  3. Good morning, h So, lesson from Daniel. Today, We're gonna

  4. explore a number of scriptures. The Holy Spirit wants to

  5. get it to a certain point before the end of

  6. the meeting. So I'll pray and then we'll crack the Jesus.

  7. I think it you are here by your spirit, h

  8. these nighting people to hear what the Holy Spirit is

  9. saying to us today, that we can all receive what

  10. you want us to receive in Jesus name. Amen. So

  11. four young men were taken from Judah to Babylam. We

  12. read in the book of Daniel. The chief of the

  13. Eunuchs or Eunuchs gave them new names. Daniel, whose name

  14. means God is Judge is my judge, became beltaz Our

  15. Hanayah God has favored became Shadrak. Michelle, whose name was

  16. who is what God is, became Meshak, and Asare, whose

  17. name was Jehovah has helped, became a Begnigir. They changed

  18. their names in attempt that they lose their identity, but

  19. in these individuals lives, that didn't work because their hearts

  20. were rooted and planted on the word of God. Israeli

  21. kids are to go to school. The school in the

  22. Word of God, and these boys have been schooled in

  23. the Word of God. Proverbs for twenty to twenty three

  24. says my son, attend to my words in cling your

  25. ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from

  26. your eyes. Keep them in the midst of your heart,

  27. for they are life to those who find them, health

  28. to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence,

  29. for out of it springs the issues of life. So

  30. although these boys were in Babylon, Babylon was not in them.

  31. Jesus said to the Father, speaking of disciples, have given

  32. them your word, and the world has hated them because

  33. they are not of the world. Just as I am

  34. not of the world. I do not pray that you

  35. should take them out of the world, that you should

  36. keep them from all evil. They are not of the world,

  37. but I am. But just as I am not of

  38. the world, sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth.

  39. That's John seventeen fourteen to seventeen. Our world is very

  40. familiar to us. Some of us grew up in the

  41. world before we knew who Jesus was, before we had

  42. the personal relationship with Jesus others procedures at a very

  43. early age. So there we live in a new world.

  44. We've been born again, not a flesh, but but of

  45. the spirit. We're still very familiar with the world. But

  46. we are not of the world of the spirit, as

  47. is young boys who were in Babylon. We're not of Babylon.

  48. We are not of this world. And God calls us

  49. to walk by the spirit. Jesus walked on water physically.

  50. God calls us to walk on water spiritually. He calls

  51. us to see into invisible and to do the impossible

  52. by the word of God. So these young Hebrew boys

  53. decided not to compromise, decided to put the word of

  54. God first place in their lives. We read the account

  55. of nebukinessa building a large statue about twenty twenty eight

  56. meters high, about three meters wide Daniel three, four to six.

  57. It says, the herald cried aloud to you is the

  58. command o people, nations and languages. At the time you've

  59. heard the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lear, and

  60. salterray in symphony with all kinds of music, you shall

  61. fall down and worship the gold image that kim Nebuknesza

  62. has said up, and whoever does not fall down and

  63. worship will be cast immediately into the midst of the

  64. burning fire refurnace. Nebuza had made a plan and time

  65. with this plan was toast Daniel three eight to twelve. Therefore,

  66. at the time, certain cordials came down and accused the Jews.

  67. They spoke and said to King Nepkanza, O king, live

  68. forever you, O King, have made a decree that everyone

  69. who hears the sound of the horn, flute, harp, lear,

  70. and sultry in symphony with all kinds of music, shall

  71. fall down and worship the Golden Image. And whoever does

  72. not fall down and worship the image shall be cast

  73. into the midst of a burning fire refurnace. There are

  74. certain Jews who set over the affairs of the province

  75. of Babylon, Shadraq, Mishak and the Begnigo. These men, O King,

  76. have not paid due regard to you. Do not serve

  77. your gods or worship the gold Image that of use

  78. that you set up. Then nebukanis in a rage and

  79. in fury gave the command to bring Shadrak and Mischak

  80. and the Begnigo. So they brought these men before the

  81. king in Nebuchan, as I spoke, saying to them, is

  82. this true, Shadrat Mischak and the Begnigo, that you do

  83. not serve my gods or worship the golden image which

  84. I have set up. Now, if you're ready, at the

  85. time you hear the sound of the horn, flute, harp,

  86. lea and sultry in symphony with all kinds of music,

  87. you shall fall down and worship the image which have

  88. made good. But if you do not worship, you should

  89. be cast immediately into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

  90. And who is the God who will deliver you from

  91. my hands? Well? The choice in life whether we follow

  92. the word of God or we follow the crowd, whether

  93. we apply the word of God or do what is

  94. right in our own eyes. These boys said, oh, nebu Canezza,

  95. we have no need to answer you in this matter.

  96. If that is the case, our God, whom we serve,

  97. is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace

  98. here delivers from your hand, O King. But if not,

  99. let it be known to you, O King, that we

  100. do not serve your gods nor will we worship the

  101. gold image which you are set up, which is Daniel

  102. three sixteen to eighteen. We all know the Count Nebuknsa

  103. lost his cool, and he was full of fury, and

  104. his expression changed towards Shadrat Music and the Begnagirl. He

  105. gave the command, and the heat of the furnace seven

  106. times more than it was usually heated, and he commanded

  107. certain mighty men to throw Shadrat, Michic and the Bendigo

  108. into the furnace with the coats, trousers and turbans. The

  109. fire was so hot that the people throwing the boys

  110. into the furnace died, and the boys fell down in

  111. the midst of a fiery furnace. In the natural there's

  112. no escape, but all things are possible with God three

  113. twenty fourth through twenty five, says King Nebuzza was astonished.

  114. He rose up in haste and spoke, saying to the counselors,

  115. did not cast three men into the midst of the fire?

  116. They answered, true, O King, He answered, I see four

  117. men loose walk in the midst of the fire, and

  118. they are not burnt, are not hurt. Sorry, And the

  119. fourth is like the son of God. Interesting nebicon Nezza's

  120. response changed. In Daniel three twenty six, he said, Shadrak,

  121. Mischak and Abegnigo, servants of the Most High God, come

  122. out and come here. His perspective changed. People in the

  123. world focus on different things. They're not rooted in the

  124. word of God. They haven't had that understanding. They'd chase

  125. after the latest thing. God wants us to be rooted

  126. in the word of God. These boys were rooted in

  127. the word of God. They had learned, and they would

  128. not be moved. It's interesting that when they came out,

  129. they didn't smell of fire. They were not burned. When

  130. God does something, he does it well. It's time to

  131. get our eyes off what the world is doing and

  132. get eyes on what God is doing. Exs. Twenty three

  133. to six says you shall have no other gods before me.

  134. You shall not make for yourselves a carved image, any likeness,

  135. or anything that is in heaven above, or in the

  136. earth beneath, or in the water under the sea. You

  137. shall not bow down or serve them. For I am

  138. the Lord your God. I'm a jealous God visiting the

  139. iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third

  140. and fourth generations of those who hate me, but show

  141. mercy to thousands, to those who love me and keep

  142. my commandments. These boys knew the word of God. We

  143. need to know the word of God in every situation

  144. and circulants that we meet on a daily basis, so

  145. we don't flip to a natural alternative. We need to

  146. not put our arm on the flesh. We need to

  147. put our trust in the spirit. Easy to say, but

  148. God wants to get us to a place individually and corporate.

  149. That's where we That's where we live. Shadrack, Mucha and

  150. a Benny were promoted by God. Daniel was promoted by

  151. God because they honor God. Sam seventy five six says

  152. promotion comes neither from the north, from the east, from

  153. the west, nor the south. But God is the judge.

  154. He puts up, and he sets up, and he sets down.

  155. God is no respector of persons. If you honor Guard,

  156. if you apply his word, you will be successful in

  157. this life. If you don't, you won't. The choice is ours.

  158. Choose who you will serve this day. He is no

  159. respector of persons. If we believe and apply the word

  160. of God in our lives. We will be successful. So

  161. let's talk about the lions. Then, Daniel six says that

  162. Daniel had an excellent spirit. He had been promoted to

  163. a very senior position in Babylon. Darius had taken over

  164. from Nebuconessa's son and a new order. But yet even

  165. as a new order, Daniel was still in a position

  166. of authority because God had given him favor. As God

  167. gave Daniel favor, he will give you favor when you

  168. apply the word of God. In Daniel six four to

  169. five we read so the governors and Satraps sought to

  170. find some charge against Daniel, concerned that his king of

  171. the kingdom, but they could no fight, could not find

  172. no no charge or fault, because he was faithful. Know

  173. is there any error or fault found in him? Wouldn't

  174. it be good if something could say that others we

  175. cannot find any fault or charge because he is faithful.

  176. So what do they do? We shall not find any

  177. charge against this Daniel unless we find it against him

  178. concerned the law of his God. And remind us Psalm

  179. twenty three, verse five. I shall put it up here

  180. on that which says you prepare a tale before us

  181. in the presence of my enemies, you annoint my head

  182. of or my cup runs over, even in the time

  183. of struggle, even in the time of difficulty, even the

  184. time of persecute. E when people have said things against

  185. us which are just not true, God prepares a table

  186. before us in the presence of our enemies. So Daniel six.

  187. So the governors and start traps stronged before the king

  188. and said to him, King Darius, live forever. All the

  189. governors and King, all the governors of the kingdom, the administration,

  190. the start traps, the councils, and the advisors have consulted

  191. together to us, how it's a royal statute, and to

  192. make a firm decree that whether petitions any God or

  193. man for thirty days, except you, o King, shall be

  194. cast into the den of lions. So the king established

  195. the decree and assigned the writing so it couldn't be

  196. changed according to lower the Meds and the Persians, which

  197. does not alter. Therefore tis King Daris signed the written

  198. degree notice verse ten. When Daniel knew the deal was done,

  199. he went home in his upper room with the windows

  200. open towards Rusmiel down, and he prayed and gave thanks

  201. before God. Daniel did not compromise like the other lads.

  202. Daniel did not compromise. God doesn't want us to compromise

  203. what we believe because somebody house has a different idea.

  204. We need to stay true to what the Word of

  205. God says, whether it's comfortable or convenient. So Daniel six sixteen.

  206. So the king gave the command, and they brought Daniel

  207. and cast him into the lion's den. But the King

  208. spoke saying to him, your God, whom you serve continually,

  209. will deliver you. And the stone was brought and laid

  210. on the mouth of the den, and the king sealed

  211. it with his own signet ring. How the signate rings

  212. of the Lord's with a purpose concerned Daniel might not change.

  213. Notice the difference between Darius and Neby kindnessa Darius knew

  214. about the most high God. He knew who Daniel served.

  215. Darius was tricked. Daniel sixth nineteen twenty two says the

  216. King arose very early in the morning, went in haste

  217. to the lions den. When he came to the den,

  218. he cried out with a lamenting voice to Daniel, Daniel,

  219. servant to the Living God, has your God whom you

  220. serve continually being able to deliver you from the lions, Daniel,

  221. and you said, oh, kingly, forever, my God sent his

  222. angel and shut the mouth the lion's mouths, so that

  223. they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent

  224. before him. And also you, oh king, I have done

  225. no wrong. When God is for us, no one can

  226. be against us. If you honor Guard, he will honor you.

  227. So I'm reminded now of a very old film called

  228. Chariots of Fire, and the lad called Eric Little who

  229. refused to run in the heats thinks for one hundred

  230. meters in Paris back in the early nine eighteen hundreds. Instead,

  231. he had a swap has had to run. I think

  232. it was the foreigner two under me. They don't remember exactly.

  233. And one of the maker runners gave him a note

  234. which said, if you wanted me, I will honor you.

  235. The man run, ran his race and won the race.

  236. It's just another analogy to what God's trying to get

  237. over to us in this in this meeting. If we

  238. honor God, he will honor hers. Apply the word, believe

  239. the word trust God. Don't look at your circumstances, your

  240. circus as are hindrances for you achieving the goal that

  241. God wants you to do. God doesn't give you a

  242. goal to achieve which can by yourself. It wouldn't be

  243. a goal for God, he says, stretch to it. Well,

  244. that's in your workplace, or in your home life, or

  245. in the vision that God's got for you. I think

  246. Juliet said recently that she didn't fancy building the norphan

  247. age when God asked her to do it, and had

  248. the conversation we got for some time before she decided

  249. to get there. But with God, all things are possible.

  250. That orphening exists. God is moving. It's not about your resources,

  251. it's about God's resources. It's about learning to tap in

  252. to the supernatural, to see into the invisible so we

  253. can do the impossible. So God bet those boys at

  254. the point of their need quite miraculously. In everyday life,

  255. God makes us the point of our need miraculously. But

  256. sometimes we do not recognize the miraculous in the every

  257. day because we haven't been pulled out of a fiery

  258. furnace literally or been thrown into a downer lions literally.

  259. But God is working in our lives. I remember driving

  260. on the motorway a little while ago, and a Lorry

  261. tire come bouncing across the road towards the car we

  262. were in. I always pray with be in the right

  263. place at the right time, and the wheel missed. It

  264. was a big wheel as well, and it just bounced past.

  265. Remember number time driving past accidents would happened before I arrived,

  266. Just before I arrived. God works in our lives. He

  267. wants us to recognize that He is working. So here's

  268. where the rubber hits the road, so to speak. As

  269. God met shadrack me shak a beg nego and Daniel's need,

  270. he will meet your need. Romus ten seventeen says faith

  271. comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

  272. You've had a lot of the Word of God this morning,

  273. read the shed loads of it out this morning. For

  274. a reason, God wants to build your faith. Romans twelve

  275. three says we've all received a measure of faith. You

  276. said you've got faith out of a mustard seed. You

  277. say to the mountain be removed, because he shall be done.

  278. I must have seed, a tine little thing he said

  279. in Mark eleven twenty four. Whatever things you ask when

  280. you pray, believe that you receive them and you shall

  281. have them. And then said Mark eleven twenty five through

  282. twenty six, whenever you stand praying, if anything against anybody,

  283. forgive that your father heaven, That your father and Heaven

  284. may forgive you. If you do not forgive, neither your

  285. father in heaven forgive you your trespassers. You know, forgiveness

  286. is a big, big thing. It's it's a doorway through

  287. to breakthrough. It's a doorway to be free. Some new

  288. ones said, do yourself a favor forgive. Hebrews Level one says, now,

  289. faith is a substance of things, hope for the evidence

  290. of things it's not seen. Faith is the substance or

  291. the compound of things, hope for the evidence of things

  292. not seen. So why did I waffle off those five scriptures?

  293. Because the direction I was given this morning was God

  294. wants to meet your need. All right. God wants to

  295. meet your need. And unless you're dead, you have a need.

  296. If you're dead, you do anything. Everyone has a need.

  297. This this is the crack. God wants to meet you at

  298. the point of your need. Right. So if you apply

  299. your faith, and you've all got faith, or got a

  300. measure of faith. I just told you've got a measure

  301. of faith, and faith comes by hearing and hearing by

  302. the worth of God. And I've given you a lot

  303. of word of God this morning. And if you'll forgive

  304. those people who need to forgiven, God will meet you

  305. with the point of your need. Right Hello, Yeah, it's

  306. not me. I just I just work here. So this

  307. is the deal. God will meet you with the point

  308. of your need. So everyone has got the goods, stand up,

  309. believe God to meet you the part of your need.

  310. And he's promised me today that he would do that. Okay,

  311. that was his plan for today. All the scriptures leads

  312. to this particular event. Okay, I am just the messenger.

  313. I just work here, all right. So it's not my might,

  314. it's not by power, it is by my spirit. Yeah,

  315. nothing to do with me. It's all to do with

  316. your position with God and how you're going to apply

  317. your faith. In the next few moments, we'll decide whether

  318. you're successful in God meeting your need or not. That

  319. is between you and God and me and God. I've

  320. got some need as well, So I invite you to

  321. stand up, apply your faith and believe God to meet

  322. you with the point of your need. Remember no music,

  323. no singing and dancing. This is just you and me

  324. and God. Okay, so you know what your biggest need is,

  325. apply your faith. Believe God to meet that need. Thank

  326. Him for meeting that need. When you've done what you

  327. need to do, sit down so I know to move on. Otherwise, Yeah,

  328. if you're listen a line or listening later. God is

  329. a spirit. There's no difference in the spirit. So you

  330. want to believe God. Believe God. He is no respector

  331. of persons.

  332. Four.

  333. Father, I thank you for meeting these people at the

  334. point of their need. I thank you saying your word. Behold,

  335. I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is

  336. there anything to heart for me? I thank you. Speak

  337. to the mountain, not walk around it. Speak to the mountain.

  338. I thank you this power of life and death in

  339. that turn? Amen, the husband, do you want to bring

  340. that word you wrote down?

  341. Good morning? I believe the Lord gave me this picture

  342. for someone this morning. I had a picture of someone

  343. in a field surrounded by houses. The field represents your

  344. situation in life. Right now. You have some space around you,

  345. but you feel enclosed and when you see birds fly overhead,

  346. something within you wants that freedom to move around, even

  347. if you haven't articulated that thought to yourself. The Lord

  348. is saying, let's plant. Let's make the field like the

  349. garden of Eden, a place of life and my presence.

  350. I'm with you now, I'm with you always, like I

  351. promise in Matthew twenty eight twenty. But if you plant

  352. my word in your heart and in your home and

  353. your circumstances as I lead you, this field will become

  354. a garden of Eden, where my presence is felt more

  355. strongly and you sense me and more tangibly. Start with this.

  356. This is the verse to start preparing your field for planting.

  357. It's Isaiah fifty eight, verse eleven. And I'm going to

  358. read from the Tree of Life version, which was translated

  359. by a joint committee of Messianic Jews and Christian scholars.

  360. So this is Isaiah fifty eight eleven in the Tree

  361. of Life version. Then Adam and I will guide you continually.

  362. He will satisfy your soul in drought and strengthen your bones.

  363. You will be like a well watered garden, like a

  364. spring of water whose waters never fail. I'm going to

  365. read that again, because it's quite a lot to take in.

  366. So it's Isaiah fifty eight to eleven from the Tree

  367. of Life version. Then Ada and I will guide you continually,

  368. satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones. You

  369. will be like a well watered garden, like a spring

  370. of water whose waters never fail.
