13th September - Prophetic Conference - Clem Ferris -

We're gonna have a good day mostly, you know me.

I base out of a church in North Carolina in America.

We've been there amazingly out twenty five years and that's

when I launched out into full time traveling ministry. Before that,

we pastored a church down in the state of Florida

and we were there seventeen years where I met my

great mentors and our mutual friend Keith Hazel, who made

the mistake one time of saying, Hey, there's this couple

that lives in Egham, really close to London Heathrow, and

if you ever need a place to stay when you're

passing through, they'd love to have you. And I was like,

that sounds really convenient, Keith. And that's thirty some years ago,

and the food still can't get rid of me. But anyway,

and it's such a blessing. I call it my UK

base right here. So much is happening in the world

as we know, and I'm going to come at these

with some different angles, maybe than you were expecting. The

umbrella for this is basically, we want to hear from

God better more just clear. We need a clear voice

in a very disturbing world and so I want to

start in First Corinthians, chapter fourteen, just kind of a

here's what we're going to launch off this concept, which

I think describes exactly what we're going through. One Corinthians

fourteen and verse ten. I think we have it up here. Yeah,

I laughingly say, I think Paul wrote this when he

went to the third Heaven and God showed him the

internet and he just looked at what. I have no

words for this, but I do know this. He says.

There are doubtless many different languages or actually voices, voices,

phonas in the world, and none is without meaning, but

actually it's a double negative in the Greek is the

same word as none is a non voice. It's a phonos.

So there's many, many phonas, many voices, and none are

a non voice. Paul uses strange double negative there, what's

that meaning? He says, They're all trying to say something.

There's a lot of voices out there. You know what.

They're all saying. You need to listen to me, And

if you're on any kind of social media, God bless us.

All they're all saying, read my thing, listen to my

real listen to my voice. I'm the real voice, and

there's such competition now for our ears. So Paul says,

But if I do not know the meaning of the voice,

same word phony, and the word meaning is interesting, I

will be a foreigner to the speaker, and the speaker

a foreigner to me. Now, when he says I don't

know the meaning of the voice, that doesn't mean I

use Google Translate. Ah, Now I know what they're saying.

It's not translation. The word meaning is the word you

all know. It's the word for power, dounamus. It's the

same word when he said you shall receive power when

the Holy Spirit comes upon you. If I don't know

the power behind the voice, then it's like a foreigner speaking.

And that's what we need to be discerning. What is

the driving force behind the voices you are listening to.

And there's only one way to really capture that. The

power is the love of God. It's always at the

center of everything. God's soul loved the world. That's why

he sent Jesus right. The love of God. God in

his essence is love. It's not like he loves, no,

he is love. Therefore, when God speaks, his voice is

driven by love. Even everything that happened in the Old Testament.

God's redemptive heart to redeem man was the motivating factor

behind everything he's spoke in the Old Testament. Because you

look at the Old test of going, I don't see

a lot of love there. I mean, you're wiping out

armies and you're wiping out people, and there's judgment and

all kinds of stuff. Even in God's judgment, which is

always perfect and fair, it's his love that wins in

the end. So, really, love speaks. Love has a voice.

God's voice is love. And if we don't know the

power behind words, then Paul says, I'll be like a foreigner.

So if we're trying to share something with someone and

they don't sense love, he says, it's like a foreigner speaking.

So I'll just sneak in verse twelve. Do we put

it up there? I'll just sneak it in because it's

so good. So with yourselves. Since you are eager for

manifestations of the spirit, Wait, that's why we're here. We

want to know how we can manifest the presence of God.

We just sang the song I just want to speak

the name of Jesus. Were more to it than that,

but that's a good place to start if you're eager

for manifestations of the spirit. Strive to excel. And here's

a very important word. In building up the church. We

start in the community of the Saints. This is where

we practice. We want to excel in what speaking the

love language of God to build the church, which is y'all,

as we say in North Carolina, that's that's all, y'all's

that's us. We got to seek to build church building.

This chapter is I Love on qrintly twelve thirteen fourteen

is one teaching and it's all about people who speak

by the spirit. That's chapter twelve. Let's go to that

real quick. Thank you Dave for the freedom. This wasn't

even my notes, but let's let's go with it. Just

I want to just show you how Paul sets what

we call his thesis statement in chapter twelve, verses verse one,

now concerning spiritual and if you have your Bible, says

the word gifts in there. There's either a little number

by it or it's in italics, because the word gifts

is not there in the original Greek. The translators put

it in because that Paul's going to go there but

it's much broader when he starts now concerning spiritual and

the word spiritual is tone pneumaticone in the Greek, which

simply means spiritual people. It's in the masculine plural, which

can be that means inclusive of both genders. Paul see

where Paul's going goes now concerning spiritual people. And we

all think, I think I'm pretty spiritual. I mean, I

go to church and I read my Bible. I think

I'm pretty spiritual. I do not want you to be

uninformed or ignorant. You know that when you were pagans,

you were led astray to mute idols. However you were led.

Isn't that an interesting statement? He's talking about people that

are spiritual, and he says, here's the here's the opposite

of that. When you were pagans, you weren't spiritual. Why

you were being led astray? And here's what's interesting by

voiceless idols that we're mute is voiceless ponas. Can you

imagine being led astray by a voiceless object? You let

me say, chair, tell me what I'm supposed to be doing,

you know, lead me a voiceless idol and you know

that's that's still in the world today. There's voiceless idols.

And he says, but you were being led by them. Therefore,

I want you to understand that's the antidote to ignorance.

He says, you're ignorant. I don't want you to be ignorant.

Here's the antidote to being ignorant. I want you to

understand what no one watch watch his phrase speaking in

the spirit of God. That's love language. No one that's

speaking in the spirit of God. That means the spirit

of God, which is love, is your motive, is the

driving force. It's the power behind your words. They can't

say Jesus is a curse. God's love language would never

say Jesus is anathema. And no one can say Jesus

is Lord. Watch except by the Holy Spirit. You know,

when you get saved, you're making Jesus Lord. How do

we do that? We believe in our heart, confess with

our mouth, Jesus is Lord. That's not a statement you

can just pull off of a website. That's not a

statement you can say, repeat after me. We can get

people to repeat after us. You can get kids to

say anything. If you give them a treat. Right, all right, kids,

today we're all going to receive Jesus and when you

get done, we're going to pass out candy. Everybody that

says Jesus is Lord. Are you ready to bow your head?

Every eye close, say Jesus is the Lord. Jesus Lord. Okay,

how Sunday school today every kid got saved. Why I

heard them all say Jesus is Lord. But did they

say it by the Holy Spirit or did they say

it just out of their head? See, that's the whole

thing about the spirit world we live in. Juliett was

saying that last night, Right, it's more real. It's more

tangible than everything we're feeling touching with our outer shell.

The spirit world is more real. It's controlling the known

realm is the unseen realm. So we have to realize

how important the Holy Spirit. And then going back to

first Christians, go back when he says, so with yourself,

since you're ear for manifestations of the Spirit, we want

to manifest in the earth the work of the Holy Spirit.

And you know it's all tied up in his manifestations.

But he says, strive to excel and building up the

church Now this word building oicho domeo is Paul's theme.

The topic of this is all spiritual gifts. The topic

of chapter fourteen is actually all about prophecy. But Paul's

theme in Paul's heart comes through seven times. Just in

chapter fourteen of building the church, that the church would

be built, he uses this word to build same oicho domeo.

It's the same word Jesus said when he says I

will build my church. We're not talking about hammers and

nails and construction. We're talking about the word build means

to build according to a specific design or architecture. Every

church has a specific design, every human has a specific design.

And here's the best part about that. It means to

build with a focus on the process involved, not just

is it done yet. It's like, what's the process of building?

It's all about process. God's hugely into process. That's why

God takes his time and drives us all crazy. God,

what is taking so long? You're in the process. I'm

building something in you. You know, when you get a

prophetic word, we see God tells you what his intentions are.

Your potential is why because God sees the full blueprint.

He sees the finished product. Only God can do that

Isaiah forty six'. Ten god who knows the end from the,

beginning he knows the end. Already so here's the good

thing About. God he's not judging you in the middle

of your. Process everybody Say, amen Thank, god. Hallelujah we

do we're always judging. People and you, know you, know

there used to be a shirt and saying this, is you,

know under. Construction, No god's not done with me. Yet

and that's. True he's not done with you. Yet so

this idea of, building and you see how important voices

are when it comes to. Building because here's the. Thing

then you go to the fivefold, ministry apostle profit Of

age's pastor, Teacher, Jesus i'll build my. Church how are

you gonna do? It? Believing? What how can you leave

and still build your? Chears When he Ascended ephesians for,

says he gave gifts undo, Men he took the cloak

of his anointing christas torn into five pieces and handed

it out apostile profit advances pastor, teacher and their job

was to equip the. Saints it's their job to equip the. Saints,

okay for the work of the ministry for what the

building of the, body there's that same, Word so fivefold,

ministry we're just we're just building. People and that word

equipped huge caught, artismos the root word artismos where we

get the word. Artisan fivefold ministers are. Craftsmen what are they? Crafting?

Humans were crafting spiritual? Lives and kata is a prefix

put on that word kata. Artismals kata is a. Prefix

when you put it on a word like, that it

becomes a standard by which something must be. Judged so he,

said what's it's the standard of their. Craft it's this.

Book this is the standard for how we craft. Marriages

this is how we craft, Children it's how we craft our.

Finances every aspect of human life on earth for the

future has to be shaped and, crafted and this is

the standard by which we do. It and that's why

this is under, attack because the devil just wants to

absolutely Fight god's standard because he can't be one of.

Us what is man that you're mindful of? Him osama,

said you made them a little lower than the, Angels

but doesn't mean we're. Less we're not. Inferior we're just

a different. Breed we're the body Of christ and the

devil will never be the body Of. Christ so he's just, fighting, fighting.

Fighting so that brings us to what the. Battle AND

World it's full of, clutter verbal. Clutter SO i want

to take us into an an interesting. Direction go To Second,

thessalonians chapter. Two i'm going to hit this kind of

fast because we actually have almost two topics per, session

which is. Good we're going to get a lot in here.

Today Second thessalonians, two in verse, seven for the mystery

of lawlessness is already at. Work where does lawlessness come?

From the? Enemy anomia against the, laws against the rules Of.

God the mystery of lawlessness is already at. Work that we're.

Mystery it means the idea is of secret, right kind

of a secret, doctrine almost an, enigma and so lawlessness

is hidden from our. Eyes it's, hidden it's at. Work but,

see we don't recognize. It we have to learn to

recognize what voices are out. There is that the voice

Of god or is that the voice of the? World the?

Enemy the enemy has been around a long, time and

he knows how to push his agenda of lawlessness and

work it into the human sector so that we actually

end up rebelling Against. God we don't even know. It

it's a mystery at this, moment, Right so go To

First corinthians two in verse seven and. Eight we have

an antidote to the enemy's. Lawlessness First corinthians, two verse.

Seven but we impart a secret and hidden. Wisdom isn't that?

Cool we speak another, translation The New King james, says

we speak the wisdom Of god in a. Mystery the hidden,

wisdom Which god ordained before the, age is for our glory,

watch which none of the rulers of this age. Knew

for had they, known they would not have crucified The

lord Of. Glory that's. Amazing god's wisdom is will never be.

Outdone he knew exactly what the enemy would be. Doing

so this amazing wisdom comes from the. SPIRIT i JUST i,

mean read that one more. Time it's just like. Wow

we speak the wisdom Of god in a. Mystery so

there's the mystery of. Lawlessness but we have a CounterPunch to.

That we can. Speak this is all about the voice we're.

Speaking the wisdom Of god is a tone of his

love from which Is i'm. Sorry it was the hidden

wisdom That god ordained before the ages for our. Glory

and this whole thing backfired on the enemy because it

says if they had, known if Those jews and rulers

And herod And, pilot if they had, known they wouldn't

have even carried out the execution Of, jesus because that's

what saved. Humanity so here's the scary. Thing lawlessness exists

in the body Of. Christ don't look at me like

you're so. Holy we're all, victims, right there's a little

lawlessness in all of. This LIKE i don't want to do.

That but here's the. Thing it's a, mystery and it's

not easily. Perceived that's What paul. Saying it's at, work

it's in the. Church it's Hidden Apa. Grupto it's where

we get the word. Encrypted that's the word hidden means

to cause something to remain, unknown with the implication that is.

Concealed and it's, like you know, What god, Says, no

What i'm going to show you what's at work. Here

so the rulers of the, world they Crucified jesus because

they couldn't see into the mystery of. Redemption you, know

redemption was a. Mystery nobody knew How god was going

to pull it. Off they couldn't see the mystery of,

redemption and so the redemption started when they pulled off

the execution Of. Jesus it's like, wow mind. Blowing why

it was, Encrypted the plan of salvation was. Encrypted nobody,

knew even the, disciples like what Even peter, like, no

you're not going To. Jerusalem no you're not going to.

Die oh, YES i am the. Disciples so Is satan's

own actions that destroy? Them isn't that? Cool that's that's

The god we. Serve that's kind of like the. Victory

we should run a victory lap around the building and

come back. In it's like we, win, Right, Okay but

here's the. Thing lawlessness exists everywhere and it's hidden from.

View and it's our privilege to be able to find

out how to counter. Lawlessness and it starts right here with.

Us let me define. Lawlessness it's the breaching of the

government Of god and the rejecting watch within the human

heart first Of god's right to rule. Us that's why

no one can Say jesus Is lord, curios lord ruler

except when The Holy spirit has to come and put

that in our. Hearts you believe in your. Heart so

it's the breaching of the government Of god and the

rejecting in our. Heart first of, all the rejection starts

in our heart Of god's right to. Rule. Anomia iniquity

is often translated in equity in The King james, version

which means there's a violation of law. Somewhere take that

into the prophetic, realm prophetic. Lawlessness the aim of prophetic

lawlessness is to corrupt the voice Of god in the,

earth to corrupt. It just not extinguish, it just corrupt

it a little, Right and it's been seeded into the.

Church and that you, know we're so aware of it

now because of The internet and social media and, YouTube

and there's voices, Everywhere Like paul, said there's voices. Everywhere

so the rebellion is obscured by the appearance of an

accepted ministry looks like almost like a good. Ministry hey

watch this YouTube clip that looks pretty. Good we get little,

clips we get sound, bites but we don't get the whole,

message and we don't get the. Heart and you can't

always tell is there love in that. Voice where's the

love in that? Voice so this fundamentally opposes the advancing

of the. Kingdom and you can see how the enemy's

trying to see that in. There it looks like. MINISTRY

i accept it on face, value but there's seeds of

rebellion and lawlessness actually denies the kingdom and Opposes christ

who sits on the. Throne it opposes that throne ship

because the throne is not a, chair it's a seed of.

Authority it's Where he rules everything. From so this stuff's

embedded in the. Church it's in. Disguise we don't always see.

It you can't just watch a YouTube video and see.

It but, again good. News we have been given, wisdom say.

Wisdom we have been given wisdom to expose, it and

you can't expose it. Everywhere here's the, thing where Did paul?

Say paul, said this starts to work in your own,

community in the, church the ecclisse of the. Church you're

talking about, spheres but you start Where god's called you to.

Operate we can't be the police for The. Internet i'm

glad they need, it but we got to start in

our own. Community so prophetic, Lawlessness, watch how do you recognize.

It then it operates with a fascination of phenomena rather than.

PRINCIPLE i think that's up. Here yeah you. CAN i

The Holy spirit talk to you While i'm. Talking i'm

going to, talk but The Holy spirit's talking to. You

it exist because people are fascinated with. Phenomena we're fascinated

with signs and wonders and. Miracles some, people that's all

we care. About it's like and then if you, watch

you look at, Scripture god actually sends fault signs and

wonders to test our. Hearts do you like signs of?

Wonders do you like? Me do you love? Me so

they emphasize, Excuse they emphasize the external instead of the.

Internal so, second going back to second Thest, alone chapter,

two verse nine and ten says the coming of the

lawless one will be in. Accordance watch with the work Of.

Satan we almost like we almost like are afraid to

use that Word. Satan it's too. Creepy we're not That,

hey we're not that creepy. Spiritual we don't want to

scare anybody. Off the devil, does and he wants to.

Counterfeit the coming of the lawless one will be in

accordance with the work Of satan displayed in all kinds of. Counterfeit, miracles,

signs and. Wonders they're out, there, folks they're out. There

so don't be so hungry for a sign and a

wonder that you would actually buy into a fake. ONE

a couple of years, ago WHEN i was In South,

AFRICA i was talking with some pastors at one of

our breaks and they were telling me some amazing stories

about some false prophets in their nation and meetings and

things that they're actually. Seeing and people are going to

these meeting and there's false signs and wonders and people

are and it's always tied in with. Money, ah you

can't Serve god and Man jesus, said it's gonna be

one of the. Other so one, illustration there's this false

prophet that was having meetings and what he was, doing

he was seeding false miracles into the audience by handing

out one hundred dollars. BILL i come on a hundred dollars,

bill one hundred pound, notes let's say down in their.

Currency and that's, like you, know for some people's like

a whole month's, wages so much. Money and so he

would just say tonight your, night to night's, night a,

blessing and he'd go on and he'd just stop and, go,

oh just a, minute and he'd take a hundred pound

out and go over and just hand it to. Somebody

god said tonight your, night and then they people, yeah

and then he, preaching he wasn't even teaching the, word

just preaching away and then to go over and head

on another one. Hundred he'd do this five six times

in the, meeting kept handing out one hundred dollar. Bills

tonight's your, night he, Goes so tomorrow, night you gotta

come back because tomorrow night more of you're going to get.

It this is going to. Happen god just told. Me

god told me this is going to happen. Now so

if you want your miracle tomorrow, night we're going to

take an offering right, now and you put your seed

in and it's going to harvest tomorrow night. Somebody you're

going to get your one hundred dollars. Blessing and they

did this night after, night and then people were, like, yes,

see desperation causes you to. Compromise these people were so

desperate because they're so. Poor and that's the same. Thing

they're just abusing poor people with. Money and see he's

creating a false sense of, phenomena you gotta. Come then

they tell their friends you got to, come got to

give them the, offering because if you given the, offering

then you do that whole false. Teaching you, know not completely,

false but you know you do reeput your, sow but

not the way we want. It so we got to be.

Careful so what, Happens, well Then god brings pressure on the.

Church he brings pressure on, leaders And proverbs sixteen eleven

tells us. Why proverbs sixteen, eleven he, says a just

balance and scales are The. Lord's The lord owns the,

scales and The lord is the one that makes. Them

just how does he do? That, well he uses. Weights

and if you get a picture of the old fashioned,

scales you know two, pans and a little chain goes

up in the te. Bar when you would go to

the market and buy a, product you'd put your product

on one side and it would tip this, way and

then you put a bag on the other, side and

the merchant would put rocks in or. Stones this game

the weights and put pressure on the other side of

the scale until it came into. Balance and So god

looks at, us he looks at our, lives and he

watches when things start getting out of. Balance what Does god?

Do he puts. Pressure, pressure gets on the, church pressure and,

leaders pressure on our. Lives why Because he's just a

just balance and the scales belong to The, lord and

all the, rocks all the weights are his. Work so

sometimes when, pressure you start feeling weight and. Pressure you

can't rebuke the. Devil it's not the devil. Scales he

doesn't put weights in the. Bag god does when we're

out of. Balance when the prophetic ministry gets out of,

Balance god puts. Pressure and some of the semblances of,

Imbalance i'll just read them real. Quick first of, all

is what we call, subjectivity the subjectivity of prophetic. Ministry

it's subject because it's influenced by first of, all your personal,

feelings your own, taste your, opinions your own. Bias it

makes it very. Subjective, WELL i just feel like The lord's,

Saying well is he really saying or do you just

feel it? Right or you have such a strong opinion

about certain political issues that suddenly you want to turn

it into a prophecy becomes very. Subjective the only way

you can balance the subjectivity of a prophetic word is

with the objectivity of the written. Word this thing doesn't, change,

Right so that's how we have to be. Careful, okay

you can even have a bias about. Mortality we don't

look AT i don't know where this comes, from but,

anyway we don't look at death the right. Way We're.

Christians we have eternal life right. Now i'm not being,

Morbid i'm just saying we. Are even, more we're kind

of biased another. Way we look at life on Planet,

earth and spiritual bias can cause spiritual blindness and you're

not seeing. Accurately, secondly something else that brings kind of

a imbalance is the season we find ourselves In ecclesiastes

three gives twenty eight different seasons that we go through as.

Humans churches go through. It So eclesi as to, everything

there's a season say, everything pretty much, Everything and Then

solomon starts out with going a time to be born

and a time to. Die there we, Are that's how we.

Start there's a season for. Everything so when seasons shift

and there's some kind of a pivotal time period in our,

life got to be careful how we prophetically interpret it

if we don't Realize god's at, work and then we

try to prophesy our way out of a pressurized situation

When god's putting pressure on. Us when the right of

ecclesiastic he said to, everything there's a season and a

time to every. Purpose say. Purpose that word in The

hebrew means to bend or. Curve there's a time and

a season for every bending and curving in your, life

which comes from. Pressure how do you bend? Something you

put pressure on? It what's? That god's shaping? Us, See

he's shaping us. Internally we don't even, Realize oh there's.

Pressure have you built the? Devil i'm going To god,

Goes are you? Done? Okay hold, Still i'm bringing pressure

to bend you into. Shape you're out of, shape, Right

i'm getting you into the shape Of christ inside of.

You so seasons come and go. There this is this, thing like,

says it's called, sensationalism not. Cessationism cessation the theology Of

cessationianism means the gifts have. Ceased this is. SENSATIONAL i

got a sensational. Prophecy the LOUDER i, shout the more

anti ANTICS i. Have you, know it's the idea of using,

exciting shocking language that kind of stirs up excitement in the.

Crowd and it's what we call a nothing. Burger it's

all bun and no. Meat it's, like where's the where's the?

Meat it's, like so that comes from man's. Pride it's so.

Tempting we want to be, significant and so these things

happen whenever things are, happening which. Bleeds it's tied in

with spiritual climate of the. Day when, spiritual when things

are shifting in the spirit, realm we suddenly, think, oh

this is the. End how many times Every SEPTEMBER i

don't know if it happens over, here but Every september

Into october like nothing, happened and nobody's calling. Foul wait a,

minute what about it's the end of the. WORLD i

apocalyptic apocalyptic atmosphere can cause us to push into a

demand for eschatological prophecies that are. False it happened with

say the greatest non event In christian. History it just didn't.

up the end of the. World computers are going to blow,

up nothing's going to wear it so, anyway then, finally

the spirit of error is also what brings, imbalance and

that's right out Of First john chapter. Four i'm not

In First john four he, said, beloved don't believe every,

spirit but test the spirits to see if they're Of.

God hereby will know the spirit of truth and the

spirit of. Error that's all in The First john four one through,

six and that's the whole. Chunk i'm not going to

the test of. Overcoming in That john, says, greater receive

this in. Us you, know this is where we get

this overcoming, language and we, overcome, yes by the blood

of The, lamb the word of our. Testimony but it's

got to be the love Of god that keeps us

going because the rest Of First john, four All john

talks about is. Love, beloved let us love one. Another

love is Of. God love this. Love it's all about,

love and that's the power behind the. Voice that's how

you discern the spirit of truth and spirit of. Error

spirit of truth is full of the love Of. God

it's driven by the love Of. God it's one of

the tests how do we. Test we test, accountability test

the spirits that is the one. Speaking are they accountable to? Anybody?

Right or are they? Lawless? Right test the spirit behind?

It does it line up with the word Of? God

and most of, all DO i feel? Love DO i

feel loved when that voice comes at? Me or AM

i like? Going or are you feeling? Condemnation there is

no condemnation In. Christ you can have. Conviction conviction draws

you to The. Father condemnation makes you run the other.

Direction so last, Thing i'll just put this out quickly
