Week 28: Scientology and the "Bridge" to Nowhere | February 15, 2026 Sunday School

Welcome. We're glad to have you today for

our Sunday school hour as we continue our study on

Scientology. Last week we talked about it

being the grift of salvation, of course, the word grift meaning

swindling, fraud. And we saw last week how that

certainly would be the case, how you could spend thousands upon

hundreds of thousands of dollars to try to go clear and how there

would not be any help. In fact, not only would you end

up being bankrupt, but it ended up sending you straight to hell.

And so we saw that last week and we'll be giving you some little

bit of a review here in just a moment.

But then also this week, I like the title of this week, it's

Scientology's Bridge to Nowhere. Because part of the bridge is

your way of being able to understand eternal values, your

way of understanding that you are a thetan.

The fact that you understand that you will live many, many

multiple lifetimes and how you want to go clear to be able to

understand how you can achieve what you want to achieve in this

life and the next lives that are to follow.

But that bridge is 1. Obviously, that leads to

nowhere. So just as review last week we

saw from our last, you know what, it really helps if I turn

the clicker on. All right, there we go.

Probably should do that before the class starts, but that's OK,

We're good. We saw that the founder of

Scientology was 1. L Ron Hubbard.

We talked about him last week, how he was a science fiction

writer. We saw that he was the most

interesting man in the world from that 10 minute video that

we saw last week. But we also saw that almost

everything in that video was a fabrication and outright lie and

exaggeration at best. But certainly there are many

outright lies, including the fact of his many exploits as a

younger person lying with stolen valor of his military career,

and then also just about the very founding of Dianetics

itself that it was something that was more of a self help.

But then when things went South and lawsuits started to pile up,

it became a religion. Why?

Because he was able to shield himself from a lot of different

laws and regulations by claiming First Amendment privilege.

As Scientology was a religion, We saw Dianetics was the sacred

texts of Scientology. We talked last week about that

volcano that's in front of the Dianetics books.

That that is the volcano that's being set off by an H bomb by no

other than Xenu in Eon's past and here in world history.

And again, his science fiction background, he was a fairly

prolific science fiction writer of a lot of the pulps back in

the 30s and into the 40s. And that idea really permeates a

lot of what goes into Scientology.

And that picture there represents that teaching of Xenu

from eons past here on Earth. But then the current leader of

Scientology is 1. David Miskevich.

He took over after L Ron Hubbard passed in the mid 80s.

He took over at a very young age, and since that time, he has

been the leader, only two leaders of Scientology for

around 75 years. Again, depending on how you

reckon the years, whether it started when Scientology was

officially called Scientology or going back to the beginning of

Dianetics, which would be over 75 years ago.

But yet David Miscavige is the leader today.

And again, there's a lot that you can link together,

particularly since Miscavige has been the leader, although there

were some of this issues during L Ron Hubbard's times as well.

You can see a lot of connections between organized crime and

Scientology. Not that there is a direct

connection between the mob and Scientology, but yet the very

resources that are used, the very methods that are used by

organized crime, you can find here at David Miscavige would be

the head of the group today. Then we saw some of the terms

that were unique to Scientology last week of the reactive mind.

Remember that you have some repressed memories, not just

from this life, but the lives that you have had previously

that have to be brought out. And those are N grams.

Those are the very, the very thoughts that come from those

areas that are rattling around within your reactive mind.

The the theaton. We'll see today how that works

with the bridge and how the OT levels that are there, the

operating theaton levels that help you to be able to find your

true self that you really can't understand now because of all

the jumbled mess of N grams that are going around down your

reactive mind. Well, how do you figure out what

those end grams are? The auditing process that we saw

just a little bit of it last week and we'll see a little bit

of it here this morning as well. But grabbing those cans and

we'll show you that picture right there of someone that is

in the auditing process. You have an auditor who has been

certified. They have gone through a special

portion of the bridge program to be able to become an auditor.

And then you have what's called the pre clear on the other side.

That would be the gentleman on the left who is holding the cans

and he is the pre clear, meaning he is wanting to go clear, but

yet he has to work through the reactive mind.

He has to work through those N grams first.

How do they do that? Again, the E meter and I watched

some very interesting videos on the E meter this week.

It's really a lot of smoke and mirrors to be quite honest with

you. I know that's a big surprise

everyone here, but the idea was that the E meter can help you

find these N grams and be able to bring them to the surface.

And it was. It's an interesting parlor

trick, if I'm to be honest with you.

One of the videos I watched this week was from 60 Minutes

Australia. And 60 Minutes Australia did

some very extensive undercover work on the Church of

Scientology over the last several years.

And there was a gentleman who had who used to be part of

Scientology very high up, but has left and has been very

involved. Mike Rinder with Leah Remini

about uncovering a lot of the issues of Scientology.

And he had the reporter hold those cans.

And he says, now I'm going to pinch you.

He says, now watch what happens when I pinch you.

And so he pinched her on the arm.

And about a second or two later, the E meter went up.

The idea, wow, there's some pain that's taking place.

And so he says, all right, well, that's what we would expect it

to be, wouldn't it? He says, now, let's just take a

minute and take a deep breath. And he says, now I want you just

to think about me pinching you. I want you to think about what I

just did to you a few moments ago.

And not the same level of the E meter going up, but the E meter

definitely went up to a certain degree.

It's just measuring simple electrical impulses.

And those auditors are then taking those things and then

being able to use them. Interestingly enough, the

auditors often times, depending on how high you go up into

Scientology, will take your confessions and then weaponize

them against you. They'll take all of these

different things that you say that you've been involved with

or done, and they will use those either as leverage against you

to keep you in Scientology, to keep you quiet about

Scientology, or they'll use that information out right with other

people to be able to keep you in line.

And so the E meter, as we see right here, is really nothing

more than smoke and mirrors. It's measuring some level of

electrical impulse in your body. But there is no type of

spiritual discernment that is taking place here at all.

In fact, what it's doing is it's really hiding the facts of what

the truth is in your life. And then finally, we looked at

last week very quickly of the issue of going clear, that once

you go clear that you are someone who has eliminated the

reactive mind once and for all. Those N grams have now been put

to the side. The reactive mind is quiet and

you can finally be your true self.

We saw that shortly after Dianetics was written, that L

Ron Hubbard said that the first clear was Sonia Bianchi in 1950.

But then 16 years later he changed the definition of what

it was to be clear. And the first clear was then a

South African man named John McMaster.

And if you'll remember, I'd mentioned at the end of the

lesson last week that three years later that he was no

longer in Scientology. So it obviously did not do

exactly what he thought it would do.

Advancement through this process takes thousands upon thousands

upon thousands of dollars up to hundreds of thousands of

dollars. That's why we call it the grift

of salvation. Interestingly enough, when you

take your first lesson on the bridge, it'll cost you $15.

Why is that? Well, because they want to get

you in while the getting's good and they want to make sure that

you can get in on the ground level.

But then as you go further, they dangle out this idea of eternal

life. They dangle out this idea of

having your soul to be preserved, the thetan to be

preserved. And they really make the pitch

to you. Well, what number of what amount

of money would not be enough for you to be able to, I mean, if

you're being dangled out to you, we, we say eternal life, we

think of heaven. Eternal life to them is his idea

of having consciousness of your previous lives and moving into

the next life with that consciousness as well.

If they're telling you, you can obtain this, I mean, you would

do whatever you could to be able to spend.

And they will do that and dangle that out and people will pay to

the hundreds of thousands of dollars, sometimes well over 1/4

of a million, up to a half, $1,000,000 of people are able to

do it. That's why Hollywood loves

Scientology, one of many reasons they have the pockets to be able

to do some of those things of which Scientology sells to them.

Well, that gets us to where we are this week.

And again, we're talking about the bridge to nowhere, but the

program of Scientology is the bridge to total freedom.

Now, as you see on the picture right here, it's a little bit

pixelated and you might wonder why it is, you might think past.

Were you not able to find a clear picture of this?

Is it kind of because it's hidden and it's not something

that's out there? And I would say to you, these

are easy to find online, but at the same time, they're not

proliferated throughout the Internet.

But yet the reason that it is kind of pixelated like it is, is

that is a much smaller photo of what the bridge would to total

freedom would actually look like at a Scientology center at a

Church of Scientology, because it's usually blown up several

feet far beyond what you see here.

And the reason you can tell, look at all the writing on here.

Look at all the steps. Now, if we're to tell someone

about salvation, in fact, we talked on Friday at our soul

winning conference about how easy it is to explain to someone

how they can receive eternal life and forgiveness of sins

through Christ their Lord. But yet here is the bridge to

total freedom. Can you see a little bit of a

difference between how easy it is to understand salvation?

In fact, the Bible says childlike faith is necessitated

for us to be able to understand salvation and this bridge to

total freedom. When you look at it and say,

wow, what do I need to do? How do I need to get there?

You'd like to learn more about the Bridge to total freedom from

the lips of L Ron Hubbard. There is an excellent video.

When I say excellent, I say excellent as it is the

explanation from his own lips. Not excellent because it's true,

but there's about a 35 minute lecture that you can find online

very easily. Just type in on YouTube.

L Ron Hubbard the bridge to total freedom and it should be

the first search to be able to pop up.

I watched a great deal of that last week, again in reference to

this today, and I thought it was too long for us to be able to

present here this morning. But I certainly would tell you

to look at it because again, the more you hear L Ron Hubbard in

his own voice, the more you recognize and realize this is

crazy. And I'm not saying that lightly,

but this is absolute crazy doctrine coming from the mind of

a sci-fi writer. That's what we're looking at

here. It was like someone watched Star

Trek and they said I watched three seasons of Captain Kirk

and Spock and let's make a religion out of it.

That's basically what Scientology is, and there's not

even any humor. And what I'm trying to tell you

right now, I'm not trying to make a joke.

I'm not trying to make light of it.

This is what Scientology is, that someone would literally

give their life to be able to live like a Vulcan, that someone

would give their life to live like a Jedi.

This is what you're seeing when you look at the bridge to total

freedom. And when you look at Scientology

now, the bridge to total freedom, as you can see, there

is entered into two different columns.

On the left column is the training column and the right

column is the processing column. Everyone will start on the right

side. Why?

Because they have to be able to process their own engrams.

They have to be able to process their own recessed mind before

they are able to go and become the auditor.

That other person you saw that was sitting in that room on that

photo we saw just a few moments ago?

Processing refers to auditing sessions where a person works

one-on-one with an auditor using the specific procedures as well

as the E meter holding on to those cans.

This is what they do. Now, the bridge is sequential,

meaning this. You can't just jump around and

pick whatever you want. You start from the bottom of the

bridge and you have to work your way up.

This is why you will find it in every Church of Scientology, in

every location you'll find it. It will be as big as the wall.

Why? Because you were to go to it and

you were to see where you are and to see where you're going.

And again, if you're starting on this bottom level over here,

you're paying 50, $15 a course, it's very reasonable for you to

get involved. Why?

Because you know, that worm on the hook is usually pretty

cheap, isn't it? But once it sets you, you

realize it's too late. That is the worm, that is the

hook, if you will, those $15 courses.

Now this is broken up into, first of all, the processing

column, the lower bridge. The lower bridge is the lower

end of the bridge and it's the introductory services.

Many of them are as low as $15 or in the low hundreds of

dollars. They are designed to introduce a

person to the system and demonstrate immediate personal

benefit. A lot of what's spoken of in the

lower bridge is really more what I would call mental work, of the

idea of trying to help someone, to have more self-confidence,

trying to help someone, one to be able to go into a situation,

to be able to handle themselves in a certain way.

There's certain things of it that are true.

There is basic truths involved, but the idea is always this.

The answer is inside of you. You just need to be more

confident. You need to repress those

engrams that are inside of you. Once you find them, you

eliminate them. You will become more confident.

They often are described the early stages as stabilizing and

improving life in measurable ways.

Like a lot of cults, the first few steps seem fairly

reasonable. They seem like they are not

something that is going to take you into the far depths of what

Scientology will end up taking you.

But this lower bridge can take you any amount of time, but it

can take you up to several years.

There is no way to know how long it is to get to that middle

section of the right column. You might not be able to read

much on that because again, it is fairly blurry because of the

size of what this should be. But you could probably see the

word clear right near the center on the right center side.

And that is where you to achieve that clear status.

It can take you quite a bit of time, but you will eventually

get to the state of clear or often just called going clear.

This is the first major milestone on the bridge.

According to the system, a clear no longer has their reactive

mind. Their N grams no longer

unconsciously influence the person's behavior.

The clear is now rational, self determined and free from hidden

mental distortions. That's why they would say any

kind of mental, mental illness, quote UN quote, under the large

umbrella of what they would consider mental illness.

You really just need to go clear.

That's really all it is. And that's why you might have

remembered a interview that Tom Cruise gave many years ago with

Matt Lauer on the Today Show where there was a really a

contentious argument between them about the issue of any type

of medication that deals with the mind.

Because in his mind, in a Scientologist mind, listen, your

problems are all in your own mind, and you really have to

just get those engrams out and get the reactive mind to be what

it needs to be so that you can reach the state of clear.

But reaching clear requires extensive auditing, extensive

financial investment. It's not a minor step.

You will find, however, and again, you can't go under the

Church of scientology.com, I think it's just scientology.org,

I believe is their main website. But you can't just go on there

and find a price sheet, OK? That's not the way that this

works. You think it's hard to find

prices at a hospital. It's even harder to find prices

to be able to tell you what Scientology is going to charge

you to get through this. But many of the estimates that I

have saw to is that to go clear could be anywhere from $20,000

to $50,000 or more. You say?

Well, why do you say or more? Because really they will keep

charging you and charging you and charging you until you're

able to get those engrams out. And who knows how long that can

take, that you get to the place where that E meter doesn't keep

moving the way that it used to. When you get to the place that

your body has now been basically trained to not have those

electrical impulses. And it could be $50,000 or more

to reach the state of clear. Now beyond that are the OT

levels. These are the operating feet and

levels. Beyond clear are the operating

feet and levels, usually called the OT levels, they are in

ascending order. So you have OT one, OT 2 all the

way to OT 7. Now, L Ron Hubbard at one point

said that there were levels above OT 7.

However, he has only written to had only written to seven and

there have been no more that have been released today.

But the idea even dangled in front of Scientology is this.

You think you reached the top, but someday there might be more.

You think you've reached the end and someday there could be more.

Could we put this word this way, revelation that will be given so

that you will have to go back to the well even more.

And by the way, if you just drop $500,000 to be able to get to OT

7, to go on to their main ship, the headwinds and to get that

final session and then you find out, oh, I'm not done, which may

happen someday, how much more you have to spend?

If you're already down a half $1,000,000, you could see what a

mess this is. Now, the concept behind the OT

levels is that the individual regained spiritual abilities

that were supposedly lost over immense eons of time.

Each level introduces new auditing process processes and

at higher stages, confidential teachings.

You're going to learn things about Scientology that nobody

else knows. And again, by the time you get

to OC 7, you are only given that in a very secure location on the

headwinds as it travels around the world.

The Scientology special ship that is run by the Sea Org that

we mentioned last week, that sea organization, the goal of the OT

levels is increasing spiritual autonomy and ability.

The idea is that the individual becomes increasingly the cause

over the life instead of the effect over it.

Meaning this you should be able to get to the place where you

affect life and life doesn't affect you.

That's a scary level of thought process that a Scientologist

could think that they. Tom Cruise just believes by the

own sheer will of his mind that he can affect reality itself.

Again, I think that's one of the reasons why he is so willing to

be able to climb up buildings, to be able to drive a motorcycle

over a Cliff, things that normally stunt men would do.

But he pushes the boundaries. He. 5 fighter jets.

Why is that? Because in his mind, he is in

control of reality. Reality is not in control of

him. And So what comes across as

confidence is really a man who has been deluded by teachings

that have trained him that he is reality.

Reality doesn't have any control on him.

That's just wild. That is absolutely wild to

think. That is what someone could

think. But this is what he's been

taught by the bridge all the way up to OT 7.

But we also have the training column that's on the left side

and the training column are those who want to become

auditors, whether they are professional auditors or whether

they are auditors of a volunteer nature.

If you are in the left-handed column, the training column, you

do a lot more book work. You will remember last week in

the video you saw, there's a big room where people were poring

over the writings of L Ron Hubbard.

They were going through the pages.

They were writing stuff down. These are likely people that are

in the training column and they are training to become auditors

again, whether professional or on a volunteer level.

It has been said that David Miskevich, even before he was a

teenager, became an auditor in the Church of Scientology

because he was such a prodigy of Scientology and that he likely

could have been the youngest auditor ever that Scientology

ever produced. Could you imagine being a 4050

year old Scientologist? You're paying 20 or $30,000.

You grab the cans and who walks in the other side to control the

meter? A 12 year old boy?

Some religion? And you're paying thousands of

dollars for this. You're thinking this is, this is

crazy again. Well, it, it is.

That's exactly what it is. And so there's the psychological

part of the bridge, though what is psychological about this is

several. This is not just a doctrinal

system, but it's also a motivational structure.

It shows you how you can progress.

It gives you a clear problem. It gives you a clear path.

It gives you measurable milestones.

It celebrates achievement publicly.

When you go clear, everyone knows you go clear.

It is a big achievement. It is something that is

celebrated amongst those who are your peers.

The chart reinforces a sense of upward movement.

Each completed level produces momentum towards the next and

you get to the place where the idea of sunken costs do get

involved. Maybe you're getting higher up

and you think, should I really even be continuing this?

But the idea of sunken costs is I've put so much money into this

already, I can't stop. It's like the gambler who's

lost, you know, thousands of dollars, but he knows the next

roll the dice will get him. On the plus side, this is what

Scientology does to you. Listen, the next the next level,

I'm going to get what I finally been looking for.

And all it's going to get you is a bigger credit card bill.

That's all it will get you. So we see of this finally, the

concept of total freedom is an absolute.

It's the complete removal of any type of spiritual location or

limitation. Rather, total freedom remains

the ultimate promise, even if it is not fully realized in the

present. If you can't get it in this

life, well, you just keep working and you might get it in

the next life as you come back as your next physical outward

manifestation of your theaton, which again is your soul.

All right. Well, we looked at those.

The training column there includes training and doctrine,

ethics, auditing procedures, and organizational structure.

But I want us to look at the 8 dynamics.

And so if the bridge to total freedom is the program, then the

8 dynamics of Scientology is the principles.

So the bridge is the program, the dynamics are the principles

that make up the program. It's important for us to

understand the two. The great deal of Scientology is

based on the building blocks of these 8 dynamics.

The 8 dynamics are survival drives that govern existence.

L Ron Hubbard and the great basis of a lot of his writings,

particularly Dianetics, is that the one motivational thought of

mankind is survival. And everything that man does is

about surviving. And So what we're going to do

here in just a moment is we're going to watch two different

videos. I've actually put them together

to watch back-to-back 1. I believe if I have loaded this

correctly, should be L Ron Hubbard in his own words for a

few moments. You might say, well this doesn't

make any sense and my answer would be right it, it's not

going to make a lot of sense. It sounds very intelligent.

But by the time you get to the end, there's a lot of

intelligent sounding words put together.

But then when you put them together and you see them for a

whole, you realize there's really nothing here.

And then the second part is a greater explanation of these 8

dynamics of which we'll be talking about and reviewing in

just a few moments. So if we could, let's roll that

footage. People ask me these questions.

How did you ever think about Dianetics?

Well, it doesn't seem to me that it required much more than the

cultural question itself. It has been with man now for

perhaps 50,000 years. What makes man tick?

Why does man act as man does act?

These questions are found in the oldest literature we have.

One looks back into the days of more modern times, let us say

ancient Greece, and he finds there in ancient Greece a school

which is attempting to answer the problems of the mind.

The Ascalippian school man had already become very conversant

with the problems of man by the time Greece was.

Greece. The Ascalepians, for instance,

were trying to cure insanity with convulsive shock.

They used a drug called hellebore and it produced much

the same results as the electric shock which is being used today.

The various methods employed, the efforts employed to cure

insanity, of course, form only a small part of man's efforts.

Man isn't wholly concentrated upon insanity in Dianetics.

We certainly aren't concentrated upon insanity or neurosis or

even psychosomatic illnesses. We're trying to do something

about the activities of the normal man, something about

conditions which in the world today are considered to be

normal conditions. Dianetics is mainly leveled at

the solution of the problems of man's activities, not just at

the problems of his psychotic and psychosomatically I'll

brother, in Dianetics what we do know doesn't have variables.

Therefore we can call it quite legitimately a science, but out

in advance of it is a tremendous field as yet utterly unexplored.

A philosophy, philosophy 1 might say, is the great unknown of

knowledge. Dianetics came straight out of

the realm of philosophy, actually, since none of these

facts could have been possibly have been integrated.

None of them could have been if we had not had a central pivot

on which to hang them. And that central pivot was the

word survive. It seemed incredible to people

that man could only be surviving.

Until one begins to realize the utter abundance necessary for

survival. It isn't enough, you know, to

raise one bushel of wheat per month.

If one is only going to consume 1 bushel of wheat, one has to

raise enough bushels of wheat to take care of all emergencies,

and if he raises enough, then he survives.

But raising enough wheat and having a great enough abundance

would in itself be a pleasure. We find out that survival then

proceeds into pleasure, that infinite survival as a an

Organism, a personality, a spirit.

However it is that he survives through his children that is a

pleasure and the attaining of that goal is a pleasure.

The act of trying to attain that goal is a pleasure.

On the other side of non survival we have pain, pain, the

warning light that says don't go in this direction any further

because there lies death. In other words, the rightest one

could be was infinite survival for himself, for his children,

for his group, and for all mankind.

It works out into a simplicity. What is your primary goal in

life? In other words, what's driving

you? What's the basic motivation

behind all of your actions and decisions?

The. Work you did on the stairway is

fantastic. Well, whatever else you may be

trying to do, ultimately you're trying to survive now.

It's not a new thought that man is surviving.

So Alex and I just told me you had a math test today.

How'd you do? But in Scientology it was

discovered that man, like every other living thing, is motivated

only by survival. That is the goal of life.

So everything you do and every choice you make is driven by

this urge you have to survive. But you're not trying to just

merely survive. Go all.

The way back up the. Loop.

You want to live long and live well.

Popcorn. So there are degrees of

survival. Your urge to survive could be

represented by an arrow that thrusts up toward the highest

potential level of survival. We call this urge towards

survival a dynamic. If you were to look at it

through a magnifying glass, you'd see that this one thrust

subdivides into 8 thrusts, 8 urges to survive.

We call these the 8 dynamics. They represent all the different

compartments in your life that you're surviving for.

For example, the first dynamic is the urge to survive as

oneself. It's the effort to survive as an

individual, to be an individual, to attain the highest level of

survival for the longest possible time for self.

Here we have individuality expressed fully.

The second dynamic is the urge to survive through a future

generation. It has two compartments, sex and

the family unit, including the rearing of children.

The third dynamic is the urge to survive as part of a group.

Any group, temporary or permanent, political or social,

is part of the third dynamic and each one is 1/3 dynamic.

The 4th dynamic is the urge to survive through man as a

species. Whereas one race would be

considered a third dynamic, all the races of man together would

be considered the 4th dynamic. The 5th dynamic is the urge to

survive for any and every form of life.

This would include all living things, whether animal or

vegetable. The 6th dynamic is the urge to

promote the survival of the physical universe.

It's the drive of the individual to enhance the survival of all

matter, energy, space and time, which are the component parts of

the physical universe. The 7th dynamic can be called

the spiritual dynamic. This is separate from the

physical universe and is the source of life itself.

The 8th dynamic is the urge toward existence as Infinity.

This is also identified as the Supreme Being.

This can be called the Infinity or God dynamic.

These 8 dynamics embrace all the goals of survival that you have

and all the things that you survive for, and you're trying

to survive one way or another on all these dynamics at once.

You may be surviving well in some the finalized storyboard

for that scene. These are great check in with me

at the end of the day. Go Team.

But perhaps not so well in others.

But if you're not surviving as well in one or more areas of

your life, then you're ultimately not surviving well in

general, because they're all connected.

Now. Any problem or situation you

encounter in life will affect one or more of these dynamics.

Yet, as you know, not all decisions or solutions are

simple. There's a natural struggle

between your dynamics. For example, a job opportunity

in another city that would improve your income but uproot

your wife and children has implications across several of

your dynamics. The better your decisions are,

the better you survive. So how can you determine the

right course of action to take? What constitutes a right

decision? Well, in Scientology, you'll

learn a method to determine precisely what the best decision

or solution is for any problem or situation you encounter in

life. With this tool, you'll know how

to confidently make the correct decision every time.

I'll call them first thing in the morning and let them know.

Sounds good. The more you understand these

dynamics and their relationship to each other, the more you can

increase your survival and participation on all of them.

Hi, sorry about my dog. For the 8 dynamics are the parts

of your life. Yeah, that's right.

What? What is the common thread there?

From the psycho Babble of L Ron Hubbard, which again was an

eloquent pile of nothing, to the 8 dynamics that tell you that

it's all about survival. It really gets to that very end

part that there is a method to be able to help you to

understand what to be able to do in your life.

And the answer is always this. You.

But how can you find that answer within you?

You need auditing. You need the E meter.

You need the bridge to total freedom.

This is the only way. Which means you need Scientology

and you need money. That's really what it comes down

to. And so in looking at all of

those things, I'd like to summarize just here very quickly

why Scientology is spiritually dangerous.

And I understand that it seems very far removed from us,

doesn't it? It certainly does.

I, I don't know that I've ever met someone who's a practicing

Scientologist before. I've seen much of it online.

We've obviously seen much of it in Hollywood.

We've also seen much of the negative effects of it that have

been publicly brought to the surface, like I mentioned last

week, whether it's books, documentaries, news articles,

those type of things. But why is Scientology so

dangerous? Again, it all comes back to

this. The answer is inside of you.

But yet we see that the Bible tells us though that that we're

to trust in the Lord with all our heart and lean not unto our

own understanding in all our ways.

Acknowledge Him and he shall direct thy paths.

See Psalm 119 says what thy word is a lamp unto our feet and a

light unto our path. Over and over we are told that

when we are involved we end up messing up the way we should go.

But yet when the Lord is the one who leads and the Lord's word is

the one who leads us, then we can truly understand not only

what salvation is, but understand how we're to live in

this day-to-day life as well. Scientology offers false hope.

It promises freedom without repentance.

It involves replacement, redemption.

Only Christ can free the Sinner. John 836 If the Son therefore

shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

It does not come through the bridge to nowhere.

It offers a false God. Again, the real answer is you.

Romans 718 But this is what the word of God says.

For I know that in me, that is, in my flesh dwelleth no good

thing, for to will is present with me.

But how to perform that which is good?

I find not. It promises, or rather it has

false prophets. L Ron Hubbard, David Miscavige

are liars, they're hucksters, and they are abusers.

For instance, L Ron Hubbard's son Ronald Dewolf publicly

accused his father Hubbard of widespread dishonesty and

described Scientology as a business rather than religion.

So what was the response of Scientology?

To scrub Ronald Dewolf from the history books and act as if he

never even existed in the 1st 1st place as a son of L Ron

Hubbard. There are numerous former high

level executives and Seorg members that have accused

Miscavage of physical beatings, humiliation, verbal abuse, and

as I mentioned last week, confining those members who they

considered to be going rogue. Those members who they

considered to be those who are causing trouble within

Scientology, placing them into a place that is called the whole

where they received physical abuse.

They were not fed properly. What I have seen is that people

would be treated better in the county jail than they would be

in this area. That's why I am very confident

in saying that Scientology has more to do with organized crime

than it does with the idea of religion because it is all about

control. Multiple lawsuits named

Miscavige personally and allege human trafficking, human

trafficking, forced labor, child abuse, sexual abuse, cover ups

and coercion of minors into the Sea Org.

The Sea Org members can typically start at a very young

age, even before teenage age. And they are signing billion

year contracts. Yes, I said that right.

A billion year contract. I got to, I got to finish.

I'm sorry. But yeah, it's, well, you know,

it's it's exciting, but why is it a billion years?

Because you're going to as a theatin, you're just going to

continue on and on and on. And so as a minor, you're

signing a contract for a billion years.

And you say, well, who's going to honor that?

Well, no court is going to honor that.

However, they are going to hold you to it.

And if you don't, they are going to make your life miserable for

what you signed when you were nine years old.

I mean, absolutely incredible, but it's not just about the

false prophets as those two men, but it's also about the false

prophets PROFITS, meaning this, it's all about money.

This is a pyramid scheme. It puts money in the pockets of

those at the top and bankrupting everyone else.

If you look at how David Miskevich lives, if you look at

how Tom Cruise is basically just gifted things, large amounts of

money by the Church of Scientology, a man who doesn't

need money from anybody. But yet continues to receive and

receive from Scientology. It's absolutely awful.

Acts 8, verse 20. Peter said thy money perish with

Acts 8:20

thee because thou has bought or thou has thought that the gift

of God may be purchased with money.

And we understand that is not the case.

I'll recommend to you once again very quickly if you'd like to

read on this topic. It's an excellent book that I

read last year from cover to cover, going Clear by Lawrence

Wright. Leah Remini again also has

several documentaries. Again, I can't recommend them

for language. However, I can tell you that the

content inside it is very enlightening.

And again, all you have to do is to go online and Google Tampa

Bay Times or Saint Pete Times and Scientology and you'll find

a host of articles that will keep you very, very busy in

reading and understanding. What Scientology is all about.

Well, it took a little bit longer than I thought it would.

I was trying to do this in one week.

But at the same time, being able to hear those things with your

own voice is something you with your own ears is what you need

to hear. Because certainly who would

believe such a thing could even be possible?

And why would anyone stay? Well, you stay because again,

the idea of the sunken cost, you're in too deep.

You just got to keep going. But the problem is if they don't

get out, they're going to end up spending an eternity in the lake

of fire. And so it's important for us to

understand and to be able to, if we ever come in contact with

Scientologists, to be able to present them what the true

gospel is. Thank you for.
