What Comes Out When You Are Squeezed

Brother Jim: Today's title.

Brother Jim: What comes out when you are squeezed?

Brother Jim: If we go to Genesis one to twenty seven.

Brother Jim: Let's start there, shall we?

Brother Jim: So God created mankind in his own image and the image of God.

Brother Jim: He created them, male and female.

Brother Jim: He created them.

Brother Jim: My friends, this verse lays the

Brother Jim: foundation for understanding our

Brother Jim: identity.

Brother Jim: Now I know identity is a big word in our society today.

Brother Jim: We are confused some about their identity, but it goes right

Brother Jim: there back to God's Word.

Brother Jim: Male and female.

Brother Jim: He created them.

Brother Jim: Being made in God's image gives

Brother Jim: you and I profound value and

Brother Jim: dignity.

Brother Jim: Yes, dignity.

Brother Jim: That seems to be a lost word sometimes in our society today.

Brother Jim: Reminding us, here we go, that every person, every person is

Brother Jim: worthy of love and respect.

Brother Jim: True.

Brother Jim: Every person.

Brother Jim: So my first question for you this morning.

Brother Jim: Rocks for church.

Brother Jim: What is inside you as well as

Brother Jim: what is inside your children and

Brother Jim: your grandchildren?

Brother Jim: If I were to squeeze you, What would come out.

Brother Jim: If I were to squeeze you.

Brother Jim: What would come out?

Brother Jim: Now, I know that can be an odd

Brother Jim: question, but keep the question

Brother Jim: in mind.

Brother Jim: If I were to give this orange to Ellie.

Brother Jim: That's a nice orange, isn't it?

Brother Jim: Nice.

Brother Jim: Big.

Brother Jim: Ooh.

Brother Jim: I can't wait to tear into that and tell her to squeeze it.

Brother Jim: What would come out?

Brother Jim: I heard it juice right now.

Brother Jim: If she gave it to Gemma, and

Brother Jim: Gemma really got into it, used

Brother Jim: them softball hands of hers and

Brother Jim: squeezed.

Brother Jim: Again?

Brother Jim: What would come out?

Brother Jim: Juice, a sticky mess.

Brother Jim: Now, let me ask you something again.

Brother Jim: No matter how hard these girls squeeze this orange, do you

Brother Jim: think pineapple juice will ever come out of it?

Brother Jim: Do you see any pineapple juice, girls?

Brother Jim: What if I put that big old orange in a hand?

Brother Jim: Press?

Brother Jim: Would cranberry juice then come out?

Brother Jim: No. How about apple juice?

Brother Jim: How many of us like apple juice?

Brother Jim: Okay, maybe if I prayed really,

Brother Jim: really hard, would that improve

Brother Jim: Their chances of getting apple

Brother Jim: juice, prune juice, pineapple

Brother Jim: juice, whatever out of this

Brother Jim: orange?

Brother Jim: No, of course not.

Brother Jim: Thank you.

Brother Jim: I didn't want to squeeze too

Brother Jim: hard because this is going to be

Brother Jim: lunch.

Brother Jim: So. Again, you're going to get orange juice out of it.

Brother Jim: And that's the truth.

Brother Jim: But why?

Brother Jim: Why are you going to get orange juice?

Brother Jim: Why does orange juice come out when the orange is squeezed?

Brother Jim: Now, if you're thinking, Brother

Brother Jim: Jim, you've been out in the sun

Brother Jim: too long.

Brother Jim: Of course, orange juice is what is inside the orange.

Brother Jim: You can't get around that.

Brother Jim: And you're right, that is the truth.

Brother Jim: When you squeeze any fruit,

Brother Jim: whatever comes out is already

Brother Jim: inside.

Brother Jim: Now let's take this metaphor.

Brother Jim: Let us apply that truth to our

Brother Jim: own lives and to the lives of

Brother Jim: our children.

Brother Jim: What happens when life squeezes you?

Brother Jim: What happens when life squeezes you?

Brother Jim: When people squeeze you.

Brother Jim: When temptation squeezes you.

Brother Jim: When sin squeezes you.

Brother Jim: When disappointment.

Brother Jim: When fear.

Brother Jim: When criticism or heartache squeezes you so hard.

Brother Jim: What comes out of you?

Brother Jim: Church.

Brother Jim: When someone insults you.

Brother Jim: When someone gossips about you when someone posts hurtful

Brother Jim: comments on social media, how about when you're ignored?

Brother Jim: And here's a classic.

Brother Jim: Now this just tears me apart.

Brother Jim: When you're unfollowed on social

Brother Jim: media, you mean Larry Carr

Brother Jim: unfriended me?

Brother Jim: Larry?

Brother Jim: What did I do to deserve this?

Brother Jim: But it's true, isn't it?

Brother Jim: Our culture today has created this false friendship, is what

Brother Jim: I'm going to call it.

Brother Jim: But again, it can mess with people.

Brother Jim: It can mess with our children.

Brother Jim: When you are rejected, ever been rejected before?

Brother Jim: Not a good feeling, is it?

Brother Jim: What comes out of you?

Brother Jim: That is my question.

Brother Jim: When these things happen, what comes out of you?

Brother Jim: Church.

Brother Jim: Does anger?

Brother Jim: Does bitterness?

Brother Jim: Does hatred?

Brother Jim: Does gossip?

Brother Jim: Does judgment?

Brother Jim: Does condemnation become your juice?

Brother Jim: Or does the love of Christ come flowing out?

Brother Jim: I want you to think about that this morning.

Brother Jim: When life gets tough, when the

Brother Jim: pressure gets hard, what comes

Brother Jim: out?

Brother Jim: What does your wife, what does your husband truly see?

Brother Jim: What are your children?

Brother Jim: See your grandchildren.

Brother Jim: Because let's be honest, we can

Brother Jim: all put on a good show here,

Brother Jim: can't we?

Brother Jim: But when you stub your toe at

Brother Jim: home, when the dog pees on the

Brother Jim: carpet, you name it, what

Brother Jim: happens?

Brother Jim: What really comes out of you then?

Brother Jim: Think about it.

Brother Jim: Is it the love of Jesus?

Brother Jim: Now, in Psalms one thirty nine fourteen.

Brother Jim: If you turn with me there.

Brother Jim: I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Brother Jim: Your works are wonderful.

Brother Jim: I know that full well.

Brother Jim: Now, did you see that your works are wonderful?

Brother Jim: So are we all the works of God?

Brother Jim: Yeah.

Brother Jim: Newsflash we are all the works of God.

Brother Jim: So that means we were fearfully and wonderfully made.

Brother Jim: So you got that going for you right off the bat.

Brother Jim: Psalms one thirty nine fourteen

Brother Jim: emphasizes our uniqueness and

Brother Jim: how you and I should appreciate

Brother Jim: our individuality.

Brother Jim: I have come to embrace who I am.

Brother Jim: From the nacho Man to a big old

Brother Jim: butterfly running around here

Brother Jim: tooting a horn, to being Brother

Brother Jim: Jim goofy a little bit off, but

Brother Jim: that's okay.

Brother Jim: That's who God made me to be.

Brother Jim: And here's the cool thing.

Brother Jim: How many goofy, relatable people out here we can relate and get

Brother Jim: along with really well?

Brother Jim: I see two smiling right here.

Brother Jim: We're uniquely made.

Brother Jim: Isn't that a great thing?

Brother Jim: Isn't that a great thing?

Brother Jim: My friends made in the image of God.

Brother Jim: uniqueness, your qualities that

Brother Jim: should make you feel good, feel

Brother Jim: good.

Brother Jim: And you know what?

Brother Jim: When we recognize that, that

Brother Jim: should encourage us to have a

Brother Jim: healthy self image rooted in

Brother Jim: God's craftsmanship.

Brother Jim: Not some stupid social media

Brother Jim: post, not some video, not some

Brother Jim: self health kind of associated

Brother Jim: trying to tell you you need to

Brother Jim: be thin.

Brother Jim: You need to be fat.

Brother Jim: You need to be in between.

Brother Jim: Mary Marty.

Brother Jim: You need to have black hair.

Brother Jim: Who in the blue moon are them to

Brother Jim: tell me, to tell you what you

Brother Jim: need.

Brother Jim: There's only one person that you should be listening to.

Brother Jim: Jesus.

Brother Jim: God the Holy Spirit.

Brother Jim: Don't worry about social media influencers.

Brother Jim: And I'm still trying to figure

Brother Jim: that one out what they actually

Brother Jim: do.

Brother Jim: But you know what?

Brother Jim: I am a social media influencer of God.

Brother Jim: I am an influencer of God.

Brother Jim: How about you all?

Brother Jim: That's something we could put on our application there.

Brother Jim: Be honest with yourself this morning.

Brother Jim: What comes out when the squeeze is put on you?

Brother Jim: None of us enjoy being squeezed, do we?

Brother Jim: When the pressure's on and I'm not talking about grandma giving

Brother Jim: you one of those hugs you cannot escape from this morning.

Brother Jim: I'm talking about the pressure of everyday life, the pressure

Brother Jim: of work, the pressure of parenting, the pressure of

Brother Jim: marriage, the pressure of finances, the pressure of being

Brother Jim: a follower of Jesus.

Brother Jim: And yes, when you walk with Jesus, can anybody say it's been

Brother Jim: an easy road for you?

Brother Jim: No. There are mountains.

Brother Jim: There are valleys.

Brother Jim: Satan is trying to pull you away.

Brother Jim: So yes, there is pressures.

Brother Jim: You're being squeezed to live a life for Jesus.

Brother Jim: The pressure of living in a world that is considerably

Brother Jim: constantly trying to pull you and I away from Christ.

Brother Jim: So often when something ugly

Brother Jim: comes out, we blame someone

Brother Jim: else.

Brother Jim: True.

Brother Jim: Let's be honest, especially as a little kid, if you had a brother

Brother Jim: or sister, who'd you blame?

Brother Jim: They did it.

Brother Jim: Or their imaginary friend.

Brother Jim: Did anybody have imaginary friend here?

Brother Jim: Yes, we like to put the blame on somebody else.

Brother Jim: They made me angry.

Brother Jim: They made me say those words.

Brother Jim: They caused me to react.

Brother Jim: They pushed.

Brother Jim: Oh, here's a good one.

Brother Jim: They pushed my buttons.

Brother Jim: They pushed my buttons.

Brother Jim: And how about this classic?

Brother Jim: It's an oldie but goodie.

Brother Jim: The devil made me do it.

Brother Jim: Have you heard that one before?

Brother Jim: Have you used that one before?

Brother Jim: Did the devil make you do it?

Brother Jim: Temptation is real, but the devil can't make you do it.

Brother Jim: But did they really put those

Brother Jim: things inside you and I, or did

Brother Jim: the pressure simply reveal what

Brother Jim: was already inside there long

Brother Jim: ago.

Brother Jim: Just like this orange.

Brother Jim: What's inside it?

Brother Jim: What's inside you?

Brother Jim: When I squeeze, I know I'm going to get juice.

Brother Jim: But when I squeeze you.

Brother Jim: When life squeezes you.

Brother Jim: What's coming out?

Brother Jim: What's already there, my friends.

Brother Jim: That squeeze simply reveals what's already inside.

Brother Jim: And guess what?

Brother Jim: Church.

Brother Jim: That's the truth for all of us.

Brother Jim: If you go to Romans seven fourteen to twenty three, I want

Brother Jim: to get all this in here.

Brother Jim: We know that the law is spiritual, but I am unspiritual,

Brother Jim: sold as a slave to sin.

Brother Jim: I do not understand what I do, for I want to do, I do not do.

Brother Jim: But what I hate, I do.

Brother Jim: And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is

Brother Jim: good as it is.

Brother Jim: It is no longer I myself.

Brother Jim: I do it, but.

Brother Jim: But it is sin living in me, for

Brother Jim: I know that good itself does not

Brother Jim: dwell in me, that is, in my

Brother Jim: sinful nature.

Brother Jim: For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it

Brother Jim: out, for I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil.

Brother Jim: I do not want to do this.

Brother Jim: I keep on doing.

Brother Jim: Now, if I do what I do not want

Brother Jim: to do, it is no longer I who do

Brother Jim: it, but it is living in me that

Brother Jim: does it.

Brother Jim: So I find this law at work.

Brother Jim: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me.

Brother Jim: For in my inner being.

Brother Jim: I delight in God's law.

Brother Jim: But I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law

Brother Jim: of my mind, and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at

Brother Jim: work within me.

Brother Jim: That's a lot there.

Brother Jim: But if you break it down, oh my goodness, how true it is.

Brother Jim: I want to do good, but there is sin in me.

Brother Jim: When life's pressure reveal, it reveals pride, selfishness,

Brother Jim: bitterness, fear, jealousy, or the desperate need for the

Brother Jim: approval of others.

Brother Jim: The pressure did.

Brother Jim: It did not create those things, my friend.

Brother Jim: The squeeze exposed them.

Brother Jim: Jesus taught us what comes out of our lives, reveals what is in

Brother Jim: our hearts already.

Brother Jim: If our hearts are filled with God's Word, if our minds are

Brother Jim: renewed by his truth, if we're walking with the Holy Spirit,

Brother Jim: then when life squeezes us, love can come out of us.

Brother Jim: Uh oh.

Brother Jim: One second please.

Brother Jim: I think the fan.

Brother Jim: All right, well, we're just going to get through this.

Brother Jim: Alright.

Brother Jim: I want you to think about this.

Brother Jim: We've talked about adults, don't we?

Brother Jim: We talk about you and I. the pressure, the squeeze on us.

Brother Jim: But what about our kids?

Brother Jim: Those little seven sitting here today that came up to perform.

Brother Jim: What about their life?

Brother Jim: What about the squeeze on them?

Brother Jim: True.

Brother Jim: What do we ever think about what they go through?

Brother Jim: Gemma.

Brother Jim: Ellie.

Brother Jim: Right here.

Brother Jim: Thirteen year olds, little Ron.

Brother Jim: What is squeezing them?

Brother Jim: Are we holding ourselves accountable to make sure that we

Brother Jim: are putting life into them?

Brother Jim: And I'm talking about the love of Jesus, the love of his word,

Brother Jim: the power of prayer.

Brother Jim: Look around, my friends.

Brother Jim: What is in your heart?

Brother Jim: What is in their heart?

Brother Jim: Is it Jesus or is it sin?

Brother Jim: What comes in here?

Brother Jim: What?

Brother Jim: Think about the kids around you.

Brother Jim: Think about the kids around you that come over to play.

Brother Jim: That catches a ride with you to the ball games.

Brother Jim: Little Timmy that lives down the

Brother Jim: road but is constantly there

Brother Jim: because his home life is

Brother Jim: terrible.

Brother Jim: What about them?

Brother Jim: So examine your heart first, my friends.

Brother Jim: Jesus.

Brother Jim: Or is there a sin?

Brother Jim: The world in there.

Brother Jim: And again, this goes along with the Great Commission.

Brother Jim: We've got to make sure this is

Brother Jim: clean before we go and tell

Brother Jim: true.

Brother Jim: Because what happens then?

Brother Jim: You're a hypocrite.

Brother Jim: You're not living the life that you're talking about.

Brother Jim: And Proverbs eight thirteen to fear the Lord is to hate evil.

Brother Jim: Do we really hate evil?

Brother Jim: I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

Brother Jim: So again, we need to ask ourselves in our heart, what do

Brother Jim: I got there?

Brother Jim: What am I showing my children?

Brother Jim: What am I doing with them?

Brother Jim: How am I raising them?

Brother Jim: What are we allowing them to grow?

Brother Jim: What are we allowing to grow inside them?

Brother Jim: How many of us are aware of what our kids listen to?

Brother Jim: What they watch the influencers?

Brother Jim: Think about it.

Brother Jim: And I'm putting myself on the hot seat here.

Brother Jim: AM I aware of everything?

Brother Jim: No, no, because the days of sitting around the TV in a room

Brother Jim: together with dad and control, the remote control, those are

Brother Jim: gone, aren't they?

Brother Jim: Those are gone.

Brother Jim: Everybody does their own thing now.

Brother Jim: But again, growth.

Brother Jim: Influence who?

Brother Jim: What?

Brother Jim: And I've said this before, either we take the wheel, we

Brother Jim: take control, or you know what?

Brother Jim: The world will.

Brother Jim: Can anybody argue with me that with that one, the world will

Brother Jim: gladly do it?

Brother Jim: Because again, Satan wants to pull each one of us away from

Brother Jim: God, especially our children.

Brother Jim: What is their makeup?

Brother Jim: Simply stated, good or evil?

Brother Jim: Who and what is their influence?

Brother Jim: Are accountability.

Brother Jim: Accountability from you and I?

Brother Jim: And if I'm being honest today, some of the juice that comes out

Brother Jim: from us, it can just be nasty.

Brother Jim: It can be rotten, and it can be spoiled.

Brother Jim: True, if we're truly honest with ourselves.

Brother Jim: Do our kids get the best from us at times?

Brother Jim: Maybe not.

Brother Jim: Or maybe just a little tainted.

Brother Jim: I see as a grandfather now, especially as Padre.

Brother Jim: Those little kids look up.

Brother Jim: They want to mimic, don't they?

Brother Jim: They want to do everything that Grandma and Grandpa does, or Mom

Brother Jim: and Daddy does.

Brother Jim: So again, what kind of juice are you giving them?

Brother Jim: And I'm talking spiritually.

Brother Jim: Again, even here in church.

Brother Jim: Now I'm going to go there.

Brother Jim: You know what?

Brother Jim: Sometimes there is rotten juice here and it breaks my heart.

Brother Jim: Now, yes, I've had rotten juice myself, but also transformation

Brother Jim: along with repenting of my heart and my mind.

Brother Jim: Getting rid.

Brother Jim: Lord, take that anger.

Brother Jim: Take that bitterness away from me.

Brother Jim: Clean me up.

Brother Jim: Because I want to give each of you Jesus juice, godly juice.

Brother Jim: I want to give my wife my kids

Brother Jim: nutrition something that tastes

Brother Jim: good, that is sweet, that is

Brother Jim: from love.

Brother Jim: And isn't that what Jesus does for each one of us?

Brother Jim: What?

Brother Jim: He gives us?

Brother Jim: The juice.

Brother Jim: You hang around people long enough.

Brother Jim: You start to see what's really inside them.

Brother Jim: True.

Brother Jim: So we each here need to be cautious of what we say.

Brother Jim: We need to be mindful of what we say.

Brother Jim: We need to allow Jesus to clean it up, to clean it up.

Brother Jim: That old saying applies so well.

Brother Jim: Garbage in, garbage out.

Brother Jim: Let me back that up with scripture.

Brother Jim: Proverbs twenty two one to six.

Brother Jim: A good name is to be chosen instead of many riches.

Brother Jim: Favor is better than silver and gold.

Brother Jim: The rich and the poor meet together.

Brother Jim: The Lord is the maker of them all.

Brother Jim: A wise man sees sin and hides himself, but the foolish go on

Brother Jim: and are punished for it.

Brother Jim: The reward of not having pride and having the fear of the Lord

Brother Jim: is riches, honor, and life.

Brother Jim: Thorns and traps are in the ways of the sinful.

Brother Jim: Here we go, here we go.

Brother Jim: He who watches himself will stay far away from them.

Brother Jim: Bring up a child by teaching him the way he should go.

Brother Jim: And when he is old, he will not turn away from it.

Brother Jim: So again, what are we teaching our kids, my friends?

Brother Jim: What are we teaching little Timmy, who has no parents, who

Brother Jim: has no manly or womanly influence or love in their life?

Brother Jim: And we wonder why kids are so messed up today.

Brother Jim: We wonder why they're so far off

Brother Jim: the reservation in our world

Brother Jim: today.

Brother Jim: Could it be because mankind, our

Brother Jim: society, you and I, as adults,

Brother Jim: have failed in so many ways to

Brother Jim: provide as well as set an

Brother Jim: example, an example of godly

Brother Jim: living in a sinful, fallen

Brother Jim: world.

Brother Jim: What example are you and I setting for our children?

Brother Jim: What are we putting into our

Brother Jim: little fruits, if you will, from

Brother Jim: when you and I. When we get

Brother Jim: squeezed under life's pressure

Brother Jim: and temptation from the world we

Brother Jim: live in.

Brother Jim: What are those little ears hear?

Brother Jim: What are those little eyes?

Brother Jim: See?

Brother Jim: So the real question is this morning.

Brother Jim: What is filling your heart?

Brother Jim: Jesus taught us what comes out of a person flows.

Brother Jim: From what is inside us.

Brother Jim: Flows.

Brother Jim: So what's flowing from you?

Brother Jim: And Luke six forty five, a good man brings good things out of

Brother Jim: the good stored up in his heart.

Brother Jim: And an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up

Brother Jim: in his heart for the mouth.

Brother Jim: O for the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

Brother Jim: Joy can come out.

Brother Jim: Peace can come out.

Brother Jim: Patience can come out.

Brother Jim: Kindness can come out.

Brother Jim: Grace can come out.

Brother Jim: And here's a big one.

Brother Jim: Forgiveness can come out.

Brother Jim: But if we continually fill our hearts with pride, worldly

Brother Jim: thinking, utterness, anger, judgment, and the opinions of

Brother Jim: this culture, then those are the things that will overflow when

Brother Jim: the pressure is applied.

Brother Jim: All those nasty evil characteristics become and will

Brother Jim: be our juice when life squeezes us in Proverbs eight thirteen to

Brother Jim: fear the Lord is to hate evil.

Brother Jim: I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

Brother Jim: Now, we said that before, but

Brother Jim: again, I want to come back to

Brother Jim: that.

Brother Jim: To fear the Lord is to hate evil.

Brother Jim: And this is going to be another Sunday morning coming up here.

Brother Jim: How many of us really fear God anymore?

Brother Jim: Have we kind of got away from fearing God?

Brother Jim: Has culture created a society where fear is absent now?

Brother Jim: Something to think about.

Brother Jim: So, church, here's the question

Brother Jim: every one of us must answer

Brother Jim: today.

Brother Jim: What kind of juice comes out when your life of your life,

Brother Jim: when you're squeezed.

Brother Jim: Because the pressure does not define us.

Brother Jim: It simply reveals what has been filling our hearts all along.

Brother Jim: So we as adults have our own battles of being squeezed.

Brother Jim: Yes we do, as well as trying to produce that juice.

Brother Jim: Jesus loving juice.

Brother Jim: But what about our children and grandchildren?

Brother Jim: Every video we watch, every voice we listen to, every

Brother Jim: complaint and negativity that comes out of our mouths and

Brother Jim: every message we believe shapes what is stored in our hearts.

Brother Jim: And the same goes for the little ones as well as our teens.

Brother Jim: True.

Brother Jim: What example are you setting in

Brother Jim: your family, in your job, and in

Brother Jim: your church?

Brother Jim: Think about this.

Brother Jim: Do I have the juice of Jesus coming out of me today?

Brother Jim: If life squeezed you today,

Brother Jim: right at this moment, would

Brother Jim: people see Jesus come out or

Brother Jim: would they see the norm from our

Brother Jim: society today?

Brother Jim: The influence of the world come out.

Brother Jim: As we prepare to close, I want you to think back.

Brother Jim: Remember that little song?

Brother Jim: Be careful, little eyes.

Brother Jim: Be careful, little eyes.

Brother Jim: What you see.

Brother Jim: Oh, be careful, little eyes.

Brother Jim: What you see.

Brother Jim: For the father up above.

Brother Jim: Is looking down in love.

Brother Jim: Oh be careful, little eyes.

Brother Jim: Oh be careful, little ears.

Brother Jim: What you hear.

Brother Jim: Doesn't every child deserve to hear about God?

Brother Jim: When you deny a child to learn about God.

Brother Jim: Think about that.

Brother Jim: But it breaks my soul when man woman is so arrogant in their

Brother Jim: beliefs, They take away the right of that child to at least

Brother Jim: come to Sunday school, to at least participate in VBS.

Brother Jim: And again, oh, we can take him to VBS because, hey, I get an

Brother Jim: hour and a half free.

Brother Jim: True.

Brother Jim: We're babysitters, but we don't look at it like that, do we?

Brother Jim: No. We have an opportunity to

Brother Jim: plant seeds to tell them about

Brother Jim: Jesus.

Brother Jim: And that is what is so important today.

Brother Jim: Because again, I have high hopes for all these little children.

Brother Jim: They're going to be better than me in every way.

Brother Jim: And I want that.

Brother Jim: I tell my girls, I want them to be a better individual, a better

Brother Jim: Christian than me in their life.

Brother Jim: How many of you can say the same?

Brother Jim: Because so many times that was me right there.

Brother Jim: And I still struggle not to be that at days.

Brother Jim: Can everybody else kind of say, yeah, Jim, there's moments.

Brother Jim: I'm kind of like that old orange.

Brother Jim: But you know what?

Brother Jim: Again, I got Jesus in my life and I know Jesus can turn me

Brother Jim: around if I'm willing.

Brother Jim: But you know what?

Brother Jim: Here's the thing, my friends.

Brother Jim: We have something.

Brother Jim: It's a big but, Bob, there's the big but.

Brother Jim: But if we have something so

Brother Jim: sweet and delicious,

Brother Jim: mouthwatering coming out of us,

Brother Jim: no matter what the situation,

Brother Jim: when the pressure of life comes,

Brother Jim: it squeezes.

Brother Jim: I still got Jesus.

Brother Jim: Isn't that great?

Brother Jim: I still got Jesus.

Brother Jim: And I said prior to a few individuals, they made my day

Brother Jim: because when life kicked them right in the backside and that's

Brother Jim: what they did.

Brother Jim: Hey, it's okay because I got Jesus and I know he's not going

Brother Jim: to let me down.

Brother Jim: I got Jesus as that song goes, I got it.

Brother Jim: All right.

Brother Jim: You take a bite of Jesus.

Brother Jim: Better yet, you let him take over and fill your heart.

Brother Jim: You will not be disappointed and you will not go hungry.

Brother Jim: And at the end of the day, you're going to have a smile on

Brother Jim: your face, face from ear to ear.

Brother Jim: You're going to be sticky with love.

Brother Jim: You got juice coming out of your goatee.

Brother Jim: If you got a goatee.

Brother Jim: But that's okay, because I got Jesus.

Brother Jim: I got a whole bunch of juice.

Brother Jim: Jesus.

Brother Jim: Juice dripping off me.

Brother Jim: And guess what?

Brother Jim: Chris, I want to give you a big old hug and rub it all on you.

Brother Jim: And then I want you to do the

Brother Jim: same, and I want you to do the

Brother Jim: same.

Brother Jim: Isn't that what our country needs?

Brother Jim: Isn't that what our family needs?

Brother Jim: Sharing the love of Christ, sharing the love, the gospel

Brother Jim: more than anything.

Brother Jim: You don't need more friends, more likes.

Brother Jim: Our world needs more Jesus.

Brother Jim: And you know why?

Brother Jim: Because it's oh so good.

Brother Jim: The goodness of God.

Brother Jim: And that I guarantee you, my friends, let it be so.
