1st October 2023 - Communion Service - Juliet Najja - Awaken my soul

Pray for you. Okay, Father, we thank you this morning, and

we pray for our sister Juliet as she has placed in her heart the desire

to serve you and prepare the words for us to be blessed this morning.

I pray that your Holy Spirit will go and guide her through the process and

delivering your word, Lord, and touch our lives and transform our lives.

In the name of Jesus. We pray, Amen, and let me say

do this very good. Good morning everybody. Yeah, thank you sister.

LETI for praying. Thank you, praise and worship team. You made me

glad that hands stand screamed, so I hope I'll be able to speak through

these words screaming. So with our God to for today. And we thank

you for those joining us online that you've chosen to fellowship with us today.

Because nothing happens by mistake, but God prepares us for all these things.

Sometimes you think you landed in something. Sometimes you wonder why was I here?

But God the lines are paths and brings people across our paths and change

your situation for our good. So I'm glad to share the word of God.

The Word. In fact, the Bible says God uses versons that are

despised to profound those who think they know it all. So I'm not saying

anything. I just thought i should share that. So I am just humbled

to sit here and pray that the Holy Spirit help me to share. Is

some We always have like half an hour to share, and there are so

many things that you want to say, but then you of course limited by

time. So Holy Spirit, precious Cancel Redeemer, thank you for giving us

an opportunity in this time, in this day where darkness has covered the earth

and deep darkness the people. But will you have chosen to come and fellowship

here, to come and stand in the grace you've given us to share the

word to proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord. So thank you that you're faithful

to be here. Holy Spirit. You say, where two or three are

gathered in your name, there you will be. So we are so grateful

that you're here and that you're going to speak to our hearts, at least

to mine. And I pray that the words out share will probably touch somebody

here, even online. So today my topic is about awake my soul.

Awake my soul. As I was thinking when Pastor Dave asked me to share.

I sat there and midst of running up and down, and I said,

Lord, wa'ts your lives? Share? And I noticed that where we

are at in our generation, the darkness has covered the earth, and truth

seems to be the lie to many, and the lie seems to be the

truth to many. So speaking to us so is gonna help us? This

will help me? Yeah, So I will start by sharing from first bitter

to nine. And it says all my verses always will always come from New

King James Bible first. So that's me New King James Bible, because I

think it's the only truth. I'm joking anyway. Says, but you are

chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, his own people,

that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into

the marvelous light. So we've been singing these things. The worship team helped

us to proclaim the praises to him who has called us out of deep darkness.

We may not be many in number, but that angels are with us.

The whole world is full of people from in places where the light is

shining. It may not be too many people but God has got someone in

every corner of the world shining. Yes, so we have been called to

be a royal priesthood. And children of God, have you got your your

royal priesthood hat on? I want to ask you. You are royal priesthood.

And this heart is not a physical heart. That royal priesthood is like

queen, where's a elegant queenery or kingerye crown? But we have one that

is not seen with eyes. But yet it's sitting there and it's glowy.

It's glowy, it's glowing. So Isaiah sixty, thanks, arise and shine

for your light as came, and the glory of the Lord is reason upon

you. For behold, the darkness covers the earth and deep darkness the people.

But the Lord will arise over you, and his glory will be seen

upon you. The gentle shall come to your light and cans to the brightness

of your rising. Again, I'm in that place where we are. We

need to believe that we are royal priesthood. Need to believe it, as

Chariot Charian was sharing, we need to take it when it comes to godly

things. Yes, we can come as a corporate team but the ownership belongs

to you as an individual. You've left home because you believe we all here

have left our homes, came out of our comfort over bed on a Sunday

to come and fellowship with our brethren the Kingdom of God, for which we

are grateful. But you need to be an individual. What am I going

to purpose? What am I going to get today? What is the Lord

gonna say? I want to hear what the Lord is saying. It doesn't

matter where the donkey speaks it. I am going to hear it, and

I'm gonna take it, and I'm gonna say the Graver's been canceled. Like

we've been singing. There are so many things screaming. You wake up in

the morning and there's a big picture painting itself before your face. Look,

you have no job. How are you going to feed yourself? Look?

Your only son, So how are you gonna face this thing? Look,

you're sick, You're going to die and death where the s cancer in front

of you is saying you're going to die? So you need to take that

sleep of faith to say no, how of the Graver has been breaking and

he has taken my cancer for me. I don't have to have it.

He has paid the price he bled for that punishment that I would have had

if he hadn't forgiven me because of the scene I've committed before. So I'm

inspired to share that we are awaken up. So when I study, when

we study the Bible, you see, you compare the Old Testament people how

they activated the Kingdom of God. You look at how the disciples activated the

Kingdom of God. Yeah, and then where are we how are we doing

this? What are we doing with this royal crown? How are we shining?

Well? Are we making a difference? Yeah? How are we making

a difference? Speak? Like I said, look at yourself, examining your

own heart. Don't think about your neighbor, because although you want to help

your neighbor, for you to help your neighbor, you got to know the

truth that and then through the lights shining through you, your neighbor will see.

Oh I've seen Julia lame yesterday. Oh she's been lame since she was

born, but now she's working. I really want to know what she did

to get there. So yeah, so our generation really needs to app the

game because as opposed to the Old Testament, where we had Moses leading,

and we just had to follow Moses what it says we do, and we

you believe. Everything I'm gonna talk about today is faith focused, by the

way. To help this. You can never know or get anything from God

without faith. So it's all faith fuelled. So where is your fee?

Well, it's seen here. God has come. If you're born again,

God has already come into you and deposited the whole Kingdom of Heaven in you.

What we've seen back in Palace is nothing compared to that kingdom. But

we have to sit down and think about it. No, man, we

need to think about this and know for sure that this is reality. You've

got to tell your heart that this is reality. It's not faith. It's

not thebs that's where you start from. It is reality that the people who

were with Jesus and saw him and worked with him and even saw him crucified.

I even held them him and crucified him in ignorance. I've told us

these things, so they are true. Yeah, So we need to If

we get there, then our faith begins to do begins to act. So

what is the soul today? I had I google that's soul. The meaning

of the so is not my own, but he says, so as you're

aware that human being is made of spirited, spiritul and body. So today

I like to share about the human soul. And this is what I found

on the internet. It says the soul is the subject of human consciousness and

freedom, soul and body together from one unique human nature. Each human soul

is individual and immortal, immediately created by God. The soul does not die

with the body from which it is separated by death, and it will and

with it which will be reunited to the final resurrection to God. Or I

put there this is my and my gulotology or hell. When we say they

lost a lost soul, we always talk about so there is a lost soul.

What is a lost so? So a lost so is one that has

never identified with Christ. So in the end, when in the end of

one's time, that soul would definitely have God have a destiny, which the

Bible says is hell. And many times we don't want to talk about these

things. But if God is God, then he is God, and what

it says is real. Yeah, so as in my explan about the soul,

it says the soul is an altar. In the Greek the word for

altar is doesn't societarian, which means the place of sacrifice an altar, A

soul is an otar. As we have a spirit, soul, and body.

The soul is part of is that part of the body where decisions are

made good or bad. Remember said that in the end the soul will be

united either to God or somewhere which might be a hell, which is hell

according to the Bible. Yeah, so with the soul, so it's like

the middle part. We have the spirit, we have the soul, then

we have the body. So depending on how we treat our soul. If

my soul is born again and God has deposited the whole heaven in me,

yeah, I need to nature that soul to feed that so like I feed

myself to be healthy. Well, like I feed myself too for to get

a job. I have to. If I'm gonna have this job, I

need to educate myself and be ready for an interview and to be to execute

this job out. So the soul is the place where we are supposed to

meet with the author of life, the author, the owner of the kingdom

that is deposited into us. And we feed ourselves. We see we feed

our soul with the word of God. So how do we feed it?

We come here and listen to the word of God, and then whatever has

touched you, you take it home and you you meditate on it. And

on top of that, you got to take your own responsibility to feed yourself.

If you like potato, you're gonna go and buy potato. Yeah,

if I want to eat rice, I'm gonna get rice. So the whole

Bible is packed with remedies, with resources food various types. If you like,

if you're sick, you're gonna look for the words that encourage you to

be strong and gain that to get to that divine exchange we are talking about

to where you said to that giant, you will not have my life.

You're you're coming at me, But do you know what Jesus did, So

you're not my portion get behind me, and that takes faith. You need

to get to that place where you said to the devil, Now I'm not

for you to bath it. So you cannot like again, Chari shared,

you cannot see from a distance. Yes, I believe God died, I

believe Jesus, and then you leave it there. It's not gonna help you.

So you have to do that. So in the Old Testament they built

an encounter with God, God told him to dismantle that oltar and then built

the altar on God on it. So then what do you do? When

of my dad will be there in me. So then as I walk along

the street all my life, somebody will tell me about the Gospel, and

then I'll become born again and says the order has gone, the new has

come. But then although it has come, the nature of my father is

still present. How did mam cook? He used to put onion this and

that and that. So that's how you cook. How did we used to

do this thing? What's the culture of where I come from? We don't

talk to Indians my culture. No, no, no, no, that's

when a black person all these things. I'm just setting these examples so you

may know. So you have to read out. We have to read out

all these things that the Bible tells us are wrong. So when we study,

when we feed ourselves with the Word of God, and the Holy Spirit,

of course is deposited in us when Jesus comes into our lives. Those

We want to pray with you today that you will become born again. But

what I was saying, the Holy Spirit, as we study, the Word

will reveal. We'll flag out something and you remember, oh, we were

forgive me and help me to break from this. Yes, so the

Lord is faithful. When you hand it over, he said, I don't

engage with the spirit, the Word of God, which is spirit to not

fear, and the Lord then will start to protect you, and then you

will have this confidence to not fear. So we need to our soul needs

to eat the good food. If I want to lose weight, I'm gonna

look for food that's not gonna expand me. Yeah, I'm gonna look for

food that will not will help me to not gain more weight and do whatever

I want to do. If I want to be healed, I'm not gonna

be listening to conversations of cancer. You look at cancer on the internet.

It's gonna tell you how quickly you're gonna die and you will be more afraid.

So look at the word of God, and he says, yes,

by Jesus, wounds, we were here. Jesus took my infirmities in his

body and he makes me well. And you think about that. You've got

to sleep bringing that giant to a stand still. Otherwise it's gonna pop you

in the night. Yeah, bring it to a stand still. Say Lord,

I thank you that as I got sleep, you're here with me,

that I'm hidden in you like some ninety one says, you're gonna help me

tonight as I sleep, I'm not gonna be afraid. As I sleep,

I'm expecting healing. You are gonna heal me. I'm gonna wake up well.

Even if you wake up and you're not well, keep at it.

It's God's timing. It's God timing, it's his kingdom. He knows when

it's gonna set you free. So yeah, as I fifty three says he,

Jesus was made. Jesus' soaw was made and offering for our sin.

Again, it's about the so he got. He poured out his soul to

But I know that I'm not our new creation. The word says I

came. They can keep lingering, but they will surely live at some point.

So that's why you go to purpose. Yeah, So the soul can

be joyful and fulfilling is due to towards God, whereas it can also be

wounded. Can a Christian have a wounded soul? Of course, of course,

why because they have not taken their activated their faith to the next level.

And even at the next level there there's gonna be giants on all levels

until you rest in the Lord. Oh Jesus comes back. There's gonna be

giant surfacing all the time. But that's so you need to identify that.

Oh I don't feel. It starts by you being awake, awake my soul,

that is my title. Awake my soul and be alert. So if

I feel like something is poking me, I'm not feeling joy, I'm feeling

interrupted, I'm not at peace, stop, stop and check your self assessment.

Why is this? Sometimes it could be like I'm gonna be taking a

wrong step. Therefore my spirit is poking to say, check yourself out.

This is not the right direction. So then I need to stop and check

myself and see what is bringing this. Recall why am I unhappy? Did

I meet use Letty did? Why is it that when I met late Letty

I got upset? Why? Then you will you will check yourself and know

why you're upset at Letty this time? And you have to root that out.

And the same goes on and and don't and we have, as I

said, this generation of blood Lyne, they're the biggest sindrets in our progress.

Yes you're born again, and if you don't activate them, they are

going to want you because you're their child. You're saying I'm the child of

God, but you don't see God, and they are saying, no,

you are a child. And they bring these giants to make you lose focus

because they are also claiming because Satan is using them to claim you down.

So yeah, so I said, a soul can be wounded. Let's look

at look look one forty six to fifty seven. But I'm not gonna go

into depth with it. Mary went to visit Elizabeth. Elizabeth was pregnant,

and when Elizabeth Mary entered the house and saw Elizabeth, her heart leaped the

glorifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God, my savior, for

he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant, the humble state

that also requires that we we we we become humble. We cannot take pride

and arrogance and all these high things that we have achieved in the world before

God. You got to humble yourself. And with that God comes in and

John John three uh two says, beloved, I pray that you may prosper

in the things, in the in all things and being health. Just as

your soul prospers, He wishes that we may prosper. And that prosperity is

still a rast possibility to prosper. If we don't, then of course it's

wishing. It's not something that is gonna be put on me by by force.

The devil actually wants to put himself on us by force. But the

spirit wants you to choose. What do you want? What do you see?

Do you to ask me, do you think I can do this?

God wants you to be in a state of saying yes, I believe,

and I think you can. I think you can help me. And then

when you're in that state he says, yes, then I'll show you who

I am. Yeah, so see this scripture. So that so that is

after God prospers and be in good health. What causes a soul to be

asleep or broaken? Question? I can't. Yeah, I can't. I

can't say all of them, but obviously will be here all day. But

from broken family relationship, sexual abuse, trauma and painful experiences, and practicing

have your feel if you're day in your soul and in your life. Indeed,

pain and even poverty can create so wounds and many more. So wounds can

also be from bloodline, as I mean, so wants would be privates from

a healthy and fruitful life and fail us to trust God as an affected person

tends to gravitate towards the heart the negative side, as a wounded soul will

always do why did they say this to me? Why have they done this

to me? You hear Pastor Dave this scripture. He was aiming at me.

You hear that woman saying, I think they were aiming at me.

Because the devil is that soul is wounded, and it's twisting words, twisting

things to make you feel believe the wrong thing. Yeah. So some of

the Psalms one forty sevens David says, he heals the broken hearted and binds

up their wounds. Again, it's all about souls. Proverbs eighteen fourteen say

the spirit of a man who sustained his infirmity, but a wounded spirit who

can bear it? I think we had a similar verse will duly on Friday,

similar to this who can bear it? It's also in proverbs, but

not this exact one. If who can bear a wounded spirit? But whatever

you try to do for a wounded person, they don't recognize it, they

don't appreciate it. They can only see the negative. So who can bear

it? Yes? And Revelation three fifteen says again in terms of a wounded

So this lookewarmness comes out of woundedness. I believe I know three fifteen It

says, I know your works, that you're neither cold nor hot. I

wish you were cold or hot. So then because you look warm and neither

cold nor hot, I'll vomit you out of my mouth. So we need

to make sure that we check our soul and let it be full of praise

like we praised when you praise. When you feel like you're something is wrong,

check yourself, praise God. Get a song. Some people I hear

saying, you put on the song on the radio, and you listen.

It's good to listen. But after these words, as Cheryon was saying,

you have to speak them out. You split that sea that I can walk

through it. And it's coming from when Israel was being chased by Pharaoh.

By the time they're at this red sea, they are caught in left center.

They have nowhere to escape in front where they could have run. There's

a ray sea, red sea at the back. Pharaoh is coming with a

vengeance. Yeah, so I'm sure some of them would have actually nearly fainted

at that point. You gave up, you know, I don't know if

you've ever reached a stage where you gave up. I think I had a

dream when I was in a state where I gave up. I didn't see

any hope that I was gonna not be killed. Yeah, But suddenly God

put a rod in my hand. This was not part of my teaching.

I'm just sharing. Suddenly I say, rod in my hand, and this

big python was at me, and even the energy to beat the python with

this road was not there. However, with the tiniest, tiniest touch with

the rod of God, that python went backward. It worked ran away from

me backward. So this is the excellency of the word of God, the

excellence of the spirit of God like his word. Even if you're so weak

and at the point of death, if you speak Jesus, some of you

will see that remedy comes in because you are activating the Kingdom. Everything is

about activation. I think I wrote somewhere in mine notes that you know,

when you want an account with the bank, they will give you a card.

The card won't work until you've activated it, so you got to activate

it and then do business with the bank. So with the Kingdom of God,

it's the same, Children of God, it's the same. You got

to activate, and it's at all times one off. When you're gonna withdraw

man, you have to put in your card, put your cord in,

and then withdraw. So when you call Heaven, well know Juliet is calling.

She needs this, and Heaven will lose what Heaven has got to lose

for me at that point. So okay, how can we how can I

sleeping so be awakened? We go to Psams forty two, verse five and

six. There are so many, but obviously you have to pick one that

goes for the day. Sam. Yeah, why are you cast down?

O my soul? Remember I said you assess yourself, you assess the situation,

and you feel you're cast down. You've got this unrest in your heart,

in your mind something. What's that? David said, why are you

cast down, O, my soul, and why are you disquieted within me?

Then he says, no, you will not be that hoping the Lord,

for he shall I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

Oh, my God, my soul cast down, My soul is cast

down within me. Therefore I remember, I remember you from the land of

Jordan and the heights of Harmon and the hill of mis. So it says,

when it's cast down, you have to withdraw from what is in you,

what you've deposted there. Sometimes you can use this, like how the

red sea well has parted. You go to the world and you see how

God spoke to the rock of all things. He spoke to the rock for

what had come out, and you see the new think you're not you're softer

than a rock. So you're much softer than a rock. So you're gonna

move so yeah, So you recall the things you record the word of God.

You can even recall what God has done for you in the past,

how He has comed through in previous situations, and that will encourage you to

rise and up your game and the fear will run away from you. So,

by the way God gave us the responsibility to awaken our source, we

have access. We have to access where we stand. Repent when it's coming

from something that is not godly. You see that what I've done now is

giving me discomfort. And when he identify it, you repent and ask God

to forgive you for having done that, and then change direction to work,

to walk from where you are going to the right direction, go and return

to God through his manual, the Bible. The manu of God is the

Bible, and we maintain our fellowship with Him through prayers, through worship,

through fellowship like this, through talking to one another, praying with one another,

and meditate and magnify the Lord. Magnify the Lord with what he has

done, with what he says. His word says. So when fear is

screaming, scream loud and praise the Lord and marg in find the word of

God so that you shat that fear out. So by awakening ourself to God,

we activate our salvation package and we become spiritual giants, little by little,

little by little, and also have and we could also get the help

of holy communion. Today we're going to have a corporate Holy Communion, but

at home you can do it as well. If your soul is broaken,

if you're sick, you just you can take holy convenion. And as you

declare the Blood of Jesus, it's got to actually watch those altars that were

screaming in your soul. Blood of Jesus will heal your soul, and then

the Spirit will strengthen your soul once again to start picking the right taking the

right decisions and keep you aboard in Christ. A wounded so can be awakened

if one chooses to yield to the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit will

release the light to shine in that soul. And we know that Christ is

the light of the world, and his light will heal the soul of all

idols and fears and whatever is in the soul, so that we can be

strengthened with His might and shine to God and shine by shining, meaning God

wants us to shine so that our neighbor can come. Now. Our generation

is so hard, especially in these developed countries, to pitch and preach the

gospel. In Africa, you can easily do that. You take your mic

and somebody you start preaching, and people stop by. Here is not so.

So here is that light shining in me and you that will cause my

neighbor to see. Oh, I've been against this woman this long. She

never gets angry with me. She helps me in time of travel. No,

I think I need to ask what makes her not angry with me when

she should. And that way you start ministering the gospel, little by little

to such a one. So Matthew five sixteen says, let your light so

shine before men that you may see, that they may see your good and

your good works, and glorify her father in heaven. He says, he

did not come to destroy the law or the prophets. He came to destroy.

He did not come to destroy, but to fulfill what the prophets proclaimed.

They proclaimed Jesus will be born, and he was born, and trull

he was crucified. They kept on saying he will be crucified, he will

save the world, and that truly came to pass. So we shouldn't be

like the Pharisees. They want to put on long garments and speak words say

say to you, do not do this, do not do that. Bring

your taxes, do this, But they themselves cannot do that. So Jesus

saying, no, you drill in my word and shine and buy the good

works. You're show that God is in you. You preach the gospel with

evidence. Okay, why does it? What does it mean to shine?

The Bible tells Us in Acts seventeen eighteen twenty eight. Sorry, he says,

in him we live and move and have a being. Again, you

have to know that everything of God is by faith. We have to remember

that in Him, in God, in Jesus, I live and move and

have my mighty being. So until you've believed that, you won't know what

to do. You're gonna be like the other person who doesn't know God,

and there won't be a difference between you and them, which is sad.

It is sad. That's why our generation is having less light because we don't

know who we are. We don't know the privilege we have over the people

who didn't have the Holy Spirit, or the people who didn't who Jesus didn't

forgive by his blood. Shining is activated by our salvation at accepting that Jesus

is Lord and what he has to offer. Yeah, So we overcome all

hindrances by working in faith, spending time with God and being prayerful all the

time, not a one off, and following the spirit leading being of good

cheer even in tough times. Don't break, don't cry like you have no

father, like you're not a child of God. Don't be like a one

who is not a royal priesthood. Remember my royal priesthood. Things may look

ugly, but he who created the whole earth is with me. He's in

me. It's not you can't see him with my eyes, but he's in

me, and he knows what's going on and is that hand to help me.

If I call by faith, the call has to be a call of

faith because many times, like I think, I want to share something here.

The blood of Jesus is mighty. The name of Jesus is a strong

tower. As we sank at the mention of the name of Jesus, Heaven

pays attention. But if I'm just saying it Jesus, your heart is already

decided. I'm sick. But you're going to try to scold the name of

Jesus. It's not gonna work. You're gonna pray the blood of Jesus.

That devil knows it. He was in heaven before. Remember, he knows

the kingdom very well. He knows the mind very well. He knows when

you're calling by faith and when you're in fear. So if you're calling in

fear, he will strengthen his attack. But you need to check yourself.

Am I going to mine faith? And if you feel like you're afraid?

Stop again? Check your soul, check your heart. And if I'm afraid,

I'm gonna dress fear first before I even start saying, God help me,

I'm gonna address fear. How am I going to address it? Lord,

my father? I am a child. I feel I'm afraid. You

say I'm supposed to do this, but I'm afraid. Lord, the doctor

says, I'm dying and I'm somehow afraid. Help me to believe, Holy

Spirit, help me to believe. Please strengthen me with the might andjelsph God,

help me. Send somebody to quicken me. Send somebody to help me.

So as you do that, faith rises. Faith rises. You know,
