  1. Have you ever, like,

  2. been in a time of prayer or been in an intimate

  3. time with the Lord? Yeah. And when you're sitting

  4. in your office, I'm just asking for a friend, when you're sitting

  5. in your office and you're like, Yeah, Lord,

  6. I'll absolutely do that. Yes, I will.

  7. And then you walk out the doors and you're like, what was I thinking?

  8. Has that ever happened to anybody? Has that happened to you

  9. this week? 'Cause I really would like to not feel alone here. Anyway,

  10. so in prayer time this week, you know, last week we

  11. talked about wells and my encouragement was to dig

  12. another well, you know, as we continue forward. And I can't tell you how

  13. many people have gone, What does that mean? What does that

  14. mean? Tell me what it means to dig a well. And what I

  15. felt like the Holy Spirit said to me was,

  16. show 'em how you do it. Show 'em how you do it. And

  17. so we're all gonna go to my office. Now, since I

  18. can't do that, I'm gonna bring a couple of things out here, if

  19. you'll— this is what reluctant obedience

  20. looks like. Okay. All right, here we

  21. go. You know, there's an exit sign right

  22. over here. I wasn't considering it. Oh,

  23. yes, I was. Move that. Okay. The

  24. audiovisual team is like, somebody help her, get her off of there.

  25. Okay, so Courtney, if this rug looks familiar,

  26. it's because I stole it out of yours and Caitlin's office. But

  27. I admitted it, so. This is what I

  28. do. So I'm gonna take you into my office

  29. with me and hopefully show you how

  30. to dig a Word well. This is the way the Lord does it with

  31. me. And I just want to invite you because he's making me.

  32. Anyway, I just want you to go with me and allow the Holy

  33. Spirit to— I'm just gonna show you the process through which I

  34. dig a Word well. When I begin to— when there's something in the Word

  35. that just grabs my attention, and

  36. I want to go further in it. I want to know what this looks

  37. like. This is the, the way he does that with me.

  38. So anybody want a piece of carpet just right here? You're welcome to. Grab your

  39. Bible, it's going to be right there. Never study

  40. without tissue. Or coffee.

  41. Usually, there's music, so would y'all hum a little bit just for something?

  42. Not really. Okay, so, when the Lord begins to put something on my

  43. heart, I just— I grab my weapons.

  44. And I usually have a couple of Bibles, a couple of translations. I

  45. always like to have an Amplified, an NIV, and just to make

  46. Justin happy, you know, a KJV or something like that.

  47. I will grab my notes from the last time I taught

  48. because I feel like it's gonna be relevant to where we're going the next time.

  49. I will grab that, and I know that he was gonna give us something else,

  50. so I'll grab a fresh notebook. This one's not so fresh because I

  51. have been studying just a little bit, but I will grab those.

  52. Never underestimate the resource power

  53. of an Old Testament survey book or a New Testament

  54. survey book. There is richness in here. If you want to go a little bit

  55. deeper, get you a survey book. Yes. Get yourself a couple of

  56. these. Plus, they're really impressive when you're walking down the street, and you're like,

  57. that's a big book. Anyway, really

  58. good resources. Always

  59. have highlighters, 'cause that— you can't do

  60. anything without highlighters. And I have

  61. my glasses, which I didn't have in First Gathering.

  62. And I have online concordance. My Strong's Concordance

  63. is so huge. The Lord has graced me, allowed me to

  64. find one online, and I use that. It has the Greek and Hebrew lexicons

  65. in it. That sounds like leprechauns, doesn't it? So, I will

  66. gather my tools. I was gonna drag a shovel

  67. out here, but I figured Hal would go, what are you doing with my shovel

  68. anyway? And it just disappeared

  69. from the house. All right, so, here's what we're

  70. gonna do. Father God, I thank you for your Word. I thank you for

  71. your truth. I thank you, Lord, for the way that you reveal yourself to us.

  72. And so, Father, I'm asking today that you teach us to dig a well. Teach

  73. us, Father God, to just take your Word

  74. and go deeper with it, Father God. Teach us, Father, the way to just

  75. come after you. And so, Father, I thank you for this resource in my

  76. life. I thank you, Lord, that you are the master teacher. I thank you

  77. that you are the rabbi who teaches. And so, Father, I pray that that be

  78. the impartation in this room, Father, that— Amen. You teach us

  79. to seek you, to make the wells deeper

  80. in our life, Father, as you supply the resource. In Jesus' name,

  81. amen. Amen. So, this is always, almost always

  82. prompted by something when I'm reading the Word. And so, this time,

  83. as I was going through the scriptures and I was studying about wells, and I

  84. had just left— we had just left last week Genesis 26. And so, I

  85. was reading on over in Genesis 27, and I came across this phrase.

  86. The Dew of Heaven, the Richness of Earth.

  87. And it was the blessing, and it said this, ah, the

  88. smell of my son is like the smell of the

  89. field that the Lord has blessed. May God give you heaven's dew

  90. and earth's richness, an abundance of grain and new

  91. wine. And I'm like, Lord, you know, we can skip right over

  92. that. But the thing that stuck out to me were those 2

  93. things, the— The dew.

  94. Heaven's dew and earth's richness. Heaven's dew and

  95. earth's richness. Here's the thing, guys, God's Word is never just a

  96. word. It's never just one syllable. It's never

  97. just letters. It is life and breath, and there is a pulse

  98. in it, and there's a message in it that if our hearts and our

  99. spirits are open to receive, He will pour into that. And if we just

  100. dig, we will find it. That's right. a little deeper. And so let's dig a

  101. well. Let's dig a well.

  102. And I'm gonna take you to the— so the first thing I do is I

  103. ask the question, what is heaven's dew

  104. and what is earth's richness? And I begin to assemble all of

  105. my options. I begin, I'm like, okay, I'm gonna need to find out. I

  106. wanna know the origin of the word. There's something about that that always gets me.

  107. And there's also something about the Hebrew language that always draws me in. It's like,

  108. talking to someone in their native tongue, you know, whatever it might be. But the

  109. way that it was written in the very beginning, there's a richness to that.

  110. And so, I'm always— that's probably almost always the

  111. first place that I will go. And so, I'm going to need a few options

  112. for that. I'm gonna need my Strong's Concordance. It's got the

  113. Greek and Hebrew lexicons. Sometimes, I'll use

  114. biblegateway.com,

  115. elia.com. There you will find A really

  116. rich resource. It has the Strong's Concordance in

  117. it. It has the Greek. It has the Hebrew. And it will take you

  118. into study tools that I have been able to

  119. utilize this for years now. Blue Letter Bible,

  120. etc. You probably all have your own that you begin to study

  121. from. So, we're carrying that forward. And as I go

  122. to find out what this means, it literally means— What?

  123. Heavens do, in Hebrew, is tal samayim.

  124. Tal samayim. It's masculine. That means it almost comes

  125. from a male point of view. It's like, there's something about

  126. that that gets me. And it— yeah, I get excited because I think about anything

  127. that God's doing and his life force being a part of that.

  128. The do, tal, from heaven, samayim, that's

  129. created by God. And when you look at that right there where it says

  130. created by God, it prompts me always to go back to the Genesis of the

  131. Word. Yes. And what do I mean by that? I

  132. wanna know where it was first mentioned in scripture. I want to know the

  133. first place that it's going to be mentioned in scripture. And it

  134. tells us the first time we hear this word, taal,

  135. shamayim, the first time we hear shamayim is in Genesis 1:1,

    Genesis 1:1

  136. and it says, in the beginning, God created the

  137. heavens and the earth. In the beginning, God created the

  138. heavens and the earth. And then I'm like, okay, all

  139. right, we have the origin. That's the first time we said it, and it was,

  140. It is a place of creation. It is where God just

  141. spoke the blessing of,

  142. let there be heavens. Let this be, as all of these things

  143. became, as He breathed and everything came to be.

  144. And so now I wanna know what taal is. I wanna know what the dew

  145. of heaven is.

  146. But— and it is this. It begins to give us characteristics of

  147. this dew of heaven. Yes. And then it begins to tell

  148. us that it sustains life. Now, wrap this up

  149. in what He did in Genesis 1:1. What He did in

    Genesis 1:1

  150. Genesis 1:1 is when He threw those heavens out there, when

    Genesis 1:1

  151. He created this canopy over the earth, He filled

  152. those heavens with resource. He filled those

  153. heavens with everything that was going to be

  154. needed for us in this time. The dews, the rains, the The idea is

  155. there's a hair. Anyway, all of these things, when he threw them out there,

  156. he threw them out full. And these are the characteristics, if you research

  157. this dew, it says it sustains life, it

  158. arrives quietly. Let me give you that. Gently,

  159. without thunder, without lightning, without

  160. announcement, the morning is touched by heaven.

  161. Think about that, guys. We wake up morning after morning

  162. and the dew has coated the ground. The dew has covered. It

  163. didn't announce itself when it happened. And it was a natural

  164. thing for us just to expect that when we wake up,

  165. the earth would be covered with dew, right? Didn't

  166. announce itself. See, that's the God that I know.

  167. Now, can he thunder? Absolutely he can

  168. thunder. Can he send the lightning? Oh yeah, and he does.

  169. But those moments where you expect him in the lightning, but you

  170. find him in the dew— That's right. In the morning.

  171. In the morning. See, when you're— when you are Him,

  172. you don't have to announce yourself. You don't have to have a

  173. trumpet. You don't have to have that.

  174. Then— oh, there we go. And then it says—

  175. I'm just taking you— everything you see written up here is off

  176. me sitting at the computer going, oh wait, I'm excited! Wait a minute!

  177. What was that passage? When I read this, it comes gently, it comes quietly, it's,

  178. you know, it wasn't lightning, it wasn't thunder. And it triggers

  179. something on the inside of me that goes, wait a minute, I've heard this before.

  180. Wait a minute, where have I heard this before? It wasn't lightning, it wasn't

  181. thunder, it wasn't in the wind, it wasn't in the earthquake. And I'm like, oh,

  182. that was Elijah! That was Elijah! And so, I

  183. wanna hear about that. And so, I will grab my Bible and I will go.

  184. I wanna see what it says. So if you have your Bible, Turn to 1

  185. Kings 19.

  186. You know, this is nothing like my office because I've been sitting here for a

  187. while and I haven't heard once,

  188. are you in there? And I'm like, yes, I am, but I'm

  189. pretending not to be. Okay, 1 Kings 19.

  190. Go down to verse 11. It says, the Lord said, go

  191. out and stand on the mountain. He's talking to Elijah,

  192. and Elijah's had a rough day. Elijah has retreated into the caves,

  193. and he says, the Lord said, go out and stand on the mountain in the

  194. presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by. Then a

  195. great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered

  196. the rocks before the Lord, but the Lord was not in the wind.

  197. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the Lord was not in

  198. the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the

  199. Lord was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle

  200. whisper. When Elijah heard it,

  201. he pulled his cloak over his face,

  202. and he went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a

  203. voice said to him, What are you doing here, Elijah?

  204. What are you doing here, Elijah?

  205. And he goes down to verse 15, and the Lord says to— Elijah tells him,

  206. you know, they're trying to kill me, Lord. And the Lord says,

  207. go back the way you came. Go back the way you came. And

  208. in the middle of this study, as I'm learning about dew, and I'm learning about

  209. the richness of earth, and I'm learning about all of this, I'm looking back and

  210. going, oh, wait. He wasn't in the lightning. He wasn't in the fire. He

  211. wasn't in the wind or the earthquake, but he was in that gentle voice.

  212. And I'm like, oh, that's— then that's the element of part of that, that

  213. dew that he brings into our life morning by

  214. morning, his voice. But you know

  215. what's even better?

  216. If you've got your Bible, go to Hosea. Yes.

  217. 14:5. Hosea 14:5,

    Hosea 14:5

  218. and it says this, I

  219. will be like the dew, the tall, to

  220. Israel. I will be like the dew to

  221. Israel. I'm like, oh God, you are so faithful! All

  222. of those elements that we just read about, you are that which

  223. sustains life, you are that gentle voice, you are the truth,

  224. Without lightning, no need to announce yourself. You are

  225. dew that we wake up to every single

  226. morning. Every single morning.

  227. But you know what's cool too? I know, but

  228. wait, there's more! There's Ginsu knives!

  229. I will be the dew that falls to Israel.

  230. He is the Ta'alel. He is the

  231. Ta'alel, the dew of God. Or

  232. Ta'alei, the dew of the Lord. The

  233. refreshing of the Lord. This constant source that pours

  234. into our life, that gives and pours and is there

  235. for us. And see, now it just begins to

  236. take shape. When— now when you look at it and you

  237. go, The dew of heaven. The dew

  238. of heaven. The well's a little deeper. The well's a little deeper. It has a

  239. little bit more context. You're like, oh, wait a minute. When,

  240. when that is spoken, and you are the dew of heaven, Lord, I hear you

  241. saying you will sustain me. I hear you saying that you supply

  242. me, that you speak to me in gentle voices and lead me

  243. in places, that you beckon me to come out when I want to hide.

  244. all of these things that are wrapped up in that

  245. blessing of the Lord. And so now when we read it,

  246. when God created the heavens, He placed within them a

  247. life-sustaining provision. And, and the prayer is that

  248. may He release over you what He established from the beginning,

  249. coming gently, quietly, without

  250. thunder, like His whisper to Elijah.

  251. Horeb. May it fall upon your life morning after morning, quiet,

  252. constant, and never exhausted in supply.

  253. And you dig a little deeper because in Him there is

  254. always more. Always more.

  255. Okay, ready? Let's dig a little deeper. Let's go to Exodus.

  256. Let's go to Exodus chapter 16. Exodus chapter 16.

Exodus 16 chapter mention Exodus 16 chapter mention

  257. Exodus chapter 16. Oh, I love His Word!

    Exodus 16 chapter mention

  258. It's just, oh, it is water to me!

  259. It is water to me! Okay, we are in Exodus. The children of

  260. Israel have been complaining, and grumbling, and they're upset. What they would

  261. really like are the leeks and the garlics that they had back in Egypt,

  262. and God is getting ready to supply something for them that they didn't even know

  263. that they needed. And in verse 11 it says, The Lord said to

  264. Moses, I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Tell

  265. them, at twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning

  266. you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the Lord

  267. your God. Now, 13, the evening— that evening

  268. quail came and covered the camp, and in the morning there

  269. was a layer of dew around the camp. When

  270. the dew was gone, Thin flakes like frost on the

  271. ground appeared on the desert floor. When the

  272. Israelites saw it, they said to each other, what is it? For they

  273. did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, it is the

  274. bread the Lord has given you to eat.

  275. When the dew lifted, the manna appeared.

  276. When the dew lifted, the manna appeared. So now that goes back to

  277. sustaining and resourcing. Here's the cool thing to me.

  278. Let me give you this. The provision of God was

  279. lying beneath the dew. And guys, it always has been.

  280. It always has been. The dew, the

  281. impartation that the Lord has made into our

  282. lives, that He's poured, that He's given, His provision is there.

  283. And what's really interesting to me, and And I have this

  284. tendency to, you know, I'll do this and then I'll have my takeaways

  285. over here, and I'll write those down so that I remember. And my takeaway

  286. from this one is sometimes

  287. God does not reveal what we need until we need it, and even when

  288. we may not recognize it.

  289. You ever come up against somebody that you know the Lord has called them

  290. to something, and they're like, oh, I can't do that. I cannot do that.

  291. Well, you've never needed to before. So you might not have

  292. what you needed in order to do what he's called you to do, but

  293. the moment you step in to do what he has called you to do, he

  294. resources you. He equips you. And

  295. I just find this interesting because they didn't even know

  296. what it was, and sometimes God resources us and we do not recognize

  297. it. We do not see that he has already provided what we

  298. need For this time. I love that. I love that they called it

  299. manna. What is it? Sometimes we live in those places

  300. of manna. As we add

  301. these layers, as we add these layers, these stones of truth,

  302. the well begins to take shape. It gains strength, structure, depth,

  303. and beauty. See what I'm saying? It's like when you're adding all of

  304. these elements to it, it begins to take on— oh, I

  305. didn't see that there. Oh, you were trying to tell me what? What? And

  306. his resources are right there. All right,

  307. but grab the shovel. We're

  308. gonna go a little bit further because see, the deeper you take the well,

  309. the colder the water. Grab the

  310. shovel, there's still work to do. Why is there still work to do? Because

  311. Isaac didn't stop with this. He didn't stop with, you will give you heaven's due.

  312. He went deeper and he said, there's also the richness of earth. Yes. So, we

  313. need to know what that means, too, because these are complementary

  314. issues, elements that he's bringing into

  315. our realm. And so, we— what do we do? We go back to the references

  316. that we did in the beginning. For me, I would go back to the lexicon.

  317. I would go back to the resource, and I would go, okay, show me what

  318. this means. Show me what this means. And back to the genesis of the word,

  319. earth's fill— earth's richness. Mashayim.

  320. Mashmane hayaretz. What does that even

  321. mean? Well, I'm going to tell you what it means because I looked it up,

  322. and it means this. It's a Hebrew expression, and it

  323. speaks of the fatness of the earth, extreme

  324. agricultural fertility, fruitfulness, and abundance of all He has

  325. created and supplied. And my favorite part in this,

  326. that He has supplied For our access.

  327. For our access. He put it there for you.

  328. And he put it there for you. And he gave this

  329. richness, this— the dew of heaven and the richness of earth

  330. for you. For you to access. Not just to walk by

  331. it and go, oh, that's cool. I'm so glad that that's there. But to access

  332. it. It is for your use. And this happens all the

  333. time. And so, don't be surprised if it happens to you.

  334. A squirrel came into my office. And I'm like, oh, wait a minute, wait a

  335. minute, squirrel! Sometimes a squirrel sounds like this, and

  336. sometimes it sounds like a phone ringing, and sometimes it sounds like

  337. this. Words that go neon and go,

  338. okay, make a note to yourself because you are gonna go back and

  339. you are going to look up how you access

  340. How do I access

  341. this richness? How do I look? And

  342. I will mark that as a side note so that I know I wanna

  343. go back and add to this well at some point because it's gonna be important

  344. and I don't wanna forget it. And I will forget it if I don't write

  345. it down, so I'll write it down. All right, so back to

  346. the concordance. I look at this earth's richness, and the next

  347. question I normally ask is, does this appear anywhere else in

  348. Scripture? And if it appears somewhere else in Scripture, what is its

  349. context? And is it consistent with what I'm seeing

  350. here in this context? Move the

  351. squirrel back to concordance. And yes, it

  352. does. It does appear in Scripture in Genesis 27. We've

  353. just been in Genesis 26. Yes. Go to Genesis 27,

  354. and if you go to verse 38 and 39, it says,

  355. Esau said to his father, do you have

  356. only one blessing, my father? Because see, Jacob just

  357. received his— the blessing that should have been his, and Esau

  358. realizes the blessing has been taken. And he goes, and he goes in

  359. tears to his father, and he says, do you not have another blessing for me?

  360. Yes, I do.

  361. Bless me too, my father!

  362. Then Esau wept aloud, and his father Isaac

  363. answered him, your dwelling will be away

  364. from the earth's richness, away

  365. from the dew of heaven above.

  366. That just broke my heart. It broke my

  367. heart to go away

  368. from all of those things we've just talked about. It will be away from those

  369. things. And the

  370. powerful contrast between the same 2 elements being

  371. present and being absent from someone's

  372. life, that tells you there's the possibility of that, right? Yes.

  373. If you look into it, if you begin to look at it.

  374. And then scripture takes us to Genesis. It takes us back to

  375. Genesis 49:25, Jacob's blessing spoken

    Genesis 49:25

  376. over Joseph. Blessings of heaven above,

  377. blessings of the deep that lie below. So we know

  378. that it's there. And then again, in the blessing over

  379. Joseph in Deuteronomy, it says, may the Lord bless you—

  380. I'm sorry, may the Lord bless Yes. His land with the tal

  381. samayim, with the dew of heaven above.

  382. That's Deuteronomy 33:13-16.

    Deuteronomy 33:13–16

  383. Here's the thing, guys, as I'm looking at this, and I'm looking at Isaac, and

  384. I'm looking at Jacob, and now I'm looking at Joseph, and all of a sudden

  385. it hits me. These are generational wells! These

  386. blessings are generational blessings that are being passed down on the

  387. breath of the fathers, and, and And so, there's another element

  388. to that, that blessing of above and beneath as he's

  389. pouring into Joseph. And now I get it. And guys, we need to

  390. understand that the wells that we dig can

  391. become generational wells. The blessings that

  392. we walk in, in our life, we need to be speaking over our

  393. children and over our grandchildren so that they

  394. understand that these are for their access as well.

  395. Dig the wells so that your children can rest by them

  396. until it's time for them to dig another well. Like

  397. Joseph, we are blessed with blessings of the deep

  398. waters that lie below. I so love his

  399. Word, his truth. But then there are these other things that

  400. if you dig just a little bit deeper, kind of

  401. like in Marvel, you pick up things if you stay for the credits

  402. and you're like, oh wait, that's part of the next. And There are

  403. Easter eggs that— they're hidden treasures that you only discover when you

  404. slow down, look closer, and dig a little bit deeper. And that is

  405. what the Lord took me to in this next passage. You think you've

  406. learned it, so we're gonna go back to Deuteronomy 33.

  407. And who wrote Deuteronomy? Moses.

  408. Moses. Absolutely. This makes me feel like,

  409. you know, who was it? Oh, I can't do it

  410. because I'll get busted because I don't know the name.

  411. Justin will know the name. What's the name of the dude that wrote all the

  412. Marvel stuff? Stan Lee. Stan Lee.

  413. You know how he always found a way, or Alfred Hitchcock, they found a way

  414. to be in their own movies? I see Moses do this.

  415. 'Cause seriously, if you go to Deuteronomy 33,

  416. it says, he's telling Joseph, may the Lord bless his land

  417. with the precious dew from heaven above and with deep waters that lie below, with

  418. the best the sun brings forth and the finest the moon can

  419. yield, with the choicest gifts of the ancient mountains and the

  420. fruitfulness of the everlasting hills, with the best gifts of the

  421. earth and its fullness. And the

  422. favor of Him who dwelt in the

  423. burning bush. And I'm like, oh, Moses, no

  424. you didn't! You just told him about one of your own experiences here! It's

  425. like, the favor of Him who

  426. dwelt in the burning bush. Let all these rest on

  427. the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince

  428. among his brothers. Yes. I love that

  429. Moses is telling the story of Isaac blessing Jacob, who would

  430. later bless Joseph, and woven into that blessing is something

  431. from Moses' own encounter. His own

  432. encounter. I love stuff like that. I love it, and I miss it

  433. if we don't just dig a little bit deeper and slow down and listen

  434. to what he's saying. The favor of Him who dwells

  435. in the burning bush. Guys, I pray that for you,

  436. that you would know the favor of Him who

  437. spoke from that burning bush, that you would know His

  438. favor! The breath blessing is so

  439. important, guys, because I can think all day.

  440. You all are so blessed, but you don't know it yet. Yeah. Because it

  441. hasn't passed on breath yet. And a breath blessing

  442. comes out, it releases something into the universe that is

  443. Bless me and I will be blessed. That's what the Word—

  444. Sidebar, the research that they are doing now about sound

  445. waves, and sound waves being trapped to the point that

  446. they will hit something, an inanimate object, and they will just begin to spin

  447. there. And they are looking now at technologies that can

  448. go and literally retrieve sound waves from

  449. forever ago. That are trapped to be

  450. translated. You know why that's true? Because he spoke and it

  451. came to be. There was life in his words, and

  452. life has never left his words. When he sends

  453. them, the scriptures say they will not return void unto

  454. him, but will accomplish everything that they are sent to do.

  455. So when a blessing is spoken over you,

  456. receive it. Yes. Receive it! Receive it! Allow it

  457. to begin to just spin in your heart, in your

  458. soul, in your spirit, and come to life! The favor

  459. of Him who dwelt in the burning bush!

  460. Here's the thing, the do—

  461. oh, did I go back?

  462. The dew is His blessing. The richness is His

  463. provision. But the water in the depths of the well,

  464. that's Him! That's Him!

  465. The water in the depths of the well, it's Him! And if we

  466. will go deeper, if we will dig into His truth,

  467. we're always going to find Him there! We're always going to find Him there!

  468. You're always going to find revelation in the depths of Yes. Of

  469. the well. And that's what— when I say dig

  470. a well, that's what I'm talking

  471. about. To allow things to come to

  472. light, and to come to life, and to dig a little deeper

  473. until you find the water that sustains you. And

  474. whatever it might be, whatever the word is, whatever goes

  475. neon to you in Scripture, to go, Lord, show me what this

  476. Show me what it looks like throughout the Word. And allow the Lord— it's

  477. like having a stick figure with no cover, no

  478. clothes, no hair, no nothing. And then the Lord starts putting

  479. layers on. Connie, you're an artist. You can start with nothing

  480. and create the most beautiful universe. That's what He does

  481. with His Word. We are the blank canvas.

  482. If we will just let Him paint, if we will just let Him do

  483. what He does. That's right. And teach us. He is the master

  484. rabbi. He is the one who has the answers. And

  485. so now, now when you take that from the very beginning

  486. and you go, may God give you heaven's

  487. dew and the earth's

  488. richness, the blessing of the tal

  489. samayim and the mishmani hayaretz. May

  490. God give you those. It's a whole

  491. different body of water. Yes. There's depth to it,

  492. that you have frame of reference, you have context, you

  493. have all of the beauty of the Word and the life

  494. in the middle of it. And that's the power of blessing

  495. as seen from the depths of wells that we purpose to dig.

  496. There is blessing in digging deeper

  497. into the Word. There is blessing and there is life. And as the

  498. Lord is calling us in this body into deeper places

  499. in the Word to become people who are

  500. grounded by the Word, not by circumstances, not

  501. moved, not changed, because the Word doesn't change. And the God

  502. behind the Word, the living Word, does not change. And so the

  503. Lord is inviting us, I believe, to dig deeper wells. Amen.

  504. So that when the waves come, or the wind comes, or the

  505. earthquake comes, or whatever comes, we hear Him in the

  506. stillness of His voice. We know the gentleness of His

  507. whisper, and we know who it is who's calling us to

  508. the edge of the cave. And so we're getting ready— hold

  509. on, I just shut that and I wanted to give you some— one

  510. more thing. We're getting ready. Worship team, if you'd come out, feel free to sit

  511. right here next to me. Because we're going to dig

  512. another well, but this time we're going to do it with worship

  513. in a different way, with the understanding— let me move that—

  514. with the understanding that the well

  515. can be deeper. We're getting ready to sing The Blessing,

  516. and I know the last few times that I have taught, we have

  517. just really praised as we went out. Yes. Today, because

  518. of the strength and the power of the blessing, I'm inviting you, and I'm

  519. gonna join you right here. They're getting ready to sing the blessing, and

  520. it is a breath blessing. And

  521. as you release it, recognize it as such that you

  522. are sending a living word into the

  523. room with the people that you love and that God has called you

  524. to minister to. So speak it with authority. Yes. Speak it

  525. with truth. Speak it with truth and sing it. And guys, we're going to gather

  526. right here and we are going to stand under this blessing

  527. because let me tell you, it starts, it says, the Lord bless

  528. you and keep you. That's Deuteronomy— I'm sorry,

  529. Numbers 6:24-26.

    Numbers 6:24–26

  530. They're going to talk about a covenant to a thousand generations,

  531. Deuteronomy 7:9. He will never leave you.

    Deuteronomy 7:9

  532. He'll go before you and behind you. Deuteronomy 31:8.

    Deuteronomy 31:8

  533. Psalm 139:5. Within you. Psalm

    Psalms 139:5 Psalms 30:5

  534. 30:5. Exodus 33:14. May his

    Exodus 33:14

  535. presence always go before you, behind us,

  536. around us. Be with us. Deuteronomy 28:6. In your

    Deuteronomy 28:6

  537. coming and your going, he is with you.

  538. He is with you. This is the blessing.

  539. If you need a blessing of any of those Amen. I'm

  540. inviting you, we're going to stand right here, and when it goes,

  541. amen, amen, we're going to sing it.

  542. We are saying, so let it be. So

  543. let it be. May Your presence go before me. May it be

  544. behind me. Encircle this house, Father God. I'm

  545. praying the blessings of the Lord, the covering

  546. of God The dew of heaven

  547. in this house. So Father, we

  548. thank you for sending us the dew of heaven

  549. and the richness of earth. We thank you for the provision that you have made

  550. and your still small voice that draws us to the edge of the cave

  551. every single time. Jesus' name. You

  552. want to join me? Yes. Amen. Guys, let's pronounce that blessing.
