  1. Welcome to the official podcast of Rock Hill Baptist Church 2

  2. where we are focused on glorifying God, spreading the

  3. gospel, and making disciples of Jesus Christ right here in the

  4. heart of Greenville, SC. Each week we bring you a life

  5. changing word from our Senior Pastor, Pastor Matthew D Long

  6. Junior, or one of our anointed guest speakers.

  7. We pray this message strengthens your faith, deepens your

  8. understanding, and empowers you to elevate in every area of your

  9. life. Let's join the service already

  10. in progress. John chapter 2 verse #4 I really

    John 2 chapter mention

  11. want to deal with verses one through 11, but forsake of your

  12. leg strength and our time together.

  13. I'd rather have your vocal support and find me at verse #4

  14. and it says Jesus said unto her, woman, what have I to do with

  15. thee? My hour is not yet come the word

  16. of God for the people of God. Thanks be unto God, and you can

  17. take your seed, and now she take your seed.

  18. I want to preach from this though.

  19. Are you ready? You ready?

  20. I'm going to preach from the thought, I ain't come here for

  21. this. I ain't come here for this.

  22. Monday brothers and sisters, timing is everything.

  23. I mean, it really is. It really is.

  24. You can have the right dream at the wrong time and you can even

  25. watch it implode. And Monday, brothers and

  26. sisters, you can have the perfect strategy and still miss

  27. your moment because life doesn't operate on your schedule.

  28. To be honest, it doesn't even wait until you're healed and it

  29. it doesn't pause when you're feeling overwhelmed.

  30. It doesn't check your bandwidth before it breaks your routine.

  31. And, and honestly, if I can be transparent with you, some of us

  32. can really attest that you can find yourself laughing in the

  33. sun and the next you find yourself questioning everything

  34. in the shadows. We've all been there, stuck in

  35. between what was planned and what is present, where

  36. expectation collides with reality, where joy starts

  37. leaking and pressures Deacon metals start rising.

  38. And here Deacon houses what really makes it worse?

  39. You can be surrounded, Sister Jackie, by celebration about

  40. silently battling chaos. Thank you.

  41. That part you can find yourself dressed for a moment that your

  42. soul can't afford, and you can be in the right place, but not

  43. ready for what hits. And the truth of the matter is,

  44. there are statistics to prove that African Americans are 20%

  45. more likely mother to face serious psychological distress,

  46. but really only one in four will go get the help.

  47. So if that's to be true, in this very room, one in every four

  48. persons find themselves only going to get some help.

  49. Someone may be smiling in public but sinking in private, maybe

  50. clapping in the crowd but cracking behind the curtain.

  51. And they may find themselves hosting the party while praying

  52. the pressure doesn't expose the pain.

  53. You see, timing isn't just about Sister Chris clocks.

  54. It's about capacity. It's about what shows up when

  55. you thought you had more time. Mother Gordine or or Mother

  56. Thelma, but you thought you had more energy.

  57. A Braylon. I mean, you felt like you had

  58. more strength or a Bree even when you felt like you have more

  59. stability. It's about what life demands

  60. when you feel least prepared to give.

  61. And I don't know who this is for, but there may be someone

  62. too, who's find themselves standing in the moment where the

  63. timing feels off and the weight simply feels unfair.

  64. But what if, what if, What if, just maybe, this moment isn't

  65. punishment, it's positioning. But if the interruption is an

  66. invitation, Deacon Davis. But if the pressure is really

  67. the platform and before we can go to the text, I got to tell

  68. you something real quick, Brother Brandon.

  69. Sometimes God doesn't give you a sign.

  70. He gives you a shift. And if you're not careful,

  71. you'll miss what he's doing because you're focused on what

  72. you weren't expecting And somebody, Dear brothers and

  73. sisters, can you help lean into this text with me?

  74. Because that's where we find ourselves in between the black

  75. and white pages of the book before you or from which the

  76. electronic device you may be reading from.

  77. It's here it's 333 observations, pointed observations.

  78. I want to give you from the text you got your Bible still right,

  79. John chapter 2 started verse #1 the Bible says, and on the third

    John 2 chapter mention

  80. day there was a marriage and Cana of Galilee and the mother

  81. of Jesus was there. Verse 2 says, and both Jesus was

  82. called and his disciples to the marriage.

  83. Verse 3 And when they wanted wine, the mother Jesus said it

  84. to him. They have no wine.

  85. My dear brothers and sisters, the very first pointed

  86. observation of this text is the perceived problem.

  87. Thank you sister Shay. I know sometimes all you got is

  88. a for that. It's the perceived problem.

  89. The text does not open with a wonder.

  90. It opens with a worry. It doesn't begin with a

  91. breakthrough. It begins another spurgeon with

  92. a breakdown. And it doesn't really start with

  93. a celebration. It starts with crisis.

  94. The wine runs out, The text here says, and that's what the people

  95. see. That's what the servants are

  96. panic about. That's what Mary brings to

  97. Jesus. They have the wine.

  98. That church is the perceived problem.

  99. It's visible, it's measurable. It's real, right?

  100. There's nothing fake but pretentious about this, a phony

  101. about it. But the reality is, it's not the

  102. root. It's not the root because

  103. shortages don't need invitations.

  104. They just make appearances and they always seem to arrive at

  105. the worst possible time. This, this is a wedding.

  106. It's it's a covenant moment, a joy filled memory in the making.

  107. And yet the joy is drying up, the laughter is about to be

  108. replaced with whispers, and the reputation of the host family is

  109. at risk. No, because this is 1st century

  110. Galilee. Wine wasn't just a beverage.

  111. It just was a Stella Rosa. Hallelujah.

  112. It was a symbol. It stood for praise the Lord.

  113. Some of y'all tightened up. I know I I got you.

  114. Don't, don't get too tight on me.

  115. Saint Louis. Hallelujah.

  116. Did this wine stay? It stood for joy, the

  117. hospitality provision, for honor and for covenants.

  118. Help me out. Say, covenant, Covenant.

  119. So the wine running out wasn't just a logistical air.

  120. It was a symbolic collapse. It was an unspoken omission,

  121. such as we weren't ready for this, or we can't sustain what

  122. we started. And maybe that's not just their

  123. testimony. Maybe that's for some of us in

  124. the room. Have you ever found yourself

  125. smiling into something you actually weren't prepared to

  126. carry? I think we better sit down at

  127. the kitchen table and talk real quick.

  128. Have you ever found yourself running out of energy?

  129. Have you ever found yourself running out of confidence,

  130. running out of resources, running out of vision, running

  131. out of stimula, running out of peace?

  132. Have you ever found yourself there well leaning?

  133. Because I'm going to tell you sometimes God will allow a

  134. public shortage to expose a private structure of

  135. self-reliance. He lets it break down so you can

  136. finally build on the right foundation.

  137. I can't hear you talking. Talk back to me, Church.

  138. Because if we keep dancing around, we'll find ourselves in

  139. this place of non confrontation when God's trying to pull us out

  140. of dysfunction. So.

  141. So he'll let it run all the way out, not to ruin us, but to

  142. rebuild us from the inside out. Because the real problem wasn't

  143. the wine. That was just the symptom.

  144. Come here. OK, so what's the real issue,

  145. Pastor? I hear you.

  146. The real issue is Braylon, they invited Jesus.

  147. Thank you for taking notes, baby.

  148. They didn't involve him. They they they had him there.

  149. They just didn't involve Jesus. They put him on the guest list,

  150. but not on the glory list. They they, they, they, they,

  151. they brought him into the room, but but they didn't give him

  152. authority in the room. Let me give you a quick

  153. homiletical highlight of the perceived problem was the empty

  154. jar. But the actual problem, Deacon

  155. Davis, was the empty strategy. They built a moment of

  156. celebration on humans. You got your Bible right.

  157. They built a moment on human supply, but not divine presence.

  158. And whenever you start without Jesus at the center, no, no, no,

  159. no, I mean for real Jesus at the center, you will eventually run

  160. out. Because if Jesus is only your

  161. backup, shortage will always be your future.

  162. And my dear brothers and sisters, I just need to park

  163. here real quick because for some reason we have fallen in love

  164. with poverty. And then I don't get it.

  165. I don't know. We we have such this scarcity

  166. mindset that that we hate talking about money.

  167. We cringe up. But you know what?

  168. We all need a little piece. OK, I'm gonna come.

  169. I'm gonna come. Let me go get a piece of piece

  170. of pound cake and come back to the table.

  171. Here. Here. 2 pieces.

  172. OK, I got you. I'll get one for you.

  173. Here. Here's the revelation.

  174. The miracle didn't start with motion, it actually started with

  175. the mindset. I know, I know you know the

  176. story, but come on, let me let me teach you a little bit more

  177. about this text because Mary here are discerning the problem

  178. says something that shifts the entire story.

  179. You got your Bible open right? John chapter 2 verse #3 says

    John 2 chapter mention

  180. they have no wine. I have no mind.

  181. They are without. Check this out.

  182. She gives no suggestion, no solutions, no scheming.

  183. She just acknowledges. Come here, scoot to the edge of

  184. your seat. I put some time on the clock.

  185. She acknowledges what is and makes room for who he is.

  186. She doesn't. She doesn't.

  187. She doesn't bring a plan, She brings.

  188. Posture. She doesn't offer a proposal,

  189. she offers presents. And I know, I know, we like to

  190. talk about grown and not grown and AIDS and all that, but the

  191. truth of the matter is that's not grown faith.

  192. That's a God centered perspective.

  193. That's that's what happens when you stop putting God in the

  194. margins of your moment and you start placing him at the center

  195. of your crisis. And I wonder for somebody in the

  196. room, you shifted your body, but have you really shifted your

  197. brain? You you've you've, you've

  198. pastored, but are you really positioned and your perspective?

  199. You come to church, but are you still operating out of anxiety?

  200. You raise your hands when told, but not because you love the

  201. Lord, but but have you really renewed your mind?

  202. OK, you may not bow in church, you bow the house so nobody see

  203. you, but are you still thinking high of yourself?

  204. Because if God isn't at the center of your mindset, then

  205. he's still on the edge of your miracle.

  206. I think I better say it again, is the mic on?

  207. I don't know. I better test it.

  208. I said, because if God isn't at the center of your mindset, then

  209. he's still on the edge of your miracle.

  210. Mindset is the miracles meeting ground.

  211. Help me out. Turn it to your neighbor and say

  212. neighbor mindset is the miracles meeting ground.

  213. Mindset is, is the miracles meeting ground.

  214. It's, it's not your emotions, It's not your feelings.

  215. It's not your Social Security check.

  216. It's not your patterns, routines or habits.

  217. It's your mind. You you know your Bible, right,

  218. You know a little bit, but if if you if you was in me and you

  219. might have had a little experience in BTU y'all remember

  220. BTU Baptist training? Oh, OK, you might know a little

  221. sound. You might remember that they

  222. taught this scripture. I'm just going to give you a

  223. piece of it. But it was Romans chapter 12,

    Romans 12:2

  224. verse 2, and you know that one. But be ye transformed by the

  225. renewing of your of your mind. Check this out.

  226. The greatest miracle God ever performs isn't around you, it's

  227. actually in you. Look, look, look, look, look,

  228. look, look at the text with me. The wine didn't run out to

  229. destroy the party and ran out to deliver the people.

  230. I don't like your voice. You got to talk a little bit

  231. more to me because if the wine never ran out, Sister Shirler,

  232. they would have kept drinking something that couldn't sustain

  233. their destiny. Mind your brothers and sisters.

  234. And in this culture, this moment, I come as your prophetic

  235. male man from heaven by the way of Louis, Delaware, Columbia,

  236. SC, Omaha, NE, Honolulu, HI, and now Greenville, SC to tell you

  237. that God's trying to pull us from this poverty mindset.

  238. God's trying to bring you into a elevated place.

  239. So God disrupted the supply. Check this out to correct the

  240. source. I know we in the valley and for

  241. some reason it really does go down in the valley, but I need

  242. you to understand that God did not bring us here for us to be

  243. enslaved to somebody else being over us.

  244. And I know you know this story, but but, but, but this text is

  245. really trying to teach us that God is trying to show that he is

  246. the source, not our 40 and 50 years on somebody's job.

  247. You know that that God is our source, not not not a federal

  248. grant or a contract, but the Lord, he is our source.

  249. I better keep on moving. And some of us, some of us have

  250. a fixed mindset. I just come for you today

  251. because some of us are fixed on how it used to be.

  252. OK. Thank you, Mother Gordian.

  253. She's the one of us in the room. I appreciate your Amen.

  254. Right now, some of us, some of us are fixed on who left.

  255. Some of us are fixed on how you thought it was going to happen

  256. by now. Some of us are fixed on formulas

  257. that no longer fit your faith. But I want to let you know that

  258. God is saying He's not going to work in our fantasy, but He's

  259. trying to actually break us into our destiny.

  260. You want new wine, You want new joy, You want new revelation,

  261. Then first you got to acknowledge what's empty.

  262. You can't hide it, you can't dress it up, you can't fake it.

  263. But you've got to say we don't have what we thought we did.

  264. And that's where the miracle begins.

  265. Not in the jar, not in the water, not in the taste test,

  266. but in the mind of the room. My, my, my, I'm.

  267. The first miracle Jesus ever performed didn't start with a

  268. physical act. It started with a mental shift.

  269. And I'm going to let you know, don't let you know that God is

  270. saying to us today that he's going to wait until we stop

  271. performing fool and start confessing empty.

  272. He's going to wait until our pride is low enough for his

  273. glory to rise high enough. He's he's going to wait until

  274. our plan collapses so his presence can carry us through.

  275. He's going to wait until our systems fail so His spirit can

  276. finally take over. So yeah, the wine ran out, but I

  277. don't want you to get distracted by the glass because I believe

  278. God is really trying to change our gaze.

  279. He's not trying to empty us. He's not even trying to punish

  280. us, Deacon Meadows. He's trying to empty us, to

  281. entrust us, Sister Etta, because what he's about to pour next

  282. can't be mixed with what you were fool of before.

  283. Help me out. Turn to your neighbors and

  284. neighbor we got to empty out. Turn to your other neighbor

  285. because I think they might need to hear this too.

  286. Tell them, neighbor, we got to empty out.

  287. And that's where we find ourselves in the second

  288. observation of this text. And John chapter 2 verse #5 it

    John 2 chapter mention

  289. says, his mother said unto the servants, Glory, Hallelujah, but

  290. I praise you. She says, Whatsoever he said

  291. unto you, Do it. And they were set there, 6 water

  292. pots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews,

  293. containing two or three firkins of peace.

  294. And Jesus said it to them, Fill the water pots with with water,

  295. and they fill them up to to the brim.

  296. The second point, the second point of observation is the

  297. practical preparation. I hope that's good and simple

  298. for your notes as you take it. I hope you take notes that the

  299. second point is the practical preparation after the crisis is

  300. confessed, after the lack is acknowledged.

  301. Jesus doesn't wave his hand. Jesus does not shout a word.

  302. Come on you, you know the story, right?

  303. Jesus does not even call for wine.

  304. Jesus gives an instruction. Now Sister Mary, check this out.

  305. It's in red, it's not black, it's in red and it's even in

  306. verse #7 it says Jesus said unto them in red, fill the water pots

  307. with water. That's not magic, not in, that's

  308. not even impressive that that's not even exciting.

  309. But. But but but but.

  310. But look closer. That's obedience, because

  311. sometimes the greatest demonstration of God's power

  312. comes dressed in the plainclothes of practicality.

  313. Where you at? Did you leave the room?

  314. I know we're at your house. We're at your table.

  315. Come on back in the room, I said.

  316. Sometimes the greatest demonstration of God's power

  317. comes dressed in the plainclothes of practicality.

  318. It wasn't flashy, it was faithful.

  319. It wasn't mystical. It was mundane it but but when

  320. Jesus speaks, even the mundane becomes miraculous because the

  321. miracle didn't begin with movement.

  322. It began with the mindset. They didn't need new jaws.

  323. They needed a new pore. They needed a new posture for an

  324. old vessel. They needed a new challenge for

  325. an ancient system. They needed a new assignment.

  326. Deacon Glen for a familiar object.

  327. And the text says it says that there.

  328. Uh huh, were 6 water pots of stone used for ceremonial

  329. cleansing. Now check this out.

  330. These weren't wine jars. These weren't kegs.

  331. Praise the Lord the glory to God that they they were celebration

  332. vessels. Why y'all looking like that?

  333. That they were hand and feet washing stations.

  334. They were ordinary, functional and predictable.

  335. But look, Jesus gives them a prophetic repurposement.

  336. Check this out. Because God will take what was

  337. designed for old time religion and repurpose it for revelation,

  338. what was meant for cleansing. He'll use it for celebrating.

  339. And that's the kind of God we serve.

  340. He doesn't discard old overlooked vessels.

  341. Come here, He feels them. God, you miss your shout, I

  342. said. He doesn't cancel them, but he

  343. crowns them with new glory. Can you lean in real quick?

  344. Because I want to give you a secret.

  345. Come here, come here. I want to let you know that God

  346. doesn't always give you new tools.

  347. Sometimes he just gives you new eyes.

  348. It's, it's not, it's not, it's not about the vessel changing.

  349. It's about the vessel being used for a higher vision.

  350. Come here. Let's walk this thing just a

  351. little bit slowly. This is these jaws.

  352. These jaws. They had been there all alone,

  353. but nobody was checking for the jaws that they they were

  354. background furniture. They were there at the party.

  355. They were part of the scenery. They were seen but dismissed,

  356. present but purposeless. But when Jesus steps in, he

  357. doesn't replace Nick and Davis. What they had, He reveals what

  358. they never saw in it. Let me give you something real

  359. quick for your notes, because you might need to remember this,

  360. that God is about to take what's familiar and flip it.

  361. He's about to take what's functional and fill it.

  362. He's about to take what's ordinary and overflowing and,

  363. and, and here's where it shifts. Mary, the mother of Jesus,

  364. sensing divine time, he turns and says to all the servants

  365. there, whatever he says to you, do it.

  366. She says do it. No, no explanation, no

  367. negotiation, no delay, no hindrance, no meeting, no, no

  368. mystery. Meet up.

  369. She just tells them be obedient and do it.

  370. You see, you see the shortages, but oftentimes gets our

  371. attention. Deacon Glenn but the strategy

  372. that's God's instruction for when we are in it.

  373. Mary doesn't call a meeting notice in the text, Sister Chris

  374. She does not even panic with the planners.

  375. She doesn't even consult the governor of the feast.

  376. She doesn't brainstorm. All she has is belief.

  377. God, I feel you in the room and I think we better go back and

  378. get us a little tea to come up with this pound cake.

  379. No, get you some water for your sugar.

  380. Get some water instead. She just believes.

  381. She believes. Check this out.

  382. Because obedience is the bridge between crisis and creativity.

  383. I think I lost them. I said.

  384. Obedience is the bridge between crisis and creativity because

  385. obedience is the womb where God's Word becomes alive.

  386. You can hear Pastor Nathaniel Greene from Dallas, TX right now

  387. who said once that opposition is the mother of creativity.

  388. But if I can add on to his quote, I would say that

  389. opposition is also the mother of obedience.

  390. Cause some of you been opposing your mom and your daddy at one

  391. point. But it was that in between

  392. space, for some reason, all of a sudden you found some obedience.

  393. It's oftentimes the tension, the tension of opposition where we

  394. find the next instruction from God.

  395. And here's the thing, Sometimes the instruction seems too small

  396. for the size of the problem we're up against.

  397. Thank you, Deacon House. I thought I lost everybody in

  398. the room. I don't know, they, they got

  399. caught up and I was turning the corner.

  400. I said sometimes the instruction seems too small for the size of

  401. the problem. But that's how God moves.

  402. He's he's he's often times testing not our ability, but

  403. he's testing our availability because you don't need to be

  404. impressive. You just need to be obedient

  405. because obedience doesn't make sense.

  406. It just makes miracles. God, that's good that that's

  407. real good right there. I ain't got time to stop there.

  408. But but but here's the tension. Obedience only works when your

  409. mind is ready to grow. God help me preach a word.

  410. You can't follow divine instructions with a fixed

  411. poverty mindset. No, no, you can't receive

  412. supernatural strategy when you're locked into old systems

  413. of thoughts. Some of us, some of us are

  414. asking God for another level, another moment, another, another

  415. season of greatness. But, but we keep showing up.

  416. But last season's mentality and and you say I didn't come for

  417. this, but God says you're right. You, you, you didn't come for

  418. this, but I brought you here to deal with this because there

  419. have been a foundational issue sitting for far too long.

  420. You, you, you thought you was coming for a party, but but the

  421. text shows that this is really a pivot of mindset.

  422. One might even thought that it was about the wine, but the text

  423. really cheap teaches us that it was really about willingness.

  424. Because fixed mindsets fear stretching.

  425. Hallelujah. I better say it one more time

  426. cuz cuz I think you got laryngitis in your voice.

  427. I said fixed mindsets fear stretching, but growth mindsets

  428. follow strategy. And can I submit to you today,

  429. my dear brothers and sisters, that we may have a following

  430. problem, that while we profess that we come to the party, the

  431. truth of the matter is we come to the party for ourselves, but

  432. not to follow anybody. Hell, are you the God?

  433. And so that's where we find, oh, that was tough, ain't it?

  434. I know the Lord got me with that one too.

  435. Then he just came back through and just got all of us, huh?

  436. But I just want to let you know, my dear brothers and sisters,

  437. that if your mind is too rigid, your obedience will always be

  438. delayed. I must say it again.

  439. The I said if your mind is too rigid, your obedience will

  440. always be delayed. And delayed obedience does not

  441. get miracles or blessings, but it always leads to shortage and

  442. begging. Ain't that?

  443. Ain't that something? So God's not just stretching our

  444. hands, He's stretching our head. He's not just saying fill the

  445. jar, He's saying fix the way you see the jar.

  446. Come here, I'm gonna read the text one more time that you know

  447. it. Romans 12:00 and 2:00.

  448. But be transform pie, the renewing of your mind, because

  449. miracles flow where mindsets shift.

  450. And God is not just changing what's in our jar, but he's

  451. changing what's in our judgment. Because if he doesn't renew our

  452. mind, we'll pour out the next blessing trying to make it fit

  453. the last season. So what does Jesus says?

  454. He says fill the water pots with water.

  455. That's all he says he gives no context.

  456. He he gives no why he gives no how other than he just says feel

  457. the water pots with water. He gives no revelation.

  458. He just gives instructions. Just feel it.

  459. I need your help. Help me out because I feel like

  460. your neighbor might need a little prophetic touch.

  461. Just tap them real closely and say feel it, feel it, feel it,

  462. feel it, feel it. That's all you got to do, Just

  463. feel it. Just feel it and just look at

  464. the But the Bible says that the servants did not crush them.

  465. The servants didn't have no gathering.

  466. They didn't have no secret text for it.

  467. All they did was they obeyed. That's all they did.

  468. The Bible says, it says, uh huh. And they filled them.

  469. That's that's that's what that's what your Bible says.

  470. It says and they filled them. But check this out verse #7 it

  471. says and they filled them up to the brim.

  472. God, y'all ready? I feel like preaching just a tad

  473. bit John. I'm about to get there.

  474. They did not feel it. They did not feel it halfway to

  475. the brim that that's full faith that that's all in trust Mother

  476. Gordon. That's I don't know how, but I

  477. believe God can kind of faith and I just want to let you know,

  478. I don't know, let you know that you can't expect brim level

  479. blessings from bottom shelf obedience because if you want

  480. the overflow, you've got to give God everything.

  481. They did not leave any room for themselves, no.

  482. They did not leave any room for error, no.

  483. They did not leave any room for margins, no.

  484. They feel these. Water pots until there was

  485. nothing left but for to touch the water box.

  486. And I want to let you know my name.

  487. Brothers and sisters, the jars here we see are now filled with

  488. water. The mindsets of this text are

  489. now shifted. Deacon Davis.

  490. But look here now the atmosphere is pregnant, but obedience and

  491. yet the miracle still has not manifested.

  492. Sister Chris, I'll check this here, check this here, check

  493. this here that there's one last one last point I'm going to give

  494. you. We're going to get out of here

  495. together. It's in John chapter 2 we find

    John 2 chapter mention

  496. starting at verse #7 Jesus says to them, fill the water pots

  497. with water and they filled them up to the brim. 8 And he said it

  498. to them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast,

  499. and they bear it. Verse #9 says, When the ruler of

  500. the feast had tested and tasted the water that was made wine,

  501. and knew not which it was, but the servants which drew the

  502. water knew the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

  503. Verse 10 And said unto him, Every man at the beginning to

  504. set forth good wine, good liquor.

  505. And when men have well, drunk, that's the text, then that which

  506. is bad, worse ain't no good. That's when they're pulling out.

  507. But look, look, is that a, is that a, is that a colon?

  508. It's a colon. It's a colon.

  509. There's more to see this he says.

  510. But you, my good man, my good self, you have kept the good one

  511. until now. Monday, brothers and sisters, my

  512. Third Point for you is the public presentation.

  513. Let's walk this together. Let's walk it.

  514. Jesus gives no spectacle of fanfare.

  515. I'm trying to find it. Just a simple instruction.

  516. He tells them, fill the water pots with water.

  517. But they didn't just obey, they filled them to the brim.

  518. And that's the kind of faith that doesn't leave margins and

  519. we leave a margin for anything else other than God.

  520. And then that's where we find ourselves, my Big Brothers and

  521. sisters, with this mystery. It's the mystery of the test

  522. because not doing the pouring, neither during the testing or

  523. the tasting. I'm Deacon Glenn.

  524. But some man between the job and the delivery, I'm sorry.

  525. I still feel glory. The water was made wine.

  526. That's where tension lies in a space called the in between, not

  527. where the word was spoken, but where the wine has been now set,

  528. but in the space, Norman's song, the unseen space where God moves

  529. in mystery. And I'm going to let you know

  530. today that. The middle is.

  531. Where your faith has has to function without confirmation.

  532. I said that the middle is where your hands have to.

  533. Carry water. He even when your heart expects

  534. why? That's why.

  535. The servant, Sister Shirley should have been shouting

  536. because they found they felt the tension in the room.

  537. These servants, they found themselves just obeying.

  538. They didn't see the outcome. Come here, Deacon Metal, check

  539. this out. But they kept on drawing.

  540. They couldn't verify the change, but they kept on moving because

  541. that's how real faith works. It doesn't wait for evidence

  542. come here now. It just carries expectation.

  543. I can hear the New Testament right saying faith is the

  544. substance. Of things things hold for.

  545. Have the evidence of things not seen God.

  546. God didn't change. He didn't change the pots

  547. because sometimes you won't see it change.

  548. But all God will tell you, he says stay on the battlefield.

  549. Sometimes you won't see things happen as fast as you hope,

  550. Sister Sharon, but all God's got for you today is.

  551. Carry it like I. Told you so.

  552. God didn't change the process, I said.

  553. God didn't change these old pots.

  554. No God. Changed the.

  555. Outcome. Because God doesn't just move in

  556. movement. Man, God, God, God.

  557. He manifests. Through mindsets and God moves.

  558. In the middle moments, I've got to get out of here now, but I

  559. want to encourage. You today, this ain't the.

  560. First time God moved in the middle of it.

  561. God. Moved in the middle.

  562. Hard and deep. And Genesis, yeah, I said.

  563. God move. Moved in the middle of a Red Sea

  564. in excellence. Can't even moved in the middle

  565. of the Jordan River when the priest were told to.

  566. Stand there in. The middle of it all in the book

  567. of Joshua. You even know about those three

  568. Hebrew boys in the book of. Daniel.

  569. Was in the middle of a fight. And I'm going to.

  570. Let you know. If you read your Bible and Luke

    Luke 20 chapter mention

  571. chapter 20. Three, you'll find Jesus even in

  572. the middle, middle himself. On the right.

  573. Hand and on the left hand. He found himself between 2:00.

  574. Male factors hanging on the old tree I want to let you know that

  575. the. Middle.

  576. Just messy. But the middle hey, hey glory,

  577. it's holy. Grail.

  578. Because we never come shows up in the middle.

  579. I've got to break loose on the app beside I got to.

  580. Get out of here now. But help me out, hold your.

  581. Neighbors. Hold your neighbors hand.

  582. They may not be able to stay in. But hold your neighbors hand and

  583. tell your neighbor I got to write for you.

  584. It might be in the middle of it, but God's going to break out.

  585. Harmi, every side read my mind ourselves in the middle.

  586. Come here, I decree in the middle of it.

  587. But I want you to know that from the middle, Jesus, do it on the

  588. tree blood. God, I love you.

  589. Blood and water coming from the middle in the middle of it.

  590. And it wasn't just I signed a pain.

  591. It just wasn't water and blood, but it was a sign.

  592. I'm a symbol, a promise and prophecy, and that's what I get.

  593. That's on the Saints today that did it.

  594. Just turn water, get some wine to impress, impress the ground.

  595. But God did it to preview. Another covenant.

  596. Lord, I love your word. I'm going to let you know that

  597. this wasn't just right, but it was a St.

  598. Oh, what was the cup? I got to let you know that the

  599. symbol that the all time managing childhood for being

  600. filled been a new wine of revelation.

  601. And what's fighting? What started?

  602. I'm sorry he's on behaving. Today, as a shortage became a

  603. stage I want to save you and what look like what if actually

  604. was just mine, waiting on the word I gotta go and I gotta go

  605. for real, but I want to let you. Know you might have been.

  606. Waiting for the wine, but I got the word to tell you to stand.

  607. Having therefore stand in the middle, stand in the middle of

  608. it. You don't see it right now.

  609. But stand come. Talk to me, Dee ain't.

  610. Nobody pushing in the middle of it because you're standing in

  611. the middle of a miracle and I want you to know if you find

  612. yourself working. And you find yourself tired.

  613. Just know Wayne, it's on the way.

  614. Let's go to the five John. Now, now, now.

  615. I got to. Let you know for real, there's

  616. one last thing. Here nothing.

  617. That shows us that the same God who turned one up water into.

  618. Wine is the same God. Is that?

  619. Not the turn your weakness. Into a witness.

  620. I said the same. God that turned 1.

  621. Up into wine. It's the same God that's going

  622. to turn. Your obedience into overflow

  623. accept the same God that's. Low.

  624. That's on water into wine. It's about to take your middle

  625. moment and ship everything. Everything, everything,

  626. everything. I need you to catch this

  627. prophetic word, I said. He's going to shift.

  628. Everything. Everything around you.

  629. So. He asked.

  630. This may not be what you came for, but he asked.

  631. I got a word from heaven that didn't come for this.

  632. But. God, I said.

  633. God, I'm almost. Out of time, I said God brought

  634. you here. He brought you here for this to

  635. remind you. That you might be in the middle

  636. of it, but the middle of. It is still holy ground and

  637. don't look at yourself and don't look at your stress and don't

  638. look at your situation with limitations.

  639. I don't know how you can sit like a bubble.

  640. Of law, but I gotta let. You know that.

  641. The miracle, Paul. Was always in motion and the

  642. wine was always in reach. But God.

  643. Needed your obedience I'm gone for real now, but I.

  644. Want to let you know. That now you're finding yourself

  645. in a season where God's going to.

  646. Begin you anew. God going to do some new words.

  647. God go. Open some new doors.

  648. I said you. Don't like this word?

  649. Do you, huh? I said, God, it's going to give

  650. you some new blessings, going to give you some new strength.

  651. It's going to give you some new figure, give you some new ideas,

  652. God. I'm sorry, preaching the fella.

  653. On me I said, God don't give you new, new innovations.

  654. So be not weary. You will do it.

  655. You shall, you shall reap. If you fail, say not I got to go

  656. for real now, but help me close my message.

  657. Grab yourself, hold yourself, sell yourself, sell.

  658. I'm holding on to the word of the Lord.

  659. I won't give up, I won't give it, but I'm a home till the end,

  660. 'cause God I changed again. Is holding, holding, holding,

  661. holding me in the middle of it. I don't like it but he's holding

  662. me. I don't want it but he's keeping

  663. me. I don't want this but he's

  664. blessing me. But he's holding me.

  665. But he's keeping me. But he's sustaining me But he's

  666. watching over me in the middle of it.

  667. Can you help me? Thank you, the Lord.

  668. And in the middle of it, I don't care about me.

  669. Praise. Thank you, Lord.

  670. Bless you, Lord. I love you, Lord.

  671. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  672. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

  673. Hallelujah, Hallelujah, no, Lord, praise here, Hallelujah,

  674. holy glory to you. Hallelujah, the devil is

  675. defeated, God is exhausted, and Jesus, I said Jesus, Jesus the

  676. Buddha, Jesus, not Muhammad, Jesus not your witchcraft, Jesus

  677. not your black magic, Jesus not your right magic.

  678. I said Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Lord.

  679. I said Jesus is Lord. I said Jesus is Lord, this is

  680. Lord. Can you help me praise him I

  681. feel? Miracles coming in the room.

  682. Can you help me praise Him? I know you're focusing on me,

  683. but the Lord's trying to work in your house.

  684. Can you help me praise Him? I know you're trying to follow

  685. me, but you want to close your eyes and you want to praise him

  686. because he's still Lord. Lord over my life, Lord.

  687. Lord over my fears, Lord over my failures, Lord over my trees,

  688. Lord over my destiny. He's the Lord.

  689. He's the Lord. I got to stop.

  690. I got to stop. He's the Lord.

  691. He's the Lord. He's still Lord under brothers

  692. and sisters. Listen, he's Lord, but he wants

  693. you to acknowledge you. Let's Lord He wants you to

  694. acknowledge John. I think you know this one.

  695. It's old hymn used to sing in the church.

  696. I said come to Jesus. He will save you.

  697. He will save you. Just now and just.

  698. Now and just now, he will save you.

  699. Just now it's real simple. You don't have to come down to

  700. the altar. The Bible says if you confess

  701. your mouth and believe in your heart, it says you shall be

  702. saved. I want you to go and repeat this

  703. prayer after me today. And again, salvation is between

  704. you and God. That's not between me trying to

  705. keep a count number. No, that's between you and God.

  706. The Bible says man looks on the outside, but God looks at the

  707. heart. It's a lot of people we think

  708. are saying they say for real because only God sees the

  709. inside. God does the work on the inside.

  710. Don't let nobody judge you, put you in condemnation because you

  711. don't look like them, sound like them, smell like them, act like

  712. them. No, God saves and doesn't work

  713. in all of us individually and it's different.

  714. I want you to pray this prayer to me, say, Lord Jesus, come

  715. into my heart, save me. I want to be saved.

  716. Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross of me.

  717. Lord Jesus, thank you for rising out of the grave for me.

  718. Lord Jesus, thank you for soon coming again for me.

  719. In Jesus name, Amen. Amen.

  720. Come on, put your hands together.

  721. Believe by faith that someone just received Jesus into the

  722. heart. Thank you for tuning in to the
