  1. I mentioned them in prayer there, how precious these words are.

  2. I just want to for a few moments just think on them.

  3. We've all been in situations, I'm sure, where all of a sudden our plans have been changed very quickly.

  4. Things happen and you're feeling nice and relaxed and prepared one minute,

  5. and suddenly something changes those plans and you're set into a panic.

  6. You can be all set to go away on holiday.

  7. You've got the car packed, you go out of the car, turn the key and nothing happens.

  8. There's a panic. What are you going to do?

  9. Or you're all set to go on a text come through from Calmark, ferries cancelled.

  10. Again, how often does that occur and our plans are changed?

  11. Again, we see so many people have had COVID recently.

  12. A COVID test changes your plans there and then.

  13. There are so many things that just come our way.

  14. Our best laid plans don't always work out.

  15. But are our plans the priority?

  16. Or whose plans are important?

  17. Surely it's not our own plans that so often take priority.

  18. But we lean towards that, don't we?

  19. And yet as we read in these words in verse 5 and 6 of Proverbs chapter 3,

    Proverbs 3 chapter mention

  20. they're a great reminder to us of where our plans and our focus is always to be.

  21. Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

  22. Do not lean on your own understanding.

  23. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths.

  24. We need to be open to a change of plans.

  25. Things can change very quickly.

  26. And we saw that in our reading in Acts chapter 16 where we saw Paul and Timothy on their journey there.

    Acts 16 chapter mention

  27. Their plans were being changed.

  28. Where they thought they were going, suddenly they weren't.

  29. The spirit of God stopped them in their tracks, changed their direction.

  30. And then in a vision God spoke to Paul about a call to Macedonia.

  31. Now Paul could easily have said, that's not the plans we have in mind.

  32. That's not where we're going.

  33. That's not what we're doing.

  34. What was important was that's what God wanted them to do.

  35. That's where God wanted them.

  36. Where he wanted them to go.

  37. And so we want to see for ourselves the importance of these words in verse 5 and 6.

  38. We're just going to go through them individually.

  39. Three different parts.

  40. Split them into three different parts.

  41. And see the wisdom of God in always listening to him.

  42. Somebody once said,

  43. Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening when you would have preferred to talk.

  44. Wisdom is the reward you get for a lifetime of listening when you would have preferred to talk.

  45. And when we think of that with ourselves and God,

  46. how often do we want to be the ones doing the talking to God?

  47. Telling him, this is our plans.

  48. This is what we're going to do.

  49. But wisdom is listening.

  50. And listening requires patience.

  51. So we look at these words.

  52. And we begin first of all with these words.

  53. Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

  54. Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

  55. This is where it begins.

  56. Trust in the Lord.

  57. Not in ourselves.

  58. Trust in the Lord.

  59. The creator of heaven and earth.

  60. The sustainer of our lives.

  61. The God who created all that we see around us.

  62. The God who made us in his own image.

  63. And the God who puts faith in our hearts by his grace.

  64. And yet we still think that we know better than him.

  65. No.

  66. He says,

  67. Trust in the Lord with all your heart.

  68. Samuel Rutherford once said,

  69. Duties are ours.

  70. Events are God's.

  71. When our faith goes to meddle with events

  72. and to hold account upon God's providence

  73. and begins to say,

  74. How will you do this or that?

  75. We lose ground.

  76. We have nothing to do there.

  77. We leave him to steer his own helm.

  78. There is nothing left for us

  79. but to see how we may be approved of him.

  80. How often are we guilty of that?

  81. Saying to God,

  82. How will you do this or that for us?

  83. Instead of just looking to God

  84. to steer his own helm.

  85. To steer the direction of our lives

  86. individually and collectively.

  87. That is trust.

  88. Trusting God to direct everything for us.

  89. His providence and his will are in his hands.

  90. But instead we so often seek our own will.

  91. When we think of relationships,

  92. whatever relationships they are,

  93. without trust,

  94. our relationship is doomed.

  95. If there is no trust in our relationship,

  96. where is it going to go?

  97. There is always going to be doubt,

  98. anxiety, fear, worries.

  99. And yet we are told here,

  100. Trust in the Lord.

  101. Because we can.

  102. We can depend on him,

  103. the one who won't leave us.

  104. Trust in God as we go about his business,

  105. as we go about all that we do

  106. in his name.

  107. And trust is very similar to faith.

  108. You could almost tie the two together.

  109. Trust in the Lord is the same thing.

  110. Have faith in the Lord.

  111. When you think of that great passage

  112. in Hebrews 11

  113. and all these people we read of there

  114. who by faith,

  115. by trust in God,

  116. lived their lives,

  117. went forward in life

  118. in circumstances

  119. where it seemed senseless.

  120. They could have easily said to God,

  121. what are you doing?

  122. By faith Noah built an ark

  123. in the middle of nowhere

  124. with no sign of rain or water.

  125. But he did it by trust,

  126. by faith that God knew what he was doing.

  127. And so many others,

  128. that you read in that passage

  129. and throughout scripture,

  130. they didn't know.

  131. They didn't know what was ahead

  132. or what they were doing sometimes.

  133. But they trusted God.

  134. They had faith in God.

  135. And that's what we are being told here,

  136. to trust in the Lord

  137. with all our heart,

  138. with all that we are.

  139. The wisdom of God's word.

  140. There was a well-off lady

  141. who was interested

  142. in the things of God.

  143. And she was searching her Bible

  144. for answers.

  145. She wasn't trusting

  146. in the Lord at this point,

  147. but she was showing an interest.

  148. And so she wrote a letter

  149. to her minister.

  150. And she wrote this letter saying,

  151. Will you put down in black and white

  152. what I am to believe?

  153. I have been told

  154. of so many different texts,

  155. she said,

  156. and there are so many

  157. that I'm confused.

  158. Please tell me one text

  159. and I will try and believe it.

  160. Well, the minister's reply was this.

  161. It's not one text

  162. more than another

  163. or any number of texts

  164. that saves.

  165. It's by trusting

  166. in a person,

  167. by trusting

  168. in the Lord Jesus Christ

  169. that we are saved.

  170. And we see

  171. the word of God before us.

  172. I'm sure

  173. this kind of text

  174. is a kind of text

  175. you see on

  176. so many walls and homes.

  177. Proverbs 3,

    Proverbs 3:5

  178. verse 5 and 6.

  179. But we don't just trust

  180. in these words.

  181. We trust in the Lord

  182. of these words.

  183. Trust in the Lord

  184. with all your heart.

  185. And that's what we see

  186. Paul doing

  187. so often

  188. on his missionary journeys

  189. and in his life.

  190. Trusting in the Lord

  191. when change seems

  192. to come along.

  193. We don't see him asking,

  194. why?

  195. Why don't we do it this way?

  196. Why don't we do it another way?

  197. He goes

  198. where he's directed.

  199. And as a people

  200. that is what we are

  201. to be open to as well.

  202. Individually

  203. and collectively

  204. in our lives.

  205. To trust in the Lord

  206. with all

  207. our hearts.

  208. Trust him

  209. when dark doubts

  210. assail thee.

  211. Trust him

  212. when thy strength

  213. is small.

  214. Trust him

  215. when to simply

  216. trust him

  217. seems the hardest

  218. thing of all.

  219. Trust him

  220. he is ever faithful.

  221. Trust him

  222. for his will

  223. is best.

  224. Trust him

  225. for the heart

  226. of Jesus

  227. is the only

  228. place

  229. of rest.

  230. Trust

  231. in the Lord

  232. with all

  233. your heart.

  234. that's the first

  235. thing

  236. that we see

  237. here.

  238. The second

  239. thing is

  240. lean not

  241. on your

  242. own

  243. understanding.

  244. Lean not

  245. on your

  246. own

  247. understanding.

  248. And again

  249. the idea

  250. here is

  251. of being

  252. self

  253. reliant.

  254. I

  255. and I'm sure

  256. all of us

  257. would love

  258. to be able

  259. to say

  260. we're right

  261. all the time.

  262. I would love

  263. to be able

  264. to say

  265. to everyone

  266. look

  267. I've got

  268. the answer

  269. I know

  270. best

  271. but the

  272. reality is

  273. I don't

  274. you don't

  275. but collectively

  276. we can find

  277. the right

  278. answer

  279. with God.

  280. Lean not

  281. on your

  282. own

  283. understanding.

  284. We all

  285. have

  286. opinions.

  287. We all

  288. have opinions

  289. about

  290. anything

  291. and everything

  292. in this

  293. world.

  294. We all

  295. have

  296. something

  297. to say

  298. but they

  299. are just

  300. that

  301. our own

  302. opinions.

  303. And when we

  304. think of the

  305. situation that

  306. we're in

  307. just now

  308. a time

  309. of vacancy

  310. it's a

  311. time when

  312. we'll hear

  313. many different

  314. opinions.

  315. Who has

  316. the right

  317. answer?

  318. Can we look

  319. to one

  320. person

  321. here and

  322. say

  323. they've

  324. got the

  325. right

  326. answer?

  327. Well we

  328. don't want

  329. to lean

  330. on our

  331. own

  332. understanding.

  333. We don't

  334. want to

  335. lean on

  336. our own

  337. wisdom,

  338. our own

  339. opinions.

  340. We want

  341. to lean

  342. on the

  343. Lord.

  344. That's

  345. what the

  346. writer here

  347. is saying

  348. Solomon in

  349. his wisdom

  350. is saying.

  351. Lean not

  352. on your

  353. own

  354. understanding.

  355. The world

  356. has changed

  357. a lot since

  358. the days of

  359. Solomon or

  360. indeed the

  361. days of

  362. Paul.

  363. But what

  364. hasn't

  365. changed is

  366. that we

  367. need to

  368. hear what

  369. God is

  370. saying to

  371. us.

  372. Yet we

  373. hear so

  374. often things

  375. have changed.

  376. We've moved

  377. on.

  378. We've moved

  379. on from the

  380. dark ages of

  381. the Bible.

  382. We've got all

  383. this wisdom

  384. in our world

  385. now.

  386. We've got all

  387. this wisdom

  388. all around

  389. us.

  390. We don't

  391. need the

  392. wisdom of

  393. God.

  394. But in the

  395. many things

  396. that have

  397. changed,

  398. some things

  399. remain the

  400. same.

  401. people of

  402. fears and

  403. anxieties,

  404. a people who

  405. face joy and

  406. sorrows,

  407. a people who

  408. struggle with

  409. all kinds of

  410. sin,

  411. the needs

  412. that we

  413. have,

  414. the responsibilities

  415. that they

  416. bring upon

  417. us.

  418. All of

  419. these things

  420. remain the

  421. same.

  422. They haven't

  423. changed.

  424. So as you

  425. look at the

  426. Bible and

  427. you see God

  428. speaking to

  429. people 3,000

  430. years ago

  431. through Solomon

  432. or 2,000

  433. years ago

  434. through Paul,

  435. the people are

  436. still the same

  437. as ourselves.

  438. They're no

  439. different.

  440. We have

  441. the same

  442. issues.

  443. And in

  444. chapter 2,

  445. verse 1 of

  446. Proverbs,

  447. you see what

  448. is key to

  449. it all is

  450. about trusting

  451. in the

  452. word of

  453. God.

  454. My son,

  455. if you

  456. receive my

  457. words and

  458. treasure up

  459. my commandments

  460. with you,

  461. it begins

  462. there, this

  463. wisdom that

  464. is being

  465. imparted from

  466. God, the

  467. value of

  468. wisdom, and

  469. that we see

  470. built on us,

  471. you go on

  472. through the

  473. book of

  474. Proverbs.

  475. And these

  476. words, lean

  477. not on your

  478. own understanding.

  479. The word

  480. literally means

  481. to rest upon

  482. something, but

  483. you wait down

  484. on something,

  485. to make you

  486. think that this

  487. is going to

  488. hold me, this

  489. is going to

  490. keep me up.

  491. Well, our

  492. own understanding,

  493. our own

  494. wisdom, is

  495. not.

  496. but by the

  497. grace of

  498. God that he

  499. shows towards

  500. us, the

  501. one whose

  502. ways are

  503. above our

  504. ways and

  505. his thoughts

  506. are above

  507. our thoughts,

  508. he imparts

  509. wisdom to

  510. us.

  511. As the

  512. writer James

  513. says in the

  514. New Testament,

  515. if anybody

  516. lacks wisdom,

  517. let him ask

  518. God.

  519. And that

  520. ties in with

  521. just what we

  522. have here.

  523. Lean not

  524. on your own

  525. understanding.

  526. understanding.

  527. God is

  528. there.

  529. God is

  530. there to

  531. be lent

  532. upon.

  533. Our own

  534. understanding,

  535. our own

  536. wisdom, will

  537. so often let

  538. us down.

  539. And you

  540. just have to

  541. look at

  542. Paul.

  543. When you

  544. read Paul's

  545. testimony in

  546. Acts chapter

    Acts 9 chapter mention

  547. 9, and

  548. throughout the

  549. book of Acts,

  550. you see people

  551. talking about

  552. Paul and the

  553. wisdom that

  554. he was perceived

  555. to have.

  556. But it was

  557. worthless.

  558. He counted it

  559. as dung, he

  560. says in the

  561. book of

  562. Philippians.

  563. His own

  564. understanding,

  565. leaning on his

  566. own understanding,

  567. led him down a

  568. path of

  569. destruction and

  570. chaos.

  571. He was there

  572. destroying the

  573. church, destroying

  574. the Christians, out

  575. to pursue them and

  576. persecute them.

  577. But then the

  578. Lord intervened.

  579. And when you

  580. see what was

  581. happening then in

  582. Paul as he was

  583. converted, and

  584. as we read in

  585. Acts chapter 16

    Acts 16 chapter mention

  586. in verse 5,

  587. this man who

  588. had persecuted

  589. the Christians,

  590. it says in

  591. Acts 16 verse 5,

    Acts 16:5

  592. the churches

  593. were strengthened

  594. in the faith

  595. and grew daily

  596. in numbers.

  597. Because no

  598. longer was he

  599. leaning on his

  600. own understanding,

  601. his own wisdom.

  602. He was leaning

  603. upon the

  604. Lord.

  605. And it's

  606. always tempting

  607. of us to

  608. think we have

  609. understanding,

  610. we have

  611. wisdom.

  612. But let's not

  613. think so highly

  614. of ourselves.

  615. We must

  616. decrease,

  617. and he must

  618. increase.

  619. We must look

  620. to the Lord,

  621. lean on him

  622. and his ways,

  623. and wait

  624. upon him

  625. with patience

  626. and with

  627. prayer.

  628. prayer.

  629. And thirdly,

  630. you see here

  631. in verse 6,

  632. in all your

  633. ways,

  634. acknowledge him

  635. and he

  636. will make

  637. straight

  638. your paths.

  639. There is

  640. this assurance,

  641. there is this

  642. promise that

  643. comes from

  644. God.

  645. He will

  646. make straight

  647. your paths.

  648. In all

  649. your ways,

  650. acknowledge him.

  651. How do you

  652. acknowledge God?

  653. How do you

  654. acknowledge God?

  655. Is it just

  656. paying a token

  657. gesture to him?

  658. Is it just by

  659. turning up in

  660. church?

  661. Is that

  662. acknowledging God?

  663. It's more

  664. than that.

  665. It comes back

  666. to that wisdom

  667. of listening,

  668. of not seeking

  669. to speak

  670. first and have

  671. the answers to

  672. all of what

  673. we see as the

  674. important issues

  675. in our church.

  676. It's about

  677. listening.

  678. By acknowledging

  679. him, we

  680. listen to

  681. his word.

  682. We seek

  683. the guidance

  684. of his

  685. Holy Spirit.

  686. We wait

  687. upon him.

  688. Paul found

  689. himself in

  690. that situation

  691. in Acts

    Acts 16 chapter mention

  692. chapter 16,

  693. waiting

  694. upon the

  695. Lord.

  696. And he

  697. found the

  698. Lord directing

  699. his path.

  700. In Acts

    Acts 16:10

  701. 16,

  702. verse 10,

  703. when Paul

  704. had seen

  705. the vision,

  706. immediately

  707. we sought

  708. to go

  709. into

  710. Macedonia,

  711. concluding

  712. that God

  713. had called

  714. us to

  715. preach the

  716. gospel to

  717. them.

  718. You see,

  719. it wasn't

  720. their idea.

  721. It wasn't

  722. this is our

  723. understanding

  724. of the

  725. situation.

  726. They concluded

  727. that God

  728. had called

  729. them to

  730. preach the

  731. gospel to

  732. them in

  733. Macedonia.

  734. the Lord

  735. directed

  736. their paths.

  737. And our

  738. earnest prayer

  739. at all

  740. times would

  741. be that the

  742. Lord would

  743. show us

  744. his ways,

  745. to show

  746. us where

  747. to go,

  748. to show

  749. us what

  750. to do,

  751. to tell

  752. us what

  753. to say.

  754. In all

  755. your ways

  756. acknowledge

  757. him and

  758. he will

  759. make straight

  760. your paths.

  761. This was

  762. prayed

  763. earlier.

  764. When we

  765. think even

  766. of speaking

  767. to people,

  768. inviting

  769. them to

  770. church,

  771. these words

  772. tie in.

  773. Trust in

  774. the Lord

  775. with all

  776. your heart.

  777. Trust in

  778. the Lord

  779. that he

  780. will prepare

  781. that person

  782. you're wanting

  783. to speak

  784. to,

  785. to invite

  786. along.

  787. That there

  788. will be

  789. an opening,

  790. a door

  791. opening for

  792. you,

  793. even before

  794. you arrive.

  795. Trust in

  796. the Lord.

  797. Don't lean

  798. on your own

  799. understanding.

  800. Don't start

  801. saying to

  802. yourself,

  803. they're never

  804. going to

  805. listen to

  806. me.

  807. They're going

  808. to laugh

  809. in my

  810. face.

  811. They're going

  812. to turn

  813. me away.

  814. They're going

  815. to rip

  816. up the

  817. invitation.

  818. Don't lean

  819. on your

  820. own

  821. understanding

  822. of the

  823. situation.

  824. In all

  825. your ways

  826. acknowledge

  827. him and

  828. he will

  829. direct

  830. your paths.

  831. There will

  832. be times

  833. when we

  834. feel discouraged.

  835. There will

  836. be times

  837. when we

  838. meet a

  839. closed

  840. door.

  841. Paul

  842. made

  843. these

  844. things.

  845. The

  846. disciples

  847. made

  848. these

  849. things.

  850. But it

  851. didn't

  852. turn them

  853. away.

  854. It

  855. didn't

  856. turn

  857. them

  858. off

  859. going

  860. out

  861. with

  862. the

  863. gospel.

  864. They

  865. continued

  866. to

  867. press

  868. on.

  869. And so

  870. should

  871. we.

  872. To

  873. press

  874. on

  875. because

  876. we

  877. have

  878. the

  879. glorious

  880. gospel

  881. of

  882. Christ.

  883. And when

  884. we think

  885. of the

  886. amazing

  887. ways

  888. that the

  889. Lord

  890. directs

  891. our

  892. paths.

  893. He's

  894. done it

  895. in the

  896. past

  897. to all

  898. of you

  899. I'm

  900. sure.

  901. Directed

  902. your

  903. paths

  904. towards

  905. the

  906. Lord.

  907. When

  908. you

  909. were

  910. going

  911. in

  912. completely

  913. the

  914. opposite

  915. direction.

  916. Showing

  917. you

  918. his

  919. wonderful

  920. ways

  921. that

  922. he

  923. works

  924. to

  925. bring

  926. you

  927. back

  928. to

  929. himself.

  930. When

  931. you

  932. trust

  933. in

  934. the

  935. Lord

  936. with

  937. all

  938. your

  939. heart.

  940. When

  941. you

  942. lean

  943. on

  944. his

  945. understanding.

  946. When

  947. you

  948. acknowledge

  949. him

  950. he

  951. directs

  952. your

  953. paths.

  954. And

  955. God

  956. uses

  957. remarkable

  958. ways

  959. to

  960. remind

  961. us

  962. that

  963. he

  964. loves

  965. us.

  966. An

  967. amazing

  968. story

  969. a man

  970. on

  971. the

  972. west

  973. side

  974. once

  975. told

  976. me

  977. of

  978. his

  979. days

  980. in

  981. the

  982. Navy

  983. during

  984. the

  985. Second

  986. World

  987. War.

  988. He

  989. was

  990. on

  991. a

  992. destroyer

  993. called

  994. HMS

  995. Lapwing.

  996. And

  997. he'd

  998. been

  999. on

  1000. it

  1001. for

  1002. a

  1003. while.

  1004. He

  1005. was

  1006. part

  1007. of

  1008. the

  1009. crew

  1010. but

  1011. he

  1012. was

  1013. granted

  1014. leave

  1015. to

  1016. go

  1017. home

  1018. in

  1019. March

  1020. 1945

  1021. as

  1022. he

  1023. was

  1024. told

  1025. his

  1026. mother

  1027. was

  1028. gravely

  1029. ill.

  1030. And

  1031. so

  1032. he

  1033. left

  1034. that

  1035. destroyer

  1036. and

  1037. he

  1038. made

  1039. his

  1040. journey

  1041. back

  1042. home

  1043. to

  1044. the

  1045. west

  1046. side.

  1047. And

  1048. what

  1049. did

  1050. he

  1051. find

  1052. when

  1053. he

  1054. got

  1055. home?

  1056. His

  1057. mother

  1058. was

  1059. not

  1060. ill

  1061. at

  1062. all.

  1063. She

  1064. was

  1065. up

  1066. and

  1067. about

  1068. quite

  1069. healthy

  1070. quite

  1071. strong.

  1072. And

  1073. he

  1074. couldn't

  1075. understand

  1076. what

  1077. had

  1078. happened.

  1079. How

  1080. this

  1081. message

  1082. had

  1083. been

  1084. communicated

  1085. that

  1086. she

  1087. was

  1088. gravely

  1089. and he

  1090. was

  1091. to

  1092. go

  1093. home

  1094. only

  1095. to

  1096. find

  1097. this

  1098. was

  1099. the

  1100. situation.

  1101. After

  1102. a few

  1103. days

  1104. at

  1105. home

  1106. he

  1107. left

  1108. to

  1109. go

  1110. back

  1111. to

  1112. rejoin

  1113. his

  1114. ship

  1115. once

  1116. it

  1117. would

  1118. come

  1119. back

  1120. into

  1121. port.

  1122. The

  1123. thing

  1124. was

  1125. the

  1126. ship

  1127. never

  1128. returned

  1129. to

  1130. port.

  1131. Since

  1132. the

  1133. time

  1134. that

  1135. he

  1136. left

  1137. it

  1138. it

  1139. had

  1140. been

  1141. torpedoed

  1142. on

  1143. a

  1144. Russian

  1145. convoy

  1146. run.

  1147. it

  1148. had

  1149. sank

  1150. and

  1151. 158

  1152. men

  1153. were

  1154. lost.

  1155. Only

  1156. 61

  1157. survived.

  1158. He

  1159. wasn't

  1160. a

  1161. professing

  1162. Christian

  1163. at

  1164. the

  1165. time

  1166. but

  1167. it

  1168. spoke

  1169. to

  1170. him

  1171. of

  1172. the

  1173. Lord's

  1174. protection

  1175. over

  1176. him

  1177. and

  1178. it

  1179. spoke

  1180. to

  1181. him

  1182. in

  1183. a

  1184. powerful

  1185. way

  1186. that

  1187. he

  1188. came

  1189. to

  1190. give

  1191. his

  1192. life

  1193. to

  1194. Christ.

  1195. His

  1196. mother

  1197. lived

  1198. for a

  1199. number

  1200. of

  1201. years

  1202. after

  1203. the

  1204. war

  1205. and

  1206. he

  1207. himself

  1208. lived

  1209. until

  1210. he

  1211. was

  1212. over

  1213. a

  1214. hundred

  1215. and

  1216. he

  1217. served

  1218. the

  1219. Lord

  1220. in

  1221. a

  1222. strong

  1223. faith

  1224. all

  1225. his

  1226. days.

  1227. The

  1228. Lord

  1229. used

  1230. a

  1231. remarkable

  1232. situation

  1233. a

  1234. tragic

  1235. situation

  1236. to

  1237. remind

  1238. him

  1239. of

  1240. his

  1241. protection

  1242. over

  1243. him

  1244. and

  1245. he

  1246. came

  1247. to

  1248. trust

  1249. in

  1250. the

  1251. Lord

  1252. with

  1253. all

  1254. his

  1255. heart

  1256. and

  1257. God

  1258. uses

  1259. different

  1260. ways

  1261. and

  1262. different

  1263. means

  1264. to

  1265. bring

  1266. us

  1267. to

  1268. put

  1269. our

  1270. trust

  1271. in

  1272. the

  1273. Lord

  1274. and

  1275. to

  1276. strengthen

  1277. our

  1278. trust

  1279. in

  1280. the

  1281. Lord.

  1282. It's

  1283. not

  1284. just

  1285. about

  1286. a

  1287. moment

  1288. of

  1289. trust

  1290. it's

  1291. a

  1292. lifetime

  1293. of

  1294. trust

  1295. an

  1296. ongoing

  1297. trust

  1298. day

  1299. by

  1300. day

  1301. living

  1302. for

  1303. the

  1304. Lord

  1305. today

  1306. tomorrow

  1307. the day

  1308. after

  1309. all our

  1310. days

  1311. these

  1312. words

  1313. speak

  1314. to

  1315. us

  1316. Proverbs

  1317. is a

  1318. book

  1319. of

  1320. wisdom

  1321. and

  1322. there's

  1323. none

  1324. of

  1325. us

  1326. who

  1327. have

  1328. all

  1329. the

  1330. answers

  1331. there's

  1332. none

  1333. of

  1334. us

  1335. who

  1336. know

  1337. the

  1338. best

  1339. way

  1340. to

  1341. go

  1342. forward

  1343. but

  1344. the

  1345. Lord

  1346. does

  1347. and

  1348. that's

  1349. what

  1350. we're

  1351. being

  1352. encouraged

  1353. to

  1354. do

  1355. in

  1356. these

  1357. words

  1358. and

  1359. when

  1360. we

  1361. see

  1362. the

  1363. likes

  1364. of

  1365. Paul

  1366. in

  1367. that

  1368. call

  1369. to

  1370. Macedonia

  1371. to

  1372. preach

  1373. the

  1374. gospel

  1375. there

  1376. this

  1377. is

  1378. where

  1379. it

  1380. comes

  1381. from

  1382. trust

  1383. in

  1384. the

  1385. Lord

  1386. with

  1387. all

  1388. your

  1389. heart

  1390. do

  1391. not

  1392. lean

  1393. on

  1394. your

  1395. own

  1396. understanding

  1397. in

  1398. all

  1399. your

  1400. ways

  1401. acknowledge

  1402. him

  1403. and

  1404. he

  1405. will

  1406. make

  1407. straight

  1408. your

  1409. paths

  1410. well

  1411. may

  1412. the

  1413. Lord

  1414. the

  1415. same

  1416. Lord

  1417. of

  1418. Proverbs

  1419. be

  1420. our

  1421. Lord

  1422. to

  1423. lead

  1424. us

  1425. and

  1426. to

  1427. guide

  1428. us

  1429. in

  1430. his

  1431. paths

  1432. we're

  1433. going

  1434. to

  1435. conclude

  1436. by

  1437. singing

  1438. to

  1439. God's

  1440. praise

  1441. in

  1442. Psalm

  1443. 143

  1444. to
