  1. Welcome to the Grace Church Weekly Podcast. We're an international church right.

  2. In the heart of Stockholm, Sweden.

  3. Each week, we share a message that's rooted in the faithful teaching of God's

  4. Word and open to the vibrant work of the Holy Spirit among His people.

  5. Here's this week's message.

  6. I'd like to introduce you to my friend andreas this this little bit will be

  7. just in english because i really interest you're a good partnership here,

  8. Andreas ringde till mig första gången i maj.

  12. And that's who I want to talk to.

  13. And so we met up and we quickly discovered we both know some people who are the same.

  14. But I also quickly realized that here was someone who longed for in Stockholm

  15. the things that I longed for.

  16. But I also realized that we have shared a lot of the same longing for the God

  17. of the Reich in Stockholm.

  18. And so I just recognized a heart and a friendship here with Andreas,

  19. which I really appreciated even though we only met first in May.

  20. So even if we first met him in May So

  21. I've learned to know Andreas And describe what

  22. we're sharing So it's my great privilege

  23. to have Andreas here And to welcome him to Grace Church So it's a gift to have

  24. Andreas here And welcome him to Grace Church So now you're going to hear God's words from him,

  25. you're so welcome.

  26. I look forward to coming I also appreciate our friendship,

  27. I've lived as a missionary together with my wife and our four children in St.

  28. Petersburg in Russia for 10 years. So my wife and four kids have lived as missionaries

  29. in St. Petersburg in Russia for over 10 years.

  30. And some of our best friends in St. Petersburg were Dave and Hannah Henson from

  31. New Frontiers who started Hope Church in St.

  32. Petersburg, Russia. Some of our best friends were Dave and Hannah Henson from

  33. New Frontiers who started Hope Church in St. Petersburg.

  34. And our children were in the same school, in an international Christian school in St. Petersburg.

  35. And through our friendship I began to get to know new frontiers.

  36. To take away so much, to understand so much what God does through New Frontiers.

  37. So I was very glad when I heard that Grace Church is in Stockholm.

  38. And I'm glad for our relationship.

  39. To meet and pray together.

  40. To seek God's rich and God's will for Stockholm. and to seek God's kingdom and

  41. God's will for Stockholm.

  42. It's my prayer to be a reminder today for you.

  43. My prayer is to encourage you today as a congregation, but also individually

  44. through God's word and through God's prayer.

  45. My wife and I have been married 30 years. We've been married 30 years.

  46. We've lived 16 years in Russia.

  47. We lived 16 of those in Russia. But all those 30 years have been involved in

  48. a mission and mission work to start a new assembly and to meet new people with

  49. evangelism and to do the teaching of Jesus Christ.

  50. All those 30 years have involved pioneer work of making disciples and starting

  51. churches and leading people to Jesus.

  52. So I have quite a lot of experience about how you don't do it.

  53. So I've got a lot of experience about what not to do.

  54. So if you want to hoppa over some of those mistakes, then Andreas has got a

  55. lot of advice about what not to do.

  56. When I went into YouTube to check on your church, so I saw some of the vision

  57. videos from the beginning of Grace Church.

  58. And I want to encourage you, who are with Grace Church in Stockholm, to see them on a new one.

  59. And I want to encourage you here in Grace Church to check them out again.

  60. And to be reminded of how it was in the beginning and how it started.

  61. Because what is right at the beginning is something that forms a DNA for a gathering.

  62. Because there's something about the birth that has the DNA of a church.

  63. And I became so excited about your vision for the Storstockholms region.

  64. Keep praying. Keep praying.

  65. Keep praying. Keep praying to God that vision is going to be a reality.

  66. We thank God for New Frontiers in Sweden.

  67. We thank God for New Frontiers here in Sweden. We thank God for Grace Church

  68. in Stockholm. And we thank God for Grace Church in Stockholm.

  69. We have different callings.

  70. But we need one another.

  71. For the fullness of God to be seen.

  72. And for God's kingdom and will to come to heaven.

  73. Now I'm going to preach. Now preach.

  74. Father, I thank you. Father, I thank you for your word.

  75. That you will speak to us through your word. We welcome you, Holy Spirit.

  76. Wisdom and revelation in spirit.

  77. Må vi få kunskap om Kristus. Give us knowledge of Jesus. Lys med ditt ljus på ditt ord.

  78. Shine the light on your word. Tala till våra hjärtan vi ber.

  79. Speak to every heart we pray. Amen. Amen.

  80. Vi ska läsa tillsammans från Psalm 126. We'll read together from Psalm 126.

  81. Och jag använder Svenska folkbibeln 2015 års översättning.

  82. So he's using the Swedish folkbibeln 215 version. Ska jag läsa på svenska?

  83. Läs på svensk lignan, ja.

  84. En vallfartsång,

  92. Jublande kommer de och bär sina kärvar.

  93. When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion we were like those who dream.

  94. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy.

  95. And they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them.

  96. The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad.

  97. Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the Negev.

  98. Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy.

  99. He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with shouts

  100. of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.

  101. I verse 4, so can we read.

  102. In verse 4 we can read, Lord, change our fortunes.

  103. Just like you did in Desert Neger.

  104. If you're interested, you can go on YouTube or go on YouTube and search for Negev-Öknen.

  105. So if you're interested, you can go on Google or YouTube and you can see the

  106. desert of the wilderness of Negev. For what we can learn about in Saltaren is like today, 2025.

  107. In fact, what we read in Psalms is still pretty much the same in 2025.

  109. The Negev wilderness is a dry and desert land.

  111. But when the rain comes out of the sources comes watch rivers.

  113. In fact, recently we've had just that sort of rain. Helt torrt och torrt och tomt i dalen.

  114. Completely dry and barren.

  115. Come in a torrent of water.

  116. And come and make the seeds come to life and suddenly there's green everywhere.

  117. Så kan det vara i våra liv.

  118. So it can be in our lives. Så kan det vara i vår församling.

  119. So it can be in our church. So can it be in a nation like Sweden and a city like Stockholm.

  120. But suddenly God can change the situation.

  121. Regn can come. Rain can come. Vatten can start to flow.

  122. Water can begin to flow. And so life comes and harvest comes.

  123. 1992 so flyttade jag till Ryssland. Första gången. In 1992, moved to Russia for the first time.

  124. Under 70 years it had been communism and atheism. For 70 years it had been communism and atheism.

  125. Churches had been closed. Pastorers and priests sat in jail.

  126. Pastors and priests had been put into jail. But then there was a shift in history.

  127. And an enormous openness to the gospel. It was like a vacuum. There was like a vacuum.

  128. We moved to the Murmansk region. We moved to the Murmansk region.

  129. It was snow nine months of the year.

  130. It was snow nine months of the year. It was dark during the dark months of winter.

  131. During the dark months of winter, it was dark all day, every day.

  132. It could be up to 40 degrees of cold. And it could be up to minus, well down to minus 40.

  134. But just suddenly the situation changed in the entire country.

  136. And several million people came to faith in Jesus.

  137. I den lilla stad där vi bodde, Apatiti, in the small town where we lived,

  138. About 80,000 inhabitants, so it was about 10% who believed Jesus.

  139. God is the truth. God can and wants to do that.

  140. What he has done in other places in the world.

  141. And what he has done before in history.

  142. In verse 1 we read. In the last one we read.

  143. When the Lord restored the fortune's society, it was like we were dreaming.

  144. I believe we're standing before revival here in Sweden.

  145. That God will restore his church. That he will wake up his church.

  146. But also that he wants to wake up the dead to life for those who believe in Jesus.

  147. It can see dark out in Sweden.

  148. But suddenly God can come. And in the dry land there is a tree that is in the

  149. dry ground, so all the seeds.

  150. It doesn't look like there's much life. But when the rain comes.

  151. The land flowers.

  152. And then comes rejoicing. We read in verse 2, we laughed, we sang of glad.

  153. And then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue was shouted.

  154. And the joy came from our lips.

  155. Yeah, the tongue and laughter began to come from our lips and our mouth.

  156. And then they said, the Lord has done great things for them.

  157. Yes, the Lord has done great things with us.

  158. And that's why we're glad.

  159. That's my prayer for Grace Church in Stockholm.

  160. That you should experience dreams.

  161. That you come into a environment of God's dream for Stockholm.

  162. Redan innan det sker Just before that happens So can han fylla våra hjärtan

You can fill your heart with joy For

  164. that which is going to happen We can be,

  165. we can so, we can arbeta We can pray,

  166. we can sew, we can work Men så kommer Gud med en tid av skörd Then God will

  167. come at a time of time Then han råser sitt regn falla i öknen Like his rain

  168. fall on the desert And we'll be like a dream. And so we'll be like a dream.

  169. And so we'll say about Stockholm.

  170. So we'll say about Grace Church in Stockholm.

  171. The Lord has done great things for them. Yes.

  172. The Lord has done great things for us. Gud vill lägga det i våra hjärtan God

  173. wants to put that in our En frid A peace En övertygelse A conviction.

  174. Om att det är på gång, det är på väg att bli så.

  175. That this is happening, this is on its way.

  176. This will what will be. Och så kommer bönen, Herre, so the prayer will come, Lord, vänd vårt öde.

  177. Change our fortune. Och så står det i vers 5.

  178. And then vers 5. De som sår med tårar, those who sow in tears,

  179. shall få skörda med jubel, shall reap with joy.

  180. Gråtande går de ut med sin säd. Those who go out crying with their seed.

  182. But with chance of joy, they're going to come in with the harvest.

  183. Vi är såningsmän. We are sowers.

  184. Vi är kallade att såg Guds ord. We are called to sow God's word.

  186. In our everyday to share with people about the good news of Jesus.

And it can be periods

  188. where we don't see a harvest.

  190. Or we can just think maybe I'm calling his own leadership.

But the Lord has also called us to harvest.

  192. In Matthews evangeliet, now I haven't prepared it, but in Matthews evangeliet 9,

  193. in Matthew chapter 9, so says Jesus that the harvest is great, but the workers are few.

    Matthew 9 chapter mention

  194. Be to the Shardens Herre that he sends the workers to his Shard.

  195. Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send the workers. I want to thank all of

  196. you who have come from another land to Stockholm to be a worker in the harvest here.

  197. You are a bönesvar.

  198. You are an answer to pray. We have prayed to the Lord of the harvest.

  199. That he will send workers to this harvest. Because the harvest is full.

  200. But the workers are few. But it's so easy for us to identify ourselves just

  201. with sowers. Only with the sowers.

  202. The Lord also calls us to be workers in the harvest.

  203. Those who sow with tårar will be to sow with jubel. Those who sow in tears will reap with joy.

  204. We have profitered. As I'm prophesying. Over Stockholm.

  205. At the time for harvest in Stockholm.

  206. Amen. And with the sky we will be glad to sing and sing.

  207. When it happens there will be time for joy and celebration. There are times

  208. when we wonder if it will be something that will be alive and that will be so.

  209. And we wonder if this ever going to happen?

  210. Is this ever going to be reality? And then the Herren will change the situation

  211. and the rain will come and the things will grow.

  212. The time for the shard in Stockholm.

  213. And the Herren, the Herren are the Herren of the Shard.

  214. He is looking for workers for the harvest.

  215. And we can be answers to the harvest. And we can identify ourselves with that

  216. I am not just a seedman, but I am a seedman.

  217. But I can recognize in myself that I am not just for seed.

  218. We shall harvest in Stockholm. And there's going to be a lot of joy. Amen. Amen.

  219. The next Bible verse is from Johannes Evangeliet, the fourth chapter from John chapter 4.

    John 4 chapter mention

  220. Jesus meets the woman at Sykersbrunn. Jesus meets the woman by the well.

  221. He has a deep theological conversation and has this really deep theological conversation.

  222. We could at another time talk about Samaria.

  223. Another opportunity to speak a long time about Samaria. Jesus said to the laryngor

  224. after the abstinence that you will have strength when the Holy Spirit comes over.

  225. After the resurrection Jesus spoke to his disciples he said you will have power

  226. when the Holy Spirit comes over. Be my witnesses.

  227. And you will be witnesses. Jerusalem in Judea. Jerusalem in Judea. In Samaria.

  228. In Samaria. And to the ends of the earth.

  229. What is Samaria in Stockholm today?

  230. Where is Samaria in Stockholm today? What are the people, what are the people,

  231. what are the people that represent Samaria in Stockholm today?

  232. Where are the people and the places which represent Samaria in Stockholm today?

  235. Do you not say there are yet four months, then comes the harvest.

  236. Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes and see that the fields are white for harvest.

  237. We can sometimes, on a very fleshly way, sort of consider,

  238. we can kind of figure out, calculate ourselves, when is it the time for the harvest?

  239. Men Jesus säger, but Jesus says, ni säger, men jag säger, you say this, but I say this.

  241. What is crucial and most important is that we hear what Jesus is saying.

  242. Lift blicken, lift your eyes.

  243. Föden är mogen, the harvest is ripe.

  244. I'm just convinced that there's always somewhere in Stockholm which is ready for the harvest.

  245. So if we see ourselves as harvest workers so Jesus will lead us to the harvest. Yes, we sow.

  246. But we're also called to reap.

  247. And sometimes we will harvest where others have sown.

  248. And sometimes we will sow when others will harvest.

  249. And my message today is Prepare yourself for harvest.

  252. Det sista bibelordet i min predikan idag.

  253. Första Korinther brevet, kapitel 3. 1 Corinthians chapter 3, verse 6.

    1 Corinthians 3:6

  254. Paulus says, I planted, Apollos planted, but God gave the harvest.

  255. The who planted or the who planted means anything.

  256. It's just God, he who gives the harvest.

  257. The who planted and the who planted are one, but one who will get his lön after his work.

  259. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.

  260. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

  261. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according

  262. to his labor. For we are God's fellow workers.

  263. You are God's field, God's building.

  264. 1992, for more than 30 years later, 1992, more than 30 years ago,

  265. so I got to see revival in Russia.

  266. I hadn't thought, I hadn't sowed.

  267. I was just there when it was harvest. It was not thanks to me or because of me.

  268. It was a pleasure that I could be with and steal where others had something.

  269. It wasn't anything to do with me or because of anything that I had done.

  270. I was just by God's grace there to reap where others had sown.

  271. I believe we're standing again in that kind of time.

  272. In the 19th century in Sweden So had we There was a revival in Sweden.

  273. They reckon between 10 and 15% Of Sweden's population Repented and turned and

  274. gave their life to Christ Think if God I think if God would do that again in Stockholm.

  275. There are a million people in Stockholm.

  276. There's one place here. One million. One million people here in Stockholm city.

  277. Four and a half million people in Stockholm. Two and a half million people in Stockholm.

  278. Think if 10% could be around.

  279. Think if 10% would repent. There are 250,000 in Stockholm.

  280. 250,000 people. It's 100,000 east in Stockholms stad.

  281. 100,000 in Stockholms stad alone. God has done it before.

  282. God has done it in other places. And God can do it again.

  283. I'm going to finish with Psalm 126 again.

  288. Herren, vänd vårt öde i Stockholm.

  289. Liksom du ger liv åt bäckarna i Negev.

  291. Juvlande kommer de och bär sina kärvor.

  292. When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dream.

  293. Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with shouts of joy.

  294. Then they said among the nations, the Lord has done great things for them.

  295. The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad.

  296. Restore our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the Negev.

  297. Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy.

  298. And he who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come home with

  299. shouts of joy, bringing his harvest with him.

  300. The tîn făr hărăd in Stockholm. It's time for harvest in Stockholm.

  301. Lătos făr, bără dabă la jăctan. Let's prepare our harvest.

  302. Let's prepare our church.

  303. Let's be ready to receive the harvest. We might see it's a long way off,

  304. but let's be ready for it.

  305. It's time for the harvest in Stockholm. I can feel again in the atmosphere.

  306. I can see the signs in the time.

  307. That we stand before revival in Stockholm.

  308. Orättfärdighet och synd växer. Unrighteousness and sin grows.

  309. Kyrkan är svag. The church is weak.

  310. There's good potential for revival.

  311. And at the same time, there are

  312. many that God is calling to prayer and to holiness and to righteousness.

  313. Young people who are giving their lives to Jesus.

  314. Many who are seeking God and come to church.

  318. Men så kan Herren få vända allt.

  319. I believe we're standing in front of a difficult time.

  320. And I believe we're standing in front of a difficult time.

  321. But we're also standing in front of glory. It goes often very parallel.

  322. They often go together. But there's an enormous joy in reaping.

  323. And I believe that God wants to remind you of your original vision and calling.

  324. And that God wants to remind you of what you dreamt about.

  325. That you can come in again into a time, a situation of dreams.

  326. That your heart will be full of faith.

  327. For the things that you haven't yet seen and the things that don't yet exist.

  328. For we walk by faith. Not by sight.

  329. We don't walk by sight, we walk by faith. And it's up to the Lord.

  330. How he will use us.

  335. Men det är tid förskörd vid Stockholm It's time for the harvest in Stockholm.

  336. And I believe that for a lot of people here today, believe it some of you here

  337. today, so what I've talked about has been difficult to take to your thoughts.

  338. Maybe the things that Andreas has been talking about have been hard for you

  339. to grasp in your thoughts.

  340. Because your situation and circumstances look very different.

  341. When God's andes wants to speak through his words in your heart,

  342. God's Spirit will speak into your heart and fill you with freedom and give you

  343. peace and bring you peace and an expectation on what Herren has prepared for what God has prepared.

  344. So that when the harvest comes, we are ready.

  345. And I believe it's like in four months, but much sooner. Thank you, Lord Jesus.

  346. Thank you for your will, for your calling, for your grace church in Stockholm.

  347. Thank you for your calling in this church in this city. Thank you for your encouragement.

  348. Thank you for your strength. Thank you for your new faith. Thank you for your new faith.

  349. Thank you for that you on the new fill us with the dream.

  350. Thank you for that you have prepared and decided.

  351. For that which you have prepared and decided. So that your name can be forhered.

  352. That your name will be glorified. Help us, Lord.

  353. To prepare our hearts and our lives for the harvest of Stockholm.

  354. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord.
