  1. M Annie, It's sorry, m hm. So the title of today's message

  2. is a new day, Let God's love arise, a new day, let

  3. God's love arise. And if I mentioned the word it's a new day,

  4. that means many different things. So if it might mean the sunset on a

  5. day, it might mean the sunrising the day. For some people, it

  6. might mean the start of a new job. It might mean the start of

  7. going to university or finish university. We've all got different pictures in our minds.

  8. If I say a new day, you're looking amative runs thing through because

  9. we were thinking pictures. The general rug and I want us to consider this

  10. morning the day Jesus woke knowing his time and earth had come to an end.

  11. He's three years of ministry were done undusted, and he knew that that

  12. day was the beginning of a new day for him. The Last Supper,

  13. the Garden of gessemone his arrest, disappears before the high priests, before Pilot

  14. is scourging his cruisi ficion, his death and his resurrection. And on that

  15. day when he rose, he stood in the garden speaking to Mary Magdaline,

  16. So do not touch me. Need to send to my father and your father.

  17. That was a new day, and it's a day that changed history.

  18. There's not been a day like it since the next day. I support like

  19. it when he returns, when it comes again for a bride without spot or

  20. wrinkle. H And that's where when they go today at the end. So

  21. I need to cast your mind back now to when it was your new day.

  22. When you move from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God,

  23. everyone has a new day. Evan knows exactly where they were when another date

  24. or the time you were you when you made that decision. He made that

  25. transition from one life to another life. Colossians one thirteen to fourteen puts it

  26. this way. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us

  27. into the kingdom of the Son of his Love, in whom we have redemption

  28. through his blood. The forgiveness of sins notices the Son of his Love and

  29. redeemed through Jesus' blood. We're forgiven of our past. It's all done.

  30. Do you remember that day. I remember that day, And if you're listen

  31. today online, they haven't made that decision. This can be your day.

  32. This can be on you day. Jesus. We believe that Jesus died for

  33. us sin because he was sinless. We believed that he paid the price for

  34. us, the sinless son of God, and that he rose again. Of

  35. course he rose again. We have a new relationship with God through his blood,

  36. through his sacrifice. And Romans ten nine says it this way that if

  37. you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, believe in your heart that God

  38. raised him from the dead, you will be saved. So just go confessing

  39. and believing, I can Jesus come into your life. You do that right

  40. now. When you do, drop us a message right a day with earlier

  41. so we can pray for you. Don't miss this opportunity. When you do

  42. that, you'll enter a new world. You'll be the same person on the

  43. outside, but a different person on the inside. That's happened to everybody Flashings

  44. two five to seventeen plus it this way. Therefore, anyone's in Christ.

  45. He's a new creature or a new creation. All things have passed away.

  46. Behold all things become you. And that's a special day in everyone's life,

  47. in everyone's journey. But we need to move on, don't they. God

  48. is a progressive God. He doesn't sit there like a bump on a log.

  49. He doesn't sit there. He's got a plan on the purpose, and

  50. he's always going, He's always moving. That's sort of God that he is.

  51. So I want to have a look at the sort of key scripture this

  52. morning, which is in Ephesians four, and it runs from verse thirteen through

  53. to verse sixteen. And there's a lot in this number of verses. But

  54. I'm not going to go through everything, because we can put the time to

  55. go to everything. But I'm just going to pick out some key points I

  56. thought they always wanted to show with us this morning. So I'll be reading

  57. from the amplified Classic version of the Bible. I'm not sure when this is,

  58. David, is that this amplifies. Yeah, so this is a newer

  59. version, but I like the older version. So mates slight nu answers in

  60. the scripture. Now, the Apostle Paul wrote this, s wait for the

  61. wagons to come past is quite The Apostle Paul wrote this to the divisions,

  62. and the precursor of what I'm going to read. He's talking about the five

  63. hole ministry and the purpose to equipping the saints for ministry. We are saints

  64. and we have to minister the good news to people. You'd have to wear

  65. a dot collar. I'll go to Bible College. Well, that does help,

  66. you know, you have a responsibility to share the good news, to

  67. do the matter as a male or a female. I remember a guy's going

  68. to heaven. Now, he was a preacher, and he had two boys

  69. and one girl. And the boys weren't called to preach. The girl was,

  70. you know, And that as far as you were concerned, that was

  71. it. God's not looking at your whether the male or female you're looking at

  72. whether you know, He's cord you to do that. So whether male or

  73. feel doesn't matter. God's still got a personal plan for your life. You

  74. pushed Sue into that plan doesn't matter. Right, So I'll read from verse

  75. thirteen four Ahesians four, Verse thirteen. Until we all attain oneness in the

  76. faith and in the comprehension of the full and accurate knowledge of the Son of

  77. God, that we might arrive at reel at really mature manhood, the completeness

  78. of personality, which is nothing less than the standard height of Christ's own perfection,

  79. the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ and the completeness found

  80. in Him. So then we may no longer be children tossed like ships to

  81. and fro between chance, gusts of teaching, and wavering with every changing wind

  82. of doctrine, the prey of cunning and cleverness of unscrupulous men. Gamblers engage

  83. in every shifting form of trickery, in inventing errors to mislead. Rather,

  84. let our lives lovingly express truth in all things, speaking, truly, dealing,

  85. truly, living, truly, enfolding or sorry unfolded in love. Let

  86. us grow up in every way and in all things, into Him who is

  87. the head, even Christ, the Messiah, the anointed One. That's what

  88. Christ means. We didn't know. They didn't translate it properly. It actually

  89. means anointed one. The Hebrew is Messiah anyway. But because of Him,

  90. the whole body, the Church, in all its various parts, closely joined

  91. and firmly knit together by the joints and ligaments with which it is supplied.

  92. When each part, with the power of da Actor to its need, is

  93. working properly in all its functions, grows to full maturity, building itself up

  94. in love. That's a lot of scripture Fijians four thirteen to sixteen. That's

  95. Paul speaking about the church. That's one of his greatest passions in life.

  96. That was what drove him through his life after his Damascus experience, was to

  97. build up the church. So it's going to draw three or four things from

  98. the scripture and see what we can apply them to ourselves today and going forward.

  99. So if we notice in Ephesians four thirteen, Paul talks about oneness in

  100. the faith. Oneness in the faith can be translated unity. In fact,

  101. you've got your violet may say. We look at the look in a concordance.

  102. There's lots of different words you can drop in there and depend on how

  103. you translate it. So we get this rich tapestry of different words dropped in

  104. these different translations. But for today we're going with the Ampi five. It

  105. says oneness in the faith, which can be transferred living in unity. So

  106. as we enter twenty twenty two, I mean two more weeks left and we're

  107. into January into February, to say it's it's moving. Let's ensure I ensure

  108. as a people, as an individual, as a church member, whether it's

  109. in this church or the church you go to. Because we're listening online and

  110. we're going to stream this, let's ensure that we are in unity in the

  111. faith. I remember that faith works by love Glatians five and verse six.

  112. And God's love flows through us when we surrender a moment by moment to the

  113. Holy Spirit. Have you disnilged you before? But I think I've been betther

  114. to use it again. So if you've got sin and unfginness in your life,

  115. it's like having a hosepipe with a kinkin. You know, you turn

  116. the water on. What if you're watching your garden or you're washing something down

  117. and there's a little bit of drip comes out of the hosepipe. So the

  118. thing to do is not to look at it like that. It is to

  119. look down the hosepipe and then take out the king. We take out the

  120. kink, the water pressure will be released and the water will flow. And

  121. sometimes when people got sin in their life, it's like a block in the

  122. hose pipe, and God's love cannot flow out to those people around us.

  123. You know, we'll be out here on the first load if we weren't here

  124. to add value. We're supposed to be lights to a world which is in

  125. darkness, and we do live in quite a dark world. So as we

  126. let God's love flow through us, as we walk together in unity as a

  127. body of believers, people's lives are changed. People cannot deny what they see

  128. a verse number of times. Why are you so different? Why don't you

  129. swear? Why don't you do this? Why do that? People notice a

  130. difference. And God wants us to be in nurtures a body so that love

  131. flows and that light shines. For it takes moment by moments surrender to the

  132. Holy Spirit. It's interesting Galatians five twenty two says, but the fruit of

  133. the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,

  134. benevolence, faithors so controlled, et cetera. The person knows his love the

  135. fruit of the spirit. So the trends of Holy Spirit within you manifest God's

  136. love. And that's where that's the that's where God wants us to be today.

  137. That's that's what we started talking around. So I think that's the first

  138. thing has been one us in the faith, which we're going to be one

  139. us in the faith. When we walking in faith, we surrendered to the

  140. Holy spa and letting God's love flow through us. It's just how that thought.

  141. We're gonna be going to build some some more on this. It's might

  142. seem with it out there right now, but we'll get there. In Ephesians

  143. four, verse thirteen, he talks about at really mature manhood. M at

  144. really mature manhood. Now that's hues. Generically, it can be in a

  145. group of men, I can be a group of women. So manhood means

  146. either male or female. You know, it's not just how it was translated.

  147. So when we're mature, both men and women, we're in God's perfect

  148. love love or agathe, and God wants us to walk and to release his

  149. love through allies by the hole this, but those people around us. So

  150. I guess a quick question for us all this, are we walking in love?

  151. Are we so full of him? It's our lives so surrendered that his

  152. love is pervading us and pervading and coming in touch other people's lives. I'm

  153. reminded of John fifteen and verse ten. But it says, if you keep

  154. my commandments, you will abide in my love, just said blood due.

  155. If you keep my commandments, you'll abide in my love. Just ad love.

  156. I just have kept my father's commandments and abiding his love is the right

  157. translation. So notice, Jesus says the disciples, if you keep my commandments,

  158. you'll abide in my love. Abide or live, remain Dwell, you

  159. can use different words in my love. Just so I've kept my father's commandments

  160. and abide in his love. And he said in John ten and verse twelve,

  161. this is my commandment that you love one another as I have loved June.

  162. And what did he say when he was asked what the great what's the

  163. greatest commandment? Matthew twenty two thirty six thirty seven Love the Lord, your

  164. God with all your heart, so in mind. And the second one,

  165. it's love your neighbor as yourself. So one John, Oh, God is

  166. love. So we have this, We have this like mission statement running through

  167. like a piece of rocket. You go to the seaside where it says,

  168. it says black pool, it says tobey, wherever it says in God's kingdom,

  169. the common denominator is love. Well, it's in us as individuals or

  170. as a body, it's love. M hm hm hm hm h m hm.

  171. So continuing, let's look at Ephesians four Versus fourteen and fifteen, where

  172. it talks about our lives. It will express the truth in love. Our

  173. lives will express the truth in loves. Or to put it another way,

  174. I just touched us already. Our lives will exude or drip God's love.

  175. You know, when you're fuller something, it starts to come out, isn't

  176. it? Possibly not a good analogy. But sometimes when people have been for

  177. a meal a curry and they sweat, you can smell the spices that come

  178. out of the body. You know, I don't notice that it's not very

  179. nice analogy. That's the one that came to mind. They've eaten and that's

  180. coming out. God wants us to pervade his love. He wants to pray

  181. his love. You know, we've got to be in God's love to give

  182. out God's love. We've got to be in his presence to release his presence.

  183. And that's what God wants us to considered this morning, as we as

  184. we as we continue in this new year, where are we in that journey?

  185. Mhm? Because it is a journey. Do you carry his presence?

  186. Do you carry his presence? I've got my water bottle here for those who

  187. are listing and can't see it's one of those water bottles. We've got the

  188. thing you push. Pushed the top down to that to stop the water coming

  189. out. And if I did it and then turn that way, nothing comes

  190. out. If I opened the top, I'm not going to do it too

  191. upside down. The water was shoe. If I just squeeze it, it

  192. will shoot all over. Rachel was sitting about three or four meters in front

  193. of me. If this is us on the water of the presence of the

  194. Holy Spirit to get it out, there's got to be some movement. I

  195. squeezed that, and I don't know what's going to go everywhere. Squeeze it

  196. since it's gonna come out. We need to be in that position where we

  197. allow the hose bit to work through us to share that love. You walking

  198. down the street, go and speak to that person. Well, if there's

  199. a normal time, you're at the tea and coffee area of the breakout here,

  200. go and speak to that person. Or in the supermarket, go and

  201. speak to that person. One work from God can change some of his life.

  202. Or rather, don't said that. I said that. Now it's true.

  203. It is true. So God wants us to be his agents, his

  204. agents of love. Sharing God's love. M love can break down the barrier

  205. that nothing else can do. So he wants us to reframe our thinking as

  206. we as we as we continue into twenty twenty two around love. I just,

  207. I just, I just badly quoted John fifteen and Verse ten about if

  208. you keep my commandments, walk in love as I've kept my father and I

  209. walked in love that I just wanted to do. Love has got to be

  210. number one this year. It will underpin everything. I think we built on

  211. God's lave. And it's a lifestyle. It's not something you just switch on

  212. and off. Home. I'm going to churt today. I'll put my best

  213. jeans on and I've got my big Bible, and you know I've got a

  214. hirts hanging the exube God's love. It doesn't you don't switch on and off.

  215. It's a lifestyle and it's for that daily contact. Anyway, Moving on,

  216. where are we? So? Verse sixteen talks about growing to full maturity,

  217. growing to full maturity, building ourselves up in love. So we only

  218. grow to full maturity when walking in the spirit. I'm sure I've all had

  219. or you've got a family members the family. You've got the little child who's

  220. just starting to walk, and you know, the the tent to toddle,

  221. you know, very book warbbly on their feet. And then there's the time

  222. when you can't catch them because they just go bang and you've got to be

  223. up to them before they were raised out of the or race down the road.

  224. And then then they grow up and they started watching more slowly and then

  225. they side. You've got to come on for you. You know, I

  226. don't only walk with you. You know you're not cool. And then they

  227. come to maturity when they walk with you, and then and they support you

  228. and you have a different sort of relationship. It's that with us. With

  229. God. You know he has a baby. Come on, come on,

  230. you get a lot of attention as you grow up. You expected to read

  231. the word, You expect her to pray, you expect to know the way,

  232. you expect to have a relationship with him. We wouldn't change an eighteen

  233. year old and ape and but they're botted in front of them just be she

  234. wouldn't be done. If we did that, people say what on earth are

  235. you doing? And God expects us to grow into the film maturity of a

  236. son and daughter of God. And to walk in the spirit in all things,

  237. particularly in love. It's so important to operate in God love aporate this

  238. way One Corinthians thirteen one to thirteen. Though I speak with the terms of

  239. men and of angels, but have not love, I become a sounding brass

  240. or a clanging symbol. And now I have the gift of prophecy, understand

  241. all mysteries and all knowledge. And though I have all faith, so I

  242. can move mountains, but I have not love and nothing. And though I

  243. bestow all my gifts to all my goods to feed the poor. And though

  244. I give my body to be burned, but have not loved, it profits

  245. me nothing. He was speaking out of experience there, because he had learned

  246. the hard way about this. Just need to read the New Testament and Bore's

  247. life. You'll see he'd learned by experiences, as experienced talking experience through revelation.

  248. You know, he spent seven years in Arabia in the world before they

  249. release him too, men stream, So we need to grow to that full

  250. maturity building ourselves. I've in love with that daily communion, abiding me and

  251. all abiding you, living me, and I live in you. John fifteen.

  252. But it all comes down to our love walk. How are we operating

  253. in love? Are we allowing the Holy Spirit's love to flow through us?

  254. Are we watching what we say? Are we watching about forgiving people? I'm

  255. not so I'll deal with him later. We are we are we keeping short

  256. accounts with people? Are choosing to forgive and let it go, do yourself

  257. a failor and let it go, Or we're choosing to retain something so God

  258. Love can't flow through us. There's not a lot of time left on this

  259. this earth. I don't how long it is for it in a long time,

  260. m hm. And we need to be going about our father's business.

  261. We need to walk in in that love. He's vital, I would say,

  262. hm m h, m hm mh. Remember, faith comes by hearing

  263. and hearing by the word of God. So we need to hear the way

  264. that God preached like this, so mature into the fullness that God has for

  265. us with the help of the Holy Spirit. As we do, we'll mature

  266. into a body walking in love and were known as a body who walks in

  267. love. People. People know what what's fake and what's real. They're pretty

  268. good at that sort of thing. In nowadays, you know, so people

  269. can see when you're when you're genuine about you're about our love. And you

  270. can't fake God's love. It is He does things which people don't understand.

  271. One John four, verse six sixteen puts it this way. And we know,

  272. understand, recognize, and are conscious of by observation and experience, and

  273. believe a deer to put faith in and rely on the love God cherishes for

  274. us. God is Love, and he who dwells and continues in love dwells

  275. and continues in God, and God dwells and continues in Him. In this

  276. union and communion with him, Love is brought to completion, attains perfection with

  277. us, that we may have confidence in the day of justment. As He

  278. is in the world, so are we. It's just man paraphrase the notice.

  279. But he who dwells and continues in love and we are he who dwells

  280. and continues is God. Because God is Love. So he dwells and continues

  281. in Love, dwells and contains in God and continues in God. And God

  282. dwells and continues in Him. In this union and communion I talked about John

  283. fifteen before. In this Union and communitis abiding in Him, abiding me,

  284. and are abiding you? Living me? And how living you? Depending the

  285. translation, you can flip the word love is brought to completion and attains perfection.

  286. God wants us to stretch too, this love that is brought to completion

  287. and attains perfection in our lives. It's not going to happen all at once,

  288. because you know we're on the journey, but we have to stretch too,

  289. walking in this completion of His love that attains perfection in us, not

  290. only individually but corporately. So if you're listening to this today and you know

  291. you don't and this fellowship, that doesn't matter. It's it's about as a

  292. individual is visual believer, and corporately as a body. Whether that's a body

  293. of people in one denomination or many dominations, it doesn't matter. The idea,

  294. the God's idea. God's plan was that everybody, everybody is brought to

  295. completion and attains perfection in His love. That's the church, the body denomination,

  296. not small big fellowship spectorates that make the difference. It's about everybody being

  297. brought to completion, the tame perfection in love. And that's the challenge that

  298. that has for us to align ourselves with His word such that we do exactly

  299. that. So that's a challenge for this year is to walk in the law

  300. of God. But also you can't do that without having the commune and the

  301. union piece. There's two pieces of the walking in that and the manifestation of

  302. that walking is because of the union communion. You can't give what you haven't

  303. got. You can't share what you haven't got. Haven't we don't possess.

  304. It's the love of God. It's impartant to us. Through the Holy spread,

  305. we grow more like Him than all we spent time with him. M

  306. hmm, that's right. Said I like this first John for verse sixteen.

  307. In this union and communion with him, love is brought to completion of the

  308. tages perfection. It's only with that union and communion that love is brought to

  309. completion the taines perfection Without that, and Jesus put it in John fifteen,

  310. if you're not connected, chop you off and the branches throw into the fire.

  311. We've got to be rooted in. So are you rooted in? It's

  312. a rhetorical question. Don't let the answers. Are you rooted him? Consider

  313. it? You know, consider where you are, consider what you need to

  314. do, what I justice, you need to make so you can be a

  315. blessing to God. God's really proud of you. But you know, like

  316. a parented pride of their kids. But let's be a blessing to God by

  317. sharing his love. Mhm h. For God to love the world. He

  318. gave his only something never believed in him shall not perish. I have everlasting

  319. life. Time is short. We need to focus on the union and communion.

  320. We need to focus on our part. It's in this part now,

  321. it's our part. So I have to think about what I said, So

  322. sits with you in your spirits. There the host bit of same to you.

  323. We have to judge things, have to weigh things, and maybe just

  324. as you need to make, she can fulfill God's call and God's purpose on

  325. your life. You can't do without walking in love because everything stems troum love.

  326. Let's living there. That's quit. That's a quick pray on behind that

  327. today. Well, there's a love revelation in these scriptures, and I've just

  328. skated over at the top of it because of the time. I pray Lord

  329. that you expound this this truth to all of us. Lord in Jesus name,

  330. so that we do grow into the full stature for Christ, and we

  331. do live in that union and communion with you every day. Amen. Thank

  332. you, Simon not God's love arise,
