Jesus Sees What Everyone Else Misses

Brother Jim: I hope you noticed we added sermon notes in your insert

Brother Jim: there, so give you a little bit more opportunity to write stuff.

Brother Jim: Kind of shifted gears today a little bit.

Brother Jim: Today's scriptures, they're up on the board for you.

Brother Jim: Today's title, Jesus sees what everyone else misses.

Brother Jim: I'll put the scripture back up there for you.

Brother Jim: Has anybody heard of Doctor David Gibbs?

Brother Jim: Outstanding man.

Brother Jim: He is a Christian, number one.

Brother Jim: He is an evangelist.

Brother Jim: He's a pastor.

Brother Jim: He's a very brilliant attorney.

Brother Jim: And this man has a voice that just draws you in, and I've been

Brother Jim: listening to him a lot.

Brother Jim: And he told this story.

Brother Jim: He went over to Vietnam to visit a church that part of his

Brother Jim: organization was sponsoring.

Brother Jim: So he got there and he was talking to the man, the the head

Brother Jim: missionary, and he said, well, let's go out and take a look at

Brother Jim: the churches we're supporting.

Brother Jim: And as they made their way

Brother Jim: through the villages, they

Brother Jim: stopped at one village, little

Brother Jim: small church.

Brother Jim: And of course, over there, rice is their main economy.

Brother Jim: And in order to plant the rice, I go back to when I was a little

Brother Jim: boy growing up, we had a neighbor named Zeke, and Zeke

Brother Jim: was old school.

Brother Jim: He had two big plow horses.

Brother Jim: Remember them days plowing up the fields and then disking

Brother Jim: them, and he'd always come over and plow our garden up for us.

Brother Jim: And I say that because it goes

Brother Jim: to a reference to the story,

Brother Jim: because over there they didn't

Brother Jim: have tractors.

Brother Jim: They relied on the family ox, water buffalo, whatever you want

Brother Jim: to call it.

Brother Jim: One of them big old boys, that

Brother Jim: is what they use to plow their

Brother Jim: fields.

Brother Jim: And as they were walking through the village, they noticed Doctor

Brother Jim: David Gibbs noticed that a family had no water buffalo.

Brother Jim: They had the straps, the harness around the plow, and they were

Brother Jim: pulling it themselves.

Brother Jim: Now think about that for a moment.

Brother Jim: Everyone else had their buffalo except this family.

Brother Jim: And he asked the pastor.

Brother Jim: He said, what's the deal?

Brother Jim: And he started to tear up and he said, this family here had such

Brother Jim: a calling to support the local missions of their church.

Brother Jim: They sold their prized water buffalo and gave the money to

Brother Jim: the church to further the mission to spread the gospel.

Brother Jim: Now, Doctor David Gibbs was just amazed.

Brother Jim: Here's these poor people.

Brother Jim: And let's be honest, they ain't looking like me.

Brother Jim: A lot skinnier, a lot healthier,

Brother Jim: but plowing them fields by

Brother Jim: themselves.

Brother Jim: Human power.

Brother Jim: And it just moved, Doctor Gibbs.

Brother Jim: That their faithfulness to sell the most prized possession in

Brother Jim: the household to go to God's mission of spreading the gospel.

Brother Jim: Simply amazing.

Brother Jim: Would we do that?

Brother Jim: Would I do that?

Brother Jim: Uh, that'd be tough.

Brother Jim: So years later, Doctor Gibbs goes back to revisit.

Brother Jim: And he remembered this family.

Brother Jim: He goes, I want to go see them.

Brother Jim: The pastor smiled.

Brother Jim: He took him to the village where the.

Brother Jim: That farmer was.

Brother Jim: And lo and behold, guess what they had.

Brother Jim: They had a tractor.

Brother Jim: Somebody donated gave them a tractor.

Brother Jim: Wow.

Brother Jim: Is that faith in action?

Brother Jim: Who provided the tractor?

Brother Jim: Will someone say, oh, Brother Jim?

Brother Jim: Someone gave him the tractor because they felt sorry.

Brother Jim: No no no no. Faith provides.

Brother Jim: God provides.

Brother Jim: They gave all they had.

Brother Jim: And look what they got in return.

Brother Jim: Remember this?

Brother Jim: Again, Jesus sees what everyone else misses.

Brother Jim: If you want to turn to your

Brother Jim: Bibles, we're starting out with

Brother Jim: Mark twelve forty one to forty

Brother Jim: four.

Brother Jim: Everything's out of the new King James Version today.

Brother Jim: Mark twelve forty one to forty four.

Brother Jim: Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people

Brother Jim: put money into the treasury, and many who were rich put in much.

Brother Jim: Then one poor widow came and

Brother Jim: threw in two mites, which makes

Brother Jim: a quadrants.

Brother Jim: So he called his disciples to

Brother Jim: himself, and said to them,

Brother Jim: assuredly, I say to you that

Brother Jim: this poor widow has put in more

Brother Jim: than all those who have given to

Brother Jim: the treasury.

Brother Jim: For they all put in out of their abundance.

Brother Jim: But she, out of her poverty, put

Brother Jim: in all that she had her whole

Brother Jim: livelihood.

Brother Jim: So Rockford Church, imagine the scene.

Brother Jim: You have people from all walks

Brother Jim: of life coming into entering the

Brother Jim: temple.

Brother Jim: The rich, the middle class, and the poor.

Brother Jim: Up comes a group of wealthy

Brother Jim: worshipers, and they begin

Brother Jim: placing large sums of money into

Brother Jim: the offering.

Brother Jim: Imagine the sounds of the coins.

Brother Jim: Dropping into the treasury.

Brother Jim: Clang clang clang.

Brother Jim: And I think we can agree that clang would probably draw some

Brother Jim: attention, would it not?

Brother Jim: And let us add someone else to the scene.

Brother Jim: There are average everyday folks

Brother Jim: standing around watching these

Brother Jim: wealthy worshippers give, and

Brother Jim: they're probably thinking, wow,

Brother Jim: look at how generous these

Brother Jim: people are, these wealthy

Brother Jim: individuals.

Brother Jim: And again, I think we can all

Brother Jim: agree what a glorious sound

Brother Jim: money is.

Brother Jim: Money, money, money.

Brother Jim: But then the atmosphere changes.

Brother Jim: Here comes a poor widow.

Brother Jim: Oh, what a sight to see.

Brother Jim: Now imagine that in your eyes.

Brother Jim: A poor widow, probably in rags, humped over sandals.

Brother Jim: Maybe.

Brother Jim: Maybe not.

Brother Jim: She walks up quietly.

Brother Jim: Now.

Brother Jim: There's no fanfare.

Brother Jim: There's no announcement.

Brother Jim: No one is making a big deal about her.

Brother Jim: Then she drops in two.

Brother Jim: Two.

Brother Jim: Tiny copper coins.

Brother Jim: Two coins worth almost nothing by earthly standards.

Brother Jim: Now think about the penny.

Brother Jim: What's it worth anymore?

Brother Jim: More of a nuisance.

Brother Jim: And I can almost hear the question.

Brother Jim: Who would even notice?

Brother Jim: With all the clanging and banging and clattering of the

Brother Jim: wealthy dropping their large gifts, who would pay attention

Brother Jim: to two two tiny coins?

Brother Jim: Everyone was in awe of the

Brother Jim: generosity of the wealthy, But

Brother Jim: Jesus noticed something that

Brother Jim: everyone else missed and

Brother Jim: churches to the point of this

Brother Jim: story.

Brother Jim: People were looking at the size of the gift.

Brother Jim: Jesus was looking at, the size of the sacrifice.

Brother Jim: Think about it.

Brother Jim: If I drove into church parking lot one Sunday morning in a

Brother Jim: Lamborghini, you're going to probably notice, right?

Brother Jim: You would probably.

Brother Jim: Or I would probably hear

Brother Jim: somebody say, well, well, well,

Brother Jim: look what Brother Jim is

Brother Jim: driving.

Brother Jim: And then the comments would start flying.

Brother Jim: Where did he get that?

Brother Jim: How could he afford it?

Brother Jim: How did he even fit inside that thing?

Brother Jim: More importantly, how is he going to get out of it?

Brother Jim: Now of course, somebody.

Brother Jim: Is going to say eventually ask,

Brother Jim: how much are we paying, Brother

Brother Jim: Jim?

Brother Jim: We laugh because we know how

Brother Jim: easily our attention can be

Brother Jim: drawn to what is big, what is

Brother Jim: expensive, and what is

Brother Jim: impressive.

Brother Jim: Now, if I drove up in a nineteen

Brother Jim: eighty one Chevette a great car,

Brother Jim: you guys would probably make

Brother Jim: fun, but that'd be the end of

Brother Jim: it.

Brother Jim: A little difference between a Lambo and a Chevette.

Brother Jim: But Jesus reminds you and I. God does not measure our giving the

Brother Jim: way people do.

Brother Jim: People see the amount.

Brother Jim: God sees the heart.

Brother Jim: People see what is placed in the offering plate.

Brother Jim: God sees what it costs you to give.

Brother Jim: Remember that what God is looking at, not what the people

Brother Jim: are looking at.

Brother Jim: That poor widow may have been

Brother Jim: invisible to everyone else, but

Brother Jim: she was never invisible to

Brother Jim: Jesus.

Brother Jim: Who would notice two copper coins?

Brother Jim: But again, somebody sure did.

Brother Jim: Jesus noticed.

Brother Jim: Is it not true that we as human

Brother Jim: beings tend to see the outside,

Brother Jim: outside of people, outside of

Brother Jim: situation, outside of

Brother Jim: brokenness?

Brother Jim: We could go on and on.

Brother Jim: And here is the truth, my friends.

Brother Jim: God sees the heart.

Brother Jim: You can't get around that one.

Brother Jim: God sees the heart.

Brother Jim: Now let's be honest.

Brother Jim: We can fool people.

Brother Jim: Some individuals can fool people

Brother Jim: very well in life, even here in

Brother Jim: the church.

Brother Jim: But you and I cannot fool God.

Brother Jim: We cannot fool God.

Brother Jim: God knows, for example, why we

Brother Jim: give, why we serve, And whether

Brother Jim: we are sincere or just seeking

Brother Jim: recognition.

Brother Jim: If you go to first Samuel sixteen seven.

Brother Jim: But the Lord said to Samuel, do not look at his appearance or at

Brother Jim: his physical stature, because I have refused him.

Brother Jim: For the Lord does not see him as a man sees.

Brother Jim: For man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks

Brother Jim: at what the heart.

Brother Jim: Church, let me ask you this.

Brother Jim: If Jesus watched you and I give

Brother Jim: today, just one day, just a mere

Brother Jim: twenty four hours, what would he

Brother Jim: see?

Brother Jim: Would he see sincere love and obedience?

Brother Jim: Would he see obligation?

Brother Jim: Or would he see nothing at all from you and I?

Brother Jim: let that question sink in for a moment.

Brother Jim: And church, while you're pondering this question,

Brother Jim: remember this true giving is measured by sacrifice, not size.

Brother Jim: Let's go back and revisit Mark twelve forty three to forty

Brother Jim: four, because again, this just sums it up so well.

Brother Jim: When he called his disciples to

Brother Jim: himself and said to them,

Brother Jim: assuredly, I say to you that

Brother Jim: this poor widow has put in more

Brother Jim: than all those who have given to

Brother Jim: the treasury.

Brother Jim: For they all put it out of their abundance.

Brother Jim: But she, out of her poverty, put

Brother Jim: in all that she had her whole

Brother Jim: livelihood.

Brother Jim: Now let me ask you something, church.

Brother Jim: Who here is willing to give all their livelihood?

Brother Jim: Who?

Brother Jim: That's a tough one, isn't it?

Brother Jim: Very tough.

Brother Jim: How could Jesus say?

Brother Jim: the poor widow.

Brother Jim: She gave more church.

Brother Jim: Heaven measures percentage.

Brother Jim: Heaven does not measure amount.

Brother Jim: The rich gave.

Brother Jim: From what they would never miss.

Brother Jim: The widow gave what she could not afford to lose.

Brother Jim: The rich gave comfortably.

Brother Jim: The widow gave sacrificially.

Brother Jim: My friends, God is not after your money.

Brother Jim: Uh, that's a good one.

Brother Jim: There.

Brother Jim: You talk to a lot of people.

Brother Jim: Try and invite them to church.

Brother Jim: Oh, no no no, no, the church is after my money.

Brother Jim: We've created that stigma, have we not?

Brother Jim: Let's be honest.

Brother Jim: It takes money to run a church.

Brother Jim: It really does.

Brother Jim: But at the end of the day, God wants your heart.

Brother Jim: Because guess what?

Brother Jim: When you get transformed, if

Brother Jim: you're really transformed,

Brother Jim: you're saved.

Brother Jim: What happens?

Brother Jim: You got the Holy Spirit in you and you want to serve.

Brother Jim: You want to give.

Brother Jim: I'm giving them my time.

Brother Jim: I'm giving of my tithe.

Brother Jim: Hey, God, what can I do for you today?

Brother Jim: But how many of us really do that?

Brother Jim: We become comfortable talking to me to.

Brother Jim: The widow's treasure was not money.

Brother Jim: The widow's treasure was God.

Brother Jim: Imagine two people.

Brother Jim: One millionaire gives a thousand dollars and never notices it.

Brother Jim: A struggling single mother or father gives twenty dollars that

Brother Jim: they had set aside because they want to honor God.

Brother Jim: They want to honor God.

Brother Jim: Which gift requires greater faith?

Brother Jim: Again, brothers and sisters, heaven knows faith trusts God

Brother Jim: with everything, and that's a hard one to swallow when it

Brother Jim: comes to finance, faith.

Brother Jim: Faith that God will provide.

Brother Jim: Those two mites of the poor widow represented all she had.

Brother Jim: She was saying, Lord, I trust

Brother Jim: you more than I trust these two

Brother Jim: coins.

Brother Jim: And you know what?

Brother Jim: Here's the thing.

Brother Jim: This widow.

Brother Jim: She didn't even know where her

Brother Jim: next meal was going to come

Brother Jim: from.

Brother Jim: Think about that.

Brother Jim: How many of us already have Sunday dinner cooking?

Brother Jim: Or we know we're going down to

Brother Jim: Lee's Chicken or we're going to

Brother Jim: grandma's house.

Brother Jim: You already know what we're going to have.

Brother Jim: How many's getting ready to go grocery shopping?

Brother Jim: Anybody here unaware of where their next meal will come from?

Brother Jim: Yet she was willing to give it all to God.

Brother Jim: Is that faith?

Brother Jim: Oh, you better believe it.

Brother Jim: You're right, Dave, that is faith.

Brother Jim: She believed in her heart.

Brother Jim: God would provide.

Brother Jim: Giving has always been an act of faith.

Brother Jim: Abraham trusted God.

Brother Jim: The widow of Zarephath trusted God.

Brother Jim: The churches of Macedonia gave beyond their ability.

Brother Jim: Very simple wording here this morning.

Brother Jim: The poor widow trusted God.

Brother Jim: When is the last time.

Brother Jim: Church you trusted God with all your heart?

Brother Jim: Sometimes our greatest act of worship is releasing what we

Brother Jim: desperately want to hold on to.

Brother Jim: Money.

Brother Jim: Oh, money.

Brother Jim: Such a good example.

Brother Jim: I mean, who really wants to pay

Brother Jim: bills, pay taxes, Insurance

Brother Jim: premiums, outrageous gas and

Brother Jim: food prices.

Brother Jim: And let's just be honest, we like our money.

Brother Jim: It provides stability.

Brother Jim: It gives you a great comfort

Brother Jim: when you look in your checking,

Brother Jim: when you look in your savings,

Brother Jim: your CDs or whatever, it's

Brother Jim: there.

Brother Jim: But let me ask you something.

Brother Jim: Are you going to take it with you?

Brother Jim: God forbid you keel over today.

Brother Jim: Are you taking it with you?

Brother Jim: That brand new bass boat you

Brother Jim: just bought, you finally paid

Brother Jim: off.

Brother Jim: Is it going with you?

Brother Jim: Now they might throw your

Brother Jim: carcass in it and take you to

Brother Jim: the cemetery in it, but that's

Brother Jim: about as good as it's going to

Brother Jim: get.

Brother Jim: Family, kids they're going to fight over.

Brother Jim: We like our money.

Brother Jim: Even.

Brother Jim: Oh, here comes one.

Brother Jim: Even putting our money in the

Brother Jim: offering baskets on a Sunday

Brother Jim: morning.

Brother Jim: Can push.

Brother Jim: Can stretch the limits of our faith, our trust in God.

Brother Jim: Let us be honest today.

Brother Jim: True.

Brother Jim: But and here's that big but faith says, God, everything I

Brother Jim: have belongs to you.

Brother Jim: Can we say that church.

Brother Jim: Everything I have.

Brother Jim: This suit belongs to God.

Brother Jim: That house we live in belongs to God.

Brother Jim: We could go on and on.

Brother Jim: And here we go.

Brother Jim: Church.

Brother Jim: God honors the humble.

Brother Jim: Notice something remarkable.

Brother Jim: Jesus never rebuked the widow.

Brother Jim: Jesus praised her.

Brother Jim: No miracle occurred that day.

Brother Jim: No angel appeared and no crowd applauded.

Brother Jim: Whew!

Brother Jim: Look at the widow.

Brother Jim: No, it didn't happen yet.

Brother Jim: And here you go.

Brother Jim: I want you to listen to this.

Brother Jim: Yet her story has been preached

Brother Jim: around the world for nearly two

Brother Jim: thousand years.

Brother Jim: And guess what?

Brother Jim: The wealthy.

Brother Jim: They're dead.

Brother Jim: They're gone.

Brother Jim: They're forgotten.

Brother Jim: There.

Brother Jim: Anonymous.

Brother Jim: The widow is remembered forever.

Brother Jim: Why?

Brother Jim: Because God honors faithfulness.

Brother Jim: If you go to James four ten,

Brother Jim: humble yourselves in the sight

Brother Jim: of the Lord, and he's going to

Brother Jim: do what?

Brother Jim: What's that?

Brother Jim: He's going to lift you up.

Brother Jim: The greatest gift is your life.

Brother Jim: The widow gave two coins Jesus would soon give his life.

Brother Jim: Only days after this event,

Brother Jim: Christ would hang upon the

Brother Jim: cross.

Brother Jim: Ironic, isn't it?

Brother Jim: The widow gave all she had to live on.

Brother Jim: Jesus gave us all he had.

Brother Jim: So you and I could live forever.

Brother Jim: You can't get around this verse.

Brother Jim: How many times has this verse been used?

Brother Jim: But again, John three sixteen to

Brother Jim: seventeen For God so loved the

Brother Jim: world that he gave his only

Brother Jim: begotten son, that whoever

Brother Jim: believes in him should not

Brother Jim: perish but have everlasting

Brother Jim: life.

Brother Jim: For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the

Brother Jim: world, but to the world through him he might be saved.

Brother Jim: The widow teaches us that God

Brother Jim: notices every act of

Brother Jim: faithfulness.

Brother Jim: God measures sacrifice, not size.

Brother Jim: God values the heart more than the amount.

Brother Jim: Faith.

Brother Jim: Trust God completely.

Brother Jim: True worship is giving ourselves wholly to him.

Brother Jim: The question is not how much do I have?

Brother Jim: The question is how much of me belongs to God?

Brother Jim: Oh, that sounds familiar.

Brother Jim: How much of your heart did you give Jesus this week?

Brother Jim: Rochford Church.

Brother Jim: God has been so faithful to this church.

Brother Jim: You gotta admit that.

Brother Jim: And I know we got a lot of people have been here for a long

Brother Jim: time, and they've seen the acts of faithfulness and how God has

Brother Jim: blessed this church, how God has blessed the people true.

Brother Jim: God has blessed us with

Brother Jim: salvation, with a church family,

Brother Jim: and with the privilege of

Brother Jim: serving him.

Brother Jim: And yes, it is a privilege.

Brother Jim: The local church is not simply a building.

Brother Jim: It is God's people called to worship him, proclaim the

Brother Jim: gospel, and to minister those who are in need.

Brother Jim: For the church to fulfill its mission.

Brother Jim: Every.

Brother Jim: Here we go.

Brother Jim: Every member must play its part.

Brother Jim: The Bible teaches us that if we honor God not only with our

Brother Jim: words, but also with our lives, our time, our talents, and yes,

Brother Jim: even our finances.

Brother Jim: Many people are willing to say they love the church.

Brother Jim: Hey, I love this church.

Brother Jim: But love is demonstrated through

Brother Jim: what love is demonstrated

Brother Jim: through commitment.

Brother Jim: Every ministry, every outreach,

Brother Jim: every lesson taught to our

Brother Jim: children.

Brother Jim: Every missionary supported,

Brother Jim: every utility bill, paid, every

Brother Jim: repair made, and every

Brother Jim: opportunity to share the gospel

Brother Jim: is possible because God's people

Brother Jim: faithfully give.

Brother Jim: God's people faithfully serve.

Brother Jim: AM I getting close with anybody here?

Brother Jim: Are we listening?

Brother Jim: Whatever God has entrusted to you, he is asking you to use it

Brother Jim: for his glory.

Brother Jim: So here's something I want you to chew on this week.

Brother Jim: Have you truly asked God to use

Brother Jim: you with whatever gifts,

Brother Jim: talents, time, resources, or

Brother Jim: opportunities he has entrusted

Brother Jim: you with?

Brother Jim: Or are you afraid to ask to ask

Brother Jim: him because you already know

Brother Jim: what his answer might be that

Brother Jim: will take you out of your

Brother Jim: comfort zone.

Brother Jim: You see, church, sometimes we say, God, use me.

Brother Jim: But what that really means is God use me.

Brother Jim: As long as it's convenient,

Brother Jim: comfortable, and fits into my

Brother Jim: plans.

Brother Jim: But God does not call you and I merely to be comfortable.

Brother Jim: He calls us to be faithful.

Brother Jim: The question is not God.

Brother Jim: What can you give me today?

Brother Jim: The question is, God, what can I give you today?

Brother Jim: God has entrusted to you.

Brother Jim: What has God entrusted to you

Brother Jim: and what are you doing with it

Brother Jim: for him?

Brother Jim: The apostle Apostle Paul reminds us in second Corinthians.

Brother Jim: Two.

Brother Jim: Verse nine six to eight.

Brother Jim: But this I say, he who has.

Brother Jim: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly.

Brother Jim: And he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.

Brother Jim: So let each one of us.

Brother Jim: So let each one give as he purposes.

Brother Jim: Man, I'm messed up now.

Brother Jim: So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not

Brother Jim: grudgingly or a necessity.

Brother Jim: For God loves a cheerful giver

Brother Jim: and God is able to make all

Brother Jim: grace abound toward you, that

Brother Jim: you always having all

Brother Jim: sufficiency in all things,

Brother Jim: sufficiency in all things, may

Brother Jim: have an abundance for every good

Brother Jim: work.

Brother Jim: Our giving should never be motivated by guilt or pressure,

Brother Jim: but by gratitude for what Christ has done for us.

Brother Jim: Likewise, our time is one of God's greatest gifts.

Brother Jim: Once it is spent.

Brother Jim: You can't get it back.

Brother Jim: Can you imagine what God could do?

Brother Jim: Church where every member asked, Lord, where can I serve and how

Brother Jim: can I make a difference?

Brother Jim: Wouldn't that be something?

Brother Jim: Think of what we could do when

Brother Jim: you and I invest our time, our

Brother Jim: resources.

Brother Jim: Yes, our monetary gifts.

Brother Jim: In God's kingdom, we are making an internal investment.

Brother Jim: Lives are changed.

Brother Jim: Families are strengthened.

Brother Jim: Souls are saved.

Brother Jim: And God is what God is glorified.

Brother Jim: Thank you to those who faithfully give, faithfully,

Brother Jim: serve and faithfully pray.

Brother Jim: Your labor is not in vain.

Brother Jim: God, here we go.

Brother Jim: God sees every sacrifice, every act of service, every dollar

Brother Jim: given, and every prayer lifted on behalf of his church.

Brother Jim: And if you have not yet found your place of service, or if

Brother Jim: you've not begun supporting the work of the church as God has

Brother Jim: enabled you, I encourage you pray about taking the next step.

Brother Jim: That's where it starts.

Brother Jim: Prayer.

Brother Jim: Take it to God.

Brother Jim: See what he says.

Brother Jim: May we never look at this church

Brother Jim: and say that is someone else's

Brother Jim: responsibility.

Brother Jim: Brothers and sisters, this is our church family, is it not?

Brother Jim: And together we have the incredible opportunity, the

Brother Jim: privilege of advancing the kingdom of God.

Brother Jim: When we get past, it's all about me.

Brother Jim: Just like the poor widow.

Brother Jim: May you and I remain faithful,

Brother Jim: giving, serving, praying, and

Brother Jim: working for his kingdom until

Brother Jim: the day.

Brother Jim: The day that the Lord returns.
