  1. Okay.

  2. You can stay right here, rusty.

  3. 'cause I'm sure I've got scriptures

  4. that you will want to read here.

  5. My box.

  6. No, come here.

  7. We're gonna pray for you.

  8. Thank you.

  9. I appreciate that.

  10. This is your, uh.

  11. Yeah, I asked your wife if

  12. this is real, your last Sunday.

  13. Mm-hmm.

  14. She said, well until you get back.

  15. So apparently it's not your last Sunday.

  16. I pray.

  17. Not I pray, not I do want to come home.

  18. That would be good.

  19. Let me pray for you.

  20. Lord, thank you for the opportunity

  21. that you've given Rusty to go and to

  22. preach and I just pray that, uh, you

  23. would prepare a way for him and, uh,

  24. help, help what, uh, you lay on his

  25. heart to be able to get through to

  26. the people that he is sharing with.

  27. Help this to be a, an amazing time for

  28. them, but I pray that it would just

  29. be an amazing time for him and for

  30. you to just do some fabulous things

  31. in his heart and life as he is there.

  32. Thank you for partnering with

  33. him in this venture, your name.

  34. Amen.

  35. Amen.

  36. Thanks.

  37. Thank you.

  38. Okay.

  39. So it was very nice that nobody had a

  40. lot of things to say this morning, 'cause

  41. that, that, uh, gives me more time.

  42. And I, I have a lot this morning.

  43. And, uh,

  44. although I did tell Chris that, that,

  45. uh, everybody knew how long-winded I

  46. was, so they knew I needed the time.

  47. And I told, uh, Derek as I was back

  48. there, there's an old story about a

  49. conference that people were attending

  50. and, and the speaker would last for

  51. about an hour, and then they had

  52. three, four speakers at the same time.

  53. And each guy would get up

  54. and introduce somebody.

  55. And I said, you know, the word must

  56. have got out that I was preaching

  57. this morning because there's so

  58. many fewer people this morning.

  59. And there's this old saying that

  60. this conference, they were to,

  61. the speaker was coming in to speak

  62. and, and everybody was leaving.

  63. There's a handful of people stayed there.

  64. And so when the guy got up to introduce

  65. him, he said, well, I can see that

  66. our speaker needs no introduction.

  67. So everybody knew we want out.

  68. Well, all

  69. we're, we're in a kind of

  70. crazy place in our world.

  71. Uh, we got a war going on in Ukraine.

  72. We've got genocide in Africa.

  73. We got trouble in Venezuela.

  74. We got protests in America.

  75. We had turmoil in our own government

  76. and around the world, but you

  77. know, that's nothing compared

  78. to what's really going on.

  79. The, uh, in the Lord of the Rings.

  80. Those of you who have, have,

  81. uh, watched that particularly

  82. thrilling, uh, gospel film.

  83. Now I can have a little fun with that

  84. because the Lord of the Rings was a

  85. very popular movie and the gentleman

  86. who wrote that was like doing, uh, oh,

  87. they would call it like science fiction

  88. written by a PhD. Uh, it was so full.

  89. The book was so full of, uh.

  90. Hidden messages, if you will.

  91. It was just written in a, in a

  92. unbelievable way that Hollywood

  93. had no idea what it was.

  94. And so they left almost

  95. all of it in there.

  96. And so everything, it, it, it

  97. points to Christ, it points to the,

  98. the sacrifices, everything that

  99. goes on and in quite an odd way.

  100. But there's this little group of people

  101. here, the Hobbits and the story kinda

  102. centers around them, and the hobbits

  103. get to a point where, uh, there's some

  104. really bizarre things going on because

  105. they've left the Shire and they look

  106. at each other and they say, man, what

  107. kind of a story have we fallen into?

  108. They've just bumped into this thing in.

  109. Well, the reality of where we are

  110. at, uh, what happened to my clicker?

  111. This is gonna, uh, well, hey, well,

  112. well, you can't just hand me this thing.

  113. Which one do I push?

  114. We're gonna be here all day.

  115. Press the forward.

  116. That one.

  117. Yeah.

  118. Okay.

  119. So Yeah, it's like old.

  120. It's all wrinkled like me.

  121. Okay.

  122. Um,

  123. the right arrow?

  124. Mm-hmm.

  125. Okay.

  126. Forward is that way to the right.

  127. Okay.

  128. I got it, man.

  129. Technology at its best right here.

  130. Okay.

  131. The reality of it is that

  132. we are living in a war zone.

  133. It doesn't feel like that.

  134. We get up, we go to work.

  135. We watch football game, we attend a

  136. basketball game, we go out to dinner.

  137. We have a nice time.

  138. We enjoy our family.

  139. It doesn't feel anything like

  140. a war zone, but good and evil.

  141. Heaven and hell are in a conflict

  142. that has gone on since the fall.

  143. And the further along we

  144. get down that road, the more

  145. fierce that battle is becoming.

  146. And so Andy, and last year we all

  147. had to pick a word and he said, if

  148. you can pick a word, you can do it.

  149. So let's see if this works.

  150. That's my word for 2026.

  151. Fierce.

  152. Fierce is.

  153. I don't think you even have

  154. to describe what fierce is.

  155. Just think of something that is the

  156. most ferocious thing you can think

  157. of, and that is a picture of fierce.

  158. So, uh, let's look at a couple images

  159. here of the cute little angels.

  160. You know, the little guys with wings

  161. that kind of, some of you have them.

  162. We used to have an angel that we

  163. carried around the church there.

  164. It got lost when it went to

  165. Theresa's house and never returned.

  166. It must have flown off.

  167. It was a cement angel about this

  168. high that took four men to lift.

  169. And when people would go away, they

  170. would come home and they'd find that

  171. a angel would come to their house and

  172. we passed it from person to person.

  173. So we have some pictures here of angels.

  174. They're cuddly.

  175. Little things there.

  176. There is, uh,

  177. you know, there's a reason why in

  178. scripture when men would, women, whoever

  179. would see an angel, the first words

  180. outta the angel's mouth were what?

  181. Afraid.

  182. Yeah.

  183. Don't be afraid.

  184. Okay, so that tells you that maybe there

  185. was something fearful about angels.

  186. These aren't men.

  187. These are angels.

  188. These are angels.

  189. There's an angel and

  190. there's an angel.

  191. Now, I like history.

  192. If you, you don't, well,

  193. you may get lost in this.

  194. But if you go back to World Wari, might

  195. as well put that up there as well.

  196. I've never done this, by the way,

  197. and I will confess, Andy said, do

  198. you want to put scripture up there?

  199. And I am just an old diehard at the thing.

  200. No, if you wanna read the

  201. scripture, bring your Bible.

  202. Okay.

  203. So I'm not putting it up there.

  204. Okay.

  205. But at the start of World War ii, okay.

  206. The first country that really went

  207. to war with Germany was Poland.

  208. And you have the picture of if, if you

  209. will, the church in America right here

  210. in that opening scene of World War ii.

  211. Okay.

  212. The Polish Army got their cavalry and

  213. their horses, and they pulled what

  214. cannons they had, and they went out

  215. in the trenches with their bayonets

  216. and got ready to face the Germans

  217. who came with tanks and planes and

  218. modern artillery and machine guns.

  219. And they just plowed through the Polish

  220. Army like they didn't even exist.

  221. It was just a complete wipe out.

  222. Now,

  223. if

  224. they thought that was preparing,

  225. they weren't ready for that.

  226. And so you come along if God's angels.

  227. Have an image like that.

  228. He's not preparing for an army with,

  229. of the enemy of little horse-drawn

  230. people trying to fight with some

  231. image he's prepared for war.

  232. One of the things, a few years ago,

  233. there was all kinds of books about

  234. angels and, oh my goodness, all,

  235. all sorts of things that were, uh,

  236. oh, how the angels are

  237. involved in our lives and, and

  238. kind of mystical.

  239. I don't want us to get there.

  240. I would like us to go over to

  241. Second Kings chapter six, verses

  242. 12 to 18, so that's Second Kings.

  243. That won't come up there either.

  244. Chapter six, verses 12 to 18.

  245. Now Elisha is being a real

  246. pain in the neck to the king here.

  247. And so the king is going to

  248. his men and he is saying, now

  249. somebody is turning against us,

  250. and his head of his army says,

  251. none of us, my Lord the king,

  252. said one of his officers.

  253. But Elisha, the prophet who is in

  254. Israel, tells the king of Israel the very

  255. words that you speak in your bedroom.

  256. So the king says, go find out where he

  257. is so I can send men and capture him.

  258. The report came back.

  259. He is in Dothan.

  260. Then he sent horses and Char Chariots

  261. strong for, and a strong force there.

  262. And they went by night

  263. and surrounded the city.

  264. And when the servant of the man of

  265. God got up and went out early the

  266. next morning and army with horses and

  267. chariots had surrounded the city and he

  268. says, oh no, my Lord, what shall we do?

  269. Well, Elisha says, don't be afraid.

  270. Those who are with us are more

  271. than those who are with them.

  272. You know, there's nice words.

  273. You probably heard those

  274. said before in church.

  275. And Elisha prayed and said, open the

  276. eyes, Lord, so that my servant may see.

  277. Then the Lord opened the

  278. servant's eyes and he looked.

  279. He saw the hills full

  280. of horses and chariots

  281. of fire all around Elisha.

  282. Okay, those were not men.

  283. Those,

  284. those were the angels of God.

  285. Turn over two Kings, chapter 19 familiar.

  286. Sweet little verse of sweet little angels.

  287. Two Kings Chapter 19

  288. in verse 34 through 36.

  289. For out of Jerusalem will come a remnant

  290. and out of Mount Zion, a ban of survivors.

  291. The zeal of the Lord Almighty

  292. will accomplish this.

  293. Therefore, this is what the Lord

  294. says concerning the king of Assyria.

  295. He will not enter this city.

  296. He had surrounded the city,

  297. but he will not enter this

  298. city or shoot an arrow here.

  299. He will not come before it with shield

  300. or build a siege ramp against it.

  301. And by the way that he

  302. came, he will return.

  303. He will not enter this city, declares

  304. the Lord, I will defend this city

  305. and save it for my sake and for

  306. the sake of David, my servant.

  307. That night, the angel of the Lord

  308. pay attention to that.

  309. He didn't say the angels of the Lord.

  310. He said, the angel of the Lord singular.

  311. One put to death 185,000 in the Assyrian

  312. camp, and when the people got up the next

  313. morning, there were all the dead bodies.

  314. So Sinek, king Assyria broke,

  315. camp, withdrew and returned

  316. to NVE and stayed there.

  317. Deli was killed by his

  318. own sons over in Isaiah.

  319. I like this new Bible,

  320. but boy, pages are thin.

  321. I got a mark everyone.

  322. Isaiah chapter 37 verses 37 or 33 to 37.

    Isaiah 37:37

  323. See if this sounds familiar.

  324. Therefore, this is what the Lord

  325. says concerning the king of Asteria.

  326. He will not enter this city

  327. or shoot an arrow here.

  328. He will not come before it with shield

  329. or build a siege ramp against it.

  330. And by the way that he

  331. came, he will return.

  332. He will not enter this

  333. city, declares the Lord.

  334. I will defend this city and

  335. save it for my sake and for

  336. the sake of David, my servant.

  337. Then the angel of the Lord went out and

  338. put to death 185,000 in the Assyrian camp.

  339. Now, people love to talk about how the

  340. Old Testament is just a series of stories,

  341. and obviously according to the,

  342. the man who drew up the picture

  343. there, the angel of the Lord,

  344. Michael.

  345. Is the one with a little dot on the

  346. center of him, a very fierce angel.

  347. Now, the story of sin him all of the, uh,

  348. kings of that day, they had a big ego.

  349. You know, if you think President Trump

  350. has a big ego, they had big egos.

  351. If you recorded anything that was

  352. ill or degrading about them, uh, that

  353. was the last thing you ever wrote.

  354. And your article died with you

  355. except for, for in the oldest library

  356. that was there in the Middle East.

  357. There is a triangular book, if you will,

  358. stands about five foot tall, and in it.

  359. In the library back there in

  360. Assyria is the story of a king by

  361. the name of Ekra who took his army

  362. and besieged the city of Jerusalem

  363. where all 185,000 of

  364. his soldiers were killed

  365. by an angel of the Lord.

  366. And it remains to this day.

  367. Isn't that cool?

  368. We're gonna remember this.

  369. This was a fierce battle that took place.

  370. Well, let's go over to Daniel and

  371. that chapter 10, Daniel 10, 10 to 21.

  372. And this is Daniel.

  373. He's been praying for 21 days.

  374. Says the hand touched me and sent

  375. me trembling on my hands and knees.

  376. He said, Daniel, you are highly esteemed.

  377. Consider carefully the words that I'm

  378. about to speak to you and stand up for.

  379. I have now been sent to you.

  380. And when he said this to

  381. me, I stood up, trembling.

  382. Then he continued.

  383. Do not be afraid, Daniel, since the

  384. first day that you set your mind to gain

  385. understanding and to humble yourself

  386. before your God, your words were heard,

  387. and I have come in response to them.

  388. But the Prince of the Persian

  389. kingdom resisted me 21 days.

  390. The Prince of Persia,

  391. demonic spirit resisted.

  392. The angel of the Lord having

  393. been sent with a message.

  394. Then Michael, one of the chief prince's

  395. angels came to help me because I was

  396. detained there with the King of Persia.

  397. Now I have come to explain to you

  398. what will happen to your people

  399. in the future for the vision

  400. concerns, a time yet to come.

  401. And while he was saying this to

  402. me, I bowed with my face toward

  403. the ground and was speechless.

  404. And then one who looked like a

  405. man touched my lips and opened

  406. my mouth and began to speak.

  407. And I said to the one standing

  408. before me, I am overcome with anguish

  409. because of the vision, my Lord.

  410. And I feel weak.

  411. How can I, your servant, talk with you?

  412. My Lord, my strength is gone.

  413. I can hardly breathe.

  414. Again, the one who looked like

  415. a man touched me and gave me

  416. strength, did not be afraid.

  417. You who are highly

  418. esteemed, he said, peace.

  419. Be strong now.

  420. Be strong.

  421. When he spoke to me, I was

  422. strengthened and said, speak my Lord,

  423. since you have given me strength.

  424. So he said, do you know why I have

  425. come to you Soon I will return to fight

  426. against the Prince of Persia, and when

  427. I go, the Prince of Greece will come.

  428. But first I will tell you what

  429. is written in the book of truth.

  430. No one supports me against them

  431. except Michael, your prince.

  432. And in the first year of Darius

  433. the Mead, I took my stand

  434. to support and protect him.

  435. Okay.

  436. The message isn't about angels.

  437. The message is about warfare and where we

  438. have this, this war going down, the devil

  439. is coming against God in anything that

  440. he has to do in his biggest weapon is you

  441. people,

  442. because that kind of hatred had to be met

  443. with a fierce love.

  444. It had to be met

  445. with paying a price for us, and so

  446. God cared enough that he sent his son.

  447. To die on the cross.

  448. It wasn't, it wasn't wimpy.

  449. What Jesus was called to do took

  450. everything until it took his life.

  451. God so loved the world that he

  452. went to whatever degree he had to

  453. go to in that war for our souls.

  454. Okay?

  455. We, we look at this like, let's, you

  456. know, coming into church and, and we

  457. wanna pray and, and you know, we want

  458. to be good and we want to do better

  459. and we want to try to do the things

  460. that, that Jesus wants us to do.

  461. And, and there is the

  462. picture of, of Christianity.

  463. Now those angels, the picture

  464. of Christ, that's the picture of

  465. Christianity costing everything.

  466. A war to destroy everything

  467. that is good and holy.

  468. People think, oh, the devil wants you.

  469. The devil doesn't give a rip about you.

  470. Nothing does he care about you.

  471. You have one quality that he wants.

  472. God loved you enough to send his son.

  473. That's how much he loves you.

  474. I, the last time I preached, I shared

  475. about the thing that when God had the

  476. choice to either send Jesus to do this or

  477. save me, he said, I want Marty take him.

  478. That's how much value you

  479. have to God the Father.

  480. That's how much he loves you.

  481. Satan knows that every word of

  482. God's word is true, not part of it,

  483. not most of it, not pieces of it.

  484. It's all true.

  485. And because it's all true, he says, okay,

  486. the thing that will hurt God more than

  487. anything on Earth is if I take them.

  488. That is your value to the enemy.

  489. It's not about how good you are, how

  490. bad, good grief, the Bible is full of

  491. people who are worthless just like us.

  492. You know, you look back and,

  493. and you, you have Moses.

  494. You have David, you have Paul, three of

  495. the greatest people in all of history,

  496. and what do they have in common?

  497. They're all guilty of murder.

  498. You read and study the books in the

  499. New Testament written by a murderer.

  500. You study the pentitude, you

  501. have to go and find answers.

  502. In Genesis written by a murderer,

  503. David, the House of David, a murderer.

  504. It's not about us.

  505. It's not about how good we are.

  506. The devil doesn't care.

  507. He, you're gonna, you're just

  508. so much burnt up ash to him.

  509. And so all he wants is to hurt God.

  510. So that is what he sets out

  511. to do, where pawns to Satan.

  512. We're apprised to God.

  513. So what's our part in this epic battle?

  514. To see to it that we go to church.

  515. Long time ago I shared about a man that

  516. was being offered a job over in Ohio.

  517. Didn't go to our church, but the man was

  518. offering the job, said God's changed my

  519. life and I only want people working for

  520. me that are invested in working for God.

  521. So he said, I want you

  522. to do the interview.

  523. And I said, I don't know

  524. anything about your work.

  525. He said, I don't care.

  526. That's not what I'm looking for.

  527. So I went, interviewed one

  528. of his guys that was supposed

  529. to be a perfect candidate.

  530. And so when I went.

  531. And asked him, I said, this is the first

  532. question that the owner wanted to know.

  533. What are you doing for God?

  534. So I asked him, what

  535. are you doing for God?

  536. He said, well, I, I'm,

  537. I'm going to church.

  538. I

  539. said, okay, but what

  540. are you doing for God?

  541. Well,

  542. I set up the chairs for the Bible study.

  543. I said, well, don't,

  544. those are good things.

  545. Don't get me wrong, but

  546. what are you doing for God?

  547. He said, I don't even

  548. understand the question.

  549. Now, this is a man in his mid forties

  550. who's gone to church his whole life.

  551. You see what we are doing for God?

  552. And the main thing is, well, you know,

  553. maybe I'm raising my kids for the Lord.

  554. That's good.

  555. I am attending church, so that's good.

  556. I'm studying the Bible.

  557. That's good.

  558. But you see there's a war going on.

  559. It's taking people's lives,

  560. their families, everything

  561. about it there to destroy.

  562. And what am I doing in

  563. the scope of that battle?

  564. Well, if I'm not studying God's

  565. word, if I'm not spending time

  566. with him, I'm gonna be unarmed.

  567. So those things are good, but I

  568. need to be prepared to go to war.

  569. So I ain't gonna take my sword

  570. and I'm gonna go out there and

  571. I'm gonna chop the enemy down.

  572. It's a great picture, you know,

  573. put fierce underneath of that.

  574. That's like our friend who would draw

  575. the pictures of the arc with little tiny

  576. arc with the smiley little animals and

  577. the thing sticking all over the place.

  578. Okay.

  579. There was an article written that

  580. my friends out in Idaho sent me and

  581. he said, why is it, this is after

  582. Charlie Kirk was uh, assassinated,

  583. and he said, why is it that the first

  584. religious martyr in America

  585. was somebody who was political

  586. and not out of the church?

  587. And the article simply said, because

  588. the church wasn't a danger to the enemy.

  589. That's sad.

  590. Now I discovered something about

  591. myself a while back, and I'm a fighter.

  592. I am not.

  593. I've never physically fought anybody.

  594. I played basketball years ago, and

  595. in grade school, I think junior

  596. high guy came down the floor and he

  597. was six foot nine in grade school.

  598. That's ridiculous.

  599. And he wasn't very coordinated, but

  600. he was tall enough that he could

  601. just hold the ball up here and

  602. nobody could even touch the ball.

  603. And so we tried to get fouls

  604. on him as easily as we could.

  605. And so I'm taking the ball down to

  606. the court and I stopped right in

  607. front of him and he just ran over me.

  608. And being not very coordinated, you know.

  609. He knocked me down.

  610. Then he stepped on me with one

  611. foot and then the other foot

  612. and stumbled off, and I got up.

  613. I was so angry.

  614. I had to fall underneath my arm over

  615. here, and I had a fist in the other

  616. arm hand, and I turned around and I

  617. looked him right in the belly button

  618. and I thought, this is a bad idea.

  619. That's as close as I ever came to

  620. getting into a physical altercation

  621. with anybody, but I'm a fighter.

  622. I've realized that this

  623. is where I've gotta be.

  624. Now.

  625. I don't, can you kill the lights

  626. so that that shows a little better?

  627. Yeah, that helps.

  628. Because see, most people

  629. would think, well, there's

  630. an angel that isn't an angel.

  631. That's one of us.

  632. That's who we're to be.

  633. We are taking on that

  634. or we're not.

  635. Do you know

  636. the number of churches that

  637. close every year in our country?

  638. Do you know that there is not a church

  639. group from mega to right down here

  640. of nobody that isn't drastically

  641. going downhill in our country?

  642. Not one area of those

  643. churches are going up.

  644. Do you know if you've been around here

  645. and listen to me long enough, you will

  646. know that the average Christian in a

  647. lifetime will lead six tenths of one

  648. person to the Lord in their entire life.

  649. That means, Chris,

  650. that you on your own, if you're

  651. an average Christian, can't

  652. even get Benjamin to heaven.

  653. That's how pathetic it is.

  654. That's why the church in America

  655. is sinking and sinking and sinking

  656. because we're not fighting.

  657. See if I can make this.

  658. Those are my car keys.

  659. What's going on here?

  660. We're not fighting like that other guy.

  661. We're fighting like this.

  662. What we're doing for God isn't

  663. this, it's that other thing.

  664. You know, we're, we're trying

  665. our best just to be good because

  666. the temptation of this world are,

  667. they're overwhelming.

  668. When I'm hungry, I get to eat.

  669. When I feel bad, I get to take a pill.

  670. When, when things are tough, I can go

  671. talk to somebody and have them help me.

  672. So it's not so bad.

  673. I've got ma, this is just good as heaven.

  674. I don't have to prepare for it.

  675. I don't have to prepare

  676. other people for it.

  677. It's all good.

  678. I don't have to worry about where

  679. my next meal is coming from.

  680. I don't have to worry about

  681. how on earth I'm gonna get

  682. medicine to keep my kids alive.

  683. I can just sit back and take it easy.

  684. I am not preparing for war,

  685. uh, over in, uh,

  686. you know, I've put my phone back here,

  687. so I have no idea what time it is,

  688. but I guess when I'm done, I'll quit.

  689. Uh,

  690. it is over in Ephesians

  691. chapter six, 10 to 12.

  692. It talks about putting on

  693. the whole armor of God.

  694. We have to put on the whole armor

  695. of God so that we're prepared

  696. so that we're able to fight.

  697. Two Corinthians chapter 10,

  698. verses three to five, which is

  699. some of my favorite stuff here.

  700. It says, for though we live in the world,

  701. we do not wage war as the world does.

  702. It's not about weapons, it's

  703. not about guns, it's, it is

  704. not about physical training.

  705. We don't wage war like that.

  706. The weapons that we fight with

  707. are not the weapons of this world.

  708. On the contrary, they have divine

  709. power to demolish strongholds.

  710. We demolish arguments and every

  711. pretense that sets itself up

  712. against the knowledge of God.

  713. And we take cap, we take captive every

  714. thought to make it obedient to Christ.

  715. You know,

  716. there's a picture and we

  717. say, well, how do we do that?

  718. Well over a.

  719. In Matthew.

  720. Again, some of my favorite stuff

  721. that I have done for years,

  722. I'm never gonna get there.

  723. The pages are too thin and I

  724. don't have that one marked.

  725. But over in Matthew chapter 16,

    Matthew 16:18

  726. verse 18, Jesus is asking the

  727. disciples, who do you say that I am?

  728. Well, some say that you're this and that.

  729. And Peter says,

  730. you are the Christ, the

  731. Son of the living God.

  732. And Jesus says, no man has

  733. revealed this to you and on this

  734. rock, not Peter, on this rock.

  735. I will build my church.

  736. Who's the church?

  737. That's us Christians.

  738. On the rock of Christian people.

  739. I will build my church.

  740. So that they are the rock.

  741. Jesus is a rock.

  742. We're his people, and I'm

  743. gonna build that church.

  744. And he said, the very gates of hell cannot

  745. prevail against it in a military sense.

  746. When you get to the gates, that's

  747. where the pinnacle of all the power is.

  748. So I like to say it just like this.

  749. I will build my church in the

  750. very pinnacle of all the power of

  751. hell shall not prevail against it.

  752. That's a pretty powerful group of people.

  753. That's somebody who

  754. could take on that guy.

  755. And over in Matthew chapter, chapter

  756. 18, verse 18, he goes on and he

  757. says, you know, in fact, I'm gonna

  758. give you the keys to the kingdom.

  759. Whatsoever you bind on earth will be

  760. bound in heaven and whatsoever you loose

  761. on earth will be loosed in heaven.

  762. That is where Jesus is saying, I'm gonna

  763. stand here and I will make good what you

  764. do, if you're gonna attack the enemy, if

  765. you're gonna go after friends, relatives

  766. that you love, you don't want to see in

  767. hell, I will stand here and if you cut

  768. them loose from the enemy so that they can

  769. hear the truth, I will make good on that

  770. Powerful statements.

  771. Ah man.

  772. Then over in one John, chapter four.

  773. Chapter five, excuse me, verses 14 and 15.

  774. It says,

  775. this is the confidence that

  776. we have in him, that if we ask

  777. anything that is according to

  778. his will, that he will hear us.

  779. And we know that if he hears us, we

  780. have the thing that we have asked for.

  781. Now, if you are gonna go to war against

  782. the devil for people that Jesus loves

  783. and you are gonna fight for their souls,

  784. there isn't anything that is

  785. any more God's will than that.

  786. So you have to take a stand.

  787. You have to go after that.

  788. And you have to make a difference because

  789. the battle that we are in is fierce.

  790. It's not wimpy,

  791. and it's gonna get more

  792. intense in the days ahead.

  793. Lord Jesus, thank you that you loved

  794. us fiercely and that you still do.

  795. And you need us

  796. to pursue you with a fierce

  797. love and stand against the enemy

  798. with a fierce sense of your presence.

  799. And as years ago, Keith Green asked

  800. the question, are you known in hell?

  801. He said, we need to be known in hell and

  802. feared that isn't the picture of us just

  803. barely getting by, just barely hanging on.

  804. Lord, we want to be warriors for you.

  805. And 2026 seems like a

  806. good time to do that.

  807. So

  808. Lord, help us to be as fierce

  809. as the angels who follow

  810. you in Jesus' name, amen.
