  1. To be with you this morning. I've got the singing

  2. lector this morning, so let me move it a bit closer.

  3. You know, sometimes we have plants and that God comes

  4. along and whispers in our ear and goes yes. But

  5. needed that for me this morning. There's a couple of things.

  6. As we were worshiping, I just felt the Father say,

  7. I've got some drain cleaner here today. To what do

  8. you use drain cleaner for? What do you use drain

  9. cleaner for? To Yeah, when your drains are blocked, to

  10. unblock them. And I don't think we're going to be

  11. pouring drain cleaner over people this morning. That wouldn't be

  12. healthy or wise. But I sense the father said there

  13. are people who have blocked tubes today. Since the Father

  14. said no, that might be in your ear, that might

  15. be in your sinuses, that might be in your gut.

  16. I don't know, but I sense the Father said, I

  17. want to I want to clear these out today. And

  18. so if that's you, if you've got some blocked tubes,

  19. and I'm standing I've got some block sinuses, but I

  20. don't think it's because of me. But if if you

  21. have some, I'm not going to ask you what it is.

  22. We'll leave that with God. But if you have some

  23. block tubes somewhere where something needs to flow it, would

  24. you stand. I'm gonna pray. I'm going to pray that

  25. God heals us, cleanses us, washes us. And at home,

  26. if you're listening to if that's you, would you stand

  27. to wherever you are, or if you want to stand

  28. or be half of someone. And maybe if you know

  29. someone who's got blocked tubes, and you could be an

  30. intercessor and stand in the gap. But I'm going to

  31. pray because I sense God wants to loosen some stuff

  32. up today so we can hear better, so we can

  33. smell better, so we can digest better, so we can

  34. walk better, so we can so our body can function better.

  35. And church, if you're not standing, that's that's fine. But

  36. would you reach out your hands to somebody who is standing?

  37. Would you reach out? Look? Look around, and we're going

  38. to pray. We're going to pray as church together. We're

  39. going to pray as church together. Father, your word says

  40. that you send your on Christ to pay the price

  41. for us in and for our sickness. And so Father,

  42. I am, and your word says by his stripes. We

  43. are healed, and so, Father God, I'm praying right now

  44. for a cleansing, for a washing, for a releasing. Father,

  45. would you unblock that which is blocked? Lord? Would you

  46. do it gently? But Lord? Would you do it? Lord?

  47. Would you release blockage? Would you release things that have

  48. been causing pain? Lord? Would you release things that have

  49. stopped taste and smell happening and even hearing happening? Lord,

  50. loosen stuff up? Lord God, we pray in Jesus's mighty name. Amen,

  51. shah back o, cuty shoe, curd ym sheep. Amen. Let's

  52. just sit for a moment. There's one other thing I

  53. wanted to do. I sense that there was a reason

  54. sometimes we don't hear because we're discouraged. And I just

  55. want to ask you, are you weary? I had a

  56. picture of people with their hands down, you know, when

  57. somebody tries to give you something and your hands are full,

  58. or that they're heavy and you can't lift your hands

  59. to take hold of something. I'm going to ask those

  60. people who and again I'm going to stand here. Who's

  61. who is heavy hearted? Heavy handed? You're just you know, discouraged.

  62. Would you stand where you are it's not a criticism,

  63. it's not it's just saying, Lord, this is where I'm

  64. at right now, not where I plan to start with

  65. his sermon at all. But if you're discouraged right now, well,

  66. and what I'm going to ask people to do, and

  67. I want to get permission from the people who are standing,

  68. but I'm going to ask some people to come and

  69. stand and lift that once one person's hands. So anybody

  70. who's standing right now, I'll give you just a few

  71. more minutes, a few more seconds to stand. So we've

  72. got all the people who are discouraged who need to

  73. be encouraged by I'm going to ask Church that we

  74. go and we find someone whose hand is down, who's

  75. standing up, and we lift up one of their hands.

  76. We lift up one of their hands. So if people

  77. need to move, that's fine, just to just lift up

  78. somebody's hand who's standing right now. Because we're not doing

  79. this alone. God helps us, but Church, we can help

  80. one another. So Father, I pray for a release of encouragement.

  81. I pray for a spirit of encouragement to fall upon

  82. us right now for Lord, for those who stood and said, Lord,

  83. I can't do it, I can't do it. I need encouragement. Father,

  84. I pray that hands would be lifted up right now,

  85. lift it up high. But it's not just a physical thing.

  86. It's a spiritual thing too. Lord, would you lift the

  87. heaviness under which people are? Would you blow away the

  88. dark clouds that are looming over certain people? Lord God Father,

  89. would you let the freshness of your presence flow through

  90. them and in them? Lord God Father, I pray that

  91. strength would return to heavy hands. Father. I pray that

  92. a skipping step would join to heavy feet. Father, I

  93. pray that a heart would be lifted and minds would

  94. be cleared. We pray that in your mighty name, let

  95. it be, Lord God. We pray in Jesus name. Shipkadi

  96. simac Amen. Okay, please take your seats now. I only

  97. did that because I just sense the Father said, I

  98. want people to hear this morning celebration service the end

  99. of November. We've been looking at making a difference, and

  100. today I want to keep something really simple. Heaven is

  101. not far away, and I just sensed that Heaven God

  102. wants to touch earth. We we we're heading towards advent.

  103. We're heading towards Emmanuel God with us. The promise of

  104. Christ coming to earth. God came down and touched earth.

  105. He sent his son. So let's open our hearts, let's

  106. open our minds to the expert dictations of what God

  107. wants to speak to us and through us. The greatest

  108. moment of Heaven ever touching earth. Maybe is echoed in

  109. John one fourteen. And the Word became flesh and dwelt

  110. among us. We have seen his glory. Glory is only

  111. the son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

  112. God didn't stand from a distance and say hello, I'm here.

  113. He didn't do that. He dwelt among us. He stepped

  114. into the dust and the struggle of this world, and

  115. he walked on this earth. People have been healed when

  116. Jesus was there. The oppressed was set free, outcasts were welcomed,

  117. sin was forgiven. Peter described Christ's ministry like this in Acts,

  118. Chapter ten, verse thirty eight. God anointed Jesus, the son

  119. of God of Nazareth, with the Holy Spirit and with power.

  120. He went to a ouur and doing good and healing

  121. all those who are under the power of the evil One.

  122. Because God was with him. Where Jesus is, there's an

  123. atmosphere of Heaven. Sometimes we touch it in church. Sometimes

  124. we touch it in our in our moments when we

  125. press in and we say, Lord, I need Geneira. Sometimes

  126. we feel a long way from God, and he says,

  127. take a step closer, Take a step closer, take a

  128. step closer, because who moved? Who moved? Do you know?

  129. Most of the time it's us. Christ lives in us,

  130. which means Heaven still has feet. Paul talked about putting

  131. on the armor and its feet shod with the readiness

  132. of the Gospel of Peace. Heaven touches us as his

  133. kingdom comes. We pray that in the Lord's prayer, your

  134. Kingdom come. Jesus didn't just talk about heaven. He declared

  135. the Kingdom. The Kingdom is at hand Matthew four, verse seventeen.

  136. Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven has come near, near,

  137. close at hand, that far away you can just reach out,

  138. and He's that close to you, as we know. In

  139. Matthew it talks about the Lord's pread. Jesus taught us

  140. to pray our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name,

  141. Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, where on earth

  142. as it is in heaven. This isn't a hopeful prayer.

  143. This is a commissioning prayer. This is God saying, come on,

  144. I want to be part of your world where God's

  145. kingdom is. Forgiveness replaces resentment. Are you any good at forgiving?

  146. I'm not. Sometimes somebody pulls out in front of me.

  147. Peace replaces fear, Justice overturns oppression. Hope arises in despair.

  148. The lost are found. The values of Heaven entrupt our world,

  149. interrupt our lives, entrupt this earth. Heaven touches earth through

  150. you and me, Here's people. Paul reveals the kingdom of

  151. God in Colossians one twenty seven. He says, Christ, in you,

  152. the hope of glory carries led us to a place

  153. this morning in worship, say hope, hope, hope, hope. It

  154. is something we need more of. Has anybody in the

  155. room got enough hope? Have you got a bank account

  156. ful of hope that you could lend me some or

  157. lend to somebody else? You know, we all need hope.

  158. Christ means heaven at work through you. We carry Heaven

  159. into our classrooms, into the boardroom, into kitchens, into zoom calls,

  160. into coffee shops, into difficult conversations. Maybe even into unexpected interruptions.

  161. Let this scripture. Let me speak this scripture over you.

  162. In two Corinthians five twenty, we are therefore Christ's ambassadors,

  163. as though God were making his appeal through us. We

  164. don't represent ourselves, we represent him. Heaven touches earth. When

  165. we choose to live life differently. The semon on the

  166. mount tells us this as we live out our daily lives.

  167. In Matthew five fourteen to sixteen, you are the lights

  168. of the world. A town built on a hill cannot

  169. be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp but or

  170. put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on

  171. a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the

  172. same way. So let your light shine before others, that

  173. they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father

  174. in heaven. I'd like to make some observations about this

  175. light is visible. You see it. You can't ignore light it.

  176. If you ever woke, if you woke up last night

  177. in the middle and you wanted to maybe go to

  178. another room or do something, you might have turned a

  179. light on, or you might have fumbled through your toes,

  180. or you might have guessed I know where everything is.

  181. For those parents, in the room. Who've ever wrestled with

  182. lego on the floor in unexpected places. It's a painful

  183. thing to stand on, but light shines through us. Light

  184. is light is visible, but light is also loud. You

  185. ever sat in darkness for a while. I've told many

  186. stories about sitting in darkness before now I'm not going

  187. to repeat those. But when somebody turns the light on,

  188. we're startled as our our eyes get adjusted to the brightness,

  189. and sometimes it takes a while, but Heaven shines through

  190. when we show kindness to others, when we extend forgiveness

  191. to our friends and to those who need forgiving, when

  192. we serve gently and quietly, when we hold our line

  193. and we're men and women of integrity, when we listen

  194. with empathy, when we walk humbly. I want to say

  195. thank you to all of you, those listening online, those

  196. in the room. I just want to day to say,

  197. thank you for doing what you do, thank you for

  198. saying what you say. Thank you for being the encourager,

  199. thank you for being the helping hand. Thank you for

  200. being the caring mum or dad. Thank you for being

  201. who you've called God's called you to be speaking truth

  202. graciously listening with empathy our lives. Just give a small

  203. glimpse of what heaven is like. And I want more,

  204. don't you? Don't we want a little bit more peace

  205. in our world. Wouldn't you like a little bit more

  206. hope in your life? Wouldn't you like to be encouraged

  207. more regularly? Heaven touches Earth through us, but also through

  208. God's Holy Spirit. Pentecost is the turning point when Heaven

  209. no longer stays the Holy Spirit no longer stays in Heaven,

  210. but visits us in his presence. Acts Chapter two, verses

  211. one to four. When the day of Pentecost derived, they

  212. were all together in one place, and suddenly there was

  213. a heavenly sound with a mighty rushing wind, and it

  214. filled the entire house where they were sitting, and divided

  215. tongues of fire appeared on them and rested on each

  216. one of them, and they were filled with the Holy Spirit.

  217. The Holy Spirit empowers us to be people who will

  218. do extraordinary things. Let me break that word down. Extra

  219. ordinary thing things. Okay, sometimes they're ordinary things, but they're

  220. done in amazing ways. Sometimes somebody will know something they

  221. shouldn't know because God's revealed it to them through a

  222. gift of prophecy or a word of knowledge. Sometimes a

  223. gift of healing will be released, and something that shouldn't

  224. happen in the natural happens because it's super natural. Heaven

  225. breaks in when we welcome the Holy Spirit. So do

  226. we want Heaven to touch earth today? Do we want

  227. Heaven to touch earth in this place? Do you want

  228. Heaven to touch your workplace, your home, your street, your family.

  229. People ask these kind of questions because our community is

  230. filled with people. Maybe some of you are asking us

  231. these questions. Is their hope for me? Does anybody even

  232. notice me? I'm sure that's true for some people in

  233. the room, for some people listening, sometimes you feel nobody

  234. even notices you or notices the work that you do.

  235. There's some beautiful videos and I thought I was going

  236. to show one of them, and I thought, no, it

  237. will probably spoil the spirit of the moment. But lots

  238. of videos on YouTube of when mum doesn't do what

  239. mum did, or dad doesn't do what dad did, and

  240. the child comes home and the place is a mess

  241. and there's no dinner on the table, and the bed

  242. isn't made, and all those kind of things that we

  243. do as parents or as family, and the child goes

  244. what's going on? They hadn't noticed the things that mum, dad, granddad, grandma,

  245. aunty uncle did for them, And we can so easily

  246. miss the things that other people do. Some people are

  247. living with pain where the physical pain, emotional pain, spiritual pain,

  248. and they want to understand some of the purpose of that.

  249. And some of us are even crying out, God, do

  250. you even care? Well? How can we answer these questions?

  251. How can we respond to them? Luke four eighteen and

  252. nineteen gives us a glimpse. The spirit of the Lord

  253. is upon me. This is but I want to declare

  254. this over us. So let me read it first, and

  255. then we're going to the spirit of the Lord is

  256. upon me because he's anointed me to proclaim good news

  257. to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty

  258. to the captives and the recovering of sights of the blind,

  259. to set at liberty those who are oppressed, and to

  260. proclaim the year of the Lord's favor. Now, I want

  261. us to read that again together, and you're going to

  262. read it for you, because Heaven touches Earth through you

  263. and me as we are open to His Holy spirit,

  264. and we do what the Father asked us to do.

  265. And this is just a great echo of that. So

  266. let's read that together. The spirit of the Lord is

  267. on me because he has anointed me to proclaim good

  268. news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim

  269. freedom for the prisoners, and recovery of sight for the blind,

  270. to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of

  271. the Lord's favor. Anybody wants some of the Lord's favor.

  272. We're heading towards the end of twenty to twenty five,

  273. We're heading towards twenty twenty six. I'm not waiting for revival.

  274. I want to be a carrier of revival. Do you

  275. Heaven touching earth every day, Heaven touching earth in unexpected places,

  276. Hope coming where there is no hope, Light coming where

  277. there is darkness. And so I want to close with

  278. this kind of thought. And it's in Revelation twenty one,

  279. verses three to five. It says this, behold, the dwelling

  280. place of God is with man. He will dwell with them,

  281. and they will be his people. He will wait away

  282. every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no

  283. more neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain

  284. anymore a glimpse of heaven. Heaven will ultimately fill this earth,

  285. a new heaven and a new earth. That's the promise

  286. in the word. God's plan is not just to us,

  287. it's through us. And so as we pray the Lord's prayer,

  288. your Kingdom come, your will be done, I want to

  289. ask the question, where your kingdom come, your will be done?

  290. And I'm going to ask you to fill it in

  291. for yourself. I had to go at doing this, But

  292. your kingdom come, your will be done? Where would you

  293. just pause? I'm going to allow sixty seconds of silence

  294. for you to think about what you might put in there.

  295. Your Kingdom come and your will be done. And so

  296. I'm going to pray a prayer and I'm going to

  297. leave some space for you to say whatever you want

  298. to say. But Lord, I pray that today would be

  299. a new season, a new step, a new step in

  300. the journey, Lord, God of Heaven, touching us, in us

  301. and through us. Father, I pray that you'd fill us

  302. with your spirit today. But Father God, I pray that Lord,

  303. you'd help heaven to touch earth. Lord, help us to

  304. be your hands and your feet. Help us to be

  305. your ears and your eyes. Help us to be your

  306. heart and your touch. Help us to be your voice

  307. in times of choirt, in times still, but also in

  308. times of need. Help us to be your provider. Lord,

  309. we pray, and let your kingdom come, and your will

  310. be done in these places that we name before you. Now.

  311. And so we say, Lord, let your kingdom come and

  312. your will be done in Running me Christian Fellowship, in Egham,

  313. in Running Mead, in Surrey, in the United Kingdom. Let

  314. your kingdom come, and your will be done. In our

  315. homes and in our workplaces. Let your kingdom come, and

  316. your will be done in our hearts and in our actions.

  317. Let your kingdom come, and your will be done in

  318. our lives and in our conversations. Let your kingdom come,

  319. and your will be done on earth as it is

  320. in heaven. Hear us. We pray, O God, in Jesus' name. Amen,
