Father, We thank you for Simon. We thank you that is the one
-
you chosen to bring us your word today. We ask you to bless him.
-
We ask you, Lord, that you're knowing the word he brings,
-
that if you come with life, life abandonedly, that you will come with
-
supernatural grace, extraordinary grace to pick us from where we are to where you
-
want us to go. In Jesus' name. Amen, Yeah, sure,
-
like turns out for small people. I'm not here today, so I'm standing
-
the app Let's pray well this bit. We do welcome you this morning.
-
We thank you. This is the day that you've made and we will rejoice
-
from brand nick nud. Please open our hearts to receive the word you've got
-
for us this morning. We can build on precept upon precept. Lord,
-
in Jesus name, May this'll be a fresher for people and a new manner
-
for those who haven't heard it before. In Jesus name, So this morning
-
we're finishing off the that's not finishing off day. We're on the series.
-
Our work changes everything, And I've tweaked the title to say one work from
-
God can change your life forever, because I do believe that one work from
-
God can't change your life forever. Do you believe that good that helped me
-
out of the preach? You know, words are containers. They carry something,
-
lessens that's what's left in my bottle of water. That's transparent, you
-
can see through it, but it could be any color, any liquid,
-
and words have different colors. There's words that lift up, there's words that
-
put down. I'm sorry if somebody's said to you, thank you very much,
-
or some sort of sect or something like why did you do that?
-
You're no good? You know that's not true. Everyone has a value for
-
God. But words are containers. They carry something, And today I want
-
to talk about one work from God can change your life forever. So God's
-
words are positive. God's words are affirming. God's words may say I don't
-
need to do that. However, it won't be said in a way that
-
doesn't lift you up or build you up, because that's not a bit of
-
God's in. God is a builder. He builds people from the inside out
-
anyway. So what I want to share you is how God speaks to us.
-
God wants to encourage us to hear from Heaven for ourselves. Okay,
-
now, God can give us a word which is directive, a word that
-
guides us. It can be a confirming word, a word that verifies a
-
situation or a circumstance. It could be an affirming word where God encourages us
-
to do something for example. One thing thing is for sure that when God
-
speaks to us, we will know that He's spoken to us by his by
-
His Holy Spirit, who dwells within us. When we're born again, we
-
receive the Holy Spirit. I want to see the bats and of the Holy
-
Spirit, as the Holy Spirit is our connection with God. So when we
-
when we hear something, it resonates with our spirit. It doesn't resonate your
-
spirit. You've had too much cheese or whatever, but you know, ignore
-
it. H And today I want to talk about the still small voice.
-
Generally speaking, when God speaks to us, it's things like don't fear,
-
don't worry, don't be anxious, because generally speaking, it's a propensity to
-
fear, to be worry, to be anxious in the flesh. He wants
-
us. The people who walk in the spirit, like Juliet pres say not
-
anxious, we don't worry, we don't fear. And it's a journey from
-
where we begin to where we are, where we're not worrying, we're not
-
fearing, and that journey starts with God's word. One work from God can
-
change your life forever. When he says don't fear, that's the start.
-
But yet there's something that we have to do to make that work for us.
-
When it says trust me, we hear that word, that's something we've
-
got to do if all that work becomes a reality in our lives. Although
-
it's God's word, we need to activate it. Otherwise, it is a
-
word, and it's good, and it's there. Unless we activate it,
-
it still is the word. We have to receive it. We need to
-
put it into action. The Bible says faith without works, he is dead.
-
There's a scripture New Testament. I've got my phone which is called the
-
Weymouth New Testament, and James two and verse eighteen says that's the nivy.
-
Some will say you have faith, I have actions. Prove to me your
-
faith apart from corresponding actions, and I'll prove mine to you by my actions.
-
I didn't like that, you know, the corresponding faith and actions,
-
because I want to talk about actions today. I didn't want to talk about
-
being passive. You know, we are not called to be passive, to
-
sit there like a bump on the log. Were called to be advancing,
-
progressing, taking what the devil has stolen, progressing the Kingdom of God in
-
our generation. And you don't do that by sitting. You do that by
-
moving. So that's why I like this scripture. You have faith, I
-
have actions. Prove to me your faith apart from corresproractions, and I'll prove
-
mine to your actions. Other words, faith is the fact, but faith
-
is an act. Summarizing that We've got to activate. We got to move
-
with the word of God. So when the word of God says peace,
-
I leave with you my peace I gift to you. Do not let your
-
heart be troubled, and you let it be afraid. Stop on myself to
-
be agitated and disturbed. Don't permit yourself to be fearful, intimidating, canabis
-
and settled. Then we need to activate that. So we need to choose
-
to activate our faith, otherwise we get to have a roller coaster existence.
-
We just came back from Denmark. It's a place called of course typically I
-
think it was, is that right on here? Typically? Yeah, anyway,
-
this second oldest theme park who we went went to one and I don't
-
do theme parks, but my wife on the one ground the theme park and
-
there's lots of trees and all that sort of stuff. But there's some of
-
these weird rides where people go up and they scream when they get to the
-
top and then it drops and they think it's fun. Doesn't get doesn't It
-
doesn't do it for me, but you know, but the roller coaster is
-
sometimes the Christian roller coaster where we check check them down then up, and
-
then down then up. And God doesn't want to live as a rock roller
-
coaster existence. He wants us to be living and walking in the spirit.
-
And things may move up and things may move down, but we walk constantly
-
in the spirit. He wants to take each step out of time and each
-
step is a miracle. Why because we serve a miracle working God. Yeah,
-
he split the red sea, he heals the sick, he raised the
-
dead, He raises the dead. Nothing is impossible for God. So don't
-
get your list out of your backpop and go, except here's my list of
-
ten things nothing impossible for God. Whatever circumstances we are facing, nothing is
-
impossible because one work from God can change our life forever. Doesn't matter the
-
size of the issue, right doesn't matter about the size of the issue anyway.
-
So when you hear something from God, like John fourteen twenty seven,
-
hear him speak it. Write it down, put a date next to it,
-
underline it in your Bible you want to do, write it out,
-
commit it to memory, keep thinking about it, speak it out of your
-
mouth. Because God's word carries power, keepers four verse twelve of you.
-
It carries power. So God wants to encourage us to engage with him.
-
It's not like, oh, thank you for the world God, that's very
-
nice. Then go off and just live in fear and worry or anxiety.
-
You must go thank you for the word, and let's apply it. You
-
know, when we're a child or a child, God dissed things for us
-
and it was like done and dusted. When we're getting bigger, you know,
-
we've got a man up or woman up, and get on with it.
-
So he takes as a step of the time. You don't just get
-
your kid. And as youngsters say, o, if you go and the
-
wobble around and fall over, you know you hold the hands that they develop,
-
and God develops us. And we're all in different places today and Go
-
wants to develop us. I understand it. Harviest word. So this is
-
foundation stuff I'm just talking about now, which fagil. Yeah, I get
-
that. That's good. But let God build on what you know. If
-
it is new to you, let God build on that. He wants to
-
build each individual person that appear and listen to the live stream. Wants to
-
build us up so it can bigger on the inside than we are on the
-
outside, so we can do above and beyond anything. Yeah, it's a
-
bit overcomers. Yeah. This is about preparation. This is about practice.
-
This is about doing and walking in God's miracle power. This is about doing
-
the impossible. Yeah, don't let that frighten you. Don't that's scare you
-
because that's where God lives and that's where he wants us to live. Doubts
-
now, so write it down, speak it out over yourselves, memorize it,
-
declare it. For instance, a typical thing you means to people thought
-
usually is fear two tenthy one seven steps. For God, they given us
-
a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power love, sound mind.
-
Yeah, So when people meditate on that word and speak it of their circumstances,
-
things change. God moves them an incremental step at a time, not
-
all at once, but an incommended step of the time. So when they
-
get attacked with a fearful, fearful thought, they can use the word of
-
God. And the more they use it, the stronger they get. I've
-
seen that happen in people's lives, whether they take the wha they go and
-
build on that as an example. Like I said before, it's one thing
-
to know the word of God. It's another thing to receive it and to
-
apply it and sit in action in your life. Then give a testimony about
-
what God has done for you. Very often we live in our own world
-
where we don't deal with these situations in circums and just try to put a
-
stick in places when it can get by. But God wants us to be
-
overcome us in every area, which is tough because we've got to do something.
-
Yeah, you gotta get you go on with it. You can't just
-
sit there. Sometimes God will give somebody a word for us, which is
-
cool, and you get a little note or you get a text or a
-
WhatsApp and it says think of you today, gotta share this with shared this
-
with me for you, and that jumps off the screen or jumps off the
-
card. If some people do cards, aren't they? It seems to be
-
a dying art nowadays. Cards Now it's all chat, snapchat whatever or Dave's
-
World. But it speaks to us, isn't it. It speaks into our
-
situation and that's good and that's positive, and that build us up. But
-
God wants to stretch as well. Away we hear from God every day.
-
That's the best possum to be. Words from friends and family are great because
-
that means they're praying for us, they're believe with us, which is good.
-
But when we're on our own at work or wherever we are, and
-
something happens, we've got to be able to deal with it. Yeah,
-
be about to get on with it because they aren't there. Yeah. So
-
let's look at Exus fourteen thirty twenty two. I'm reading from the amplified version.
-
Am I going to look? We got spoke to on what that effect
-
was, and I'm going to apply that to our lives. Okay, So
-
I'm reading from the ampithied classic version. It might be different to this on
-
the screen. So I'm reading about when Moses split the Red Sea. You
-
let's talk about rods. Has had a rod in his hand. So the
-
backstop of this story is they left Egypt, they got to near the right
-
sea. Pharaoh decides he's going to get up and go for it. In
-
Texts Texas six hundred and twenty odd chariots my brayers and pursues the tune of
-
Israel. And so they got the Egyptian army coming towards them, we got
-
the sea behind them. There's no ohing to go but God. So reading
-
from verse four thirteen, Moses told the people fear not, stand still,
-
firm, confidence and dismayed, and see the salvation of the Lord, which
-
you will work for you today. For the Egyptians you have seen today,
-
you shall never see again. The will thoughd like for you, and you
-
shall hold your peace and remain at rest. The Lord said to Moses,
-
why do you cry out to me all the people of Israel, to go
-
forward, Lift up your rod and stretch out your hand over the sea and
-
divide it. And the Israelites shall go over on dry ground through the midst
-
of the sea. And I behold, I will harden, make stubborn and
-
stronger the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall go into the sea after
-
them. And I will gain honor over Pharaoh and all his hosts, his
-
chariots, and horsemen. The Egyptians shall know and realize that I am the
-
Lord. When I've gained honor and glory over Pharaoh, his charge, and
-
his horsemen. The Angel of the God, who went before the hosts of
-
Israel, moved and went behind them, and the pillar of cloud went before
-
them and stood behind them that went before and stood behind them. Coming between
-
the hosts of Egypt and the host of Israel, it was a cloud and
-
darkness to the Egyptians, but he gave light by night to the Israelites,
-
and the one host did not come near the other all night. Then Moses
-
stretched out his hand over the sea, and the Lot caused the sea to
-
go back by a strong east wind all that night and made the sea dry
-
land. And the water was divided, and these lights went into the midst
-
of the sea on dry ground, the water's being a wall to them on
-
the right and on the left. Notice, God said to Moses, don't
-
look at me, mate, stretch out your rod and divide the water.
-
When we get to certain maturity, don't look at me, use my word.
-
You get on with it. And we need to be ready to do
-
that. I'll go, Oh, mir room, pastor Dave, let merry
-
and my friends. You know we need to be there. Yeah. God
-
wants us to be in that place. So what did old Moses do?
-
He stretched out his rod and the water's parted. I've never seen that.
-
Yeah, but a wall of water to the right and a wall of water
-
to the left, and then dry ground. Now that was God's spoken word
-
to Moses. We have God's written word in our hands or in our phones.
-
Yeah. God's word carries that power to change things. Yeah. And
-
God speaks that word to us, to you and to me. And that's
-
big in my thinking. That should be big in your thinking. It's not
-
just words on the page. I look at my sell wing hughes every day
-
with jeez, every morning. It's the word of the living God. I'm
-
going to speak that word to you and to me and to you in the
-
life streage of you living later. You wants top that word to you.
-
It's important to get this understanding. It's not words on a page. It's
-
living, it's alive. It is powerful. What does people thought walking with
-
a wall of water to one side, whether they could see the fish or
-
that. I don't know if I thought about that. A wall of water
-
dry ground, fish here, fish there, nose and they're walking through that
-
with their all their prolong is and their kids and what not. It wasn't
-
like a two minute walk. It's a bit of a across a bet sea.
-
But noticed Moses a bade and the actor to remember faith as a fact
-
and faith as an act. So we need to be doing that. And
-
then when she has walked on the water. Matthew fourteen, he was all
-
night prayed, didn't he? He fed the five thousand, then he sent
-
the boys away in the boat. He went up to pray. I think
-
it says in one of the versions that he was between about about the fourth
-
watch of the night, which was about between three and six in the morning.
-
He decided to get up and walk on the water. Forget that the
-
water was chopping. So we got he walked on the water. Noticed it
-
wasn't easy to work on the wall for Jesus, but you just go on
-
with it. That's what we we need to do. Let's read Matthew fourteen
-
twenty five through thirty one. Now about the fourth watch the night, which
-
is about between three and six of the morning, Jesus went to them walking
-
on the sea. And when the disciples saw him walk into the sea,
-
they were troubled, saying it's a ghost. And they cried out in fear.
-
These are some tough fishermen. But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying,
-
be of good cheer it is I. Do not be afraid. And
-
Peter answered and said to him, Lord, if it's you, command me
-
to come to you on the water, So he said, can and Peter,
-
when it come down out of the boat, he walked on the water
-
to go to Jesus. When he saw the wind was boisterous. Who was
-
afraid and beginning to sink. He cried out, saying, Lord, save
-
me. And immediate Jesus stretched out his hand and caught him and said to
-
him, oh, you a little faith, Why did you doubt? Notice?
-
Peter said to Jesus, Lord, if it's you command me to come
-
to you. Jesus said, come figure out, and walked on the water.
-
When we walk by faith, it's just like walking on the water.
-
It's doing the impossible, otherwise it won't be walking by faith. Right.
-
Yeah, Yeah, I can pad around this room and you know, no
-
problem, you know, but I've got to believe God for something. I've
-
got to use my faith, and we'll use our faith. It's just for
-
us thing to think something that. You know, we can't do it by
-
ourselves, so why do we try. So let's have a reset and think
-
and recognize and understand that we cannot do things in our own strength. That's
-
why His spirit lives within us. So let's not circumvent God's plan. Let's
-
apply God's word and let's live the life of faith. Let's walk on water
-
every day and do the impossible. Where it's a job. We're looking for
-
a family, a relationship to fix. We're looking for finances to build a
-
ministry, finances to build an orphanage, finance to build whatever well a God's
-
put on our heart to do. God gives us dreams which are impossible,
-
and then says, go and do it. And many people don't do it
-
because they don't do it by faith. They don't take the word of God
-
and apply it. That's what Jesus did, and that's what he wants us
-
to do. But that's what this is. This preach is about today.
-
It's a boy encouraging us to stretch to the next level where we are.
-
We're all in different places many yeah, no does a carbon copy. Jesus
-
do carbon copies. We're all individuals and we walk in the relation that God
-
has given us. We get some more revelation, walk in that revelation.
-
If haven't got any revelation, will start, write it down, pray over
-
it, move forward. That's what he wants us to do. This is
-
something. This is in some respects foundational respe respects. It stretches where you
-
want to be. And you can get as much out of this word you
-
want to get out this worth this morning. Yeah, you can get this
-
much, you can get that much. It's entirely up to you. You
-
need to stretch your faith to receive what God is saying today. I'm just
-
here as a mouthpiece to give what God gave me in Copenhagen, I sat
-
on the beds. Some other examples in the work today where people who believe
-
God changed their lives. Judge just six. We it's about Gideon. It
-
was not old really, so the backstory there is is that there is lights
-
have done their own thing again and served other God and think it's bar this
-
time. And then obviously got to put them under the and they're under subjection
-
to the midday knights and the midnights to steal their food. It was a
-
bit of a tough time for them because they choose to turn their back on
-
God. I think it was for seven years. I think it put into
-
their hands seven years. And so every time they grow their coat, they
-
can and take their crop. So they were stuffed. So they started using
-
wine presses to hide the grains as a treading out of their break. And
-
we pick up the story of giving the Gideon who's in the wine press doing
-
this stuff, and the Angel of the Lord says to him verse twelve of
-
just six, the Lord is with you, you, mighty man of valor.
-
He's going, the Lord is with me, a mighty man of valor.
-
God is calling those things that are not as though they were. He
-
was saying to this gentleman, you're a mighty man of valor. He's hiding
-
the wine press, sorting out the grain. Sometimes God will speak to and
-
said, you're a mighty man of valor. He called those things not as
-
though they were. It's so to us to take that word, to write
-
it out, to talk it over our lives, and to believe God to
-
do that, to bring us to that place where we are that person,
-
so we can do what we need to do. Not to go that's nice.
-
I'll make an actress and my bile and leave it there. Yeah,
-
we need to be always advancing, always progressing in the Kingdom of God.
-
Without advance, we stand in still stand is till you're going backwards. You
-
know. Gideon in that in that discourse spoke the problem when he was a
-
solution, but the Lord didn't respond to that. God doesn't respond to our
-
problems by going, yeah, I agree with you, mate. Whatever the
-
world words want to use doesn't say oh yeah. He only speaks words of
-
faith. So verse six June just six, verse fourteen, he said,
-
go in this might of yours and you should save Israel from the Midian?
-
Have I not sent you so? After Gideon's unbelief, God just reiterated what
-
he said, go. So, don't come to God with a long list
-
of what you can't do along the problems. Come to God, expect him
-
to give you a solution and then expect you to apply your faith to get
-
to the answer. That means we've got to do something proactive, which is
-
something we don't like. To Dodoma speaking, we like to be fed.
-
So get him prepared an offering to the Lord and began to follow his instructions.
-
He tore down the bar alter and he started to obey God. In
-
Judges six thirty four, I swech a lord came upon with him. Yeah,
-
but the straight of the Lord came upon Gideon. Then he blew the
-
trumpet, and the abas rights gather behind him. We know the rest else
-
gathered behind him, and they routed the Midian Nights because the spirit of God
-
was upon him. I think at one point that they had a big army
-
said no, no, no, let's go down to three hundred men,
-
and they said, okay, get your get your get your it's like,
-
get your tortures basically with your weapony hand and then then shout for the Lord.
-
So God is going to let men take the victory. Three hundred men
-
with a torch in the hand of the sword and the hand going to fight
-
with the torch and the sword and then shout for Lord and God, and
-
then he routed them. They killed themselves and they were away. God will
-
fight for us, but we've got to take a step of faith. We've
-
got to activate our faith. It doesn't matter how big our challenges may appear.
-
Like Juliette said earlier, God's plan is that when we obey his word,
-
we will overcome. It might there might be some progression time before we
-
actually get to the where we need to be. It's not like become an
-
instantaneous message sometimes, because sometimes it's a bit of prolongation before you get to
-
where you need to be. That's where patience comes in. Not to jacket
-
and no, it didn't work. It does work. It's got to keep
-
on with it. We must not look at our circumstances rather than as look
-
at the bigness of our God. Our sur those are only hindrances to see
-
things from God's perspective. One of my prayers sometimes is shown me, youths,
-
from your perspective, Please not from my perspective. So let's use the
-
word of God. Let's apply the word of God. M don't be like
-
Gideon. Took a long time for God to get through to Gideon. You
-
know he we have the spirit of God within us, who's talk to us
-
every day all the time. Sometimes don't do that, don't do that,
-
but you know he always speaks to us. So let's look at Elijah one
-
King seventeen. So Elijah the tish bite. I'm not sure what a tish
-
bite is, but he's a tish bite. In the contact of Elijah one
-
King one seventeen is they have worship bar the rain God, and his mississ
-
was a lady called Jezebel. She was a nice lady. Ah there was
-
a yes and no man. So Elijah in One King seventeen finds they have
-
and he says, as the Lord God e Israel lives before might stand,
-
there shall not be duee no ray these years except by my word, as
-
a Lord the e Israel lives before whom I start. There shall not be
-
jew nor rain these years except what my word. That's one King to one
-
seventeen. Notice before he was nice guy, He's study in the presence of
-
God. He knew the presence of God. It was a prophet. So
-
he gave his word, it's not in the rain for three years. And
-
then God said to him Verse two through four of One King seventeen. Get
-
away from here and turn eastward and hide out of the brook Sheriiff, which
-
flows into the Jordan. And it will be and it will be that you
-
shall drink from the brook. And I commanded the ravens to feed you there.
-
So droughts come in by a brook and wait for some burds to feed
-
him. Sometimes, because I should do the important simple, go and do
-
that. But you've got up and walk to the brook and then sat down
-
and think, okay, it's time for my dinner. Where the ravens please?
-
Or would you thought that's still I'm not going to do that. Sometimes
-
God has to do things which aren't sensible in our own thinking. That's when
-
we need to know the voice of God. Yeah, don't be flakey.
-
Don't go and do something like step back in front of the car because think
-
God's at that. No, no, the voice of God. No,
-
the voice of God. But he obeyed God without hesitation. Forget this.
-
The brook dried up. He prophesied that's going to be drought. So the
-
brook dried up. So he sat there. The brook dried up. So
-
he's got to get up and go somewhere else. But you listen to God
-
one King seventeen eight through nine. The word Lord came to him saying,
-
Arise, go to Zarah Fath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there.
-
See I've commanded a widow there to write for you too, Rose and
-
went to Zarapeth. A widow is going to provide for him. Again,
-
God does things differently to we. We doing something. A widow means she's
-
got no enter the income. You know, where's she going to get some
-
some vision from? But God, h but God, so don't look at
-
your circumstances. Look at the bigness of your God. For surfa, God
-
can be hindrances. Yeah, Elijah got on with it. He went to
-
Zara faith without hesitation. If remember the story, she was gathering some sticks
-
to make a last meal for her in the sun and she's going to die.
-
So what did he say to her? Bring me some water. It's
-
been a famine. Bring me some water. She bring some water and then
-
made me a cake. She got some old rancid oil, She got some
-
old rancid meal. And how that was, I don't know. Make me
-
a bit of your cake before you make your cake. Notice she didn't say
-
no. She got on with it. She obeyed what God had said,
-
look after this man? What did God do? That jar of oil was
-
never empty, that bag of grain was never empty for that period of time,
-
and then during that time she raised He raised his boy from the dead.
-
God works miracles right. Sometimes it might not look like it's the way
-
to go, But God's way is the way we need to walk. So
-
we need to understand this is the way. You walk in it and listen
-
to him. But it all starts with the word. Then we have to
-
apply that word. You know, we've all been given the measure of faith.
-
Roman's twelve anverse three says, through the grace given to me, to
-
everyone who is among you, not to think itself more higher than they ought
-
to think. This is poor speaking, but to think soberly as God has
-
doubt, to each one a measure of faith. So God projects a measure
-
of faith, you know, all of us. Then we need to activate
-
that firth faith faith. That's why I say faith is a fact faith and
-
actually got to put into action. When God speaks into our lives through the
-
written word, we need to activate that word. I meditating it by speaking
-
it out and by believing it, by putting into action. Like I said,
-
it took a long time before Gideon was convinced to act. And the
-
look what God did quade Elijah. What more of a relationship with God he
-
was in his presence? He acted more quickly that was under the old covenant.
-
You know the Bible's two books, the Old Covenant and the New Covenant.
-
We have a new covenant with better promises. The Bible says, bit
-
of God now dwells within us, not upon us. Hebrews eight and verse
-
six says, but now he has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as
-
says he also a mediate of a better covenant. This is speaking of Jesus,
-
which was established on better promises. Jus cutting your covenant in his body
-
and his blood. Covenants made through bread, which is broken. Jesus body
-
was broken. It's made through shed blood. He could have covenant with the
-
Father. So now they can break that covenant. They are going to mess
-
up. So we have access to better promises than the old covenant. One
-
Printin's three of Us sixteen says, do you not know that you're a temple
-
of God and that the faith of God dwell in you? So We're in
-
different position to Elijah. The spirit of God dwells in us. So how
-
much more should we be able to walk in faith? How much more should
-
be able to see the miracules in their everyday lies because of the relationship that
-
we have. So where from where we are we need to stretch to where
-
we need to be. Yeah, this is not about although of God,
-
I'm not there. Well, that's not a problem. It's good to recognize
-
where we are. But we need to stretch to where God wants us to
-
be. We need to take the word of God and the blight starting in
-
every day of our lives. Every day of our lives. That might be
-
to overcome fear. That might be to overcome worry, that might be to
-
overcome down. That might be about food on your table, that might see
-
a pair of shoes. We all start in different places. The thing is
-
to start and to move. You know, Jesus is the author and the
-
finisher of our faith, and so we're just sort of rat This preacher Freed
-
and John at eleven. It's the Count of Lazarus and how Jesus raised him
-
from the dead. Jesus knew that Juan Lazarus. He also knew his sisters
-
Martha and Mary. They lived in Bethany, and Dass was sick. And
-
then Lazarus died, and Jesus hung out for another two or three days.
-
For he left to go to Bethany because that's the Holy Spirit asked him to
-
do. And then when he got up there, they said, oh,
-
you know, come earlier. If you come earlier, Jesus, and be
-
all right mate. When he died, even Martha didn't the time, they
-
said in the Resurrection of the life, and they said to her, move
-
the tomb. Move the stone to the tomb. She's going, Jesus,
-
it's been dead four days. He's going to smell. It's going to smell.
-
Jesus said, move the stone. Sometimes you go to Jesus, Hey,
-
Jesus, this is there is a two bigger problem for you. You
-
know it's been four days. Now, man, what we're going to do?
-
Move the stone. We can't move the stone, Jesus. And then
-
Jesus moved the stone. Move the stone. Verse thirty eight through forty four
-
says Then Jesus, again, groaning in himself, came to the tomb.
-
It was a cave and the stoneway against it. Jesus said, take away
-
the stone. Martha said, Martha, the sists of him who was dead
-
to him. Lord, by this time, there's a stench. The king
-
James says, it stinkers that better. He said, he's been he's been
-
dead for four days. Jesus said to her, didn't not say to you
-
that if you would believe, you would see the glory of God. If
-
we would believe, we need to believe God's word. We need to activate
-
God's word. Not look our circumstances. He's been dead four days us as
-
he stinks. Don't look at your circumstances. When God is speaking to you,
-
don't look at your circumstances. Look at him. Then he took away
-
the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lift
-
up his eyes and said, Father, thank you that you've heard me.
-
And I know that you always hear me. But because of the people who
-
as done by, I said this that I may believe that you sent me.
-
And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud
-
voice, Lazarus come forth. And he who had died came out bound hand
-
and foot, with the grave clothes, and his faith backed in a cloth.
-
It's like a napkin around the head. And Jesus said, loose him
-
and let him go. You know, God wants to lose us and let
-
us go from some things today, right, But we need to look at
-
not look at ourselves up look at the bigness of our God. Jesus obey
-
God, who was not moved by what people said. We need to obey
-
God and not be moved by what people say. As God raised Jesus from
-
the dead, he can work in our lives through his resurrection power. You
-
know, it's my body, but it's his life. The life inside this
-
lump of flesh is God's life. If I drop down dead, my spirit
-
was to be alive and that's what goes to heaven. But we carry it.
-
Each one of us carries that heavenly treasure in these earthly bodies. But
-
we need to believe and apply His word in our lives every day, every
-
day. So let's just wrat this up with a prayer and the over well,
-
Lord, I pray that your word and not return to your void.
-
But it will come if that we should please and prosper the thing right here
-
sent it in Jesus name, pray. Speak to every people, every person,
-
every person in this room, every person on the live stream, every
-
person later, Lord in Jersney. But it's checking from where they are to
-
where they need to be. This happened to walk by faith. I know
-
you're going to do it for them, God, but you're going to help
-
them. It's happened to do the miraculous, to overcome by the below lamb
-
and by the word of their testiny, by the word of God. I
-
pray for miracles, Lord in Jersney, as people to apply your word in
-
the name of Jesus. Remember h
