  1. Hello, everyone, and welcome to this week's episode

  2. of Trinity Talks. My name is Kyla, and I am so

  3. excited to be sitting down here with Paul Henderson.

  4. Paul has worked for 18 years, I think, as a professional

  5. hockey player and does some leadership work now,

  6. but is also a well -loved member of our Trinity

  7. family here. And so I'm excited to get to hear

  8. your story, Paul. Well, my name is Paul Henderson.

  9. I started coming to this church in 1991. OK.

  10. And it was one of the best things that ever happened

  11. to me. And we are so fortunate today that we

  12. have Rob. He is one of the most creative speakers

  13. I've ever heard of my life. But I did play professional

  14. hockey as a kid growing up by practicing. I practice

  15. my started practicing my autograph when I was

  16. in grade five. OK, because I wanted to be an

  17. NHL hockey player and I wanted to. have a legible

  18. autograph. And so that was my dream. And I was

  19. able to do it. I played junior hockey and then

  20. I made the Detroit Red Wings. I played six years

  21. there. I was traded the Toronto Maple Leafs and

  22. played there until I got tired of Harold Ballard,

  23. who had our team. And I think that's why the

  24. Leafs have not won a Stanley Cup since. But anyway,

  25. and when I retired, Well, I didn't become a Christian

  26. until I was 32. And Mel Stevens from Teen Ranch

  27. was a guy that spent a lot of time to lead me

  28. to the Lord. And so in March of 75, I became

  29. a Christian. And then next year, I jumped to

  30. the WHA and we went to Birmingham, Alabama. And

  31. I got down there and I got a mentor. And I met

  32. with this guy. He was this nine of us. And we

  33. met from six thirty to eight o 'clock on Monday

  34. mornings. And this guy modeled for me what it

  35. was to love the Lord and put him in the center

  36. of your life. And so that changed my life incredibly.

  37. And then after three years from my mentor and

  38. the pastor came to me and said, we've got some

  39. new people in church and we want you to lead

  40. them. become the leader. I can't do that. I've

  41. only been a Christian for three years. And sometimes

  42. it's people that have more confidence in yourself

  43. than you do. And so they talked me into doing

  44. it. And I loved it. Yeah. And I just tried to

  45. replicate what John Bradford taught me. And he

  46. gave me great advice. He says, Paul, our personalities

  47. are so different. Don't lead like I do. You are

  48. very passionate. You're disciplined in that.

  49. be yourself and obviously challenge them. And

  50. he said, really, for the last six months, he

  51. says, with your discipline, your passion, you've

  52. been really leading it. So you're going to have

  53. no problem. Sure. And so anyway, that was really

  54. good advice. Yeah. So anyway, here I am. And

  55. then came back to Canada. And then I really felt

  56. that God was saying to me, Paul, I want you to

  57. reach out to Paul Henderson, the guys that are

  58. probably successful and. and know the, you know,

  59. fears and all that kind of stuff. And so I decided

  60. I wanted to go over the business and professional.

  61. And I wanted to raise up leadership. And I want

  62. to develop leaders that would in turn create

  63. leaders. And that's the thing I love about this

  64. church. We got these groups, because everybody

  65. needs a group that you can get together, talk

  66. about it. And so I figured if I, I really wanted

  67. to get a movement going. I thought, if I get

  68. 25 men's groups going, I'll have a movement.

  69. Well, I got cancer in 2009, and by that time

  70. we had 80 groups going. OK, wow. And so I'm not

  71. a very good visionary. But I knew I had to get

  72. some other people to take over because they told

  73. me I might have like five years. OK. And but

  74. anyway, we did. And we got some people that were

  75. strategists. And now it's just exploded around

  76. the world. I ran a pretty good mum and pop shop.

  77. But now I don't have to go in a meeting, so I

  78. just need to pray for people, meet them and try

  79. to be a disciple maker. Yeah, that's awesome.

  80. Yeah. So you said, you know, starting maybe even

  81. grade five, maybe before you really wanted to

  82. be a hockey player. So what what sort of fueled

  83. that passion for you? Why did you want that as

  84. a career? Well, this is not very good, but I

  85. grew up very poor. I was the oldest of five kids.

  86. Yeah. And I never got a pair of skates. I was

  87. nine. Like we never went to a restaurant and

  88. everything like that. And I just hated being

  89. poor. And I thought, well, one of the ways you

  90. can make a lot of money or good money early,

  91. be a professional hockey player. And I was a

  92. good athlete. I was quick on that kind of stuff.

  93. And so I said, this is where I want to get to.

  94. And so that really drove me. But the other side

  95. of the coin, I wanted to prove to my buddies

  96. that I could be successful. It was very important

  97. for me. to be successful. And unfortunately,

  98. I didn't have a spiritual side to my life, so

  99. it's all about me. And that's what I was after,

  100. making money, being successful. Okay. Okay. And

  101. then partway through your hockey career, you

  102. come to learn about and to choose to follow Jesus.

  103. So how did that happen? Well, in 1972, we played

  104. the Russians and I scored a goal in the last

  105. 34 seconds to win the series. I scored the winning

  106. goal in game six, seven and eight. Yes, I heard

  107. that. And became the sports moment of the last

  108. century. And Mel Stevens, who ran Teen Manch

  109. runs up in Oakville or Orangeville area. He came

  110. to me, knocked on my door, never met him before.

  111. And he asked me if I could. I would really like

  112. you to come to our hockey school. We teach kids

  113. hockey school and I'd like you to, you know,

  114. come. So I said, well, what do you pay? He said,

  115. well, we're a Christian organization and we don't

  116. have any money. We ask you to donate the time.

  117. I see. And I looked at him like, do you not know

  118. who you're talking to? Right. Yes. So anyway,

  119. he just seemed like a great guy. We get into

  120. a conversation. And he said, you know, Paul,

  121. I see you interviewed on television and I've

  122. done a little background work there. I know you've

  123. got a good marriage and family near the toast

  124. of Canada. And to me, you've got everything.

  125. But when I see you interviewed, you seem to got

  126. an edge to yourself. And to me, you seem like

  127. you're not a very satisfied person. And I looked

  128. at him and like, am I wearing a sign? Because

  129. after we got all that nonsense of Becoming a

  130. sort of a hero for a little while here. I said

  131. to Eleanor, my wife, who is the greatest wife

  132. in the world, I tell you. I said, no, there's

  133. something missing. And she said, Paul, relax.

  134. We got a great marriage. Just enjoy your right.

  135. And I said, I just have a sense. So anyway, Mel

  136. says to me, Paul, you can learn to live freely

  137. and lightly and you don't need it. But you got

  138. to look at the spiritual side of life. And I

  139. said, I don't talk about politics and I don't

  140. get into religion, because they're just arguments,

  141. you know. So anyway, the guy had patience. He

  142. said, Paul, and I said, I've tried to read the

  143. Bible, but it doesn't make any sense to me. Unfortunately,

  144. I started on the Old Testament. Anyway, when

  145. you start out as a skeptic, it's a slow turn.

  146. And he got me a Bible and he would meet with

  147. me almost... at least every two weeks. And I

  148. got to be, I could speak to you very intelligently

  149. about the epistles and everything like that.

  150. And so one morning it was March 12th and that

  151. was his birthday. I didn't know it. But I got

  152. up this morning and he had taught me to get up

  153. in the morning, start the day with the Lord and

  154. read. And so I got up and I was sitting there

  155. having a quiet time and I said to the Lord, There's

  156. so many things about you that I don't understand.

  157. Yeah. But I really believe you are who you say

  158. you are. And Mel tells me that you will wipe

  159. the slate clean. And I had a lot of things in

  160. my life that I needed forgiveness for. And so

  161. I said to him, Lord, I want you to be my Lord

  162. and Savior. And I said like this with everything.

  163. Don't you ever expect me to tell anybody about

  164. this because I'm going to be a secret service.

  165. Sure. There was only one guy that knew that I

  166. was like Ronnie Ellis, one of my best buddies

  167. and teammate of mine. He was the only guy that

  168. I knew that I was looking at. And we would go

  169. on the road. And I would take a magazine and

  170. I would put my Bible in the magazine. I see.

  171. Lean against the window so nobody knew that I

  172. was reading the Bible. That's how fearful it

  173. was because I didn't know any Christian hockey

  174. players then. But anyway, I gave my life to the

  175. Lord and the best is to be. It took me three

  176. days to get Eleanor was she grew up going to

  177. church, but you don't get radical about it. You'd

  178. be a good person. You go to church, but we didn't

  179. read the Bible or anything in my house. And and

  180. I'm a pretty passionate guy. And and Mel says,

  181. Paul, don't try to preach at Eleanor. And I told

  182. her she was. And she told me later. When I was,

  183. Mel would come to the house and that and she

  184. didn't want any part of it. And she told me later,

  185. she said, I was so worried if you become a Christian,

  186. you either do something well or you don't do

  187. it. She says, I was worried you're going to give

  188. all our money away and go want to live in a tent

  189. in Africa or something. So I sat her down and

  190. we're at the kitchen table. We've been married

  191. for 12 years and my heart was pounding. My armpits

  192. were soaked. And I said, yeah, I become a Christian.

  193. And she looked at me and she said, Oh, wonderful.

  194. And got up and walked out. And that's why she

  195. was in. So anyway, I told Mel and then we went

  196. for there and started. Well, I met with Mel and

  197. then I started to understand why. But one of

  198. the things that is God shows up every once in

  199. a while and about two weeks. after I gave my

  200. life to the Lord. Everybody, especially hockey

  201. players, read Playboy back in those days and

  202. had a prescription for it. And so anyway, I knew

  203. it was coming and I went down that morning to

  204. went to the mailbox and it was there and I picked

  205. it up and I said, I am not supposed to do this.

  206. And I took it and I threw it in the garbage can.

  207. I went upstairs and I had about 10 of my favorite

  208. playboys from the last time, threw them in the

  209. garbage. And I just knew God says, you don't

  210. ever do this again. And I'm so thankful I can

  211. say that I've never looked at one since. And

  212. that was one of the signs that God says, I'll

  213. change it from the inside out. And He's been

  214. doing that since 1975 and still got a lot of

  215. work to do. And that's why I've come here every

  216. Sunday to learn more about the Lord. Sure, yeah.

  217. Yeah, it's so interesting to hear that that sort

  218. of progression because, you know, you started

  219. saying, I don't want to talk about this stuff

  220. at all. And then then you learn a little bit,

  221. but you say, I'm not going to talk about it with

  222. other people at all. But now part of what you

  223. do is go and talk to other people about Jesus.

  224. So how did you sort of get from that place of

  225. I'm going to keep this a secret to this is What

  226. I want to do for my work now. Well, as I thought

  227. about it, the two people that I was most appreciative

  228. of in the world, Mel Sieve was the guy that led

  229. me to them, John Bradford, my matter down there.

  230. Yeah. And I said, goodness gracious, they changed

  231. my life. And I really felt God was saying, now,

  232. Paul, like I said before, I want you to go and

  233. do the same thing to others. And that's why I

  234. came back to Canada. And I started with three

  235. men downtown Toronto in a group. After a while,

  236. I asked them, do you have any friends that are

  237. sort of out to lunch spiritually? And we'll have

  238. a breakfast with them and I'll share my testimony

  239. and you two of you tell them why you're in the

  240. group. And so we got about 18 guys come out.

  241. OK. And then we got we ended up with 12 in our

  242. group. Right. And I said, well, that's the way

  243. to do it. And then just took it from there. Did

  244. the same thing. Just get to lead a guy to the

  245. Lord. Usually they have a lot of non -Christian

  246. friends. Sure. And then we just share very gently

  247. what it means to follow Jesus as a husband, a

  248. father and all that kind of stuff. OK, very cool.

  249. So in what ways has your faith then really influenced?

  250. the the work that you're doing now. Yeah. How

  251. how has that led you into into this work and

  252. how do you sort of see it continuing? Well, I

  253. just like I just said to you this. I learned

  254. from other people and I replicated. We memorize

  255. scripture. John will even then get up in the

  256. morning, start the day with the Lord and which

  257. I do. And then you develop things along the way.

  258. And then John Bradford was big on memorizing

  259. scripture. OK. And we did the two verses every

  260. week. And and and you get it into that. And the

  261. one of my good friends, actually the first guy,

  262. Ronnie Ellis, a teammate of mine at Christmas

  263. gave me a hymn book. He was he was a good singer.

  264. And there it's there's 30, 365 hymns. OK. And

  265. I started. memorizing hymns. OK. And I do it

  266. to this day. And I get up soon as I wake up,

  267. I start singing hymns or some of the Psalms,

  268. Psalms one. Yeah. You know, and and that shapes

  269. what you do. And and so obviously that influenced

  270. everything. And even being a hockey player. In

  271. fact, when I was looking, I didn't think he could

  272. be a Christian and be a hockey player. OK. OK.

  273. But I became a better hockey player after I became

  274. a Christian. OK. Because I knew I had a responsibility

  275. to God to go out there and play every shift the

  276. best way you could, whether you're losing by

  277. five goals or you're winning by five goals and

  278. to and learn to not beat yourself up. Like I

  279. used to get down on myself so bad. Make a dumb

  280. play. We lose the game. God says, nobody's perfect.

  281. Give yourself a shake. Yeah. You know, just don't

  282. make the same mistake again. And so I learned

  283. so many things from the wisdom of the Bible is

  284. where you go for everything. And of course, it

  285. takes a while to get there. And like I said before,

  286. no one ever gets to be perfect. Sure. But everybody,

  287. I don't care who you are, you can always go deeper

  288. with the Lord. And so. And I've learned over

  289. the years to set up boundaries and those things.

  290. And one day, John Bradford told us in the group,

  291. he says, why don't you go to your funeral and

  292. sit down and what do you want your wife to say

  293. about you, truthfully say about you, your children,

  294. your friends? Yeah, that's a great idea. And

  295. so and then he said. Another good thing you need

  296. to do is write a purpose statement for yourself.

  297. What are the character qualities that you want

  298. to develop in that? And so I spent a lot of time

  299. thinking about that. But like for Eleanor, I

  300. wanted to know, I sat down and thought, I want

  301. to know that she is loved and I'm going to tell

  302. her every day. And there's never a day go by

  303. that I don't tell her. I want her to feel cherished

  304. also. I want her to feel respected and I want

  305. her to feel protected. And so I wrote those things

  306. down. And so you get them. OK, Lord. And I get

  307. up every morning, Lord, you know, I pray this

  308. to Lord. There's two people. There's two things

  309. I need protection. I need protection from the

  310. devil and I need protection from myself. Yeah.

  311. And so, you know, and my thoughts, my words,

  312. my deeds would be pleasing to him. Yeah. But

  313. I have some days that, oh, my gracious Paul,

  314. give yourself a shake. And you know, but God

  315. loves me like I have three daughters. None of

  316. them were perfect. No, but they were mine and

  317. I love them. Yeah. And that's the love I remind

  318. myself that God has for me. There is therefore

  319. now no condemnation for those who are in Christ

  320. Jesus. And all you've got to do is come back

  321. and confess the thing that you're embarrassed

  322. about or whatever it would be. And God looks

  323. at me the way that I look at my daughters. Now

  324. my grandchildren. You know, I had three daughters

  325. and none of them were perfect. Now I've got grandchildren

  326. and they're all perfect. It's unbelievable. Oh,

  327. OK. Wow. So when you think about, like you talked

  328. about, you know, before coming to know Jesus,

  329. there was that sense of you were living for,

  330. you know, you wanted some riches, you wanted

  331. a sense of security and feeling like you were

  332. successful versus, you know, now your life goals

  333. are a little bit different, I think. Totally

  334. different. Yeah. Excuse me. But you don't know

  335. it. What hurts you is you don't know what you

  336. don't know. Sure. But God's way is always the

  337. way. Like Jesus says in John 12, he said, I am

  338. the light of the world. Whoever follows me will

  339. not walk in darkness, but will have the light

  340. of life. And every department of your life, there's

  341. wisdom there. Yeah. And so you don't have to

  342. be fearful. I think it's 365 days. God says,

  343. don't be fearful. Like I used to. Oh, gosh, what

  344. if my wife dies or, you know, what if I get injured

  345. badly and can't play hockey? Yeah. Worry doesn't

  346. do you one iota of good. Trust in the Lord with

  347. all your heart. Do not lean on your own understanding.

  348. Yeah. And there's difficult times. Sure. Like

  349. I got cancer in 09 and I was some like I worked

  350. out. And the same way that I played hockey today

  351. and lived a good and Eleanor's really good with

  352. good food and everything like that. And how can

  353. that be? But the reality is I don't fear dying.

  354. And I said, Lord, I'm fully convinced that I

  355. will not live a day longer than the Lord wants

  356. me to or a day less. And so I get up. OK, Lord.

  357. And every morning, Lord, I need help. Yeah. You

  358. know, yeah. And I rely on the Holy Spirit. Like

  359. before I come over here today, I said, Eleanor,

  360. you need to pray for us. And so I get in my car.

  361. I never turn on the radio. I'm in my car. I'm

  362. thinking of people. I'm praying for people. And

  363. but everybody's different, Kayla. And you find

  364. out what don't ever try to be like me. Sure.

  365. And my wife, we're totally different how we do

  366. things. What you find out. what works for you.

  367. And I believe God made me the way He wanted me.

  368. Like I'm very open, which makes it easy for talk

  369. about my faith and that kind of stuff. But but

  370. I've learned. It was really when I when I first

  371. became a Christian and I jumped to the WHA and

  372. I was really zealous about like I knew God had

  373. changed my life. One of the players on the team

  374. come up to me and he said, you know, Paul, he

  375. says, you're really a good guy, but you're getting

  376. to be a pain in the rear end talking, talking

  377. about this spirituality stuff. Right. And then

  378. there's a time and a place to do everything.

  379. Sure. And you got it. And so over the years,

  380. I've learned. And I can honestly tell you, some

  381. of my best friends in the world today are people

  382. that I've influenced to come to know the Lord

  383. personally. And I'm going to do that like I'm

  384. never going to retire. I have no desire to get

  385. up. I'd be so bored. In fact, my wife would say,

  386. get out of here. Oh, man. So then what does your

  387. sort of work and life look like right now? What

  388. is God calling you to do in this season? Same

  389. thing I've been doing for 40 years. OK. Get up

  390. in the morning, start the day with him, ask him

  391. who, where and what I should do that day and

  392. have a sense of it. But. I have always been in

  393. a men's group, always will have a men's group

  394. because you need community. And Rob really talks

  395. about that at this church, too, which I love

  396. about. And so I do a lot of praying. I start

  397. the day and I'm really fortunate. I'm a morning

  398. person. I get up very early and Eleanor doesn't

  399. come down usually to well, because she's fighting

  400. that long covid and that kind of stuff. And so

  401. I have usually an hour and a half with the Lord

  402. and then write some things down. OK, who do I

  403. need to talk about or? and I have a long prayer

  404. list. In fact, I've got them all alphabets now.

  405. And so I just whatever. But I have a lot of things

  406. like I'm doing two more podcasts after this one

  407. the next two weeks. And I do a lot. You know,

  408. I get involved in charities like different things

  409. and cancer and all that kind of stuff. So it's

  410. just amazing what happens. The phone calls and

  411. I've had to. Like last night, they wanted me

  412. to go down to the Leaf game and be a part of

  413. dropping the puck. Uh huh. And and I said, I

  414. can't do it because I've got an appointment with

  415. some people and sure. And I can't make it. And

  416. so didn't do it. So but one day at a time. Yeah,

  417. totally. And but the goodness about it, I don't

  418. have to go to any strategy meetings anymore with

  419. the ministry. I'm still with Leader Impact. Yeah,

  420. I founded it back there and. Obviously, it's

  421. thriving and we got some very, very gifted people.

  422. And the neat thing about it, I've raised up people

  423. that are better leaders than I am. And when you

  424. look over your shoulder and you can see some

  425. fruit, God's, you know. Yeah, that's good. You

  426. know, we're supposed to bear fruit and prove

  427. yourself to be. But some of my, like I said,

  428. some of my best friends in the world today are

  429. guys that were just like me. Didn't grow up as

  430. Christians, but now the Lord is the center of

  431. their lives. Right. Yeah. Very cool. So you've

  432. alluded a couple of times to this the season

  433. of dealing with cancer in your life. So how did

  434. you see God present with you in that really challenging

  435. moment? Well, obviously, I have CLL, I have Lymphoma

  436. and leukemia. And what did biopsies and they

  437. told me who I've got and then the doctor told

  438. me with CLL early treatment doesn't help any.

  439. So you've probably got a couple of years and

  440. then your blood will tell us when we have to

  441. start chemo. And the only thing they offered

  442. me in Canada was chemotherapy. And I know my

  443. body well as an athlete. And I said, I'm not

  444. going to do this. So we got on the Internet and

  445. we got and I really believe long story short,

  446. I got into a clinical trial in Bethesda, Maryland

  447. and National Institutes of Health down there.

  448. And I was in bad shape. I'd lost 30 pounds by

  449. this time. Cancer was taken over. But I really

  450. believe God opened the door for me. And and through

  451. some contacts and that. And you got a really

  452. bad shape to get into a clinical trial. Sure.

  453. And I was one of the last to get in it. And I

  454. had to go to it was an experimental drug. The

  455. oncologist I had at the time, he said, it's too

  456. experimental. Don't do it. But we really felt

  457. the Lord was telling us to do it. So we went

  458. down and I had to fly down there every two months

  459. for the first six months and then every three

  460. months. And it wasn't bad to start with, but

  461. the older I got. getting on a plane and snow,

  462. you have to stay over and everything. But just

  463. as COVID hit, I was the last one to get it. They

  464. knew it was only going to last so long, but it

  465. gives you more time. And I was the last of the

  466. 57. I lasted longer than anybody. And when my

  467. blood work went crazy, it was just the start

  468. of COVID. And my doctor over and One of my doctors

  469. at Juravinsky, I told him and he said, we've

  470. got a new drug out, Paul. OK. And so we went

  471. over and I had to get used to that. But I don't

  472. have near the side effects with this drug as

  473. I did with the other one. So I'm able to play

  474. golf. I can walk. And and so, like I said, but

  475. when you're not a fear of dying, you're not a

  476. fear of anything. And, you know, you can enjoy

  477. life. Because you only got today and I pray a

  478. lot of mornings. I did this morning, though,

  479. but Lord, this would be a good day for you to

  480. come back. Yeah, yeah. But I do have one fear,

  481. Kayla. I got to tell you a serious fear. Fear.

  482. I fear the only fear I have is that what Eleanor

  483. would die before me. I would just be distraught.

  484. She will make a lot. She will make out a lot

  485. better without me than I will without her. And

  486. I actually pray that to the Lord. Please, please

  487. let me die before her. Wow. Yeah. Yeah, that's

  488. that's a it's a heavy thing that to, you know,

  489. figure out how we walk through life without that

  490. fear. But then, yeah, there's still those things

  491. that plague us. Yeah. Well, I know that I would

  492. survive, but I mean, that's but yeah, you know,

  493. to not want to go through it. Yeah, exactly.

  494. Exactly. Yeah, for sure. So when you think about

  495. this sort of next phase of your life, what are

  496. you hoping to see God do in you or as a legacy

  497. that you leave? I want to finish well. Yeah.

  498. When I started the ministry way back, I sat down

  499. and I thought about I want to start small. Yeah.

  500. I want to get one or two groups going to see

  501. if I can raise up leaders, start small. OK. And

  502. then let it expand from there. Without good leadership,

  503. nobody's going to fall. Sure. And then I go deep.

  504. Yeah. Take them deep, get them memorizing scripture,

  505. get them spending time with the Lord every morning.

  506. The challenge of it turns to be the husband,

  507. the father's that they need to be. And then I

  508. thought, think big. So I came up with 25 groups.

  509. If I could get 25, I got a movement going. You

  510. know, start small, go deep, think big, finish

  511. well. And I don't want to be a casualty. Yeah.

  512. You know, and so how you live your life every

  513. day will determine. And so that's what I want

  514. to do. Yeah. And. Start small, go deep, think

  515. big, finish well. That sounds like a good strategy.

  516. Well, this worked for 40 years. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

  517. Oh, that's awesome. Well, thank you so much,

  518. Paul. It's been so good to hear a bit of your

  519. story and really to hear how God has been so

  520. faithful to you and in the work that you're doing.

  521. And then, of course, by extension, how God has

  522. been faithful to the people that you are leading.

  523. to all of us, because that's just who God is.

  524. Right. God is faithful to you. And as we hear

  525. that, we remember that God is faithful to us.

  526. You got that. And I tell people, I can't think

  527. of anybody in the world more fortunate than I

  528. am. I wouldn't change places. Anybody in the

  529. world. I tell Ellen, don't ever in a moment of

  530. weakness, buy a lottery ticket. The worst thing

  531. could happen to you would be that. And so I got

  532. today. Yeah. Down the road we go. Okay, good.

  533. Well, thank you so much. And thank you for tuning

  534. in to this week's episode of Trinity Talks. I

  535. hope that through Paul's story, you have been

  536. able to hear a little bit of God's work in his

  537. life, but also God's work in all of our lives,

  538. and how regardless of the situation that we find

  539. ourselves in, whether we're... in hockey or in

  540. business or just in life and family that God

  541. meets us there and is calling us to go deeper,

  542. to think bigger, and to finish well. And we'll

  543. see you again next week.
