For the Many

Let's have a word of prayer and watch into the scriptures. Father God,

we would be lost in a hurry without a patient kind of grace, without

a God who is from everlasting to everlasting and an everlasting righteousness in the mix.

Lord, you died to save the one, no doubt the whosoever of

John three point sixteen, the Father, thank you that the Bible teaches in

Isaiah and Daniel other places. You died to save the many. Also help

us to get it right in humility on our knees with Jesus, the Son

of God and his name Amen. Sometimes we have trouble in life because God

is more concerned about the many than the few. We tend to think we

are the center of our universe. You ever think that in your life,

I Am just got to pull it together, the whole world will fall par

Have you ever done that? No, sure you have. We capital we

quickly becomes me. We take the plural of eye and turn it into just

me, I, Me and mine becomes the center of a universe where the

many have become the few, and the few that can be reduced to you

and me simply becomes me. Jesus died on the cross for you and me.

Amen, But sometimes we forget that Jesus died on the cross for the

many too. And don't be surprised if God Almighty brings problems into your life

so that you can learn not to focus on you, but to focus on

others that are part of the many, of which Christ bled and died and

Christ on the cross of Calvary. We are here to affect the lives of

other men and women. That's why we are Christians. Our response to the

cross is a moral response. My wife has a car that has one hundred

and eighty nine thousand miles on it. God be praised. Now, since

we are not made of money like many, how many of you are like

many of us? You know? Okay, we're hoping to get as many

miles on that Ford Taurus as possible. The Lord has anointed my car,

he has poured his spirit on my car. He's given my car endurance.

I have two hundred fifty thousand miles on my car, if my wife only

has one hundred and nine. I thought this time around, why not see

if I can get a half a million miles out of my cars? I

have to I change the oil every five thousand miles with synthetic oil and a

good oil filter. I changed the fluids on time. Also, I serviced

the car responsibly, and still that little annoying yellow light that looks like an

engine comes on. It's a pure irritant to me. Now I have a

code reader. How many have a code reader that goes with your car?

I have a code reader in each car to see what that means when it

comes on. I stopped the car and I check it out. You know,

a code reader has a cable that hooks up to a connection underneath your

steering wheel. Then you hit the right keys and starts telling you what those

codes aren't. And then you can look on the internet and I'll tell you

what they mean. You become your own mechanic when you have a code reader.

I picked mine up at thrift stores and pawnshops or whatever for five ten

bucks, and boy, it saves me a lot of ignorant confusion. Now

I have, for a long time read two codes PO four to two oh,

and then after that long time another code that's settled in PO four to

three to zero. The first code told me there was a catalytic converter efficiency

problem on my right side. The second code irritated me. It lodged as

a permanent code in my computer system, which means I couldn't erase it,

but stuff in my engine and passed the emissions test anymore. It was the

permanent code, which means you failed to fact unless you do something. Now,

why in the world would the auto manufacturer put a permanent code into my

computer computer system? And I figured out why? Because they actually want you

to fix the problem, not just to read the code, but to solve

the underlying issue so your car runs better and it's safer and better for the

environment. Therefore, don't be surprised in your life if the Holy Spirit keeps

coming to you reading the codes of your heart, showing you what's going on

by a little nudge here or there, so you will know that you've got

to fix those deep seated problems. Surrender to God so you can have a

real relationship with God, not a fake religious experience. Did you hear me?

There's no way around it. There are times in life the warning light

won't go away until you get it on your knees. You beg God to

fix the problem so the permanent code is solved in your life. After a

moment. Multiple attempts, I finally arranged to get the problem fixed at the

shop. You know, I had to go to a mechanic. I failed

the DMV test. I wasn't able to pass the emissions test that gave me

till April fourth. So I went to my mechanic yesterday around ten am,

and I had a two hour wait in his office as he worked on the

problem. As God would have it, I was there and I was going

through this problem because God wanted me to meet some people who are part of

the many that He cares about. My problem was a providential problem for others

and also for me. We meet these kind of people all the time in

our lives. People living lonely lives in darkness, people without hope in their

lives. People who have never heard a word about Jesus. And they live

right here in Laurel. They're in your neighborhood. They're next to us.

They have no clue yet we live next to them, and they are yearning

inside for something and they do not know that that's something. Is what you

know when you come to church, you hear about, you read the spirit

of prophecy, you have interaction in prayer, they need some of that in

their life. Yet we lived miles away, even though we are close,

lonely people who will die forever about Jesus. The Many. There are many

of them out there, not a few. The many may be your brother

or sister, your son or daughter, your neighbor, or a pure stranger

you meet in life who needs you to tell them about Jesus, his word,

prophetic truth, the answers for our time. They need to know the

gospel, not a fake gospel, so they can have a reconciliation with God.

I really experience, as God would have it. My mechanic has a

family member who's come to our church here. She's come to our church a

daughter. I pray for him as family and that family member. I prayed

for him a number of times at the shop. And it started when God

first led me there because my car broke down, so I could meet him

and he could meet me and we could pray together. It's been a while

since he worked on my car. This time I noticed he had a new

secretary who let me know right off that she is an environmental scientist and that

she knows what's going on, So don't try to educate me or her.

She said about religion in the Bible and evolution and all that. She's a

lovely person with a New York accent, A keen mind, I get it

done, mindset organize a real help to the mechanic and to me, Frank,

you know, I like people who are transparent, and Frank, I

don't like people who are deceptive and they lie with their body language. I

like to be able to read someone know where they're coming from. I can

deal with that. They don't have to agree with me. And she was

that kind of person. She knows that I'm a pastor, and that makes

her a little nervous. You ever get nervous around a pastor? A pastor

walks in the room and everybody stops talking. Pastor just walked in. You

know how a pastor feels man alive? How should I dress? Maybe in

shorts or something, who knows, But you know there's something about the or

of a pastor that kind of calms the place and people look. Yesterday,

I walked in at ten am, and she reminded me of her credentials,

as if to say, don't bring up religion today. To a scientist like

me, I bring up religion, Yeah, here or there a little bit,

but not You know, I don't push religion on people, but I

do use every opportunity God gives me to talk to share, to introduce Jesus

practically for their needs and concerns. I have found that praying for someone is

the best way to share Christ. I found that over the years. It

doesn't mean we should in Bible study. I do. But when you pray

for somebody, they don't forget it. You keep on praying for them.

They know you love them. You don't have to defend the truth or teach

someone anything or virtue signal, which is often what we do in religion.

Do we virtue signal? I'm religious because you know, we can pray for

people sincerely, not to show off, just sincerely, and God does the

work for that someone he cares about. I like praying for people as the

spirit of Prophecy says that Jesus Christ would visit the workplace, homes, the

marketplace. He would meet people with these little contexts, micro contexts, and

he would pray for them and minister them. And when they had that great

harvest of souls at Pentecost, it was because Jesus was doing personal work in

people's lives. There's a place for great evangelists. But listen, this church,

this movement, God's work on Earth grows one person at a time,

one stone at a time, a personal contact at a time. I consider

every meeting a divine appointment for someone's good and also mine. With that said,

she was hinting that I should not bring up the religious stuff today.

So as I sat down in my chair, the one next to her desk,

there was another man sitting in the chair next to her desk. He

was getting his car fixed. Also, the two of us were next to

her. She was doing the work. Gary, our mechanic, was nearby,

and so this man next to me. He was smart, educated,

well read, and retired. Look retired. But I'm not hanging there.

Someone just said today you look like you're so wise. You have gray hair.

Quit telling me that I'm just kidding. I told him I'm gonna I'm

going to cut off the wisdom this week and shorten it. Having fun with

you. We started talking about science, physics, quantum mechanics, you know,

quantum electric you know qed theory, Einstein philosophy, The pyramids came up,

Extra dimensions, aliens. YouTube has educated the world These days, everybody

knows everything and you name it. He could interact with them all because he

was well read, smart, and he watched YouTube. I could tell.

I'm not sure what he did for a living in the past, but I

suspect he was probably a scientist. He wouldn't tell me, or someone pretty

high up in the government. I kind of got that feeling. And as

we begin to talk, he gave me his testimony about a UFO. A

UFO encounter was a deep spiritual experience in his life. I didn't say,

oh, I don't tell me that. I said, sure, tell me.

Talked about the time he was driving down the road in some place in

Virginia when he saw clouds that was different than any cloud he'd ever seen in

his life, and as he began to examine it, he saw the structure

of an object wrapped in the clouds. He described the thing as a huge

thing. He says, it looked like a huge ship of some sort in

that cloud, with doors and structure, amazing features underneath. He says,

an alien kind of thing. I believe, he says, in extra dimensions,

and there was something from extra dimension appearing to me in the cloud.

He wasn't making it up either. He was dead serious. He saw this

thing in the sky and it was real to him, and I let him

know that I have seen the UFO once. I don't laugh at people.

I have seen the UFO. You know. Someone else who saw UFO was

Jimmy Carter. He's seen the UFO. I was also in hallm Michigan,

where military radar tracked a group of UFOs. It was they were pursued by

the police. A number of people in that community were interacting watching this stuff

in cornfields and other things, and it was such an amazing event that it

made the national news on forty hours. I think CBS carried that show almost

twenty years ago. It was right behind my house. I didn't see it.

I was in bed. I mean, the military has come out with

this kind of stuff, and why are they doing that? Who knows that

sighting occurred just behind my house in Hall of Michigan. I saw a UFO

somewhere else. I didn't act like he was stupid or he didn't see it.

I just listened to him share his testimony of the UFO. As he

shared with me his testament with the UFO, I prayed. I said,

Dear Lord, help me to know what to say so I can reach you,

help me listen to him. And then the moment came when the subject

shifted and Sir Isaac Newton he landed on the right spot with me. The

father of modern scientists, the great monotheist who influenced the Baconian scientific method,

who took the discoveries of Kepler, Galileo, and elliptical orbits, and was

able to discern from nature observation and intellect and prayer the laws of mechanics that

gave us the modern world. Devout Christian man, the father of modern science.

I said, did you know that Sir Isaac Newton was a devout Christian

man who quoted the Book of Daniel in his famous work Principia when he defined

the laws of motion, mechanics and gravity. So we can understand how the

motion of circles around the Earth, elliptical orbits were gravity, and so on.

Solar system stuff. Now, sister White wrote about the Solar system and

Jesus and the Tsar of Ages, page four sixty four. She says,

we can trace the line of the world's great teachers as far back as human

records extend, but the light was before them. The moon and the stars

of the solar system shine by the reflected light of the sun. So far

as their teaching is true, to the world's great thinkers reflect the rays of

the sun of righteousness. That's Jesus. Every gem of thought, every flash

of intellect, is from the light of the world. So when you have

a relationship with Jesus friend, you can get a higher education in the school

of God. And then she says this. In these days we hear much

about higher education. The true higher education is that imparted by Him and whom

are He had all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and him was life,

and the life was the light of men. He that follows me said,

Jesus shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

This is why education matters. In Adventism. We are meant to educate

our young people so that they are the brightest, the best in the world.

And we shine in the medical area. But we should be the best

in physics, the best in geology, the best in biology, et cetera,

et cetera. Theology, Bible study, biblical philosophy. That the world

has ever seen. Why because Jesus is the great teacher. And as we

talked about Sir Isaac Newton, I spoke up, and he was surprised that

a pastor would read about quantum mechanics, general and special relativity in this kind

of thing. But I have to you know, why God doesn't want us

to be ignorant. I'm not a scientist, but I have to know what

is going on or I cannot really represent God's word right. So as we

talk about sarrising Newton, I spoke up and said that Sir Isaac Newton claimed

here was the my you know way I got into this, that the prophecy

of the seventy weeks of Daniel nine. How many of you read that in

your Bible? Raise your hand high so I get a good sense of it.

About two thirds of you have. He claimed that that prophecy of seventy

weeks, which is a four hundred nine year prophecy, is the cornerstone of

the Christian religion. I said, well, how smart was aisa Newton?

He said real smart? I said, well, when he makes a statement

like that, what does it mean? So we got a dialogue going.

I talked about those space aliens in the Torah. I went to Moses.

I said, when you go back to the Torah and books of Moses,

immediately you've got extraterrestrials in play. Is it? What do you mean,

I says, these angels are ets. I talked about the space aliens in

the Toro who came to Earth. According to Moses in Deuteronomy four nineteen,

God said, you shall not worship the host of heaven. I have given

these to the nations. Don't do what they do, these cosmic powers that

came here. I shared with him that the In fact, there's a tach,

a genealogical text in Genesis ten which I don't have the verse right on

the tip of my ting tongue, but it says kissaling him from what came

the Philistines, and it's structurally embedded with Satan's angels and structures in the revelation.

I don't want to go into that now, but kissala him means Orion

once came the sea invaders. And so I talked about those space aliens in

the Toro came to Earth, a coining to Moses in Deuteronomy four nineteen,

who gained control of the nations as gods and Psalms eighty two. The gods

in charge of the nations of the earth, the Alahms, which are space

aliens fallen angels, we know them ass And I share with him that the

Hebrew langers calls these shads demon gods. And as I as I asked,

as I asked if he agreed that it was possible, I said, is

it possible, sir, that these et demon gods are shads, might be

the bad guys playing with their minds, that they could actually make us see

things that they want us to see, so they can manipulate outcomes. If

they're that smarts and they're that powerful. He said, maybe so. And

I share with him briefly how all the nations came under the control of these

shad demon gods according to the Torah, and how finally God himself showed up

in the person of Jesus Christ to send seventy disciples to the seventy nations under

demonic control to get them back for God with the Gospel as I showed him

in the Bible, where Jesus was a sign to the nation of Israel that

came after the seventy and he became the overseer God of the Jewish nation who

would lead his people to promised land. They were all called Eloheims in Psalms

eighty two. But the true Elohim God was in Christ way back then Exus

twenty three, twenty twenty twenty one. Take your bibles in turn with me

there, if you would. This is Mount Sinai. The law has just

been given. God the Father is speaking, not God the Son. To

Moses, he says, behold, I send an angel before you to guard

you on the way, to bring you to the place which I had prepared.

What does it say next in verse twenty one, give he to him.

He's a person, and hearken to his voice. Do not rebel against

Tim, for he will not pardon your transgression, meaning rebellion, your consistent

rebellion. And here are his credentials. For my name is in him.

I share this one with the Jehovah's Witness PhD. In Physics, the University

of Maryland, who's trying to convert a lot of our young people here at

reaching hearts out of our faith into the Jehovah's witness faith. And I said,

and what does it mean that God's name is in him? I said,

sir, what is the divine name of God that your church is so

famous for? And he couldn't bring himself to verbalize it with this verse,

it's Jehovah Yahweh God. If Jehovah, Yeahweh God is in this being,

guess who he is? Jehovah Yahweh God. In angel form, the divine

name of the True God is Yahweh, which we often refer to as Jehovah.

I explained to him that Yahweh means craining to God himself in Exos three,

I am who I am, Yahweh Jehovah, the Lord in all capital

letters in your English Bible is Yahweh, and Jehovah is my name. Thus

I am to be remember throughout all your generations. So what's God's name?

If I were to ask you what God's name is? What would you say

to me today? Based on Ex's three, Come on, I am who

or what I am? What does that mean? You? See? You

are, your character, your nature, your personality. Who you are?

I am who I am? Is that? So? What's God's name?

It's his character, it's his person it's his nature. When we speak of

God's name, And what does that mean in practical terms, it's God's Law

revealed a transcript of his character. It's God's covenant who he is. So

what is the everlasting Covenant's God's Because God's Law is embedded in God's heart and

mind, it's who he is. And so if God's name is in this

being, this being is the messenger of the Covenant because he bears divine credentials.

In this context, to have God's name in your life means that this

angel assigned to Israel is God in angel form, who has the power and

the credentials to lead us to the Promised Land. This angel, who became

the spiritual Prince of Israel was Yahweh God, an angel form according to God.

Isaiah sixty three nine I'm not gonna look it up calls him the Angel

of God's presence. They'll redeeming angel. Jacob called him the Redeemer, and

then he called him God in the Old Testament in Genesis when he was blessing

the sons of Joseph. And just like Isaiah forty six, he called him

who calls him also the Redeemer Yahweh Jehovah of Hosts. It says, it

talks about the King of Israel Yahweh, and his redeemer Yahweh of hosts two,

I am the first and the last. Besides me, there is no

God. And Jesus will quote that for himself at the end of book Revelation,

and God the Father will say it a couple of times in the book

Revelation, because together they are God. I am who I am. God

knew that the people needed to know that this angel assigned to Israel as Yahweh

Jehovah an angel form, and thus this angel possesses the almighty credentials. Why

does he need almighty credentials? Dear heart, we have broken Whose law?

Tell me interact? How eternal is God's law? It's God. The only

one who can atone for a broken law is God, no one else.

We have to have a high christology to have a high view of the Gospel.

Turned to Access twenty three twenty two, God said, but if you

hearken attentively to his voice and do all that I say, then I will

be an enemy to your enemies, an adversary to your adversaries. Who do

we need to follow? In the context, who do we need to follow?

This being who has God's name in Him, which is the Son of

God. And when my Angel goes before you and brings you to the Amorites,

the Hittites, the Parizites, the Canaanites, the Hivites, the Jebisites,

and he says, I blot them out verse twenty four. You shall

not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to

their works. But you shall utterly overthrow them and break their pillars in pieces.

What he's saying is, you don't compromise in some kind of crazy ecumenicism

with world religions. You stay true to what I've told you through Moses,

and let this be who is God in angel form guide you. You listen

to him from Sinai to the Second Coming. We have no business compromising with

evil anywhere in the Church in our lives, because the Lord Yahweh is in

our midst in the form of the Angel of His Presence, the mighty Angel

of the Covenant, as Malachi calls him. I shared with him from John

that this divine person that led Israel in the past is Jesus Christ. I

actually mentioned Jesus to him. Turn to John one to one. Here's what

I showed you in the beginning was the word. How many of you see

that? Now? The first time the word of God appears as a person

in Genesis is Jenesus fifteen to one. The word of the Lord came to

Abram and saying, Yet in the beginning is how the book of Genesis starts.

Christ was at the dawn of time. According to John, in the

beginning was the word revealed to Abraham as the word of the Lord that came

to Abrama vision saying, and the word was with God. He was God's

associate, and the word was God. Now that's clear language. Sister White

says, this is clear language. Look at verse two. He was in

the beginning with God. He's a person. Verse three, all things were

made through him. Now what's everything? I'm asking you a simple question.

What's everything? Well? What? Well? Everything's everything? Right? Okay,

we call that the universe, don't we. The fact is the Greek

word for universe is top panta. It's the same word here. All things

were made through him. With that him was not anything made that was made.

You see, Jesus created every star, read, every galaxy, every

micro particle. Sister White says, the total creat of universe was created.

Is the one who created the stars and the planets hung on Calvary's cross.

That's what this is saying. Look at the next verse was four and him

was life, and the life was the light event. How many of you

want to live forever? And this being was life? And I read this

to him, and he was looking at it. And then verse five the

light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome or comprehendeth it

not the pen your translation. Both are possible. I showed him in John

one that this person who is the Word of God is Jesus, who created

the universe as the Word of God, who is called God himself, who

is with God as an associate. In John one one, but also God

an amazing verse to read. He was all in there now, this space

alien stuff had brought him to Jesus, the true light that enlightens every person.

Verse nine was coming into the world. France, go, God cares

about the many, and that is why God sent Jesus, who's also God,

to save the many and to save you and me. And then I

showed him John one ten, and take your bibles and move John one ten

with me. Come on, what does it say? He was in the

world. And what does the text say next? The world was made through

him, yet the world knew him not Okay, so he was He was

the creator and he didn't leave this place when it got all messed up.

Verse eleven. He came to his own home. Now what would that be

based on Nexus twenty three twenty twenty one. That was Israel, wasn't He

was a sign to the nation of Israel at Mount Sinai as their guardian protector.

He came to his own home and his own people. And this is

the sad stuff. What does it say his own people received him? Not

Now, dear heart, your eternal destiny will be determined. But what you

do with Jesus in your life, you better be very careful when you study

your Bible and you pray that you don't make Jesus something less than what he

needs to be to save you. Now look what he says next in verse

twelve. But to all who received him, Now is that the few of

the many? That's the look. There'll be people saved who have very bad

theology, but if they have Jesus, they get in to all who received

him, who believed in his And here's the keyword. Is what and what's

his name? Yahweh Jehovah already revealed in the Old Testament, Yahweh of Hosts,

the King of Israel, Yahweh's redeemer. In Isaiah forty first six,

he gave power to become the children of God. You see, you have

to have a high christology to have the power to be saved. Angel power

won't save you. Created being power won't save you. Divine power will save

you. Peter tells us that we received divine power in our lives to the

promises that come in the word of God. And John tells us Jesus is

the word of God. Jesus came to save the many by changing them in

the insight by the power of his Yeahweh name. That is God's nature,

God's character, God's law of love, the content and meaning of I am

who I am. How do we know what God's character really is? We

can read the tenth Commandments, right, How do we really know who God

is? Only one person has revealed him? Who is that? In the

life of Jesus we know God verse thirteen, Who were born not of blood,

nor the will of flesh, nor the will of man, but of

God And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and

truth, and we beheld his glory. Glory is of the only son from

the Father. When we looked into the face of Jesus, John tells us,

we saw the glory of God shining out. The glory of God almighty

is Jesus. He's ascribed as that in Hebrews One. The outshining of his

glory. That's what Christ is. How can you separate God from his glory?

You can't. The word glory means character in the Bible too. The

word of God, who is God, has the divine credentials to save us.

He is the one who came to save the many. Paul says,

God was in Christ reconciling us. Unto him. He didn't send some weakened

representative. He sent the deity. Jesus was the ultimate Et, who is

God in human form. I then pointed him Day on nine twenty four to

show this amazing time prophecy that predicted the coming of Jesus, his death on

the cross, and his divine credentials. He was all years to hear what

Et had to say. So we went to Day on nine twenty fourth,

take your bible as quickly open it. We're not going to go in depth

here. We're going to look at the big thing. Seventy weeks are determined

in the Hebrew cuttok decreed for your people in your holy city, the Jewish

people, to finish the transgression. That's theirs. To make an end of

sins, that's all of us, to make reconciliation for iniquity. That's universe,

your soul, to bring in everlasting righteousness, that's eternal righteousness. What's

an everlasting righteousness? It's not a limited righteousness, it's an infinite righteousness.

To seal up vision prophecy and to annoint the Kodesh Koashim, the holy of

holies. And I explained to him that this means a lot to me,

that God would send Jesus to die for my sins. How many of you

appreciate that fact in your life? Raise your hands. I appreciate that fact.

We have to raise our hands and say, praise God that Jesus died

for me every day of our life. We did the math together without a

chart, no charts. Seventy weeks is seventy times seven, which equals four

to ninety he got it. Smart guy. He was happy to learn the

principle from Daniel that one day is one year in Bible prophecy. Kind of

simple, and just like Sir Isaac Newton, he was seeing a four hundred

and ninety year time prophecy about someone who would come with the credentials of God

Almighty, with an everlasting righteousness to take away our sins Danie nine twenty five,

next verse, No, therefore, and understand that from the going forth

of the command the Hebrew words davar is the is the Hebrew word for the

word. The Word is coming. Just like John in the beginning of the

word. When the decree goes out, the word Jesus is on the move

in Daniel nine twenty five to restore and build Jerusalem until the Messiah prince.

There should be seven weeks, in sixty two weeks, the street should be

built again in the wall. Even in troubles times. He was focused now

on the word. Who is God? And the Messiah is coming and there's

an everlasting righteousness. Now, who is the king of righteousness? In the

Book of Hebrews, you guys know, come on, you read your bibles.

Hebrew seven, Who's the King of Righteousness. Mail Kezah deck in Christ

is a high priest after the order makeack Melkezdak means king of righteousness. I

share with him that I needed someone in my life who has the divine credentials

to save me. I create being is not good enough to say, and

one can't bring in everlasting righteousness. A being who has a beginning is not

good enough to bring in everlasting righteousness because he doesn't know what's that that far

back. He doesn't go to everlasting. No ordinary angel would get the job

done for us. Only God can do that. I showed him here the

Decree of Ezra seven. It starts in the fall four fifty seven BC.

He did the math with me, just like Sirrison Newton did from four fifty

seven BC seven weeks he was forty nine years. It comes to four eight

BC. He said, yeah, I got it. Then sixty two more

weeks sixty two times seven is four and thirty four more years with no zero.

We made sure that eight twenty seven a d. That's New Testament time

when Jesus shows up in Luke three right on time, and they're expecting him

that year as the Messiah to be baptized by the Holy Spirit, become God's

anointed. Now look at Dane nine twenty six, real quick, and after

the sixty two weeks, Messiah shall be cut off, but not for him.

Sol So when Jesus died, did he die for himself or he die

for everybody else? He died not for himself. I shared with him that

Jesus died for me, not just me, but the many, you,

me, all of us in this room, and the people. The Prince

who is to come, shall destroy the city and sanctuary. Theologians have argued

about this, Well, is the people the prince to come, the Messiah

prince or Titus? And the Gospel of John says the Prince of this world

is coming. He has no power over me. That's how John interprets this

verse. The end of it shall be with the flood, until the end

of the war desolations are determined. We both agreed that this was the destruction

of Jerusalem seventy eight eight. Here's Daniel talking about salvation hundreds of years before,

and he gets this history right. How did he know that? Now?

In the second century BC, Jewish people recognized that the Messiah, Prince

of the on nine twenty four is milkazidak. Did you know that how many

of you have ever read the Dead Sea Scrolls? I mean it's a little

book. I actually read the Dead Sea Scrolls all the way through Cave eleven,

second century BC l Q is called the Melkezedic Document. And in that

document, the Jewish people were looking for the Messiah based on Daniel nine.

They were looking for tin ju Belieze, which is a four hundred and nine

year time period. They were interacting directly with seventy weeks. And they were

looking for Melkezedak, who is God Elahim, who would come to give the

light and spell the darkness. And they knew that to be Melkezedak, he

had to be an eternal being. And this is what Paul is interacting with

in the Book of Hebrews in chapter seven when he says, Melkezedek neither has

beginning of days or end of years. In this way he is likened to

the Son of God. This was what the Jewish people were interacting with based

on the Book of Daniel, expecting the Messiah in eighty twenty seven. And

they understood that this Messiah prince has to be God to say from darkness,

that he has to have the credentials of Melkezedak. He has to be Alohem.

It's right there in that document. And they taught that this king of

righteousness of Kezidak would lead the sons of light to the truth of God.

And they understood that all before Jesus came. And thus the New Testament is

hot loaded with context. Friend, don't strip Jesus of his god and credentials

that you need for him to save you from your sins, like he says

next, but what about the last week of the seventy weeks that gets the

job done to put an end to sin? To bring in everlasting righteousness in

verse twenty four is only possible if God's righteousness is God's righteousness. It has

to be an everlasting righteousness, Paul says. But now a righteousness he's quoting

to a nine twenty four has been revealed or manifested apart from the law,

even though the law and the prophets bear witness the righteousness that comes through faith

in Jesus Christ, God's righteousness. In nine twenty seven, it says,

then he shall confirm a covenant. And no, I want to draw your

attention this verse. Look at the Bible. He shall confirm a covenant.

What does it say? Come on, read it with me with many?

You see the word many, how many even see the word many? Come

on right, help me know you are looking at the Bible many for one

week, but in the middle of the week he shall bring it into sacrifices

and such and such grain offering. I pointed out that Jesus did this,

but died on the cross as the pass over lamb, as the sacrifice.

It came to an end of veil, the temple was rent. He got

the connection. We did the math together again without a chart. No charts

twenty seven AD plus seven more years ends an eighty thirty four. So from

twenty seven AD to eighty thirty four is the last seven years. The middle

is eighty thirty one. He said, wow, that's the year. Yep,

Jesus died for the many in thirty one A d and for me and

you, and then says, on the wing of abominations shall come on who

makes desolate, even until the decreed end is poured on the desolate. He

could see that Jesus got it done. At the end of the fourty ninety

years for the many. Now this verse is quoted in the Gospel of Matthew

directly. It's quoted in Matthew twenty six twenty eight when Jesus the Lord's sappers

said, for this is my blood of the covenant, which has poured out

for the many for the forgiveness of sins. Daniel said, he will confirm

a covenant with or for the many. Christ is going right back to day

on nine and says, I'm getting it done by God's grace. I am

the fulfillment of the seventy weeks. I'm going to die on time for the

sins of the world. I pointed out that Jesus died for me and you

brothers. He could see that Jesus got it done at the end of the

ninety years for the many. Then I did something. Now, how many

of you have seen these blue cards here? How many of you pick up?

John? Do you have any more of these blue cards in church?

Here? Where's John domit? He's with his children in the side room.

Okay, John, come on out here a second. They see these blue

cards, they say, angels in the glen dot org. How many have

you got on on the website? Angels the Glen dot orgs. I gave

him, Look, if you can't give a Bible study, you can give

a card and then if you interact with that person through the card and so

the angels in Glen dot org website, I gave it. I told him

about it, told him to email my friend John and time the pastor Mike

had showed up and shared that with him. I like getting an interaction,

you know, I said, start the videos in day one and go all

the way to the end and call me back. Now. I'm gonna call

him this week. We exchanged phone numbers and at that point we both got

our bills for the auto work at the same time. My bill was very

small. Ha laylu y'ah, hallay lou y'all praise the Lord. And his

bill was not so small. God is in control. He kept looking at

his bill. It was kind of hard for him to remember what I had

said, so I explained to him gently that our mechanic does good work on

the inside of a car. He can fix it. He looked a little

relieved at that fact, but not the bill. It was twice my bill.

At this point, my mechanic came back in. I took the opportunity

to bow my head and pray for my mechanic and everybody else in the room

too. Why why not just leave and get my keys and go home.

Because Jesus died for the many. Every person we meet in our life is

a candidate for eternal life. I went to my mechanics, my other two

mechanics, but because I want to know all of them. Who works on

another car that I've been going by his home, his shop for weeks and

months, just praying for him. We started studies and he got too busy,

he has to close his shop up. But this last week he said,

you come by this. It's this coming Wednesday. He says, you

linger my son, and I want to study the Bible with you. It's

been months just going by and praying for him, nothing more than that.

And he volunteered that. Friend. Have you heard have they heard the people

in your lives? You speak joyfully of Jesus to them? Are you proud

of Jesus? Have you bothered to study the Bible with them? You said,

well, I don't know how to give Bible. I've heard doctors and

lawyers tell me, oh, I don't know how to go a Bible study

you ever said that I don't know good Bible's duty. Look, you don't

have to know how to give a Bible study. You can stumble through the

Bible. The powers not in you. It's in the word. Open it

up, share a promise with a dear heart. They ask you a question,

research it. Use the Amazing Facts Bible study series. I'm telling you

it's a good thing. Have you bothered to study the Bible with them,

even a little bit of the Bible? Have you shared your faith in Jesus?

Or you just assume? Well? By influence is so wonderful. If

I say nothing, they'll figure it out. Well, they won't figure anything

out unless you say something. Jesus said, you are my witnesses, So

share and prayer helps. It matters. How did I feel when I left

my mechanic shop yesterday. I'm going into my emotions. I felt great.

I felt great because God had arranged a divine appointment in my life with some

very precious people in my path, who are the many in need of prayer,

a thought, and some love. It was great. I also felt

good because I didn't have to pay a big bill to fix my car.

I thought it'd be twenty five hundred to three thousand dollars to fix her car.

It's thirty five, three hundred and fifty dollars. That's it. I

was out the door. God be praised. God took care of that challenge

too. And I noticed when I drove away that the check engine light was

gone. Is that a good thing? And I also noticed that check engine

light here inside of me that I felt good inside because that day, because

of God's providence, I wasn't on my agenda. I was living for others,

and that out good. The check engine light and side felt good.

Friends, when you love the many, God saves you too. He loves you
