Thank you for our brother a hand. Thank you for

all that you've placed in his heart to speak to us.

Help us to open our hearts to receive all that

You've got for us because we ask it in Jesus name.

Amen.

Good morning, Church. I hope you've had a good Christmas

and more or less looking forward to the new year.

What do the christ Christmas season give us? Christmas is

a time of giving when we all think what gifts

to buy and give to our family and friends. I

know we've been we've been busy buying, buying gabs preparing

for Christmas. But I'm here to tell you that there

is a better and a perfect gift that we have

been given by God the Father. And today I just

want us to look at the famous beth of all time,

as narrated in Matthew Gospel Chapter two, Versus one to three.

I will read that Matthew Gospel, chapter two Versus one

to three.

Thank you very much.

Let me just say, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem

in Judea during the time of King Herod, my girl

from the East came to Jerusalem and asked, where is

the one who has been born.

King of the Jews.

We saw his star when it rose, and have come

to worship him. Shall we go to Versus ninety eleven place,

Versus ninety eleven place. And after they and after they

had had the king, they went on their way, and

the star they had seen when it rose went ahead

of them until it stopped over the place where the

child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed

Verse eleven. On coming to the house, they saw the

child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and

worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him

with gifts of gold, frankenstein, frankincense.

And may.

I don't know what gives you had today, but or

what you had what gives you heard during the Christmas festivities.

But as we see in the scripture in Vess eleven

of the passage, not only that the wise men worshiped Jesus,

but they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts gold, frankincense,

and may each of these gifts represent something significant, of

something significant that they offer to Jesus. They were indeed

gifts fit for a king. So I'm just going to

just share what these each on. Each of these gifts represent.

The gold was given to Jesus as a token of

his royalty. Frankincense was a fragrant incense used in sacrificial

offerings because this represents Jesus's deity, and the mayor was

a perfume or ointment, which was a token of his

future suffering, his crucifixion, death and resurrection. I don't know

what gift you had, as I keep on asking, but

the Christmas season is a season that God, the Father

gave us a perfect gift. Those gifts that we've got,

they are just temporal. You use it and you would

abandon it, probably within the week or two. But the

Father saw it perfect that Jesus should come to save

us from a life of sin and death. When we

look at probably the gifts that we've had, or even

looking at the gifts that the wise men sent or

gave to Jesus, I have classified those gifts as.

In three categories.

That the wise men giving those gifts to Jesus knew exactly.

What they were giving him.

So there are three classifications for us to give or

receive perfect gifts. The first one is that the gift

that you are giving to people. I'm sure when you're

buying a gift for somebody you wanted to reflect what

we were giving to that person. And then as we

are buying that gift, you had a sense or knowledge

of the one who is receiving that gift. And the

third one that I have here is that the gift

should be of a nature and quality that would hold

its value forever and ever. And that's the gift that

Jesus represents. He is that perfect gift. I want us

to look at what Jesus, the gift that we've had,

that gift that we've just celebrated, Jesus, what he represents.

God gave mankind that perfect gift to Jesus because he

knew of man's failties. He knew that we are fallish

shot of his glory. And in John chapter three, verse sixteen,

that famous scripture says, for God so loved the world

that he gave his only and one son, that whoever

believes in him shall not perish, but have eaten our life.

I don't know what gift you you got, but I'm

here to tell you that the greatest gift that you

can't cherish is that Jesus that was born. He came

as that perfect gift to make our lives meaningful, to

make our lives worthy of his calling. I'm going to

look at John chapter fourteen, verse nine, where Jesus had

an encounter with Philip, and he said that anyone that

has seen me has seen in the Father. So, in

other words, Jesus pook what was on his father's mind,

jess God giving us that perfect gift. Jesus knew of

our needs, knew that humanity needed a savior, a deliverer,

a redeemer, a healer, and a friend. And we find

that in Jesus. I don't know what you're going through,

what your challenges have been in twenty twenty four, but

I'm here to tell you that if you want a

victorious life in twenty twenty five, we've got probably forty

eight hours that will be aushed into twenty twenty five.

Then I'm here to tell you that you have to

tap into this perfect gift, because that is the gift

that will see you through the challenges of twenty twenty five.

Humanity needed someone who was fully God, which is Jesus,

and fully man, which is Jesus. In Jesus, we experience

divinity meeting the needs of humanity because he came on

earth to experience our suffering, our pain, our shame, in adequacies,

and our weaknesses. I want us to turn to Isaac

fifty three, verses four and five. So Isaac fifty three,

verse four, it says, surely he took up up our

pain and bore us suffering. Yet we consider him punished

by God, stricken by him and afflicted. But he was

pierced for our transgressions. He was crashed for our iniquities.

The punishment that brought us peace was on him, and

by his wounds we are healed. That is what that

perfect gift date at Calvary for us. So, being fully God,

Jesus bore us sin. His deity enabled him to be

the sacrifice that bore the sin of the world along

with that along with the penalties of sickness, poverty, and

spiritual death. And being fully human allowed Jesus to identify

with what we go through and telling him to provide

for all our needs, our desires, and to care for

us in our hour of need. He became a substitute.

We owe a debt we could not pay, and Jesus

paid a debt. He did not owe Jesus' sacrificial giving

office you and I the freedom to live a sainless life.

The truth is, our greatest need was redemption, and God

sent a redeemer. God knew what we needed, and he

sent Jesus the perfect gift. As I said in the

in in earlier on about the sort of the criteria

of you buying a gift for someone, Jesus is the

same today, yesterday, and forever. He never changes. He holds

his value for all eternity. He never expires. There is

no use by date stamped on Jesus. He never goes

out of style. There is no need to update, upgrade,

or trade him in for a newer model. He is

the original. He is the original, and he is that

perfect gift. So if you are here today, I just

want to challenge you that in twenty twenty five, please

take note of this perfect gift because you would definitely

need him on the way.

And even though we don't deserve and could never end

this gift, God freely gave Jesus to all who will

receive him. I don't know whether you have Jesus in

your life. I don't know whether you've accepted Jesus in

your life. Well I have, and I know where I'm

going with him in twenty twenty five. So if you haven't,

you have to just seek him and you will find him.

In Jeremat. In Jeremath that the three verse three, he says,

call on to me, and I will show you great

and mighty things that you do not know of. So

if you do not know him, just seek him and

you'll find him. Christmas, which we've just celebrated, is a

season forgiven gifts. It's no wonder that we give gifts

to loved ones at this time, and Christmas is really

the celebrations of celebration of God's gifts to those he loves,

His perfect gift of Jesus to you and me, and

that gift I know, when we need healing, you can

call on him and you'll be there to bring healing

to your soul. When you need peace which the world

cannot give. I mean, you don't know. You don't need

to switch on your Telly to know that there's no

peace in this world. There's war, there's farming, there's fighting everywhere.

But I tell you you could. You could have chaos

around you. And if you have Jesus in your life,

if you have Jesus in your heart, you will know

that peace. It doesn't matter, It doesn't matter what chaos

is around you. You could be going through serieses of trauma,

of challenges. But he is the only one that perfect gift,

is the only one that can give you that peace

which the world cannot give. He comes to bring provision.

He is a god that provides in an hour of need.

We know what's going on with all that is going

on in terms of our cost of living. People are anxious,

people are desperate. People are just not in the place

to be able to even cope. And he is the source.

He is the power source. So connect into him in

twenty twenty five. Connect into him in twenty twenty five,

and he will be your provider because he's Jehovah Gyra,

our provider. Lastly, but not the least, he is Jehovah Shama.

He is here with us. You might not feel him,

you might not see him physically, but he is here

because he says that he will send his spirit, the comforter,

the Holy Spirit who will comfort you in times of need.

So as to the year twenty twenty four draws to

a close and we asher into twenty twenty five.

I will encourage you.

To draw closer to Jesus, that perfect gift which we've

just celebrated this Christmas season, and ask you journey through

the new year, let us pray. Father, we just want

to thank you for your word. Thank you for Jesus,

that perfect gift, who came to set us praying, who

came to bring healing, who came to bring revelation, who

came to bring deliverance, who came to provide. He is

the provider, He is the Rules of Sharon, the Ancient

of days. May we tap into that perfect gift that

you gave to us. Thank you Lord. As we journey

into twenty twenty five, may we look up to Jesus,

the author and finisher of our faith. In Jesus's name, Amen,
