The Curse of Lindsay Clancy - Pastor Jonathan Shelley | Stedfast Baptist Church

Amen.

Amen.

Here in 2 Kings chapter number six,

we're describing a very grievous time

for the nation of Israel

and specifically in the city of Jerusalem.

We're seeing the curses of God played out

here in this nation.

And at the end of this particular chapter,

we have just kind of a crazy story

that is very grievous to read in the Bible.

But this does happen.

And if we look back at verse 26,

it says in the king of Israel is passing by upon the wall,

there cried a woman unto him saying,

help my Lord, O king.

And he said, if the Lord do not help thee,

when shall I help thee?

Out of the barn floor or out of the wine press

and the king said unto her, what aleeth thee?

And she answered, the woman said unto me,

give thy son that we may eat him today

and we will eat my son tomorrow.

So he boiled my son and did eat him

and I said unto her on the next day,

give thy son that we may eat him

and she hath hit her son.

Now, this is a crazy story

and I wanna make it clear that what the Bible is saying here,

this is not a normal thing, of course.

These people are going through extreme starvation,

extreme war and siege.

They're being besieged by an enemy

and so all the foods ran out,

all the famine that's plaguing them

is causing them to go crazy

and to have horrific thoughts

that would normally never happen to anyone

but just through the extreme circumstances,

they've gotten to a place

where they're not only cannibalizing people in their society,

they're cannibalizing their own children

which kind of seems like an unimaginable thing

but it is something where if you pushed people

to a specific degree they could get to this place

but the Bible is basically describing

what the Bible calls a curse.

This is a curse that has happened to Jerusalem specifically

and God is cursing the children of Israel

for having turned away from his commandments

and having been rebellious against God,

going into all kinds of fornication and adultery

and idolatry and just innocent blood being shed

and just so much oppression and just all this evil

just worshiping false gods

and going after Baal which is representative of Satan,

going after all this evil

has caused God to plague them

and to bring curses upon them

so much so that the women are cannibalizing their own children

and this is what's crazy

is she asked the king to help her.

Now what is she asking for though?

She's not asking for food,

she's not asking for some kind of substance,

she's asking can we please kill another child and eat him?

That is what her request is.

She's saying hey please help me

because we already killed my child and ate it,

now I wanna kill this other woman's child

and I wanna eat it.

And you can kind of see at least the one woman,

one woman killed her own son and ate it,

the other woman was willing to eat someone else's son

but then I guess she has at least a little bit

of remorse or a little bit,

maybe she was just being deceptive

or perhaps was more remorse,

she's not willing to actually kill her own son

so even in this extreme circumstance

not every woman is willing to go down this path

but we do see at least one of them

is willing to harm their own children

and other children and just kind of gone down

this really dark path

but this is a fulfillment of Deuteronomy 28

and let's go there into the back of your Bible

or the beginning I guess I could say

to the Old Testament law

and look at Deuteronomy 28

which is a pretty famous section of scripture,

it's describing what God will do

if you follow the commandments

and what will happen if you don't follow the commandments

and the first section of Deuteronomy 28

is giving all the blessings

that God's gonna bless them greatly

and multiply them

and things are gonna go well with them

but if they don't harken

he says he's going to curse them

and I want you to notice

we're gonna just look at a few verses

look at verse 15

but it shall come to pass

if that will not harken

under the voice of the Lord thy God

to observe to do all his commandments

and his statutes which I command thee this day

that all these curses shall come upon thee

and overtake thee

and then it just lists

I mean you can just look at verses 16, 17, 18, 19

just starts with the word cursed

just cursed shall thou be in the city

and cursed thy basket

and cursed the fruit of thy body

and cursed and it's just

I mean this is a long chapter of the Bible

just saying how many ways they're gonna be cursed

cursed of God

and if you go all the way towards the end

of the curses in verse 56

the Bible says the tender

and delicate woman among you

which would not adventure

to set the soul of her foot

upon the ground for delicateness

and tenderness her eye shall be evil

toward the husband of her bosom

and toward her son

and toward her daughter

and toward her young one

that cometh out from between her feet

and toward her children

which she shall bear

for she shall eat them

for want of all things secretly

in the siege and straightness

wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates

so the Bible warns that hey

I'm going to punish you so much

so that a woman

who is a very by nature tender woman

a delicate woman

there's nothing even really

you could say a miss about this particular individual

maybe she was a nice person

in her upbringing

but she's gonna her heart

and her mind is gonna be evil affected

towards her children

and not just her children

it says her infants

because it's like talking about the one

that just came out between her feet

it's just like hey

her older children

her younger children

even infants so much so

that she is going to eat them

and this is a curse

so we can't sit here

and just blame something else

because the Bible is making it clear

this is God cursing the children of Israel

this is a curse upon a nation

when you see this kind of thing happening

where women are killing

and slaughtering their own children

in such an extreme and grotesque way

and again this is a horrific story

it says in verse 58

if thou will not observe

to do all the words of this law

that are written in this book

that thou mayest fear this glorious

and fearful name the Lord thy God

you should be afraid of God

when you see women

doing these horrific acts

because you just see how God

is punishing and cursing a nation

for doing likewise

and you know while

you know America

specifically is not the nation of Israel

America is not going through

the exact same circumstances

that the children of Israel are

because we are not going through a siege

we're not going through extreme warfare

and famine

but I feel like we can see through the text

similar parallels where

God is cursing America

and that there is a curse on America right now

in this particular category

in this particular way

and you know that's kind of where I've gotten

the title of my sermon this morning

and I'm linking it to a specific event

but it's not just only about this event

and so the title of my sermon this morning

is the curse of Lindsey Clancy

and here's the thing

why bring up that particular name

or this particular court case

that's recently happened

well here's the thing

it's kind of gathered national tension

I mean who in here would say

I have no idea who Lindsey Clancy is?

Yeah I mean that's why I'm bringing it up

okay because virtually everyone has heard about this

and it's been a big deal

social media is going crazy

on this particular issue

this has been a major event

it almost seems like more attention

on this than Charlie Kirk being killed

or being you know assassinated

and I say that because

just of how many people this is affecting

and again Charlie Kirk

I feel like affected the whole nation too

I can't even say that it didn't

but I just I've never seen so many people interested

in something like this

and we've seen just

kind of the grotesque state of our culture

and our nation

in response to this by and large

you know unfortunately there was another woman

on September 1st

that killed one of her children

and it suggested that she may have even been a copycat

but let's say she wasn't a copycat killer

then it doesn't really matter

because we're just still seeing

women slaughtering their own children

and it's not making sense

you know in America in the last few years

around 2,000 children

are being killed by their parents

either like purposefully

or through like extreme neglect

and then you know the categories

when it's just the mom doing it

it's like 456

whereas if it's just the dad

it's 197

meaning that the mothers are two and a half times

more likely to kill their own children

by the statistics in America right now

and so this is a big issue

and it's not to say that

it's not a women versus men issue

obviously there's bad men

just like there's bad women

but we're seeing just parents

being turned against their children

when it was both parents

it's 322 slaughtering

so you know in a sense

there's a lot of just death

and innocent blood

but you know 2,000

pales in comparison

to what is happening in America right now

which is still about one million abortions every year

and since Roe v. Wade

which I think in 1972

it's around that time

since that period of time

we've had 67 million abortions

that's a lot of blood

that's a lot of blood shed

that has been slaughtered in America

and in fact you know

when I was looking at these specific statistics

of parents slaughtering their children

or women slaughtering their children

and you compare America

to other developed countries in the world

America is nine times more likely

for the parents to be slaughtering their children right now

so you know when I'm saying like

hey this curse of Lindsay Clancy

I'm not just trying to take one particular event

and one particular woman and say

hey are countries bad because of one person

no there's a lot of people that are responsible

and I don't even think God

if you read the Bible carefully

is mad at a nation for having a killer

or for having bad people

it's that the bad people are not dealt with properly

then God gets mad at

when there's innocent blood shed

and then it's not dealt with appropriately

and there's not a justice that's been served

then God is gonna hold that innocent blood

the guilt of that on that nation

and on that group of people

and what we see in America right now

is we see our country as being cursed

because we're not dealing with these issues

we have 67 million abortions

and there's been no justice served

there was three children slaughtered by Lindsay Clancy

and so far there's been no justice served

she was recently in a court hearing

where it's been declared a mistrial

which you know again I'm not a legal expert

I'm not gonna pretend to be one

but based on the facts of the case

I think it's suggested that 11 of the 12 jurors

were going to potentially declare her insane or something

and say that she's not guilty of homicide

and I don't know what the ramifications of that would be

but because of this you know the chances of her

going down a new trial and being found guilty

is pretty much just statistically impossible at this point

because if only one out of 12 people were gonna convict her

the chances of you then statistically getting 12 people

that would all agree to that

and considering how much media attention

this case has gotten

I mean the chances of not having just one jury

or one juror hung up on this

is just basically a statistical zero

and so by and large you know this is my projection

my belief is they'll probably settle

or they'll probably you know try to have some kind

of a plea bargain or something

who knows what's gonna actually happen

I have no idea

but it does not appear that these three children

that have been slaughtered are gonna receive justice

and you know that's a curse on our nation

when people are slaughtering their children

and there's no justice served

that people are not caring

you know we're all the women in our country

standing somewhere and saying

we want justice for these three children

we stand with these three children

I mean what did an eight month old baby do

that it deserves to be slaughtered

and let me explain something to you

we were all eight month old babies at one point

barring the few infants that are in this room okay

I mean we basically all of us adults

we were eight months at some point

and let me explain something to you

when you were eight months old

you could not take care of yourself

you could not feed yourself

you could not change your own diapers

and you know what you needed someone

to take care of you and to provide for you

and you know what God bless our parents

and God bless the parents

that are taking care of their children

you know this is something that

should not be taken lightly

and the idea of parents

turning against their own children

is so unnatural

it's wicked it's satanic

it's a curse from God

it's a curse on our nation

that so many people are quote standing

with a murderer

and again I don't care what you think about the case

you know your opinion to me doesn't matter

because the facts of the case are

that her defense attorney said she did it

she admitted that she did it to multiple people

prior to the court hearing

and then from a premeditated perspective

she sent her husband away on purpose

so that she could do this

that is not someone just going crazy

that is someone planning

that is someone scheming

that is someone knowing what they're doing

on purpose

and so there's no way to get around

whether it was pre-made it said it or not

but let me explain my other position

if she was crazy

I still think you're guilty of murder

if you go crazy and you kill anybody

that I know or love

I'm going to say put them to death too

you know I mean can you imagine someone came to your house

and killed someone in your family

and they're like yeah but they were crazy

you'd be like I don't care

of course they're crazy

like they killed somebody

like why would I want to sit here

and justify that

you know we understand in America

and we believe in America

there's a difference between an accident

and intentional slaughter

we understand that there's a crime of passion

and that there's premeditated murder

and we have different classifications for these things

but at the end of the day

you know to say someone's crazy

so they shouldn't stand guilty of manslaughter

even or of homicide

is just backwards

it's not justice

this is not what the bible says

and show me one verse in the bible

where someone is not held accountable

for killing someone

because they were crazy

because of their mental state

and you don't think that God realized that women

after they give birth

are going to be hormonal

you don't think God realized that women

were going to have maybe the baby blues

or our struggle

with their hormone levels becoming normal again

that he wouldn't have just been like

hey I get it

after having a kid

it's really hard so if you kill him no big deal

like he didn't say that

he said it's so unnatural

it is a curse when they do such a thing

it's a curse for a woman

that's tender and delicate

to turn against their own children

and to slaughter them

in such a gruesome evil satanic way

you know this is a curse on our nation

go to Proverbs chapter 14 for a moment

and I want to look at some more verses on this

but you know in America

unfortunately you know

I'm not trying to pit the sexes against each other

or say that women are quote worse than men

because I don't believe that

but what I do believe is that women

have a certain role in society

and when they usurp that position in society

you know there's consequences

and the bible warns about there being a curse on a society

when the women are in charge

when women are ruling over men

when women have just yielded all this power

that they're not supposed to have

and in America

if you just look at voting only

women are 64 percent for abortion being legal

whereas men are 55 percent

so again you know you could argue

that even if women were not allowed

to vote in our country

abortion would still be legal potentially

because 55 percent of men

are in support of it being legal in some cases

okay as far as identifying yourself as pro-choice

61 percent of women identify as pro-choice

41 percent of men are identifying themselves as pro-choice

and I would I would assume most of those men

their wives told them that they were that way

all right

for voting democrat 53 percent of women vote for democrat

46 percent of men

now here's the thing when it comes to politics like

it's not like voting republican makes you good

and voting democrat makes you bad

because let's just be honest

the republican party is of satan too

okay but here's the thing

on this specific issue that we're talking about

and slaughtering children

the democrats by and large are more in favor of that position

and that's often a reason why many people vote democrat

is because of this single issue

I've seen many videos and many people just openly declaring

like the only reason I vote democrat

is because they're pro-choice

or because of their stance on abortion specifically

and so that's the only reason I would bring that up

you know as far as other aspects of being a democrat

or other reasons to be a democrat versus republican or whatever

I don't really care

but for sake of our conversation this morning

there's a curse on our nation

when so many people are just so bloodthirsty

that they want to slaughter children

they want to kill children

and you know what

why do you not care about babies being killed

I mean as a parent the idea of your children being killed

is one of the worst nightmares you could possibly think of

you know

so think about other people's children and care a little bit

care about the slaughtering that's happening in our country

and realize that hey there's a curse on our nation

you know before we can solve any issue

we have to just identify the problem

we have to realize there is a problem in America

there's a problem in our country

there's a problem in society

there's a problem in our culture

there's a problem where women are wanting to slaughter their children

why they want that to be the law

why they want to have these things happen

and not even necessarily just before the womb

even after the womb

well it just we should stand with her anyways

because having kids is too hard or something

you know this is this is a satanic agenda

whether abortions are acceptable

61% of women say yes

only 41% of men say yes

you know this is a curse on our nation

and there is a major major issue

look at Proverbs 14 verse 1

Proverbs 14:1

every wise woman built their house

but the foolish plucked it down with her hands

and you know unfortunately

we look at someone like Lindsay Clancy

or other women that have recently done this

not only is this a metaphor

this is literal

and a sense that they have literally plucked down their house

with their own bare hands

Lindsay Clancy strangled her own children with her bare hands

I mean she used instruments as well

but I'm just saying that like this is grotesque

this is evil

this is horrific

you know as a nation we should be sad

at what's happened

we should be sad that there's so many people

that are acting like it's not a big deal

or acting like it should be excused

or acting like it's pardonable

or acting like it's not something that should be

met with extreme justice

you know it's a curse on our nation

and we've seen so many people

that are an embodiment of this attitude

of this heart

look at Malachi chapter four

it's almost the New Testament

basically right before the book of Matthew

so if you're in Matthew you just flip back

just a few pages and you're in Malachi

it's the last book of the Old Testament

and it's kind of a warning signal

that the Bible brings up

but it's a scary place

when you live in a society

where parents don't love their children

or vice versa

but notice what it says in Malachi chapter four

verse number six

says this is the last verse of the Old Testament

I mean this is it

don't you think that would be important

the last words that God has to mankind

in the Old Testament

Malachi chapter four verse six

and he shall turn the heart of the fathers

to the children

and the heart of the children to their fathers

lest I come and smite the earth with a curse

so the Bible is saying

hey if the parents do love their children

that's a good thing

but if they don't

what is God saying

He's going to curse the earth

and let me say something

when America and its parents

have turned against the children

God's cursing America for doing so

God will curse America

for women like Lindsey Clancy

doing what she did

and not seeing justice

for women committing abortion

and not seeing justice

for abortion doctors

to exist in our society

and not see justice

that is going to cause God

to curse our nation

and to curse our country

and to curse our land

and you know what it's evil

I want to go back to Deuteronomy

go back to Deuteronomy chapter 19

I'm just trying to prove this

in every direction possible

this is a curse

I don't want you to just

think oh no

it's just one case

or one scenario

it's not a big deal

no God is mad at a nation

God is mad at an area

that will not serve justice

and you know what

this did happen in Massachusetts

which is a pretty liberal area

maybe

maybe other states would not have

handled the situation this way

okay

and you know what

I would hope that Texas

or other states

would not have done this kind of crazy

particular situation

and if people were in a jury

from Texas

maybe it would be different

I don't know

I can't necessarily say

but I'll also say this

I wouldn't be entirely surprised

if it was a hung jury in Texas

maybe not 11 to 1

but maybe 3 to 9

but even if it was just 1

I mean that's enough

to have a similar result

and I'm telling you

this is a scary place to be in

when we will not serve justice

and we're just allowing

this curse to permeate our culture

because look

it's it's bad

but did you read the curse

it can get worse

it can get way worse

and there was a lot of curses

I didn't read

but there's a lot of curses

happening to our nation

and we cannot just sit here

and allow this stuff to go unchecked

Deuteronomy chapter 19

Deuteronomy 19 · chapter mention

look at verse 11

but if a man ate his neighbor

and lying wait for him

and rise up against him

and smite him mortally

that he die

and flee then one of these cities

the elders of his city

shall sin and fetch him

thence and deliver him

in thy hand of the avenger

of blood that he may die

thine eye shall not pity him

but thou shalt put away

the guilt of innocent blood

from Israel

that it may go wealthy

you are not allowed

to have someone go to a sanctuary city

that's guilty of premeditated murder

the bible says

you have to slaughter this person

you are not allowed to pity them

it doesn't say

well

but she was having a hard time

or

well it was difficult

or she took drugs

or she didn't take drugs

or whatever

it's like no

it's just hey

if you committed

premeditated murder

you deserve the death penalty

and if you don't give it

well then you know what

God is going to hold you guilty

for innocent blood

and even if they did find a sanctuary city

we as a nation

should be like

you know what

this isn't be tolerated

and that person needs to be with the death

and you know

this would be something where

unfortunately

honestly if our federal government

was going to usurp

its authority

or

overstretch its authority on states

it would be something like this

saying hey

we can't allow states

to not execute the death penalty

and so y'all need to actually

execute the death penalty

because you know

we have all kinds of times

where the federal government

has stepped in

and done this kind of stuff

you know where they said

well some states are

not enforcing

you know slavery

and some are

and so we had a big push

to basically

from a federal perspective

you know end and abolish slavery

well a lot of people would say

that was a good thing

that we have forced that

on many states

the states are supposed to be sovereign

our federal government

supposed to be limited

but in some cases

they say hey

we have to have equal enforcement of the law

as a nation

as a country

in these circumstances

and you know what

if a state

will not put

murderers to death

premeditated murder

honestly from a federal perspective

I think they have the precedent

to actually enforce that

and you know what the bible is saying

you cannot allow

well that city does it

no big deal

no no no

as a nation

as a country

you're supposed to say

we don't allow any sanctuary cities

for premeditated murder

they do allow sanctuary cities

for manslaughter

and that's a different category

and we can talk about that later

if you do accidental manslaughter

the bible has a precedent

for sanctuary city

but for

premeditated murder

you deserve the death penalty

that's the justice

and you know what

as a nation

we should be condemning

any area

any country

any state

any jurisdiction

that will not uphold the law

and do what's right

I think massachusetts

has already gotten rid of the death penalty anyways

which I just

I can't even fathom

I don't even understand

how you would do such a thing

but

go to psalm 106

you know think about this

we will not put a serial killer to death

in some states

someone could be a literal serial killer

we will not put them to death

but they can

go into a hospital

and just kill a baby

right

they can go into some clinic

some plan parenthood clinic

and just literally

murder an innocent child

innocent baby

in its womb

that's fine

but we couldn't put a serial killer to death

it's they're not against death

they're not against killing things

it's just like

we don't kill the serial killer

don't kill the rapist

don't kill the murderer

kill unborn children

I mean this is insane the culture that we live in

and again it's a curse

because of the mindset

that's affecting American

infecting Americans

and affecting people

and you know unfortunately

a lot of people are soft on this issue

they're soft on this issue

because they've been lied to

because media and culture

and all these things

have been lying to people

satan is going full time

trying to get everybody to believe

this nonsense

and believe lies

and it's worked

and there's a heart

that's against the things of god

and against the bible

but you know what

you came to a church this morning

where we actually believe the bible

and so we're going to read the bible

that's right

look at Psalm 106

look at verse 136

I'm sorry verse 36

sorry just verse 36

and they served their idols

which were a snare under them

yea they sacrificed their sons

and their daughters onto devils

and shed innocent blood

even the blood of their sons

and of their daughters

whom they sacrificed

on the idols of Canaan

and the land was polluted with blood

thus were they defiled

with their own works

and went a whoring

with their own inventions

therefore was the wrath of the lord

kindled against his people

in so much that he abhorred

his own inheritance

notice there's a

multiplicity of issues here

but one of the issues

is sacrificing their children

to false gods

and you know even today

if you ask many abortion doctors

and many people committing these

atrocities they'll say

yea I'm doing this for satan

and whether they're saying that

ingest or not I don't really care

because they are in a sense

and you know what it's wicked

it's wicked and it's a satanic agenda

and I don't care if you have an idol there

or not

slaughtering a child is wicked

it's evil

it's one of the worst things imaginable

and you know what it makes God mad

it makes God so mad

that he says he's gonna have wrath

against his people

wrath against his people

that's a curse against his people

oh well we're saved

we're Christian

or whatever God would never be mad at us

nope he said did you read the bible

I read it

therefore was the wrath of Lord kindled

against his people

he doesn't say here

that he's mad

at people that are not his

or just the bad people

he said his people

because you know what

God can still get mad at a Christian

God can still get mad at his people

when they're allowing

children to be slaughtered

and killed

or they commit such a grievous sin

God can still be mad at you

and you know I'm not gonna lie to you

people that commit abortion

that made God very angry

now look could someone be forgiven

sure

but at the end of the day

we can't we can't say that

God wasn't mad about it

you know if the children of Israel said

God we're sorry

God we repent

God we're gonna turn away from our idols

and we're gonna turn away from

all this slaughtering of children

and we're gonna go back to the Lord

in many cases he indicates

he would forgive them

heal their land

and fix the issue

but we can't sit here and pretend

that God isn't mad at it

we can't pretend that God isn't gonna

pour out his wrath

on people

that are performing these works

or tolerating these works

accepting these works

Leviticus chapter 20 makes it clear

when people are doing this

and we turn our eye away

then God's gonna hold us guilty as well

and I'm not gonna go for there

for a second time

there's there's too much to be said

but I want to go to

Matthew 24 now

in the New Testament

and I want to give a warning because

you know

what we've been talking about

is a curse on the children of Israel

that I see happening in America as well

so we have

the curse brought up in the law

we see it fulfilled

specifically in 2 Kings chapter 6

2 Kings 6 · chapter mention

where this literally happens

and then of course

I believe it's a prophetic warning

against any nation that would do

similar activities

but it's also warning about the end times

and how we're gonna see

our culture

and the world

basically under the curse of God

and performing a lot of these

evil wicked acts as well

and the Bible warns

that there will be coming a day

when men will be like this

look at Matthew chapter 24

and I want to look at

verses 8 through 10

now

we're gonna go back to 2 Kings as well

but I just kind of want to

look at some end times here

look at Matthew 24

look at verse 8

all these are the beginning of sorrows

then shall they deliver you up

to be afflicted

and shall kill you

and you should be hated

of all nations for my namesake

and then shall many be offended

and shall betray one another

and shall hate one another

now

go to Luke 21

we're gonna see a parallel

it tells us that a lot of people

are gonna hate us

or hate the disciples of Christ

now in Luke 21

it gets even more specific about this

look at verse number 16

Luke 21 verse 16 it says

Luke 21:16

and ye shall be betrayed

both by parents

and brethren

and kinsfolk

and friends

and some of you

so they cause we put the death

and ye shall be hated of all men

for my namesake

so we see a curse that's kind of a

prophecy in the book of Malachi

about hey when parents

are turned against their children

and children are turned against

their parents

he's gonna come and curse the earth

and he wants

you know John the Baptist

was supposed to turn the hearts

of the parents back to the children

and turn the children's hearts

back to their parents

so that God would not curse the land

but when we have

just this animosity

when we have this angst

between parents and children

back and forth

well then God curses a nation

and curses a country

and curses the world

as a result of doing so

I mean one of the biggest commandments

in the bible

is to honor thy father and mother

and that determines the length of your life

this is the first commandment

given a promise

you know parents

should love their children

children should love their parents

this is natural

this is normal

and it's a curse

when this is not happening

and the end times is a cursed time

it's a cursed generation

it's a cursed group of people

where you have parents

rising up against their children

you have children

rising up against their parents

putting them to death

and you know as a country

we should see this as a warning sign

and say hey

we shouldn't allow this

we shouldn't tolerate this

we shouldn't be championing this

we shouldn't be encouraging this

we should be speaking against this

we should try to slow that down

we should try to prevent that

in our generation

but it does

it is gonna eventually happen

look at 2nd Timothy chapter 3

go to 2nd Timothy chapter 3

and what's interesting is

we see a destruction of the family

in the end times

so we see it in previous generations

previous examples

but it's like

what's interesting is how

first it's parents against children

and children against parents

and then everybody just starts blaming Christians

it's like everybody just goes against Christians

and the Bible warns about this

look at 2nd Timothy chapter 3 verse 1

also done in the last days

perilous times shall come

the word perilous means dangerous

dangerous

for men should be lovers of their own selves

covetous boasters proud blasphemers

notice this

disobedient to parents

and the next word really seems to fit

unthankful

you know why a lot of children

disobey their parents

they're just very unthankful

for what their parents have done for them

changing all their diapers

feeding them loving them

clothing them being there for them

you know how many times does the kids vomit

and you have to clean it up

I don't want to clean that up

I mean just all the heartache

all the woe all the care

all the worry

I mean my wife worries about her kids

more than I can even think

she just tells me only the thought

she has for our kids

and I'm thinking like

I haven't even had that many thoughts

let alone about the kids

like I don't even think that much

I mean she cares so much more than I do

she'll be like all last night

I had a hard time sleeping

because I was just thinking about the kids

and worried about this

she's like what about you

and I'm just like

I just went to sleep

I don't know I'm just like whatever

and it's not that I don't love my children

I'm just trying to say by comparison

I mean the thoughts and the care

and the attention and the love

that my wife has for my kids

it cannot be matched

it's normal it's natural

it's what should be happening

it's sad and it's grievous

that children would not appreciate that

and be unthankful

for all the love and care and attention

that parents have for their children

and even if you didn't have the best parents in the world

even if your parents weren't the greatest

even if your parents made mistakes

look you needed so much care and attention

for those first few years of your life

you should just be thankful period

and it doesn't even matter anything else

just that alone

because you wouldn't even be here

and it gets worse

it says unholy

and notice this verse 3

without natural affection

and we see that

we're seeing more of this

we're seeing an escalation of this

where women are not having a natural affection

for children

for their own children

but rather have turned against their children

look at them as a burden

look at them as a

as a curse under themselves

as something holding them back

and look it's not to say that children

don't have their hardships

don't have their difficulties

because they do

but that shouldn't be the only way

you look at something

you know some people

would say I love my job

but that's not because the job isn't work

it is work

but they're just appreciative that they have that job

they're appreciative that they have that work

and so yeah children are work

but you know what we shouldn't be looking at it

like it's just work

we should be looking at it like it's a blessing

to get to have that work

it's a blessing to have that job

it's a blessing to have that opportunity

and not having this attitude of like

ah it's just such a burden

ah it's just so it's so bad

you know this is a

this is the wrong attitude

and it's showing a lack of natural affection

which is a warning of the end times

I want to go back to 2nd Kings chapter 6

so we've identified a few things

number one we've identified

that when women and men

are turned against their children

it's a result of God cursing a nation

and when

children are being slaughtered

and there's no justice served

God is going to pour out his wrath

and curse on a nation that does so

and we've seen that in the end times

that's what it's going to be like

it's going to be a very difficult

difficult time to be in

I don't know how rampant that's going to be

I don't know how widespread that's going to be

you know unfortunately we already see it happening

and escalating

I mean there's not a lot

in my mind holding us back

from even entering into an end time scenario

I you know I do believe personally

that we'll probably see another temple being built

I do think that we'll see animal sacrifices return

and so personally I don't think that it can happen

anytime in the next few years at all

and I'm not even planning that it's going to happen

in my lifetime

I plan to live to be 100

okay

so I don't want you to get a weird idea

I grew up in a church

where I thought the end times are going to happen

every second

because that's what the preacher said

they're like it could happen right now

there was a guy I saw at a kids conference

in California

saying that it was extremely extremely

extremely extremely likely

that Jesus was coming back before he finished his sermon

I mean that

I mean just why are you striking fear

into children's hearts like that

and such an unfounded fear

and such a lie

and such a strange idea and concept

but I remember so many times

as a child

praying like

can I pleasantly get married

you know I was like

can you just wait

because I was just

I really desired to have a wife

and have a family

and I just I really I

wanted to grow up a little bit

and to get to be on my own

and I think especially as I become

a teenager and stuff

you have a strong desire

to be on your own

and be married

and have a family of your own

it's just exciting

and it is exciting

it's fun

and so I just remember just thinking like

oh man

it's scary

and there's always problems in the Middle East

there's always problems with Israel

whatever

and I just thought

oh the rapture could happen at any second

it was it was funny

because there was this one time where

we were having

extended family come into town

it's like my sister and whole

her family came into town

and we just have everybody at the house

and it was just like a huge

gathering

family gathering

and we couldn't find my mom

and it was weird

it was like

why would you not

like my mom is like

the the central unit to the family

she's always cooking

she's always in the kitchen

we couldn't find her

and it's been like hours

and this is like the weirdest thing like

you're at a family function

to not find mom in the middle of a day

and I just remember some people in our family being like

did she get raptured

and all of us are left behind

I'm just like

no that's stupid

you know

but like they thought

and she just

she had just

taken a plate of food to our neighbor

who was like an elderly lady

and the lady had roped her into

like a several hour long conversation

and she just felt bad

and she didn't tell anybody

so I mean she had just

I mean we're just like

did she get kidnapped

I mean like

what happened

because it was just so crazy

but it was just funny

that again

it was it was something that was on our minds like

did she get raptured

because you know

I guess the pre-tribbers

they just think

anything could be the rapture

and they're always scared or whatever

that's crazy

okay

and I don't think that we should live

on the edge

of our lives

like we just think

that the end is coming

just every second

every moment

but the bible does tell us to watch

and the bible does say

hey there's gonna be an escalation

but I believe

that when we're in the end times

we won't be wondering

okay I don't think

that we'll be wondering

or curious

I think it's gonna be so evident

we don't even need to ask the question

okay so don't get so worried

don't don't

stop living your life

live your life okay

but at the end of the day

I do also believe that if

if christians by and large

just kind of let go

of christianity

that we just

we might as

this is like

pressing the accelerator

on the end times

or something

and why would you want to do that

we should might as well

try to stay off the curses

of god and our nation

and for your family as well

but in 2 Kings chapter 6

2 Kings 6 · chapter mention

we read a little bit here

look at verse 29 again

so we boiled my son and did eat him

and I said on earth on the next day

give thy son that we may eat him

and she had hit her son

and it came to pass when the king

heard the words of the woman

that he rent his clothes

and he passed by upon the wall

and the people looked and behold

he had sat cloth within upon his flesh

now

his initial reaction sounds great

because he's he's upset

he's like I mean

can you imagine hearing this

you're the king

and your your own people

are eating their children

I mean just just the sadness

this is a sad state of affairs

this is the obvious curse on their nation

but then look what

this is his response

verse 31

then he said

God do so and more also to me

if the head of Elisha

the son of Shefat

shall stay on him this day

what the heck

a woman says

I I boiled my son and ate him

please help me eat someone else's son

and he's like

let's kill the preacher

let's kill a man of God

how does that even make sense

it's like

hey let's go back to the law

and let's read Deuteronomy 28

because they had the law

the king was supposed to even

write himself a copy of the law

he could go back and say like

oh wow God's cursing us

because we're not obeying him

maybe we should listen

to the man of God

that's been telling us

to repent as a nation

and to get right with God as a nation

but no

he hardens his heart

and actually turns against

the man of God even more

and you know what's sad

is you have people

getting up and condemning Lindsay Clancy

and condemning premeditated murder

and you know who they get mad at

they get mad at the preacher

not the woman that slaughtered her children

the man of God that gets up and says

hey

this deserves the death penalty

this deserves punishment

this is something that should not go unchecked

social media platforms

that specifically has escalated

this rhetoric is TikTok

and I tried to post a video

on there

just saying that she deserves the death penalty

it immediately violated

their community guidelines

and they just took it down

which again is just a reflection

of what's happening

in our culture and society

you say what the bible says

you're banned

you go on there

and you advocate for women

to follow in footsteps

of Lindsay Clancy

you're praised

and you get all kinds of views

because there's a satanic agenda

by the internet

by social media companies

by the people that run them

and yes we all know they wear tiny hats

I get it

but I'm just saying

that yes

because they're the synagogue of satan

because they're the ministers of satan

and a satan's agenda

to slaughter children

but isn't it interesting

they turn against the man of God

and let me say something

in the end times

it's going to be nothing different

that are killing their own children

and christians saying

and they're going to turn against you

Good Isaiah chapter three

because this is a precursor

to what happened

and God's kind of talking about

the nation already being bad

and why he's going to end up judging them

but Isaiah chapter three

looking verse one

for behold the Lord

the Lord of hosts

that take away from Jerusalem

and from Judah

the stay and the staff

the whole stay of bread

and the whole stay of water

so this is like

talking about famine

the coming

the mighty man

the man of war

the judge

and the prophet

and the prudent

and the ancient

the captain of 50

and the honorable man

and the counselor

and the cunning

artificer

and the eloquent orator

he says

what is this group

he's saying

I'm going to take these people away

okay

so you're not going to have

a mighty man ruling your nation

you're not going to have man of war

you're not going to have judges

you're not going to have prophets

you're not going to have prudent

you're not going to have ancients

you're not going to have captain of 50

you're not going to have honorable men

you're not going to have counselors

you're not going to have skilled

businessmen

you're not going to have eloquent

speakers

Now, again, it's not saying that these people don't exist in society.

It's saying these people are not the ones in charge.

These are the ones not ruling.

These are the ones not having the power.

Who has the power?

Verse four, and I will give children to be their princes and babes shall rule.

So it's like instead of having the strong guy, the smart guy, the hard worker, the

true businessman, a man of God, a preacher that's in charge of the nation, that's

ruling the nation.

You're going to have a child ruling the nation, a child like Nick Fuentes.

You're going to have a child like Mr.

Beast. You're going to have children in our nation that are wielding all of this

power and influence and just making the culture what it is.

You're not going to have people listening to an actual man of God, to an

actually person that actually worked hard or earned a living, or is someone

that you should be looking to, or a smart, wise old man.

You know, we're not listening to Ron Paul, we're listening to Mr.

Beast.

We're not listening to someone that we should be giving respect to.

It just, it just doesn't exist in our society.

He says in verse five, and the people shall be oppressed, everyone by another.

You know, you know what this made me think of?

And this is my first thought, okay?

Whether you agree or not, I'm not going to, I'm not trying to piss me

off, but you know what I thought?

Is how every single cash register now has a tip option.

We're just going to press each other, we, we, we can't even serve one

another without a tip, right?

It's like the gas station guy, I have to tip him?

Like what?

And you know, in times past, they used to pump your gas for you without a tip.

Now, they do nothing for you behind a glass, you know, plate or whatever,

and it's smelly and dirty in there.

And you know, to use the bathroom is like an experience.

Okay.

And I have to tip this person?

Like this is a weird, we're just oppressing one another.

And everybody's charging usher to everyone.

And you know, use a credit card.

It's 3% added on, surcharges.

You go to, I mean, talk about oppression, just rent a hotel.

And then look at the thing, it's just like, this tax and this tax

and this service tax, and you're just like, what the heck?

It's like, it's $99 a night.

And then it's like, you get the bill, it's $215.

Like, what the heck?

Why?

Just like all these different taxes and fees.

You know, every company's being like this right now.

Every company is just jacking up the fees and the rates

and the surcharges and the whatever.

And just we're all just oppressing each other.

And we're all just ripping each other off.

And we're all charging usher to everybody.

And every company is charging usher to everyone.

And it's just, we're just all just state, just everybody,

just oppressing every other person.

Just full of oppression.

It says, everyone by his neighbor, the child shall behave

himself proudly against the ancient and the base against the honorable.

Meaning, kids think they're smarter than their parents.

Kids think they're better than older people.

And look, of course, because of technology, this attitude

has really escalated.

Kids think because they understand how TikTok works

or something or Snapchat, that they're so much smarter

than their parents or something.

It's like, oh, you don't know how to click and flip

and switch and whatever on this stupid app.

And it's like, no.

And it's like, oh, you're so stupid.

Let me take an embarrassing photo of myself and send it to my friends

that's going to haunt me for the rest of my life

because I'm so much smarter than my parents.

And it's like, my parents don't even know how to do that.

My parents don't know how to permanently embarrass themselves

for all time on this stupid app called Snapchat.

They're so dumb.

But you know what they don't realize is there's a great wisdom

that comes with being older.

We've been through life circumstances

that you don't even realize.

And in many cases, parents are so much smarter than their children

and they won't realize until they become their parents.

And they'll be like, wow, my parents were so much smarter

than I thought.

So much, they had so much more wisdom than I realized.

And I was, I had a bad attitude.

I had a bad spirit.

But you know what?

The child should behave himself proudly against the ancient.

I mean, this is just, this is an example

of what can happen as a nation.

And, and of course it's a curse to have children ruling over you.

But, but not only curse for, for women, or I'm sorry,

for children, but also women.

Look at verse 11.

It says, woe unto the wicked, it shall be ill with him,

for the ward of his hands shall be given him.

As for my people, children are the oppressors

and women rule over them.

O my people, they which leave thee causly to air

and destroy the way of thy paths.

Now, someone might say, oh, you're a sexist for saying,

having women rulers is a bad thing.

But I'm just reading what the Bible said.

God has said that.

God said, and women rule over them.

And then it says, what happens?

They leave thee causly to air and destroy the way of thy paths.

So he's saying, when you, when you elevate women

in these positions of authority, then it's going to destroy you.

Now, let's be honest.

There's plenty of great women in this world.

And you know, the Proverbs 31 is talking about a great woman.

But let's be honest.

Do you think the woman who's busy having a husband,

raising a whole bunch of kids and taking care of her household

is going to the one that's going to elevate

to the positions of power and authority?

Or is it going to be the woman that slaughtered all her kids

or decided not to have kids or whatever?

That's just a boss babe.

And so, of course, that's the type of woman

that usually is in power, a Hillary Clinton,

some kind of like an Ellen degenerate,

some kind of a Hollywood actress that gets up and brags

was Michelle Williams brags about committing abortion

so she can get an Emmy, some golden statue.

Oh, we don't have idols.

People aren't sacrificing their children to idols.

And the Michelle Williams gets up and says,

hey, look at this golden idol that I have.

And the only reason I could even have it

is because I killed my child.

We need to be pro-choice and tells that to all of America

and tells that to millions of young women today.

How is that any different?

What's the difference there?

Some golden man statue that she says she had to

slaughter her children in order to receive.

How is it any different?

It's the same attitude, it's the same spirit

that we see happening in our culture and it's gross.

It's gross when you allow women to slaughter their children

and then elevate themselves into positions of power

and authority in our nation and they are going to

lead thee and cause thee to err

and destroy your country, destroy everything about you.

I said there was positive news.

I haven't gotten there, okay?

It's in this chapter.

We skipped it, all right?

Look at verse 10.

Say ye to the righteous, that it should be well with him.

For they shall eat the fruit of the doings.

So this is the positive message of the Sorm Room this morning.

Hey, as a nation, we need to realize we're under a curse of God.

We need to realize there is a feminism disease of the mind

in America right now and is destroying our nation.

And we should be seeking God as a nation.

We should be repenting as a nation.

We should be turning back to the Lord as a nation.

But even if the nation won't as a whole,

we as individuals need to do so.

And if you are righteous, if you repent,

if you get right with the Lord, well, you know what?

It can be well with you, even in the midst of destruction.

Because he's talking about, hey, this is a horrific time

and there's all these evils and there's children oppressing

and there's women ruling and there's all this crazy nonsense.

Say ye to the righteous.

He doesn't say you're doomed too.

He says, hey, it'll be well with you because you're going

to be awarded according to your works.

So you know what?

You can still live in Goshen while you're living in the midst

of a crooked and perverse nation.

And you know what?

That should be a positive message because unfortunately

when I look at America, there's not a lot of positives.

But here's the positive.

God's word still works and God can still bless you

in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation.

And so you know what?

You need to, as men and as women and as families,

we need to observe God's law here.

Now I have a few charges to the men because unfortunately,

you know, it's kind of their fault, in a sense,

of why we're in this situation.

Go to Proverbs 31.

And if America were to fix itself, it needs to start with the men.

And I want to prove this biblically.

But you know, the Bible says for fathers to not prostitute

thy daughter, lest it causes the whole land to fall to hoard them.

And so, you know, one of the things that we need to do as men

is we need to realize that we're in charge.

Congratulations, you're in charge.

Don't give your power and authority to someone else.

Look at Proverbs 31 and look what it says in verse number three.

Give not thy strength unto women,

nor thy ways that was destroyed the kings.

Did he say, hey, women are in charge?

Ask them nicely to be put back in charge.

No, men are already in charge.

But what he did say is don't give your strength unto them.

Don't give your power and authority unto them.

We need to realize we're in control and unfortunately many men

have decided to give their power and authority to women.

And we need to not do that.

I mean, this is a command of the Bible.

As a man, as a king, as a nation,

we should not give our strength unto women.

OK. Now, good.

If you would have first Timothy chapter two,

go to first to me chapter two.

I'm trying to prove these points.

So if you get offended, you're just offended to the Bible this morning.

But I'm trying to be honest with you

that this is what the Bible clearly teaches.

And men need to not give their strength unto women.

And what would be that?

That would be feminism. OK.

Now, I basically just have three quick points that I'm going to outlay.

This is what men as Americans and men as individuals need to do.

But we need to reject feminism.

And this is I'm talking the attitude, the mentality.

We need to say, no, we're in charge and we're the men.

Because what is feminism?

Feminism is trying to say there should be equality between the sexes.

And we should say, no,

men are in charge.

It's that it's that simple.

First time in the chapter two, verse 11,

let the woman learn in silence is all subjection,

but I suffer not a woman to teach,

nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

This is saying we should put feminism in its place

and make feminism feminine again.

Hey, you want to be a feminine woman, praise God,

but you cannot be a man. You're not a man.

You'll never be a man.

And so we need men to be in charge.

We need men to be an authority

and we need men to not give their strength unto women.

And one of those ways was the 19th Amendment

of allowing women to vote.

And look, I'm not I'm not saying that women couldn't vote correctly

because I'm sure they can.

But by and large, when you give women this opportunity,

you're surping the authority over the man and it's unbiblical.

OK, this is the first wave of feminism.

The first wave of feminism is to give them the opportunity

to vote on property contracts, education, all these different things

where they're making their own decisions

apart from what their husband or father wanted.

And you know what it put them where they're flipping the roll

and they get to make these decisions for themselves.

And that is the first wave.

And let me say this, there are many people that say,

oh, the first wave is good. I say it's wrong.

OK, and you know what it really did is it killed marriage.

The first wave of feminism killed marriage

because it now no longer put the man in charge.

It has the woman being able to make whatever decisions she wants.

The second wave was basically in the 60s and 80s,

which was my body, my choice,

which is killing their children through abortion.

The first wave killed the marriage.

The second wave killed the children.

The third wave was DEI, so that killed the workplace.

The fourth wave I'm seeing right now is Lindsey Clancy,

which is killing the law.

And if we get the fifth wave, we'll just kill the nation.

And we've killed marriage, we've killed children,

we've killed the workplace, we've killed the law.

At this point, there's not much left to destroy a nation.

And we're really close.

And what we need as men is to say, hey, you know what?

Before we just let the train go off the tracks,

before we just let everything get destroyed,

we need to go back and seek God and seek God's roles in life

and say, oh, God said to not give our strength under women.

We need to resume control of our nation.

And we need to be back in charge and submit to God

and humbly ask God to forgive us for getting out of control.

You know, Adam ate of the apple and it was wrong.

And, you know, I'm not going to prove this,

but in Numbers chapter 30, I can prove this really clear

in the Bible that if a woman makes a vow,

and her husband or father says no, then God says no.

I mean, what more authority do you need?

And of course, that's what it was like before the first wave of feminism,

that the husband and the father had a final veto in these affairs

and that women could not make those decisions without the blessing

or support of their husband or their father.

And I believe that is the right way to have a society.

OK, you can get mad at me all you want,

but that's what men need to do.

Men need to not be afraid of women and need to say, hey,

God put you in this role and we need to exercise our authority

and I'm not going to give my strength under you.

The second way you do not give your strength under them is fornication.

Men in America need to stop committing fornication.

And it's destroying our society.

You know, men control all the power and all the wealth and everything.

If men said, hey, you're not in charge

and I'm not going to commit fornication with you,

women would lose their power in this country.

You know why women yield power in our country?

Well, number one, we've given the right to vote

and we've given them positions of authority in our country, literally.

Then secondly, they yield the fornication power over men.

It's Samson and Delilah, folks.

Samson, a strong man, he yielded his strength unto this woman, Delilah.

And she took advantage of it.

If he was only going to marry a woman and stay faithful to her

that loved God, that couldn't even happen.

But unfortunately, by chasing horrors, by chasing adultery, by chasing these things,

men give their power unto women and they give them an inordinate amount

of power and influence.

I mean, there's a lot of women that don't want to work.

So what do they do?

They just sell their bodies online.

Yeah.

It's just a button they can press.

But what if that button was taken away?

Well, they would figure out the power imbalance, the power struggle,

the fact that they can't provide for themselves.

But because men are just giving out their money to horrors right now online,

which is insane.

It's literally insane.

And we're destroying our nation and our country.

I mean, we should make prostitution and online smut illegal tomorrow.

And look, it's not that it's not a temptation.

That's the whole reason we need to shut it down.

It is a temptation.

It's like, hey, let's build a huge fortress around this tree in the center

of the garden so we don't eat it, right?

It's like, it's not that this isn't a temptation.

It's not that men, even good men, won't fall for that temptation.

That's the whole reason we do need to shut it down.

And we do need to have a moment of sobriety.

And we do need to say no to that kind of stuff.

And you know what?

Men need to stop this.

Men need to stop giving their power and wealth under hordom,

under fortification, under adultery.

We want to sit here and blame Lindsey Clancy for our nation going bad.

But okay, how about men stop committing so much fortification

and going after hordom so much?

How about men stop giving them all this power and authority?

I mean, it's crazy.

I have so many verses on this, but you know, for a second time,

I'm just going to give you my last point.

Here's the last thing you need to do is you need to not go

to a church that's feminist, and this would solve our problems.

If men would say we're going to reject feminism,

we're not going to allow that in our society anymore.

It's over.

No more 19th Amendment, no more power, no more influence.

None of this stuff, it's gone.

Number two, they don't commit fortification and adultery.

They get married to one woman and they're faithful to her.

And then they decide, hey, we're going to shut

down every church that's advocating feminist principles.

We would solve our nation.

We would fix our nation.

I'm not saying that this is hyperbole.

I'm saying this is real.

If men in America would get more interested in solving

this feminism problem than football season,

then whatever nonsense, getting drunk every single night,

then you know what?

It's like how many kids have to be killed for the men

to wake up in our country and to take back control

of our country.

I mean, we're being just flooded with all kinds

of Muslims and all kinds of Hindus and all kinds

of Catholics and all kinds of false religion.

And we're allowing all of our politicians

to be influenced by Judaism.

I mean, APEC has so much control and power of our country

and they're the ministers of Satan.

They're anti-Christ.

They hate God.

When will men, when the men of our country wake up

and say, you know what?

No, no to feminism, no to fortification.

And you know what?

No to these feminist pastors.

And let's get specific about what that means.

Any pastor advocating any level of feminism is

the problem in our country.

And you know what?

They're afraid of women.

That's why they won't say what I just said.

Or they'll read a verse, but they won't apply it.

They won't bring the application

that'll actually make people upset.

You know, if you're in a church as a man

that's soft on Lindsey Clancy, you need to leave immediately

and you're the problem for supporting

that and funding that.

You guys want to talk about these non-lenom churches

having all these women overrepresented.

But here's the thing.

They're taking their husband's money

and giving it to that church.

That needs to be shut down now.

Women aren't going to be able to support

these churches by themselves.

They need the men.

You know, if you're in a church

where they're saying women can just leave their husbands,

you need to leave that church immediately.
