When the Lion Roared

Let's have a prayer. Dear Father God, we need truth

in our generation. Not fable, not human devising, but truth.

Help us to be the people of the truth, so

that we live the Word. We love it, and by

so doing we love you and Jesus. Take this feeble

instrument and help me today to reveal the Bible in

Jesus' name.

Amen.

The Remnant Church of the book Revelation has two defining

characteristics that are all important for the time of the end.

How many characteristics? What did I say? Two?

The remnant church in the book Relation is that part

of the Christian Church that remains faithful to God's Law,

faithful to the Gospel of Jesus at the.

Time of the end.

I don't know about you, but I want to be

part of the faithful Church of God before Jesus returns.

Are you in that group? Okay?

The remnant church is not faithful because it is a

large group of Christians or a small group either.

That's not what makes it faithful. Some people say, well,

I'm the remnant where the small group. We have to

be right.

No, being small doesn't make you right, and being big

doesn't make you right. It's being faithful that makes you

the remnant church at the time of the end. If

the church is faithful, it values the Father of the Son,

the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and what God

has taught us in his word. During the Middle Ages,

for twelve and sixty years, the Triune God had nourished

the persecuted church in the wilderness with the Bible. I mean,

every time I take my Bible in my hand and

I hold it, I praise God we have it. I

don't need to learn from someone smarter than the Bible,

because in this book we have God Almighty infused as

the testimony of Jesus. In Revelation twelve four to six,

we have a picture of Satan's attack upon the Church.

He first attacked Christ when he was born. He tried

to prevent him from dying on the cross, and then

he went after the church for over one thousand years

in Middle Ages. The Bible says his tale drew the

third part of the stars of heaven and did cast

them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman,

which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her

child as soon as it was born. As soon as

Christ was born on earth, Satan was working through Herod

and Rome to destroy Jesus unsuccessful verse five, and she

brought forth a male child, that's Jesus, who was to

rule all nations with the rot of iron. And her

child was caught up to God after his crucifixion. So

Christ went to heaven. He couldn't get Christ anymore. He

was caught up to God in his throne. The text says,

so what happens after that?

Verse six?

And the woman representing God's people who have a spiritual

connection to the heavin Jerusalem fled into the wilderness where

she hath a place prepared of God, just like Israel

win into the wilderness to feed on manna. God had

a place for the persecuted church of the Middle Ages.

And notice what it says. Now I have the King

James version here, which reflects the Greek perfectly. It says,

where she hath a place prepared of God? That what

what does the Bible say? They should feed her for

one thousand, two hundred and three score days.

You see, God said, let us make man.

In our image after our likeness, God as I. But

he's also a they. And this is why he calls

that the Godhead, the triune Godhead, that they should feed

her there for one thousand, two hundred and three score days.

The faithful Church fled into the wilderness. After Jesus was

taken to Heaven, she was nourished for twelve hundred and

sixty years. Each day there is a year in the

mountains of Italy where the Waldensian Christians were faithful to

the law of God the Gospel, and they kept the

seventh day Sabbath. The same thing was true in Ethiopia

and other places far away from the corrupt cities of

Europe and Rome. God preserved his persecuted church like a

pure woman in the wilderness at the time of the end,

a remnant of that faithful Church of the Middle Ages

that belongs to Jesus Christ, the true See that came

out of the Reformation, that endured horrible persecutions at the

hands of the Church of Rome. According to Revelation twelve,

appears at the time of the End with two defining

characteristics that will prepare the remnant Church and the whole

world for the mark of the Beast test in Revelation

thirteen and thus the Second Coming. So this topic of

the remnant Church is not a topic that we should ignore,

and we can't go ecumenical in our mindset, that we

forget that God is not ecumenical. He's interested in faithful believers,

compromising believers who get along to get along. The last

verse of Revelation twelve is Revelation twelve seventeen. It's seminal.

It defines the remnant church at the time of the end.

It is just before the mark of the Beast and

Revelation thirteen reading from the King James version again. And

the dragon was wroth or angry with the woman went

off to make war with the remnant of her seed.

Seed is Christ the male child. The remnant that are.

Faithful to Jesus, which keep the commandments of God number two,

they have the Testament of Jesus Christ. Here is defined

the remnant church at the time of the end, very

clearly set out.

The seed of the woman is Jesus the male child.

As I said in Revelation twelve four, the dragon tried

to destroy him, and so the dragon at the end

tries to destroy those faithful to Jesus at the time

of the end. The remnant church is the faithful church

at the time of the end that remains faithful to Jesus,

because it is faithful to God's law ten commandments. And

look at that verse again, go back. It says they

keep the commandments of God. How many of them are

there in the Covenant giving it sinai ten.

They don't say, well.

We're gonna throw out the fourth, we're gonna throw out

the sixth, we're gonna throw out the first.

Or any of them.

They value all of them as one, because God is one.

The remnant church is the faithful church at the time

of the end. Relation twelve seventeen says the remnant will

keep the commandments of God, and we should not read

quickly over that. John fourteen fifteen Jesus said this, if

you love me, what did he say, keep my commandments?

How many you want to love Jesus? All right, put

your hand down. How many you want to keep the

ten commandments? That's loving Jesus, not as a legalist, but

from the heart. Now I've heard people say, well, it

really doesn't matter about the Sabbath or this or that.

All that matters is love.

How many you want to love you? I'm in that group.

If you love me, you'll keep my commandments. Well, love

is keeping the commandments you see, when we keep the

Ten Commandments, not to be saved, but because we have

a relations with Jesus, we are loving God, We're loving Christ,

We're worshiping him. Obedience is the ultimate form of worship.

The Remnant Church, by definition, loves Jesus because he keeps

the commandments of God. So if you want to figure

out what is not the Remnant Church, just find churches

that are saying it doesn't matter to keep this commandment

or that if you're a member of a church that

teaches people to break the Ten Commandments, then you need to.

Find a new church.

Based on the book Revelation, this is the first defining

characteristic of the remnant Church, the church that is poised

for the mark of the Beast, test that will go

through end time events that will eventually see Jesus come

be ushered into glory. The Remnant Church is a Sabbatarian

church that keeps all the commandments of God, including the

form Commandment. And why do I say that? It says,

here are those who keep the commandments of God. In

the fourth Commandment, what is the Sabbath day, seventh day,

Sunday the seventh day.

Therefore, it's not a commandment of God. Is it. The

Bible says, the seventh day is the Sabbath of the

Lord your God.

The remnant church has to be a Sabbatarian church at

the time of the end that keeps all of the commandments.

The remnant church will keep all ten of those commandments

because God is one. I think of the text in

Deuteronomy's sixth here o Israel, the Lord our God is one.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your

heart and all your soul and all your might. And

these words mean the ten commandments of chapter five. There

to be as frontlets between your eyes, and there to

be in your hand. And that's where the mark of

the beast goes, because it's an intact upon God's ten

commandment covenant of God's law. Some people say, well, pastor Mike,

why is the law of God so important? Is that

a good question to ask? Why talk about the ten Commandments?

How many of you think God is important? Is God important?

The Bible teaches that God's law is God, that God

is his law. God's holy name Yahweh as I am

who I am, And the ten Commandments is a description

of who God is. I am the Lord your God

who and then he gives us the Ten Commandments as

the I am. We know the content of God's character,

the nature of his being, from the revelation of his law.

And we also know it because Jesus revealed the law.

In John seventeen. He revealed the nature of his character

the Cross of Christ when he says, the words you've

given me, I've declared to them the glory I had

with you before the world was made, the glory that

is your character at the Cross revealed you see, the

Ten Commandments was spoken at Sinai, at the Us. God

died to demonstrate the Ten Commandments in Jesus, God was

in Christ. So if you value the law, you value God.

The second characteristic of the remnant Church is also define

relation in twelve seventeen, So stay there for a little bit.

The text says, it has the testimony of Jesus. How

many have you ever been to court? You ever been

to court? You ever had to give testimony? I had

to two days on a federal witness stand for this

church gave testimony.

They grill you.

Do you realize that we are all in court and

we are called to bear testimony to Jesus, Right but

in a very special sense. The testimony of Jesus is

more than just us. It is a special gift where

Jesus speaks to the church to guide it. And we're

going to look at that here. It's no small claim

here to have the testimony of Jesus in the remnant church.

The testimony of Jesus means that the remnant church has

the special prophetic guidance at the time of the end.

It's not a church it just comes into existence clumsily,

that's suddenly there. It's a church that Jesus Christ himself

has raised up through the testimony of Jesus. The remnant church,

it stands with special guidance from Jesus Christ for the

time of the end. So what is the testimony of

Jesus In the book Revelation take your Bible's term with

me to Revelation one, verses one and two. John begins

his book by saying, the Revelation of Jesus Christ the apocalypsis,

the apocalypse, the unveiling of Jesus Christ. It's a book

about Jesus which God gave him. God gave it to

Jesus to show his servants, which must shortly take place,

and he sent and signified it in the Hebrew and

the Greek. It means to place it into symbolic form

by his Angel to a servant John, who bore witness

to the Word of God.

And here's what John bore.

Witness to and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, to

all things that he saw. John was an apostolic prophet,

and as such John testified to the whole world word

of God.

If a prophet arises, or someone rises and they start saying,

I saw that, and the Lord told.

Me this, and they contradict the Word of God in

their life, their practice, their character, and their.

Teaching, you can forget them.

True prophets, reflect upon and draw us back to the Bible,

the Word of God. And he says, so he testified

to the Word of God that had come before him.

But he also testified to what he saw as a prophet.

Jesus Christ interacted with John.

The Angel interacted with John, and out of that it

became the testimony of Jesus. The remnant church will have

the same gift at the time of the end, or

it's not the remnant church. John defines the testimony of

Jesus in Revelation nineteen, verse ten. Take your bibles and

turn there. And I fell at his feet to worship him.

That's the end Angel, probably Gabriel. John is so enamored.

But he said to me, see that you do not

do that. I am your fellow servant, and your brethren

who have the testimony of Jesus, worship God. For the

testimony of Jesus is and what does it call it?

There the spirit of prophecy, the spirit of prophecy. The

testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. John had

this gift because John was a prophet. The remnant church

will have the same gift. Because the remnant church will

have the gift of prophecy, God will raise up, according

to the Book Revelation, a remnant before the mark of

the Beast that has the prophetic gift that points people

back to the Bible. The prophetic gift arises at the

time of the end because the remnant church that goes

through the Mark of the Beast has needs all of

Jesus that.

They can get.

You see, the word of God is a two edged sword,

its previous revelation and its direct intervention. The testimony of Jesus,

just like God send a messenger. In John, God sends

a messenger for the last days to the remnant Church

John one, six and seven. There was a man sent

from God whose name was John. This man came for

a witness, to bear witness to the Light, that all

through him might be believed Their vice. Standard version says

he came for testimony, to have testimony of the Light,

that all through him might believe. The chiastic structure of

the Book of John indicates that this messenger here spoken

of was the apostle John. John came as the testimony

of Jesus. He is the last prophetic witness in the

New Testament. He bore witness to the Light. He's the

link to the future. Angels interacted with him as the

book Revelation was given as the Gospel of John, the

last book of the New Testament. The Gospel of John

was given before he died. When the Lord gives the

spirit of prophecy to his people, the Lord is leading

them to listen to the voice of Jesus. Very carefully,

Angels share the task with prophets to disclose the testimony

of Jesus. In Relation nineteen ten, the Angel says of

your brethren, I'm a fellow servant. And so a prophet

interacts with angels as they hear Christ's communication, and as

they see things that we would never see, and they

communicate that to others. Now there are phony prophets a

dime a dozen in the world today. The real ones

are very extraordinary. They hire humble people who make a

brilliant difference in the cause of God Relation nineteen ten.

In fact, the Corean Ephesians four, the true gift exists

to the very end. It is manifest in Joel two,

at the time of the end, when men and women

will call in the name of the Lord and the

whole planet will be enlightened with his glory. So this

gift is not limited to the Apostolic age. Revelation nineteen

ten is repeated in Revelation twenty two eight and nine.

Take your Bible's unturned there, but hear the phrase the

testimony of Jesus is replaced with the word prophets. The

testimony of Jesus is taken out exactly like Relation ten.

Everything is except instead of testament of Jesus, we have

the word prophets. Look at the verse with me verse eight.

Revelation twenty two. Now I John saw and heard these things.

And when I heard and saw, I fell down to

worship before the feet of the angel who showed me

these things. Then he said to me, see that you

do not do that, for I am your fellow servant

and of your brethren. And doesn't say testament of Jesus here,

what does it say the prophets? So the testimony of

Jesus is the manifestation of the prophetic gift. And he

goes on to say, and of those who keep the

words of this book worship God. So if you have

the testimony of Jesus, as the remnant church, there is

a true prophet that has been raised up, at least

one that God has interacted with so by to give

that church special guidance to come into existence. When true

prophets speak, and when they reveal what they have seen

and heard, the Bible teaches us that is the voice

of Jesus Christ in play. It is the testimony of Jesus.

And Revelation five five Jesus is the lamb of God.

How many of you want the lamb of God covering

your sins? I do.

I'm in that group. The Lamb of God. John one

twenty nine.

Behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin

of the world. But he's also the lion of the

tribe of Judah. In Revelation five, the lion is a lamb.

The lamb is a lion. And so the question is asked,

who can open the book, the document with seven seals

in God's hand as he sits in the most holy place,

on the celestial throne of the universe. Who can unlock

the Word of God the mystery for the future. The

lion is the key to the prophetic word of God

and the whole Bible.

It takes a lion to open the book.

You don't get the truths of God in your head

right unless Jesus opens.

Them for you to understand.

You don't get to Heaven unless God's word gets in you.

Revelation five five.

But one of the elders said to me, do not

we behold the lion of the tribe of Judah, the

root of David.

And who is the root of David Jesus.

But he's the lion of the tribe of Judah, because

he's the lion that came out of the line of David.

But he's not a lion because he's from David. It

says he has prevailed to open the scroll to lose

its seven seals because of the Cross. Christ is in

control of prophetic history. He's in control of our lives.

The Lamb of God is a lion, and only the

lion who is the Lamb, can open the sealed book

with seven seals. And the number seven is a very

important number of the Bible. Seven is the holy Spirit

number in the Bible. Did you know that seven is

the holy Spirit number. Jesus unlocks the power of the

Holy Spirit and the Word of God for his people.

The seventh day is the Holy Spirit Day. It's the

fact first day is not the Holy Spirit day. The

seventh day is. The Lamb has seven eyes here in

the context, and they are the seventh spirits of God,

the Holy Spirit, the complete spirit of God. That's what

the seven means. That opens the book. He opens the

book with seven seals. When the Lamb opens the Word

of God, the lion roars, the sun is the color

of what what's the color of the sun. Come on gold, honey,

what color?

Come on gold? The lion is the color of gold.

So the sun, honey and lion are wrapped together gold.

If I was given the choice of silver or gold,

what would you choose gold?

It would say lally gold. That's right.

These are three essential symbols for the living and a

body word of God.

That is the testimony of Jesus. And the very first

prophet in the Bible is Enoch.

He lives three hundred and sixty five days or years,

which is the cycle in days of the sun. It's

a solar cycle. Why because the first prophet is represented

as sunlight shining in the darkness of the pre flood world.

And Revelation one sixteen, Jesus face shines like the sun,

because Jesus is the living word of God that shines

with truth. Christ said, I am the light of the world.

John says in him was life, and the light was

the light of men. The light shines in the darkness.

Paul says that the light of the glory of God

shines in the face of Christ at creation and in

our lives through the Gospel. The light of God, the

gold of God is Jesus Revelation one sixteen. And he

had in his right hand seven stars, and out of

his mouth a sharp two edged sword, and his countenance

was like the sun, shining and shining in strength. And

Psalms one hundred nineteen one oh five. The Bible says

that God's word is a lamp and light. Christ is

the ultimate light, the ultimate lamp. His face shines like

the sun Revelation twenty one twenty three. In eternity, after

the wicked are destroyed, God's people will not need the

lamp of the sun or the moon, representing the Bible

really and the spirit of Prophecy, the greater and lesser lights.

Why because God and the Lamb, whose Jesus will be

their lamp and light, will have direct.

Contact with God and the Sun.

Jesus shares the glory of God, because Jesus is God.

That's a fact, and I'll prove it to you right

here in this discourse and Psalms nineteen eight to ten.

The commandments of the Lord are sweeter than honey. Look

at verse eight Psalms nineteen eight. The statues you know

this is a beautiful song.

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul.

Have you ever sing that song? How many of you

know it? When you come up and help me, shally,

I'm putting you on the spot. But I'm not as

good as singer as you are.

All right, let me try it.

The law of the Lord perfect, converting the soul.

The testimonies of the Lord are true. How's it go?

Thinking, waha's the sinple more to bedzie. They then go, yeah,

then much fine gold, sweeter war than honey and the

huny calm.

Okay, we got through it. But here, look, this is

what we're talking about in Psalms nineteen. The statutes of

the Lord are right right, rejoicing the heart see the sun.

The golden light of the sun represents joy. The command

of the Lord is pure and lightening the eyes light illumines.

The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever you

fear a lion. The judgments of the Lord are true

and righteous altogether. More to be desired, are they than gold?

He said, we don't want silver, We want gold, as Christians.

Yea much fine gold, sweeter also than honey, honey gold,

sweet gold, not just visual gold, and the honey comb

substance to it.

Moreover, by them, your servant is warned, and in keeping

them there is great reward.

We need God's law, We need Jesus the honey, the lion,

the sun.

The lamb is the lion because the Lord God is

the lion.

Jesus is brighter than the sun because Jesus has made

the sun, and he is the Truth, that is the

light that is God. Jesus is sweeter than honey because

Jesus is the Law of God. He is the Covenant

of God. He is the messenger of the Covenant Malachi three,

the living and abiding Word of God that Peter declares

him to be the Christ, the Messiah. Christ is the

gold and lion, because Jesus carries the gold that is

God in his very nature.

And when the lion roars, it is the testimony of Jesus.

But it's more than that, is the voice of Yahweh Jehovah,

God speaking through Jesus, because he is now. I'll prove

that to you Amos three to seven. Surely the Lord

God does nothing, and what does it say unless he

reveals his secrets to his servants the prophets. There is

no event in the plan of salvation without prophetic illumination.

One of the great evidences that the eighteen forties, the

end of the twenty three year prophecy is a correct

understanding by a prophecy. It's because there was prophetic activity

in the nineteenth century wrapped around the longest time prophecy

in the Book of Daniel.

Now look at verse eight.

The lion has roared, who will not fear? The Lord

God has spoken? Who can be prophesy? Now look at

Lord God in the King James version. Here in New

King James, you see Lord. You see God with all

capital letters.

Do you see that?

Here's the Hebrew ad deny Yahweh. The Lord Jehovah is

how that should be tryed. See the lion's voice, the

lion of the tribe of Judah, the lion that can

unlock the scroll can't be a created being.

He has to be the Lord.

Jehovah to unlock the future. So the testimony of Jesus

is the testimony of Jehovah Yahweh.

God in Jesus.

The Hebrew says literally the Lord Jehovah Aahweh in verses

seven and eight. The testimony of Jesus is God speaking

through Jesus. Because God was in Christ at the cross,

and He's in Christ always. C. S. Lewis portrayed Christ

as askedlad the Lion his Chronicles of Narnia series. Lucy

asked the beaver if Askedland the lion was safe, and

he said, of course he isn't safe, but he's kind

and good and wild as a wild lion. But he's

not a tame lion. Doctor Lewis was right. We don't

control Jesus in our lives. We submit to the wild

energy that is alive in the lion. When the lion roars,

the Lord Jehovah Yahweh speaks, and there is fear in trembling,

but there's kindness of love. The spirit of prophecy is

the testimony of Jesus, the lion roaring Christ speaking through

the prophets and Daniel twelve four of the prophet Daniel

predicted that his Book of Daniel would be shut up

and sealed until the time and the end when knowledge

of the prophecy would increase. You know, I know why

Satan tries to move on people to attack the study

of the Book of Daniel revelation, because he doesn't want

to be ready for the second coming of Christ. This

nonsense that somehow the study of the prophecies will diminish

our walk with Jesus is a set up for you

to be lost. A study of the prophecies rightly understood,

dear heart, deepens our love for Jesus.

It anchors us in the truth, in a good relationship

with God.

It prevents us from straying from the lion who is

a lamb Daniel twelve four. But you, Daniel, shut up

the words seal the book until the time of what

what does it say? Time of the end? So the

Book of Daniels for the time of the end. It

was not to be understood till our time. Many shall

run to and fro Acknowledge will increase now that many

there may be people.

But it's also angels angel.

Activity at the time of the end, helping people to

understand the unsealed Book of Daniel and the verses that follow.

A man dressed in white Lenin, who is the pre

existent Christ, stands over the waters of the stream. He

raises his hands to heaven, and he swears in verse seven,

by him who lives forever and ever, that the Book

of Daniel will be unsealed at the end of twelve

hundred and sixty years. A time prophecy in the Book

of Daniel that comes to an end in the spring

of seventeen ninety eight in the French Revolution, when the

French Revolutions attack upon Christianity opened up interest in prophetic

study of the Book of Daniel and the man in

Lenin who's over the waters is Jesus who walked on

the water. In the Testament, Christ is sealing the Book

of Daniel for the time of the end. And Daniels

told that those who follow God at the time of

the end, those who are wise, they will understand.

Look at Daniel twelve nine and ten.

He said, go your way, Daniel, for the words are

closed up and sealed to what time? What does it

say in your Bible? Time of the end, many shall

be purified, made white, and refined. The wicked shall do wickedly.

How many of the wick will understand?

What does it say?

None of them will understand. I don't want to be

in the wicked group. I want to be in the

wise group. They're in a church in Relation twelve seventeen

keeps the commandments of God, and that's why it is

not in the wicked group.

It's not a wicked church.

It may not be a perfect church because it needs

to be purified in Daniel twelve. But it is not

a wicked church because in Revelation twelve seventeen, it keeps

the commandments of God. None of the wicked will understand it,

only the wise. And you realize you can't keep the

commandments of God. If you reject the revelation of Jesus,

you diminish Jesus in your life, and you're not a

commandment keeper. The wise are defined as those who keep

the commandments of God.

In relation in twelve seventeen.

Now we don't see this man in Lenin again who

seals the Book of Daniel until Revelation ten verse one,

the verses that our children read. Christ appears here prophetically

interacting with his church just after the year of seventeen

ninety eight, at the end of the twelve and sixty years,

and he is interacting with the church with the open

Book of Daniel, not closed, but opened. He appears just

in time with the unsealed book in his hand to

guide his church out of the wilderness and to prepare

a people for the coming of the Lord. Revelation ten

verse one, I saw still another mighty angel coming down

from heaven cloth with a cloud.

Now in the Old Testament. The Angel of the Lord

is the Lord. Did you know how many of you

knew that?

See if you don't written, John Calvin knew it, John

Wesley knew it.

Luther knew it.

Bad Bible students today don't know it because they don't

study their bad The Angel of the Lord, who is

the Lord, God and Angel formed, that was the pre

existing Christ. He carried the divine named Jehovah, but he

was the Angel of the Lord at the burning bush,

says in a rainbow was on his head Ezekiel one imagery.

His face was like the sun revelation ie imagery. His

feet like pillars of fire and fire. He's the one

in the pillar of fire in cloud. You gotta be

God to be in the pillar of fire and cloud.

He had a little book open in his hand. That's

the Angel of Revelation of Daniel twelve.

That seals it.

And he set his right foot on the sea, his

left foot on the land. And he cried out with

a loud voice. And you're looking at the Bible with me,

as when what roars? What does it say? As when

a lion roars? Let's practice with me? Can you help

All right, all right now when the lad roars, who's speaking?

It's the testimony of Jesus. And he cried out with

a loud voices, when a lion roars, And when he

cried out, the seven thunders uttered their voices. In the

Old Testament, friends, Jesus is the angel of Jehovah. Who

is Jehovah Here in Revelation ten, he is wrapped in

a white cloud, like the man in Lenin is wrapped

in white and Dane twelve. He's in the cloud because

Jesus was in the cloud that led Israel out of Egypt.

That is a new exodus. At the time of the End,

God is leading his people out of the wilderness as

he is forming the remnant Church. At the end of

the Middle Ages, when the Book of Daniel is unsealed

and Revelation ten, Jesus Christ is leading his people out

of the captivity of the Middle Ages, out of the wilderness.

The rainbow is over his head because Jesus is God.

You see in Ezekiel one twenty six twenty eight it

says the rainbow was over the head of the Lord

Jehovah God. You can't have that rainbow unless you have

divine credentials. That means that the remnant church would come

to know that Jesus Christ is Yahweh Jehovah God with.

The rainbow over his head.

That's why a view that somehow it's orthodox to believe

that Jesus is not that does not fit the scripture

revelation to in with one foot on the land and

the sea. He cries out with a loud voice like

a lion rory because he is the lion of the

tribe of Judah, the lion.

Who is Jehovah Yahweh God that speaks.

In Ames three seven to eight, Jesus is telling us

that the gift of prophecy is given at the time

of the end, when the Book of Daniel is unsealed,

so God's people can come out of the wolderness and.

Go to Heaven.

God intervenes at the time of the end. He sends

a messenger, and I have recognized by the study of history.

Three prophetic witnesses around the year eighteen forty four, two

before and one after the Lord roars and the testimony

of Jesus. And when the Lion roars, God raises up

prophets who testify to the word of God and what

they have seen, and they point to the very prophecy

on the edge of fulfillment. They bear witness to the

truth that is in play, so God's people are prepared

for the future. The lion is golden, the sun is golden,

the honey is golden. All three are found in Revelation ten.

Revelation ten describes the great disappointment of eighteen forty four,

when the last and longest time chronology of Daniel Daniel

eight fourteen ran out twenty three hundred years from the

autumn of four to fifty seven BC. It came to

the autumn of four to fifty seven of eighteen forty four,

and then prophetic time ended, And that was the year

when the whole world was mobilized, in the Christian world

at least by the study of the Book of Daniel

after the French Revolution, and in the Americas and other places,

they were wanting Christ to come because a shift had

occurred in christian The twenty three hundred Your Time Property

post millennial thinking that Christ would come one thousand years

to a correct pre millennial expectation for the soon coming

of Jesus after the Book of Dan was unsealed at

God's word is gold and sweet as honey. Because honey

is gold, it represents wisdom in Proverbs eight. In Revelation

twelve five, Christ as the Angel of the Lord who

is the Lord. Actually Revelation ten five, Christ is the

Angel Lord who is the Lord, swears by God, just

like the man in Lenin did in Daniel twelve seven

when he sealed the book it's the same angel you's

seeing Dan twelve. Christ is sealing the book. In Revelation ten,

he's unsealing the book. Very similar here he has just

unsealed it. In fact, in verse seven he swears by

Him who lives forever and ever, just like he swore

by Him who lives forever and ever in Danel twelve seven.

But he here he swears that the Gospel would go

out to the world in the days of the seventh Trumpet,

just as God swore to his servants of the prophets

that prophetic truth would be fulfilled.

At the time of the end.

The whole world would be illumined with the Gospel, empowered.

By the blaze of the Book of Daniel.

In Revelation ten seven, this mighty angel is Christ, announces

the end of prophetic time. That is the end of

the twenty three hundred year Godzone prophecy that came to

eighteen forty four in the Book of Daniel. Eighteen forty

four is the year that corresponds to the heavenly time

when Jesus was carried into the presence of his father

God inside the most holy place. In the pre advent

Judgment of Daniel, seven. He comes before the ancient days

to receive his kingdom, one name at a time, as

he confesses his people before his father. Based on the

Cross from Adam to the end here on earth, the

Bible predicted a harsh experience for God's people, as that

event began in the Second Great Awakening at the end

of the Great religious Awakening in America that was really

part of a global awakening. The Great Advent Awakening was

in play the Book of Daniels being studied. People were

expecting Christ to come. They had a misunderstanding of that verse.

And out of the pain of disappointment was born the

Remnant Church Revelation ten nine and ten. So I went

to the angel and said him, give me the little book.

He said to me, take and ed it, and it

will make your stomach bitter, but it will be a

sweetest honey in your mouth. Then I took the little

book out of the angels and ate it, and it

was sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I

had eaten it, my stomach became bitter. John here's a

symbol of the people that would understand the unselling the

Book of Daniel. In the Millerite movement, the Second Great Awakening.

The Book of Daniel was vigorously studied by Christians of

many faith traditions, in fact, all over the world. Joseph Wolfe,

Missionary of the World, testified before the US Congress that

he believed the end of the world was coming around

the year eighteen forty four, based on Daniel eight. Based

on dayly late fourteen, thousands of Christians came to believe

that Jesus Christ would come again in that year. In fact,

they figured out correctly that the day of Atonement, that is,

the cleanse of the sanctuary referred to in Dani Lay fourteen,

would end exactly in October twenty two, eighteen forty four,

And that has been verified by scientific evidence and by

the evidence of the lunar cycles that were commuted through

the Charaites to the modern time. That was a correct

date for the day of Atonement that year. And they

thought the sanctuary was the world. They didn't realize it

was a sainctury in heaven, and so they reasoned incorrectly

that the world would be cleansed by fire in October

twenty two, eighteen forty four, when Jesus we return. Now

William Miller was a Baptist, There were Presbyterians, there were

Aryan Christian Connectionists.

There are all kinds of.

People wrapped up in that movement. The Seventh Day Avidist

movement was not born yet at that time, but these

dear Christians from these different faith traditions wanted Jesus to

come friend. It is clear and significant that the Bible

predicted the Great Disappointment of eighteen forty four in Revelation ten.

Revelation ten four shows us that the lion roars in

the seventh thunders as the book is sealed up. That

means God allowed the Great Disappointment of eighteen forty four.

He didn't allow them to understand everything. He didn't allow

them to see what would happen until after the fact.

And so out of the ashes of the Great Disappointment

of eighteen forty four, the Seventh day Adventist Church arose

as the remnant Church of the Book of Relation, born

out of pain with a prophetic message the Three Angels

Messages of Revelation fourteen. The only church on earth that

is global that can trace its origin to the Great

Disappointment of eighteen forty four. The Bible says, the remnant

Church keeps the commandments of God. It has to be

a Seventh day church. It has to keep the Sabbath

for that to be true. And it has the testimony

of Jesus. It has to have had prophetic testimony in

its origin, in its rise Revelation ten eleven, here's the

description of what comes out of the Great Disappointment of

eighteen forty four. And he said to me, you must prophesy.

And what's the word again? That means you got it

wrong the first time.

You got to get it right now.

But not local, global about many people's nations, tongues, and kings.

A global prophetic movement arises out of the ashes of

the bitter Disappointment of eighteen forty four. The group that

came out of the Great Disappointment eighteen forty four was

focused on the Second Company of Christ. Why because it

loved Jesus. It wanted to go home to be with Jesus.

It didn't say what can I get by with? It

says what can I do to obey and love Jesus?

And thus became a commandment at keeping church many many

of the children of that movement today are described as

the Church of Leediesea. In the Book of Revelation. And

that's a group that doesn't have Jesus, but thanks they

have the truth. That group, the latest Seins, need his

white robe to cover their nakedness. They can't even affirm

the righteous of Christ. You know, I don't I appreciate

any prayer and sincerity, but I notice how hard it

is for some people to play in pray in Jesus' name,

you know, in thy name, that's okay.

But God said, pray in Jesus name. What Because we

need Jesus.

They need the gold refined by fire to appreciate the

prophetic word to have faith. The church that needs Holy

Spirit is sab to see thanks it sees, and the

white robe of Christ righteous is to be saved. We

can't improve on the gospel that the Reformers dug out

of the I hear people come along. Well, you know

we're because we're the seventh avnsh church. You know, we

have a better gospel. We don't have any other different

gospel than the Apostolic Gospel, which is the everlasting Gospel

which the Reformers went to the flames to die for.

We can't improve on it. We can't reinvent it. It

is the everlasting Gospel. God has given this church the

testimony of Jesus so we can embrace the Bible and

its truths and go home. That gift is a lesser

light that leads to the greater light. You may have

been born into the right Church, dear heart, but unless

Jesus has his hold on your heart, no church is

going to save you, including the remnant Church. We all

need to lie on with this roar. We need to

submit to the word of God in our lives to

wake us up so we can believe and understand the

prophetic word of God. Shortly after the Great Disappointment eighteen

forty four, a young teenage girl, I mean, if you're

a teenager, raise your hand. Teenagers anitya hands eye got

a few here, Okay, yes, now think about this. Shortly

after the Great disappointm eighteen forty four, a young teenage

girl named Ellen Gould Harman was given a vision where

she saw the advent people right after eighteen forty four

on a path high above the world, following Jesus to

the Golden City. I like to share with you a

portion of that vision. This young girl was called by

Jesus Christ to help raise up the remnant church. As

a small teenager. She would live out her life to

the age of eighty seven. She'd become one of the

most profound writers in human history. She's, if not the

most prolific woman writer of theology and the Bible in history.

Would affect the global health reform movement. Education reform around

the world. Would lead people to stand for the Word

of God. When theologians all over the world say that

Sabbath is done away with the Law has gone away

with this hate. Little girl who had no formal education

would be empowered by Jesus to lift up the Law

of God with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to

show there is no disparity there one in Christ and

that the power of her writings, millions of people have

been converted to Jesus Christ. But she would never take

the lry to herself. When she last time she spoke,

her name became Ellen White because she married James White

after her husband had died. Her life ministry was coming

to a close. She came to the General Conference session

nineteen oh one. She stood before the church that God

had raised up, and she said, I commend to you

this book and sat down and never spoke again in public.

I'd like to share a portion of that vision she

had as a teenager. It is found in the book

Early Writings. She says, as God has shown me the

travels of the advent people to the Holy City and

the rich reward given those who wait the return of

their Lord from the wedding, it may be my duty

to give you a short sketch of what God has

revealed to me. The dear saints have many trials to

pass through, but our light afflictions, which are but a

moment for a moment, will work for us a far

more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. She's just a

teenager writing like this. While we look not at the

things which are seen, for things which are seen or temporal,

but the things which are not seen are eternal. I

have tried to bring back a good report and a

few grapes from the heavenly Canaan, for which many would

stone me, as the congregation bade stone Caleb and Joshua

for their report. But I declare to you, my brethren

and sisters, and the Lord, it is a goodly land,

and we are well able to go up and possess it.

While I was praying at the family altar, the Holy

Ghost fell upon me, and I seem to be rising

higher and higher, far above the dark world. I turned

to look for the Advent people in the world, but

could not find them, when a voice said to me,

look again, and look a little higher. At this I

raised my eyes and saw a straight and narrow path

cast up high above the world. On this path, the

Advent people were traveling to the city, which was at

the farther end of the path. They had a bright

light set up behind them at the beginning of the path,

which an angel told me was the Midnight Cry. Now

the Midnight Cry historically was October twenty two, eighteen forty four.

It was the end of the twenty three hundred year

prophecy of Daniel. So that light was shining from behind them,

helping them to see Jesus and move forward. This light

shone all along the path and gave light for their

feet so that they might not stumble. And if they

kept their eyes fixed on Jesus, who was just before

them leading them to the city, they were safe. But

soon some grew weary and said the city was a

great way off, and they expected to have entered it

before then. Jesus would encourage them by raising his glorious

right arm. And on his arm came a light which

waved over the band, and they shouted Allelujah. Others rashly

denied the light behind them, and said it was not

God that had led them out so far. The light

behind them went out, leaving their feet in perfect darkness,

and they stumbled and lost sight of the mark and

of Jesus, and fell off the path down into the

dark and wicked world below. She goes on to describe

the second coming of Jesus, the resurrection of the dead,

our entrance into the heavenly Jerusalem. She describes a good

land of never fading flowers, the land of milk and honey,

with Jesus and the Father the angels waiting for us

to come home. She ends this vision of the heavenly

glory tearfully. She was sad that she had to leave

the heavenly glory in vision to come back down here

to Earth to tell the story. She said, Soon we

heard his lovely voice again, saying, come, my people. You've

come out of great tribulation and done my will suffered

from me. Come to supper, for I will gird myself

and serve you. We shouted Adilijah glory, and entered into

the city. And I saw a table of pure silver,

and it was many miles in length, yet her eyes

could extend over it. I saw the fruit of the

Tree of Life, the man of almonds, figs, pomegranates, grapes,

and many other kinds of fruit. I asked Jesus to

let me eat of the fruit. He said, not now,

those who eat of the fruit of this land go

back to earth no more.

But in a little while.

If faithful, you shall both eat of the fruit of

the Tree of Life and drink of the water of

the fountain. And he said, you must go back to

the earth again and relate to others what I have

revealed to you. That an angel bore me gently down

to this dark world. Sometimes I think I can stay

here no longer. All things of earth look so dreary.

I feel very lonely here, for I have seen a

better land. Oh that I had wings like a dove,

than I would fly away and be at rest. Friend,

God has given the testimony of Jesus to our church,

so we can go home. I would highly recommend that

you read the Conflict of the Ages series, the book

Steps to Christ Christ's object lessons. The book Great Controversy

is the one book that God has given us to

help us understand Revelation thirteen. To prepare for the mark

of the Beast. Do not deny yourself the good things

of God. When you treasure the gift of the spirit

of prophecy, that is the testimony of Jesus, you are

really treasuring Jesus and the Bible because it points to him,

it points back to the Bible. Jesus is the golden Lion.

Jesus face shines like the golden sun, and Jesus is

the gold in law and the golden Word of God.

That is sweet as honey. The lion has roared.

Who can but prophesy The true Son has shown, and

he is sweet as honey. Dear Father, thank you for

working with a very weak group of people who came

out of the Great Disappointment of eighteen forty four, who

didn't have college degrees, who were farmers, many of them uneducated,

kind of like the Disciples two thousand years earlier, but

who were willing to listen to the prophetic teaching.

The Book of Daniel and get it right.

We owe so much to these dear people who suffered

in pain to birth the remnant Church. And Father, help

us not to be late at sea and like or

we're so arrogant that we have it all together, that

we talk about prophecy and we leave Jesus out, and

we take the law of God and we teach it

as a standard, but not as a person. Father, take

that out of our experience. We need the pure milk

of the word of God. And Father, I pray that

various ones here would take the challenge. In my own experience,

at the age of fifteen, I learned to read these

wonderful spirit of Prophecy books. I would not have gained

a knowledge of the Bible without the conflict of the

Age of series. The desire of age is great controversy,

Christ object lessons. Thank you for Alan Halleck, God who

and the Lord and buy me those books so I

could grow. Father, we've had newly baptized young people here

who don't have those books.
