I was going to be sharing with us, Clem. How long have we
-
know one another? Too long? I used to have hair when I first
-
met up. Yes, Clem's a good, long time friend. Clem gives
-
us input and brings input to us as a church. He didn't travel too
-
far this weekend. He came from somewhere else in the UK. I'll let
-
him tell you about that, But let me pray, and then Clem's going
-
to come and share with us. Father, thank you for your word.
-
Thank you for your word, Lord, that is prepared and ready to be
-
shared with us. Father, thank you for your servant claim. Who's going
-
to come and share it with us. Pray that you'd bless it. Lord,
-
Even as he spends this last weekend in the UK before he travels back
-
to the US and back to home. Father, I pray that Lord,
-
this would be a weekend and refreshing of your spirit, restoration and provision,
-
even supernaturally good God. So Lord, we pray that our ears would be
-
open, our hearts would be ready, that we'd hear from you, and
-
seed would be pressed down and take root and bear fruit in Jesus' name.
-
Amen, men stave morning, everybody calls everybody good, beautiful day. It's
-
always like this in England right in the UK. Well, I've been here
-
almost a whole month. I've made one quick trip back in the middle of
-
my tour. So I was up in Sheffield the beginning of the month and
-
then went home to do a three day conference and flew back again. Was
-
in Wales for a week working with our good friends Julian and Sarah Richards and
-
New Wine Wales. Just up in Hereford where I work with a whole network
-
called Freedom where they're planting churches all over the world. In fact, they
-
planted one in Raleigh, North Carolina. Gary's Gary Snosa who leased the whole
-
movement. His son Josh planted in Raleigh a few years ago, so we
-
could interact with them right in our backyard. And then down to Egham tomorrow.
-
Be in London, just meeting up with Mike Bullinger. Some of you
-
know Mike. He's been here in Minister, so that's great to reconnect in
-
our I guess we can officially say it's a post COVID season. I hope
-
it stays that way. And so yeah, this morning I'm going to just
-
kind of stir us all and talk about this idea of increasing your capacity.
-
I think coming out of a lockdown, coming down of a season where we
-
were kind of limited, I feel like the spirit of the Lord is stirring
-
us. It's like, this is a good season. Now it's a season.
-
I think there's going to be harvest, fresh harvest. Some of us
-
were thinking, like what God goes up to during the lockdown, we haven't
-
even fully perceived yet. Because God didn't rest. He neither sleeps nor slumbers.
-
So God wasn't lockdown and God wasn't taking a break. I feel one
-
of the things God was doing was ripening the harvest. You know, Revelation
-
talks about the harvest of the earth ripening, and I think there was a
-
massive ripening of souls and people are more ready to receive Jesus. So we
-
have to we have to do our job. We have to get out there
-
and share the gospel. And so if you every Bibles, we're going to
-
start and we're going to start and finished in Second Kings chapter three, Second
-
King's three. So up here and keep scripture. If you can keep up
-
with me, actually gonna produce the story. We'll get into verse nine.
-
What we'll start. But it's an amazing story. It's a story where you
-
have three kings that come together around the common enemy enemy. So we have
-
jehosephat the king of Judah. I'm looking in verse one, if you want
-
to just go there for a minute. You have Jehoram is the son of
-
Ahab. Ahab was the king of Israel. He was the wicked king.
-
He was the bad king. Johorah was a little better, but he still,
-
it says in verse two, he was evil in the sight of the
-
Lord, though not like his father and mother. That was Ahab and Jezebel.
-
That's a bad family tree right there. But anyway, it says,
-
but he did put by the pillar bail. Nevertheless. Verse three says he
-
clung to the sin of Jereboam, the son of Nebat, which he made
-
Israel to sin, and he did not depart from it. Now you have
-
this king of Moab who's coming against these guys, and so they form a
-
military alliance. So you have Jehosaphat king of Judah. You have Jehoram,
-
and then this unnamed king, they call him just the King of Edom.
-
So they come together to form an alliance. And look at David's just right
-
on top of it, so we will pick it back up. In verse
-
seven, they said, where to jehos Fat, the king of moment has
-
rebelled against me. Will you go with me to battle against Moeb? He
-
said, I'll go. I'm as you are, my people as your people,
-
my horses as your horses. Then he said, by which way shall
-
we march? He said, by the way of the wilderness of Eatam.
-
And so they hook up now with the King of Edom, and here we
-
are in verse nine. The king of is Iselm went with the kings of
-
Judah and the King of Edom. And when they had made a circuitous march
-
of seven days, there was no water. Not only no water for the
-
army, no water for the army or the animals that follow them. No
-
water. They've been marching for seven days and they're out of water. And
-
I don't know. These armies were not small. So there's literally probably thousands
-
of men and lots of animals and there's no water. What does that mean?
-
If they don't find a water source, they're going to die. They
-
have to find water. So I'm gonna keep reading and go back. So
-
so the King of Isa says alas the Lord has called these three kings to
-
give them into the hand of Moab. I guess what a defeatist attitude.
-
You know, Sometimes you come against an impossibility, you run out of something.
-
They ran out of water and said, I guess we're just gonna die.
-
All three of us are gonna They're gonna put us in the hands of
-
the King of Moab. But Jehosaphat and always remember Jehosephad, he's the good
-
king. Almost he can say this is the tale of three kings, but
-
he's the good king. Jehoas Fat said, is there no prophet of the
-
Lord here through whom we may inquire of the Lord? Sometimes people are so
-
focused on the enemy to forget about God the other kings, like, we're
-
gonna die. The King of Mohab's gonna kill us, you know, the
-
devil's gonna take us out and go excuse me? Is there not a prophet
-
at least? Can we not inquire of the Lord in this situation? So
-
one of the King of Israel's servants said, well, Elishah, the son
-
of schafe Out, is here who poured water on the hands of Elijah.
-
And jehoash Fat said the word of the Lord is with him. He had
-
a good track record with him. So the King of Israel and jehos Bet,
-
the King of Edom, went down to him, and Elishah said to
-
the King of Israel, what have I to do with you? Very I
-
feel like saying that sometimes when people say, can I have a word?
-
I don't even know you? What am I to do with you? You
-
say, because Elisha knows, he said it to the King of Israel.
-
There is history there with Elijah and Elishah and Ahab and Jezebel, and so
-
he's like, what am I to do? Watch what's the next sentences?
-
Go to the profits of your father and the prophets of your mother. In
-
other words, remember, Ahab had his own profits. He had four hundred
-
prophets that basically were for hire, and he basically would get them to prophesy
-
what he wanted to hear, nationalism, and it's all about me. Go
-
to the prophets of your father and mother. But the King of Israel said
-
him, no, it is the Lord who has called these three kings to
-
give them into the hand of Moeb. And Elisha said, well, as
-
the Lord of Hosts lives before whom I stand watch. Were it not that
-
I had regard for johas the King of Judah, I wouldn't even look at
-
you or see you. So I'm gonna see it in some thoughts I want
-
you to carry today. This is what we call the power of one the
-
power of one man. Jehosaphat swayed the prophet to minister into this impossible situation.
-
And notice what he says, if it were not that I had regard
-
for johoas man, that's favor favor with one that I wouldn't even look at
-
you. And then he says, now bring me a musician. And when
-
the musician played, the hand of the Lord came upon him and he said,
-
thus says the Lord, I will make this dry stream bed full of
-
pools. Or I like this translation to thank you, Dave, make this
-
valley full of ditches, dig some ditches. For thus says the Lord.
-
You will not see wind or rain, but that stream bed will be filled
-
with water, so that you shall drink. You, your livestock and your
-
animals. This is a light thing in the hand of the Lord. This
-
amazing story. God is creative. God's puts this story in here. I
-
think to help us understand some things about God that I want to introduce the
-
idea of atmosphere. That the whole idea of atmosphere comes out from two Greek
-
words. One is you know atmas and sphere us and you put them begin
-
to an atmosphere and it really means to atmosphere is the word vapor, So
-
it's a sphere of vapor. So we said the atmosphere is like this ball
-
of vapor of the world, and God set the boundaries of it. There's
-
a certain boundary to the atmosphere. It's also known in the mental or moral
-
idea of the environment. We can create mentally, you can create a mental
-
atmosphere. Joy, peace, worry, stress are all atmospheres that we can
-
be affected by. And when God, I'm just going back when God said,
-
make this valley full of ditches, or I want you to go dig
-
some ditches. What's he's saying. I want you to create space. I
-
want you to create a different atmosphere because I'm going to come and fill it.
-
See if we create space for God, he'll fill it. Because God
-
is what we call a gap filler. He fills the gap. He likes
-
to cause us to seek him and say God, I got a problem here.
-
And God often says, well, create space for me. If we
-
don't create space for God, he can't fill it. Somebody say, I
-
want more of God. You do, well, something's got to go.
-
It got to be less of you more of Him. So here's this interesting
-
situation where these kings are coming together. They have a common enemy. It's
-
good to come together for a common enemy. We have one enemy and one
-
only. It's not friends, it's not people, it's not politicians, it's
-
not anybody else. We have one common enemy. And I think it's also
-
a time where God is causing people to come together, working with streams,
-
working with other networks that I work with. It's great to see people working
-
together because we have a common enemy. We should have so much division in
-
the body of Christ. Doesn't mean we all do the same thing all the
-
time, but we can come together against a common enemy. So they had
-
to get in position. You got to get in the right position to take
-
out the enemy. So they had to march, and they're marching for seven
-
days, and in this time frame they run out of water. And when
-
they sought the word, it's because they were thirsty. Notice I think one
-
identified one guy out of them all said, you know what our problem is.
-
We're thirsty. That's the real problem. It wasn't Moab yet, it
-
wasn't the king of Moab. The problem was they were thirsty. They had
-
no water. Thirst should drive you to God. And only one guy picked
-
up on that. Thank God for Jehoseph, and he goes, you know
-
what, there's one place we can go to take care of this problem of
-
thirst. And their thirst drove them to the prophet Elisha. It's interesting they
-
broke protocol. Typically, the kings would come to the prophet. I mean
-
the prophet would come to the king and say, I have a word for
-
the king. King, I want an audience with the king. I have
-
a word for you. And the prophets would come to the king and if
-
they granted audience, they would give them the word of the Lord, like
-
David and other. So here's a different thing. Now the king's seeking out
-
the prophet. I think that should be more normal. I think heads of
-
state and leadership and prime ministers and presidents and mayors and governors, they should
-
be seeking out prophetic words from God. Does God have a word about this?
-
We got We're running out of water. We've got an impossible situation here.
-
So I think the good thing to know is, if you're thirsty enough,
-
you'll even break protocol. No, if you're thirsty enough, you'll go
-
find the word from the Lord. Okay, And just because you run out
-
of water, it doesn't mean you won't get there. But you won't get
-
there without God. Some of you might be said, trying to get somewhere
-
right now, I want to get there. Just because you run out of
-
money doesn't mean you're going to get there. Just because you run out of
-
help doesn't mean you can't get there. Just because you get discouraged or if
-
somebody's deserted you, it doesn't mean you can't get there. You got to
-
keep saying I got to get there. We're coming out of lockdown, and
-
we said, where are we going? I don't know. Well, I
-
got to get there. We got to get to where God wants us.
-
We got to get to where we can win our battle. And we can't
-
do it without God. You can't get there without God, because sometimes even
-
God allows the Moabites to come into our life. Right Sometimes you're like,
-
I got this resistance, I got an enemy, and God says Yep,
-
I allowed the Moabites to come so that you drive you back to me.
-
When you're thirsty, you don't need a pacifier. Some Christians look for pacifiers.
-
We like our kids. Well, he's whining again, but I just
-
fed him. So here you call it over here with dummy, right,
-
I think that's kind of interesting. That wouldn't go here and going in America
-
give him a dummy. Well, but yeah, you can't pacify people when
-
they're really thirsty. They need the genuine milk of the word. They need
-
the word of God. So they came to the prophet thirsty. And not
-
all the not all the kings were ready. Not all the kings believe.
-
They basically there's one believer amongst the muncheon. That was jehosephad. Once again
-
the power of one. One guy had a connection. It only takes one
-
person with a connection to God to see the miracle come. Only takes one
-
person with the connection. Do you know every one of you have a connection
-
to God and there's somebody out there that needs your connection. We have to
-
be connected people. This is great. We love Sunday. Why this is
-
where we get filled up. We get filled up, we connect with God,
-
and then we go out and help connect God to other people. The
-
power of one person. Think how many times God just sing about one person.
-
He found one guy to build a boat. His name was Noah.
-
Didn't get a committee. Let's form a boat committee. Let's do some research
-
on what kind of boats are There were no boat. Nobody had a pattern.
-
God downloaded a pattern to build something never been built before to one guy.
-
He obeyed God saved civilization. Abraham was chosen. He was one guy.
-
God looked over the whole earth and said, you are going to be
-
the father of a great nation. And he didn't even have kids. He
-
couldn't have kids, but one guy, and one guy died for our sins.
-
The power of one only took one perfect man to save you. So
-
here's this one guy, Elisha, and I like it again. Let's go
-
back to his response. Let's just said the king, Vizil, what do
-
I have to do with you? You've never sought me before. Your mom
-
and dad were real pain to me. So this is very annoying. Now
-
the good news is you can still be annoyed and be anointed. Welcome to
-
the ministry, right, Dave, Welcome to ministry. People are annoying,
-
but you can be annoyed with them and still be anointed to minister to them.
-
And so when you're annoyed with people and you feel like, I don't
-
know if I really want to do this, I don't feel like it.
-
What did Elisha do? Called for a minstrel? Why change the atmosphere?
-
He said, if I changed the atmosphere and fill it. Remember God's a
-
gat filler. There was a vacuum here. So he says, I'm going
-
to bring in a minstrel and I'm going to fill the atmosphere with worship the
-
presence of God because I, in my natural I don't really want to bring
-
a word for these guys. So I'm going to change the atmosphere. I'm
-
going to create a space. If I create a space of worship, God
-
will fill it. We just did that for the last twenty minutes. We
-
came in and we created space for God in us to interact, and God
-
came with his presence and filled it. Music creates an atmosphere for God to
-
fill. That's why we worship. It's not like a song service. We're
-
not just warming up for the sermon. It's not like a little background music
-
while the people come in. You don't get all settled in. No,
-
it's a time we come and have to create space for God, and God
-
comes and fills it. People often want to come, and I do a
-
lot of prophetic ministry. People really want a word from God. But I
-
can tell by the spirit of God, they don't have no space inside to
-
have God come and fill it. God knows our condition. God knows are
-
you hungry? Are you thirsty? Is there any space for me? You
-
say you want a word for me, But it's kind of like, now
-
take it or leave it a not this week, Well, I'll put it
-
on a shelf. And all these things. We have to always come hungry.
-
God will always meet you at your place of hungry. When you're hungry,
-
God will meet you there. So God inhabits the praises of his people.
-
And so here comes the minstrual of verse fifteen. He played and says,
-
the hand of the Lord came upon him. And then he said,
-
thus says the Lord, make this valley full of ditches. You're going to
-
have to dig some ditches. That's the word of the Lord. God is
-
telling these kings and their armies. You want water, You got a problem,
-
you got an enemy. You're out of water. And here's my solution.
-
If you want a word for me, here's the word. Create some
-
space. Go dig some ditches. What can't you just make it rain?
-
And it's like God, you're God, just he goes no. You go
-
out and dig some ditches. Make the valley, Make the valley where water
-
used to be. A valley is a place where water used to be.
-
Go into the place where you used to get resources, go back and dig
-
some ditches. Why Because God always responds to capacity, as we're talking about
-
today, increase your capacity. Can I just say something. We are in
-
a time if the harvest of the earth is getting ripe, and God wants
-
to give us more souls, We've got to create capacity. What would you
-
do I'm just being facetious a little bit. What would you do if another
-
thirty people showed up here on a Sunday morning? You're like, Ah,
-
okay, open the windows. You sit out there, we'll pack them in.
-
I mean suddenly it's like we got to create capacity. And so I
-
think it's a season where God's saying, make some more room, create some
-
more space. God will only fill what you have capacity for so, when
-
God created Adam, the breath of God came and God filled his lungs.
-
God could have blown at him up. I mean, God could fill the
-
whole universe. So why did he filled his lungs? What to their capacity?
-
So otherwise would have killed him. It's like the breath of God.
-
God always gives according to your capacity to receive. My question this morning is
-
what's your capacity right now? What's your current capacity? And don't think about
-
anybody else. You can't be jealous of somebody else's capacity. You can't be
-
small churches, can't be jealous of big churches. And you know, guys
-
that have bigger ministries or ladies that have more influence, you can't be jealous.
-
It's not ever wise biblically to compare yourself. But God will respond to
-
your life level of capacity, and he knows it's not all the same.
-
What we can do, I think and that this is what I want to
-
encourage you with this morning. I think we can pray to increase our capacity.
-
I think we have to seriously say God, okay, I want I
-
want you to increase my capacity. God, I want you to enlarge me.
-
Now here's the warning. This comes with the warning label. The answer
-
to that prayer will often come with skin on it. God might put somebody
-
in your life to increase your capacity. Another dangerous prayer. God, I
-
just want to be more loving, Okay, I'm going to send some unloving
-
people around you to stretch your ability to love. You know, God,
-
I want more faith. Okay, I'm going to put you in impossible situation
-
where faith is the only thing you're going to get out get out of it,
-
right, Yeah, God, stretch me, you know. But are
-
we ready to be stretched beyond normal? See we're coming out and you know
-
a lot of people are saying, well, just can't wait till things get
-
back to normal. I don't want to go back to normal. I don't
-
know about you. I want. I want God, I feel and I
-
hope. I was stretched over the last couple of years, and I'm ready
-
for more. I've never been more enthused about the Kingdom. I've never been
-
more excited about the harvest and reaching the nations. Yes, coming out of
-
a pandemic in the midst of war and economic crisis and all this. You
-
know what, go to the valley and dig. There's valleys all around,
-
and that's what. It's amazing how the prophet said, I want you to
-
go to this valley and dig. Dig in a valley. A valley's a
-
dried up riverbed, that's where water used to be. But sometimes you got
-
to go back into your valleys and dig a little deeper. Sometimes you got
-
to go back and get enlarged and dig a ditch in the very hole that
-
took away your resources. You got to go back. I think of Elijah,
-
his mentor. It's like, where do you get that idea? I
-
says, well, I watched my mentor Elijah once came to a widow basically
-
the same thing. I'm all out of oil, I'm all out of everything.
-
I'm going to die. I'm given up. I'm going to die.
-
What did the prophets say, eat your capacity? What? Go borrow some
-
If you have to go, borrow some vessels and I'll fill them. And
-
she borrowed as many as she could. And guess what, God filled them
-
all. If she had only borrowed more, he would have filled all them
-
too. I mean, God only can fill what you have capacity for.
-
God fills the space we create. Going back to that definition of atmosphere,
-
it can be a mental atmosphere. And I worked with a lot of churches
-
in all different kinds and sizes, and I love church planting. We're doing
-
a church plant in Florida right now and it's brand new, and I was
-
down there for Easter Sunday. It was the launch. We had thirty people
-
in a house, launched a brand new church plant. I love that.
-
But already we're trying to create an atmosphere of growth, and you've got to
-
start. And one of the things you have to do is sometimes you have
-
to talk and act like a bigger church. There's nothing wrong with the size
-
you're at, but you know what, if start think of what would be
-
be like if we were one hundred people, seventy five people, what would
-
be like if we doubled, what will we do? And you start thinking
-
that way and talking that way and treating people that way, like and treating
-
every Sunday, every Sunday, you have to treat people like a visitor.
-
You have to have the visitor mentality. Everybody comes in that door, they're
-
a visitor, and you always have to present like this is the first time
-
here. You create an atmosphere where people are like welcomed and like wow,
-
these people are friendly, Yeah, they're friendly to each other, but I
-
felt like nobody was talking to me. You know, you can say we're
-
a friendly church, yes, because you know everybody. Well, what happens
-
when the stranger walks in? Are you that friendly too? All these things
-
have to work in your capacity, developing your capacity, and the enemy will
-
try to shut you down. He'll try to take things away. I mean,
-
he'll try to numb that thirst and that hunger. But God always meets
-
us at our level of hunger. So what does it mean to increase your
-
capacity? There are always opportunities to receive its determined by an opportunity that God
-
will create. But you've got to dig. You've got to dig and start
-
digging old things, old mentalities. You've got to start digging deeper into the
-
things of God and say, God increased my capacity. I'm ready for new
-
opportunities. So right now, if you had a let's say I took out
-
your phone and I looked at your contact list and said, this is your
-
capacity right now for all the people in your life, men, women,
-
children, relatives, work, associates. They're all on a contact list.
-
That's your current capacity for relationships and they're all at different levels. But if
-
you're saying God increased my capacity, it's like there might be some people you
-
would go off your contact list right and there might be some new ones.
-
Are you ready to make new relationships? One thing I liked about I really
-
liked about COVID is I made a bunch of new relationships in my own church.
-
People I've been going to church with for years, didn't know them.
-
Now we have a very large church, but I had no system to develop
-
new relations because I'm traveling all the time. So we got locked down,
-
and like, what are we going to do? Well, I'm going to
-
prayer meetings. I'm joining some small groups I never was part of before.
-
And now I've got new friends and we meet every week either online or in
-
person. And I got new capacity. And God did that. The Lord
-
says, I will make this dry stream bed full of pools. Okay,
-
God, go ahead and make it. He goes no in the Hebrew,
-
and that one Translatessa, Actually you go and make you go dig You do
-
the digging. I'll do the filling and so part of digging. Now,
-
let me get you the concept of digging. How are you going to make
-
the valley full of district. We have to dig. So what are we
-
using? Well, you dig into the word of God every time you get
-
up in there in the morning, have your devotions. That's digging. You're
-
digging to increase Christ in you. You increase your capacity by loving people,
-
by saying, God, fill me with your love. You have to dig
-
your own own ditches because that's when you get vulnerable. You dig your own
-
dishes ditches because it really in the kingdom, it's always a relationship. It's
-
relational capacity. You make room for what's coming next. And the water is
-
behind the work. Understand that what do I really need? They needed water,
-
but the water was behind the work. The water wasn't gonna come until
-
they went out and started digging. So they went out and dig and they
-
got a word from the prophet. And some people think, if I can
-
just get a prophetic word, my life will be better. You know what,
-
profits give the word, they don't do the digging. You can get
-
a prophetic word, and if you don't dig with that word, it's not
-
going to happen. We turn it into Christian fortune telling. Just tell me
-
my fortune, snap your finger. Abrika Daba poof I'm just going to fulfill
-
prophecy. Now, it doesn't work that way. You get a prophetic word,
-
you're going to go to work. In fact, you're gonna go to
-
warfare. You're gonna go to war first for Timothy one eighteen, and you're
-
gonna have to start digging, digging into your own inner man woman and see,
-
God, is it what is it you want to remove? You know,
-
when you dig, you're removing dirt. God, is there any dirt
-
in here you want to remove? And create what more capacity for you?
-
So that's the process. So I think let's have a posture in this hour
-
and it starts with prayer. I think it starts with prayer. God,
-
help me make room for what's next. My real challenge to you, RCPs,
-
what's next. We're coming out of COVID, We're coming into a new
-
season, and yeah, even in the natural seas summertime, you're gonna have
-
more opportunity to interact with people. You've got Magnakarta Day coming and other stuff
-
happening. It's like, God, what's next for us? Increase our capacity
-
because others can't dig for you. I can preach, Dave can preach prophets,
-
can prophesy, but only you can dig. Only you can dig.
-
So we finish with this verse seventeen. Here's here's the here's the very interesting
-
part. The close of the story is amazing. Watch verse seven, Thus
-
says the Lord. There's a continuation of what the prophet says. You shall
-
not see wind or rain, but that stream bed will be filled with water.
-
How much water, plenty of water, so that you shall drink all
-
the armies, thousands of men can drink, and your livestock and your animals.
-
When God wants to increase our capacity, you won't necessarily have any outward
-
signs and wonders. And we love our signs of wonders, don't we.
-
We're all sign seekers, thrill seekers. I just want to have a one
-
service where Heaven comes down and we're all laying on the floor and the glory
-
cloud comes and it's like, well that's fine, but you know what,
-
it's not how you go down, it's how you walk when you get up.
-
I don't mind going down. And the whole idea is when he settle
-
this, he goes God's going to do it in such a way. It's
-
going to come from underneath, and it's not up here, because they're thinking
-
it's just going to rain and it's all going to come from here, and
-
God goes, no, it's going to come from down there. You won't
-
see rain, you won't see wind. It'll be supernaturally. God will do
-
it supernaturally because it's not a light thing. Labor's eighteen. This is a
-
light thing in the side of the Lord. To increase your capacity to send
-
more people to grow. It's a light thing, but we have to make
-
capacity. God will fill according to how much we dig. You're willing to
-
dig into some new relationships? Are you willing to dig into things of the
-
kingdom, really dig into your own personal life? Faith works when you dig.
-
Giving is digging. That's an example of just giving. I'm going to
-
dig into the kingdom. I'm going to uproot some things. I'm going to
-
go to the core of what I believe and dig. And if we do
-
that, God fills supernaturally. Almost to the point it's like, where did
-
that come from? You know, how did that happen? I was expecting
-
rain, water came out of the ground. We're running great, big wind's
-
gonna come and blow clouds and we're gonna have a downpour, no wind,
-
no rain, How are we gonna get water? Here it comes. God's
-
gonna supernaturally fill the capacity you create. So remember the rest of verse eighteen.
-
This is a light thing in the side of the Lord. He will
-
also give the Moabites into your hands. Now that's what started this whole problem,
-
the enemy and God uses the enemy. Don't get weird on me.
-
Think sovereignty. Think the Book of Job. Think God is in control of
-
everything. God was in control of the Moabites. And sometimes the enemy comes.
-
He's just the messenger. God says, I have something I want to
-
do in your life, and I'm here's He uses the enemy as a messenger.
-
That's all. Here are these mobites. And the goal was not just
-
to defeat an army. The goal was reconnect God's people with God himself.
-
So this is quite interesting. What's the end of this. This is a
-
light thing in the side of the Lord. He'll also give the mobites into
-
your hands because we have a common enemy. Now watch and you shall attack
-
every fortified city, every choice city will fall, every good tree, and
-
stop up all the springs of water, and ruin every good piece of land
-
with stones. The next morning, about that time, the water came from
-
the direction of Edom, and the country was filled with water. You can
-
read the rest of the chapter. But they even thought with the way the
-
sun came and hit the water, and they thought it was blood, and
-
they thought the mobiles thought that the other three armies were at war and they're
-
shedding. Blood was in the water, and they said, oh, we
-
could take these guys down. I was like, surprise, baked you out.
-
It's not true, said they struck the Moabites when they came upon them.
-
God has the master strategy, and it doesn't make sense to us.
-
But God's always concerned about reaching people. Are you Are we really concerned about
-
reaching people an incredible time, where as I said, people are softer now,
-
people are hungry. People around it really want to know how can I
-
connect with God? Who's going to what's coming next? There's almost like this
-
like there's a still fear. We're still dealing with fear. If we were
-
here in October, I think I taught on the power of a breakthrough.
-
And one of the first things we pray for is a breakthrough and courage because
-
it helps you avoid fear. So you have to continue to pray for breakthroughs
-
and courage. Continue to pray for breakthroughs and commitment and in your heart that's
-
digging. See the thing I taught on last is really that was the precursor
-
to how do we increase our capacity? You pray for internal breakthroughs? God,
-
increase me in here, help me be committed to the process I'm in.
-
Help me to make sure that I have a breakthrough in heart, motive
-
and all these things are layers of what God is going to do. So
-
I just I'm excited for you, I really am. This room is full
-
today, but you can't it won't hold what God wants to do. And
-
I'm not just being like maybe I'm being a little prophetic, but I think
-
God has got another place for you to put your eyes on and pray about.
-
God. We want to increase our capacity, increase our reach. So
-
can I pray for you? You're ready to do some digging. Let's just
-
take a moment or two in prayer now because I want this to sink in
-
and just say, Okay, God, are you my first question? Are
-
you feel like there's an enemy out there? Yes? Okay, God,
-
we have an enemy, but he's a common enemy. We're not in this
-
alone. Number two, are you thirsty? If you get in position,
-
you're going to get thirsty. God's getting RCF in position to come against the
-
enemies of Egham in this region so we can win the souls back out of
-
the kingdom of darkness. But we have to get in a position. But
-
getting into position, you're going to get thirsty. And some of you might
-
be thirsty for other things. Like I said, but inside, inside,
-
it's got to be that phrase. I want to get there in Lord,
-
I want to get to where you want me to be. We want to
-
get to that place where we're going to win the battle. So God,
-
we're hungry. We're thirsty, and God, we need a word from you.
-
We need a word from you. The word today is if you'll dig
-
ditches. If you'll dig, God will fill. If we increase our capacity
-
within, God will fill. If we say, God, what is it
-
you want to remove from my life and what is it you want to add
-
to my life? God will fill the space. He is a gap filler.
-
God will create atmosphere and he will fill it because that's who he does.
-
He goes a gap filler. If we dig, God will fill.
-
So Father, I pray for every one of us, every one of us,
-
God is we leave today? May that be running through our minds and
-
hearts. God, What do you want me to dig? God? Where
-
do you want me to dig? How do you want me to dig?
-
What things need to be dug in my life? What valleys do I go
-
back into and dig? Show me? Take me, God, introduce new
-
people in my life that's going to stretch me. Increase my capacity, mental
-
capacity, spiritual capacity. God, increase us in this hour. The Kingdom
-
of God is all about increase. Yeah, all about multiplication. The first
-
command was be fruitful and multiply. And I can just tell you from being
-
with a couple of networks recently in America, in Wales, in the Midlands,
-
there's a great move of multiplication in the earth. It's happening in the
-
underground church. There's a massive movement of multiplication in Afghanistan, in Iran,
-
in Asia, in the midst of great persecution, in the midst of warfare.
-
There's a great harvest in the earth right now. And you can't compare,
-
So don't compare yourself. Just say God, we want in, we
-
want into the harvest. Pray the Lord of the harvest that will send forth
-
labors into his harvest. It's his harvest. We just want to be available
-
with our shovels right will dig. So, Father, I pray over our
-
CF, every leader here, every attender, God, that you would increase
-
their capacity, starting even today, so that you can fill it supernaturally and
-
we can defeat the enemy together. Pray this in Jesus' name. Amen,
-
God bless you.
