H hallelujah.

Oh man, that worship just took me off, and all

that I had on my mind right now is just

gone to say. All right, okay, so today we get

into our topic. Before we get into a topic, knowing

God through Okay, that means you can see the screen. Okay,

that's a good check.

All right.

So we're going to play a game before that. Okay,

so this is gonna be Team A and Team B,

don't you know? So you say, you're very clear, this

is Team A, all a ce Team A and Team B. Right,

So it's an easy, very easy game. This is something

that can would would have you guys, would have played

it before in some other format. But this is a

very simple game of guessing the song, all right. All right,

So you're going to see uh lyrics, part of the lyrics,

and you need to guess the song. So whichever team

the lyrics would be shown first to Team ME and

then to Team B. If you know the song, you

need to shout it out, all right, and if you

don't know, it's going to be passed on to the

Yeah right, okay, you know it's it's not that I

know these songs. I just googled up in the night

last night, and that's how I know exactly who sang

it and what was the no name of the song. Well,

that's so both of the teams did really well. The

stars of the day is Jill and Debbie and Nikki.

Wow.

Good, good, one good one good. Okay. It's so interesting

when you listen to a song. I don't know about you,

but whenever I listen to a song, a particular event

or an emotion is evoked in my mind. You know, example, happy,

you know, even though the most of us may not

may never even remember the exact lyrics of that song,

but when you play that song, you kind of automatically

get happy.

Right.

There's those small, bodily micro moments if you're in workplace

and if you're on the road, you're just going all

over you know. I don't care who sees me, you know,

I just want to be happy because I have a

painful situation at worker at home okay, or a grumpy husband,

you know, either one. So every song there's an emotional response,

not just an auditory response, not just singing the song,

but there's an emotion to that song. That's something I

wanted everybody to understand. And that's why I wanted some

songs that are very famous to be brought upon.

I'm sure.

When Jill thought about those songs, Jill was thinking about

her teenagers and how fancy that was compared to the

current age.

But yeah, so.

Let's start looking at some ninety five please, all right,

let me read the verse, first verse pal a call

to worship and obedience. Oh come, let us sing to

the Lord. Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of

us salvation. Very complicated terms there, especially that word shout

that has come before his presence with thanksgiving. Let us

shout joyfully to him with psalms. All Right, today we're

going to look at what worship is, not according to you,

not according to me, not according to evangelical services, not

according to any established religion, but according to the Word

of God. Because that's our standard. Let's let's let's take

an agreement on that. Right, you and me agree on

one thing, and that's the Word of God. You don't

disagree with, not that we may disagree about the spice

level that we eat, but were not the word of God. Right,

So let's keep that as a standard, and let's see

what God calls as worship.

Right.

I can come up with my own definition, and you

don't have to agree to it. But let's see what God,

God expects us worship, because end of the day, you're

not worshiping a person, you're not worshiping an established religion.

You're worshiping the Living God.

Amen. All right.

So in Psalm ninety five, it starts with come before

his presence.

Let's stop there, Come before his presence. Amen.

Jesus says, when two or three gather, what does it complete?

What did he say, when two or three gather? I

will not be there. Oh, I think that's the truth.

He will not be there. He will be there, Amen,

he will be there. So when you come together with

another believer, the presence of the Lord is already there.

He's there, and so it is important that we gather twogether.

It's very important because when you are alone, that's the

right environment for the devil to play around with you.

But when you are in the presence of another believer

and you agree upon what the Word says about your life,

the devil can't come there. You know why not, Because

you're such a strong believer. You got it all right. No,

because the Lord, who is your shepherd, he is there.

Because that's his promise. He will be there. Let's come

with him. Let's come before him with thanksgiving. Let us

shout joyfully to him with sums, nothing but songs. Right,

letter's shout is a very difficult terminologies. I will demonstrate

you what that shout means so that you can then

reciprocate or do. Shout is a very technically complex process

wherein we need to draw the breadth from our lungs

and then send it out from our mouth.

Right, So it's like this, hallelujah. Okay, I know it's

very complicated.

But hallelujah. You don't have to be an a minor

C sharp minor F sharp minor. No, you don't have

to be in.

A particular God. All you've got to know.

All you've got to do is shout or the other

example would be, you know, when you I don't know

if anyone of y'all get angry because you all don't

look like that.

I look like one. You know what?

You Usually when normal people get angry, especially somebody close,

they usually yell.

An if you all know what's yelling means a loud.

Voice talking a loud voice, right, But that that shows

that we all have the capacity to increase our volume.

But we don't, you know, when you know, I'm yet

to see maybe I would see soon, but yet to

see a stadium full of quiet people, dignified people who

are just watching Liverpool and Chelsea playing. Yes, let's go

there and the ball, okay, pass it on, oh hit

the goal, yeah, go go go.

No.

Have you have you seen any match when people are

just standing there and their eyeballs are going that's it.

Nothing has no other parts of the body. In a stadium,

everybody is going bonkers. You know why, because they're celebrating,

you're cheering. That is what means. Come, come joyfully, shout.

Have you seen kids when they're joyful? They don't care

what you think about them. They're gonna dance about, you know,

sing loudly, you know, dance on the roads. Also, that

is so important. God looks, you know, God says, Jesus says,

unless you come to me as a child, you cannot

even get into the Kingdom of God. You know, not

understand these things. Man unfortunately, has a lot of pride.

You know, no matter how humble you think you are,

your body gives away. You can think a lot, but

your body language clearly gives it away. What we really think.

That's why body clues up much more.

Than what you say. Amen.

Number one thing is when you are excited about something,

it shows on your face. Imagine I'm going to say this.

You know tomorrow Rob is going to get one million pounds.

I'm sure Rob is going to just sit there. Ah, yes,

thank you. No, I would be excited, right, I'll be

excited because I'm already planning what I'm going to do

with that one million. Right, that is somehow missing in church.

And I'll tell you why I'm missing in church, because

that's the lie of the enemy. Because the whole point

of all this is the enemy that let me be

very specific, the devil wants you, wants to keep you

from enjoying God's worship because he knows certain things that

you don't know, or he wants to keep you ignorant

about it. And man, I want to just jump into

the next verse, Jonathan, Yeah, for the Lord is great

and great, and the great King above all gods will

come back to this verse. Next verse, please, yeah, the

next Psalm hundred. I think, Yeah, what happens when we

give thanksgiving and what happens when we do praise, when

we tell when we come in first of all when

we come together and we start saying thank you Lord

for everything that you are to me. You have just

entered his gates. You know you need to picture this.

There's a big palace right and you've just gotten to

the gates. I know I'm asking you to imagine. But

in a spiritual dimension it is. It's a reality, just

like you walked into this door. Is when you start

thanking God, you enter his courtes. You enter his gates,

and when you praise God for who he is, you

enter his courts. I'm sure all of you know what

a court means. Not the lawyer of that court, the

judge and lawyer, not that the court of a king.

You can never walk into the courts of a king,

just like that, unless the king calls you, unless he

gives you the audience. I know, I can't read a

book an appointment with King Charles and say hey, buddy,

I want to come and meet you. It will not happen, right,

I just can't. What's happened and just meet him up.

It's not going to happen. The gods are going to

be stop me. Outside itself. But when you have the

right procedure of how you do things, you will get

the result. It's like telling you know, I can't bake

a cake with rice, can I No? Right, you need

certain ingredients and a step by step process. Then you

get a beautiful cake. Otherwise you will get something else.

So when you come into the presence of God, first

and foremost, God loves a thankful heart. He doesn't like

grumbling people, which I'm guilty of a lot, you know,

but he doesn't like grumbling people. Give him thanks, enter

his court with praise. Next worst place. Yeah, therefore God

has been highly exalted him. Okay, I'll come back to

this the previous worst place. We can do these two

things only if God is our king. That's a very

crucial thing. We may not feel like giving thanks or

telling God's okay, praise the Lord for every single thing

and all that you can do it. When God is

your king. You will never see suppose we were living

in kings at the times of the kings, right, you

will never see another countries, the citizen of another country

coming and praising this king. The citizen of that country

will always praise the king there. His lives depend on that,

because that king directly or indirectly supports his life. Literally

his life is in the hands of the King. I'm

sure you guys know it much better because you've had

you still have a kingdom, format still existence. If our

lives do not belong to the King Jesus, we wouldn't praise.

We will struggle with it.

Our praise will be depending on every single day, like

the weather.

Today, I'm having a good day.

Praise Jesus. Brother, I love Jesus so much. Your house

is in a terrible mess. You're sick with something, not

going to praise God? Why did he give me sickness?

Why did he give me that? Why did he give

me this? We just complain. We don't praise God for that,

and that's that's not that's not telling that God's.

The king of your life.

You know, I think it was yesterday my son was saying,

you know, actions speak louder than words, and it's so true.

We can tell one hundred things about God and claim

all sort of claims, but.

End of the day, what is our action talking?

Is our action saying that no matter what my situation is,

no matter what I'm going through, I am still going

to praise God because he is God, he is King.

That's not changed my situation. Yes, it's not changed, but

God's not dependent on your pray. Issuldn't should never be

dependent on your situation. It is dependent only on God.

Amen.

Come to that next verse, John, Yeah, this is in

Philippians Philippians Tandards chapter two. Therefore this is what the

Lord is saying. Therefore, God has exalted him, highly exalted him,

and given him the name which is above every name.

Next word is please at that name of Jesus, every

knee should bow, of those in heaven, of those on earth,

and of those under the earth, that every tongue shall

confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of

God the Father. If you look at the previous verse,

verse ten, it says every knee should bow, not only

in heaven, on earth and under earth. Maybe somebody I'll

speak on that under the earth. But if you see

at the name of Jesus everything bows, and the next

verse eleven, that's the crucial one. Every tongue that confesses

Jesus Christ is Lord. You know, if you remember how

you got saved, it's Romans ten, verse nine. Right, you

are saved when you confess Jesus is Lord. So if

we really have that surrender of giving our lives to God.

That mean we will bow down. Because worship often has

a bodily expression. You cannot separate worship from bodily expression, definitely.

You know. I love one thing about back in India

about Catholic churches. You know they all have these what

do they call it. It's like a small pedestal where

you sit where you actually can kneel down, you know,

when you pray, and that is a support for the handles.

I used to love that when I used to go

to college and I used to spend my first fifteen

twenty minutes in a chapel close to my college and

then go and people to People used to think I'm Catholic,

but I was not. So that's a good set up here.

The idea and the intention is very very good. Where

you kneel before God's presence. And what used to amaze

me was, you know, people who are really old used

to be there kneeling and I used to kneel for

ten fifteen minutes. I'm like, for today, this is enough. Lord,

I have knelt enough for today. My knees are hurting.

Can I go?

I had all sort of funny conversation with the Lord,

you know. But I used to be like, how in

the world do these people need for half an hour?

I don't get this. But you see, when it's an

expression of service to God, expression of your heart, then

you're no longer bound by the pain or what you

can do what you can't do. But what I'm trying

to say is, either you can bow, you know, a

simple thing. You can bow your head. You know, when

we pray, if you bow your head, that's a mark

of surrender, humility, humbling yourself, you know, bow your head

when you pray. You know, sometimes you may think, okay,

I'm praying. If I have to pray over my food

at my workplace, what will others think? So you don't

want to bow your head? You just oh Jesus, yes, yes, yes,

that's it. Sometimes people have asked me, you know, when

at my workplace, when I'm bowing my head and praying

over my foot, they think I've lost something down, you know,

something fell down, you know. And I've given funny responses

to that too. But yeah, but people can ask you

all sorts of questions.

But it's not for the people that I'm doing.

I'm doing it anyway for the Lord who's twenty four

bar seven with me, And that's the reality I live in.

It's all a question of what is the reality that

you live in. You want to live in a reality

that the devil is built up around you in your

mind saying you're all alone, nothing's going to work, You're

going to dialight this.

That's your choice.

But I choose not to live in the reality of

the lives of the enemy, but live in the reality

that God has died for me. Jesus died to give

me a reality called abundant life. And unless that's true,

you cannot follow this. You cannot practice this. Even lifting

up your hands, it's a mark of surrender, you know,

when we lift our hands. You know there are times

when even that in church, when I lift my hands

and I'm like, oh Lord, you know, I'm worshiping you,

and after in two minutes, like, Lord, my hands, can

I bring it a little down? All of that because

you're so conscious. You're so conscious about yourself. But in

worship the only thing you supposed to be conscious about God.

You know, we pray that people will become more God

conscious than themselves when you focus on yourself. That is pride.

You only think about yourself when you get into worship.

Think about God because that is whom you came to worship.

You can imagine all of this. You come and some

of us like me, others, you know, we'll come praise God,

shout hallelujah and all sort of actions.

You know.

I can stand upside down on my head ALDSA and

praise God. You can do all of that.

But can you come to the next verse, John, Yeah,

next one, next, Yeah.

This is the crucial verse in some ninety five. This

is what I want to come to. I can do

all of this at the end of in my worship.

If I've not heard God, then I've lost the point.

I'll give you an example. Does anyone know what is

the longest flight and he frequent flyers your from your.

Okay, okay, Australia, right, Australia.

Right now, I'm going to book British Airways business class

and I'm going to go to Australia.

How many hours would that be? Twenty hours?

That's okay, it's almost a day, all right. So I

booked this twenty hours flight. I get into this business class,

executive business class or maybe next to the pilot itself.

Who knows.

You know, I booked this flight and I go all

the way to Australia, I reach Australia airport and book

the flight back again to UK.

Are you looking like I did something weird?

No?

I did the right thing. I went to Australia, I

came back. I took twenty hours flight. I went there

and I came back. But don't you think it's a

little bit common sense that if I did all that effort,

paid all that money, took all that twenty hours of effort,

went to Australia. Should shouldn't I even get out of

the airport, look around Australia and come back. That's com sense, right? No,

I don't believe in all of that. But the point

is this. We get into worship, we sing the songs,

we shout hallelujahs, but we don't hear the Lord. We

don't get that space to hear the Lord. But today,

when I worship, what are you talking? Because the Lord speaks.

The Lord speaks, especially when you worship him, the Lord speaks.

And if we didn't hear the Lord, then there's something

wrong with it. The point of worship, you know, even

in the even in the heavens. The beautiful thing is this.

When I was preparing for this, you know, and when

I was walking back on the way, I kept laughing

about it, and people would have thought I'm mad, because

in my mind I was thinking about this, you know,

the previous verse when we read the heavenly Ohs, the angels,

the elders, the saints.

Even we sang that song.

Today everybody is bowing down and throwing their crowns, and

they're literally on the floor. And I can see myself

and other wonderful believers like me standing there and going, oh, good, good,

very good, Yes, very good, Lord, Yes, Oh, praise the Lord,

Praise you Lord, wonderful. I think still some of you

are still to get it, but I will repeat that.

You know, imagine this, All of us go to heaven

and then there are these huge angels. I'll describe one angel.

One angel is a set of him, is a fiery angel.

Imagine the whole sun looking at you, son, sun right,

Imagine the entire sun looking at you.

That's the kind of description of an angel.

And that angel is bowing down before the Lord, and

we're all just standing there and saying yes, yes, yes,

praise the Lord. Harley Loujah. I'm from UK, Lord, so

don't expect too much. I'm from your brethren, from an

Anglican background. This is how we worship.

You.

Just take this Nope, for all you know, the Angel

may strike you down saying you have no idea what

you're doing here. You know some of mysts may do

it out of ignorance, but being in the deception of

the enemy is the most dangerous things you know. Think

about it. He's never made anybody feel that. When you

go to a rock concert, just be dignified. When you

go to a sports win, big didignified. When you are

celebrating the birthday of your son or daughter, be dignified.

Don't go crazy around your kids.

No, only when it comes to worship the devil puts

in your thought.

Be dignified.

Be as cold as a cucumber and straight as a stick. No,

that clearly is the lie of the enemy, because he knows.

The moment your soul, your heart gets connected and you

put all in, you will be set free. Breakthroughs will happen,

healings will happen. People are set free, broken hearts are

made new, broken minds are set free. He knows that

the only way to keep you set in those ways

is say this is how you're supposed to do it.

That's the same dirty lie that he's been telling Eve

from the beginning. He's telling us. He's telling us the

same don't move too much, don't shout too much, don't

sing the song. Just look at everybody else worshiping. What

did you gain? You're like me if you went, if

you took the flight minto Australia and came back, you

didn't get anything. You just spent your time which you

could have done something else with. I don't know if

you are aware of this, but for the general knowledge

of everybody, we are made of three parts. It's gk question,

not a biological question. Though we are made of three parts.

Body soul. What's the last one?

Not ghost? No? Okay, body soul spirit. That's all.

Repeat that body, body, soul spirit, Body soul spirit right,

body soul spirit. The highest of this is your spirit.

The moment you accept Jesus, did you turn from being

black to white?

No?

Really, did you become tall few inches the moment you

accepted Christ? Or become shot or take this as a killer.

Did you become from fat to slim beauty the moment,

no right, nobody. Nothing changed on the outside, but something

really did change inside. Sometimes I wonder where did that

change happen. I still feel the same thing. I still

feel bad about myself what I've done in the past.

I still have anger is shoes, I'm shot tempered guy still.

But where did the change happen? It happened in your spirit.

Your spirit, which was dead, is now alive. Your spirit.

You couldn't understand a word of the Bible before, even

though you've read, but now something at least makes sense.

That word suddenly becomes alive to you. How it's because

of your spirit. And the more your love your spirit,

the more your soul and your body witnesses that change.

To give you an example, your spirit, the moment you

walked in this door, not this door the other door,

is going all ballistic worshiping the Lord and praising why

and he guesses because the Lord is here even before

you walk into this place, because He is more excited

to meet you than you are. So the moment you

walked in that beginning dough, your spirit is going all

excited worship. It's like a small child meeting its parents.

After a long time. All right, it's going all bonkers

about it, excited about it. But your spirit has to

pass your soul. That's how you feel. Maybe the greeter

didn't do a good job today. So when you walked in,

the greeter was looking like you came now, you know,

and you felt like this is the way to greet me.

I'm such an important person. Not even a smile. I

don't like this, So you just come and sit in here. Right,

So you're already upset that your emotions is already gone.

Your spirit is like, oh my God, praise Jesus and

all that. But your spirit is your soul is like,

I'm not in such a good mood to praise God today.

I don't feel like it. Let me see what the

songs are today. It fancies me I will sing other reason.

I'm just gonna watch everybody sing, and then the body,

because the soul is very much controlled by your body.

How many of your life like ice creams? See see

I didn't even say it, raise your hands. See that

that's the point. I didn't say raise your hands. That

soul automatically remembered how the ice cream and the hands

just went out. I don't think I need to say

anything further. So your soul is so closely linked to

your body. There are so many things that you do

without even your knowledge. Just like today, you know you

raise your hand even without me saying anything about it.

But what the spirit feels, it can tell your soul,

and from the soul it goes to your body. And

that's how you start raising up your hands, praying. Sometimes

in worship, you needing, sometimes you're crying. All that happens

from your spirit. But imagine this, which is a reality,

and a big population entire the Christian arena is this.

Most of the born again spirits are in prisons. Are

in prisons built by body and soul. The body and

soul is not going to cooperate, is just going to

say no, I don't feel like doing that today. I

don't feel like coming to church today. Why because rainy?

You still have a car? No, but still I don't

want to drive right.

All of these.

Excuses and everything that you feel is coming from your

soul and your body is just doing it. But your spirit,

which is the born again, wants to do a lot,

but it's imprisoned or restricted.

By your soul and your body.

And what is your body and your soul believe in it,

believes in the lives of the enemy.

That's where the deception is exactly.

There's nothing wrong with your spirit, but your soul and

your body believes in all the lies that the enemy

has told you, saying do this, do that. So imagine

when you go to heaven. You're in for a real shock.

If I'm the person who's going to stand there and say, Okay, Jesus, hallelujah,

hally and to whisper, you know, even the next person

standing next to me will not be able to hear.

Imagine the shock when you go to heaven because in heaven,

when you worship, the foundations tremble. The foundations tremble because

we're not talking about people's you know, say one million

people just saying hallelujah, shout to the Lord. No, these

are a huge, innumerable company of angels singing, and I

don't want to go there if if they start singing,

even the lowest pitch, everything will start shaking. And that

happened continuously in heaven. You know, it's the grace of

God that he has given us this life on earth.

Because this is practice, rehearsal, This is the rehearsal for heaven,

because if you don't practice here, when you go up

to heaven, you're in for real shock. You will not

be able to cope up with it. You'd be like,

what in the world are these people doing. This is

not my way, this is not how my church has

thought me. But praise God, we have been given the

grace and the opportunity to correct ourselves, to come out

of the lies of the enemy and move into the

direction that God has called. You know, one of the

most important things this is the Lord saying, do not

harden your hearts as in rebellion, as in the day

of the trial, in the wilderness. So basically when his

lights were let in the desert. Remember they came out

of Egypt, so they were in the desert in the wilderness.

This is the Lord saying, their hearts are hardened.

Yes, they are people that I have called out by

my strong arm with miracle signs and wonders, have called

them out, but their hearts are still hardened. They don't

want to hear, they don't want to listen to me.

They just want to do what they feel like. It's

like this, Saul, you're in the Saul.

Saul.

Saul one day had to give the sacrifice, the evening sacrifice.

So he's the king, right, So he is like, Okay,

I can't wait for Samuel to come, let me do it.

He did it, and that displease God. Don't take the

things of God very lightly. Imagine if.

How do I say this?

Imagine if I if I'm driving a car right, and

I keep switching the lanes and I drive like a snake,

and I say, I know to drive?

Is that right? You are looking like, as it's right?

We do it every day.

No, no, it is wrong. We can not go on

the road like a snake switching between lanes. How you

feel like and say that's driving. If we give that

much importance to earthly law, how much should be his

significance on what God's statutes and the way God wants

it as a prescribed way of doing things. You know,

when Saul did that, we may think to yah, the

prophet didn't come, so he gave the sacrifice, right, what's.

A big deal in that?

But no, God is displeased with that, and God rejected

him as a king. But that didn't immediately happen, right,

Nothing happened to Saul. He didn't die or anything, but

he was rejected. And when God rejects, it's not an

instant thing, because his grace and mercy is still there.

It's expecting that you will change. You will change, You

will change every single day. Okay, you will change today.

He may change today, she may change. And that is

God's voice saying, I want you to do the things

in the right manner when we come before the Lord.

Go before the Lord and worship him the way he

wants us to. Because, believe me, folks, when you start

worshiping the Lord in the way he has commanded, expect

your miracle because where the presence of the Lord is,

there is deliverance, that is healing, there is miracles. There

are things which you have not even thought about. You know,

what you've been suffering, what you've been carrying all this while,

is because you have believed the lies of the enemy. Well,

today I'm here to tell you break down those lives

of the enemy. Step into what God has called you
