  1. A few years ago I was showing a friend around London and we were walking down by Green Park and then across the front of Buckingham Palace and just to the side of the railings, the gates opened and a car drove out with the Queen sitting in the back seat on her own.

  2. And there was a sense in which it was just a very ordinary thing. It was as if her driver was just taking her down to the shop to get some milk. There weren't any outriders or anything else. There was one motorcycle that had sort of gone to clear a bit in front of her but it seemed very ordinary just popping out.

  3. But of course there was also something extraordinary about it because as the car emerged and as people realized who was actually sitting in the back, there was a huge fuss. People grabbing their phones wanting to get a photograph and people sort of standing up straight in the presence of Majesty. I think I even waved. I didn't know what to do.

  4. I've just seen the Queen. She was, I don't know, literally 10 feet away. The car was just so close and people had this, there was something about the grandeur of royalty that drew out this response.

  5. Nobody had told anybody how to react. Nobody had said you stand up straight, you acknowledge her presence as she comes past, you celebrate, you do whatever it is.

  6. Nobody had said you stand up straight, you do whatever it is. Nobody had said that there was just something within all of us. There was probably over 50 people gathered there who reacted instinctively.

  7. There was something of the grandeur of who was there that drew this response.

  8. That's what we see on this first Palm Sunday. In Luke's account, in Luke chapter 19, which is a more mere account than the other Gospels, we see this.

    Luke 19 chapter mention

  9. Jesus is declared to be God's King. Look at verse 38.

  10. As he comes down the hill, instinctively people cry out and cheer.

  11. Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord.

  12. The presence of this one in their midst draws this response from them.

  13. The triumphal entry is something that the church marks on Palm Sunday, so we're going to do that this morning.

  14. I want us to walk through Luke's account here.

  15. As I say, it's a bit briefer than perhaps Matthew's account, but it is telling us about the King, about God's King who has come.

  16. It is drawing out, particularly I want us to see three elements of this story.

  17. The first is his control.

  18. The first thing we see about God's King in this account is his control.

  19. Verse 29.

  20. When he drew near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount that is called Olivet, he sent two of the disciples, saying,

  21. Go into the village in front of you, where on entering you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever yet sat.

  22. Untie it and bring it here.

  23. If anyone asks you, why are you untying it?

  24. You shall say this, the Lord has need of it.

  25. So those who were sent went away and found it just as he had told them.

  26. And as they were untying the colt, its owner said to them, why are you untying the colt?

  27. And they said, the Lord has need of it.

  28. And they brought it to Jesus.

  29. If you think about Jesus' posture in the Gospels, it's actually quite unusual for him to express a need in this way.

  30. I can't think of another time that he says, go and get that because I need it.

  31. But he does it here because he is orchestrating these events.

  32. And in order to do that, he needs the colt.

  33. The colt that Matthew tells us is the foal of a donkey.

  34. Now to start with, as we go through here, we see Jesus' control in the unfolding of the details of the day.

  35. You see that.

  36. He says, go into the village.

  37. That village in front of you.

  38. Just pass the welcome to Bethphage sign, you'll find a colt tied there to a railing.

  39. It's a young colt.

  40. Untie it and bring it to me.

  41. Oh, and if anyone asks you what they're doing, just tell them the Lord has need of it.

  42. Off the disciples go.

  43. And everything that he said will happen, happens.

  44. The colt was there.

  45. The people asked the question.

  46. The disciples had been told that they would.

  47. They answer it as they should.

  48. And the colt is now standing beside Jesus.

  49. Now the colt belongs to Jesus by virtue of the fact that he created it.

  50. Colossians 1 tells us, by him all things were created in heaven and on earth.

  51. That's true of the colt.

  52. It's also true of the disciples.

  53. And it's true of the owners of the colt as well.

  54. So there's a sense in which there's nothing untoward about any of this.

  55. Everything is as it should be.

  56. The Lord of heaven and earth, who owns it all by the fact that he created it, demands that his property comes to him.

  57. And so it does.

  58. But Luke is giving us these details to show us that all that is happening is under the hand of the king of kings.

  59. And therefore all that will unfold in the coming days is also under the control of that same king.

  60. No surprises.

  61. No surprises.

  62. No mistakes.

  63. No accidents.

  64. No accidents.

  65. How much does Jesus' control of everything factor in your life?

  66. Whether it is the colt tied up in Bethphage or the traffic on your route to wherever you're wanting to go in a hurry or the unexpected diagnosis.

  67. Do you see that Jesus is in complete control?

  68. The Lord of glory ordains every detail of the unfolding of your life.

  69. The good, the bad, and even also the ugly.

  70. He orders your steps.

  71. He provides what you have.

  72. He allows your bad decisions to play out.

  73. You are where you are in life because Jesus is in control.

  74. Do you acknowledge this?

  75. Do you acknowledge that your life is not just some unfolding story that has no real direction?

  76. Or that in some way you are in control in the details of everything?

  77. The Lord Jesus is in control of it all.

  78. Now acknowledging that means that we will thank Him for the blessings.

  79. Because they're not ultimately our doing.

  80. It will mean you will trust Him for your struggles.

  81. Because they are serving a purpose that you can't yet see.

  82. And it will mean allowing His Word as your authority to shape your goals and your vision for life.

  83. If Jesus is in control of everything, as He makes clear here,

  84. you should submit your life to serve His glory, not your glory.

  85. And we should repent of the desire to do otherwise.

  86. Now one way this is seen is how we think about what we have.

  87. The things that we possess.

  88. When Jesus asks for something from you,

  89. whether that is your time,

  90. or your money,

  91. or your children,

  92. or even your worship.

  93. As He demands that we gather

  94. Lord's Day by Lord's Day to worship Him,

  95. He makes that call on us.

  96. As He does that,

  97. do you respond like the owners of this cult?

  98. The Lord has need of it.

  99. The Lord requires it.

  100. The Lord has asked for it.

  101. He demands it of you.

  102. However you hear those words here.

  103. Do you see that the owners give up their cult?

  104. There's no record of them saying,

  105. hang on a second.

  106. They gave up their cult immediately.

  107. They didn't grumble.

  108. They didn't say,

  109. but this cult is my favorite one.

  110. This cult is mine.

  111. This cult is...

  112. I've got a special bond with it.

  113. No, they gave it up to their Lord and King.

  114. They lived with open hands.

  115. Everything that you possess,

  116. your time, your money,

  117. your children,

  118. your stuff, whatever,

  119. whatever you would fit into that,

  120. your dot, dot, dot,

  121. whatever it is,

  122. He owns it anyway.

  123. Those things are all just on loan to you from Him,

  124. so hold them loosely.

  125. Well, to start with,

  126. Jesus controls the events of the day,

  127. but the control reaches further,

  128. and it reaches higher.

  129. The very reason that He chooses this cult

  130. as His transport into Jerusalem

  131. is because in doing so,

  132. He is bringing to fulfillment

  133. an Old Testament prophecy.

  134. Back in Zechariah chapter 9,

    Zechariah 9 chapter mention

  135. it says this,

  136. Rejoice greatly,

  137. O daughter of Zion.

  138. Shout aloud,

  139. O daughter of Jerusalem.

  140. Behold,

  141. your King is coming to you,

  142. righteous,

  143. and having salvation is He,

  144. humble,

  145. and mounted on a donkey.

  146. A cult,

  147. the foal of a donkey.

  148. The cult

  149. is His chosen means of transport

  150. because it is the sign

  151. that He is

  152. this Messiah King.

  153. That was what the Old Testament

  154. said to look for.

  155. Look for one who comes on a cult.

  156. And what that tells us

  157. is that the unfolding,

  158. it's not just the unfolding

  159. of the events of that day,

  160. it is the unfolding of history,

  161. and particularly salvation history,

  162. that are also in the hands of Jesus.

  163. The one on the cult

  164. is the Lord of all.

  165. The Lord of all.

  166. He is the Lord of the very highest.

  167. He is the Lord of the Queen

  168. who drove out in the car that day.

  169. He is the Lord of the King

  170. who sits on our throne today.

  171. He is the Lord of our government.

  172. He is the Lord of every one of us

  173. and every possible echelon

  174. that there is in society.

  175. Every politician.

  176. Every sportsman.

  177. What have we got today?

  178. The masters.

  179. We've got every golfer at the masters

  180. and every one of his caddies.

  181. We've got the boat race.

  182. We've got every Cambridge

  183. and every Oxford Blue

  184. all under the control

  185. and authority of this King.

  186. He is the Lord of all.

  187. There is great reassurance in that.

  188. When we hear of authority like that,

  189. it can make us fearful,

  190. but there is great reassurance

  191. for us in this.

  192. When you trust yourself to this man,

  193. you are in the hands of the one

  194. who runs the universe

  195. and who is on your side.

  196. But there's also something important

  197. about his using a colt

  198. and that's our second point here

  199. as Luke shows us.

  200. First of all,

  201. he shows us his control.

  202. Secondly,

  203. he shows us his humility.

  204. His humility.

  205. Verse 33,

  206. And as they were untying the colt,

  207. its owner said to them,

  208. Why are you untying the colt?

  209. And they said,

  210. The Lord has need of it.

  211. And they brought it to Jesus

  212. and throwing their cloaks on the colt,

  213. they set Jesus on it

  214. and as he rode along,

  215. they spread their cloaks on the road.

  216. By choosing to ride into Jerusalem

  217. on a colt,

  218. Jesus isn't just fulfilling

  219. the ancient prophecy of Zechariah 9,

  220. but he's making a statement

  221. about the nature of the kingship

  222. of the one who is the king

  223. of Zechariah 9.

  224. Now ordinarily,

  225. a king would come,

  226. we know,

  227. with pomp and grandeur

  228. and all of the pageantry

  229. that we saw

  230. at the coronation of King Charles.

  231. Roads are closed,

  232. horses and carriages

  233. are prepared

  234. with trained professionals in charge.

  235. There are robes

  236. and crowns

  237. and scepters

  238. and dozens of people

  239. playing their part

  240. in a huge spectacle.

  241. There's none of that

  242. with King Jesus.

  243. The colt was the sign,

  244. the prop,

  245. if you like,

  246. of the humble character

  247. of the rule of God's Messiah.

  248. And he rides in,

  249. seated not on a royal saddle,

  250. but on the coats

  251. of some of his friends.

  252. When you come to Jesus,

  253. this is the character

  254. of the king that you worship.

  255. The Lord of glory,

  256. the one who is in control of all,

  257. the Son of God

  258. from all eternity,

  259. who entered this world

  260. through the womb of a virgin,

  261. enters the royal city

  262. seated on the coats

  263. of his friends

  264. on the back of a donkey.

  265. Jesus is a different kind

  266. of king.

  267. And so,

  268. his rule

  269. is a different kind

  270. of kingship.

  271. One that is marked

  272. by meekness

  273. and humility

  274. rather than military might.

  275. One where,

  276. when he is opposed,

  277. he responds

  278. by doing what?

  279. By laying down

  280. his life.

  281. And Jesus comes

  282. to each of us

  283. with that same humility.

  284. He doesn't bulldoze

  285. his way into our lives.

  286. But he gives us

  287. an invitation.

  288. Matthew chapter 11,

    Matthew 11:28

  289. verse 28.

  290. Come to me,

  291. all who labor

  292. and are heavy laden,

  293. and I will give you rest.

  294. Take my yoke upon you

  295. and learn from me

  296. for I am gentle

  297. and lowly in heart

  298. and you will find rest

  299. for your souls.

  300. For my yoke is easy

  301. and my burden

  302. is light.

  303. Have you taken him up

  304. on that offer?

  305. Have you received

  306. that invitation

  307. for yourself?

  308. In a day

  309. when people in power

  310. seem to have

  311. little regard

  312. for the regular man

  313. on the street.

  314. Our current government

  315. just keeps reaching

  316. further and further

  317. into the lives

  318. of its citizens,

  319. taking and taking

  320. and taking some more,

  321. whether it's our savings

  322. or our freedoms

  323. or our benefits.

  324. They don't care.

  325. They just want to take.

  326. But Jesus,

  327. the one who controls

  328. the universe,

  329. comes to you

  330. and he says,

  331. I'll be gentle with you.

  332. I'll not take,

  333. but I'll give.

  334. Here's rest

  335. for your soul.

  336. Here's rest

  337. for those longings

  338. deep in your heart

  339. that you can't satisfy

  340. any other way.

  341. Here it is.

  342. And here's a law

  343. for life

  344. that won't burden you

  345. but will be light

  346. and freeing

  347. if you live by it.

  348. Have you come

  349. to this king?

  350. You do that

  351. by repenting

  352. of your sin,

  353. saying sorry

  354. for living life

  355. on your terms,

  356. turning your life around

  357. and giving yourself

  358. over to him

  359. and in doing that

  360. you're entrusting yourself

  361. to his humble,

  362. loving care.

  363. Of course,

  364. we don't just take him up

  365. on this offer

  366. but those of us

  367. who have done that,

  368. we must also

  369. follow his example.

  370. If Jesus is the humble king

  371. that everyone

  372. who takes his name,

  373. that is everyone

  374. who calls themselves

  375. Christian,

  376. well then we should serve

  377. in the same kind

  378. of humble way.

  379. Given who he is,

  380. Jesus could have ridden

  381. into the city

  382. on a war horse

  383. but he chose

  384. the posture

  385. of a humble servant.

  386. The question

  387. we have to ask

  388. is in what ways

  389. is that posture

  390. visible in our lives?

  391. If you have taken

  392. the name of Christ,

  393. is that humble posture

  394. visible in the way

  395. that you live?

  396. That will look different

  397. for each of us,

  398. of course it will,

  399. but let's remind ourselves

  400. that Palm Sunday

  401. is about the humility

  402. of our king

  403. and those who take

  404. his name

  405. must follow his lead.

  406. Well we see first

  407. his control,

  408. secondly his humility

  409. and then the third detail

  410. Luke wants us to grasp.

  411. Perhaps the center

  412. of the story here

  413. is how Jesus

  414. then receives thirdly

  415. his worship,

  416. his worship,

  417. his control,

  418. his humility

  419. and then thirdly

  420. his worship.

  421. It starts in verse 35

  422. and they brought it

  423. to Jesus,

  424. the colt,

  425. and throwing their cloaks

  426. on the colt

  427. they set Jesus on it

  428. and as he rode along

  429. they spread their cloaks

  430. on the road.

  431. This is the first

  432. open acknowledgement

  433. that Jesus

  434. is their king

  435. and the worship

  436. actually starts

  437. as the disciples

  438. put their cloaks

  439. on the colt

  440. and then lift Jesus

  441. onto it.

  442. It's like when a sports team

  443. lifts their coach

  444. or their star player

  445. onto their shoulders

  446. when they win

  447. the championship.

  448. It's a statement

  449. of honor

  450. and of glory

  451. and in fact

  452. it's a little glimpse

  453. of Jesus' exaltation.

  454. They are lifting him up

  455. and then they lay

  456. their cloaks

  457. on the ground.

  458. The other gospels

  459. of course include

  460. the palm branches

  461. which was an ancient

  462. way to welcome a king.

  463. This is a symbolic

  464. red carpet

  465. that is being rolled out

  466. in front of him.

  467. It's a way of saying

  468. if your colt

  469. walks on my clothes

  470. it's not an insult

  471. to me

  472. it's an honor.

  473. It's a privilege.

  474. And then as he heads

  475. heads down

  476. it starts there

  477. with him being lifted up

  478. but then he heads

  479. down the Mount of Olives

  480. then the vocal praise

  481. starts up.

  482. Verse 37

  483. as he was drawing near

  484. already on the way

  485. down the Mount of Olives

  486. the whole multitude

  487. of his disciples

  488. began to rejoice

  489. and praise God

  490. with a loud voice

  491. for all the mighty works

  492. that they had seen

  493. saying

  494. blessed is the king

  495. who comes in the name

  496. of the Lord

  497. peace in heaven

  498. and glory

  499. in the highest.

  500. The disciples

  501. proclaim him

  502. for who he is.

  503. He's the king

  504. and their words

  505. the words that they're using

  506. are an echo

  507. of Psalm 118

    Psalms 118:26

  508. verse 26

  509. blessed is he

  510. who comes in the name

  511. of the Lord

  512. we bless you

  513. from the house

  514. of the Lord.

  515. It was one of the Psalms

  516. that the pilgrims sang

  517. as they went up

  518. to Jerusalem

  519. for the feast.

  520. They knew

  521. that that Psalm

  522. was the promise

  523. of the royal king

  524. and so here

  525. they see Jesus

  526. on the colt

  527. and they say

  528. there he is

  529. and they change

  530. blessed is he

  531. to blessed is the king.

  532. Here he is.

  533. Here is our king.

  534. The king that we have

  535. waited centuries for

  536. he's in our midst.

  537. Jesus is God's king.

  538. The one who is in control

  539. the one who comes

  540. in great humility

  541. is God's king

  542. and so it is fitting

  543. that his people

  544. would worship him.

  545. He has brought

  546. God's kingdom purposes

  547. to pass.

  548. He has brought

  549. peace in heaven

  550. between God

  551. and man.

  552. He's going to the cross

  553. in order to accomplish that

  554. and so the disciples

  555. see him

  556. and they can't

  557. but worship him.

  558. It is the only

  559. fitting response

  560. that their hearts

  561. would be lifted

  562. and that they would

  563. celebrate the one

  564. we've been waiting for.

  565. The king of the world

  566. is here.

  567. Now of course

  568. that's not true

  569. for everyone

  570. that was gathered

  571. at the parade that day.

  572. Look at verse 39.

  573. There they are

  574. hanging around

  575. like a bad smell

  576. as they always do.

  577. The Pharisees

  578. they're having none of it.

  579. All of this celebration

  580. and they're pulling

  581. their faces down

  582. in the worst possible look

  583. they can get.

  584. Tell the disciples

  585. to shut up.

  586. Teacher

  587. rebuke your disciples

  588. for all this celebration.

  589. Of course

  590. Jesus can't do that

  591. can he?

  592. He can't do it

  593. because that option

  594. isn't open to him

  595. because to do that

  596. would be actually

  597. to engage

  598. in a cosmic lie.

  599. It would be

  600. to tell an untruth

  601. about reality.

  602. To rebuke anyone

  603. for giving him glory

  604. would be to deny

  605. his true identity

  606. and he can't do that.

  607. It would also be

  608. to engage in idolatry

  609. because he would be saying

  610. that someone

  611. or something else

  612. is worthy of worship

  613. which is also not true.

  614. He can't do that either.

  615. And

  616. actually

  617. he can't do it

  618. because it would be

  619. to deny the disciples

  620. the greatest privilege

  621. any man

  622. any woman

  623. boy or girl

  624. can enjoy

  625. and that is to give glory

  626. to the one who stands

  627. at the center of reality.

  628. You know that

  629. that is our highest privilege

  630. that we get

  631. to worship

  632. the king of glory.

  633. That is what we were made for

  634. to glorify God

  635. and enjoy him

  636. forever

  637. and to be denied

  638. the ability

  639. to do that

  640. by the God of glory

  641. would be frankly absurd.

  642. Which is why

  643. even if the disciples

  644. didn't speak up

  645. it wouldn't matter

  646. because

  647. verse 40

  648. the very stones

  649. would cry out.

  650. Creation itself

  651. would open its mouth

  652. in praise

  653. of the one

  654. who is at the center

  655. of all reality.

  656. The question for us

  657. this morning

  658. is where

  659. would you be standing?

  660. if you were at the parade

  661. that day

  662. would you be worshipping

  663. or would you be whinging

  664. with the Pharisees?

  665. And it comes down

  666. where you stand

  667. comes down

  668. to what you make

  669. of the claim

  670. that Jesus

  671. is God's king.

  672. C.S. Lewis famously said

  673. that we only have

  674. three choices.

  675. Either

  676. Jesus is deluded

  677. about himself

  678. or he is engaged

  679. in a grand deceit

  680. that is

  681. he knows

  682. he isn't God's king

  683. but he's playing along

  684. so either

  685. he thinks he is

  686. but he's not.

  687. He knows he isn't

  688. but he's playing along

  689. with this great deceit.

  690. Either he is a lunatic

  691. or a liar

  692. or actually

  693. he is who the Bible

  694. presents him to be

  695. and that is Lord

  696. Lord of all.

  697. Those are the only options

  698. open to us.

  699. Here's Lewis

  700. you must make

  701. your choice.

  702. Either this man

  703. was and is

  704. the son of God

  705. or else a madman

  706. or something worse.

  707. You can shut him up

  708. for a fool

  709. you can spit at him

  710. and kill him

  711. as a demon

  712. or you can fall

  713. at his feet

  714. and call him

  715. Lord and God

  716. but let us not come

  717. with any patronizing

  718. nonsense about him

  719. being a great human teacher.

  720. He's not left

  721. that option open to us.

  722. He did not intend to.

  723. So will you humble yourself

  724. before this king?

  725. Will you join

  726. the parade of those

  727. who give him glory

  728. and praise?

  729. He doesn't need you.

  730. The whole of creation

  731. even the inanimate creation

  732. will give him

  733. the glory he deserves

  734. but he does invite you

  735. into this relationship

  736. with him.

  737. Will you stand

  738. at a distance

  739. with the Pharisees

  740. or will you follow him

  741. in praise

  742. with the disciples?

  743. And here's the thing

  744. as amazing

  745. as that first

  746. Palm Sunday was

  747. Jesus has

  748. even more glory

  749. now

  750. because this ride

  751. to Jerusalem

  752. was not to a coronation

  753. but to a cross

  754. where he was lifted up

  755. to his crucifixion

  756. and that death

  757. was a further glory

  758. as it purchased us

  759. from our sins.

  760. And then three days later

  761. he was further glorified

  762. as he was raised

  763. from the dead

  764. triumphing over death.

  765. Death couldn't hold him.

  766. He put death

  767. to death.

  768. And then again

  769. after that

  770. he is exalted

  771. even further

  772. to his father's right hand

  773. where he now sits.

  774. We're here this morning

  775. he is at his father's

  776. right hand

  777. in glory

  778. seated on his royal throne.

  779. There was glory

  780. on that first Palm Sunday

  781. but there is even more glory

  782. now.

  783. The question is

  784. what will you do

  785. with this king?

  786. And for those of us

  787. who do follow him

  788. do you see the challenge?

  789. There is a very obvious

  790. challenge to us

  791. I think in the public nature

  792. of his homage here.

  793. There is no such thing

  794. as private Christianity.

  795. When you name the name

  796. of Christ

  797. you are submitting

  798. your life to the king

  799. who has total authority

  800. as I said at the beginning.

  801. He has total claim

  802. over you

  803. over every mouse click

  804. every phone conversation

  805. every WhatsApp message

  806. every Instagram post

  807. every choice

  808. about a job

  809. every girlfriend

  810. boyfriend

  811. or spouse

  812. and every decision

  813. about how to raise

  814. your children

  815. and every other

  816. decision as well.

  817. The Christian does

  818. all of that

  819. under the lordship

  820. of King Jesus.

  821. But that lordship

  822. is also

  823. radically subversive

  824. because when we

  825. when we claim

  826. that he is our lord

  827. no other authority

  828. than Christ

  829. is ultimate.

  830. No government

  831. no economic forum

  832. no HR department

  833. no influencer.

  834. So where these voices

  835. come our way

  836. and insist that we

  837. deny the lordship

  838. of Christ

  839. either by word

  840. or by action

  841. we have to say no.

  842. And that's a challenge.

  843. It is a challenge

  844. in our day

  845. because the pressure

  846. to do this

  847. is rising

  848. in all kinds

  849. of ways.

  850. In our culture

  851. in our education

  852. in medical ethics

  853. corporate demands

  854. whatever it might be

  855. when you name

  856. the name of Christ

  857. as Lord

  858. no one else

  859. is Lord.

  860. and we must

  861. follow God

  862. rather than man.

  863. But as we close

  864. this morning

  865. in the face

  866. of all of this

  867. in the face

  868. of that challenge

  869. I want us

  870. to allow the fact

  871. of Jesus kingship

  872. to encourage us.

  873. You see

  874. when you want

  875. to follow Christ

  876. in the midst

  877. of this growing hostility

  878. when you get

  879. called in by HR

  880. because you refuse

  881. to acknowledge

  882. the false gods

  883. that they want you

  884. to acknowledge

  885. or you get

  886. passed over

  887. for promotion

  888. because you don't

  889. play the games

  890. that you can't play

  891. because you're

  892. a Christian

  893. or even just

  894. when you try

  895. to share the gospel

  896. with your friends

  897. and neighbors

  898. and they have

  899. no interest

  900. and you feel

  901. the rejection

  902. of that

  903. and you just think

  904. this gospel

  905. is never going

  906. to prevail.

  907. The darkness

  908. is too thick.

  909. The opposition

  910. is too hard.

  911. Remember that

  912. Jesus is God's

  913. king.

  914. He's lord of all.

  915. There is no

  916. greater authority

  917. and he has come

  918. in the flesh.

  919. He has revealed

  920. his kingship

  921. here in full view

  922. and he will build

  923. his church

  924. and keep

  925. his promises.

  926. So take heart.

  927. Allow

  928. Palm Sunday

  929. to encourage you.

  930. Be faithful.

  931. Be courageous

  932. and keep on.

  933. Let's pray together.
