  1. Lord, we thank you. Lord, will bless you for so

  2. much love you have for us. For the Bible says,

  3. for God so loved the world that he gave this

  4. one and only son, that also ever believe in him

  5. shall not perish, but have it an alive. Thank you

  6. Jesus for giving us this life. Thank you Jesus, because

  7. you said in your word those who have rejected you

  8. are condemned already, but for everyone who believe in You

  9. is saved. Holy Spirit, we are grateful. Thank you for

  10. these wonders that you have wrought in our lives. That Lord,

  11. our faith.

  12. In you is not in vain. Thank you, Gracious God.

  13. Lord, open our eyes again as we look at your

  14. word to understand the power of resurrection. Lord, we are grateful.

  15. Thank you, Holy Spirit. In Jesus Mighty name, we pray

  16. congratulations to every one of us, for as many who

  17. as surrender, who have surrendered their lives onto Jesus. I

  18. congratulate you today, because this is a day that every

  19. one of us must celebrate with great assurance that God,

  20. our Father, what he has promised to do through the

  21. coming of Jesus, has actually been done. May his name

  22. be praised forever and ever in the mighty name of

  23. Jesus Christ, this money charge. I want to speak on

  24. the power of his resurrection, the power of his resurrection,

  25. And I'm just going to take a single verse of

  26. the Bible, this money from the Book of Philippians, Philippians,

  27. chapter three.

  28. That's ten. There.

  29. The Bible says that I may know him and the

  30. power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his suffering

  31. being confirmed to his death. Apost Paul, after many years

  32. of working with Jesus, still expresses a deep longing for

  33. a personal, living experience of Christ.

  34. He says that I may know him.

  35. After writing books upon books, yet the man says again

  36. that I may know him. What a passionate reflection about

  37. the power of resurrection.

  38. He says.

  39. This is not just intellectual it's not about book knowledge, no,

  40. but every relational knowledge, because he has had an encounter,

  41. because he had had an experience and he felt within himself.

  42. Oh no, I have not known enough.

  43. And for as many.

  44. Who are engaged with reading the Bible every day, you

  45. will agree with me that for every time you go

  46. over the Bible, there's a new revelation that comes to

  47. your mind, and you ask yourself have I gone through

  48. this Bible passage before those who do already a Bible regularly.

  49. We do not understand that you can pick a particular

  50. verse of the Bible. Read it today, read it next Sunday,

  51. read it someday after, read it in the next. Just

  52. keep reading just one single verse. And as you meditate

  53. on that verse of the scripture, there is new revelation

  54. that God brings to your heart. And that's why Paul,

  55. in this text he says that I may know him.

  56. It is not about acknowledge read one hundred memory verses.

  57. It is not about that.

  58. It has gone beyond just reading and memorizing. It has

  59. gone to the point of application. He then mentions, and

  60. the power of his resurrection. This is point to something

  61. greater than physical resurrection.

  62. It is beyond that.

  63. When Jesus God to the house of Mary and Martha

  64. after four days that your brother had died, and Jesus

  65. told the sisters, you know, I am the resurrection of life.

  66. This your brother will rise again. As far as the

  67. sister was concerned, it's about the future resurrection. But Jesus

  68. is saying right here, resurrection will take place. Our resurrection

  69. took place. There is the resurrection. Now for everyone that

  70. as surrender is our life to Jesus as engaged with sin,

  71. but now a life in Christ. And that is what

  72. is demonstrated when we come to the place of baptism,

  73. and it said that I may know him and the

  74. power of his resurrection. Paul is talking about the spiritual

  75. power that raised Jesus from the dead, which is not

  76. available to every believer. For victory over sin, for fear,

  77. for victory over scein victory over fear, and victory over

  78. spiritual there. And that's why so many times when somebody

  79. says I am a Christian and the person is afreed,

  80. I said, there's something wrong without your faith. When someone

  81. says I am a Christian and the person is still

  82. living in sin, no, there's something wrong with that relationship.

  83. When someone says I am a Christian and the person says, ah,

  84. the devil is in me in the dream, then I

  85. tell you that there is something wrong with your relationship

  86. with Jesus. Because surely he took up our friend families,

  87. he carried our sorrow, yet we considered him stricken by God,

  88. smithing by him, and afflicted. But the Bible says that

  89. by it strives what happened. We are healed and on

  90. the cross. If you miss the Good Friday, that would

  91. not be too good. But on the good Friday we

  92. look at the seven words seven statements of Jesus on

  93. the cross before he gave up, and at the sixth

  94. he said, it is finished, finished, the work of salvation

  95. is done. That is why the Bible says, he's a

  96. man believes in Jesus. It is a new creature the Old.

  97. The Old is God, and everything has become new. But

  98. if the Old is still manifesting, then there is something

  99. wrong without relationship. I like to look at three things

  100. from that verse, and then I'll close. Number one knowing

  101. Christ and the power of his resurrection, what does it mean?

  102. The Bible says in the Book of Philippians, Chapter three,

  103. verse ten, that I may know Him and the power

  104. of his resurrection. This phrase shows us that resurrection power

  105. is not just about life after death. It is about

  106. daily victory. It is about new life in Christ. It

  107. is about spiritual strength. Resurrection is about daily victory. And

  108. that's why Jesus says, if anyone desires to come up

  109. to me, let him deny himself, take up his cross.

  110. Daily and follow me. So the power of resurrection is

  111. evident in our daily living, a victorious life, in the

  112. new life that we have embraced, and spiritual strength that

  113. we have Romance chapter six, four to five. The Bible says,

  114. therefore we were buried within through baptism into death. That

  115. just as Christ was raised from the dead by the

  116. glory of the Father, even so we also should walk

  117. in newness of life. For if we have been united

  118. together in the likeness of his death, certainly we also

  119. shall be in the likeness of His resurrection. And that's

  120. exactly what we display when we come to the moment

  121. of baptism. On Thursday. We were here in the church

  122. demonstrating that which Christ has done, obeying the commandment that

  123. Christ has instructed us. So when someone has surrendered himself

  124. onto God, it is expected that the pressing the baptized,

  125. and that process of baptism is that on the basis

  126. of your confession, you are dipped into the water baptism

  127. by immersion, and then you are lifted up out of it.

  128. You have resurrected with the Lord Jesus Christ. The power

  129. of resurrection Ephicients, Chapter one, nineteen to twenty the Bible says,

  130. and what is the exceeding greatness of its power toward

  131. us who believe according to the working of its mighty power,

  132. which he worked in Christ when he raised him from

  133. the dead and seated in at the right end in

  134. the heavenly places.

  135. Knowing Jesus Church.

  136. Knowing Jesus involves experiencing is power in our daily lives,

  137. power to forgive, power for transformation, power for renewer. That's

  138. what it means to know Jesus. Every thing completely in

  139. our lives showcase the essence of our faith in Jesus Christ.

  140. Number two in that text is that God's love and

  141. the victory of the resurrection. So the love of God

  142. and the victory of the resurrection in that ten Philippians

  143. th return, the Bible passage continues to say that, and

  144. the fellowship of his suffering being confirmed.

  145. To his death. So upon links the resurrection to the.

  146. Suffering and death of Christ, and is showing us that

  147. the power of God's love is seen or not only

  148. in the empty tomb, but also in the cross.

  149. So you can see the.

  150. Evidence of the power of God's love right there on

  151. the cross and in the empty tomb. And that is

  152. why today, as Christians, our faith is renewed when we

  153. come to realize our importance, this work, this love that

  154. God has for us. In John three sixteen, for God

  155. soul love the world, It gave its only Begott his son,

  156. that whoever believes in him should not perish, perish, but

  157. have ever as life Romans five eighty, the Bible said,

  158. but God demonstrates it's all love towards us in that

  159. why we were still sinners.

  160. What happened. Christ died for us.

  161. So it isn't that we did anything, but the power

  162. of God's love was made manifest right there on the cross,

  163. and even in the empty tomb.

  164. We can see the power of God shown.

  165. In First Corinthians, chapter fifteen, fifty five to fifty seven, the.

  166. Bible says, all death, where is your sting?

  167. Oh? Hey, this this, where is your victory? This thing

  168. of death is seen, and the strength of sin is

  169. the law. But thanks me to God who gives us

  170. the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. The resurrection is

  171. God's loudest message, he says.

  172. In that resurrection message, he says, I love you, and

  173. I won the battle for you.

  174. Arly Louis and that is the reason why Jesus on

  175. that cross he said it is finished.

  176. So as a believer you need not suffer.

  177. Any kind of oppression anymore, because the battle is one.

  178. The battle is one. The battle is one. Lastly, what

  179. should be our response to the power of resurrection? Our

  180. response should be that of faith, that of obedience and

  181. new living.

  182. In that same verse ten, it.

  183. Says being conformed to his death, being confirmed to his death.

  184. What does that mean? This means we should die to

  185. self and live for God.

  186. So if anyone desires to come after Jesus, let him

  187. deny himself, die to self, and alive for God.

  188. So resurrection power works in those.

  189. Who are willing to follow Jesus through death to self

  190. and rise within in holiness and purpose.

  191. That's what it takes. Colossians chapter three, Versus one and two.

  192. If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things

  193. which are above, where.

  194. Christ is sitting at the right end of God.

  195. Set your mind on things above, not on things on earth.

  196. In other words, when a man, when a woman, surrender

  197. to Jesus, your ultimate goal and thinking should be things above.

  198. What are the things that are preoccupying our minds? Are

  199. they evely things or the early things Matthew six thirty three.

  200. The Bible says, but sick first the Kingdom of God

  201. and the righteousness, and all these things shall be herded

  202. onto you, seeking first the.

  203. Kingdom of God. Romance, Chapter twelve, Verse one.

  204. I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the message of God,

  205. that you present your bodies a living sacrifice holy acceptable

  206. to God, which is your reasonable service.

  207. So, as a Christian who has experienced the.

  208. Resurrection, it is important that daily we die to serve.

  209. And will live for God.

  210. We live a life of faith. We live a life

  211. of our obedience. We live a life of new newness. Romance,

  212. Chapter eight, verse eleven. The Bible says, but if the

  213. spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells

  214. in you, he who raised Christ from the dead, we

  215. also give life to your motive bodies through his spirit

  216. who dwells in you. What is the point here? The

  217. point here is that we are called to live resurrected lives.

  218. And everyone that is living a resurrected life, you will

  219. see it displayed in their body. You will see it

  220. display in their way of life. You will see it

  221. display in their attitude to life, living a life of faith,

  222. living a life of obedience, and living a life.

  223. Of spiritual power.

  224. In this passage, passe outcry, let it become our home,

  225. that I may know Him, that I may know Him,

  226. that I may know the power of His resurrection, that

  227. I may may be part of the fellowship of His suffering,

  228. that I may be confirmed.

  229. To His death.

  230. That should be our life. This is what full Christian

  231. life is all about. Living a resurrected life, no longer

  232. in life that is under the oppression of sin, knowing Christ,

  233. intimately working in power, submitting daily in obedience and sacrifice

  234. to God. That is when our faith is made complete.

  235. I want to encourage each and every one of us today.

  236. This is a call to irresponsible living. It is a

  237. call to living for Christ, living for God. The Bible

  238. says in Romance chapter ten, verse nine, that if you

  239. confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in

  240. your heart that God has raised Him from the dead,

  241. you will be saved. So the question I have for

  242. each and every one of us today is this, do

  243. you know Jesus personally like Paul desired? Are you working

  244. in the power of His resurrection? Will you allow the

  245. only spirit to bring new life to your soul.

  246. Today, today.

  247. You can experience the power of His resurrection, not just

  248. as a doctrine, but as a living reality.

  249. Surrender to Christ.

  250. Receive the power to live a victorious life, to live

  251. a holy life, to live a purposeful life, to live

  252. a surrendered life, to live a resurrected life. There's a

  253. little writing at the back of our program. If you

  254. look at it, there's an invitation there, and its invitation

  255. towards many who are yet to surrender their lives to Jesus.

  256. Don't let this power of resurrection that we are talking

  257. about today be useless over your life.

  258. Dear brothers and sisters.

  259. Today we sell bread the greatest victory in history, the

  260. resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  261. He is no longer in the grave. He is alive.

  262. Death could not hold him, the grave could not stop him.

  263. He rose again.

  264. So that we can have eternal life and a new beginning.

  265. The Bible says in Romans six twenty three, for the

  266. wages of Saying is death, but the gift of God

  267. is eternal life in Christ, Jesus our Lord. Because Jesus

  268. is reason, you don't have to remain in saying, you

  269. don't have to remain in guilt.

  270. You don't have to remain in fear.

  271. He paid the price for your sins on the cross

  272. and rose again to give you a new life, in

  273. life of peace, in life of purpose, in life of hope.

  274. This is the Sunday. The reason Savior is calling you.

  275. He is ready to forgive your sins and make you

  276. a child of God. All he asks this morning is

  277. that you believe in him, turn away from your sin,

  278. and invite Him into your heart. The Bible says in

  279. Romans chapter ten, verse nine, if you declare with your

  280. mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that

  281. God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Please,

  282. you can speak with me immediately after the service if

  283. you are considering dropping that old life tire for the

  284. new one. Trade your sorrow for the power of resurrection.

  285. Trade your pain for the power of resurrection, Trade your

  286. poverty for the power of resurrection. Trade your past for

  287. the power of resurrection. Jesus is calling on you today.

  288. The power of resurrection becomes useless to you because the

  289. message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing.

  290. Are you among those who are perishing. If you're among

  291. those who are perishing, the opportunities yeah for you to

  292. remove yourself from those who are perishing and begin to

  293. see the reality of what God has done for you.

  294. Shall we pray together? What is your life like? Are

  295. you experiencing the power of resurrection? Are you working in

  296. the power of resurrection? If you're not doing this, it

  297. simply means you are year to surrender your.

  298. Life to Jesus.

  299. And because of that, you cannot be victorious over flesh overseein.

  300. You cannot live a holy life. You cannot live a

  301. purposeful life. But if you must live a victorious life,

  302. if you must live a holy life, if you must

  303. live a life of purpose, then it is time to

  304. surrender yourself onto Christ so that you may experience the

  305. power of resurrection. Is anyone in the house this morning

  306. wanting to take this step? Jesus is keeping you near

  307. the cross. Is anyone he who is willing to receive

  308. this new life? Jesus says, come onto me. Oh ye

  309. that labor and a heavy leading, and I will give

  310. you rest. Cast your burdens upon the Lord, and it

  311. will save you. Jesus made the seed of your word

  312. that has been sown this morning makes significant impact in

  313. the life of your people. Let ye be an experience

  314. of the power of resurrection in the life of your people.

  315. Thank you, because this seed that has been sown will

  316. germinate and be a much fruit, and this word will

  317. not be against us on the day of judgment. Thank you,

  318. Vicious King of Glory. In Jesus mighty name, we pray Amen.
