  1. Luke of Psalms and Psalm 61.

  2. Psalm 61.

  3. Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer.

  4. From the end of the earth I call to you.

  5. When my heart is faint, lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

  6. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the enemy.

  7. Let me dwell in your tent forever.

  8. Let me take refuge under the shelter of your wings.

  9. Now I suppose if anybody popped their head in here tonight and looked around,

  10. they would say, well, this is a very peaceful place.

  11. It would look so calm and peaceful.

  12. But, of course, we have no idea what might be going on personally in everybody's heart here.

  13. Some people, it might be peaceful.

  14. Some people, they might be very contentious now because life is going very smoothly.

  15. But maybe for others it's anything but.

  16. We often don't display just what is going on within our own hearts.

  17. And there might be many personal conflicts and many personal troubles.

  18. We might feel overwhelmed.

  19. Might be filled with doubts and fears and all sorts of things.

  20. And one of the things sometimes that distresses the Christian is that they think that they shouldn't be like that.

  21. They think that it's because their faith must be lacking.

  22. That there's something wrong because they're thinking that as a Christian,

  23. we should have the faith to commit everything to the Lord.

  24. That there should be a settled peace within us.

  25. We remember that Jesus says,

  26. My peace I give you, not as the world gives, give I unto you.

  27. And so there's this sense that there must be something wrong with my faith,

  28. something wrong with me as a Christian,

  29. if I feel troubled and anxious and overwhelmed.

  30. Well, we've got to remember that the man who penned this psalm, David,

  31. was a man termed a man after God's own heart.

  32. And David was a man who enjoyed much fellowship with the Lord,

  33. a man who had great times,

  34. a man who was a man of great praise.

  35. But he was also somebody who knew what it was to be troubled.

  36. And when we go through the psalms, particularly the Davidic psalms,

  37. you will find that there is almost a constant theme.

  38. There are some psalms that are so full of praise,

  39. but this psalm is so typical, it begins with the urgent cry,

  40. and yet it finishes with a sense of triumph and praise.

  41. And that is often where we too will be led

  42. as we go through all the different experiences that we go through in life.

  43. And David knew what it was like to be troubled.

  44. Sometimes he knew that trouble brought about by enemies.

  45. It had nothing to do with anything with himself,

  46. just as the enemies against God and against God's kingdom.

  47. And he as a representative was at the forefront of that assault.

  48. But sometimes also the troubles were brought about by his own sin,

  49. by his own failings.

  50. So he knew what it was like on all different levels to be troubled.

  51. And so we find David here that he is in absolute distress.

  52. And he begins by saying,

  53. hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer.

  54. And when he says that, you can see this,

  55. there's a real urgency in David's prayer here.

  56. Now, I know that you know,

  57. but I know a lot of people think that prayer

  58. is simply just going through a form of repetition.

  59. People think that prayer is just mumbling a few words to God,

  60. that it is something that a Christian has to do,

  61. but it's just part of what they do.

  62. And some people almost have the idea

  63. that if they just say a wee word,

  64. then that's fine.

  65. They say, well, I've spoken to God today.

  66. But you and I know that real prayer comes from the heart.

  67. It is urgent.

  68. It is meaningful.

  69. It's wonderful.

  70. When we really need God,

  71. we really pray.

  72. And I'm sure we've all gone through different times

  73. where we've just gone through the process of prayer.

  74. Christians do that.

  75. There are times that we've maybe lost the edge

  76. and we just go through the motions.

  77. But there are other times

  78. when it's a real cry.

  79. It's an urgent cry.

  80. You listen to a little baby cry.

  81. And whether they're crying for food

  82. or crying because they're uncomfortable

  83. or cry because they're needing change,

  84. they really cry.

  85. Well, that's the kind of cry

  86. that the Lord's people make.

  87. It is a real heartfelt cry.

  88. And so David is here praying

  89. and he's in desperation.

  90. And he's saying,

  91. hear, Lord, listen.

  92. And the idea here,

  93. hear my cry, O Lord,

  94. listen to my prayer.

  95. It's got the idea of attend to it.

  96. Don't just hear my voice.

  97. Listen to my voice in such a way

  98. that you will attend to the matter

  99. that I'm bringing before you.

  100. And if you and I attend to something,

  101. it means that

  102. if we're going to attend to something,

  103. we push other things aside

  104. and we say,

  105. well, I've got to attend to this right now.

  106. And so we're going to give all our attention to it.

  107. And that's like what David is saying.

  108. Lord, I want you to give all your attention

  109. to this right now.

  110. Now, I know we talk about

  111. how some people are able to multitask.

  112. And I believe some people are.

  113. I haven't a clue how you multitask,

  114. but I know that some people are able.

  115. But even the best person who can multitask

  116. cannot give their full attention

  117. to everything at the same time.

  118. There is only really one thing

  119. that you can really focus on.

  120. If you've got a few very important things to do,

  121. you cannot do them all together.

  122. But the Lord can.

  123. The Lord is able to attend

  124. to everybody's needs

  125. at the same time

  126. and to give full attention

  127. to everything that is being required.

  128. So David is saying here,

  129. Lord, give all your attention.

  130. Please hear my cry.

  131. Listen to my prayer.

  132. And then we find that David is here,

  133. that he's praying

  134. and he's saying that

  135. it's as if you're at the ends of the earth.

  136. From the end of the earth,

  137. I call to you.

  138. Now, of course,

  139. David was displaced at this time.

  140. We don't know the background to it.

  141. There were two major times in David's life

  142. where he was away from home

  143. and away from his comforts,

  144. away from the throne,

  145. away from the sanctuary,

  146. from the tabernacle.

  147. And we know one of them

  148. was when he was on a run from Saul.

  149. And he spent years

  150. barely escaping with his life.

  151. It could have come from this period.

  152. But people think more than likely

  153. it came from the time

  154. where there was

  155. Absalom's rebellion against him,

  156. where his own son

  157. rose up,

  158. turned the hearts of the people

  159. against David

  160. because he wanted to take over the throne.

  161. And it was one of the most

  162. heartbreaking periods in David's life.

  163. And you cannot but read

  164. when Absalom was killed,

  165. the absolute heartbroken distress

  166. that David was in

  167. because he loved Absalom, his son.

  168. And yet here's his son

  169. wanting to kill him.

  170. So David, remember how he had to run.

  171. He had to leave, as we say,

  172. leave his throne,

  173. leave his home,

  174. leave Jerusalem,

  175. leave the city of God,

  176. as it were,

  177. leave the sanctuary,

  178. the tent of meeting.

  179. He had to leave all that.

  180. So although it is not geographically

  181. the ends of the earth,

  182. it is spiritually speaking,

  183. the ends of the earth.

  184. He's so displaced, as it were,

  185. so far away.

  186. And so David is crying here

  187. with all his heart

  188. that the Lord would hear him.

  189. And we find that David is saying,

  190. from the end of the earth,

  191. I call to you

  192. when my heart is faint.

  193. And again,

  194. the idea here

  195. of the heart being faint

  196. is of being overwhelmed,

  197. of distressed,

  198. depressed.

  199. All these words come into it.

  200. Areas of depression,

  201. areas of just despair,

  202. almost.

  203. And we've got to remember,

  204. Christians go there.

  205. You know,

  206. sometimes people say,

  207. oh, Christians can't be depressed.

  208. Christians cannot be troubled

  209. with anxiety.

  210. Of course they can.

  211. David knew all about these things.

  212. David experienced

  213. the highest of highs,

  214. but he experienced

  215. the darkest of lows as well.

  216. And that's part of what

  217. makes the Psalms,

  218. the book of Psalms,

  219. such a wonderful book.

  220. Because wherever you are tonight,

  221. you will find,

  222. if you go through the Psalms,

  223. you will find there

  224. your experience.

  225. You will find

  226. where you're at.

  227. Because sometimes

  228. when you go through the Psalms,

  229. you will find the Psalmists

  230. speaking with a boldness

  231. that you'd be frightened

  232. to speak with

  233. before God.

  234. Sometimes there's an anger

  235. comes through.

  236. Sometimes there's a confusion

  237. comes through.

  238. Sometimes great questions

  239. come through.

  240. Sometimes when you read them,

  241. you'd say,

  242. you know,

  243. I would be scared

  244. to speak like that.

  245. But it's so encouraging

  246. for us to see

  247. this is a word of God.

  248. And this is a place

  249. where God's people

  250. sometimes are.

  251. That's where David was

  252. at this particular time.

  253. And so David cries,

  254. Lord, he says,

  255. lead me to the rock

  256. that is higher than I.

  257. And you see in verse 3,

  258. he says,

  259. for you have been

  260. my refuge.

  261. Now David is talking here

  262. about something

  263. he wants to happen

  264. and something

  265. that has happened

  266. before.

  267. And that's very much

  268. how David

  269. kind of goes in life.

  270. You remember when David

  271. went out to fight Goliath?

  272. He said to Saul,

  273. look,

  274. it's all right.

  275. God,

  276. in the past,

  277. I have fought the lion

  278. and I have fought the bear

  279. and I defeated both.

  280. And because God

  281. helped me there,

  282. he will help me again.

  283. So David is always

  284. looking back

  285. on what God

  286. has done for him

  287. in the past,

  288. convinced that God

  289. will do for him

  290. in the future.

  291. And we should do that as well.

  292. We should look back

  293. and remember

  294. because, you know,

  295. there are times

  296. if we're down

  297. and distressed,

  298. sometimes we can't

  299. lay hold upon

  300. what God has actually

  301. done for us.

  302. And we need his help.

  303. We need sometimes

  304. to ask the Lord,

  305. Lord, refocus.

  306. Help me to look back

  307. and to see the blessings

  308. that you have actually

  309. blessed me with.

  310. Because sometimes

  311. we lose sight

  312. of these things.

  313. And some of these blessings

  314. even come in the hard times,

  315. even the things that,

  316. the difficult times

  317. that we go through,

  318. we're able to identify

  319. the blessings

  320. that we have actually

  321. received in them.

  322. So David is here saying,

  323. lead me to the rock

  324. that is higher than I.

  325. Now a rock we always

  326. think of as a place

  327. of a stronghold

  328. and somewhere

  329. it's a good viewpoint.

  330. Somewhere safe.

  331. Get up onto a rock.

  332. The first psalm

  333. that we sang,

  334. Psalm 40,

  335. talks about this rock.

  336. And you can never

  337. look on the rock

  338. or read about the rock

  339. without thinking

  340. of the great picture

  341. that the Bible

  342. so often gives

  343. of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  344. And in fact,

  345. we even see

  346. the symbolism

  347. of that

  348. in the Old Testament

  349. where Moses

  350. struck the rock

  351. and the water

  352. came out.

  353. And Jesus Christ,

  354. of course,

  355. is the ultimate rock

  356. who was,

  357. he was struck

  358. in order

  359. that we

  360. may live.

  361. But in that psalm,

  362. Psalm 40,

  363. we have the picture

  364. there of

  365. in the fearful pit

  366. and miry clay

  367. and the cry

  368. and being taken

  369. from it

  370. with our feet

  371. put upon a rock

  372. and our way

  373. established.

  374. Now, of course,

  375. that is a once

  376. and for all

  377. that happens

  378. when we're converted.

  379. And that will

  380. never,

  381. in a sense,

  382. be

  383. replicated

  384. again in our life.

  385. But the experiences

  386. will go on

  387. over and over

  388. and over again.

  389. We will constantly

  390. be crying

  391. to the Lord

  392. to deliver us

  393. from the different pits

  394. that we find

  395. ourselves in

  396. and to

  397. give us

  398. a sense

  399. again

  400. of our feet

  401. of being

  402. upon the rock

  403. that is Christ.

  404. Because everything

  405. else in this life,

  406. it doesn't matter

  407. what philosophies

  408. or strategies,

  409. it doesn't matter

  410. what plans

  411. or people,

  412. it doesn't matter,

  413. everything ultimately

  414. will fail.

  415. Everything else

  416. will give up

  417. or give in.

  418. except Christ.

  419. And so there's

  420. this great

  421. sense of the rock.

  422. You know,

  423. sometimes at a

  424. human level,

  425. maybe when you

  426. go through a,

  427. you may be going

  428. through a particularly

  429. difficult time

  430. and you look back

  431. and you'll remember

  432. one or two

  433. or a few people

  434. and they stuck

  435. with you

  436. through thick

  437. and thin.

  438. they didn't

  439. shift,

  440. they didn't

  441. flinch,

  442. they were there

  443. and so often

  444. you'll say,

  445. you know,

  446. he or she,

  447. he was a rock

  448. to me.

  449. She was a rock

  450. to me.

  451. In that time

  452. where I was

  453. going through

  454. so much trouble,

  455. they were there

  456. for me

  457. just like a rock.

  458. Well,

  459. that's a picture

  460. of the supreme

  461. rock

  462. who is Jesus Christ

  463. and he and he

  464. alone can give us

  465. what nobody else

  466. can and so he is

  467. this rock of defense

  468. and this rock

  469. of refuge.

  470. But when we see

  471. here,

  472. David says,

  473. lead me to the rock.

  474. In other words,

  475. he's asking for help.

  476. I can't,

  477. I can't get there

  478. myself and you

  479. and I know that.

  480. We can't,

  481. we can't work

  482. that up ourselves.

  483. We are dependent

  484. upon his grace

  485. and his help.

  486. Then he says,

  487. for you have been

  488. my refuge

  489. and it's interesting,

  490. David is then

  491. starting to move

  492. as it were

  493. into a greater

  494. degree of personalness.

  495. You have been

  496. my refuge,

  497. a strong tower

  498. against the enemy.

  499. He used this

  500. strong tower

  501. and gets the idea

  502. that not only

  503. is it a defense

  504. but that strength

  505. is being imparted

  506. as well.

  507. That's what the Lord

  508. does to you

  509. and to me,

  510. isn't it?

  511. He gives us

  512. strength.

  513. His strength

  514. is made perfect

  515. in our weakness

  516. and many a time

  517. we've felt weak

  518. facing what we've

  519. had to face.

  520. Every day

  521. there's a sense

  522. of our inability

  523. to walk the walk.

  524. There are times

  525. when we feel

  526. we're being overcome

  527. by temptation.

  528. Times we feel

  529. we're being overcome

  530. by sin.

  531. sometimes we think

  532. how am I going

  533. to make it on?

  534. But you know this,

  535. the Lord keeps us

  536. going.

  537. So they from strength

  538. and weary

  539. go,

  540. still forward

  541. unto strength.

  542. That's how the Lord

  543. takes us.

  544. His strength

  545. being made perfect

  546. in our weakness.

  547. But then

  548. the psalmist

  549. moves in verse 4

  550. and he says

  551. he's moving now

  552. into the place

  553. of fellowship.

  554. Let me dwell

  555. in your tent

  556. forever.

  557. And again

  558. that's so often

  559. the prayer

  560. of David.

  561. You think of

  562. Psalm 27

  563. and it's just

  564. this delight

  565. to be in God's house.

  566. This is the place.

  567. And you know

  568. that's one of the

  569. wonderful things.

  570. It's wonderful

  571. like in a midweek

  572. meeting

  573. because as I say

  574. maybe some of you

  575. came in here tonight

  576. and you were

  577. distressed in heart.

  578. Nobody else

  579. could see it.

  580. And you know

  581. sometimes when we're

  582. sometimes when we're

  583. distressed

  584. and when we're

  585. almost

  586. our thinking

  587. is all kind of

  588. displaced

  589. it's hard to pray

  590. because we're

  591. kind of

  592. we're all over

  593. the place.

  594. But you know

  595. there's something

  596. wonderful when we

  597. come to God's house

  598. because God

  599. has a way

  600. of dealing with us

  601. when we come

  602. together like this.

  603. If Asaph

  604. who wrote

  605. Psalm 73

  606. was here

  607. with us tonight

  608. he would say

  609. you know

  610. there's no place

  611. like God's house.

  612. I was all over

  613. the place

  614. Asaph would say.

  615. I was in a

  616. terrible state.

  617. My mind

  618. was

  619. turning cartwheels.

  620. I was envying

  621. the godless.

  622. I was here

  623. there and everywhere

  624. until I went

  625. to God's house.

  626. And when he went

  627. there

  628. the Lord

  629. restored his focus.

  630. and he began

  631. to see that

  632. the very people

  633. that he was

  634. envying

  635. he actually

  636. should be

  637. pitting them.

  638. That they were

  639. on a slippery

  640. slope heading

  641. to destruction.

  642. And that's why

  643. he goes on to say

  644. whom have I

  645. in the heavens

  646. high but

  647. thee O Lord

  648. alone

  649. and in the

  650. earth whom I

  651. desire

  652. besides thee

  653. there is none.

  654. There's the

  655. therapy

  656. of God's

  657. house.

  658. God is a

  659. great work

  660. of restoration

  661. in his house.

  662. And so

  663. you can understand

  664. why David

  665. is saying

  666. here I am

  667. I'm crying

  668. as it were

  669. from the

  670. end to the

  671. earth.

  672. Oh I

  673. long to get

  674. back

  675. to dwell

  676. in your tent.

  677. And then he

  678. goes then

  679. it's even more

  680. it's closer

  681. still let me

  682. take refuge

  683. under the

  684. shelter of

  685. your wings.

  686. It's that

  687. picture that

  688. we often

  689. find in

  690. the Bible

  691. as the

  692. Lord speaks

  693. to us

  694. in the

  695. beautiful

  696. imagery

  697. in different

  698. ways of

  699. just like

  700. the mother

  701. bird

  702. sheltering

  703. the chicks.

  704. We sang

  705. about it

  706. in Psalm

  707. 91

  708. about his

  709. feathers

  710. and it's

  711. a place

  712. of warmth

  713. the place

  714. of protection

  715. the place

  716. of nearness

  717. the place

  718. of love

  719. that's what

  720. the Lord

  721. does with

  722. us.

  723. He shelters

  724. us and

  725. keeps us

  726. close to

  727. himself.

  728. And so

  729. as David

  730. is working

  731. his way

  732. through

  733. by the

  734. time he's

  735. come to

  736. this stage

  737. you can

  738. see that

  739. he's moved

  740. from the

  741. desperation.

  742. Yes he's

  743. still in

  744. desperation

  745. but you

  746. know this

  747. is what

  748. happens when

  749. we're in

  750. touch with

  751. God

  752. really

  753. praying

  754. to the

  755. Lord.

  756. The

  757. Lord

  758. is lifting

  759. us up

  760. little by

  761. little by

  762. little along

  763. the way.

  764. And so

  765. we find

  766. that David

  767. is you

  768. can almost

  769. feel the

  770. different

  771. spirit within

  772. him as

  773. he's becoming

  774. more convinced

  775. of God's

  776. goodness and

  777. God's

  778. faithfulness

  779. and of

  780. God's love

  781. towards him.

  782. And then

  783. we find

  784. that as

  785. it moves

  786. on in

  787. the

  788. focusing

  789. upon

  790. Christ

  791. because

  792. nobody

  793. else.

  794. Now we

  795. know that

  796. from a

  797. human

  798. point of

  799. view

  800. when we

  801. follow the

  802. genealogy

  803. the human

  804. genealogy

  805. Christ came

  806. through the

  807. Davidic line

  808. and so

  809. this prayer

  810. of David's

  811. is fulfilled

  812. in Jesus

  813. Christ.

  814. But then

  815. we see him

  816. finishing

  817. so will I

  818. ever sing

  819. praises to

  820. your name

  821. what a

  822. difference to

  823. the start.

  824. And you

  825. know it

  826. will be the

  827. same for

  828. you and

  829. for me as

  830. well.

  831. Even if

  832. tonight we're

  833. in the

  834. depth when

  835. we start

  836. out the

  837. Lord will

  838. take us

  839. on and

  840. he'll take

  841. us up so

  842. that that's

  843. how we will

  844. finish that

  845. we will so

  846. will I ever

  847. sing praises to

  848. your name.

  849. And you

  850. know that's

  851. how it's going

  852. to be for the

  853. Christian at the

  854. end of the

  855. day because

  856. us we're all

  857. moving on

  858. that journey

  859. to where we

  860. will forever

  861. sing praises to

  862. his name.

  863. This world

  864. is it is

  865. a veil of

  866. tears.

  867. We have our

  868. good times and

  869. we have our

  870. sad times but

  871. we're moving

  872. on to this

  873. world of

  874. eternal praise

  875. and how

  876. wonderful that

  877. that is the

  878. end of our

  879. journey.

  880. So we pray

  881. that tonight

  882. we will have

  883. this sense

  884. of God's

  885. goodness,

  886. God's ear

  887. open to

  888. us,

  889. of God's

  890. willingness to

  891. answer,

  892. of his

  893. faithfulness to

  894. us and his

  895. abundant love

  896. in all the

  897. different situations.

  898. Let us pray.

  899. Lord our God

  900. we give thanks

  901. for your word

  902. to us.

  903. We give thanks

  904. for your

  905. unfailing love.

  906. We give thanks

  907. oh Lord that

  908. you are the

  909. God who hears

  910. our cry,

  911. that you

  912. attend to

  913. our need.

  914. And yet

  915. Lord we have

  916. to confess

  917. that we're

  918. not worthy

  919. of the

  920. least of

  921. your

  922. mercies.

  923. And so

  924. often as we

  925. begin to

  926. pray and

  927. as we get

  928. a greater

  929. awareness of

  930. who you

  931. are we

  932. begin to

  933. feel less

  934. within ourselves

  935. and we

  936. feel that we

  937. are nothing

  938. but poor

  939. creatures.

  940. But Lord we

  941. pray that

  942. like the

  943. psalmist said

  944. when I am

  945. poor and

  946. needy yet

  947. the Lord

  948. will think

  949. upon me.

  950. and how

  951. wonderful

  952. that the

  953. Lord would

  954. think upon

  955. us realizing

  956. that his

  957. thoughts are

  958. beyond numbering

  959. his thoughts

  960. of good to

  961. his people.

  962. So we pray

  963. to bless us

  964. tonight.

  965. Pray for

  966. those who

  967. are struggling,

  968. those who

  969. are going

  970. through difficult

  971. times,

  972. those maybe

  973. who have

  974. anxieties

  975. and worries

  976. that they

  977. haven't been

  978. able to share

  979. with anybody

  980. else.

  981. Give them

  982. the faith

  983. to pour out

  984. their hearts

  985. to you

  986. that they

  987. might be

  988. able to

  989. share with

  990. you and

  991. do them

  992. good we

  993. pray.

  994. Lord we

  995. pray for

  996. those who

  997. are nursing

  998. broken hearts.

  999. Pray Lord

  1000. for those who

  1001. are recovering

  1002. from illness.

  1003. We pray for

  1004. those who

  1005. are ill.

  1006. We pray for

  1007. all in

  1008. hospital,

  1009. those who

  1010. are in

  1011. need.

  1012. Tonight we

  1013. remember again

  1014. your servants

  1015. Reverend Duncan

  1016. MacLeod and

  1017. Moraghan.

  1018. We think of

  1019. the funeral of

  1020. their daughter

  1021. Katie and

  1022. Tuesday.

  1023. Lord be

  1024. near to

  1025. them.

  1026. There are

  1027. so many

  1028. mysteries in

  1029. life,

  1030. so many

  1031. harrowing

  1032. pains and

  1033. sorrows.

  1034. So many

  1035. can follow

  1036. and understand

  1037. where they

  1038. are.

  1039. Many

  1040. cannot.

  1041. We pray

  1042. then that

  1043. you will

  1044. help them,

  1045. grant them

  1046. a great

  1047. sense of

  1048. your peace.

  1049. Watch over

  1050. us tonight

  1051. then we

  1052. pray.

  1053. We give

  1054. thanks for

  1055. the prayers

  1056. offered,

  1057. for the

  1058. words sung,

  1059. for your

  1060. word that

  1061. has been

  1062. read.

  1063. And we

  1064. pray that

  1065. you will

  1066. bless us,

  1067. taking every

  1068. single one

  1069. of us home

  1070. safely.

  1071. Lord we

  1072. give thanks

  1073. for this

  1074. congregation.

  1075. We give

  1076. thanks for

  1077. the witness

  1078. and testimony.

  1079. Lord we

  1080. give thanks

  1081. for everybody

  1082. who does.

  1083. So much

  1084. is done

  1085. here for

  1086. you.

  1087. And we

  1088. pray Lord

  1089. that you

  1090. will indeed

  1091. as we

  1092. heard open

  1093. the windows

  1094. of heaven

  1095. and pour

  1096. out a

  1097. blessing upon

  1098. us.

  1099. Not because

  1100. of our

  1101. deserving,

  1102. but Lord

  1103. that we

  1104. might be

  1105. an ever

  1106. growing

  1107. witness in

  1108. this

  1109. community

  1110. to your

  1111. power,

  1112. to your

  1113. grace,

  1114. and to

  1115. your love.

  1116. Take away

  1117. then from

  1118. us our

  1119. sin in

  1120. Jesus'

  1121. name.

  1122. Amen.

  1123. We're going

  1124. to conclude

  1125. singing.
