  1. Tenacity in you Father. I pray that Lord, as she's prepared,

  2. as you've son seen in her heart, Lord, it would

  3. be scattered into our lives, that our hearts and ears

  4. be open and ready in Jesus' name.

  5. Amen, Praise God. I received that pastor day that was good.

  6. Are you ready? This is celebration Sunday? Come on, not

  7. refine your face? All right? Hallelujah? Praise God.

  8. Is always a joy, always a joy to bring the

  9. message of the Lord.

  10. Amen.

  11. So this is our last Sunday, isn't it? For the

  12. Foundation series? The basics of new life. You know, you

  13. can't have a new life if you don't have the

  14. right tools.

  15. It can't be a new creation without the right equipment.

  16. And God is so good because it's given us too

  17. one wonderful things.

  18. He's given us a lot of things.

  19. I don't know if you were here when we talk

  20. about the spiritual toolkit.

  21. There's so many things that God gave us.

  22. But these two main ingredients that will help us carry

  23. through our lives as we navigate our new life.

  24. Amen.

  25. That is faith and the Word of God, two very

  26. important things. And if you master this two, you're on

  27. your way to the victorious, supernatural, abundant life the Jesus

  28. gave for you, for me, for all of us.

  29. Amen. Amen, Faith and the Word.

  30. Are joined together. You cannot take them apart from each other.

  31. They are directly linked to each other. The Word gives

  32. power and authority, and faith activates that power and authority.

  33. Amen. There is already power and authority.

  34. In the world of God, but we need to execute

  35. that power and authority.

  36. It's like a car and a driver. Right.

  37. The car has everything it has in order to make

  38. the journey. You've got the engine, you've got the fuel,

  39. you've got the battery already already to take you somewhere.

  40. But it doesn't run without the driver. Man.

  41. The driver is the one who makes and starts the

  42. car and makes it move and goes to your destination.

  43. Do you agree? Allelujah?

  44. So the car is the Word and the driver is faith.

  45. Both are necessary to reach the destination. They're both necessary.

  46. You need both of them. Without the driver, the car

  47. won't go anyware. It's not that it's.

  48. Not useless, but it's just not being utilized. You still

  49. got the car and it's perfect, but it's not being

  50. utilized Without the car. On the other hand, where will

  51. you go? The driver has no means to make the journey.

  52. Of course you can walk, but it might not take

  53. you very far, so you only go along a short way.

  54. So do you see? We need both.

  55. We need faith and the Word of God. Faith is

  56. the beginning of life. It is the beginning of our

  57. new life when we become born again. By the way,

  58. if you haven't been saved, or if you haven't accepted

  59. the Lord personally.

  60. In your life, let us know. And it's important.

  61. It's important because this is the start a new life.

  62. We need to have this new life that God wants

  63. for us.

  64. We all know that faith is essential for being born again. Right.

  65. Ephicients two, verses eight to nine says, for by grace,

  66. you have been saved through faith.

  67. It's not what you do. It's not how good you are.

  68. It's not how much you work, or it's not how

  69. much you give to other people. It's not only that

  70. these are good things.

  71. By the way, these are good things, but it's not

  72. enough to give you salvation.

  73. We need grace, and grace works through faith. Amen. We

  74. need to believe that. And the Bible's definition.

  75. Of faith is in Hebrews eleven, verse one. We probably

  76. know all this already. Faith shows the reality of what

  77. we hope for. It is the evidence of things we

  78. cannot see. Now this is important, Okay, this is important.

  79. Faith has three components.

  80. What is number one? We must have hope. This is

  81. where it starts. Amen. If you don't hope for anything,

  82. then you.

  83. Need faith probably, And then there's the invisible part. Ooh,

  84. this is what's hard, isn't it When you cannot see,

  85. when you're uncertain, when you don't know. But this is

  86. essential part of faith. Without it, you don't need faith.

  87. If you see something already, do you need faith for that?

  88. You don't. If you have it already, do you need

  89. faith for that? No, you don't. Right.

  90. It is when you don't have something and then you

  91. cannot even see.

  92. You don't even know.

  93. When it's coming, what's going to be in the future.

  94. So this invisible part is an essential component of faith.

  95. So you've got hope, you've got.

  96. The invisible, and then you've got the evidence.

  97. Whoa.

  98. This is the best part, isn't it When your hope

  99. suddenly manifests and becomes an evidence and the substance of

  100. what you're hoping for.

  101. It's now reality.

  102. Okay, So if you think of a line between hope

  103. and the evidence as a straight line, these are the

  104. two points. The starting point is your hope when you're

  105. wanting something, you're hoping for something, and the end point

  106. is the evidence or the substance or the demonstration or

  107. the fulfillment of what you're hoping for. That line between

  108. the two end points, the invisible pie up, what you

  109. call space, is where faith resides. This is where faith resides.

  110. Faith resides in the waiting. It lives there, and that

  111. is where we need to be mindful of. And this

  112. is where the battle begins. Amen, This space between these

  113. two points is where the battle begins.

  114. Most of us, some of us.

  115. And perhaps all of us at some point could not

  116. endure that space, and we give up, and we never

  117. see the evidence of what we hope for. We just

  118. grow weary, we get tired because it's just too long.

  119. Lord, it's just too long. But we need to endure.

  120. We need to endure, be steadfast, be firm, stay in

  121. that space with expectation, with hope, because God will see

  122. us through.

  123. And that is where the other component is.

  124. Amen, there is a partnership between us and God.

  125. God is not going.

  126. To allow us to be helpless, but He has a

  127. partnership with us.

  128. Where is that partnership?

  129. God will equip us.

  130. With faith.

  131. So that we can endure that space where we have

  132. to be at. He gave each one a measure of faith.

  133. It's like a deposit. God puts a deposit in us

  134. so that we have something to start with. Isn't it good?

  135. It's not completely empty everyone. The Bible says in Romans

  136. twelve three. God has dealt with us a measure of faith, so.

  137. We all have that. No one can say I don't

  138. have faith. We do.

  139. We have, But God wants us to partner with him.

  140. Our faith is meant to grow. It's meant to grow.

  141. God cannot make it grow. He gave us a deposit already, Amen,

  142. a down payment. We need to cultivate that faith. And

  143. how do we cultivate that? This is where our part

  144. comes in. Okay, this is our part, and we need

  145. to improve, cultivate, develop, add to what.

  146. God has given us.

  147. Faith grows when we continually hear, meditate, and apply.

  148. The word of God. Romans ten seventeen. Amen. Faith comes

  149. from hearing and hearing the word of God. Amen. So

  150. if you want to cultivate that faith. You have to

  151. hear always the word of God. It's that simple. That's

  152. where it comes from.

  153. Where it changes, it becomes bigger, stronger, and deeper.

  154. And faith is perfected when.

  155. Our eyes remain on Jesus Hebrews twelve two. Jesus is

  156. the one who initiates and perfects our faith.

  157. Amen. The moment we take our eyes.

  158. Off of Jesus, our faith begins to weaken. Right, it goes,

  159. it dies. We already saw what happened to Peter when

  160. he was walking on water. Right, as long as he

  161. his eyes were fixed on Jesus, he was doing the impossible.

  162. But the moment he looked at the waves and the wind,

  163. he began to sink.

  164. That's the same thing. That's the same thing.

  165. Faith cannot survive where fear dominates, and fear comes when

  166. we take our eyes off of Jesus. So this is

  167. where the word comes in. Word is the foundation of

  168. our faith. Amen, How do we make Jesus tangible in

  169. our everyday lives? You can't see Jesus. Yes, you can

  170. talk to him, but he's not gonna talk to you back.

  171. He does in a small, still voice. But how do

  172. we make him tangible.

  173. Through the word.

  174. Through the word John one, verse verses one to fourteen,

  175. the word became flesh.

  176. In the beginning, the word was, the word was there.

  177. Then the word was with God, and the word became flesh.

  178. We all know who that is. Amen. So the Word

  179. of God is Jesus himself.

  180. Do we, I mean, can we even fathom that that

  181. the Word is Jesus himself, that when we read it

  182. we're talking and speaking and hearing and being instructed by

  183. Jesus himself. So the best way to know Jesus is

  184. through the Word.

  185. Through the word.

  186. There's no other way. Of course, there are things that

  187. you could do, like you know, but the main thing

  188. is through the world, because you're talking to him directly.

  189. He is the one we do not need to physically

  190. see him because he speaks to us through his word.

  191. This is why if we truly want to know Jesus,

  192. we must read the Bible.

  193. That's why it's there.

  194. It's so beautiful, it's so amazing, it's like a whole.

  195. When I first read the Bible, it was like a

  196. whole new universe open to.

  197. Me that I never knew about. That was the impact

  198. that had on me.

  199. Without the revelation and the understanding that Jesus and the

  200. Word are one.

  201. He will never.

  202. Take prominence in our lives. He will always take a

  203. back seat in our everyday life, in our schedules, in

  204. our confusions, in our worries, in our circumstances.

  205. The Word will always be the last one in our

  206. lineup of things to do.

  207. But if we can understand that Jesus is the Word,

  208. then he will take that first place in your heart

  209. and in your day. Without the knowledge of scriptures, our

  210. faith will never be strong.

  211. Enough to endure trials.

  212. It will never be Jesus rebuke the statuses because they

  213. lack understanding of both scripture and God's power.

  214. Matthew twenty two, Verse two nine.

  215. Jesus said, you Satases, you priest, You know who who

  216. knows everything about the law. You do not know the

  217. scriptures and the power of God. Why did he say

  218. scripture first and not power of God? Because the power

  219. of God is in the scriptures.

  220. Hey, man, it is in the scripture.

  221. There is a direct connection between knowing the Word and

  222. the power of God. If you knew the Word, you

  223. have the power of God working in you.

  224. Isn't that amazing?

  225. Isn't that something that we should really look forward to

  226. and just really utilize the power. Don't let the car

  227. sit there idly with everything in it, Drive it, Drive it.

  228. You know. In the natural world, the word is a

  229. written contract.

  230. Right. The word of God's is the guarantee that he

  231. will do exactly what he says. You know, in this

  232. world everything is about written contracts.

  233. Don't you agree you read a house, you need a disagreement.

  234. You buy a house, you need a purchase agreement. You

  235. have a service, you get a service provider. Everything is

  236. a written contract. Why Because a written contract.

  237. Gives you the proof and the legal assurance for both

  238. parties to perform their duties. The word is our legal

  239. contract with God. It is Heaven's guarantee to us. Amen,

  240. can you get that? It is our guarantee that we

  241. can present to God. Look, you said this, you said

  242. you will do this, You said you.

  243. Will give me this, you said you will perform this.

  244. It is the Heaven's guarantee to us.

  245. It is the proof of his promises, backed by his

  246. character and nature. And because God cannot lie, his word

  247. cannot fail. If I ask pastor Dave, Pastor Dave, can

  248. you lend me five hundred pounds?

  249. Please? Can you lend me five hundred pastor? And Pastor

  250. Dave said, of course I can. Of course I can't.

  251. Oh, I'm gonna start rejoicing even if he hasn't given

  252. the money yet.

  253. Why Why is that?

  254. Because I know him, because I know his character, I

  255. know he's a man of God, and I can trust him.

  256. I'm gonna start rejoicing the moment he says that, even

  257. if he hasn't given me the money yet, because I

  258. trust him, I know his nature, I know his character.

  259. I know he's a man of God, and he's just

  260. a man.

  261. But we got himself.

  262. When God says I will provide for you, I will

  263. give you everything you need. You can ask me for

  264. anything you wish, and you shall have it. Sometimes we

  265. don't believe it. If I say I will heal you

  266. by my stripes, you are healed.

  267. Sometimes we doubt it. But it's God himself.

  268. And yet with a man, we can trust somebody for

  269. his word.

  270. Amen, So we must trust God.

  271. This is why the word will never return void and empty.

  272. I say fifty five to eleven, my word goes out

  273. from my mouth. It will never return empty. It will

  274. always accomplish what He intended it to do.

  275. For our lives.

  276. It will always do that, no matter what happens, it

  277. will always do that because God watches over his word

  278. to perform it. He watches every word, and he makes

  279. sure he's gonna do it, and he will.

  280. And he will.

  281. But we need to say to sit in that waiting

  282. period when we don't see things happen yet, and when

  283. we have the Word, we have the guarantee that heaven

  284. will perform. Heaven will perform. So we have faith and

  285. the word. So if we combine them together, what does

  286. it really mean. It means we must have faith in

  287. the Word.

  288. That's what it means. We must have faith in the Word.

  289. Jesus fought the devil and one in Matthew, for remember

  290. the temptation. Three times the devil tempted him, and three

  291. times he.

  292. Answered him in scriptures.

  293. Now, when I was thinking about this, yes, it's said

  294. in the Bible in Matthew that Jesus answered him in

  295. the scripture. But I said, okay, let me just check

  296. if that scripture that Jesus said is really in the Bible.

  297. Of course it is right, But I just wanted to

  298. see physically because they didn't have bibles. Then they didn't

  299. have bibles then, so I said, where is this when

  300. Jesus said, man shall not live by bread alone, but

  301. by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

  302. Because that's what his first answer. Do you know where

  303. that was that exact code. It was in Deuteronomy, Deuteronomy

  304. chapters eight. So the rest of them are there really

  305. in Deuteronomy Praise God.

  306. Jesus cannot lie.

  307. And then in the third temptation, this is what's interesting, guys,

  308. Jesus said to them, okay, the third one. You know,

  309. Jesus just got tired of the devil tempting him, so

  310. he said, oh, away.

  311. From me, sayan, he just got tired.

  312. Of his temptation, for it is written you shall worship

  313. the Lord your God.

  314. And you know what happened. The devil left him. That's

  315. what we need to say. Away from Satan, you know

  316. we should say that. In other translation, it says get

  317. out of here, Satan.

  318. Jesus said that, you know, when the enemy invades our lives,

  319. fight with the word of God and.

  320. He will leave us.

  321. Don't let him oppress you, don't let him torment you.

  322. We have an arsenal of weapons. We have the sword

  323. of the Spirit. According to Ephesian six.

  324. These are all the words of God. This is what

  325. we fight with.

  326. Imagine a stranger coming to your house. Imagine a stranger

  327. coming to your house and saying, knack knack, I want

  328. to live here, bringing all the things inside your house.

  329. What's going on? Who are you? You have no right

  330. to live here. He has no authority over our lives.

  331. What are we gonna do.

  332. We need to fight him, get him out of our lives,

  333. and we do it with the sword of the Spirit,

  334. the word of God. Jesus came to give us life,

  335. life that is overflowing, life that is full and even overflowing.

  336. But the devil doesn't want us to have that kind

  337. of life. So we must fight him. We must fight

  338. him that only, and he can only be driven away

  339. by the word of God. So know the word and

  340. learn to fight back. We are in a spiritual battle.

  341. We are not in a playground.

  342. Every day.

  343. There's a battle going on in our lives, and we

  344. must fight.

  345. We're not fighting with flesh and blood.

  346. You're not fighting with your ball, You're not fighting with

  347. your husband or wife. You're not fighting with your children.

  348. You're not fighting with your whoever, even your friends, your family.

  349. You're fighting with spiritual forces of darkness, and we must

  350. learn to fight.

  351. Amen. So faith in the world is what we need

  352. to have. The Word gives God's.

  353. Promise, and faith, faith lays hold of that promise until

  354. it becomes a reality. The authority is in the world

  355. and the movement is in faith. That's how we move

  356. the authority.

  357. Allelujah.

  358. The word will give us direction, but faith will give

  359. us demonstration. Faith does not work independently from the word.

  360. True Biblical faith is faith in what God says.

  361. It's faith in what God says, not when.

  362. With with what our neighbor says, not with some other

  363. people says. It's in the word of God. Whatever God says,

  364. that is what we believe. Don't trust the bad report.

  365. Trust the good report of God. Sometimes we trust, we

  366. give trust more to the bad report, more than the

  367. good report.

  368. We shouldn't do that.

  369. Keep your eyes on Jesus through his word, through his word,

  370. and in time the evidence will appear, the evidence of

  371. our faith. Since becoming born again, my life has always

  372. been ruled by words because this is how it is

  373. the only way I know to overcome every trial, every

  374. challenge in my life. That's the only way I cannot

  375. fight anywhere anyway else. I share to you before that

  376. I survived ninety eleven because of one word of God

  377. Proverbs three five to six. That word brought me to safety,

  378. carried me through that horrible time. My prayer lists are

  379. always supported with scriptures. If I ask for something, I

  380. need to back it up with the word of God

  381. because that's my guarantee from God that he will do it.

  382. You know, in the Bible, I'm gonna tell you in John.

  383. There are three chapters there where God says you can

  384. ask for anything you wish.

  385. It's like a blank check. God gave us a blank check.

  386. I'm not gonna tell you which chapters. You have to

  387. find that out.

  388. Three chapters he said the same thing, and when he

  389. repeats it three times, that means he's serious. He wants

  390. us to know this, and he wants us to use

  391. this every day. Before I face the world, I declare

  392. the Word of God over my life.

  393. I declare the Word of God over my life. It

  394. becomes my spiritual armor, my protection, so.

  395. That the fiery darts of the enemy will not get

  396. through me, I declare it over my life. You know,

  397. people can believe my age when I tell them why,

  398. because every day I say, even in old age, I

  399. will still produce fruit. I will remain vital and green.

  400. I shall not die before my time. I will live

  401. and not die. I will have a long and satisfying life.

  402. I will be like a tree planted near the water,

  403. whose sleeves stay green, always bearing fruits. These are not

  404. my words. These are the word of God. I can

  405. give you all the verses that pertain to it.

  406. That is the power of the word of God.

  407. When I move to London from the US, completely out

  408. of my comfort zone, completely out of my comfort zone,

  409. I don't have any support system here, but I ask

  410. the Lord to work here. So he granted my request

  411. that the Book of chand the one I told you.

  412. So, I said.

  413. But then I needed to know if this is really

  414. the right one for me. So Lord, please confirm, confirm

  415. for me that this is your will, that I would

  416. move to a place where I have no support system

  417. at all, even though I wanted it and you gave

  418. it to me. I sought a word from God and

  419. he confirmed it to me. In Zachariah ten verse twelve

  420. in the NLT version, Now is.

  421. That a word or what? Amen? That was thirteen years ago.

  422. God cannot be wrong when you ask a word and

  423. you get it, stand on that word. As I was reflecting, Lord,

  424. I don't want to be there, and I don't want

  425. to just give them you know stuff.

  426. I don't want to just I don't want it to

  427. come from me.

  428. Let it come from you. And he gave me a word.

  429. Matthew ten verse twenty, hallelujah.

  430. Do you get it? When you ask the Lord? He

  431. responds and he gives you a word.

  432. And you stand on that word no matter how long

  433. it will take you to see the evidence. You stand

  434. on it like your delight depended on it, and you

  435. will see the evidence, the substance, the manifestation, the demonstration

  436. of your faith.

  437. Amen.

  438. Hallelujah, Thank you Lord, and Jesus name me pray.

  439. Amen,
