Yah yah yah Morney morning. So as we journey through the power by series,

the the work today is about the power by the relationship mhm. And

occurred to see you as us putting this work together in Zurich of all places,

that wherever you go you're gonna plug in h So we went to Zurich

and as our first hold in about three and a half years been out of

Even here today we rely on technology. We plugged into a power source

that failed. We got battery power for a period of time. After that,

we're in trouble. So today I want to talk about being connected to

the power source. Okay, the power source. The powle say it's not

by mind, it's not by power, it's by my spirits. Say it's

a lord. It's not in the nose thing And all truth is parallel.

By what that I mean is up that the natural parallels the spiritual run.

The spiritual realm is more real than natural rual God, He's a spirit,

you know, we are less full of His spirit. So all through this

parallel. So as we need to be as we need to plug in a

device to a power source, we need to be connected to the source.

M hm. We need to be connected to the source. If we're not

connected, there's no flow and power. If you've got a battery in your

laptop or in your smartphone, it's pretty useless. So for us to fulfill

god plan and God's purpose for us and everyone in this room, everyone listening

to this now online, everyone to listen to this later. God as a

plan and a purpose for our lives. We need to align with that plan

and purpose. But to fulfill that plan and that purpose, we need to

be connected to the source. Because you cannot give what you have not gone.

We cannot give or you have not gone if you are not connected to

Him the power we do. It would not flow if I disconnect my laptop

from the power, so after a while it will not work. God's power

fills us, it's released through us. We need to be that continual filling

and that continual flow so we can impact the people and the world around us.

Otherwise, why are we here God could take it out on the first

load. We're here to impact this world, to share the love of God,

to have those difficut conversation with the people at the right time, in

the right place, to make an impact. Jesus said, and I will

pray the Father and he will give you another helper Paracletos in the Greek,

that he may abide with you forever, the Spirit of Truth, whom the

world cannot receive because it neither sees him. No one knows him, but

you know him. But he dwells with you and will be in you.

So the Holy Spirit dwells with us and in us, with us and in

us, he is not in it. He is not a thing. He

is a person. And he came with me today. He's with you today.

Jesus said, Nevertheless, I tell you the truth. It's to your

advantage that I go away. Phap, I do not go away. The

helper will not come to you, But if I depart, I will send

him to you. The Holy greatest job is to work with us, to

work through us the teachers, to guide us to directors. But it's all

about a relationship. It's not about transaction. But we go into a shop

were hand over some money, or you fash your phone and you pay for

something and you walk away. It's not about a financial tradactual attractors about a

relationship. But if you splash the cass, if you know as your phone,

it's where you where you are in the generational thing. It's not about

that sort of transactions about relationship. But that all that isn't that. It's

not what you know, it's who you know. M hm. So the

question this one is do you know him? Do you know him? We

all know about him, we all having an experience of him, but do

you know him? I have no negative thing m This is been because Sunday

I was surprised talking about it. I didn't find that way in him by

looking at the dates. Do you know him? He wants to have that

relationship with us all of us have in here in the room online obviously night

you must have their relationship with us. But we know him entirely as a

close friend. Because the power is linked to the relationship. No relationship,

no power stabs him. From Acts one eight to very earlier scripture says,

but you shall receive power when the holy bird has come upon you, and

you should be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and

to the ends of the earth. You shall receive power when their on you.

The brief work power is jurnamus so the miracle working power of God,

the wind, witnesses, the world martyr, and the Greek. Interesting enough.

The key they're staying connected and to walk into that power and seeing it

flow through wards is focusing on that relationship. You don't seek the power,

you don't seek the gift. You're seeking the person God is a relation on

God, the God soil of the world that he gave his own son.

Believing in Charlotte Parish have ever lasting life. That's step one. Step two

about the power, connection and relationship. Let's look at Jesus. He's our

When you're prioritize in relations ship, we need to remove all the distractions.

Jesus took himself away from all his staff, all the people with him,

and spend some time alone with all. He created space. We have

to create space in our busy diaries. Ideas we have these things smartphones or

laptops. Was a very small place and twenty four hours a day, seven

days a week, somedy can contact. You. Don't turn that thing out.

We need to create that space. We don't develop a relationship without creating

space. But it's not all the spirit always a relationships, something else,

just not. There's a Luke sixteen and verse twelve says, now it came

to pass in those days that he went up on the mountain to pray and

continued at all night in prayer to God. I'm not sending in to pray

all night and prayer to God. That's what I'm saying this morning. I'll

say, it's about separating a time where we have that quality time with him.

Nine eight Jesus took Peter and John and James with him. They came

to pass about eight days after he's saying that. He took Peter, Change

and John and went up to pray, went to the mountain to pray.

When we set time aside, our relationship develops. It's from the pressure position

of intimacy and relationship. The presence of God moves from people's lives. He

kind of grabs something and go. You have to put the time. It's

just aliens, Jesus said in John five nineteen, most assuredly, I say

to you, the son can't do nothing of himself what he sees the Father

do. Whenever he does, the son does in like manner. In those

times of intimacy, Jesus received direction about what to do. Jesus was led

heart, can impact some of his life. We do not know what people's

going through people's lives, but God does. If you have it, we

are His agents on the earth, sting. It's His person and his presence

into people's lives. If we're not connected, rather than an empty don't having

that time of relationship? What can we impart with someone? This is not

a oh my goodness, put the tapoone direct aunt my bottom. I'm gonna

get a snack here. It's about having an open conversation about connecting with a

hole this bait. So I don't feel convicted. Receive those bit of saying

to us and see what just as we meaning to me, we're all doing

Spirit's hand. Acts two one to four says, when the they are Pentecost

had fully capt they will all we've won the call in one place. And

suddenly there came a sound of sound from heaven, as a rushing, mighty

wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there

appeared to them divided terns as of fire, and one sat upon each other,

and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with

terms added a great game and mutterans that day was a game changer for the

church. H Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever. The power

and the presence of the Holy Spread that was on that day, the same

power and presence as in this room today. It's how we connect with that

power and presence, how we walk with that power and that presence and that

person. Nothing has changed. God's power has not changed. It's how we

connect with it. God's power has not passed away. I don't believe that

that's not true. Peter knew the importance of relationship, which he learned from

Jesus the hard way. He was a rough tig toftic visherman wasn't really good

at relationships that he learned, and that recording Acts three. But he went

to the temple, and Peter and John went up together to the temple,

had the hour of prayer about a nine power. A certain man, laying

from his another's wound, was carried whom they lay daily at the gate of

the temple, which is called beautiful, to ask for arms from those went

to the temple who seen Peter and John about to go into the temple,

asked for arms, and fixing his eyes upon him with John. Peter said,

look at us, and he gave them his attention, expected to receive

something from them. And Peter said, silver and gold I do not harm.

For what I do have, I give to you in the name of

Jesus Christ and natheras rise up and walk. And he took him by the

right hand and lifted him. Immediately his feet and uncle Gods received strength.

So he leaping up the stud and walked and enter the temple with them,

walking, leaping and praising God. Peter said, silver and go I do

not have because he wasn't carrying silver and gold. He was going to the

temple to break. Because he was connected in relationship and because he listened to

the homely spirit, he was able to connect with that person. The power

of God was released through him and that guy walked. That was a witness

to many people. Now Jesus walked through that same temple gay many times,

which is high the life that that man was dropped there every day the Jewish

Jusus ministry. He did not heal that man, but in that chiros moments,

which is a God's perfect time, that chiros movement, God moved in

a man's life that was a witness to Jerusalem at that time. We need

to recognize it when we're connected to that source, there being a chiros moment

in our lives. I've got the minister is great, somebody which will unlock

might pass over them. When we're in a relationship with God in such a

way that we're so full, it's like we drip the presence of girl and

to do it here. But there's analogy that I sometimes use where I have

a clear glass of water and I feel I have a jug and I fill

the glass up and the glass is full, and I take the glass and

I drop it in the jug of water. But if I keep it in,

the glass overflows and I'm dropping the jug of water, you cannot see

the glass. And it's like that with us when we overflow that because presents

when I drop it in the jugger of water, and you cannot see the

glass, or you can see if the presence of God, but he can

see the person of God. I really need to get the position where all

people see his God. The vessel is invisible, to be a glass for

the water in the jugger water is invisible. I cannot see it. True,

in the back of this room, you will be able to see it.

We need to be in that position where we're so far with Him that

that presence of those farmers not the work of a man. It is the

work of whisperit. Acts Acts five fifteen says, so they brought the sick

out into the streets and lay them on beds and couches. At least the

shadow of Peter passing by Mike Orlans and of them. God has not changed.

We need to align with his plan and his purpose. We aligned with

the God's plan and purpose, we pay the price. Listen to the words

that over spirit we're walking this way. Nothing is impossible. Nothing is impossible.

Acts nineteen read of Paul, not to whether Paul met Jesus physically,

but met him in the spirit. Acts nineteen eleven to twelve. Says now

God worked and usual miracles by the hands of Paul, so that even handkerchiefs

Because a relationship with the Holy Spirit, then there's an impartation of the

Holy Spirit hasn't changed. Is here now. It is through that relationship with

Him that all these things happened. As looked at Jesus, Will look to

a relationship. God wants us to have that sort of relationship with him,

with his Holy Spirit. It is not in the amount of them. It

is not beyond our reach because of the step by step relationship. It's not

a big preacher as a lady or a man. It's not. It's not

for a big preachers, but the boy in Christ. So don't think how

I can do that. That's not many, because that's not true. You

can't do that because all things are possible. Good God, all things are

possible. Kay mmm mmmm, that's what about me? It's what about you?

Whatchustiness do we need to make to move on to the next step in

the relationship. If you be somebody for the first time, you shake the

hand, if it's the bits of thing or you know, if you're that

sort of thing, you know, you say hello, doubt you, and

over time you get to know somebody. Over time you know, you have

a chat, you develop a relationship. Some relationships stick, some relationship don't

sticks. Do you go for a coffee and they have a chance and to

have a phone call, but the relationship develops. There's all the starting point.

I haven't seen him something for some time, and you get back into

somebody. Some of those relationships click on someone click today. It's a case

of have a reconnecting with the hole from but developing our relationship with him that

is excluded is included. So they want to give an invitation today for people

that come forward to other receive him for the first time. All this from

or to have a refreshing h Sometimes the the daily the daily grind, try

call it grinds people down and pushes people down. I hope they want to

refresh some people this morning. There's a river of grace for in this room

this morning. We won't guess what. We've got to get in the river

to get wet. That tis pretty simple. But you know, we see

on the sidelines it looks very pretty, but you've got to able to get

away. So I'm say about this night. God has created this opportunity for

you. I didn't create it. I just worked there. There's an opportunity

for you to connect, to receive for refreshing, to receive a filling,

to receive an anointing. Not to break some yaks, because it's the anointing

that breaks, you know, m h, it's not the weathering on that.

This is the work on this bird. So you need to consider what

you want to do because that's a personal relationship to you. And don't there's

nothing to with me. I'm pointing out there because that's my brief. But
