn't

  421. ready to forgive him either.

  422. And I didn't want Jesus

  423. to do it if I couldn't.

  424. Wow.

  425. So, yeah, I, I'm picturing Jonah sitting

  426. up there watching the city of nfa, right?

  427. He is like, I don't want to go

  428. tell him, 'cause God, you're

  429. gonna forgive him 'cause you're

  430. gracious and loving and I hate him.

  431. Right?

  432. Like that.

  433. You did better than Jonah.

  434. So that's great, Eileen.

  435. Good work.

  436. But wow.

  437. Yeah.

  438. What a what and what an encouragement to

  439. us because we live in a culture that's

  440. so consumed with our justice, right?

  441. We get treated unjustly

  442. and our rights and our.

  443. Our feelings get hurt.

  444. And, and Jesus says, man, if

  445. somebody has problem with you, go

  446. to that person in, in humility and

  447. see if you can make that right.

  448. And this turn the other cheek nonsense

  449. that we don't even talk, you know,

  450. like that's hard stuff to live out.

  451. And it's easy to say in church.

  452. Uh, I don't know.

  453. I don't know how easy it would be to talk

  454. to somebody and pray for somebody and

  455. try to genuinely care about somebody who

  456. just pulled apart the love of my life.

  457. And, um, man, that's so brutal.

  458. Yeah.

  459. It was, it was very painful.

  460. But, you know, the Lord is faithful.

  461. And as Johnny counseled and prayed

  462. with me, I was able to reach that

  463. point of forgiveness and I, I

  464. truly forgave them, both of them,

  465. and asked Jesus to forgive them.

  466. And, uh, that was, that was

  467. a life transforming Yeah.

  468. Place for me right there.

  469. Um.

  470. And I, I do wanna share

  471. one other thing too.

  472. Then, um, right after

  473. that had happened, um,

  474. Wayne and Pam Filburn and Wayne is here

  475. today, um, shared with me that the Lord

  476. was going to bring healing so quickly in

  477. my life that people would marvel at it.

  478. And I can honestly say

  479. that truly happened.

  480. It came so quickly that forgiveness,

  481. that surrender to the Lord, that ability

  482. to, um, communicate love to them.

  483. Um, only gut could have done that.

  484. Yeah.

  485. So, yeah.

  486. Yeah.

  487. It's good to have friends like that.

  488. Mm, yes.

  489. Could have had job's, friends show up.

  490. That's not as helpful.

  491. Right.

  492. True.

  493. That's fair.

  494. That's fair.

  495. Yeah.

  496. Mm. I think I wanna make friends

  497. with Wayne before he leaves today.

  498. That sounds like a guy to know.

  499. That's good.

  500. What a, what a beautiful thing.

  501. But even in your story multiple times,

  502. you referenced the, the support of

  503. God's people in some pretty cool ways.

  504. Um, and man, that's probably something

  505. that, uh, we get pretty isolated and we

  506. get kind of busy doing our own little

  507. stuff, but taking the opportunity to

  508. just stop and pray with people and to

  509. come alongside people who are hurting

  510. and encourage each other, uh, you have

  511. no idea how powerful that impact is.

  512. Um, absolutely.

  513. Absolutely.

  514. So then it was just pretty much

  515. God did some transforming work in

  516. your heart and you were able to

  517. navigate and then it was like smooth

  518. sailing and perfect from there.

  519. Okay.

  520. That's not, I did read the book.

  521. I'm just, I wish the leading

  522. questions actually, um,

  523. after Carl had, was gone definitely

  524. forever, or at least I thought forever.

  525. Um.

  526. We faced some really difficult times.

  527. In fact, for about 10 years, the, the

  528. children and I lived through utter hell.

  529. Um, I remember times of, uh, him

  530. calling on the phone and talking

  531. with the kids about something

  532. that he or she were upset about.

  533. And of course they were young.

  534. Um, Angie was 12, Mick

  535. was eight at the time.

  536. Cindy was 18, so she was gone

  537. from home shortly after he left.

  538. But I could hear her in the background

  539. telling him what to say as he scolded

  540. the children and seeing them leaning over

  541. the kitchen counter, just sobbing tears.

  542. Um, I can remember Mick, Carl the

  543. second, but we, we call him Mick.

  544. Uh, I can remember him just

  545. longing for time with his.

  546. Sure to the point that finally I reached

  547. out to Big Brothers and uh, he was

  548. assigned a wonderful big brother who spent

  549. lots of time with him, but that did not

  550. replace the yearning for time with Daddy.

  551. So, you know, there were a lot of things.

  552. Uh, the Lord prompted me at different

  553. times over the years to do things for

  554. them because I forgot to mention this.

  555. He had spoken to my heart early on that

  556. he wanted me to love her into his kingdom.

  557. And, um, how many think I

  558. just real quick said, sure.

  559. Nope, I didn't do that.

  560. I laughed like Sarah laughed

  561. when the angel told her she

  562. was gonna bear, bear a child.

  563. And I was clearly, I've ever

  564. heard the Lord speak to me.

  565. He said.

  566. Can you trust me?

  567. I was, I didn't interrupt you.

  568. I was just thinking there's

  569. no way I would've laughed.

  570. Laughter wouldn't have been the

  571. first thing coming outta my mouth.

  572. If God had asked me to do that, I

  573. would've been furious and angry.

  574. And yet, well, I did that,

  575. I did experience anger too.

  576. Yeah.

  577. Um, and, and again thought, why?

  578. Yeah.

  579. Why should I love her into the kingdom?

  580. I don't even like her.

  581. Yeah.

  582. And rightfully so.

  583. Sure.

  584. So, yeah.

  585. Wow.

  586. But God told you, but God

  587. asked, but because, go ahead.

  588. No, actually, yeah.

  589. Because of that, then he began to impress

  590. upon me to do different things for them.

  591. Um, like for instance, I had an

  592. Olin Mills photo thing planned, you

  593. know, where you could get pictures

  594. taken over the year periodically.

  595. And I wasn't gonna have any more

  596. pictures taken after what had happened.

  597. And so the Lord said to my heart.

  598. Carl Kay could have a family picture

  599. taken and you could let them have

  600. your children in the picture.

  601. Um, okay, change my heart then,

  602. Lord, because I can't do it.

  603. But again, when we ask and truly desire

  604. a change in our hearts and our attitudes,

  605. he moves and I offered it to them, and

  606. they did have a family picture taken.

  607. We still have that today.

  608. Another thing was for their anniversary,

  609. the Lord said, give them a gift card.

  610. So I gave them a gift card, but, but

  611. you know, the, the longer, the quicker

  612. my love for her grew as the Lord

  613. was changing my heart, the more, the

  614. easier it was to give these gifts.

  615. With, with genuine love

  616. in my heart and a desire.

  617. In fact, I had said to her at one point,

  618. Kay, more than anything in the world, I

  619. want you guys to have a, a long, happy

  620. marriage, but the only way that can

  621. happen is if your hearts are surrendered

  622. to Jesus and he's Lord of your home.

  623. And I can still see her.

  624. She just stood, I, she said, oh, whatever.

  625. And so as I, I, I was at her house

  626. at that time, and as I stood to

  627. leave, I said, can I give you a hug?

  628. And she said, yeah.

  629. And she just dropped her hands

  630. down beside her and I hugged her

  631. and she, she didn't reciprocate.

  632. But, you know, seeds planted along

  633. the way and the Lord brings fruit from

  634. those seeds that have been planted.

  635. So, man, amen.

  636. I don't even really.

  637. Like Eileen, it's fun as a preacher to

  638. like share God's truth and help people

  639. think about application, but like

  640. you're in territory that doesn't exist.

  641. That the people who, who hurt you so

  642. deeply that you show grace and kindness

  643. and sacrificial love back to them.

  644. And it's not phony and

  645. it's not some agenda.

  646. It's just because of the grace

  647. and the transforming that

  648. God's done in your heart.

  649. And only because of that are

  650. you able to express love.

  651. 'cause it probably wasn't

  652. even your love really.

  653. Right.

  654. It was our Heavenly

  655. Father's ridiculous love.

  656. Yes.

  657. Right.

  658. Wow.

  659. Yeah.

  660. So many people have said, who know our

  661. story have said I could never do that.

  662. And my immediate response is, neither

  663. could I. Yeah, that's what I said.

  664. But he can, when we're open to allow

  665. him to move and work through us.

  666. Hmm.

  667. And that's what happened.

  668. It, it wasn't me.

  669. Believe me, I'm as human

  670. as the next person.

  671. It was not me and a criminal.

  672. 'cause you broke into a house.

  673. We know that now, that's, he's

  674. gonna make sure that's out there.

  675. He'll probably use that every end.

  676. That, that'll be one of my

  677. notes, just so you know.

  678. Right?

  679. Yeah.

  680. That was quite a, an incident that

  681. was, um, in the early part of it.

  682. And he, after he had come back home and

  683. he, uh, as I left for work that morning, I

  684. was teaching, working a Christian school.

  685. And he said, I have court

  686. duty this morning or today.

  687. And I said, okay.

  688. No, it was the night before.

  689. He told me he would have

  690. court duty the next morning.

  691. And so the children, it was the last

  692. day of school for the children at

  693. a Christian school where I worked.

  694. And uh, I said, will you be home?

  695. By the time the kids come home,

  696. 'cause they had a ride home from

  697. school and Oh yeah, he said,

  698. I'll be home by noon easily.

  699. Well, in my spirit, you know how

  700. the Lord sometimes just prompts

  701. you, there's something not right.

  702. Well, in my spirit, I had this uneasiness.

  703. And so about 1130 I called at the

  704. house and there was no answer.

  705. I waited a couple minutes and

  706. I called again, no answer.

  707. And so come 12 o'clock before

  708. I left, I called again.

  709. Still no answer.

  710. So I, I took the children home myself,

  711. went in the house and he wasn't there.

  712. And I walked in our bedroom and

  713. laying on the, uh, chest at the, in

  714. the side was his, uh, uniform hat.

  715. And my heart broke because he would never

  716. go to court without being in full uniform.

  717. And so I knew.

  718. And that was when I finally was almost one

  719. o'clock and I needed to be back to work.

  720. I locked the door and told the

  721. kids, don't answer the door.

  722. All the things you tell your kids.

  723. And drove by the police station, the

  724. courthouse, every place I could think of.

  725. And finally, the one place I did think

  726. of and didn't want to think of her house.

  727. And as I, I remember as I turned onto her

  728. street, I said, Lord, don't let it be.

  729. Please don't let it be.

  730. And his motorcycle was parked in her

  731. driveway and I just dropped my head

  732. on the steering wheel and sobbed,

  733. and I pulled in the driveway and I,

  734. she had a bench sitting downstairs.

  735. And I, it was the, it was an upstairs.

  736. And um, I just sat down on that

  737. bench for quite some time and

  738. that's when I broke out the glass.

  739. I finally thought.

  740. I guess I'll just go upstairs.

  741. Yeah, but you, you metaphorically

  742. and re met your breaking point.

  743. Right?

  744. It was right there man.

  745. And that same lady who is totally

  746. shattered, like the glass ends

  747. up rejoicing and celebrating

  748. when Kay comes to faith in Jesus.

  749. Like and that was real.

  750. That wasn't something you

  751. made up to put in the book.

  752. Right.

  753. That was real.

  754. That was very real.

  755. Wow.

  756. That was very real.

  757. So you were really actually happy

  758. that she came to faith in Jesus.

  759. Like really?

  760. I was like, this is a safe place.

  761. Eile.

  762. You could be honest with us.

  763. That was, well, can I back up first?

  764. Oh, you can do it anything you want.

  765. I need share with you folks.

  766. I'm gonna do it.

  767. That life as a single adult,

  768. uh, sometimes opens doors for

  769. doors We'd rather have closed.

  770. And that happened with me.

  771. Um, I met a man and became

  772. involved with him in the wrong

  773. manner for a single person, and

  774. it went on for a year and a half.

  775. And spiritually I felt myself drying up.

  776. I still was active in all the stuff at

  777. church, all the things people thought I

  778. was this wonderful Christian lady and I

  779. did love the Lord, but I sure was being

  780. disobedient to what I knew to be truth.

  781. Hmm.

  782. And, uh, the Lord so loved me.

  783. I call him the hound of heaven

  784. because he will do anything to draw

  785. his wayward children back to him.

  786. His love for us is so deep.

  787. Yes, and it is not dependent

  788. on what we do or do not do.

  789. It is unconditional.

  790. He sent two women to my house,

  791. and when they walked up on

  792. there was all glass in my door.

  793. When they stepped up on the

  794. porch, I saw them come up and

  795. I knew why they were there.

  796. And I said to the Lord,

  797. why did you send them?

  798. There are two powerful prayer

  799. warriors from our church.

  800. I opened the door for them, and those

  801. of you that know me, know me as a

  802. friendly person, outgoing, friendly,

  803. believe me, I was not friendly to them.

  804. I opened the door, I stepped

  805. back, crossed my arms.

  806. Didn't even say come in,

  807. just stepped out of the way.

  808. And they came in and

  809. began to share with me

  810. that the Lord knew what I was

  811. doing and was not pleased.

  812. And he wanted me to repent.

  813. And I'll be honest, I, I look

  814. back on now and I think, how

  815. could I have been so heartened?

  816. I sat, and that's why I told Pastor

  817. I wanted to rocking chair up.

  818. I sat like this

  819. as they talked, and finally one of

  820. them said, we're getting nowhere.

  821. Let's pray.

  822. Amen.

  823. There you go and pray.

  824. They did.

  825. And the spirit of brokenness came over

  826. my heart and repentance, and I sobbed

  827. before the Lord as his forgiveness.

  828. My life was transformed once again.

  829. Once again, and I knew I

  830. belonged to Jesus Christ.

  831. My sins were forgiven.

  832. I was right before, and once again,

  833. it doesn't matter how long we've walked

  834. with the Lord, unless we keep active

  835. in Bible reading, in prayer, in seeking

  836. his space, in being in His presence.

  837. We are susceptible to

  838. the lies of the enemy.

  839. To the attacks.

  840. To the temptations.

  841. But we don't have to be.

  842. We don't have to be.

  843. Amen.

  844. Amen.

  845. Man, I love, I love that you

  846. share in your book that account.

  847. If you've talked to Eileen

  848. about it, I didn't want to.

  849. I was gonna say.

  850. Mm-hmm.

  851. And it wasn't in the 1990 copy, right?

  852. It was the, it was what

  853. God told you lately?

  854. Yes.

  855. That you had to add for this one.

  856. Yeah.

  857. I had it already to send to the publisher

  858. and the Lord said, you forgot something.

  859. And, and it's probably worth noting

  860. that Eileen and I, a few weeks ago,

  861. she gave me a copy of what she thought

  862. maybe we would share here today.

  863. And then she caught me

  864. after church was like.

  865. Uh, I might have left out.

  866. One part I need to put too, none of us

  867. are proud of the, the mistakes, right?

  868. And the devil loves to bring shame

  869. and there's guilt 'cause of our sin.

  870. But Jesus says, come and

  871. repent and I make you clean.

  872. And that thing we talked about

  873. last week, that cycle of shame.

  874. That's, that's from the enemy.

  875. That's not from God.

  876. God doesn't shame us.

  877. That's about, I mean, shame is

  878. about our character and that's,

  879. God says, you're my child.

  880. Guilt is about maybe a

  881. choice and an action.

  882. And he gives us opportunity

  883. to come back and repent.

  884. And, um, I, I love, I love it.

  885. I don't know if you guys are like me, but

  886. sometimes you go into a church and you see

  887. an older person who obviously has been a

  888. saint since diapers and you're like, ah,

  889. I could never be as saintly as they, uh,

  890. it's just refreshing to be reminded that.

  891. We're just real people walking through

  892. this life and there's failures and

  893. there's sin and there's brokenness,

  894. and we gotta keep coming back to

  895. Jesus and saying, Lord, see if

  896. there'd be any wicked way in me.

  897. Or maybe God brings somebody into

  898. our life to, to remind us like David

  899. had, or you had friends that say,

  900. Hey, God knows and he loves you.

  901. I mean, that was love.

  902. That wasn't, that wasn't the, the Jesus

  903. police coming to get you, you know?

  904. Yeah.

  905. It was the hound of heaven.

  906. That hound of heaven ran after me.

  907. But yeah, it was, yeah, it was.

  908. Well, and I wanna say something here that,

  909. um, before we jump back to Case salvation.

  910. When I read the book, and I'll do a

  911. quick book plug, this is a very easy

  912. read and it gives you three perspectives.

  913. Um, every chapter has Eileen

  914. and Kay and Carl's perspective.

  915. And maybe you guys have found

  916. yourself in this situation of a

  917. blended family and the pain and the

  918. brokenness that comes through it.

  919. And maybe you haven't, but I, the

  920. Holy Spirit spoke through this book

  921. for, um, for me, the reminder about

  922. miscommunication and how quickly that

  923. can happen if we choose to fight for

  924. our own agendas and not God's agenda.

  925. And, um, I, the, the way God was

  926. glorified through this book was you

  927. being a willing vessel to do what

  928. God wanted to do, even though your

  929. circumstances and community and you

  930. had all the reasons to, to act poorly.

  931. Um, and over and over God used

  932. those opportunities when you

  933. didn't fight for your own thing,

  934. but you let God fight for you.

  935. And it was incredible.

  936. And I think part of you said a year and

  937. a half that you lived in disobedience.

  938. Um, I know God wanted you to get back

  939. on clear path with him to be able to, to

  940. move rapidly in the ways that you didn't

  941. even know were needed, you know, um,

  942. for case salvation and things like that.

  943. And so I just wanna challenge you,

  944. even if this is not situation that does

  945. relate to your life, I would encourage

  946. you to read it and be reminded of how

  947. powerfully God can work when we stay

  948. keeping our eyes fixed on him and not

  949. letting others' perspectives or what

  950. we feel entitled to get in the way.

  951. So, um, I just wanted to comment on that.

  952. Yeah.

  953. Yeah.

  954. And um, as far as her salvation, now, you

  955. know, like I said earlier, she was five

  956. years older than our oldest daughter, so

  957. she was 19 years younger than my husband.

  958. Um, but the day came that she called me

  959. on the phone one day and wanted to know

  960. if I could teach her shorthand in typing.

  961. And I said, sure, I would love to do that.

  962. So she and our oldest daughter came

  963. once a week, I think it was once a week,

  964. and I would teach them shorthand and

  965. finally ended up that Cindy dropped out.

  966. But Kay continued teach 'em her

  967. shorthand and, and typing skills.

  968. And then after the lessons were

  969. over, we would just sit and talk.

  970. And over a period of time there, the

  971. rapport between us just deepened.

  972. And I think she began to sense

  973. that there really was genuine

  974. love in my heart for her.

  975. Mm-hmm.

  976. And she was just like my own daughter.

  977. I mean five years older

  978. than our oldest daughter.

  979. And so, anyhow, um, so the time came that,

  980. and Cindy was still there at the time

  981. that I said to her one day, would you like

  982. to pray and ask Jesus into your heart?

  983. And she said, yeah, yeah, she would.

  984. So she did, she prayed and

  985. asked Jesus to forgive her sins.

  986. Well, there was still a lot

  987. of struggles after that.

  988. She was an agnostic.

  989. She had never had any teaching,

  990. spiritual teaching at all.

  991. Um, and so it was a baby

  992. beginning to take baby steps.

  993. And so there were still many

  994. rough years, but the time came.

  995. Okay.

  996. Time was, yeah, the time came when,

  997. um, she called me in tears one day and

  998. she said, can I come over and talk?

  999. And I said, absolutely.

1000. She came over and she was just

1001. sobbing and she sat down and she was

1002. a very heavy woman, and she sat down

1003. in the chair and I melted her feet.

1004. And, uh, she said, Eileen, um,

1005. I know you, you nor God can.

  1006. Never truly forgive me,

1007. but could you at least try?

1008. And I said, okay, I forgave you years ago.

  1009. Mm-hmm.

1010. And I said, all you have to do is

1011. ask Jesus and he'll forgive you.

1012. And she, I said, would you like to

1013. pray and ask him to forgive you?

  1014. And she said, yes.

  1015. So she did.

1016. I let her in a prayer and she

1017. prayed and asked him to forgive her.

1018. And then she said to me, and

  1019. I know that I'll just carry

1020. this guilt the rest of my life.

1021. And I said, no, no, no.

1022. You won't have to carry the

1023. guilt the rest of your life.

1024. I said, you can just, um, ask Jesus

1025. to lift it from you, and he will.

1026. And so again, a letter and a prayer

1027. asking him to freer from the guilt.

1028. When she left, she said, I just

1029. thought she just tried to be nice.

1030. I know I'll carry the Guiltless way.

1031. And on the way home she said,

1032. I was laughing and crying

  1033. and singing and praying.

1034. She said, I pulled in in front of the

1035. house and I realized the guilts all gone.

1036. He really had lifted it.

1037. She said it was just like a burden

1038. that hung on her and it was gone.

  1039. He's faithful.

  1040. He's faithful.

  1041. Wow.

1042. And what else really matters, right?

1043. Like Kay is gonna be

  1044. an eternity with Jesus.

1045. We're those of those who know

1046. Jesus are gonna be a you, Carl, all

1047. three of you getting to hang out

1048. there and still like each other.

1049. But we get so caught up in the

1050. stuff of this life and our own

1051. injustice and the moments and the,

1052. just the circumstances of things.

1053. But I mean to see to the love of our God.

1054. It doesn't make sense, right?

1055. Like it just doesn't, because there

1056. ought to be some anger and there

1057. ought to be some punishment and some

1058. hatred in there somewhere, you know?

1059. And yet it's just not who he is.

  1060. He just loves.

1061. And what a beautiful thing

1062. to, to read in that book.

1063. Her freedom and it being like, I

1064. mean, she destroyed your marriage.

1065. I mean, you can blame it on

1066. a lot of things too, right?

1067. But she was, she was part of it.

1068. And yet, instead of carrying that

1069. guilt and that shame for the rest

1070. of her life, she didn't, she didn't.

1071. And she walked in freedom and love and

1072. joy and that same thing's available to us.

1073. But I mean, and how often does the

1074. enemy just deceive us into believing

1075. and owning our guilt and our shame?

1076. And God could never love me.

1077. Uh, I had somebody tell me this.

1078. Maybe it was just, I

1079. don't know who it was.

  1080. Uh, it.

1081. Somebody told 'em about like,

1082. Hey, do you, do you get cleaned

1083. up before you go into the shower?

1084. No, you go into the shower,

1085. you get cleaned up, right?

1086. And so many of us are like, I, I'm too

1087. dirty to go see Jesus or God in my filth.

  1088. He wouldn't accept me.

1089. And it's like, no, no,

1090. no, he, he is the shower.

  1091. Let's go.

1092. Come in here and get clean and

1093. get free from all of this bondage

1094. of sin and guilt and shame

1095. 'cause we don't have to carry it.

  1096. It's a beautiful story's.

  1097. Story's.

1098. And I don't know, you know, I think about

1099. all of you here today, and there are

1100. probably some of you that are carrying

1101. a ton of guilt, maybe unforgiveness.

1102. You know, the Lord knows your heart,

1103. regardless of what you may portray

1104. on the outside, just as he knew mine.

1105. So just remember, it doesn't

1106. matter what your burden, what

1107. your guilt, what your sin is.

  1108. He's a father that loves you.

  1109. That died for you.

1110. And Rose victorious from the grave.

1111. And he's right now sitting

1112. at his father's right hand

1113. interceding for every one of us.

  1114. Mm-hmm.

1115. He sees when we fall, he doesn't put

1116. blame, he doesn't accuse us, but he

1117. loves us and he calls us back to him.

1118. And if that's you here

  1119. today, he's just waiting.

1120. He's just waiting for you.

1121. You speak the word father,

1122. forgive for father heal, and

1123. it's yours just like that.

  1124. Mm-hmm.

  1125. Yeah.

1126. In fact, we're gonna have Rusty sneak up

1127. here and Robin at the piano for a minute.

1128. We're gonna sit right here in

  1129. this nice comfortable space.

1130. And uh, we decided early on that we wanted

1131. to give people an opportunity to respond

1132. to what God maybe wants to do in them.

1133. And so, uh, we're just gonna play a

1134. little music for a minute and we're

1135. just gonna sit in this space, but.

1136. We'd like to invite you to

1137. think about, nah, you don't

1138. have to think about anything.

1139. Probably the Holy Spirit already is

1140. working on the things that you know are in

1141. your heart that are areas of maybe guilt

1142. and shame, maybe some brokenness and hurt.

1143. But we want to take a few minutes and

1144. give you an opportunity to, to come

1145. and to pray at this simple little

1146. altar of steps and just to lay some

1147. of those things at Jesus's feet.

1148. 'cause he loves you so much and if

1149. you listen to the story, there's just

1150. nothing else that really matters more

1151. than eternity with Jesus this life.

  1152. It's all temporary.

1153. These relationships and the messes and the

1154. hurts and the pain, we can hold onto that.

1155. We can hold onto anger, we can hold onto

1156. bitterness, but it just destroys us.

1157. And maybe some people here this morning

1158. that need to come and just kneel and

1159. say, Jesus, can you take this because

1160. I've been carrying this guilt and this

1161. anger or this shame and I don't even know

1162. how I can keep staggering through it or

1163. I don't even know what to do with it.

  1164. But that's the beauty.

1165. You don't have to do anything

1166. but just come to him and and ask.

1167. And he wants to meet you in that space.

1168. So would you bow your heads for just

1169. a moment in this time and we're just

1170. gonna give the Lord an opportunity

1171. to, to work how he wants to.

1172. And if you'd like to come pray,

1173. invite you to do that and see

1174. what the Lord wants to do in you.

  1175. I don't want to interrupt anybody's

1176. prayer time or focus, but I just want to,

1177. I just wanna take a second enough.

  1178. I don't mix here this morning.

  1179. Know where he's at.

  1180. Is he here?

  1181. Still here up.

1182. I just wanna say this, man.

  1183. It's uh, it's gotta be really

1184. hard to sit here, have your whole

1185. life story spread out everywhere.

1186. I just want you to know that.

1187. Thank you for letting your mom share this.

1188. Got to hang out with your son

1189. yesterday for a long time at the ark.

  1190. That was fun.

  1191. Maybe not as fun.

  1192. We'll see.

1193. Um, but I'm just thinking about how

1194. much, you know, makes a grown man with

1195. his own kids and got life right and not

1196. trapped back in the past and navigating

1197. the good things Jesus is doing now.

1198. My heart just breaks for

1199. all of the hurt that's here.

1200. You know, some of you guys

  1201. walked through messy marriages.

1202. Some of you had moms and

1203. dads who, who left and.

1204. Some, you had moms and dads

1205. who stayed and it was more

1206. miserable had they left, right?

1207. So many things that we walked through

1208. and our God, he doesn't abandon us.

1209. He's present in all of that.

1210. He loves you and we walk through

1211. this fallen world with all of this

1212. brokenness, and for whatever reason,

1213. he's allowed us some free will

1214. to, to do life and make choices.

1215. And sometimes those choices hurt people.

1216. Sometimes those choices make messes even

1217. for us, but it doesn't mean God's not

1218. at work, and it doesn't mean he's not

1219. present and his promise to make beauty out

1220. of the ashes and to cause all things to

1221. work together for the good of those who

1222. love him and who are called according,

1223. called according to his purpose.

  1224. That's, that's the message of this

1225. story to Meile was not perfect.

1226. She's probably still not even perfect.

  1227. And it's not about Eileen's perfection.

  1228. It never was.

1229. It was just about your obedience and your

1230. desire to try to walk in relationship

1231. with your father in heaven and keep

1232. pressing into that even when it was

1233. hard and he met you every step along

1234. the way, and even when you walked

1235. away and you stayed right there.

  1236. Actually, that's not true.

1237. He came after you, right?

1238. And he loves you so much.

  1239. So I don't know what

  1240. you're walking through.

1241. The circumstances, the situations of

1242. your life that feel broken and a mess,

1243. the guilt and the shame, the hurt,

1244. the past, the history, the stuff you

1245. wanna hold onto, that's bitterness

1246. and anger, frustration, or confusion.

1247. It's my hope for you, all of you,

1248. for me, that just the love of

1249. Jesus, so melts all that stuff away.

  1250. It just doesn't matter.

1251. And if you can give to the Lord

1252. the stuff that you're holding

1253. onto so tightly and just live with

1254. open hands and watch him work.

  1255. He can do stuff.

1256. He can do stuff that cannot be done.

1257. Nobody writes a book like this.

1258. Nobody, but our God does stuff that

1259. can be done because he is the God of

1260. the miraculous and the impossible,

1261. except nothing is impossible with him.

1262. So I hope you can buy this book.

1263. If you can't, I want you to

1264. take a copy with you for real.

  1265. Don't even pretend you don't.

1266. If you can't afford it, grab a copy.

1267. Get Eileen to autograph it for you.

1268. Put her email in there so

1269. you can call or text her.

  1270. Whatever.

  1271. No, let's get, don't do that.

1272. I, we want you to take this story and

1273. we want you to be able to live your

1274. story with the same kind of faith.

  1275. And honesty and genuineness

  1276. as you navigate it.

1277. And you may not write it in a book

1278. so we can all read it, but you're

1279. writing it in the courts of heaven.

1280. The story that, your story, that

1281. God is walking out in your life.

1282. And man, it's the bestseller to him.

1283. 'cause you matter so much to him.

1284. Well, and I think, um, when you were

1285. sharing, um, this verse came to mind, and

1286. I think that as you're talking it, it fits

1287. in here too because family of God, this

1288. is, you're here for a reason today, right?

1289. This is God's call to you.

1290. Um, but Paul writes to Titus in, um,

1291. Titus two, and I'm gonna throw the guy

1292. part on here, but I've been so thankful

1293. to have Eileen around for the last year

1294. and a half and to keep reminding me like

1295. you're always older than someone and

1296. you're always younger to someone, right?

1297. And so keep doing the things

1298. God's called you to do.

1299. But Titus two says, as for you,

1300. Titus, promote the kind of living

  1301. that reflects wholesome teach.

1302. Teach the older men to exercise

1303. self-control, to be worthy of

1304. respect and to live wisely.

1305. They must have sound, faith, and

1306. be filled with love and patience.

1307. Similarly, teach the older women

1308. to live in a way that honors God.

  1309. They must not slander

1310. others or be heavy drinkers.

  1311. Instead, they should

1312. teach others what is good.

1313. These older women must train the younger

1314. women to love their husbands and their

1315. children, to live wisely and to be pure,

1316. to work in their homes, to do good,

1317. and to be submissive to their husbands.

1318. Then they will not bring shame on

1319. the word of God and it goes on.

1320. But I'm just very thankful for Eileen's

1321. testimony, what she's put out there in her

1322. book and what she has shown to her family.

1323. But to me as a younger woman, thank you

1324. for just continuing to trust God and lean

1325. into him, and I really appreciate that.

  1326. So she has a poem she's

1327. going to read to end.

  1328. Did you know that?

  1329. I did.

  1330. Okay.

  1331. I forgot.

  1332. I can't remember.

  1333. Okay.

1334. I write, I do write poetry and.

1335. This poet poem is called Life's Road.

1336. It's one I wrote several years ago,

1337. but it so applies to what we've

1338. shared, what I've shared today.

1339. I thought the road would lead straight

1340. ahead with never a curve or a bend.

1341. I thought it was paved and smooth as could

1342. be, and that I could just sail to the end.

1343. As I started my walk down the long, long

1344. road, there were obstacles of every kind

1345. that caused me to stumble, to cry out

1346. in pain, and at times to lag way behind.

1347. I had not planned for sickness to

1348. strike or for death to knock at my door.

  1349. I thought I was set financially,

1350. didn't know what it was to be poor.

1351. My home had always been filled with

1352. love, and I was sure it would always be.

1353. So the thought of divorce

  1354. was foreign to me.

1355. I didn't want that pain to know my

1356. goal in life was to serve the Lord.

1357. And to him ever faithful be.

1358. I was confident if I just trusted

1359. him, he'd keep my road trouble free.

1360. But as I journeyed along life's road,

1361. I found there was much to learn.

1362. I needed to be reshaped within,

1363. though from sin I'd already turned.

  1364. I learned as I faced the

1365. trials of each day, that in my

1366. father, I must trust He is for.

1367. He is the one who has planned my road

1368. and his ways are always just, it may

1369. seem unfair that I should bear some

1370. sickness or loss, or pain, but he

1371. knows just what experience I need

1372. and his love will always sustain.

1373. So every day as I walk life's

1374. road, I seek his strength and love.

1375. His refining process is preparing me

1376. to be a part of his kingdom above.

  1377. Amen.

  1378. Amen.

1379. Well, I think I'm gonna close this

1380. in prayer here, just a moment.

1381. But we'll let Eileen, maybe

1382. you can escort a lean back to

1383. her table and we'll pray here.

1384. And daughter and your daughter-in-law.

1385. All right, back to the

  1386. table, daughter-in-law.

  1387. Let's go.

1388. Oh, well thank you for this really special

1389. morning, Eileen, and make your family.

1390. Thanks for letting us intrude

1391. into some painful space with you

1392. guys to see the goodness of God.

1393. And, uh, if you walk with Jesus very long,

1394. you kinda kinda learn that these scars,

1395. let you said broad scars aren't meant

1396. for us, they're meant for everybody else.

1397. And when we take those scars and we share

1398. what Jesus did through those oh man.

  1399. There's hope and there's

1400. encouragement no matter where you're

1401. at and what you're dealing with.

1402. So I hope you can take that with

1403. you this morning as we close

1404. and grab the copy of the book.

  1405. Read it.

  1406. I'm not a great reader.

1407. I'm an avid researcher, a wretched reader.

1408. I just get distracted and read

1409. some, some other book or some other

1410. chapter like a squirrel, right?

  1411. I just get lost.

1412. But, uh, I rocked this one out in four

1413. hours just short of Jamie's record.

1414. And, uh, couldn't put it down because

1415. it was compelling to watch and to see.

1416. And maybe it's something that you need

1417. to grab a copy to share with a friend

1418. or a family member, and spread this

1419. message to the people around you in

1420. the circles of influence that you have,

1421. that they might see the hope of Jesus.

1422. Father, thank you for your

  1423. incredible love for us.

1424. We could talk about a lot

1425. of things, but you are love.

1426. Not some kind of phony love that just

1427. lets us do whatever we want and we

1428. never learn or grow or change course

1429. from paths that lead to destruction.

1430. But you are legit, genuine, deep beyond

1431. comprehension love that chases us

1432. down and are our brokenness and our

1433. sinfulness and doesn't beat us up there.

1434. But God offers us life and hope and

1435. forgiveness and restoration that's real.

1436. You invite us into your family, not as

1437. servants, not as second class citizens,

1438. but as legitimate sons and daughters

1439. of your, we don't deserve that.

1440. But Jesus, thank you that

1441. that's what you offer us.

1442. So God, I pray that for everybody

1443. here this morning, people who get

1444. to tune in online eventually, Lord.

1445. Would you please, would you please

1446. remind us of that love personally for us?

1447. Would you please draw us out of

1448. our guilt and our shame outta the

1449. shadows that we find ourselves in,

1450. the struggles out of the bitterness

1451. and anger that's in our hearts?

1452. God, would you encourage us this morning

1453. to be able to just let all that go and

1454. to drive away from church like Kay drove

1455. away singing and smiling, and all of a

1456. sudden realizing that she's free from

1457. all the chains and all the destruction

  1458. and discouragement and hopelessness

1459. that the devil wants us to walk in.

1460. Help us experience your loving

1461. freedom this day, and I pray you

1462. would bless this book and this

1463. message and you would send it.

1464. From Jerusalem to Juth to the

1465. uttermost parts of the earth.

1466. Many people would get to hear what

1467. you're capable of and reach out to you

1468. and experience that in their lives.

  1469. Thank you, Jesus.

  1470. We love you.

1471. In your name we pray, amen.
