  1. Welcome to the Grace Church Weekly Podcast. We're an international church right

  2. in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden.

  3. Each week, we share a message that's rooted in the faithful teaching of God's

  4. Word and open to the vibrant work of the Holy Spirit among His people.

  5. Here's this week's message.

  6. Thank you for Gilbert, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for the gifts that you deposited into him.

  7. God, we thank you, Lord, that as it comes, bring your word, Lord,

  8. that you'll be speaking through him, Spirit, that you would move lightly.

  9. God, we just ask them that you would cause a fruitful heart from your word of

  10. the Lord today. In Jesus' name, amen. Amen.

  11. Hallelujah. Okay, I know in Israel we like Hallelujah so much,

  12. so every time I say Hallelujah, I expect you to respond back by Amen. Hallelujah.

  13. Thank you very much.

  14. Yes, like what Steve has said, my name is Gilbert.

  15. I am one of the elders in Nehemiah Church. and today we got this privilege that I should speak to you.

  16. I am married, Dostela, and I have four teens.

  17. I love Jesus Christ. I'm born again.

  18. Today we are starting a new series titled The Fruit of the Spirit And today

  19. I will talk about one of the fruits of the Spirit.

  20. So before I go deeper into the word of today, let me invite Huzain to come and pray for us.

  21. Okay, so I'm going to be reading from Galatians 5, verse 22 to 23.

    Galatians 5:22–23

  22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance,

  23. kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

  24. Against such things there is no law.

  25. Then I'm also going to read from Isaiah 9, verse 6.

    Isaiah 9:6

  26. For to us a child is born to us a son is given and the government will be on

  27. his shoulders and he will be

  28. called wonderful counselor mighty God everlasting father things of peace,

  29. Amen thank you very much for the readings,

  30. today we'll look at peace as being the one of the fruits of the Spirit,

  31. when you go into somebody's house,

  32. most of the house, you are going to find a fruit bowl.

  33. Above, inside, there is fruit.

  34. And in that bowl, So, the what those fruits look like will enable you to distinguish an apple, banana,

  35. orange, or maple.

  36. And these fruits are put at a place where it's visible for everyone to see.

  37. So, you can go wherever you go, you will see this.

  38. That means these are fruits for the world, which are the product of the tree for helping mankind.

  39. All these apples, bananas, they are there to help mankind.

  40. They are there to help you and live. So even in the Spirit, we have the fruits,

  41. which are spiritual food for helping others. Hallelujah!

  42. We have this spiritual fruit, spiritually.

  43. And these fruits of the Spirit are spiritual characteristics for a believer.

  44. Who is a believer? A believer is someone who accepts Jesus Christ as the Lord and the Savior.

  45. And when you accept Jesus Christ and the Lord and the Savior,

  46. automatically, these fruits, these spiritual fruits are born.

  47. And when these fruits, spiritual fruits, are born in you, they become visible to everyone. world.

  48. So when you receive Jesus Christ, the fruit which has been read,

  49. they become visible and everyone can tell that this is a Christian.

  50. This is a believer. What makes some people to tell that it is the fruit of the

  51. Spirit which are sealed in us? Hallelujah.

  52. So I hope from the first day you received Christ,

  53. those spirits became visible to you and to all the people surrounding you,

  54. that whenever they see you, they notice and they realize that you are Christ's child.

  55. So from Galatians 5, verse 22, K'hiyaan, it mentions this fruit,

    Galatians 5:22

  56. and one of the fruit which it has mentioned, it is peace.

  57. The fruit of peace must be seen to every individual and every believer who accepts Jesus Christ.

  58. So, a believer, when I say peace, I believe.

  59. When I say peace, everyone understands what I mean.

  60. I don't want to ask people saying, what do I mean? When I say, what does peace mean?

  61. Some people will start to go into dictionaries and search for the meaning of the word peace.

  62. But I know and I believe that we understand what it means by the word peace.

  63. But I want to define it for you in a simplest and a spiritual way so you can

  64. understand what it means.

  65. Yes, this piece, I mean piece, it is the calmness of the heart.

  66. The calmness of the heart and the thoughts based on the understanding that all

  67. things are good in a believer and the Heavenly Father.

  68. So this is the peace I'm talking about. I'm not talking about the peace of the world.

  69. You know, the peace of the world, it is like people...

  70. You hear that there is conflict somewhere, and then they said peacemakers there

  71. to try to bring the peace.

  72. And at the end, those people stays five years, 20 years, 30 years, no peace at all.

  73. A good example is my country in Congo.

  74. From 1996, there have been war, and there have been people, peacemakers all

  75. over the world, having there, trying to bring peace, but there is no peace yet.

  76. Now, the peace. This peace I'm talking about here,

  77. which is the front of the Spirit, is quite different from the word peace. Hallelujah.

  78. When you gain this spiritual gift, when you get this spiritual fruit in you, you have peace.

  79. So no matter what you are going through, sicknesses, pain, trouble,

  80. heartbreak, you just know.

  81. Or in the world, you just have to know that you have peace.

  82. Because when there is everything between you and God, when there's calmness

  83. of your heart, when there is calmness in every situation,

  84. because you have Jesus rest with the Savior and the One who is the place of the peace.

  85. This is spoken of in the fruit of the Spirit.

  86. It comes only from God.

  87. It is only from God where I will get this peace.

  88. So, if you are troubled, my friend, my brother, my sister, the only place you

  89. can get peace of mind, it is from Him, the Heavenly Father.

  90. It's the only solution. is the only place.

  91. And let me surprise you. You might be having problems at home,

  92. you might be having challenges at home, but when you come to church,

  93. you forget all those challenges, you forget all those problems,

  94. and you find when we are singing Cornerstone, we are all singing with each other,

  95. because in the hands of the Father, there is peace. Hallelujah!

  96. Now, like I said before, this piece is only available to believers,

  97. and it has one goal for the believers.

  98. It only has one goal.

  99. And this goal is what we want to look at all together.

  100. And for that reason, I will ask everyone to open this bag.

  101. In the book of Phoecians, chapter 4, verse 7.

  102. Everyone, open your Bible in your own language, because this verse,

  103. we are going to read it loud, all of us at once.

  104. So I will count to 1, 2, 3, and then we'll read this verse.

  105. Philippians chapter 4, verse 7.

    Philippians 4:7

  106. I hope you are there.

  107. I hope you are there. Let me give you time to be there.

  108. The Book of Philippians, Chapter 4, Verse 7.

    Philippians 4:7

  109. You're reading your own language? We read loud? So it will be very interesting. Candidate 123, go.

  110. Na amani ya Mungu ipitayo akirizote itawaifadi mioyeno na niyazeno katika Christu Yesu. Amen.

  111. It says, And the peace on God that surpasses all understanding will guide your

  112. heart and demand in Christ Jesus.

  113. So, when you answer the Jesus curse, the fruit of the Spirit of peace automatically

  114. dwells in you. And what is one purpose?

  115. To guide your heart and your mind.

  116. When you are God, your heart and the mind are guided by the Spirit.

  117. Automatically, the fruit of the Spirit of peace bears its fruit to the world.

  118. You find you are the person, you are a kind of a person who may give peace wherever

  119. you go and wherever you are.

  120. Because this fruit bears fruit. Hallelujah.

  121. The fruit bears fruit. Now, the fruit bears in you, and then from you, it bears to others.

  122. In conclusion, let our hearts not desire things that are contrary to the will of God.

  123. And so, the peace of God will guide us, will guide our mind,

  124. will guide the way we walk, and everything we do will be peaceful in Jesus' name.

  125. Amen. God bless you for

  126. listening for today's word this month's

  127. been I hope this is a very long topic and we will continue with it other elders

  128. we take it from here out to where we will learn and benefit about may your Lord be blessed Amen,

  129. we hope that this sermon has encouraged you.
