  1. Before I shed the word for today, I'm just going

  2. to say a word of prayer. Lord Jesus, we thank

  3. you for this day, Holy Spirit. Father, thank you for

  4. you our present here in our midst today. Because your

  5. word says we're two or three gather in my name,

  6. I am there in their midst. So we thank you

  7. for being here today. We honor you, we glorify you.

  8. We'll lift you up, for you are worthy. You alone

  9. are worthy of our praise. Holy Spirit. I surrender myself

  10. into your hands. Every word that I speak may be

  11. the words that you want to say today. I pray

  12. Lord that there will be healing today. I pray Lord

  13. that there will be healing of the heart, mind, body, spirit.

  14. I pray Lord that deaf years will open in Jesus' name,

  15. spiritual years, physical years, and deafness in every possible in

  16. Jesus Mighty name. Amen. Okay, I'm just going to hold

  17. this because I'm scared it's going to not hold the

  18. weight of this, but I think it should be fine.

  19. The title of the word for today is Jesus was

  20. born for you and me. I just want you to

  21. think about that He was born for you and me.

  22. It is very personal charge. I know it's a national,

  23. no internet holiday. I know that countries around the world

  24. are celebrating Christmas. Everyone is in their Christmas best clothes,

  25. sharing cake and wine and good food. And that's great.

  26. It's it's wonderful to celebrate a good thing, because we

  27. do celebrate good events occasions. But this is not Christmas

  28. is not just an international holiday. Christmas was an event

  29. that was personal. It's about you. Jesus was born for you.

  30. Make it personal because it was very personal. Hmm okay,

  31. what makes it to the headlines today? What do we

  32. see on the news today? Do we see politics, Yes,

  33. I think there's a lot of that in the news.

  34. Do we see sports, Yeah, we know who wins the

  35. World Cups? Fashion trends. How many of us follow the

  36. news to see the fashion trends? Yeah? Now, celebrity gossip

  37. very important, isn't it? Who got divorced? And you know, well,

  38. not the best thing to say on Christmas, But anyways,

  39. on the occasion, we do see in the news an

  40. event that may change your life, that impacts your life directly.

  41. Many years ago, there was one such event that changed

  42. the life of humanity civilization. The invention of the telephone. Okay,

  43. so this was a Scottish man, Alexander Graham Bell. He

  44. worked as a speech and hearing expert. His mother and

  45. wife both were deaf, and seeking to improve the telegraph,

  46. he researched voice transmission and in eighteen seventy six he

  47. patented the telephone. Now we all know that this device

  48. revolutionized communication. Until then it was just letters. You had

  49. to post handwritten letters or telegraphs that were typed out,

  50. and that was how you could communicate to your loved ones.

  51. It was one of the most significant advances of the

  52. Second Industrial Revolution, to the extent that it marks the

  53. beginning of modern society. Without it, the world would not

  54. be as we know it today. How many of us

  55. have a phone a mobile phone? Yeah, everyone has a

  56. mobile phone these days. You can't in India, where there

  57. are different classes. Across the world, there are different classes,

  58. the middle class, the upper middle class, you know, the elite,

  59. the high and mighty, the wealthy. But in India even now,

  60. if you go to India, you would find in the

  61. most remote villages you'd find you know, fruit sellers or

  62. vegetable sellers on carts with mobile phones in their hands,

  63. and you don't even have to pay them in cash.

  64. They'll say, you can, you know, g pay them Google pay.

  65. Telephones are everywhere and we wouldn't have it without the

  66. Scottish man Alexander Graham Bell. Why is she talking about

  67. telephones on Christmas? Like? What's wrong with this, lady, Deborah?

  68. I mean you seriously got all your lions crossed. No,

  69. despite the advancement of technology, the rates of loneliness and

  70. depression of skyrocketing. We are so technologically advanced. We have Facebook,

  71. we have WhatsApp, we have Twitter, we have Instagram, all

  72. means of communication to keep in touch with each other. Right,

  73. we had to write handwritten letters back in the day.

  74. Now you can send a message to a friend with

  75. the click of a button. You can How many have

  76. you sent letters? No? How many of you send a

  77. text message on What'sapp saying Merry Christmas to my family.

  78. See that's how easy it was. But sadly, despite despite

  79. the technological advancement, loneliness depression is skyrocketing today. And do

  80. you know why? It's because God the Father has been

  81. reaching out to us. You are not alone. God the

  82. Father has been reaching out to us through the lips

  83. of his prophets. There are over hundreds of prophets in

  84. the Old Testament who have prophesied about the birth of Jesus.

  85. Why because God, the Father's heart is filled with love

  86. and longing. He wants to commune with you, connect with you,

  87. bond with you like He did with Adam and Eve

  88. in the cool of the day. God was not far

  89. away from us. God created us, and he met Adam

  90. and Eve every evening in the cool of the garden.

  91. He did that. Why did God do that? Was God lonely?

  92. I don't think God was ever lonely. He is triune.

  93. But God knew that the human heart can be lonely

  94. without him, and you will be lonely without him. But

  95. you don't have to be God the Father made a

  96. way for the human heart to never be lonely. Again,

  97. we have the prophets in the Old Testament, Isaiah, Micah, Samuel.

  98. All of these prophets prophesied the Lord's coming. I'm going

  99. to read Isaiah seven fourteen and says, therefore, the Lord

  100. will give you a sign. The Virgin will conceive and

  101. give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.

  102. The Angel answered in Luke one pint thirty five to Mary,

  103. the Holy Spirit will come on you. The power of

  104. the most tie will overshadow you. So the holy one

  105. to be born will called, will be called the Son

  106. of God. This was prophesied many hundreds of years before

  107. Jesus was born, and it was fulfilled in Luke, chapter one,

  108. verse thirty five. I wish I could go through all

  109. the prophecies. What are these prophecies? These are God's love letters.

  110. These are God's telephone calls. These are God's messages to humanity,

  111. saying that I love you. You are alone without me, you

  112. are not complete, You are incomplete without me. I love

  113. you so much. I am sending you messages throughout the

  114. whole expanse of time. And I'm telling you I'm sending

  115. my son. I am sending Jesus. And why am I

  116. sending my son Jesus. It is the passionate, loving heart

  117. of the Father saying I'm sending you Jesus because I

  118. want to be close to you again. I want to

  119. commune with you, connect with you, just like I did

  120. with Adam and Eve. Jesus was born two thousand years

  121. ago in Bethleh for you, for me. He took the

  122. form of man. But his birth had a purpose. It

  123. was you because he loves you. He was born a human,

  124. went through the human experience for you, for you, he

  125. wants to know, He wanted to know how it was

  126. to feel like a human because he was God right.

  127. Imagine royalty leaving his all of his royal you know, treatments, luxuries,

  128. whatever that you know, royal people are used to royalties,

  129. used to having and he came down in a human

  130. experience because he loved you and he wanted you. He

  131. wanted to know you and understand you in every way.

  132. Do you know that? Sometimes we don't understand ourselves. Sometimes

  133. we do things and we go we wonder like, why

  134. did I do that? Why did I say that? Why

  135. did I make that decision? What's wrong with me? Jesus

  136. understands you. He understands everything about you. And he came

  137. two thousand years ago as a baby. But do you

  138. know what, Jesus is coming back again, and this time

  139. he's not going to be a baby. He's not a baby.

  140. He's going to be the king of kings, and every

  141. king and every knee will bow before Jesus. He's coming

  142. for his bride. Now for those who are you know

  143. on their journey with the Bible. We the Church are

  144. the bride of Christ. Jesus came two thousand years ago.

  145. I'm going to repeat that, but he's coming back for

  146. his bride. He wants a bride who's preparing for him?

  147. How can you prepare for Jesus? How can you do that?

  148. Two ways? No, Actually, I'm going to give you one

  149. hundred steps on how you can prepare for Jesus. Everyone excited.

  150. We're going to get one hundred steps. We're going to

  151. go through each and every step in detail. I'm just

  152. finding you all up. Two ways, guys, there were two

  153. ways that you can prepare for Jesus. How can you

  154. prepare for Jesus? Worship and pray? I know that sounds

  155. really simple, right, We're in charge worship and pray. That's

  156. the most simple thing to do. Do we give God

  157. his due worth? How do you behave? How would you behave?

  158. If just right now, Prince King Charles walk through the door,

  159. would everyone just sit there now? If Prime Minister Narramodi

  160. walk through the door, everyone would stand in respect and

  161. in honor. Do we give Jesus his due worth? He

  162. is worthy of all your worship. Worship is also worthship.

  163. That's something that we learned worthship. How many times do

  164. you look at this guy and you see this beautiful

  165. sunset and you go, like, God, that's you. You're amazing.

  166. How many times do you look at I don't know

  167. a rose that blooms and you say, God, that's you.

  168. Do you really take time throughout your day to look

  169. at things and go, I worship you God, because that

  170. is only you, and only you can do that. How

  171. many of you have tried in like, you know, growing

  172. a plant. Yes, a lot of gardeners in the house tried, yes,

  173. that being the keyword. But you know you cannot create

  174. a rose. God created the rose. And yet we walk

  175. through gardens and we just don't even take a second

  176. to worship God. Worship is not coming on a Sunday

  177. and singing a song. Worship is every single second of

  178. your life. You look at the sky, you say, God,

  179. you're amazing, worship you. You look at the rose, you say, God,

  180. you're amazing. I worship you. You look at a newborn baby,

  181. you say, God, you're amazing. I worship you. You look

  182. at the food on your table, you say, God, you

  183. are my provider, I worship you. You look at your

  184. children and say, God, you have blessed me with this offspring.

  185. I worship you. You look at everything around you and

  186. you say, God, I worship you. Because worship is not

  187. a song. Worship is every breath that you breathe, and

  188. God deserves your worship. Pray the second point. Pray talk

  189. to God, hear his heart for your future, and see

  190. your role in his plan. You have the privilege of

  191. being a part of God's plan. I'm going to repeat that,

  192. you have the privilege of being a part of God's plan.

  193. Can you Can you fathom that? It's like mel Gibson

  194. rings you and says, hey, Selma, I would like you

  195. to play the lead in my next movie doing Passion

  196. of the Christ three and I would like you to

  197. play the role of dorcas one of the wealthy women

  198. who ran business. She ran her own business and she

  199. supported the ministry of Jesus. I would like you to

  200. play that role. Sama's going to be like you know,

  201. she's going to be over the moon. She's going to

  202. be so happy. That's to play the part in a

  203. human production movie. You have the privilege of playing a

  204. part in God's plan that is amazing, that is massive.

  205. Do not discredit that. Do you know how you can

  206. discredit that by not being a part of it. Do

  207. you know how you cannot be a part of God's plan.

  208. Don't pray, don't ask God, make your own decisions in life.

  209. Just go through life and say, oh, you know what,

  210. I think this is the best thing that I can

  211. do for my life, So I'm going to do it now.

  212. I am not saying don't use common sense. Don't stand

  213. in the middle of the road and say, God, unless

  214. you tell me to cross the road, I'm not going

  215. to cross this road. There's a place for common sense.

  216. You do have to get up and cross the road.

  217. You have to buy your groceries. But you have a

  218. plan in God's life. There might be a person at

  219. the supermarket and God wants you to go up to

  220. that person and say, Jesus loves you. That is your

  221. part in God's plan. There might be a person and

  222. your place of work. You might be working, and there

  223. might be a person that looks sad or distressed, and

  224. it's in God's plan for you to go up to

  225. that person and say, hey, you look sad today. I

  226. just want you to know that God loves you. You

  227. have the privilege of being a part of God's plan,

  228. but you need to pray if you want to be

  229. a part of God's plan. I think there are many

  230. Christians who are going to miss out on so many

  231. things that God has intended for you to do because

  232. you didn't ask him. If you asked him, he would

  233. have told you. How does God talk to you? God

  234. talks to you through his word. I've heard so many people,

  235. students come up to me and say, I want to

  236. know how to hear God. How do I hear God?

  237. How do I hear him? Does God even talk? Is

  238. it just my imagination? I don't know if God really talks. No, Church,

  239. God talks, Okay, he really does. Sometimes he even says

  240. things that you may find difficult to follow through, but

  241. He will give you grace and strength. But God talks?

  242. How does he talk? He talks through his word. Prayer

  243. is a mixture or a combination of you talking and

  244. reading the Word the Bible. God talks through his word.

  245. And so many times people go through life thinking, Oh

  246. my God, God is not talking to me. I can't

  247. hear him. Does he even talk? No? The Bible says,

  248. God is not deaf or mute like the idols. God

  249. can hear you when you ask a question. And God

  250. does talk to you, and he will answer you, and

  251. he talks through his word. So I'm going to encourage

  252. all of you this Christmas to take Christmas very personally.

  253. Jesus came for you, and it is not just an

  254. national holiday. His purpose was you. He was born for

  255. you and me, and in his birth the plan of

  256. his redemption to save you, to save me. But we

  257. need to be a bride that is preparing for Jesus.

  258. How can you prepare without prayer, without worship. I want

  259. us to go back home and actually reflect for some

  260. time and think about do we live a lifestyle of

  261. adoring and worshiping God? Do we ask God before we

  262. make decisions? Do we ask Him what his plan for

  263. us is? There is a prophecy that in Isaiah chapter

  264. thirty five, verses five and six, And today I'm going

  265. to speak that over us, and it says, then will

  266. the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears

  267. of the death unstopped, Then will the lamb lame leap

  268. like a deer. Sorry, it's all Christmasy, and I'm only

  269. thinking of the lamb, and the mute tongue shout for

  270. joy and streams in the desert. I'm going to repeat

  271. that again. Isaiah chapter thirty five was five to six.

  272. And will the eyes of the blind be opened? And

  273. I pray in Jesus name that every blind eye will

  274. be open today, every spiritual blindness, every physical blindness will

  275. be open in Jesus name, the ears of the deaf unstopped.

  276. I pray that today every deaf year be open in

  277. Jesus' name, every spiritual deafness and every physical deafness. The

  278. mute tongue shout for joy, every tongue that is bad

  279. and not able to worship God. Not just in church,

  280. but when we walk on the road, when we are

  281. at our workplace, when we're at the supermarket, when we

  282. look at the stars in the sky, when we look

  283. at the sunrise, when we look at the flowers, every

  284. mute tongue that is not worshiping God. I declare today

  285. in Jesus' name, that the mute tongue shop for joy

  286. and streams in the desert. I declare this over our church.

  287. I declare this over each and every person standing here today.

  288. I declare this over my family. I declare that every desert,

  289. every barrenness, every fruitlessness in our lives, every area, because

  290. the Bible says that if you do not bear fruit,

  291. the Lord's going to chop it off. The Bible says

  292. that if you do not bear fruit, it's going to

  293. be chopped off. So I pray that every dry, unproductive,

  294. fruitless area in your life you will see streams life

  295. of the Holy Spirit. So I'm going to pray before

  296. I end my message, Father, I pray that every desert

  297. will see streams flowing today and this year onwards. I

  298. pray that you will to dead situations. I pray Father

  299. that there will be big truths, there will be healing.

  300. There will be not just the birth and the celebration

  301. of your birth Jesus, but also there will be your

  302. church and a bride preparing for your coming. I pray

  303. that we will be a church that worships you in

  304. every way. I pray that we will know your heart, Jesus,

  305. that we will know what you want for us. For

  306. each and every day, Thank you for blessing us, Thank

  307. you for being born in Jesus Mighty name. We pray

  308. Amen
