You to speak to us in Jesus' name. We receive
-
the word and we bless you. Amen, hallelujah.
-
I'm quite loud. I don't think I need the Michaels. Yeah,
-
you know, when I was standing back there, this thought
-
cameto my mind. I'm not sure how it is in
-
the UK culture, but back in India we have this
-
unsaid rule. The family sits together closer. All right. Maybe
-
it's not a UK thing, but yeah, Can I request
-
you one thing? One request from you the entire time
-
that you'll have to bear with me. There's only one request,
-
can we whoever is able to come forward? Can you
-
please come forward? If you see a chair before you
-
or beside you, empty, please come forward. If you don't know,
-
I think that there's no chair in front of you,
-
all right, okay, good, I think all the other chairs
-
are taken. Then yeah, thank you. All right, there's first,
-
you know, before the subject is thought, there's a test
-
in this. In this point of time we're gonna do,
-
We're gonna do something together, all right. I'll wait for
-
you all to settle down, okay, before I can talk anything.
-
For the little time that I have, I would request
-
one thing that is your cooperation in doing one small
-
task for me. I'm gonna say, uh, the name of
-
the most important person in my life. Right, I'm gonna
-
spell it to you, and you're gonna repeat that. Can
-
you do that? Yeah? Okay, so it's basically Jesus. Yeah,
-
some of you think you're so lame. Yeah. Anyway, all right,
-
we're gonna do this in turns. Right, we'll see which
-
team or which section of the crowd gets to do
-
this better. We'll start with No, I'm not gonna say that.
-
We're going to start with this side. Give me a jay,
-
give me an E, give me an S, give me
-
a you, give me another S. What does it say?
-
Not bad? Not bad? You know the bar that you
-
need to measure up. Now all right, I'll come close
-
it to you. Give me a jay, Oh, oh, give
-
me an E, Give me a S. Gimme a you,
-
give me another S? What does it say? What does
-
it say? The humble shall stay silent? Now I know
-
all of your love, Jesus. I just wanted you to
-
remember one thing more than any one of us. Here.
-
Jesus is excited to see you, just to meet with you,
-
you know, just to see you here. He is super excited.
-
The Holy Spirit is super excited to see you here. Okay,
-
Today's message, I have no idea what I'm gonna cover,
-
what I have to cover, but I'm just gonna trust
-
a lot. Today's message is gonna bless all of you.
-
It's gonna change all of you. It is gonna heal
-
all of you. It is gonna offend some of you.
-
It's gonna make some of you uncomfortable. It's gonna make
-
some of you saying ouch, I didn't like that, thank you,
-
I didn't like that. Amen. Before we start, I just
-
want to ask too many questions. You know, I know
-
why I'm asking all these questions, But how many of
-
you are saved? That means I'll just clarify that. That
-
means accepted Jesus as your savior, personal savior, right, you know.
-
And to me, because I'm a bit dull minded, to me,
-
this means I am really not sure what I'm doing here.
-
This means yes. This means no. This means I still
-
don't know what I'm doing here. So if it is
-
a yes, it's this Oh, okay, okay, this is somewhere
-
I'm coming close to yes. All right, that's good. So
-
that means at least it'll make sense to you what
-
I'm going to say. Right, So we're going to start
-
with a fictitious character. Right today for the people who
-
are taking notes, maybe the topic of my sermon would
-
be dressed for the task. Subtitle will be clothed with Christ,
-
nothing fancy, nothing new, actually dressed for the task today.
-
When we thought of going to church, how many fuel
-
took out your pajamas and walked in with your pajamas here?
-
None of you all? Why? Because when you want to
-
go to church, there's there's this principle which my father
-
in law used to practice when you used to when
-
you to go when you go to church, you're going
-
to put on your best clothes. And if there's a
-
new pair of clothes, he's going to first wear it
-
to church. We know where he's going to wear it.
-
He's going to wear it to church because he believed
-
and he practiced that the test is for God. Right.
-
So today when you came here, you put on something
-
to come here, right, You put on you okay, not
-
the greatest, not the party were because you don't want
-
to have a party were And then come here and say,
-
you know, I have come to church. No, right, we're
-
all very sensible people. Similarly, when a person accepts Christ,
-
God expects him to put on something, and that is
-
the worse. Galatians three twenty seven. What is that? Galatians
-
three twenty seven reads for as many of you were
-
baptized into Christ. Let's stop that. How many of you
-
all are baptized? Okay, that's a majority. Okay, that's good.
-
That's good for all of us who are baptized. What
-
are we supposed to do? Can we read that? Have
-
put on Christ? And we don't like the second part though,
-
you don't like to put on Christ? Putting you on Christ?
-
We will. We'll get to that. But remember this verse
-
the whole time we're going to talk about this verse.
-
I'll read it once again. For as many of you
-
were baptized into Christ, have put on Christ. You know,
-
the gospel, the good news is a very partial good news,
-
according to my personal opinion, in what is being preached
-
in today's world. You know what the message today is
-
being preached. Accept Christ and you have eternal life. It's
-
the truth. I don't deny that. But that's not the
-
full gospel. The full gospel is accept Christ have eternal life,
-
and why are you going to spend that eternal life
-
in the Kingdom of God? I think it has John
-
the Baptist says, repent before because the Kingdom of God
-
is at hand. Have you ever thought about it? Nobody
-
speaks about the Kingdom of God, whereas Jesus always emphasize
-
the Kingdom of God, the Kingdom of God, Kingdom of God.
-
I'll give you one free fact, whether you accept Christ
-
or not, your eternal life doesn't make any difference, as
-
in you're not going to die anyway. It's not that
-
because if you accept Christ, you will not die. Okay,
-
well you know the blank face. If you accept Christ
-
or don't accept Christ, it doesn't make It doesn't make
-
any difference as in whether you will live forever, because
-
you know what. Integrally, your soul is eternal. However, when
-
you accept Christ, where you spend that eternity will be
-
decided on that choice. You can forever be eternally in
-
hell with the enemy, with Satan, or be eternally with
-
Christ and not in suffering. That is what you decide
-
when you accept Christ as your savior. You know most
-
of y'all would know that because you've already accepted Christ
-
and just re emphasizing what that decision meant, you were
-
born again. But you need to enter into the kingdom.
-
You know, most of us don't understand what a kingdom
-
is because we live in a democratic world where my opinion,
-
my rights, what I think is what matters. You don't
-
understand how a kingdom works. You know, when we say
-
a kingdom, kingdom has what first, a king right and
-
the king's word, king's law is what governs our lives
-
in the kingdom. Amen, let's just read one verse Romans
-
fourteen seventeen. For the Kingdom of God is not eating, drinking,
-
but righteousness, peace, joy in the Holy Ghost. That's such
-
an important word in the Holy Ghost, in the Holy Spirit,
-
it is not eating and drinking. That doesn't mean you'll
-
not in eat and drink Heaven. I'll tell you my
-
version of that was, Heaven is the best party that
-
you're ever yet to attend. It's not a boring place.
-
I'll tell you which is a boring place. Hell, the
-
only thing that you will do is cry, weep, grown
-
in pain. But in heaven that's not the scene. Have
-
you how many of you guys, you know the looks
-
that you're giving me is like, I don't know what
-
you're talking about. Brother, I don't know what a party means.
-
How many? How many if you'll have been to a party.
-
This side is the holy people sit. That side is
-
where the sinners sit. Anyway, for all you transformed sinners,
-
and I'm in that camp. I'm not here reach this camp.
-
We know what a party means right where there is music,
-
whether it is dancing, where there is celebrations, joy, all
-
of the things that we really secretly seek for. Right.
-
I don't know who in Christianity told us that when
-
it is church, be like a dead body. I don't
-
know have you seen dead bodies? Thought that when it
-
is church, I need to be like this. Don't move,
-
don't open your mouth. Most of them close your eyes,
-
sleep off. When they say amen, just say amen, Amen,
-
you're the devil. Amen. Yes, that's not true. You've got
-
to be alive in the church. The Kingdom of God
-
is something that you need to enter into. That means
-
you need to make a choice. Your choice doesn't stop
-
with accepting Christ. You don't think about this. I think
-
yesterday we had such an amazing time for the men.
-
The men in the church, hallelujah. Did we have an
-
exciting time? Amen? We did have, And the best thing
-
about it was that for us to get a space
-
to talk about things that we struggle. For those of
-
you thought men don't struggle with anything, we struggle desperately,
-
but we are too too proud about it to not
-
talk because of our ego. Right, But we do struggle.
-
But thank God for his mercy that he helped us deal
-
with those things yesterday. Many of us think that the
-
only decision that you need to do as a Christian
-
is except Christ. After there's nothing, no other decision to make,
-
nothing to make. Automatically, I'm going to go to heaven.
-
You're almost backed to your backs and you're ready to
-
go to heaven. Whenever you call me, I'm ready, Lord,
-
I'm going to come home. No, that's not it, you know,
-
if that's what it is. The day I accepted Christ
-
of fall dead and been to heaven. The very purpose
-
that God has you still here. That means He wants
-
to do something through you to me. Yeah, yes, you
-
you right there. You the one who doesn't talk too much,
-
the one who's too shy, the one who's to confuse yes, you.
-
God has a purpose and he wants to do that purpose.
-
But he is a gentleman. He is not your old
-
ex need be careful of using that ex ex master.
-
So many things that come to my mind, your ex
-
master who is a wicked one who whips you and
-
who demeans you and tells you do this or that
-
and gets you to do things. In case you're wondering,
-
who's my ex master, I didn't have any master. Your
-
old buddy Satan, Yeah, my old old budy before. The
-
Holy Spirit will always wait for your participation. The more
-
you participate with him, the more you will walk in
-
the kingdom. And man, can we have First Corinthians four
-
twenty what is the Kingdom of God? For the Kingdom
-
of God is not in word, but in power power
-
how you pronounce it. The Kingdom of God is not
-
in word. That means in simple my version, it means
-
it's not high phi theology. It's not beautifully said words
-
or emotionally charge words. That is the Kingdom of God.
-
Kingdom is Kingdom of God is pure, hundred percent the
-
raw power of God. I want you to do this.
-
Think about when you got saved, when you accepted Christ.
-
Was there some fancy ambient music that was swelling up
-
and you felt so emotional, I need to run to Christ.
-
No it was not, it was not there was it
-
the fancy words and high vocabulary English that got you
-
to believe Jesus. No, if it did, you can say yes,
-
I don't mind, but you and I can't explain really
-
in plain English, what made you to accept Christ. There
-
was a real sensation or suddenly a fact came to
-
you alive that Jesus died for me. Forget the whole world,
-
He died for me. When that realization happened is when
-
you gave your life to Christ. Am I speaking the truth?
-
And the way you guys are looking, you are piercing
-
a hole through me. That is the work of the
-
Holy Spirit. That is the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
I believe days are coming when people are not going
-
to debate about whose theology is right. But it's going
-
to be the pure act of power. You know, just
-
like in the days of Moses when he had to
-
deliver his rights. It will be the pure act of
-
power because in current times, in the current times, there
-
are so much demonic activities left right center. It's it's
-
as though. You know, the demons are going outright evangelizing people,
-
join us, we can do this, we can do that,
-
and all of that. And in the end, it's not
-
going to be about going to give a beautiful sum
-
or who is going to have the best debate about God,
-
about Jesus. No, it's going to be just like Elijah
-
can display who will bring down the power of God.
-
And God knows to validate it himself. He's not weak.
-
He doesn't come out for every whims of Satan. And
-
you know, wherever Satan displays his power, he's not going
-
to feel inferior. He's not insecure. Oh my God, Satan
-
did that. I need to show myself. He doesn't have
-
to A cop never has to prove that he's a
-
cop to a robber. I'll repeat that. A cop never
-
has to prove to the robber that he is a cop. Amen,
-
think about this when you are born again. Right now,
-
you're a new born Christian and you're thinking, okay, what's next.
-
You got baptized, right after that? What after that? The
-
important part is knowing how to function in the Kingdom
-
of God. And it's a big tragedy there. Most of
-
the churches in Christianity don't have people who can function
-
in the Kingdom of God. They are still Christian, but
-
function in the Kingdom of the Devil because they follow
-
the same rules. It's I'll give you a simple example.
-
I got enlisted. Think about it. It's not where the
-
the armor. I'm going to handle all those big guns
-
which I played in PUBG. You know, I'm going to
-
do all the head shots and all of that. I'm
-
thinking all of these crazy things and I'm going to be,
-
you know, part of the black Ops and all of
-
those movie ideas that I have in my mind. But
-
I have no clue what it takes to reach there.
-
I have no clue that I need to go through
-
that discipline to reach there. But do you think if
-
if I'm just going to walk into the the wheather
-
drill happens the way where the exercise happens. I suppose
-
there's a a gun practice, a shooting practice, right, and
-
I go there and say, yeah, I've played a lot
-
of PUBG. I know how to operate this gun. I'm
-
going to do very well. You know, for your information,
-
there's no auto aim in the real gun. It's only
-
the PUBG and your games in the tap and you
-
go there and for the first time, when you shoot,
-
you just fall into the ground because of the recoil.
-
And suddenly you understand, oh my god, there's so much
-
more than I thought about. You know before you used
-
to just click off a button and it shoots the bullet.
-
The same thing happens in reality. When you're born again Christian.
-
It's not a bed of roses. There are certain disciplines
-
you need to incorporate. You cannot walk in the kingdom
-
of the enemy and follow those principles which the world
-
is following and expect a different result. Call me insane,
-
but I do this throughout the week. There's no prayer,
-
there's no Bible reading. I'm gonna party, I'm gonna smoke,
-
I'm gonna drink everything. But I'm a Christian. Don't tell anybody.
-
Don't tell my office people. I'm a Christian. I don't
-
even tell myself. Let's keep that as a secret identity.
-
I'm not gonna tell anybody. If somebody talks about Christ also,
-
I'll behave like, I don't know what you're talking about.
-
But when I come on Sunday, praise the Lord, Brother,
-
I know all the church phrases that I need to say.
-
I know exactly when to say the hallelujah, when to
-
say an Amen? Who are you fooling? God's not fooled, Satan,
-
definitely not fooled. He's the one who gave you that idea.
-
You just fool yourself, and then when an issue comes up,
-
you're wondering, this God thing doesn't work. Man. I prayed,
-
and I prayed sincerely, but God didn't answer me. But
-
God's going to ask you only one question. Did you
-
follow the principles in my kingdom? You didn't? Did you
-
follow it? Because if you follow the principles in my kingdom,
-
you will see the result. Amen. It's this Another thing
-
is about we go to So that's another extreme, the
-
opposite of it. I go to church every day. I
-
pray five times a day or six times, which was convenient.
-
I read one chapter every day, and I fast on
-
a Friday. I don't know why people fast on a
-
particular Friday, but anyway, I fast on a Friday. I
-
do everything. I attend all the meetings possible, I do
-
everything possible. I have all the ticks in the boxes,
-
but still I don't see the Holy Spirit. You know why.
-
I'll give you this phrase. Works don't work in Christianity.
-
I'll repeat that, works don't work in Christianity. You need
-
to be led by the Holy Spirit. If you seen
-
that worse first Karrirenthians four twenty. So the Kingdom of
-
God is not in word, but in power, which power
-
the Holy Spirit. The most important thing that Christians, we
-
Christians lack is the power of the Holy Spirit. You
-
cannot live the Christian life without the Holy Spirit. It's impossible.
-
Try living it is worse than being unbelievable that you
-
were before. You will just hat. It's easier to live
-
as an unbeliever, but not as a Christian without the
-
Holy Spirit. Every single one of us has to depend
-
on the Holy Spirit. It's a very simple thing. How
-
can I get the Holy Spirit? Some will say I
-
have five golden steps of getting the Holy Spirit, or
-
some will say read this book and you will get
-
the Holy Spirit. Or some will say if you lay,
-
if I lay my hand on you and pray in tongues,
-
you will get the Holy Spirit. You don't need to
-
do all of that. You don't need to do all
-
of that. It is back to the basics, and you
-
know what the basics say. How did you receive Jesus
-
as your savior. There are two things you did. One
-
you believed. What did you believe? You believe that He
-
died for you. Second, you obeyed. Your act of obedience
-
was getting up from your chair, going to the front
-
of the altar and saying, pray for me to receive Christ. Believe, obey.
-
There is no a mysterious way of getting the Holy Spirit.
-
It is simple. Every single thing in the Bible, you
-
get it by believing being today. If you want the
-
Holy Spirit, the simplest thing, believe. First of all, he
-
is not a mystical power. He's not from Marvel, neither
-
from DC, whichever you subscribe to. He's not from both
-
the camp. He is a living person. And I always
-
thought about this Chad Jesus was there, you know, we
-
could hang around with him and then learn about how
-
to do things. It would be much more cooler. I
-
don't know how to work with this Holy Spirit. But
-
then Jesus himself says, thank you. Know it's better that
-
I go and he is here because He can be
-
everywhere at the same time with you, with somebody else
-
in the other part of the country. Or other part
-
of the world at the same time, and do much
-
more with you than with me. Amen. All right. Two.
-
One of the things that keeps you where you are
-
in your Christian walk, you know, is what pride. It's
-
the most amazing topic that we don't want to talk about,
-
and we don't acknowledge it. Some of us acknowledge it,
-
and we say we are the cream, we are the worm,
-
and we are nothing. No, that's not true. But the
-
other extreme is I don't have to do anything. I'm perfect,
-
I'm good. It's like this. I take the train from Egham,
-
I go sit. You know that are compartments what do
-
you call Bogie's compartments? Right in the train right now.
-
I go to the compartment that's the closest to the driver, okay,
-
and I go sit there, and I travel from here
-
to Waterloo. And when I get down at Waterloo, the
-
person who meets me, I tell them, you know what, today,
-
I was driving the train, well laughing, that's the truth.
-
I was driving the train. If you if you laughed
-
at it, that means all of us here have better
-
common sense than me. Because I have this view thinking
-
that if I come to church and sit and watch
-
everybody do everything and observe keenly which snacks are out?
-
Why is the slight looking lad? Or Oh, I can't
-
lift my head, but I can put my head down
-
on my phone, but I can't lift my head and
-
see the screen. Though, if I'm going to observe all
-
of that and then go back and feel that I
-
am a child of God, have that feeling. I think
-
if I do all of that, I'm a child of God.
-
It's the same thing as me sitting in the train
-
and reaching water and saying I drove the train today
-
very good. Just because you're an RCF here doesn't make
-
you a Christian. When you practice being a child of God,
-
walking in his ways, walking in his plans, then you
-
are a child of God. You know. There are so
-
many verses that Paul says, you would be familiar with this.
-
You will not inherit the kingdom of God. Remember that
-
verse he has on big list. He says, you know,
-
if you are homosexual, if you are you know, envy, filled,
-
a deceit or drunkenness, or whatever that you can think about.
-
He ends up with, you will not inherit the Kingdom
-
of God. You know, why have you ever thought about it? Why?
-
Why is being so mean? He's not open minded, he's
-
not inclusive. He doesn't understand diversity. Paul is an old guy.
-
He doesn't get it. It's not about inclusivity or diversity.
-
It is about those characteristics belong to the kingdom of
-
the devil, and the characters of love, joy, peace, righteousness
-
are the characteristics of the Kingdom of God. You don't
-
want to be an odd man out when you reach heaven.
-
Imagine all your life you were born again, You're a
-
baby Christian all your life till you diet, and then
-
you and you were mean. You are selfish, unhelpful to anybody.
-
Always give me, give me attitude, give me prayer, gimme gifts,
-
give me help. All the help that I want I
-
need to get from you, all the prayer I need.
-
You need to pray for me. I will not pray
-
for anybody. Say you are a gimme child. And then
-
when you get to heaven you feel strange because everyone
-
else behaves differently than you. That is something that we
-
need to avoid. Amen. Before I close, Oh, no, talk
-
about or highlight to you. How do we how do
-
you identify that you are operating in the kingdom of
-
God or in the kingdom of the devil. I'll tell
-
you this in a very small way. Every time I
-
don't know some of you all may identify this. Every
-
time there's a there's a there's a situation in your mind,
-
and he says, I don't know what's going to play
-
out in my future. I'm so worried. I'm so worried.
-
Worrying is from Is it from God, from whom wow
-
so much respect for him. It's from the enemy. Worrying
-
is from the enemy. Every time you worry, you need
-
to say the Lord has a good plan. You know.
-
That is agreeing, and that is believing. I don't know
-
why we are so hesitant to say the good things
-
that God has told us. We are so we literally
-
jump the gun to say if you're tired, you won't
-
see you're tired. I'm shattered. You're not shattered. You're still
-
one piece. You're still it's still one piece, You're not chattered.
-
But we are so eager to tell the negative. But
-
if I if I ask you to say, say I'm whole,
-
I don't get that. You know, it takes for us
-
such a big motivation to say something right about ourselves.
-
If I'm going to talk to my friend and say
-
I don't know what my future is, I am so
-
worried about it. You see the flow. It comes automatically.
-
But if I'm going to tell my friend God has
-
a plan for me and he will do it, you
-
are almost thinking what my friend is going to think
-
about me. He thinks i'mout crazy guy. That doesn't sound
-
very realistic. But you know what the truth is. That
-
is the reality, and it depends on you. It doesn't
-
depend no matter who prays past a Dave can pray
-
away a head till you become hairless, but still it's
-
not going to change. He can place his hand on
-
your head, keep praying, but it's not going to change
-
until you speak from your mouth and declare over your
-
life that you have a blessed future. When you feel fear,
-
what does God say? Yeah, do not fear. There are
-
so many verses, three sixty five verses and above that
-
God saying do not fear. But he's not going to
-
It is not up to him. He's already told you
-
the word of the king is the law in the kingdom. Right,
-
He's told you do not fear Now it is up
-
to us to believe it and say it out. Confess it.
-
Just the way you got saved, you believed, you confess.
-
So when you enter into fear, confess the Lord has
-
told me not fear. I will not fear. I will
-
not fear, but trust in the Lord. And the moment
-
you speak it out is when the Holy Spirit activates.
-
Is when the power of the Holy Spirit starts working
-
in you. You may not feel goosebumps, you may not
-
feel suddenly like a lion. No, you not feel all
-
of that. But believe me, the more you say that,
-
the spirit that brings fear into you will back off.
-
What we do as good Christians is when we feel fear,
-
we say I feel fear, I feel fear. I'm so scared.
-
I'm so scared. You are just reinforcing what the devil
-
is telling you. Let me get something more personal. I'm
-
not confident of doing it. I don't know. I have
-
lack of confidence if I can do it. What does
-
God say any idea when you're not confident of doing anything?
-
I can do all things. Why because I'm super smart
-
or because I'm Tony Stark. No, I can do I
-
can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Not
-
because I'm some great person that I can do something.
-
I know my capabilities, but I know God who lives
-
inside me, and he can do it through me. The
-
Holy Spirit wants to do amazing things. You know why
-
so many characters are given in the Bible so that
-
you and me are without excuse. Because my number one
-
excuse back in my teenage days when one of the
-
prophets came to my college and we invited a prophet
-
to my college, and then that prophet was praying over
-
me and he said a word that I'll never forget.
-
He told, God calls you the King of excuses. I
-
can write a book of excuses. You can give to
-
God all sort of excuses. I've given all sort of excuses.
-
You know. God has given so many examples in his
-
words so that you and I are without an excuse.
-
The easiest excuse that we say is, oh, Jesus can
-
do it. I'm not Jesus. If Elijah can do it,
-
you can do it. If Peter can do it. Peter,
-
remember Peter Man, he was a mess. It was a
-
hot mess. And if he can he can do it,
-
you sure can do it. If not. When you reach
-
up in heaven, Peter is gonna ask you, dude, you
-
could have done better than me, but it was your
-
choice to not do it. So let's kick off excuses
-
out of the window. Because God says you can do it.
-
He will empower you to do it. I'm not sure
-
how to proceed. There is something with all of us.
-
You know, I just finished my course. I don't know
-
what I need to do next. You know what God says,
-
I will direct your steps. You know. It's a god
-
so interesting because you know what He put the precious
-
metals where on the top of the top of the
-
surface of the earth. No, it would have been easy, right.
-
Goal is everywhere. Go pick it up, my ecconom and
-
sell it. Do what you want. Oil is flowing like
-
a river. To use it. No where did he put
-
deep in the ground? Why? Because you need to do
-
some work. You need to do some work. God is
-
not the god of laziness. If you didn't know that,
-
I'm letting you know. God, our God is a god
-
who appreciates, who expects you'll put in your effort. Because
-
nothing works without you. He will not do anything in
-
your life without you, without involving you. He expects you
-
to be part of it a man. When you say
-
I don't know how to proceed, God says, I will
-
direct your steps when you feel all alone. Oh my god,
-
cod Cod really showed reality to us, as in, how
-
many people have mental illness in terms of loneliness, in
-
terms of I don't know paranoi or whatever sort of
-
mental illness, and what does God says? I am with you.
-
I will never leave you now forsake you. Believe me.
-
People around you can leave you, yes, you, they can
-
leave you. But he, God is the only person knowing
-
everything that you do, knowing all the tantrums you have,
-
the tendencies that you have, the temperaments that you have,
-
He's still going to be there with you. He will
-
never leave you. The last one, last second one. I'm
-
not beautiful enough. Oh my god, you know, I think
-
I think it was my wife my daughter was talking about.
-
There's this new trend in China, you know, a four
-
a four sheets something. I don't really know what that was.
-
Afore you know, your waist size should be a four
-
size or something like a four sheet size. They have
-
some amazing crazy standards of beauty and all of us
-
most of us try to subscribe to it. We all
-
want to look beautiful by what standard, by what they
-
shown the TV, by what they show, or what people
-
prescribe on social media. Oh no, I put this pic
-
that I was in this park and I didn't get
-
any likes. Nobody even sent me a heart. I'm so
-
depressed now I need some medication to get over my depression.
-
Come on, grow up. That's not the end of life.
-
But when you think you're not beautiful, beautiful, and no
-
matter how much you may look absolutely stunning. But if
-
you think in your mind, I'm not good enough, I'm
-
not beautiful enough, that's a trap of the enemy. And
-
when you think you're not good enough, what does God says?
-
God says, I have beautifully, wonderfully made, fearfully made. Literally,
-
God's fingerprint is all over you, whether you like it
-
or not. He has formed you. And when he has
-
formed you, you have no question to say I don't
-
look good doesn't matter. The one who made you things
-
You are absolutely stunning, masterpiece, one of a kind. He
-
doesn't want you to be somebody else. And the last one,
-
I am not good enough. I'm never good enough. I
-
do all these things at church. I'm trying to be
-
the good person, but inside you are so critical about yourself.
-
You demean yourself, you critically look at yourself. No matter
-
what you do, you don't feel good about yourself. I
-
just don't feel good. I still feel I'm a horrible person.
-
You know what the antidote to that is, God says,
-
I am your righteousness. I am your righteousness. It is
-
not in you. It is not because you did something
-
good that you need to feel good about yourself. You
-
need to feel good and real good because I am
-
within you. It is not in your works. It is
-
not in your ability to feel good or you know,
-
to feel worthy. But it is because you have clothed
-
yourself with Christ. You know it takes. This is the
-
battle that Paul talks about. Every Christian need to get serious.
-
It's like this, go to a battlefield without any gun.
-
Right suppose I don't know which country, some country, Ukraine.
-
You've been sent from here to Ukraine to go fight,
-
and they never give you a gun, or you never
-
took a gun. You're just gonna walk there. What will happen?
-
You'll get fired, You'll die. Why because you don't have
-
a weapon. You're just gonna stand there and walk and
-
talk to people. Nobody's gonna listen to you. You're gonna
-
be shot that the first moment you take the first step,
-
and that is exactly what's happening to every single Christian
-
in the world. You've got to take those actions. You've
-
got to confess, fight your battles, put down your foot
-
and say no, devil no. When you are standing in church,
-
the devil say you don't need to worship that, you
-
don't need to do this, you don't need to sing
-
this song, and you know you not come on time.
-
You don't need to do all that. As long as
-
you don't do all of that, he still has the
-
grip on you. Simple example, when we call for prayer,
-
I don't want to get up and go, or if
-
people think I have some issues, yeah you have issues.
-
Nobody is there without any issues. Everybody has issues. But
-
when we sit there, that is literally pride, and it
-
grieves the Holy Spirit. It grieves the Holy Spirit because
-
you know what He wants to set you free, but
-
he cannot invade your will. He will not He will
-
not overcome your will and say no, no, I want
-
to make you right. Come on, I'll make you right. No,
-
he won't do it. He will wait for you to
-
willingly come to him. If you come to him, he
-
is faithful to set you free. Every time when there
-
is a call for prayer, please it's my humble request.
-
Step up, step forward. It doesn't matter what anybody thinks,
-
because end of the day, you're the one who's going
-
through it. You're the one who's facing it, and only
-
you know the pain that you have in your life.
-
And if you want to be set free, you got
-
to take that step. You've got to put that foot
-
forward and come forward and get set free, because you
-
know what, the Holy Spirit is here to set you free.
-
It grieves the Holy Spirit every single day when you
-
come in, every single Sunday you come in, you go
-
back with the same issue, with the same mental illness,
-
with the same physical deformity, every single thing that you're facing.
-
It grieves him because he is just waiting. It's like
-
Jesus saying, Oh Israel, oh Jerusalem, how I could set
-
you free. It grieves him to see you struggle with
-
something that he is already paid for. That is you
-
that God wants to give you the access to every
-
time you get an opportunity, somebody wants to somebody's calling
-
up for prayer, run forward, literally, run forward. You know
-
that scarce the enemy. As long as you're going to
-
sit there and say it's okay, maybe next Sunday. Brother,
-
you're not going to live tomorrow. Forget next week Sunday.
-
That's a long shot. You are not sure about tomorrow.
-
So don't wait for next Sunday. The moment you take
-
that step of faith and say Lord, every person you
-
go through the Bible, every person that step forward and says,
-
son of David, Jesus, heal me. What did Jesus do?
-
He said, come tomorrow, what did he do? He did it?
-
Thank you Joel. He healed that person. He set that
-
captive free. Now today, if you want to be set free,
-
look up to God. We're gonna pray. But I would
-
request everyone if you need prayers, so they will be there.
-
Other elders Simon o Yasmin can join us and they
-
will pray for each one. My desire is this. I
-
don't want to see one soul stepping out of this
-
door without being prayed. Because you know what God cares
-
for you. God loves you and it hurts him terribly
-
to see you in pain, and it hurts him terribly
-
to see you walk out in pain after coming and
-
meeting him. Amen. So I would request everybody will be
-
getting into worship in a few moments from now. But
-
as the worship team leads worship, I would request each
-
person cameras are not looking at you. It's only you
-
and God. If you need prayer, you need to step up,
-
get up from your seat, or write to the people,
-
to the past, Dave and Simon and Jasmin, to the
-
elder standing here, they will pray over you. But today,
-
make this very clear. You are not going to step
-
out of this place the way you came in, because
-
you need to be set free. I hope you're getting this.
-
God is not interested to play religion. He is interested
-
to see his people set free, walking boldly, healed and
-
walking in strength for the Lord. He is the God
-
of the redeemed. He is not the god of the
-
weak the failing. Let today be the day where Satan
-
loses his grip on you. Let today be the day
-
whether chains put by the enemy is broken off you.
-
Let today be the day you say no not anymore
-
to the devil and say yes, Lord, lead me so
-
that I may run the race that you have for me,
-
so that I may walk in your kingdom. Amen, We're
-
gonna pray now, but I would request past Dave Simony
-
asked me to come forward. Lord. We thank you Lord,
-
as the worship team comes and leads us in the
-
background with the song. I want everyone to introspect, think
-
about areas that you are struggling with. Lay it all
-
down before God, come before him. Don't let the enemy
-
win today, but get up, come forward and get prayed over.
-
Let the Lord do in your life what nobody else
-
can do. Let the Lord set you free in areas
-
where the devil has caught you, trapped you and kept
-
you as a prisoner from not excelling in your life.
-
Let the freedom of God. Let the power of God
-
manifest in your life. If you need prayer, come forward.
-
This is your moment. Step up, step forward, come come
-
and get prayed over. Let the power of God manifest
-
in your life. Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord for
-
every soul holy spirit that you are working upon them,
-
that you are giving them the strength and the boldness. Lord,
-
to stand up and walk forward, Lord, to get prayed over. Lord.
-
We thank you, Holy Spirit, because you are a good God.
-
You are a merciful God, Oh Lord, and let your
-
love manifest. Let your compassion break through in this place.
-
O Lord, thank you Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank you
-
Holy Spirit. Let your power move Lord. Let the hearts
-
be changed. Let every wall of pride be broken in
-
the name of Jesus. Lord, let every stronghold be broken
-
in the name of Jesus. We thank you for the
-
souls that are standing up and coming forward. Oh Lord,
-
We thank you Lord, because you are at work in
-
this place. Lord. We thank you Lord. We thank you Lord.
-
We thank you Lord. Let every soul Lord move forward
-
in the name of.
-
Jesus, be set free in the name of Jesus. Be
-
set free in the name of Jesus.
-
Lord, we thank you, We thank you, Lord. We thank
-
you Lord. I see change be broken in the name
-
of Jesus. Oh rab Lord, I thank you. I thank
-
you for the strength and your heart soul. Lord, I
-
thank you Lord for that desperation Lord that you're putting
-
in your heart's Lord to meet up with you in
-
the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. We
-
thank you, Lord, We thank you Lord. Oh we thank
-
you Lord about shut out the ni Oba city. Say,
-
oh Jesus, come and have your ways. Come and have
-
your way. Oh coming, have your way. Oh I laid
-
on my pride and laid on my pride in your presence.
-
I laid on my pride. Oh I come. H m
