First Chronicles chapter 28. Thank you, Lord, verse #1 says.

And David assembled all the Princess of Israel, the Princess

of the tribes, and the captains of the companies that ministered

to the king by chorus, and the captains over the thousands, and

captains over the hundreds, and the stewards over all the

substance and possession of the king and of his sons, with the

officers, and with the mighty men, and with all the valiant

men unto Jerusalem. Verse 2.

Then David the king stood up upon his feet and said, Hear me,

my own brethren and my people, As for me, I had in my heart to

build a House of rest for the ark of the coming of the Lord,

and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the

building. But God said unto me, Thou shalt

not build a house for my name, because thou has been a man of

war and has shed blood. How be it?

Verse 4 The Lord God of Israel chose me before all the House of

my father, to be king over Israel forever.

For he had chosen Judah to be the ruler, and of the House of

Judah, the House of my father. And among the sons of my father,

he likened me to make me king over all Israel and of all my

sons. For the Lord that have given me

many sons, he had chosen Solomon my son, to sit upon the throne

of the Kingdom of the Lord of Israel.

And he said unto me, Solomon, thy son shall build my house and

my courts, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his

father. Moreover, I will establish his

Kingdom forever, if he be consistent to do commandments

and my judgment as at this day. Verse 8.

Now, therefore, in the sight of all Israel, the congregation of

the Lord, and in the audience of our God, keep and seek for all

the commandments of the Lord your God, that she may possess

this good land and leave it for an inheritance for your children

after you forever the word of God, for the people of God.

Thanks be unto God, praise the Lord.

they can get them. OK, I want to share in Part 2 of

I got my daddy's blueprints from a three word subject.

And if you don't mind, I'm going to make sure that you stay with

me by exercising your voice. And so help me out, turn to

name, say hey, neighbor, get it together, get it together.

I'm going to preach from the thought.

Get it together. The word together comes from an

old English word to Godre, which means in a body or in union.

It's a compound of two and gathered.

So when we say get it together, we're not talking about making

things look neat, we're talking about making things aligned.

Help me out. Say, aligned, aligned, ordered,

set, fitted, framed, get it together.

From Genesis to Revelation. God works not just through

individuals, but through intentional union.

When God said let us make in Genesis, he was speaking within

the divine counsel of the Godhead.

You know that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

demonstrating that the real power is never in competition.

It's in concert. Lord, I started preaching before

I even got into preaching. I'm going to say that one more

time that real power is never in competition.

It's in concern. I once heard of a small Alabama

town whose only bridge washed out in the storm.

They didn't raid on FEMA. They didn't raid on a bailout.

But every Saturday, black farmers and white teachers,

immigrants and elders and youth came together and they rebuilt

that, that bridge brick by brick together because what they

couldn't do individually, they accomplished collectively.

That that's, that's that's where we are in between the black and

white pages of the book before you or the electronic device

from which you may be reading. From where?

Where It's not just the passing down of a sketch.

It's it's, it's not just the passing down of a plan.

But check this out for today's lesson.

It's really the releasing of dimensions of a divine

blueprints. He's not just giving Solomon an

assignment. He's gathering the people to

build together. Because before bricks go down,

relationships must be built. Oh, thank you, Thank you that I,

I needed that before the walls were raised.

The people must be ready. Matter of fact.

Oxford Languages defines ready as in a suitable state for an

activity, action, or situation, or fully prepared.

Let's hear me find 3 movements of the text.

If I can get your help, I think I can push through pretty fast.

3 movements in the text that I believe are so pivotal when we

look at getting get together #1 it's in verse #8 I'm going to

jump around in the text. It says now therefore in the

sight of all Israel, the congregation of the Lord, and in

the audience of our God, keep and seek for all from the

commandments of the Lord your God, that you may possess the

good land, this good land and leave it for an inheritance for

your children after you forever. Number one, the first movement

in the sex is you got to be aligned for assignment.

You got to be aligned for assignment.

David doesn't start with architecture, he starts with

alignment. David calls everybody together

verse #1 he does not call just anybody together.

He calls very specific individuals together with

influence, with strategy, with know how, with abilities.

He calls them all together. Check this out But he does not

call them together to give them some type of architectural

rendering. He calls them together to say

that everybody here needs to align.

I think my that is going to die on me, Dick.

But he tells them all that they need to align for what God's

about to do. You know why?

Because you can't build the House of God with divided

hearts. Let me say it plainly.

Legacy isn't personal, it's communal.

Come here, come here, let me save one more time.

You got caught up in my distraction.

I say legacy isn't personal, it's communal.

Let me give you a homiletical highlight real quick, if you

don't mind. Unity is the mortar for every

move of God. Unity is the mortar for every

move of God. Doctor Cheryl Sanders said it

like this. She said unity without

uniformity is the foundation of authentic community.

I said it so fast it went over your head.

I said unity without uniformity is the foundation of authentic

community. Come here, let's go back to your

Bible. You remember in Genesis 11 when

the people were united at the Tower of Babel, God himself said

nothing they planned to do will be impossible for them.

Let me give you some more Bible Acts chapter 2.

Acts 2 · chapter mention

It was when they were all in the upper room together after being

gathered, that there on one accord, the accord, the Holy

Spirit fell like fire. Let's go back to the Gospels,

Matthew chapter 18 verses 19 and 20.

Matthew 18:19

Jesus says if any 2 of you agree on earth about anything and you

ask, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.

If you understand the beauty of coming together, that it is the

mortar. It is the mortar that comes and

causes the foundation to be substantiated.

You can give me another mic. Can we switch it out?

Raise the Lord and Psalms 133. You know that one, right?

Psalms 133 says how good and pleasant it is for brethren to

dwell together. It's like it's like oil.

It's like oil. Then it runs down the beard.

But then there the Lord commands the blessing.

No, I don't like this one. I don't like this.

And this don't sound good at all.

Get me back. Put the mics, put the batteries

in. Lord, they threw me off Lord

Jesus. You can talk to me.

There we go, that's it. I need to hear me.

Psalms 133. It says how good and pleasant it

is when God's people or brother and Joel together live together

in unity. For there the Lord commands the

blessing. It's there, it's there, it's

there. Help me out real quick and turn

to your neighbor and say it's there, it's there, it's there.

Where there is unity, there is power, but where there is

disunity, there is delay. We just saw it just now that

where there is alignment, there is advancement, but where there

is division, there is destruction.

Disobedience doesn't just block your blessing, it breaks your

building. That was so good.

I better say it again. I said that disobedience doesn't

block your blessing. It breaks your building.

Come here. You're building about, you're

building a momentum, you're building of strategy.

You're building of wherewithal. You're building of self

character, self-sufficiency in God, all that here.

You better know that before we move forward, we have to get it

together, not just in the house, but in our own hearts.

The God builds where there is obedience and order.

I'm say it again that God builds where there is obedience and

order because we have to be jointed, we have to be

connected. I'll look at the text again.

Verse #8 shows us that there was a combining of all of these

people and all these people were not just anybody.

But verse 21 tells us the specificities of who as well as

verse one. It's important at the start, in

the middle, and the end of all of who were there.

David starts calling names not just to honor, but to arrange

you ready. Because a disconnected body

can't carry divine weight. You can't build anything

significant by yourself. Your next move needs covenant

joints, not casual joints. The first movement of the text

is that they had to be aligned for assignment.

I better move fast. The second movement of the text

is still in this text and verse #9 it says, and thou Solomon, my

son, know that the God of thy father, and serve him with a

perfect heart and with a will. I'm going to make sure you had

your Bible. I want you to Fact Check me.

That's that's what the Bible say.

I ain't saying that with the willing mind for the Lord.

The Lord searches what all hearts, and understandeth all

the imaginations of the world. Thoughts.

He says If thou seek Him, he will be found of thee and now

check this out. But if thou forsake him, he will

cast the off forever. Let me move a little faster.

Verse #10 says so take heed now for the Lord have chosen thee,

you to build a house for the sanctuary.

Be strong and do it. The very second movement of sex

is that you got to be called with clarity.

Let that one sit in your suit for a little bit.

I said you got to be called with clarity.

Many brothers and sisters. David isn't just handing Solomon

some rolled up blueprints. He's anchoring him and the

people. Check this out in the vision and

the mission. David knows something.

Before the work can rise, the heart has to bow.

Before the assignment can be completed, the alignment has to

be clear. Come here.

My I can hear my pastor now. He's he would say if you stand

under it long enough, you'll stand over it soon enough.

You, you can't lead what you haven't learned to follow.

You can't carry a mission you haven't submitted to.

So David says this next era needs victors, not violators.

He says we need builders, not Breakers.

We need faithful hands, not flashy egos.

That's why David has these hard conversations, because he knows

pride can't be in this next chapter.

I'm going to say it again. I said pride can't be in this

next chapter. Spiritual arrogance has no place

in this next generation and mission drifting will wreck the

work before it even begins. So David says essentially that

everyone needs to understand the details, understand the weights,

and understand the why. Because what God is doing isn't

just for Solomon, it's for the next generation.

Help me out and tap your own self on the chest and say it's

for the next generation. It's for the next generation.

Listen, the word together, at its root, it's together.

You cannot be together if you're not gathered around something

greater than you. And David gathers them, not

around his reputation, not around his past victories, but

around the mission of God. I feel like preaching this is

not just about finishing David's dream.

It's about stewarding God's design that this isn't just

about caring for tradition, it's about caring forward

transformation. So he makes sure that everybody

here realize that we've got to be anchored him the same thing.

I I know you're called, I know I'm called, but you need to have

clarity with your calling. The worst thing is to give

somebody a tool without teaching them how to use it, because the

tool in the wrong person's hand becomes a weapon.

So he says you all here need to be anchored and what we're doing

and where we're going and who's leading because vision gives

direction and mission gives discipline and alignment gives

power and elevation always comes with examination.

I know that was tight, that was tight, but I better save one

more time for your notes and for those online that that vision.

Vision gives direction, mission gives discipline and alignment

gives power and elevation always comes with examination.

I know, I know, I know. I told you this is the year to

elevate. I know, I know, I know.

We had some good messages and a lot of people talk about

promotion and I even talked about going up.

But can I tell you something? The higher you go up, the more

you have to examine. Lord, that's tough right there.

I said the higher you go up, the more you have to examine because

your your perspective now changes.

And so now you've got to look at every tiny detail differently

than when you were on ground floor.

In this year of elevate. You've got to examine so that

you can make sure that there's power because of your alignment

and you're living in discipline according with the mission, and

you're going in the direction of the vision.

I'm going to let you know here real quick that if you can't

follow the vision, you'll frustrate the mission.

OK, let me say it another way, that if you can't follow the

direction, you'll frustrate the discipline.

It's nothing like a little child.

Nothing like a little child when you out trying to go and do

something, glory to God and you know what you need to go do.

But then they get a little antsy.

They get the moving, they get the swaying, they get the

twirling, they get the going and they touch to cause you to be

frustrated because you know where you got to go, but because

they are unsettled. Lord, I feel like breaching then

it causes this level of frustration to your mission.

My name, brothers and sisters, God does not choose the strong

to do great things. He shrimpens the chosen to do

divine things. And as we move forward, my name,

brothers and sisters, I need you to realize that the text is

teaching us that we've got to get it together.

We got to get it together within our own selves.

We got to get it together within our families.

We got to get it together within our workplaces.

We've got to get it together within our community.

We got to get it together within our city.

We got to get it together within our.

State we got to. Get it together within our

country. Lord knows we got to get it

together in this world because if not, if not prize going to

try to slide in and arrogance is going to try to rule and the

mission will drift from gods and goal.

Now, now, now, after David had set the vision and aligned the

mission be moving to this final point.

Because a vision without the right people is just a dream,

but a vision with the right people becomes a destiny.

It's one thing to know what God has called you to do.

It's another to know who God has sent to help you do it.

And that's where we find ourselves in the third movement

of this text. In First Chronicles chapter 28

and verse #20 David says to Solomon his son, Son, be strong

and of good courage. Is that what your Bible says?

He tells him and do it. And there's those colons.

I love the colons because here he tells them fear.

Fear not nor be dismayed, for the Lord God, even my God, will

be with thee. He will not fail thee nor

forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the

service of the Lord of this house. 21 And behold, the

courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with

thee. And for all the service of the

House of the Lord, thou shall be with thee for all manner of

workmanship, every thrilling and skillful man for any manner of

service. Also the Princess and all the

people will be holy at thy commandment.

The third movement, this text, as I hasten to my clothes, is

that there's shrimp in support. There's strength in support.

I was I was fortunate enough to have a conversation with Prophet

Todd Hall a couple weeks ago in in this back office of Apostle

Sammy Smith's church at Grace Cathedral upstate.

And we have no relationship other than knowing each other

and preaching circles. He said, I'm drawn to you.

He said, what's your name again? I said, Matthew, He's a long.

He said, I know you, I know you. He said, there's something

different about you. If he's I'm going to tell you

something and, and, and, and he said, he said, you know, I got a

problem with your generation. I said, OK, He said.

He said your generation want to do it.

He said, but you want to do it on your own.

I said, OK, tell me, tell me more.

Tell me more profit. He said.

He said your generation ain't like my generation.

He said, you guys think that if you started, you originated, he

said, but you got to go back to who originated all of it.

I said, OK, all right, all right.

He says, he says, he says, he said to me, he said long, He

said, you can't forgive your daddy's father and your daddy

daddy's father. And I said, OK, all right,

because I'm feeling like this is real convoluted, you know,

praise the Lord, you get me together.

I leave the God for a whole generation and I and I take it

because it was wisdom. It was strong wisdom, he said.

He said you got to be like Elijah was the Elijah.

He said that you got to take your own coat off and put your

daddy's coat on. You got to take your own mantle

off and put your daddy's mantle on, he said when Elijah caught

the mantle from his from his father Elijah, he said he

immediately turned back and his prayer was that the God of

Elijah would smoke the the waters.

He said you've got to pray the prayers of your father and your

grandfather. He said you've got to go back

and realize what God has done for generations before you.

That even though this is your time on the scene, this is not

the first time God's been on the scene.

And I'm going to tell you, my dear brothers and sisters, that

as I hasten to a close that David says to Solomon, you're

not in this by yourself. He says, hear me, You cannot

fulfill a God size vision with the me size mindset.

He said you need the right people, the right support and

the right system. So he begins here in the text to

identify three groups that everyone in the room need of.

The first group are the carriers.

Help me out, say carriers. They're they're the faithful

ones. They're the congregation, the

volunteers, the people who helped shoulder the load.

These are the faithful ones, the congregation.

I'm going to say it again. The volunteers.

The people who shoulder the load.

I'm going to say again, they're the faithful ones, the

congregation, the volunteers, the people who shoulder the

load. OK, They're the friends who show

up every time you got something going on.

The family members who always cook extra just to make sure you

don't run out, he says. They may not get the credit, but

they carry the cross with you. They show up, they lift up and

they hold up. And the first group of the

carriers, the carriers, but then the second group in the text are

the covers. Help me out.

Say covers, covers. These are the spiritual leaders,

intercessions and edit and elders, the ones who cover you

when you can't cover yourself. I think these are the spiritual

leaders who make sure that you're good.

They go to God for you. They labor and prayer.

They fast for you. They lay hands.

They they live prayers. They cover you in the secret

place when you're too weak to fight in the public space.

But the thirdly is the creatives.

Glory to God, help me out, say creatives, creators, these are

the builders, the thinkers, the planners, the artisans, the

workmen. They take what's heavy and they

make it earthly. Let me give you another one for

this. And they take what's heavenly,

how they make it earthly. They take what seems to be too

hard for you and they bring it into shape and strategy and

skill to what God has put in your spirit.

He says the son Solomon that you're going to need all of

these groups. Let me read it for you.

Verse 21 he says and behold the courses of the priests and the

Levites those there are those who cover but then he tells them

that every manner of a workmanship of the skillful man.

You're going to need them too. Those are the creatives in the

text just in case you want to Fact Check me but then he also

talks about the carriers. The carriers were the Levites

who were signed not just to help cover but also to carry some

weights. So here in the he said you're

going to need all of these people because there's something

greater coming in the future and you can't do this by yourself.

I like the scripture, Sister Shirley, because here we see

that every generation was represented.

Don't miss this. Every generation stood him, the

assembly of the king, the elders who remembered the ark, and the

youth who only knew the stories. Because everybody, he needs

somebody. Him, the blueprint.

I've got to get out of here for real.

But I want to let you know that God gave you the vision.

God's already gathered the village.

I said if God gave you the vision, he's already gathered

the village. And you don't have to chase

them. You just have to recognize them.

You got to roam today that you can be healed.

What you won't bless her and you can't sustain what you won't

structure, and you can't reach the next level if you refuse to

trust the next layer. So if you're going to try to be

the whole team, your forfeit the whole victory.

Because when God sends people, he doesn't send perfect people,

but he sends purpose people. They may come broken, but

they're assigned. They may come flawed, but

they're faithful. They may come rough around the

edge, but they're graceful. The word.

And so he says, Solomon, the vision has been given, the

mission has been clarified, and the people are in place.

And he said now it's just time for God's glory to fall.

I'm going to get out of here, but I got a story to tell.

You have a member of story about a man, he who walked past a

group of construction workers, a massive cathedral, and he saw

three men working on the same Stonewall.

He walked up to the first man and said, what are you?

Doing. And the man said I'm laying

bricks. He walks over to the second man

and asked what are you doing? And the man said I'm building a

wall. But when he got to the third man

and he said, Sir, what are you doing?

And the man stood up tall, wiped his brow, smiled and said, I'm

building a house for God. You see when you gather, when

you work together, when you lock arms.

And. Link

that you're just helping a neighbor, and you realize you're

part of healing a generation. You stop.

Thinking. You're just doing your little

part and you're really lies that God has positioned you to make a

mighty impact. It wasn't just a house for God

they were building. God was showing.

US here. He was building a

representation. Of the.

Body of Christ, every brick mattered and every stone

mattered. Every hand mattered.

Every heart. Mattered and every.

Voice It all mattered because when the.

Saints of God gather together that's why we've.

Got to gather, be together and to go further.

I feel like closing now. Help me out real quick.

Go grab somebody's. Hand and say neighbor.

Y'all disobedient? I said grab somebody's hand and

say, neighbor, we gotta go back to gathering.

We've got to go back. Come.

On where y'all at over here you got to help me close.

I said you got to go back to gathering so that we can be

together, so that we can go further.

We've got to gather, be together to grow stronger.

We've got to gather, be together to stand tall.

We've got to gather, be together to build it better.

We've got to gather to be together to last longer.

We've got to gather, be together to reach higher.

We've got to gather, be together to reach higher, to dream

bigger, to fight harder, to love deeper, to heal quicker, to move

faster, to shine brighter, to break barriers.

We got together to be together. Solve that we can live burdens.

Solve that we can carry vision, solve that we can burn purpose.

We go together, so you got to be together so we can change

history, touch heaven. Tell yourself it's time to get

it together. It's time to get it together.

It's time to get it together. It's time to get it together.

It's time to get it together. I must say it until it activates

you, it's time to get it together.

I'm saying until again in your soul, it's time to get it

together. It's time to touch heaven.

It's time to shake the earth. It's time to ignite revival.

It's time to make legacy. It's time to race generations,

it's time. It's time.

It's time, it's time, it's time. It's time.

It's time to cross threshold. It's time.

I feel you, Lord. Hey.

The unleashed potential. It's time.

The Yellow Bay destinies. It's time.

Lord knows it's time. God knows it's time.

leave. Tell your name.

It's time. To go to another level, I know

you feel weak. In your body, but it's time.

I know you say I'm this whole. But it's time, I know.

You say I ain't got no more dreams.

But it's time. God's calling you and I for this

time. Come out your head, get out your

feelings. Step in the glory.

The glory of the Lord. It's time get out your.

Pew to keep getting restricted. It's time get out your house.

God's got more. In my last 90 seconds, some of

us have been living in glory. Hallelujah.

We've been living in functional doubt.

Like we said, I'm going to use this as a crutch.

I'm going to use that as an excuse.

Come on, y'all know me? Come up with excuses.

Lord. I'm on a fixed income.

Lord, I don't get out of bed till 12.

Lord, no, no, no, no, no. Get rid of the excuses because

God already know. It's crazy how we try to go tell

God someday He don't already know.

Like we can fix it and he and he's the creator of everything.

He says the Lord is going to be with you.

And as he's going through the list, he begins to tell Solomon,

not only will the Lord be with you.

Check this out. It's in your Bible.

He tells them right there in verse 20 that the Lord will not

fail you as as I'm as I move on, I'm going to I'm going to speak

today to some of us struggling, but it seemed like areas in our

life that God failed us. That's how we can live in a

place of functional doubt. And it's not that I don't

believe God, it's just areas that he didn't move how I wanted

them to move. He didn't.

He didn't do it the way I expected him to do.

I kind of told him, this is how I need you to do it.

This is my timeline. These are the people I like.

And he and he just cancelled the whole thing.

And some of us not let me walked away from God because I still

love God, we still love God, but we've been loving God.

But this pain, this pain of of that fear of not God failing us.

But this little area has not really, we ain't got the victory

there the way we want it. So he tells Solomon, he says,

let me help you out because I don't need you to to go into

this. But any, any level of doubt, he

says, the Lord will not fail you.

Today I'm going to tell you that the Lord will not fail you.

I, I, I know what experiences you may have had.

I know you may sit in the state, but you still have those

questions. But before you close your eyes,

Hallelujah, glory. I want to echo the word of the

Lord to you and let you know that the Lord will not fail you.

That's a good place to receive that.

I said the Lord will not fail you.

The Lord will not. Man may fail you.

And the truth of the matter is a lot of things we have blamed on

God. Really we're at the hands of

man. But I'm going to let you know

that the Lord will not fail you. Come here, Paul.

Paul, I hear you in Romans chapter 8 verse 28 and we know

Romans 8:28

that all Hallelujah are working together.

Glory. I'm sorry Hallelujah, that it is

not done working, even though you may be feeling He.

It's all working together for the good of them who love the

Lord to this out and are called according not to yours, not to

mine, but to God's not done until it ends on a good note.

I don't care what you have been through in life.

I don't care what you might have been struggling with in your

heart. I don't care what but you've

been wrestling with in your mind until it ends on a good note.

God's not done with it. So you can't go into this next

phase still bothered. But you got to go into this

phase when abundance a faith in God that he's called me for this

time. That's why we got to work on our

relationships because there's some areas that we have failed

each other and they ain't even using that little crack to come

in between and to get and cause rifts in between relationships.

Some of that spinning yourself first, but those riffs in your

family relationships riffs and those work relationships riffs

and community relationships riffs and personal, I'm sorry,

professional relationships. Now we got to come back and be

aligned for this assignment. I'll let you know, but we got to

get it together. You may not know Jesus and the

free partner of your sin. I would invite you to get to

know for yourself. The building of this house was

not just for the people to spend money, it was not for them to

exert labor, but it was for God to have a place for his presence

to rest. It was for God to to dwell with

them, not in a temporary circumstances situation, but in

a permanent place. They didn't realize, but what

they were building was a model, a typology of Christ.

Paul comes back and tells us that we are the body of Christ.

He says if the hand says to the foot, I don't need you.

If the ear says to the eye, what good are you?

That's what they've been doing. All those different types of

individuals, They had to come together and realize, I may not

do what you do, you may not do what I do, but we got to gather

ourselves together. We got to get together and we

got to do and be all that God has put inside of us, to be all

that God has put inside of us to do.

Listen, God's calling you right now.

You're under the sound of my voice.

You've heard this message. And he said, you know what?

I thought the goosebumps, it was cold, it was hot.

You know, that's God pulling and tugging on you saying I want to

be your Lord and Savior. I'm already Lord and Savior.

I just want to be yours. I want you to acknowledge it

today. The Bible says you confess your

mouth, believe in your heart, thou shalt be saved.

It is not that we are not saved, but we're going to sit together

to this out together. We're going to say it.

We're going to be encouragement to you.

Pray this short prayer after me and you'll be saved.

Repeat. Lord Jesus, come into my heart.

Save me. I want to be saved.

Lord Jesus, come into my heart. I need to be saved.

Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for me.

Lord Jesus, thank you for rising God of the great for me.

Lord Jesus, thank you for soon coming again for me in Jesus

name, Amen. Come and put those sands

together. Believe my faith that someone

just received Jesus into their heart.
