Mother's Wings

Let's pray Father, God. We don't get anywhere in life without God.

You, but Father, most of us would know God without mother's wings.

We don't learn to fly unless we're with Mom. Something about that, Father,

There is a mother in this universe, a civilization that worked with you

to give us this world, and Father were part of that. As the

Church, help us to consider it today that we can't live as loners.

We can't do our own thing. We need the Mother, the heavenly Jerusalem,

and we need you as our Father in Jesus name. Amen. Robin

Fogel once wrote this poem as a tribute for godly mothers. Like a butterfly

emerges and unfolds its graceful wings, a child grows and develops with the love

a mother brings. I'm thankful for the times when you encourage me to try,

for God gave me my wings. But Mom, you've taught me how

to fly on egos wings in life and holy scripture. You cannot underestimate the

value of a godly mother who is surrendered to Jesus Christ and the Word of

God. Do you hear me? It is so important in the Church,

so important in our families, and we are living in a culture that is

assaulting the role of mothers and fathers. But mothers locked inside the fifth Commandment,

which is the Tarah Commandment number five means the word of God. The

word of God commandment, the one that helps us to instill the values of

God's word is the fifth Commandments. His honor your father and your mother,

for your days will be long upon the earth. We need mom to fulfill

the fullness of that commandment. In Holy scripture, God is our father,

but the Bible teaches the heavenly Jerusalem is our mother. Let may come as

a surprise. Turned to the Galatians four twenty six, Paul writes, but

Jerusalem above is free and she is our mother. Now that sets the context

for the identity of the woman. Revelation twelve one quickly moved their Revelation twelve

one, a great sign appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun,

the moon under her feet, and order her head a crown of twelve

stars. She was pregnant, was crying out in birth pains and the agony

of giving birth, and John sees here in prophetic vision the heavenly Jerusalem just

before Jesus was born he sees this preexistent civilization pregnant with Christ, to give

us the son of God, to give up the commander of the host,

to save our dying world. John three, sixteen Year of the Verse.

For God's love of the world, that he did what that he gave his

only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have

everlasting life. But the Bible also teaches there was a pre existent civilis that

is our heavenly Mother, the Jerusalem above, and that civilization, in pain

of anguish, gave us Jesus also in a sense of the heavenly Jerusalem was

in this horrible death, throw hard labor, to give up Christ to save

us Desire of Ages, page thirty eight. Sin had become a science,

vice was consecrated as a part of religion. Rebellion had struck its roots deep

into the heart, and the hostility of man was most violent against Heaven.

It was demonstrated before the universe at the time Christ was born that apart from

God, humanity could not be uplifted. Now I'm going to tell you right

now, you just cut on the television set. You look at this crazy

attack on our children, in our school systems in this country. The insane

philosopher kings who would transformed the roles in the family. And we are living

in a time when it is just as bad as it was back then.

And so Jesus is coming again, just like he came before. The world

is in a similar mess. And she goes on to write a new element

of life and power must be imparted by him who made the world. And

then, with intense interest, the unfallen worlds had watched to see Jehovah arise

and sweep away the inhabitants of the earth. And if God should do this,

Satan was ready to carry out his plan for securing to himself the allegiance

of heavenly beings. And when the crises seemed to crack, Christ came to

save the world. The heavenly Jerusalem also gave us Jesus. John saw the

Heavenly Jerusalem pain like a woman in labor, suffering to give us the Messiah,

suffering to give us the commander of the Lord's army. God gave Jesus,

and so did the Heavenly Jerusalem our mother. And in that nurture for

centuries, angels came from that preexistent civilization to work with God to keep this

planet from just self destructing until Christ came to get it done for us of

the Cross, and by living a perfect life, the whole universe was interactive

with us. The dragon dragged down in Revelation twelve a third of the angel

stars out of having in Satan. That old dragon stood ready to destroy Jesus

Christ when he was born. He was the first drag king, not drag

queen. Now we live at a time I can't believe it that they'll drag

certain things in front of our children, our school system to try to get

them to transition to some kind of behavioral pattern that will destroy their ability to

be good moms and dads in the future. Friends, we are living in

a time of moral crises in the world, and the church has to be

the opposite of that. There must be in the church a bullwork against the

kind of craziness that we have seen last two years in this country. So

he was the first drag king, not drag queen. He wasn't able to

destroy Jesus when Christ was born, Harod tried to kill him as a baby.

The Jewish leaders worked hard with Rome to have him crucified. But after

his crucifixion, at his ascension, Christ was caught up to God's throne in

Revelation twelve, and Satan couldn't get him anymore. So what happened in Revelation

twelve and Jesus died, The Christian Church became an extension of the heavenly Jerusalem.

The whole universe took a vote in Revelation twelve ten to eleven, and

they confessed that because of the Cross, that the authority and the kingdom of

our God and of his Christ has come. And they called us with a

single voice, our brethren. The Church became one with the heavenly Jerusalem.

So what did the dragon do? He went after the woman in the person

of the Church. He persecuted the heavenly woman, which had the Church's extension

on earth Revelation twelve, thirteen and fourteen. And when the dragon saw that

he'd been thrown to the earth. That's what happened. When Christ died in

the cross, he was given no more access to heaven, no more to

stand like he did with Job and the counsels of God and to accuse.

So he pursued the woman who had given birth of the male child verse fourteen.

But the woman was given the two wings or the great eagle, so

that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness to the place where she

is to be nourished for a time and times and half a time. In

Revelation twelve six that time has also called twelve hundred and sixty days, representing

twelve hundred and sixty years when the Christian Church went into the wilderness after the

ascension of Christ. So the woman Revelation twelve is the mother that is the

heavenly Jerusalem, because when you persecute the Church on earth, you are really

persecuting the heavenly Jerusalem that gave us Jesus. The Bible says in verse fourteen

that the woman was given the two wings or the great Eagle, that she

might fly into the wilderness to be fed by God's holy word, the heavenly

manner that would keep the church alive in the Middle Ages. Now, these

two wings given to the Holy Woman are mother's wings by definition, because if

they belong to her, their mother's wings. So let's look at them.

What does it mean to have eagles wings mother's wings? Revelation twelve fourteen is

a direct illusion from Deuteronomy thirty two, verse eleven. Open up your bibles

if you have them turned there with me. Let's look at verse ten.

First, God, he found them in the desert, that's the children of

Israel, when they came out of Egypt and the howling waste of the wilderness.

He encircled him, He cared for him, He kept him as the

apple of his eye. And like an eagle that stirs up its nest,

that flutters over its young, spreading out its wings, catching them, burying

them on its opinions, the Lord alone guided him. No foreign God was

with him. The eagles wings belong to God. So what are Mother's wings?

They are God's wings given to the Mother. That is an extension of

the love and character of God, as Pastor Nick so Well brought out here

today, transmitted to the Mother, which is the heavenly Jerusalem. By extension

God's people. The eagles wings belong to God. Let's think about it.

That means God finds us in the wilderness of life with eagles wings. If

you're lost, your mother finds you. All right, all right. God

encircles us like an eagle, but not to kill us. He carries us

when we can't carry ourselves on eagles wings. He cares for us when no

one cares at all. It seems he has eagles wings. He keeps us

as the apple of his eye. The text says, because an eagle's eye

is the best of eyes to see in guide and find you when you're lost.

The eagle covers it's young with its eagles wings to protect them. When

the little chicks fall from the nest, the mother's eagle's eye, the mother's

eagles wings, catches them and bears them back to the nest. They don't

die. They're lifted up on eagles wings. So God covers us with eagles

wings. We need protection. He covers us with a righteousness that's good enough

for the judgment day, and they will protect us from the final fires of

destruction, a divine covering. He lists us up when we fall and fail

in life. And he does this because we belong to Him as his children.

Mother's wings are God's wings because they do all these good things for us,

and God is in a godly mother. We need our mother's wings to

live. God gives our mother's wings us nineteen three. Quickly tournament your Bible

with me. While Moses went up to God, the Lord called to him

out of the mountain, saying, thus you shall say to the house of

Jacob, and tell the people of Israel, this is after the exodus.

You yourself have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore

you on eagles wings and brought you to myself. Now, therefore, if

you will indeed obey my voice keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured

possession among all people's, for all the earth is mine, and you shall

be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. These are the

words that you shall speak to the people of Israel. Friend, we are

living at a time when the whole world is crazy, and most of the

Church is disobedient and crazy along with the world. Did you hear me?

We're living at time and Christianity is just as compromised as the ancient Jewish nation

was compromised before the first coming to Christ. The book Revelation teaches that will

in fact be the case. At the end, we should not have blinders

on to think it is not so, and that is when the Fourth Angel

Revelation eighteen will sound to give strength to the Third Angel's message. It'll be

the last call of mercy this planet, and God will say, come out

of her meaning a fallen church system, and partake not of her plegues.

The plagues are coming at the end of time because Christians have not stood up

to do the right thing with the word of God, to proclaim the truth.

A compromise. Christianity cannot fulfill its prophetic destiny. We cannot afford to

be a disobedient church, aligning ourselves with the world in thought, mind and

practice, and worldly churches that go along with it. Every chance we get,

friends, we must hold together based on the Word of God and the

prophetic mandate we have been given in the word of God. And I'm gonna

tell you from my experience, the testimony of Jesus that we have been given

as a people brings us back to the Bible, and we are strengthened by

these things. Our future is not being like other churches, but in being

different. Now let me apply to the family. Our family health is not

pattering itself after what they do here, there and everywhere else, but a

boy pattering our families after the word of God. So God says, if

you obey, if you hold my covenant. You're going to be my special

possession in all the earth. We are either faithful to Jesus Christ and is

law by faith and humility, because none of us are great people. We

need the Lord obedient life and practice, or we are holy enemies of the

cross, agents of the enemy, and we live not knowing it, for

the destruction of others. So a surrendered life is the key to a transform

life. There is no middle ground. Ancient Israel chose compromise, rebellion,

improvisation. They transformed Yahweism, the divine revelation that was given them a Sinai,

into bail eclectic kind of echumenicism. That's what it was in their day.

And when they did it, they rejected God's word and everything fell apart.

Look at Luke thirteen thirty four and thirty five. Jesus interacts with us,

Oh Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those

who are sent to you. How often would I have gathered your children as

a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not behold Your

house is forsaken. And I tell you you will not see me until you

say blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Friend,

God has granted to us a beautiful church building here has he not an amazing

piece of property. It should never happened. We are here at reaching hearts,

and this wonderful future is only possible if we remained faithful in the covenant

to God. He changed. Now think about this. He changed the interpretation

of the law of the United States to build this place. He did.

The entire law of the land was altered so God could give us our church.

And that ten years struggle. He enriched us from the coffers of our

adversaries, who burned our facility ground where this cross once stood, and who

threatened us in those early days, so that we could have our church.

And He protected us with his eagles wings, and he carried us just like

he carried ancient Israel of old. Our church was fed in the wilderness,

and every challenge and every need was met with Mother's wings. God sent angels

to this church. God protected us on a supernatural scale. Friend, we

are standing at a crossroads of a future yet unwritten. We can choose to

be disobedient, compromising a worldly just like many churches around us, saying oh

I wish I could be like them, or we can choose to be faithful

in humility, keep God's commandments, treasure the distinctiveness that has made us a

people for the good of others, and let God worry about how it looks.

And preach the message for this time, no matter how unpopular it is

right now. But preach it in love and be a place of love for

people. God told Israel that he brought them out on eagles wings as he

brought them to himself. As long as they would keep his commandments in covenant,

they would be his prized possession of all the peoples of the earth segula

and hebre It's a Persian loan word. His precious treasure means his storehouse treasure,

that which he keeps for himself. But a last Israel rejected God's law,

and so doing is or rejected Jesus. You can't you know this idea

that you can have Jesus without his commandments. It's nonsense. Christ is his

law, and when you keep the law, you pull Jesus to your heart

by faith. That's our relation. Fourteen twelve says here are those who keep

the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus. You can't pull them

apart. Bad theology, and a person tries. I appeal to the mothers

of the church today, and some fathers also. Okay, hear me.

Raise your children to be obedient to God's word. Are you with me?

Raise your hand? Raise your children that way. Raise your children of love

and honor the Church and Jesus and its relationships. Teach them respect in the

Church by your own example. Are you with me? Okay? Raise them

to have a living faith in Jesus Christ, by you having a living faith

in Jesus Christ. Slap those wings, come on, angels, wings,

Raise your hand high with me. I can't do that. I'm not a

mother. Okay, father is going to do it too. I guess.

Keep the garbage of the world out of your home, off your television.

If you can't control, get rid of the thing. May your home be

a place where angels come, where the Bible and those good Bible story books

that we need to buy more of the Bible story books that are the Bible

story you know, not just the children's stories. Arthur Maxwell had a bunch

of them. We should just buy a lot of them around here. Make

sure every family has them, So mothers have material to work with. And

if you have to throw the TV out, we did. We just purchased

another one, but we're using it for internet purposes and then we don't use

it at all. It's still in the box. I may return to the

thing. Actually, get rid of those mind destroying computer games. You hear

me. You want to lower your child's IQ, just have them on that

thing all day long. Their ability to math concentration communications diminished. Why do

you want that in your home? Young people? I'm talking to you directly.

Now. You're called to a higher standard than that. We're called to

be people who can eimulate the word of God learned through public speaking. I'm

committed to letting young people learn to be public speakers. Here. Is that

worth the risk? It's worth the risk. Well, we can't have things

that get in the way of that, and so never look back. Don't

say well, I had to give it up for the better good ahead of

you. And if you have to race that music on that those cell phones,

that's not from God. Now. My father in law was a mensionary

in Africa and he had a witch doctor that met with him one day and

told him there's no difference between the Christian rock music we have today and what

they use in Africa. It's the same material and that this kind of interactive

beat that's going to syncopation. There is something that the spirits recognized quite nicely,

and that was a shocker to me. And so we should be very

careful what we choose from music in our home. Don't think just because your

generation likes it, everything into your generation is good, and that for the

older generations too. I mean, there's music that's been done that's so high

falutin and complicated should never end up in the church. Don't think just because

it's classical it's good. We need the mind of Christ. We need to

know what Jesus wants in our lives. And I have found generally speaking that

if your focus is on music and subjective experience, you have veered from your

walk with God. The Word of God is the basis of our growth.

So use those eagles wings, mom, and God gave you to save your

children before it's too late, lift them up when they fall, protect them

from Satan when they are attacked. Don't let the crazies out there get your

kids. I assure you this morning, based on the authority of the Word

of God. I didn't invent this message that Jesus isn't coming for unholy families,

on holy children, on holy mothers and fathers, or on holy churches,

or preachers and pastors. Christ is coming for a church without spot or

wrinkle, that is built on the Mother's wings, that propels us into God's

grace to do the right thing. Friend, Jesus is coming for God's obedient

children who are not legalists, who love Him, who keep the commandments of

God and have the faith of Jesus. Eric Little, you have the story

of Eric Little, great runner in nineteen twenty three, I believe, who

won the four hundred meter race. He was the world's top choice for the

hundred meters, but because he would not run on the Sabbath, which he

thought was Sunday, he refused to participate in those races that race, and

so he looked like he was disqualify from the Olympics. But somehow they put

him on the four hundred meter and this was a race that Eric Little was

not trained for. It was not his choice. Now, something was different

about Eric Little. Eric Little years before, just a few years before.

It was in a race it was the quarter of a mile run. He

had tripped up and he fell to the side, and suddenly he realized that

the yards ahead was the head. But something in this young preacher, this

young serve of the Word, trained in the Calvinist commitment to the Word of

God, he started running with something larger than life. You see, God

made him to live, and God made him fast, and God made him

to fly to the glory of God. And Eric little was noted for how

he ran. It wrote all the laws of aerodynamics. He would take his

hands with joy to his creator, with a smile in his face, breathing

deep as he ran. And he ran forward, and he surpassed them from

the back of the pack, and that is considered one of the greatest runs

in human history. How did it happen? On eagles wings and friend?

At the Olympics, when he was barred by conscience from ranking the Sabbath as

he understood it, he was in the four tometer race, and there he

ran, and there he ran, and when he ran, his arms were

out like eagles wings, his face facing with joy, the son of God,

and he crossed the finish line to win. But most people don't know

the story of Eric Little that ended his life World War Two nineteen forty five.

He died at the age of forty three without his wife and children two

daughters. Her station as a missionary in China the Japanese took over. There

was a prisoner of war camp. He was placing that prisoner of war camp.

And the same Eric Little who refused to run on the Sabbath, saw

those precious children dying from lack of activity, and so on Sunday he refereed

for them so they could get that activity. He was not a legalist,

he realized they needed it. Eric Little developed a brain tumor and he died

in nineteen forty three. As a young man who was a he is noted

for being a quiet, gentle, christlike pastor who loved his people more than

life and love them more than anything. And he learned to do all this

because he had a godly mother who taught him to fly on eagles wings.

Friend, Jesus is coming again on eagles wings to save us with our mother's

wings all over again. The heavenly jerusalell be emptied so we can come to

the marriage. Suffer of the land. Children, Let your mother and your

godly Father, your godly mother and father, do the right thing in your

life. Do not resist their authority over you, respect them and honor them,

and be ready together when Jesus comes to go home on Mother's wings,

on eagles wings. Thank you. I would just like to at this time

pray Lord that you will lift up every heart here, in every mind.

And Father, I ask you that there's some here who are saying, Lord,

I'm not fully surrendered to you. If you're that person you want to

say, Lord today, please, I don't want to be a holdout,

to have some attitude or some wilfulness in me that would say not know to

your word, so that I cannot be ready, my family cannot be ready.

Father. Today I choose to raise my hand and dedicate my life to

Jesus today in my need, in my weakness. If there's anyone who would

do the same, let them raise their hands as well. Now, Father,

you see those hands going up, you see every heart here. Bless

your people. Bless the food. I'm praying a blessing over the fellowship and

the fellowship hall that follows. Lord, Bless the food, Bless our time

together. Help us to be loving, kind people ever busy about the business

of God to help others, and obedient in Jesus name Amen,
