  1. And in every way that Lord, there are weaknesses in

  2. our lives, You will turn these weaknesses to strength for us.

  3. In the name of Jesus Father, we are grateful. Thank you,

  4. Holy Spirit. In Jesus' mighty name. We pray you're welcome

  5. to church. In Jesus' name. This morning, I like to

  6. discuss a matter that is to a great extent, very uncommon,

  7. something that in most times you don't hear it discussed,

  8. but there is need for us to talk about it,

  9. and talking about it we help us as Christians to

  10. be able to live our lives in a way that

  11. is pleasant to God. And what I want to talk

  12. about this money is all so related to our theme

  13. for the year twenty twenty five, and particularly this discussion

  14. was initiated by the Youth Fellowship of the Church. But

  15. after considering the discussion, I felt the need that we

  16. should bring it to the whole house and not just

  17. at the youth fellowship level, because it is something that

  18. is very important and I would like that every one

  19. of us pay very important attention. Why is it so

  20. difficult today as Christians? I don't know how many of

  21. us can see what is written on the screen here,

  22. can we all see it. I know those I decide

  23. my difficulties in seeing it. But I believe that someone

  24. God is going to touch the heart of someone very soon,

  25. and we expand our media center by the grace of

  26. God in Jesus' name. But I just want to speak

  27. on what I call enlargement through Gospel conversations. Enlargement through

  28. gospel conversations. I know the topic is does it sound

  29. familiar to anybody's confusing? Abby? Lock? Nice? Is it confusing?

  30. Is cleared? Okay? I want everybody to follow me. I'll

  31. just mention a few things and then challenge us and

  32. we go Enlargement through Gospel conversations. The youth had invited

  33. me to handle evangelism a teaching on evangelism, so I

  34. saw the need that we should bring it to the

  35. whole house and talk about it. But let me begin

  36. from this. Why is it that it is difficult for

  37. many of us to engage in gospel conversations. Part of

  38. the reason why this may be is that there is

  39. fear of rejection. A lot of us worry that people

  40. will mock us, people ignore us, people will reject us.

  41. Sometimes fear of damaging the relationships that we have with

  42. our friends and neighborhoods and people we tagous to be

  43. too religious. So because of that, we don't talk about

  44. the gospel. For some of us, it is lack of confidence.

  45. We feel we don't know enough about the Bible or

  46. how to answer tough questions. Sometimes we are not sure

  47. about how to start gospel conversations, how to start evangelism,

  48. how to talk about Jesus. Sometimes there's fear of persecution,

  49. especially in Anigeria today. In fact, we know that in

  50. some places evangelism can lead to hostility, discrimination or even

  51. legal consequences. You can be charged to court for evangelizing

  52. Christ in some places. About misunderstanding of evangelism, some of

  53. us have this understanding that evangelism is only for pastors

  54. and specially trained missionaries. Others think their lifestyle alone is

  55. enough without weber proclamation. Yes, it is good that your lifeties.

  56. You know, we say something, but beyond that we can

  57. do some more. Sometimes some of us feel we are

  58. spiritually not prepared. Sometimes we are too busy. We're too busy.

  59. So many of us we are consumed with work, with school,

  60. with personal matters, and we don't even prioritize evangelism, and

  61. we don't even bother about whether it is urgent or not.

  62. Some believe it is not their gift. Some are afraid

  63. of difficult questions. Then some of us we enjoy the

  64. comfort of Christian circles. We spend most of our time

  65. with fellow believers and don't interact much with unbelievers, so

  66. we are comfortable. Sometimes it's because of lack of trading strategy.

  67. Maybe there's no training given to anybody. So because there's

  68. no training and we can go out, sometimes some of

  69. us feel that others should do it now, after all,

  70. we have evangelism and Mission Committee, right, they should go

  71. and do it. Some it is doubt about the effectiveness

  72. of evangelism. If I go out and evangelize, what will

  73. they bring? And so many other reasons, so many others

  74. like that. You know, a lot of people are afraid

  75. of engaging in evangelism, But are their benefits for evangelism

  76. When you evangelize. Part of the benefits is the fact

  77. that you're being God's commands as given to us. In

  78. the Book of Matthew twenty eight nineteen and twenty, Jesus

  79. commanded believers to evangelize in that place go and make

  80. disciples of all nations. So sharing the gospel is an

  81. act of faithfulness to God's mission. Another benefit is that

  82. we bring people to salvation. When you evangelize, there is

  83. spiritual growth and boldness all right. When you evangelize, there

  84. is closure worked with God. When you evangelize, there is

  85. kingdom expansion. When you evangelize, you overcome fear and insecurity.

  86. The reason why you cannot do it, and beyond that

  87. is eternal reworld for few mens of God's purpose. What

  88. will happen if we don't evangelize. If you don't evangelize,

  89. you are disobedient to the message of the Cross. You

  90. are ignoring evangelism. It means you are disregarding the great commission.

  91. When we don't evangelize, souls are lost. And you know what,

  92. According to EE Chapter three, eighteen and nineteen, you are

  93. responsible for that soul that you have not spoken to

  94. about your lifestyle. If you don't evangelize, the church will

  95. continue to be empty. When you don't evangelize, it will

  96. make church to remain stagnant, and church will continue to

  97. decline Without new believers, Church becomes spiritually weak and inactive.

  98. If we don't evangelize, there is spiritual weakness, and we

  99. are going to lose our heavenly rewords. If we don't evangelize,

  100. we're going to miss a lot of miracles, and we

  101. are going to be fairly to expand the Kingdom of God,

  102. and we risk becoming lookwarm. Where you evangelize, evangelism keeps

  103. believers spiritually active and passionate. Let me speak from our

  104. text for the year twenty twenty five. Is that chapter

  105. fifty four, Verse two, Verses two and three. He says,

  106. enlarge the place of your tent, stretch out your tent

  107. curtaons wide, do not hold back, lengthen your cords, strengthen

  108. your stakes. For you will spread out to the right

  109. and to the left. Your descendants will dispossessed nations and

  110. settle in their desolate places. So let's look at that

  111. verse two again. He says, enlarge the place of your tent.

  112. Stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back, lengthy

  113. your cards, strengthen your stakes. If you look at this

  114. that text, we want to use it to understand enlargement

  115. in evangelism. What does enlargement in evangelism actually means? Number one.

  116. In that text, the Bible says, enlarge the place of

  117. your tents. What does that mean? It means that we

  118. should expand our rich. You know, we're saying that we're

  119. enlargement spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical. Enlargement is all encompassing.

  120. And I've said that that enlargements, as far as this

  121. text is concerned, is a command. And that is the

  122. same way the reason why we want to apply it

  123. in the area of evangelism. So when the Bible says

  124. enlarge the place of your tents, it means expand your rich.

  125. You are sitting down for too long. It is time

  126. for you to breakfast. So evangelisine means stepping out beyond

  127. familiar secus. And that's what at chapter one, verse eight say.

  128. You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you,

  129. and you will be my witnesses. Right how we're first

  130. in Jerusalem, right in Judea, in Samaria, and then to

  131. the uttermost part of the world. So let's read our

  132. community into it, so we'll be its witnesses. Where in

  133. Tasha right where next in Guagua, eh in Abuja Abbi,

  134. and in Nigeria and to the entire part of the

  135. world we're going to be is represents. So what are

  136. the ways that we can expand regarding this verse? Personal evangelism,

  137. sharing one on one, community outreach, helping others, and then

  138. we have mission work. Number two, the Bible says, stretch

  139. your tent courtons wide. Stretch your tent cottons wide. What

  140. does that mean making room for new believers when you

  141. up with your tent cotton Eh, What you're saying is

  142. that there is room for more people to come in

  143. this room, for more people to come in. So the

  144. church must be ready to receive new comforts. Are we ready?

  145. She lovebouptist church? Is she look aboutist church? Ready for

  146. new converts? Are we ready for new converts? Discipleship sustained

  147. spiritual growth. And that's the instruction that Jesus actually gave

  148. in Matthew twenty twenty, Go and make disciples of all nations.

  149. So if you're not discipled, it is not about coming

  150. to statadings on boogle. The discipleship is beyond that. It

  151. goes beyond that. Number three, the Bible says, do not

  152. hold back. What that means is that you need boldness

  153. in evangelisine because when you are afraid you are holding back,

  154. But the Bible says, do not hold back, don't be afraid.

  155. What that means is boldness in evangelisine. Yeah, in that's evangelisine.

  156. We must boldly share our ef faith like Paul, even

  157. in challenges, especially at a time like this in our nation, Nigeria.

  158. Nigeria needs Christ whether we like it or not. And

  159. if Christ is not there, there's going to be crisis.

  160. And that's why we have all of this crisis. We

  161. have responsibility. How can you overcome fier in evangelism? You

  162. pray for courage, you prepare with scriptures and share personal testimonies.

  163. We're going to look at some practical things that we

  164. need to do, but we're just looking at that text

  165. number four. The Bible says, lengthen your cards. So you

  166. have some cable or some cards that you have used

  167. to tie your tents. But now the Bible saying lengthen them,

  168. remove them from where they are, stretch them. What that

  169. means is that using diverse evangelism methods. All right. The

  170. reason why many of us don't do ever jealousine is

  171. because you know, the only one that we know is

  172. the one that will carry our Bible like this, eh,

  173. and then we say, everybody, let's come together. There is evangelasine,

  174. if I say there's evangelism today like this. Now, once

  175. we step out of this place, you know, now that

  176. you're in church, there's no way you can escape. But

  177. once I say, oh, everybody, let's go out, follow me. Eh.

  178. That's why you see, some people will remove their phone

  179. from their pocket. They will receive some messages from the devil.

  180. Say somebody is calling me, somebody is calling me, I

  181. need to be somewhere or gently, and then they will leave.

  182. They're going to see the person that is calling them,

  183. whether the person is calling them or not. But I

  184. know is the devil that will just be calling when

  185. you're going out for evangelism. And then some people will

  186. say you see, you see, and they will find more

  187. easy and they'll just escape. Yeah. But we have different people,

  188. I mean different ways of evangelizing because different people respond

  189. to different approaches. There's one on one witnessing. There is

  190. opening air evangelism, there is social media evangelism, and there

  191. is acts of kindness leading to gospel conversation. And the

  192. other one I'm not putting here is prayer evangelism. Prayer, evangelism,

  193. and I think the easiest one. This week, each time

  194. I was going out, I was asking God. I said, God,

  195. please get me ready. Get me ready as I want

  196. to go out. Now, help me to see opportunity for

  197. me to tell somebody about Christ type people that are

  198. sleeping by your side. This message is not boring. It's

  199. one of the most important messages of the Kingdom of God.

  200. If you're sleeping, wake up so that I don't behave

  201. like people in the Act of Apostles that people thought

  202. they were drinking. That's why they weare, you know, talking

  203. anyhow in the morning. It is too early. This is

  204. just this is just a few minutes after ten. It

  205. is too early to sleep. If today were to be

  206. working this, you won't sleep. You will display your market

  207. and you will go to work. So let's listen to

  208. the world of God. Number five that will see in

  209. that text, the Bible says strengthy your stakes, and what

  210. does that mean is to lay a firm foundation, which

  211. is what we're doing today. This is part of what

  212. we're doing today. Evangelism without discipleship leads to weak converts,

  213. and that's exactly what happens in the church. Because most

  214. times in the church a lot of people are converts.

  215. But Jesus did not say we should go and make converts.

  216. Jesus out ever, says we should go and make disciples.

  217. It is disciples that we must make. If you have

  218. convert in the church. That's why if you are saying

  219. we are going on evan journisis it's only a convert

  220. that will disappear. Disciples will not. Disciples will not. So

  221. think it where are you? Are you a disciple or

  222. you're a convert? The church must teach new believers the

  223. basic faith, help them to develop prayer life, connect them

  224. with maturementors. That's exactly what we do in discipleship. That's

  225. all that That's everything that we do in discipleship. That's

  226. all we do in discipleship. So what are the requirements

  227. for gospel conversations? Let's know for it. Number one, understand

  228. the gospel message. This is where the major problem is.

  229. Many of us don't understand the gospel message. Now, if

  230. you don't understand the gospel message, it is difficult for

  231. you to go for that evangelism. What exactly is the

  232. gospel message about? You are talking about God's love as

  233. we see in John three sixteen you are saying sin

  234. and its consequence, and that's what we see Romance three

  235. twenty three. For all, I've seen everyone, all right, And

  236. then Romans six twenty three, the Bible says the wages

  237. of sin is what is dead. So we are talking

  238. about sin and the result of sin. Okay, God has

  239. love for everyone. Everyone has seen, and the result of

  240. sin is dead. Then Jesus is the only way to

  241. receive it an life because in six twenty three we

  242. say the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ.

  243. So Jesus Christ is the only way because in John

  244. fourteen six he says, I am the Way, the true

  245. and the life. No one comes to the Father except

  246. by me. But again we understand, the salvation that we

  247. have in Jesus Christ is by grace. Is it is

  248. by grace through faith. It is not by work, all right,

  249. not by what you have done. But Jesus has actually

  250. finished everything for us. And that's what efficients Chapter two

  251. eight and I it is by faith. It is by grace.

  252. You have been saved through faith, and not of yourself.

  253. It is not by what you have done, all right?

  254. And then what do you need to do the final

  255. thing you need to do that person. You need to

  256. get the person to confess and make commitments. That's what romance.

  257. If you confess with your mouth and believe in your

  258. heart that Jesus is Lord. That's all about gospel message

  259. that God loves the world. But humanity singed and they

  260. are doomed to die. But there is a way that

  261. is found in Jesus Christ. And that way is only

  262. by salvation by grace through faith in Christ Jesus. But

  263. how do you obtain it? By confessing with your mouth

  264. and believing in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord.

  265. Types of evangelism quickly they have mentioned this, so personal evangelism,

  266. lifestyle evangelism, crusade and open air evangelism, and friendship evangelism.

  267. So all of these ones, which one of them are

  268. we doing? I didn't add the one of prayer? There?

  269. Which one of them are we doing? Who is doing

  270. any one of these ones? On one? Evangelism? Who's involved

  271. in it? Lifestyle evangelism, individuals? Hello, church is anybody is

  272. anybody's heart? I sense in my spirit that some heart

  273. as shaky by what I'm saying. You're feeling guilty one

  274. and then you are freed. You're afraid, Let me give

  275. you an ex share and experience that happened just last night.

  276. We went out last night and then we met a

  277. group of brothers. They were yours celebrating. They were celebrating,

  278. and you know in this are community, when people are celebrating,

  279. you know how they celebrate. And by way the way

  280. they were celebrating that yesterday the place we went to,

  281. I stepped out of the place after we visited the person,

  282. and then I was about going. Earlier on in the week,

  283. I've been praying, Lord, give me an opportunity for somehow

  284. I sense the only spirit you just say, go back

  285. and you just pray. So I went and I greeted

  286. all of them. After I greeted all of them and

  287. I told them they'll spray. In my prayer, I thank

  288. God for all of them. In my prayer, I said, God,

  289. with direct their future, and I say, Lord, by your messy,

  290. by that death of Christ on the cross of cavalry

  291. that is in my prayer, open your eyes, open your heart,

  292. let them see Christ as a lord of their lives.

  293. Those were content of my prayer and I left it.

  294. Who does not like prayer. And by the way, they

  295. even ask that I should come and pray for them,

  296. and I saw that as an opportunity in that prayer

  297. to say something to God about your souls. There is

  298. friendship evangelism. Friendship evangelism can be very useful, but sometimes

  299. once you have become so used to the person, you

  300. find it difficult. And that's the problem that many of

  301. us are facing. It becomes difficult for you to talk

  302. to the person about Christ. So how do we start

  303. gospel conversation? So one of the biggest challenges in evangelism

  304. is starting the conversation. All right, how do we start

  305. the conversation? We can use everyday situation. Now, it is

  306. important that we are sensitive. All right. Now, let me

  307. say this from outset. One of the reasons again why

  308. we are afraid in the place of envy jealousy, it's

  309. because what if the person does not say yes, how

  310. do I tell the person to accept Jesus Christ. You

  311. don't need to be afraid. We should give opportunity for

  312. that person to make commitments. You understand. But if for

  313. any reason, If for any reason, I was in a

  314. cab one day coming from from area one to life

  315. cam coming from Area one to Life Cam. So we

  316. follow the Express. As soon as we climb the Express.

  317. As soon as we climb the Express, the taxi driver.

  318. The taxi driver started, you know, talking to everybody inside

  319. the vehicle, and I was just praying in my heart.

  320. I said, Lord, thank you, Please, Lord, let some soul

  321. get this understanding and let their lives be touched in

  322. the name of Jesus. The driver himself, it was the

  323. one preaching. I said, Lord, thank you. Until we got

  324. we almost go to Life came and I've said it

  325. that for those of us are in that kind of business,

  326. there's a way you can even do it. Just plug Bible,

  327. the Book of John and Book of Romance. That's the

  328. only thing you should have in your in your car.

  329. Just plug it. Just instead of lending olulu look, just

  330. leave eh. Let the Bible be reading. Eh. I'm not

  331. saying there's nothing, there's anything wrong with mblene. It's good

  332. because it gives us information about what is happening around us.

  333. But excuse me, God can bless your life with souls

  334. in the Kingdom of God. Just give that thing volume

  335. and let the Bible be reading. You don't need to

  336. see anything one day, somebody is going to approach you.

  337. Bro that thing I was reading that that was coming

  338. from Dad. You'll read you where did you get it?

  339. It sounds like something that's when your only spirit begins

  340. to walk in the life. You don't need to say anything.

  341. Are you afraid? It is your car? Nobody is going

  342. to say, why are you playing that thing? Just give

  343. it a little volume, you understand. But where we get

  344. it wrong is that, oh, everybody started discussing. They're discussing,

  345. and that we kill the entire thing. But as soon

  346. as the car moves turn on that thing, everybody will

  347. calm down. Nobody will say anything inside the car. Till

  348. you get to the place where you are. You don't

  349. need to say anything. You just be playing in your

  350. heart and be saying, Holy Spirit, have your will, Only Spirit,

  351. have your will. Look at it. I've met somebody and

  352. you say, ah, it is your day. I know this

  353. is a little tough. It's a little tough, but this

  354. can happen even where you have colleagues in the office.

  355. How are you doing? What's up? I've been praying for

  356. people around me. Is there anything I can pray for

  357. you about? Excuse me, It doesn't like prayer. Is there

  358. anything I can pray about for you? You know what

  359. you are going to put in the content of that prayer, Say,

  360. why not please pray for me. I need job, Please

  361. pray for me. I need this, Please pray for me.

  362. And then you pray for the person and that is

  363. all and you go. You're not carrying bible? Now? Are

  364. you carrying bible? No, you're not carrying bible because carrying

  365. Bible alone wants to see you. They will tell you

  366. they are busy. Please don't disturb me about current events.

  367. These are hard at difficult times. Do you think about

  368. spiritual things, about show showing care and kindness, help someone

  369. in need. Then use the opportunity to share the gospel.

  370. Somebody has asked you for food, and you give the

  371. person food. Do you remember the conversation of Jesus without

  372. Samritian woman? How did Jesus start? How did Jesus start? Eh?

  373. Give me water cow worlds rua bannie rua eh if

  374. And I go to carasana now and I'm just working

  375. and ah and I sit down somewhere with maker no

  376. and I say, eh, mama, bunny co signing, go and

  377. say it's signing all right, then I sit down and

  378. I will just take the con and as i'm I

  379. can begin my conversation. How is your family, madam? How's

  380. this one? How's the business? And all of these ones?

  381. I know where I am going, and by the power

  382. of your this spirit, your spirit to be guiding me

  383. on what to say so that we're not missing. And

  384. before you know it, I don't need to say you know,

  385. are you ready to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord

  386. saved you? No, I don't need to say that. All

  387. I'm going to say is that you see this con

  388. that you have given to me. Eh, it is the thing.

  389. Don't cool my body way away, madam? But you know

  390. say and now so all of us we don't tire

  391. of life. But you get percy. Wait if you give peers,

  392. one thing will be saying. If he gives you and

  393. now sow your life, go there at peace? She go there? Listen,

  394. Are you know that person? Jesus God bless you, madam,

  395. Thank you very much, and then you work her? Did

  396. you you stop that person? All of these things would

  397. have happened in how many minutes, eh, maybe less than

  398. five minutes. And I'll carry my canot drink and drop

  399. the the gong and go. It is done right, It

  400. is done asking thought provoking questions. This is another way

  401. we can do it. A question like do you believe

  402. in life after death? You see questions like this. Maybe

  403. one other time we can spend more time on this.

  404. The point is, once you ask some bo do you

  405. believe in afterlife? Let them talk? You're not you want

  406. to talk? You are not you want to talk doing

  407. your talk. Everything that you are going to be asking

  408. is going to be questioned from just listening attentively. And

  409. if you are listening, you ask the only spirit to

  410. teach you from one question to another, from question to

  411. another question, from question to At the end of the day,

  412. do you do you know that kind of conversation. That's

  413. the way lawyers do. Eh, that's how lawyers do. And

  414. even please, they want to interrogate you from everything you

  415. have said. They will ask you a questions from everything

  416. you have said. They will ask you questions from everything

  417. you have said. Again, in your response, you're asking you

  418. a question. At the end of the day, your eyes

  419. will be clear that you have actually committed your friends.

  420. Then there is need for solution. So what's not your solution,

  421. which is what you you are ready to present. So life,

  422. what do you think is the purpose of life? Many

  423. people may not be able to answer that question. What

  424. do you think is the purpose of life? Can I

  425. ask somebody in the house this money? What do you

  426. think is the purpose of your life? Until you know

  427. the purpose of your life, there is no direction for

  428. that life. You are just going to live like every

  429. other person. Another one is if you die today, are

  430. you sure you will go to eaven? So many things

  431. are there? Does the person you won't believe in even?

  432. But you have put together your own belief The person

  433. may answer you and tell you I don't believe there's ever.

  434. Then the question will be why don't you think there's even?

  435. The person will give you the reason, and from that

  436. reason you begin to That is conversation. You just talk.

  437. It's as if you're just having ordinary conversation. But I

  438. can tell you that your only spirit is walking behind

  439. the scene. We must change our tactics. Sharing your testimony,

  440. all right? This is another one that is very interesting.

  441. How many of us can share our testimony? How many

  442. of us can share our testimony? What are you saying

  443. in your testimony? You have to keep it short, make

  444. it clear, and make it relatable. Your life before Christ,

  445. how you met Christ, How has your life changed? Simple?

  446. That's everything you're just going to say in your testimony.

  447. And once you're done with that, you don't using There's

  448. what we call romance road. Romance road. I want them

  449. to do a teaching on this sometime lasted. Maybe I

  450. can bring a full teaching on this one. It's a

  451. way that we can. You see all this some I

  452. mean Romance three twenty three, six twenty three, Romance five eight,

  453. Romance eight nineteen. Everything is just there. That's all that

  454. you need. Step by step. This one tells you all

  455. I've seen. This one tells you sin this to death,

  456. but there is offer in God. Then this one says

  457. Christ die for us. And this one say you can

  458. confess and believe in Christ, and then you finish. That's

  459. all about the gospel. That's all about the gospel. Offering

  460. a response opportunity. That's another. Would you like to know

  461. Jesus personality if somebody wants to this just the waist.

  462. This is just the ways, all right. The other part

  463. is follow up and discipleship. And discipleship. God Christ has

  464. commanded every one of us to disciple others. But today

  465. part of what we're doing is to leave discipleship for

  466. some people. No, you have to disciple. You have to

  467. disciple is each one of us. We have that responsibility

  468. to disciple others. So encourage church involvement. Since daily devotion

  469. and mentorship, that's what we see in that and follow up?

  470. So what are they practical steps to evangelistic enlargement? All right?

  471. Personal commitment? Are you committed to this assignment? God has

  472. committed as giving us a command, you have to be

  473. committed to it, whether on a personal basis or in church.

  474. Very soon the church will be organizing some some outreach

  475. program and I want to believe that everyone of us

  476. will show up, right, I want to believe that everyone

  477. of us will show up. Don't worry. Come and see

  478. it now, and you don't even need to see anything.

  479. You just stay. If we say twol of you should

  480. go out and you just stay, let's be with the

  481. person that can talk. You just stay and be praying

  482. for that person. You understand, that's what you can do.

  483. You just be praying for that person. Eh. There are

  484. so many opportunities for us listen, if we don't do this.

  485. If you don't do this, we're only endangering our own lives.

  486. You see, those people that don't know Jesus, they will

  487. become a ton in the flo for you, and they

  488. will bid you, want to destroy you. Why not show

  489. them Christ? Let Christ reign in their hearts. When Christ

  490. is raining in their hearts, you know what will happen.

  491. We are going to be on the same side. Is

  492. that also all of us will be on the same side.

  493. Nobody will come and attack us at night. The solution

  494. to the problem of our community is in the hand

  495. of each of us as we are here. In one

  496. of our discipleship programs, there's what we call five and

  497. five plans, and follow the Master five and five plans.

  498. The five and five plans are five people. You're going

  499. to write the names of five people that you can

  500. speak to. You write the names of five other people

  501. that you can pray for. You cannot you cannot speak

  502. with them. Maybe that's your guy in the office and

  503. you feel that you cannot approach the person with the

  504. gospel message. What are you going to do? Deperson on

  505. the list of prayer and continue to pray for that person.

  506. Imagine each one of us That was the reason why

  507. in our Sunday school, I said we should pray for

  508. one Muslim. Imagine all of those souls that you have

  509. prayed for this morning tomorrow again you commit their lives

  510. into the ends of God, and every day of this

  511. week you keep praying for God. You are not You

  512. won't going physically to go and talk to them. No,

  513. but the only spirit is preparing because you are continually

  514. seeking the face of God concerning then it may not

  515. even appone in the year twenty twenty five, but God

  516. will continue to guide their lives because of your prayer,

  517. so that one day this person will surrender to Jesus Christ.

  518. We have responsibilities and there are so many ways that

  519. we can do that. So let me briefly talk about

  520. this and then we wrap it up here using modern

  521. tools social media and digital evangelism, radio and podcasts, acts

  522. of kindness. Let me just talk about social media tools.

  523. Then I will close many of us what we do

  524. with our WhatsApp. There's something I don't like. Don't bog

  525. my life with a devotional every day. I don't like it.

  526. I don't like it because I may not read it.

  527. The only thing I like is send me short prayer

  528. point and I'll say amen and then we go. That's

  529. why I send prayer short prayer points sometimes. All right,

  530. but there is there is the status y H on

  531. our worsapp. Just put on that status Jesus lost. You

  532. can you share your testimony in four lines, your salvation

  533. testimony in four lines and put it on that your

  534. status and leave it there. Thousands of people may see

  535. that status on that day and you will know where

  536. the only spirit is beginning to do something in the

  537. life of that person. How about our Facebook? Yes, Facebook

  538. is a social media platform, but you said nobody is

  539. going to what did you learn from Sunday's School? Can

  540. you share the same thing that you have learned in

  541. Sunday School on that platform and keep it there. Just

  542. recent me, there were so many things that I used

  543. to put on my Facebook wall back in the days,

  544. and recently I've not been doing it. And you know

  545. what Facebook we do. Facebook is now reminding me that

  546. you did this, and I said, ah, wow, this is powerful.

  547. So I will share it again. And it seems as

  548. if the thing is even ministering to me, so I

  549. will share it again. Is anybody coming to attack me?

  550. Am I going to see anybody face to face to

  551. say that that person. You may not be able to

  552. see the person at all, but that means we go round.

  553. Please church. There are so many. It is a lot

  554. easier for us today. It is a lot easier for

  555. us today. It is a lot easier for us today

  556. to do evangelism. The ones we can do. The church

  557. is planning. There was one I wanted to do and

  558. I'm still trusting God that will be able to do it.

  559. Last year we planned it, but it didn't work. I

  560. wanted to get a massive projector and put it here

  561. in front of the church and put and beam a

  562. big film in the evening when people will be working.

  563. You know they will stay abby, they wait and watch,

  564. and at the end of it, while they are doing that,

  565. the prayer team will be inside the church and the

  566. praying and be praying. Because there's something about evangelism. Prayer

  567. is very important. The prayer team will be inside the

  568. church and be praying. Why myself, the mm chairman, the

  569. wm U president, the youth president, we are going to

  570. be the face of the church. We are going to

  571. be there while others are watching. All the key officers,

  572. they can be dead the rest, be praying inside the church.

  573. People are watching, people are watching day. When they are done,

  574. we will gain the power and bring out the message

  575. of that movie they're watching. And we ask them the

  576. opportunity is there they can enjoy the peace the only

  577. Jesus can chieve. And we give them a call. We

  578. give them opportunity, and we have some of us that

  579. are going to stand by as counselors. We are going

  580. to hand them some materials. Can write down your name,

  581. write down your phone number, and will continue to pray

  582. for them. We can give them calls about their decision.

  583. And the Kingdom of God is enlarging. Twenty twenty five

  584. is our year of enlargement. We must enlarge in our

  585. area of evangelism. That God help us in the name

  586. of Jesus Christ. Can I give room for one or

  587. two questions? Praise the Lord.

  588. So you start by telling us that there are some

  589. places that if you go evangelizing, you might.

  590. Be sue to court for evangelizing. Is he here in

  591. Nigeria or abroad?

  592. So much?

  593. Not so much of it in Nigeria, but in some

  594. kind of way it does happen, But you're not sue too.

  595. Curt In Nigeria. It may not be in the open

  596. all right, but somehow something close to it is happening.

  597. Even in Nigeria. There are some places in Nigeria that

  598. you cannot confidently approach. Even here in Abuja, there's some

  599. places you cannot just enter with the ghospel message unless yeah,

  600. you're probably saying, this world is not my own. I

  601. am just passing. And then you'll be passing by as

  602. you're telling them about Jesus and you're just passing by,

  603. and then they will send they will send the cops out.

  604. I'll go and carry it and bury it.

  605. HM.

  606. But you're not key yourself because of this. There are

  607. other ways you can do it. I know. I can

  608. enter a place I was. I was going to pick

  609. the children at Sabury when they way attending school day.

  610. As I got inside the k somehow I just felt

  611. the leading of the spirit that the woman sitting by

  612. my side that should pray for her. And she received

  613. a call and from the conversation there's somebody that was

  614. sick in the hospital and that was just the business

  615. of my prayer point that God will open our eyes

  616. and touting the life of that person. Also healed the person.

  617. Of course I didn't get any any feedback whether the

  618. person was healed or anything happened to that person, But

  619. that's not my own I just felt that leading and

  620. I did, and I pray for the person, and when

  621. I got to my place, I went my will. The

  622. person went away. I'm sure that God will complete what

  623. he had started. That's just my own part. There are

  624. so many things about this this kingdom. Eh, go and

  625. make disciples. You you just go and make disciples. Finish.

  626. Whether the disciples come or not, it is not your

  627. problem because the work of conversion is not your own

  628. to do. There are places that you cannot just confidently enter.

  629. But mister patrick in that's your business, even if they

  630. will start. The biggest in man, we enter that your

  631. car and you put on that Bible that's yours. Only

  632. it doesn't have the right to stop you. Do you

  633. know that it doesn't have the right. You will just listen.

  634. You will be forced to listen. And that deputs it

  635. alone between where you have taken him and where you

  636. have dropped him. Leave it in the hand of the

  637. Holy Spirit. It will do the rest. And don't be

  638. surprised that the person may just mark your face, and

  639. one day it will see you again and ask you

  640. that thing that you were playing inside your car? Can

  641. you tell me more about it? Church? This is another

  642. easiest way that you can do it. Okay, So everybody

  643. wake up now, wake up, wake up, wake up. Let

  644. me tell you the simplest way that you can do it.

  645. Are you ready for it? And I wake up? Now?

  646. See it's the simplest way you can do it. If

  647. you cannot pray, it's for you to tell the person

  648. go church together. Just invite the person to come to church. Eh.

  649. Let the person just come to church. Finish you just

  650. pray Holy Spirit lead the pastor to speak to this

  651. my friend. That's all you need to do. The person

  652. will sit by your side and God will meet that person.

  653. Is it easy? Is it easy? Is it easy? Now? Eh?

  654. Use your WhatsApp, use your Facebook, eh, pray for the person,

  655. invite them to church. Which one of these folks is

  656. not easy for you? Eh? Hello, mister bannerbers? Which one

  657. of them is difficult? Okay? So let me see everybody now,

  658. only a few of us. I don't have your number,

  659. so I'm going to be waiting for I'm going to

  660. look be checking my waterapp status this week. So I'm

  661. going to be seeing what every member of Shilo Baptistia

  662. should be doing. That's the easiest one. Missus came up.

  663. Do I have your number? Okay? I think I have it?

  664. Do you have water? You don't have water? You don't

  665. go and get one? Because of gospel? Going start your

  666. WATERP and load it with data. And so I'm going

  667. to be watching uncle silay man. Are you on WATERP? Yeah?

  668. Not the WSPP. I'm not sure I have it.

  669. Now.

  670. I want us to make commitment today, mommy, So you're

  671. on waterppably a why ah? We're in twenty four centially

  672. if you're not WhatsApp? Why eh? No, you have to

  673. please get our water, sir, thank you very much. So

  674. he said he's going to get your water. So let's

  675. w I be rolling on your phone so I want

  676. to be checking it. So this week I'm going to

  677. be checking it. My Munaji, I don't have your phone number.

  678. Are you on water? You're on water? Okay? So you

  679. give me your phone number so that we know whether

  680. you have you have sent message to somebody, so it's

  681. on your status. I'm going to know my brother there.

  682. I don't have your number, eh, my brother, Yes, I

  683. know I don't have your numbers, so maybe you give

  684. me your numbers so that this week tell somebody about Jesus.

  685. Is it difficult on your water, bro? Is it difficult?

  686. It's not difficult. Now just tell somebody about Jesus. Jesus

  687. saves simple. I just put it like that. Even guys,

  688. we'll we said before before they say waiting, they is

  689. wrong with this, my brother, Now they'll go call you.

  690. Just say when you put on top of this day

  691. Jesus say you just tell them that thing. Just yan

  692. smallna like that. Just give them and the thing. Don't

  693. pass this thing where they want to ask you. This thing, boy,

  694. if you come our church on Sunday, you don't, you

  695. don't do and leave it. God will handle the rest. Amen. Amen, yes,

  696. come this way.

  697. God have to knew everybody. I want to say, my

  698. own friend understanding. It's not a question that I want

  699. to ask because this thing goeschool. You have to move

  700. anything that you want to do. Your movement, you're speaking

  701. anything that you want to do. Jose react like Jesus

  702. and everybody will see example in you. I can remember

  703. when I travel to Ugu, I want to come back

  704. to Abuja. I enter Peace Transport. So under the motto

  705. is food, the motto want to move and one woman

  706. come with nine one boy that is looking for somebody

  707. to handover to Abuja. When the woman can he look

  708. the face of everybody. He checked round around. You're not

  709. seeing my first examble Jesus. Yes, in not hannother day

  710. picking for me, he said, Bros, I beg take the child.

  711. I will give you the phone number when you reach

  712. Peace Transport. For Jabe called my sister. She's living in Marabah.

  713. She will come up on let's a child. And that

  714. is the way I did it.

  715. Yes.

  716. Another one is that from my area, thea in Gaga.

  717. See let me tell you. If you want to do

  718. gods pool anywhere in the world, you can enter and

  719. not to happen. I say it, yes, don't fear. When

  720. I see a house of people GUARDI wait, those bamba

  721. they are smooky, smooky and I say Alama legu. They

  722. say yes, Lama lecuo. I said, are you must I

  723. say yes. The Quran say you to you to smooth.

  724. He said no.

  725. I said, okay, you are going to the most and

  726. you are prayed to God for God to answer your prayer.

  727. Can you see that you are against the Quran? You

  728. couldn't say that. You should know smook and you are smook.

  729. Your prayer in the most well receive bye by God.

  730. We have only one God in the war. You say,

  731. it's true, He put this cigar for in Marty's from today.

  732. I will never smoke you today. That is the gospel

  733. and the way you are see the way you are

  734. approaching people.

  735. All right, thank you very much. I appreciate your sharing.

  736. That's very good. But I will stand against those news.

  737. It is not right the way you have done it.

  738. All right, somebody handing over a child to you from

  739. that place. You must be very sensitive. Please, it is wrong.

  740. It is wrong. Let's not say because I want to

  741. be like Jesus. Yes, be like Jesus. Eh, but don't

  742. do something that we land you in prison for the

  743. rest of your life, because that action. The Bible says

  744. we should be as wise as serpent and as gentle

  745. as you were gentle. But the other side, it is

  746. not complete. The subject of the other example you gave.

  747. Don't let me discuss city. But let me tell you

  748. the simple thing is there is only one God, but

  749. we don't save the same God. All right, Okay, So

  750. if you're presenting the gospel, present the gospel. Gospel is

  751. not what you are presented. Gospel is not in Quran.

  752. Gospel is in the Bible. So present the gospel as

  753. the Bible has said it. I know that the method

  754. you use is for you to gain their attention. It's

  755. for you to gain their favor. But when it comes

  756. to the message of the Cross, is not for you

  757. to gain anybody's favor. Go and speak the world of life.

  758. If you know you can speak it. They are going

  759. to be antagonistic. Withdraw, pray for them. If I ask you,

  760. can I pray for you? Say don't pray for me.

  761. Withdraw and say Father, please, and then you walk away.

  762. Let us use this thing that God has put inside.

  763. The Lord will help us in Jesus name. Chairman. Okay,

  764. so Chairman, my wife, then the secretary, and then we.

  765. Amen something you just said, no, share the purpose of life.

  766. So sometimes I do sit down and take about it.

  767. The word purpose of life. I've had it before. This

  768. purpose of life, what is remade? The purpose of life?

  769. Is it about just eat food and be left food?

  770. Then maybe well you after the left food, you went

  771. to bed, or just after that you carry about and

  772. come to church.

  773. Is that all about life? What is evil? What is

  774. purpose of life? It's safe, That's what I want to know.

  775. Thank you very much. In the simplest when we talk

  776. about the purpose of life, is the reason why you

  777. are in existence? And the reason why you are in

  778. existence is so that your life may glorify God. That

  779. is very simple? Is that?

  780. Not?

  781. That is very simple? But under that it's a world

  782. loaded with understanding of what purpose. If there is no purpose,

  783. you can't have a vision for your life. If there

  784. is no vision, there is no direction. And that is

  785. why some people, we decide, when they don't understand the

  786. purpose of their lives, the get frustrated one day and

  787. they pie themselves because they have no understanding of the

  788. purpose of their lives. I think because of that, let's

  789. reserve a teaching for that purpose. Okay, so that we

  790. can do more about it. My wife, where are you? Okay? Secretary?

  791. Come praise the Lord.

  792. Thank you for the teachers are probably possibly maybe you

  793. will still break it down for us in the sessions

  794. so that we understand this.

  795. Of these sessions better. Amen.

  796. My question is concerning this social media evangelism. There are

  797. sometimes that if you go on social media, you see

  798. people use some phrase in the Bible just to capture

  799. the pictures or just to make sure to describe the pictures.

  800. Like you see a lady dressing somehow half naked and

  801. snap that picture and post it and they say Jesus

  802. is Lord, and how can we now can we say

  803. those things looking at the image and they're looking at

  804. the inscriptions, those those kinds of things portray a message

  805. of salvation as that person is trying to complicate because

  806. it's making a lot of people. All those words they

  807. don't really have any meaning other than joge someone trying

  808. to speak again, how can we be able to balance

  809. that as Christians?

  810. Thank you very much. You see, the social media space

  811. is a free world. Anybody can do whatever they feel

  812. like doing. But the responsibility is on us as Christian

  813. to do what is right. The fact that somebody has

  814. done it wrongly. There are so many things that so

  815. many people are doing wrongly. When I said, because some

  816. people are doing certain things wrongly, and we don't do

  817. the right thing anymore, No, you do the right thing,

  818. You do the right thing, and it is not. You know,

  819. one thing you do is ask God only spirits. There's

  820. a message for the world today, and that's why I've

  821. always been encouraged. You us, let us read the Bible,

  822. let us have a devotion from that place. God is

  823. going to speak to us. And whatever God has spoken

  824. to you, that has touched you, throw it out there

  825. and let it bless in life. You don't know where

  826. it's going to get to. Forget about what other people

  827. it is because you and I are not doing it.

  828. If we start doing what is right, they will stop

  829. doing what is wrong. You don't need to capture it

  830. under anything. No, the message of Christ is the message

  831. of Christ. If you put it under any kind of guys,

  832. it is no longer the message of Christ. You can

  833. tell me Jesus lost you and then you put a

  834. new woman day. No. No, And that's exactly what the

  835. devil wants to do. And that's why we must arise

  836. and do what is better. May the Lord help us

  837. in Jesus name. Where's my wife? Okay? All right, so

  838. I think we will come to a close again. As

  839. we close now, we are going to pray one prayer

  840. point and the prayer point, I want you to pray

  841. just in one minute. Okay, let's make it too. Prayer

  842. points one prayer point. The first one is say Lord,

  843. give me the college this week. Give me the college

  844. this week. Don't be afraid. Don't be afraid. You can

  845. pray for somebody. Say Lord, give me the courage to

  846. take this step on gospel conversation this week. That is one.

  847. The second prayer point is there is somebody in your

  848. family lineage who is yet to connect with Jesus. Can

  849. you remember that person. You're going to pray for that

  850. person just one minute to them, praise the Lord.

  851. I'm sorry for I have to say to some of

  852. our children outside when we we we are shout to

  853. win them. They are out there and ready to win us.

  854. One they were just coming from example, and a lady

  855. stats beside me, so pretty, very very young, and you

  856. will say that this is full of life. Although and

  857. before she will open her back and she will take

  858. a drink, and did the order from that drink shows

  859. that it's not normal. Drink is like alcoholic. And at

  860. a point the oldest way was telling me that she

  861. preached to her. I'm like, oh God, give me grace

  862. and before two or three lines, she looked at me said,

  863. I don't know that's she are Christian and from Cooba

  864. to Area one, almost approaching Area one, am a beggar.

  865. She said, thank you, because I was almost winning you

  866. to my side or knowing to me that she's a lesbian,

  867. a woman, marrying woman, woman dating woman, woman loving woman,

  868. which is totally wrong. But by the time she narrated

  869. our story, you say that she's from a Christian whom

  870. the mother and father and leaders in the church. So

  871. when God is giving us the promptness to share our testimony,

  872. to preach to death, please don't don't let us fold

  873. our hands. Just ignore that we my not.

  874. They are not mindful, even to the point of meru

  875. that save us.

  876. What are in our house?

  877. Even the bikeman that we are going to pay so

  878. far we are going to give out our kindness. We

  879. are going to stretch our hands to them. We should

  880. do that given the driver. If you're going to pay

  881. their salary or give them something out of your own

  882. and reward or out of.

  883. Your own sweats, let us also preach the gospelt to them,

  884. the Lord Us and Jesus name.

  885. Thank you can we just spray. Can you ask the

  886. Lord to give you that grace this week? Lord, help

  887. me to take this step this week, Holy Spirit, help me.

  888. Who is that person that is in your family that

  889. is yet to surrender to Christ. Can you just talk

  890. to the Lord about that person and say, Lord, please

  891. reach to this person. Let the power of the Holy

  892. Spirit engage the heart of this person. In Jesus' mighty name,

  893. we pray
