What Do You Have To Give

Thank you, Thank you for participating in our worship this morning.

Do you enjoy this time when our children had the

opportunity to read the.

Bible for us.

You know this is a special opportunity and I'm sure

that they appreciate this special moment and we can enjoy

that time. Let me tell you something. We need to

pray for our children and we need to help them

to come close to the Bible, to read the Bible

by themselves, to learn to read the Bible, and to

have a personal experience with the Lord. Every person needs

a personal experience with the Lord. And we need to

pray for what is happening around the world. We need

to pray for the church missions fulfilling. You know that

Church is fulfilling his mission her mission.

Around the world.

I can tell you many stories about what is happening

in the world. Just recently last year, we have the

Special Crusade there.

In Papua and New Guinea.

Some of you have heard about that where too many

preachers were there. Thousands of preachers were there, thousands and

thousands of people came to listen every day God's word

for our speakers, and they decided to accept Jesus. Let

me tell you, my brothers and sisters, I really believed.

That the spirit of the Lord.

Is working around the world, is moving in different places.

You know.

Do you know how many people has been baptized during

last year till now. They're in Papua and in Guinea.

Can you imagine a number thousands, more than six hundred

thousand people have been baptized. Let me tell you something.

I really believe that this is the work of the

Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is moving.

Around the world. I had opportunity to went last.

Year to Uganda and I participated in a crusader. You

know easyd Is Central African Division also had hundreds of crusades,

thousands of crusades and more almost two hundred thousand has

been baptized. I had a privilege to preach in a

place called Kayansi between Enteve and Kampala there in Uganda,

and it was a special experience for me to see

how every day hundreds of people came to hear God's war.

As I was presenting the message.

It was in a soccer field, an open place. There

was a platform and then there were some places for

the people who can't be seated. That place was a

place where they before was not a church. But now,

by God's grace, there is a church. Two hundred and

five people were baptized in that place. But God's grace,

God is moving.

Around the world.

I had an opportunity to visit Peru a few last year.

I had an opportunity to be there there and then

I saw how the Lord is working there in Peru

as well. You know, a group of young people take

the decision to pray for the Lord to guide them

to establish a new church in a place which was

had been trying to establish a church for more than

twenty years and they had got almost nothing in that place.

In that city, only two people.

Became how became Adventists in twenty years.

It really difficult, a challenging city.

But this group of young people from our university in

Peruvian Union University, they decided that they will establish a

new church in that place.

Let me tell you what they do. They did.

They take time to pray, They pray for the Lord

to show them what to do, and after praying, they

decided that they will establish a Pathfinder's gluve in that

place where there was not a church before. And then

they went to that place a group of young people.

They began to busy their homes and to reclude, to

invite the children to be part of a path Finder's club.

And then they established that strong Pathfinders club in that

place where they're the only people who were seven.

They Adventists were the young.

People who came to establish the Pathfinder's Club and those

two members who already were there. Let me tell you,

by God's grace, two years after they had established a

church in that place. God is working around the world,

and God is answered prayers. Because God answers prayers. We

need to trust in the Lord, and we need to

give him the place. We need to exalt Jesus in

everything we do. We need to speak about Jesus. We

need to tell others about Jesus. We need to tell

the story how Jesus not just transformed the life of

those in his time, but how Jesus is transforming lives today.

Even in some Muslim countries there are conversions. Hundreds and

hundreds of Muslim people are becoming part of the Lord's people.

In this time, God is working around the world.

The Holy Spirit is moving around the world, and the

Holy Spirit is moving as well in Reging's Hearts International

Seven day Adventist Church. Do you believe that, yes, the

Holy Spirit is moving here, and the Holy Spirit is

inviting each one of us to open our hearts to

His influence, to the Holy spirit influence, to do what

is at.

Our hands to represent him.

I travel a lot, but I know the Lord is

working here, and I pray for riching hearts. I pray

for reaching hearts almost you know, my wife's are regularly here.

But I travel, but I know the Lord is working here.

This morning, I invite you to open your Bibles with me.

Let's open our Bible in Acts, chapter three, verses one

to ten. Acts Chapter three, verses one to ten.

What God's word said.

Now, Peter and Johan went up together to the temple

at the hour of prayer the ninth hour, and a

certain man, laying from his mother's wamp was carried, whom

they laid daily at the gate of the temple, which

is called beautiful to ask auns from those who enter

the temple, who, seeing Peter and Joan about to go

into the temple, ask for auns, and fixing his eyes

on him with John, Peter said, look at us. So

he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

Then Peter said, silver and gold I do not have.

But what I do have, I give you in the

name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Rise up and walk.

And he took him by the right hand and lifted

him up, and immediately his feet and uncle bones received strength.

So he leaping up.

Stood and walked and entered the temple with them, walking,

leaping and praising God. And all the people saw him

walking and praising God. Then they knew that it was

he who has gussad big begging alms at the beautiful

gate of the temple. And they were filled with wonder, amazement,

and amazement at what had happened to him. I invite

you to read again verse seven and eight. And he

took him by his right hand and lifted him up,

and immediately his feet.

And uncle bones received strength.

So he, leaping off, stood and walked and entered the

temple with him, walking, leaping and praising God. Let me

tell you, my brothers and sisters, these verse of the

Bible tells us.

What the purpose of mission is, what the purpose of

the church is, what the purpose of preaching is, the

purpose of preaching is that every person.

Have a personal experience with the Lord, that every one

learned to walk with the Lord by his own or

her own feet. God wants you to have a personal

experience with him. God wants us to have a personal

experience with him. You need to walk with Jesus personally.

And you, and you and you, we all need to

walk with Jesus in a personal experience with him. We

need also an inspiration of those who have learned to

walk with Jesus. We need to learn to walk with

Jesus to share Jesus with others, as Peter and John

did in the story we have read today. I invite

you to see verse one again, Acts Chapter three.

Verse one.

Now Peter and John went up together to the temple

at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour.

Can you see what time.

Is the time when Peter is in the temple Peter

and John is the nine the hour of prayer, the

nine hour. There are there were at least two different

types of prayer for.

Israel, Israel for us. You know, in the.

Old sanctuary, there was a practice they used to pray

at the hour, the three hour, at the ninth hour.

The three hour is the ninth of the sacrifice of.

Morning, and the nine hour the.

Time to present a special sacrifice, the.

Hour of the letter sacrifice. You know, in the.

Sanctuary, they used to pray, especially at that time, use

turned their face to Jerusalem. Some of them prayed three

times as Daniel. You know, Daniel used to pray three times.

More sure, he prayed at the three hour, the sixth hour,

and a nine hour. It was time to present the sacrifice,

and then they prayed. But for use, that experience became

a routine. You know, prayer could become a routine for you.

And when prayer is a routine, it lost its power.

When prayer become a routine in your life, prayer lost

its power. But when you learn to walk with Jesus,

and when prayer is part of your walking with Jesus,

then you find power in prayer.

There is power in prayer. Peter and John.

Were at the right time, in the right place, with

the right purpose. They were in the place of prayer,

they were in the time of prayer.

They were there to meet with Jesus. They not John.

They were there to.

Have an encounter with Jesus, a special encounter that can

be transformative in their lives. They want to represent Jesus

in everything they do. And now when there are there,

Verse two says certain men learn from his mother's warm

was carried to that place, a man who was lame

from his mother's wants.

Let me tell you.

There are too many people who come to the church

not because they own decisions, but because someone have helped

them to come. There are too many people who need

help to come to worship the Lord, to come to

the place of place of worship, and they come there

to receive something. They want to receive something. Let me

tell you something else. We all have be worn.

Spiritually lame. We are spiritually lame.

We all are sinners, but we all need to have

that special encounter with Jesus to be restored, to be recreated.

That man was there.

Asking for arms, extending his hand to say, please help me,

give me something, give me a cond please.

Give me some money. I need your hub.

Every person who comes to the church hope to receive something,

and we need to understand that there are too many

people in it, and we need to discover how to

supply the need they have to help them to fight

that way what they need.

Burse three.

Seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple

as for arms and fix his eyes on him with John,

Peter said, look.

At us, fixing his eyes on him?

With John. Peter said to the lamb looked at us.

You know this is a special expression, fixing his eyes

on him?

What it says to you that expression?

How important is to see those who are in it?

How important is to to to learn to walk as

Jesus did. You know when Jesus walked in his ministry

on this earth, he walked with open eyes. You can

see how Jesus walking so someone who was there, you know,

sick and he healed him. Jesus walked with open eyes.

He saw a crowd and he decided to take actions

to help them. We need to learn to walk like

us with open eyes to discover that needs are out

around us. Peter and John were walking with open eyes,

and they saw the lame Man.

Not just he saw them, but they saw him.

They open their eyes, they look at them at him.

Then we need all sorts to do the same. But

I really as are amazed to see what Peters Peter did.

Peter did verse four, He said to the lamb, look

at us, look at us?

Why look at us? Why look at us?

It's not easier to say look at the temple, or

to say they look at the nature.

God is the creator of everything.

Look the heaven, look the trees, look the bird, look

the beasts. It's easier to say that. But Peter I

joh't say look at us? Why look at us?

Why? You know why?

Because they know they need to represent the Lord in

their lives. They know that they need to represent Jesus in.

Their own life. Look at us.

Is a challenge to every one of us, because we

have the challenge to live like Jesus, to represent Jesus

in everything we do, in the way we try others.

We are to represent Jesus.

And Peter and John said to the lamb, look at us.

What.

Do the people see in us? What are you reflecting

to the people? What are you reflecting to your family?

You know, parents, we need to represent Jesus before our children.

Husbands need to represent Jesus before her wives his wives,

and wives need to represent Jesus before her husband. We

need to represent Jesus around of us, to all those

who are around of us. We need to live like Jesus.

That's the challenge we have that's something beyond our powers.

We can't do that by yourself. What we need to

learn to pray, we need to come before the Lord

and to surrender our heart to him, to surrender our

lives to them, to say, as the Special Song.

Said, I surrender.

Oh, we need to surrender before the Lord in prayer.

We need to surrender before the Lord every moment.

We need to put our lives in the God, in

the Lord's hands, that we can represent him. The only

one who can transform our lives and make thus like

Jesus is the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit is

ready to do that. Peter and John say to the Lamb, look.

At us verse five.

Son he gave them his attention, expecting to reach see

something from them. Then Peter said, silver and gold I

do not have.

Silver and gold I do not have. But what I do.

Have, I give you in the name of Jesus Christ

of Nazareth. Rise up and walk. What do you have

to give? What do we have to give? What do

we have as church to give? What that rich in

Harts International Seven day Adventist Church has to give? What

do you have to give? We can't give what we

have not And let me tell you gold and silver

are valuable. If you think money has no value, you

go to the store and you will discover that it

has value. You know, if I go to the store

and I try to take something without paying for that,

you know what, I will face prison because money has value.

You know, dollars has value. But what you can buy

with dollars, what you can buy with money?

Everything is temporary.

Everything you can buy with money only temporal things.

You can buy a house, but you can't buy a home.

You can buy medicine, but you can't buy help. You

can buy pleasure, but you can't buy happiness. You can't

buy Let me tell you even you can buy a church,

but you can't buy salvation.

That's free.

That's special and more valuable that gold and silver.

I really silver and gold.

I really appreciate how Peter how Uh look wrote this passage.

He says silver and gold. Can you say silver is valuable?

But God is more valuable than silver? Silver and gold.

I have no silver, I have not gold. Then what

do you have? What do you have to give me?

And then he say, in the name of Jesus Christ

of Nazareth, he has not silver, he has not gold,

but he has Jesus. The disciples has no silver nor gold,

but they have Jesus, and they were.

Ready to share Jesus.

My brothers and sisters, do we have Jesus? Do we

have Jesus? If we have not, he is available. He's

available to come into our hearts. He wants us to

have him, to share him with others. He wants us

to share his love with others. Peter said to the lame,

I give you what I have. What I do have,

I give you Jesus in the name of Jesus of Nazareth,

Rise up and walk.

Verse seven.

And he took him by his right hand and lifted

him up, lifted him up.

He took him by the right hand.

I want to ask you, was there power in Peter's hand?

Was a power in peter hands more than in my

hand or in your hand?

Where was the power? Where was the power in Jesus?

The power is in the Lord.

But you know what Peter did is what every one

of us must do.

We need to do.

We need to extend our hand. He extends his hands

to the lame. Have you heard that expression, give me

a hand, Give me a hand. If someone tell you,

give me a hand. What is he or she asking you.

Help? Help me? I need your help.

The lamb needs help, and Peter give the lame the

help he needs. He extends his hand to him.

He took him by his hand.

We need to understand how important is as church to

extend our hands. We need to understand how important is

a church to open the doors of the church to

the community. We need to understand how important is for

us to have Jesus. And when Jesus is in our heart,

we cannot extend our hands. We can have all the

when and when we have then the miracle can happen

when we extend our hands. The miracle can happen. When

Peter extends his hands. He opened the opportunity for the

miracle to happen, and the miracle he came.

Verse seven.

He took him by his right hand and lifted.

Him up, and immediately.

His fin and uncle bones received strength on the Only

the Lord can strength strengthen those who are weak.

Only the Lord can.

Restore ward our host are those who are lame. Only

the Lord can heal the soul, And He's ready to

heal our soul when we extend our hands. He's ready

to do the miracle and thenver verse eight.

So he leaping off, stood and walked.

And entered the temple with him walking, leaping and praising God.

He extends the hand.

The Lord did the miracle the lambressol and jump.

Jump jump, not by Peter's power, but by the Lord's power.

He entered the temple, not worshiping Peter and John. He

entered the temple, into the temple.

Praising Jesus, praising.

The Lord, because all the praise is only for the Lord.

When a soul is converted with a man or a

woman is transformed, is only for God's intervention.

That glory is only for the Lord.

Everyone needs to walk with Jesus. We need to extend

our hands to children. We need to extend our hands

to lead to women, to men. We need to extend

our hands to those who around us.

We need to see the needs and try to supply

the needs of others.

And when we do that, the Lord will do the miracle.

And the final.

Purpose of mission is that everyone learn to walk with

a personal experience with the Lord. I have shared some

part of my experience with you here in this church.

I was born in a Christian home. My father and

my mother. They were Christians seven Day Adventists. My grandparents

also were. I am the third generation of a Christian

family seven Day Adventist.

I was born in a farm.

In that that Christian foe home was.

In a farm. My father was a farmer.

When I was seven years old, my father was invited

to become a litterer as an evangelist, and he became

a letterer as an evangelist.

A called porter.

When I was nine, he was invited to become a pastor,

and he was a pastor for thirty seven years. But

when he began his ministry and I was just a boy,

I studied. I finished a primary school, the elementary school

there in Palenti, Chiapas in in in in that city

of Mexico, and my parents decided that they went they

will send me to an academy to study in the academy.

Because there were too many challenges in the in the church,

in the schools in that city, many young people began

to to to smoke marie one another kind of drugs.

And then they decided that they will send me to

an academy, and and they I went to Linda Vista Academy.

But in the second in the second uh year when

I was to in the second year of a secondary school.

Thank you so much, thank you, my brother.

My father was sent to study a special course of

theology because when he became a pastor, he was a

lay member. As a lay member, he became a pastor.

Then when I was a student in that academy, they

sent my father to study and the same academy to study.

A special course of theology. Then every day that.

Year was I became, I came back to home and

I lived with my parents and we every day we

traveled from the town our house was to.

The to the academy. Every day.

My father went to take his classes and I to

take my classes and the secondary school. And then one

day I discovered that my father leave the school before

before I do, but he got home get home later

than I. And then I asked myself, why why is

my father getting home later than I, later than me?

And then I.

Decided that I will follow my father to discover why

he was doing that. We was getting later than than

I when he uh finished the clutches before I, and

then I decided to follow him. As I was following

him through a ruth on the wood road in the wood.

I saw he uh getting into uh an area under

some trees bushes on the wood. And then I came

to that place, and I right not to be discovered

my father by my father. And then I saw him

getting in in a beautiful space.

Of natural grass.

There was a big fig tree, you know, big tree,

a pine tree, a big one. And then my father

took a lot that was there, and then he came.

To that place.

I was just watching to him, looking what he was doing.

And then I saw him to get that place.

He takes his uh back and he put the back

and he kneeled in that place in the in the

midst of the wool, in the nature nature, and he

was there praying, and I was looking at him, watching

what he was doing. And I was thinking, maybe when

he finished to pray, and I will I will come

and I will try to show myself to him.

But when he finished to pray, he used opened his.

Back, and then he said he opened his bible, and

then he took time to read the Bible. I decided

not interrupt to him, interrupted him, and then I went

home and I forget. I forgot why my father was

getting lighter than me to the house.

Time passed.

I studied the secondary school, you know, high school, and

then I went.

To the university.

I finished theology, and then I went to my first

district as pastor. Many years after that experience, one day afternoon,

I was going to visit one of my churches there

and in the mountains, into the mountains, I was riding

a horse and suddenly I saw how the sun shined

in that place, and I decided that that was a

good place to take time to pray. Then I stopped

the horse and they I decided. I went to a

place that was clean, clear in that space, and then

I took a log.

And then I kneeled myself before the Lord.

And then I see I sat in that in that place,

and I opened my Bible, and I.

Had a person.

I experienced a Lord, A beautiful experience, really amazing experience

of encounter with the Lord in that place. It was

my own experience. It was not my father experience. I

saw him doing something something like that. But now what's

my experience, my personal experience with the Lord.

We all need a personal experience with the Lord.

We all need to learn to walk with Jesus. We

all need to learn to pray. We all need to

have Jesus as our friends. We all need to have

Jesus as our personal savior. We all need to get

to the point, as Peter and John to say, what

I do have I share with you?

What do you have to give? Do we have Jesus.

Jesus is ready to come into our hearts.

He is ready to fill our lives.

The Holy Spirit is ready to bring Jesus into your

life and to give meaning to your existence, to your life.

He's ready to bring Jesus to our life, give meaning,

give meaning to our lives. That we can share Jesus

with others, that we can stretch our hands, extend our hands,

help others, and then he will do the miracle.

My brothers and sisters, I want.

To invite you today to invite Jesus to come into

your heart. I want you to take that personal experience

with walk with Jesus, to consecrate yourself to the Lord

every morning, to take time to pray, to.

Take time to here Jesus with others. Let's learn to

walk as.

Jesus did, open our eyes to discover the needs that

are around us. Let's all, as Peter and John to say, others.

I am trying to represent Jesus I was.

You know, if you know my.

Story, you will see really how Jesus has transformed my life.

And then extend your hand and then the Lord will

do the miracle.

There will be people walking leaving.

Worshiping the Lord and ready to see Jesus coming soon.

Because Jesus is coming soon. It's time to walk with Jesus.

It's time to have a personal experience with Jesus. It's

time to tell others I have Jesus. I want to

share him with you. May the Lord help us to

live for Jesus, by Jesus and for him. Blessed be

the Lord's name is my wish for each one of you.

Let's pray.

Or Father in heaven, Blessed be your name, because you

are always ready to take attention, to pay attention to

our prayers, because you have looked at us, Lord, and

you have done everything for us to be said, thank

you for Jesus. We want to sing his love shown

to us on the cross. We want to represent Jesus

in everything we have and we do. We want to

have Jesus to give him to others. We ask Lord,

please may your spirit bring Jesus into our hearts. May

Jesus stay in our hearts and transform our lives from

glory to glory till the moment we meet you in heaven.

You know.

Your children here in reaching Hearts International Church. You know,

Lord than it's they faith. You know the wish of

our hearts. You know, Lord.

We want to represent you. We want to live for you.

We want to be ready while we we want to

have others to be ready to meet Jesus in his

second coming.

Lord, fill our lives with your holy spirit.

Continue to transform our lives. Make us Lord instruments of lessings.

Help us to open our eyes to discover the needs

around us. Help us to extend our hands to help

those who are in it.

And please, Lord, do the miracle feel this church of.

Those who recognize You as their personal savior. O Lord,

we will live from the temple today, but never from

your presence. May your spirit stay in our life. May

your presence feel our hearts, and.

May we.

Walk with you every moment according.

To your will. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen, Amen, Amen,
