  1. Amen. Okay, we're in 1 John chapter 2 tonight and the title of my sermon tonight is they went out from us

    1 John 2 chapter mention

  2. They went out from us verse 19 says they went out from us, but they were not of us

  3. For if they had been of us, they would have no doubt have continued with us

  4. But they went out that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us

  5. And what I want to preach about this evening is the subject of apostasy here in 1 John chapter 2

    1 John 2 chapter mention

  6. Specifically verse 19 now this verse here has been misused in many different contexts by a variety of pastors and Christians

  7. And they often interpret this to mean that if you as a Christian if you get out of church if you stop serving God if

  8. You leave church if you stop serving God if you get involved in sin

  9. That is an indication that you went out from us

  10. Therefore it's also an indication that you're not really of us in other words

  11. It means that you're not saved, but that is a false interpretation of this verse and unfortunately

  12. You know it's misled a lot of people into thinking that you have to persevere in your works for Christ in order to maintain

  13. Your salvation this believe this Calvinistic belief that you have to persevere in your works

  14. You have to persevere in your service for God if you really want to demonstrate that you're saved

  15. Okay, and they often use this verse in conjunction with Matthew 24 that says they then endured to the end the same

  16. Shall be saved okay, and when it comes to Matthew 24

  17. we obviously understand that the context of the chapter is referring to end times Bible prophecy and

  18. specifically it's referring to

  19. The fifth seal in that context the fifth seal where Christians are being put to death on mass and the Bible saying there

  20. That if you're able to endure that persecution

  21. Until the end you will be saved meaning your flesh will be delivered from the persecution of the Antichrist

  22. Because that persecution according to the biblical timeline lasts for 75 days

  23. Then comes the rapture if you make it to the rapture guess what your flesh is saved from that persecution

  24. So Matthew 24 when it says they then endured to the end has nothing to do with salvation

  25. It has to do with the deliverance of the body

  26. But this is what people do they'll take scriptures completely out of context and they will apply them to other portions of scripture

  27. Such as what we see here in first on chapter 2 verse 19 and they'll say well

  28. You know if you really want to say that you're saved obviously we know that it's by faith

  29. We know that it's by believing in Jesus

  30. However, if you decide to get out of the congregation of God you start serving your sin

  31. You start doing things that are not pleasing unto the Lord first on 2 19 applies to you

  32. It's an indication that you're not really of us

  33. But this is a false interpretation

  34. That is heresy because quite frankly folks if you are saved if you're a believer in Christ

  35. It doesn't matter if you continue in the service of God or not because the Bible says that we and first on

  36. At first Peter chapter 1 that we listen to this are kept by the power of God unto salvation

    1 Peter 1 chapter mention

  37. What does that mean it means the one who's responsible for keeping us keeping our salvation is the Lord Jesus Christ

  38. He's the only one who possesses the power to maintain our salvation for us

  39. Not we ourselves and you know, it's an oxymoron to say oh, it's not of works

  40. But you got to do works to make sure that you stay safe, you know

  41. It's a retarded doctrine that has no substance in the Bible

  42. You know, you don't have to persevere in your works to be saved to prove that you're safe to God

  43. They're like oh, well, you know faith without works is dead being alone yet to others not to God though

  44. You know God obviously sees that if we have placed our faith in Christ, you know, that's all that's needed

  45. That is sufficient for our salvation

  46. But definitely if you don't have works coupled with your faith, it's a faith that does not work

  47. It does not produce any works that will benefit someone else. Okay, very important to understand that now in light of that

  48. What is first John chapter 2 verse 19 referring to what is it talking about exactly?

    1 John 2:19

  49. Well, we have to understand what he means by they okay

  50. And let me just teach you something real quick is that you know, a lot of times when people interpret the Bible false prophets

  51. Specifically they will often isolate verses

  52. And look if you isolate a verse you can pretty much teach anything you want

  53. If you remove it from its context of the verses prior the verses after if you remove it from the context of the chapter

  54. The context of the book the context of the Bible you can make that verse say anything you want

  55. Which is why we have to what compare scripture with scripture compare spiritual things with spiritual

  56. Why because out of the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established

  57. And you know that principle applies to Bible study as well

  58. Okay, we have a variety of scriptures that teach us explicitly what salvation is and this is not

  59. This is not in an application to salvation or to Christians when it says here they

  60. We know who this is referring to look at verse 18

  61. Little children. It is the last time and as you have heard that

  62. Antichrist shall come what is that talking about it's referring to the fact that in the end times

  63. There's gonna be a man known as the Antichrist also referred to as the man of sin the son of perdition

  64. The beast as we see in Revelation chapter 13 and he is going to come so even though the apostle John is writing this

    Revelation 13 chapter mention

  65. You know in the first century AD

  66. He's foretelling of a time in the future where the Antichrist will come and Antichrist is someone who is coming in the place of Christ

  67. He's obviously someone who's you know a contrarian to Christ

  68. He's against Christ, but it's also referring to someone who is coming in his place

  69. That is referring to the man of sin that we see in the book of Revelation. However, look what it goes on to say here as

  70. You've heard that Antichrist shall come even now are there many Antichrist

  71. So this is telling us that even though there's going to be a

  72. Main character Antichrist in the end times

  73. We don't have to wait for the end times to find out who that is because there's many Antichrist that even exists today

  74. There's many Antichrist that exist in John's day. This is referring to people who are coming in the place of Christ

  75. They're against the Lord Jesus Christ. He says here. Whereby we know that it is the last time verse 19

  76. They went out from us. Who are the day the Antichrists?

  77. Okay, those who are against Christ those who are coming in the place of Christ

  78. It's referring to false prophets false teachers. This is what it's being addressed here. I just got louder for some reason

  79. I don't know that my ears pop or they're like a speaker just turned on

  80. So it says they went out from us, but they were not of us

  81. So the implication here is that these Antichrists were not originally referred to as Antichrist

  82. They weren't referred to as false prophets and in fact they masqueraded as believers. Okay. Now. Who's the author of this book?

  83. John

  84. So if we're to look at John's life, who do you think he's referring to there? Well, obviously automatically you should think to yourself

  85. Oh, this is referring to Judas

  86. Judas Iscariot is a perfect example of someone who was among the twelve

  87. He was of the twelve

  88. He was given the apostleship by Jesus Christ, but he wasn't really of them now

  89. Was he as noted by the fact that he went out from among them?

  90. He says they went out from us, but they were not of us for if they had been with us

  91. They would have no doubt

  92. continued with us now let's go to John chapter 6 before I give more of the interpretation of

    John 6 chapter mention

  93. Verse 19 here. Let's go to John chapter 6 if you would

    John 6 chapter mention

  94. John chapter 6

    John 6 chapter mention

  95. Now automatically we know that it's referring to Judas Iscariot, but did you know?

  96. There were other Antichrists other than Judas Iscariot who came out from among them

  97. Okay, because keep in mind it says Antichrist they went out from they went out from us for they were not of us

  98. For if they had been of us, they would have no doubt continued with us. Yes

  99. This applies to Judas Iscariot, but you know, there's a lot of people there are many quote-unquote

  100. Disciples that apostatized even during Christ's time now look at verse number

  101. 59 it says these things said he in the synagogue as he taught in Capernaum

  102. Many therefore of his disciples when they heard this said this is a hard saying who can hear it?

  103. When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it. He said into him that this offend you now

  104. it's important to know

  105. That you know I've often used this verse in a tertiary secondary tertiary way or you know

  106. We talk about hey is this offending you like are you are you mad that I said this are you offended at this?

  107. Are you being weak about this but really an offense in the Bible is referring to what a stumbling block

  108. So when you think of an offense in the Bible

  109. yeah, we often associate that with

  110. Hard preaching offending someone because it goes against the grain it goes against their ideology

  111. But an offense in the most literal way that it's being used in the Bible is referring to like a stumbling block

  112. So in other words, you know for example the Bible talks about Jesus Christ being the stone that rock of offense

  113. Meaning that when people come across him they stumble at the stumbling stone

  114. They're not willing to believe on him is what it's saying. Okay

  115. So what Jesus is preaching here in John chapter 6 is he's talking about salvation and he's using the illustration of

    John 6 chapter mention

  116. drinking his blood and eating his physical flesh as

  117. Illustration of salvation. This is not teaching the false doctrine of transubstantiation is put forth by the Catholics

  118. Okay, and you know the Catholics will always point to John chapter 6. Oh John chapter 6. He says you got to literally

John 6 chapter mention John 6 chapter mention

  119. Yeah, you know the Pharisees who were unsafe or the were also the ones who interpreted that passage just like that, too

  120. That should tell you something. Okay, and it's interesting that the unsaved people in

  121. John chapter 6 were the ones who interpreted just as the Catholics do and the ones that didn't interpret it that way were the actual

    John 6 chapter mention

  122. Disciples Peter James John they said to whom shall we go for thou hast the words of eternal life

  123. And we believe in our shirt that thou art the Christ the son of the living God, you know

  124. They didn't say oh, you know, we believed that we got to eat your flesh and drink your blood to be saved

  125. They're referring to the eternal words that are coming out of his mouth because they actually understood what he was actually teaching

  126. so he's using this illustration in order to convey salvation and

  127. The disciples doesn't say specifically who but keep in mind during Jesus ministry. You know a lot of people following him

  128. What is the disciples someone who follows Christ a?

  129. Lot of the disciples they were like oh man, this is kind of hard, you know

  130. You know, this is a hard saying

  131. Who can hear it? They're like this is kind of tough

  132. I don't know if we can accept this and what's so hard to accept about salvation

  133. What's so hard to accept about the gift of eternal life? What he's explaining here and Jesus says

  134. You know does this offend you? He they're murmuring at it verse 62

  135. What and if he shall see the Son of Man ascend up where it was before so he's saying you know if this offends you wait

  136. Do you see me ascend?

  137. Okay, you're gonna stumble at that as well. What is Jesus saying if you're not willing to believe what?

  138. I'm saying now. You're not even gonna believe even if I ascend up into heaven and you're able to actually be hold it with your eyes

  139. All the way

  140. This is an important point here because we got to realize that when it comes to place in our faith in Jesus Christ

  141. We don't need any visible evidence

  142. All right, we walk by faith not by sight. We accept these things by faith not by sight

  143. That's why it's ridiculous to think. Oh Jews are gonna get saved in Revelation 19 when they see Jesus Christ coming in

  144. It's not gonna happen

  145. Okay, it's not gonna happen because they saw him come in the first century AD

  146. They beheld them with their eyes and they still rejected him. Okay, so it's like if this offends you

  147. What and if you shall see the Son of Man to send up where he was before?

  148. It is the spirit the quicken it the flesh profit nothing the words that I speak into you

  149. They are spirit and they are life now Jesus being very merciful here because in verse 63

  150. He tells them hey by the way the flesh doesn't profit anything. It is the spirit the quicken it

  151. In other words, it's like I'm talking to you about spiritual things here and obviously they're not catching

  152. It's just going over their minds going over their heads now. Why is it going over there the disciples heads?

  153. I'll tell you why because they're not saved

  154. They may consider themselves to be disciples, but they're not really saved

  155. Look what it says verse 64. How do you know that? But there are some of you that believe not

  156. Okay

  157. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believe not and who should betray him

  158. We often use this verse to prove that Judas is scary was not saved and it's definitely true

  159. He wasn't saved. He didn't believe okay

  160. You know he is also the son of perdition. He is a first-century example of an antichrist

  161. Okay, but we see here that it's also applicable to some of the disciples now

  162. I'm not referring to the 12 disciples. I'm not referring to the 12. I'm not referring to the three

  163. But just keep in mind there were a variety of people who followed the Lord Jesus Christ

  164. Why do they follow him? Well because he fed them

  165. Well because he performed the miracles because they like what he was saying

  166. But when it came to a message like this in John chapter 6 it just oh, we're not going to cross that line

    John 6 chapter mention

  167. This offends us. This is a hard saying who can hear it this and it's just a message on salvation

  168. He's like oh, you're offended. You're stumbling at this particular same

  169. This is demonstrating here that you don't believe okay

  170. Because it's just a message on salvation

  171. Verse 65 and he said therefore said I unto you that no man can come unto me

  172. Except that were given unto him of my father from that time listen to this

  173. Many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him

  174. What does this mean? It means they departed from the faith. That's what it means

  175. Okay, and I do believe that when it says many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him

  176. It's referring to people who essentially apostatized they went out from us for they were not of us for if they had been of us

  177. They would have no doubt continued with us continuing what in believing

  178. That's what it means to continue means to

  179. Continue to believe that Jesus is the Christ continue to believe that it's by

  180. Say salvation is by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ meaning that if someone claims to believe that

  181. They profess to believe these things somewhere along down the road

  182. They stumble at that message. It's a demonstration. They never believed to begin with

  183. A lot of people have problems with this because they're like, oh, you know, no, it just means they lost their salvation

  184. Well, here's the thing. There's absolutely no example in the bible of anybody losing their salvation

  185. Does it exist?

  186. There's no illustration of someone losing their salvation. There's no indication of anybody losing their salvation

  187. There's just indication of people going apostate

  188. And it literally says here verse 64

  189. But there are some of you that believe not for jesus knew from the beginning

  190. Who they were that believed not and who should betray him meaning that at the beginning of the ministry of jesus christ

  191. When he collected the disciples he knew from the start these guys don't believe

  192. These guys are not saved. They're kind of going along. They're just playing along. They're making this profession of faith

  193. But they don't really believe in their hearts and look folks

  194. It's important to make a profession of faith for sure

  195. Which is why when we go out sowning we close the deal at the end of the gospel presentation

  196. And aid them in calling upon the name of the lord

  197. All right, because that's what the bible commands us to do

  198. But keep in mind folks that if thou should confess with thy mouth the lord jesus and

  199. Believe in thine heart that god would raise him from the dead. I'll show you safe

  200. For what the hard man believe it's not the righteous but with the mouth confession is made into salvation

  201. So yeah, you know if a person believes in their heart the natural byproduct of that is they they would ask for salvation

  202. But you know what there's going to be people out there who ask for salvation, but they don't really believe it in their hearts

  203. That's a legitimate thing

  204. Where people claim to believe these things and look we have to do our part to make sure that we're very thorough in our gospel presentation

  205. And that's why I think it's it's extremely important

  206. That when we are preaching the gospel that we communicate that it's by faith in jesus christ exclusively

  207. Meaning at the exclusion of everything else

  208. Why well because you know you'll have catholics that you'll witness to and they'll agree with you on everything that you're saying

  209. They'll agree that it's by faith in jesus christ

  210. They'll agree. They're like, oh, yeah, I believe that. Yeah

  211. Jesus it's by faith in jesus christ

  212. You know by grace through faith in jesus christ, but then you're like, yeah

  213. But it's at the exclusion of everything else including mary. Well, I don't agree with that

  214. I'm telling you that happens all the time

  215. They have no problem agreeing with you regarding those things until you tell them that it's like literally only by believing in jesus christ

  216. And you can't add another belief to that another person to that another way of salvation that because you didn't you just can't be saved

  217. okay

  218. He says in verse 66 again from that time any of his disciples went back and walked no more with him

  219. Then jesus then said jesus unto the 12th will ye also go away

  220. Then simon peter answered him lord to whom shall we go thou has the words of eternal life

  221. We believe in our sure that thou art the christ the son of the living god

  222. Now I love this passage here because you know peter is is very

  223. It's a very heartfelt confession, right?

  224. to whom shall we go

  225. That's the words of eternal life

  226. It's just powerful. We believe in our shirt that thou art the christ the son of the living god is just like

  227. Yeah, that's good

  228. Verse 70 jesus answered him have not chosen you told me one of you's a devil just completely ignores him

  229. He just looks at it. He's like didn't I choose you guys and one of you guys is a devil

  230. And by the way verse 70 is a good verse for the calvinist amen

  231. Because they're chosen yet one of them's a devil

  232. Not interesting

  233. He spoke of judice is scary the son of simon for he was that should betray him being one of the 12th

  234. What is judice is scary it?

  235. You know have to do with first john chapter 2 verse 19

    1 John 2:19

  236. What are the disciples that walked away have to do a first john 2 19?

  237. I'll tell you what it has to do with they departed from the faith that were never really safe to begin with

  238. Now let me tell you something go to go back to first john if you wouldn't

  239. You and I aren't gonna have to come to grips with people doing this throughout our christian life

  240. Okay, you're gonna hear about people

  241. You know god forbid, but it may happen in our church one day

  242. Or someone claims to be saved they are using all the christianese. They may even come to church for years

  243. Okay, it is a thing and then somewhere along down the road

  244. They stumble at the stumbling stone. They're not stumbling at some secondary tertiary doctrine

  245. They're not gonna stumble at end times prophecy. It's not that they're stumbling at you know the jews

  246. They're not stumbling at dispensationalism. They stumble out salvation

  247. And you know what they depart from the faith and you know what that indicates to us this person was never safe to begin with

  248. He says in first john chapter 2 verse 19 again

    1 John 2:19

  249. They went out from us, but they were not of us for if they had been with us been of excuse me

  250. They would have no doubt have continued with us

  251. But they went out that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us

  252. And you know what you need to make sure that you're not a bleeding heart when this happens

  253. Just a bleeding heart

  254. Oh, but they were here though and I went soul-winning with them and all this then oh, but they said they read the bible

  255. Yeah, but guess what they're apostates

  256. You try to tell me that the 11 disciples weren't tripping out that judas was like an absolute devil

  257. They spent three and a half years with him

  258. They went soul-winning with him

  259. They preached the gospel with him and you know, I do believe that he performed miracles as well

  260. Not because he was saved but because god gave him the capability of doing so and they're probably like thinking like whoa

  261. What in the world?

  262. I mean folks judas the scary must have been someone who just you know was upright

  263. Outwardly because no one suspected him

  264. And you know, that's exactly how it's going to be

  265. For us as a church. That's how it's going to be for other churches

  266. You know, we need to make sure that we're not like well, they're just falling

  267. You know, well, you don't fall into damnable heresy. Let me just tell you that first and foremost

  268. It's not like man. I'm just struggling with just believing it's by works right now

  269. It's just I'm going through this season. I think it's by works

  270. You know, I I think I feel there's more evidence in the bible to demonstrate that salvation is by works

  271. Now look folks if you agree with what we're talking about regarding salvation being by grace your faith

  272. But you've never actually called upon the name of the lord to do so you better do that tonight

  273. You better do it tonight. You're like, man, I can't remember when it was that I got saved

  274. Well, and I don't really know if that ever happened then just pray right now

  275. Just kind of shut me off right now and just pray thus within yourself unto the lord lord

  276. I accept you as my personal savior. I believe on you for salvation

  277. I know that it's not by works and I'm placing my faith in you exclusively better to do that

  278. Then to become an apostate somewhere down the road because you're not really saved

  279. Yeah

  280. And folks, I'm telling you this happens a lot

  281. Okay, apostasy abounds today

  282. And obviously, you know when we look at for example the profile of a false prophet in 2nd Peter chapter 2

  283. This profile can be broken up into four categories

  284. If you study 2nd Peter chapter 2, we'll go there in just a bit

  285. You have basically four categories of false prophets. You have the false prophet who wants to teach damnable heresy

  286. Right, this is the person who isn't necessary. He's not a sexual pervert. He's not doing it for money

  287. He's just in it to teach damnable heresy. He's in it to corrupt the scriptures

  288. Right, there are false teachers among the people there are false prophets also among the people even as there should be false teachers among you

  289. Who privately shall bring in damnable heresies?

  290. Denying even the lord god that bought them you got that brother

  291. Denying even the lord god that bought them

  292. This is referring to someone who's teaching damnable heresy

  293. Category number one damnable heresy category number two covetousness

  294. Someone who

  295. You know has the office of a pastor or a religious leader. Why because they want to make money

  296. Is the joe holsteins of this world, right? These are the fake healers of this world

  297. Category number three are those who hate magistrates. These are the usurpers

  298. These are the people who want to have the preeminence among them

  299. They like to have power over people and they will seek to destroy the reputation of the men of god in order to get it

  300. The last category are the sexual perverts

  301. And so false prophets these reprobates and apostates they fall into one of those four categories, okay

  302. See why preach this because this week

  303. You know, there's this guy out there. His name is kenny Baldwin

  304. And you may not even know who that is, but he's a prominent pastor in the old IFB

  305. Very prominent pastor. He was one at least

  306. His dad was a very prominent pastor. Lou Baldwin was responsible for starting

  307. tons of churches

  308. Okay, he was he did a great work

  309. But his son kenny Baldwin kind of rose up to the ranks

  310. Became a pastor started a church was a major conference speaker

  311. People loved him. They esteemed him. The guy's a freaking pedophile

  312. Is arrested because he's sending new photos to a 15 year old boy

  313. Disgusting and people were like, oh man, we're not for the grace of god. We'd be the what do you mean for what what?

  314. Speak for yourself son

  315. You know, oh man, well, david fell David committed adultery

  316. David murdered and you know what these are sins common to man

  317. I'm not justifying david sin, but find me a book chapter verse in the bible that talks about david committing pedophilia

  318. It doesn't exist

  319. Pedophilia is a disgusting

  320. Abominable disgusting sin that merits the merits execution

  321. Public execution at that and you know, it's associated with reprobation and being apostate

  322. And you know, kenny Baldwin is not someone who just oh, he just stopped reading the bible

  323. Bro, he never believed the bible

  324. Bro's a homo

  325. Yup. Yup. He's a homo. He denied the gospel long ago

  326. Went apostate and was given over to a reprobate mind, which is why he was committing such filthy acts

  327. Pray for him, you know pray for kenny Baldwin, you know just for what pray that he dies

  328. But you know what this is this is the major problem with old ip churches

  329. And again, you know, I'm a major advocate for old ip churches. You know this, okay

  330. I'm probably the biggest advocate for old ip churches in our church

  331. You know, I know a lot of you guys don't like old ip churches. Some of you don't you know, I actually do like them

  332. But you know, they have a lot of blind spots

  333. And one of them is this particular area

  334. Where they just make excuses for people who are just absolute reprobates

  335. And obviously some of it is just because of ignorance. They don't understand the reprobate doctrine

  336. They were never taught but I don't know that I think sometimes the other percentage of people who struggle with this is because they're reprobates themselves or something

  337. You just kind of wonder

  338. Yeah, people on facebook, you know, and what drives me absolutely insane and just just bananas is when

  339. You know something like this happens you find out about some pervert pastor

  340. Doing some godless thing with kids some just reprobate and then these pastors hop on they're trying to be all hyper spiritual

  341. And like, you know what another soldier has fallen

  342. Bro's not a soldier

  343. He didn't fall he's exposed

  344. It's not falling. It's called getting exposed for being the absolute reprobate that he is

  345. And look folks, let me just repeat it again pedophiles deserve the death penalty

  346. They should be publicly shot in the head

  347. That's what the government should institute upon these monsters

  348. Because they destroy kids lives

  349. A millstone should be tied about their neck and they should be drowned in the depths of the sea as the bible says

  350. Okay, and any pastor, well, I just don't see god in that Jesus said that

  351. He's the one who said that

  352. Don't give me the spiritual hyper spiritual talk of another soldier has fallen

  353. No, that's not the case. This dude went apostate long ago

  354. Just like jack scopp just like these other perverts out there

  355. And here's another thing is that

  356. You know, you have these people like the like the preacher boys podcast

  357. Right who's probably an apostate himself

  358. And you you have these guys are like, you know, this happens a law in the high beach

  359. This happens in every church. What are you talking about?

  360. Not just ios churches. You ever heard of something called the roman catholic church?

  361. You ever heard of monumentism

  362. Apostasy happens everywhere

  363. And you know what ifp churches are not immune to apostasy

  364. Why because we can do everything we possibly can on our part to preach the word of god and preach the gospel

  365. But people have to accept it in the pews

  366. They have to accept the truth of the gospel in the pews

  367. You know and you have this other argument from the other side is just like

  368. Well, you know, I just see that people who go down this road of getting all liberal are just more likely

  369. To be committing these horrible crimes and abominations

  370. And you know, I get what they're saying about that because you know, these these non-denom churches are super liberal

  371. And and you know, limp-wristed and it's very it's a very loose environment

  372. But you know that that's not the biblical description of that though

  373. The reason people do these things is because they reject the gospel

  374. And this is the answer they'll say well these people profess to be christian. Yeah professed

  375. You know, I don't I don't know if you know about this one sin called lying

  376. There's a sin in the bible called lying

  377. You know people do that

  378. And you expect to tell you expect me to believe that some pedophile would not lie to your face

  379. That's what they do. They're full of deceit. That's what the bible says

  380. You know, oh man, we just got to pray for him and he just felt no they went out from us

  381. Kenny bald one was not of us

  382. He masqueraded. He has a wolf in sheep's clothing. He's a homo. He's a pedophile

  383. He's the disgusting monstrous animal that needs to be put down

  384. And you know what? I don't care if you think they get this gives ifp churches a bad name or not

  385. Our church believes the pedophile should be put to death

  386. But they're reprobate. They're apostate and you know again if it happens in our church

  387. If ever an apostate comes out of our church and commits some wicked act like that

  388. You better know for sure we will publicly condemn that person

  389. Obviously there's nothing we could do on our part to like harm this individual maybe

  390. But they will be we will turn them into the low

  391. We're not gonna

  392. You know hide it under a rug or something just sweep everything under a rug and just not talk about it

  393. If this person is responsible for harming children committing crimes, they're gonna be turned over to the authorities

  394. And that's you know, that's another problem that these ifp churches have

  395. Is that they do sweep stuff under the rug

  396. And move people around

  397. You know, oh this guy commits pedophilia just move them to another church

  398. Let them be a youth pastor somewhere else give them another chance, but folks pedophiles can't be reformed

  399. It doesn't exist

  400. Now it's important to note that when we talk about the reprobate and the apostate because look folks

  401. You have to understand these things

  402. When it comes to both they're two sides of the same exact coin

  403. We're talking about two people

  404. Who are beyond the hope of salvation they can no longer be saved

  405. They're referred to as the reprobating Romans one in order to describe them for their perversion

  406. Their sexual perversion perversion their degeneracy. That's what reprobate is about right the apostate is also the reprobate

  407. But he's more closely linked to

  408. Scriptural corruption, but they're both the same thing

  409. And they both overlap one another

  410. Okay, you know because you could have a reprobate out in public

  411. Who's some sodomite?

  412. Right. He's not a christian. He never identified as a christian. He might have been given the gospel

  413. He might have known about the things of god and in light of that he rejected him became some pervert

  414. But then you have people who grow up in church

  415. People who hear the preaching of god's word

  416. People who hear the gospel over and over and over again

  417. They hear bible preaching over and over again, and they reject it. You know what happens apostate

  418. Reprobate

  419. That is a major danger my friends and folks. This is why it's important important, you know parents

  420. We need to make sure we check on kids salvations

  421. our kids salvations

  422. you know

  423. I have three kids that have made a profession of faith. They they they got saved

  424. But you know what throughout their lives. I'm just gonna randomly check in

  425. Not just assume

  426. Why because you just never know

  427. And you know what I teach a lot of saturated doctrine in this church

  428. I teach a lot of bible we go through a lot of verses. I'm constantly quoting scripture

  429. You know, I'm constantly saturating the services with the word of god

  430. And I don't want anybody to become hardened towards the word of god because they're they never believed to begin with

  431. It's a legitimate danger

  432. Right

  433. Not just for kids for everyone

  434. But you know we need to make sure we check on our kids salvation and not just assume

  435. And you know what you shouldn't assume that your friend you're brought to church is just saved like well

  436. Don't witness them because he's already saved. No, let us check on their salvation

  437. Let us check on them. They're saved and we'll just have a good conversation about salvation

  438. right

  439. Don't and look and if you talk to them and they're not saved don't take it as a as a insult to you

  440. Just take it as like oh, I thought he was safe

  441. You know, there's people that I thought I got saved and they weren't saved and they got saved later on

  442. I'm not embarrassed about that because you know what there's not a competition of how many people we can just get saved

  443. We know the goal is to just get people saved

  444. So I have no issue with checking on my kids salvation

  445. I check on their salvation. Okay, and I'm going to continue to do so throughout their lives

  446. You know because it's great to be in a church where the bible is being preached and thundered forth and be able to just

  447. Preach the word of god unfiltered, but as I mentioned whatever was sunday or last Thursday or whatever

  448. You know the word of god can harden the heart as well though

  449. Okay

  450. You know, I remember years ago

  451. And we often you know, I've preached against christian schools because christian schools essentially

  452. You know, they do streamline the reprobation process. Let me just be real honest with you

  453. You say why well because they're forced to go to the christian school students

  454. And in the christian school, what are they getting just constant bible?

  455. But they don't want to be there. There's students that don't want to be there

  456. Kids just don't want to be there, but they're being forced their chapel services

  457. And and and bible classes and they're constantly given the word of god and you know what it turns out reprobates

  458. I've seen this personally when I used to work in a christian school. I saw this with students

  459. You know, you have these guys that would come in. They were super on fire for god

  460. They're a major fundamentalist. They preach the word of god now. They're a flaming faggot

  461. They're married to some other dude

  462. A dude married to a dude just denying the things of christ

  463. Say how oh man, how did such a thing happen? I'll tell you how they rejected the gospel long ago

  464. They went out from

  465. I've gotten to a point where

  466. I'm thinking of myself like I appreciate the men who have done

  467. You know great things in my life in the old IFB, but you know what?

  468. I gotta prepare myself in case I find out one of these guys ends up being a bad person

  469. I'm not gonna assume that will happen. I just gotta prepare myself in case it does

  470. Because I don't want to be a respecter of people

  471. And just be completely devastated or something if I found something out like that

  472. You say well then what would you do because you said that person was so influential in your life

  473. I'll just say the word of god was influential in my life

  474. That's just what I'll say

  475. I'll say the word of god that this person was preaching influenced my life and that was it

  476. And look, you know, you think of a guy like jack scott anybody who knows who jack scott is

  477. Okay, he was the pastor of first baptist church of ham and the largest fundamental baptist church in america

  478. I don't think in the world but in america for sure

  479. It's the it's the church that jack house pastor. Okay, his son-in-law took over that which is jack scott

  480. This guy's a reprobate. Okay posse reprobate false prophet for a variety of reasons

  481. Okay

  482. It's a major pervert

  483. Sexual pervert. He's also, you know perverting the scriptures and so forth

  484. But you know prior to all this I liked this preaching

  485. I did

  486. And I have pastor friends that also enjoyed his preaching because he was just a dynamic preacher

  487. But you know just because I like that guy's preaching doesn't

  488. You know that doesn't mean that when he was exposed

  489. I'm just like well

  490. I just think he fell because he was just so influential in my life or something. I was like this guy can pertinent hell for all I care

  491. Whatever I got from him, you know, the wealth of the sinners laid up for the just amen

  492. Whatever he taught from the bible that I glean wisdom from I'm just going to give credit to whoever he stole it from

  493. And I'm not going to be like well, you know, he was influential

  494. I do appreciate him for everything that he's a reprobate

  495. And you know, there's a major issue with people like well, you know

  496. He's such a great man jack scott did a lot of great things. Yeah, but folks you can't be a respecter of people

  497. You can't be a respected people

  498. If the guy is an absolute pervert

  499. If he's an apostate if he's denying the word of god, which is exactly what jack scott did

  500. Literally holding a conference called the king james summit in order to discredit the king james bible

  501. We're talking about a fundamental baptist here

  502. You know, he's talking about how you know when god hung jesus on the cross, you know, he hates you

  503. He hates you just just teaching blasphemous things about jesus christ. You know at that point you say well, this guy's an apostate

  504. And not make excuses. Well, you know, we're not for the grace of god bro. Check that guy's history

  505. Whoever says that let's get that guy's computer and check his history real quick

  506. You know, oh man, you know, everyone falls into sin. Let me see your phone, bro

  507. Let me see your let let's do a search history on your phone real quick

  508. Because you're making me very suspicious of you when you start defending pedophiles and apostates

  509. You do well to just be like this guy's gonna get what he deserves pray for the victims and just keep your mouth shut

  510. Or how about just keep your mouth shut period

  511. And just say pray for the victims

  512. Why do you feel like it's important for you to just back up an absolute apostate?

  513. Rather than actually speak up for the victims

  514. It's weird

  515. But let me tell you why because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speak it that's why

  516. And an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringing forth evil things

  517. And he can't help but defend wicked people because he's probably wicked himself

  518. That's how it works

  519. They went out from us for they were not of us for if they had been of us

  520. They would have no doubt continued with us go to first timothy chapter four first timothy chapter four

  521. We'll come back to first john

  522. First timothy chapter four

  523. So the idea when the bible says here that they went out from us they would have no doubt continued with us

  524. It's implying that there is a departure

  525. From the truth right look at first timothy chapter one

  526. I'm sorry first timothy chapter four verse number one says now the spirits speak at the expressly that in the latter times

  527. Some shall depart from the faith

  528. Giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils speaking lies and hypocrisy

  529. I want you to notice this having their conscience seared with a hot iron

  530. So when it says that they departed from the faith, this is referred to apostasy

  531. And I don't believe this is referring to christians, okay

  532. I think it's just saying that in the latter times

  533. People are going to depart from they're going to apostatize because they're allowing themselves themselves to be influenced by seducing spirits

  534. Doctrines of devils and I want you to notice it says that they have their conscience seared with the hot iron

  535. Okay, when you see or something you lose all sensation in it

  536. Right

  537. You see or something is like the the nerves are gone the sensation is gone

  538. This is what Ephesians chapter four renders as what being past feeling

  539. Me you could no longer feel

  540. And this is the equivalent to what we see in roman chapter one that they're given over to a reprobate mind

  541. To do those things which are not convenient. Why can the reprobate?

  542. Why is the reprobate capable of committing them to some of the most heinous of crimes sins and abominations according to the bible?

  543. Because they have a seared conscience

  544. Doesn't bother them anymore. That's why they could commit pedophilia

  545. Beastiality sodomy just disgusting acts because it doesn't bother them

  546. Their conscience is seared with the hot iron

  547. This is the punishment that they receive

  548. Because of their rejection of the truth go back to first jawn if you would

  549. first jawn chapter two

  550. So they would have no doubt continued with us. What does it mean to continue in the faith?

  551. It means that you basically believe the right salvation

  552. The right beliefs about salvation about jesus christ to the very end

  553. It doesn't mean you have to make okay. I gotta keep believing this. I gotta keep believing

  554. I gotta make sure I believe it. Oh, I forgot, you know, it's just

  555. It's referring to the fact that if you have these beliefs

  556. And in the very end of life you deny those beliefs

  557. It means that you didn't really believe them to begin with it was a vain belief as it says in first Corinthians chapter 15

    1 Corinthians 15 chapter mention

  558. Okay, I just think he's off doctrine. You know, a lot of people are off doctrine. It's true

  559. Because people are just off doctrine sometimes, you know, it's believe weird stuff

  560. Believe, you know dispensationalism

  561. Flat earth

  562. Zionism so all kinds of weirds beliefs out there, right? Yeah, amen

  563. But when it says depart from the faith it's referring to like beliefs about the resurrection

  564. So when you have the Corinthian church denying the resurrection, that's a made that's that's a major major problem there

  565. Because part of the gospel

  566. So he's like you believe them vain you're and he specifically says in second Corinthians chapter 13

    2 Corinthians 13 chapter mention

  567. Examine yourselves if you be in the faith

  568. Know you're not your own selves that crisis in you except you be reprobates

  569. So he's saying like you better make sure you examine yourself meaning like you better make sure you're actually saved

  570. Not by your works

  571. Not by your behavior, but by your beliefs

  572. Do you actually believe this?

  573. And look folks sometimes people worry they're like man, I wonder if i'm a reprobate

  574. Are they worried like man am I in this situation? What do you believe?

  575. If you believe the right thing you got nothing to worry about

  576. You're good

  577. And let me also say this, you know if you're worried that you're a reprobate then that's one of the indications that you're not

  578. Because reprobates don't care

  579. They don't care

  580. You know, they're they're they're just like they're good being a reprobate. They're good being a little faggot

  581. They're cool with that

  582. Don't bother them, right

  583. Don't really bother them. They're like that

  584. But if you're struggling is just like well, that's probably an indication that you're not because you're you're just you're just

  585. You know, you're you're you're basically carnal or you know, you're struggling with something

  586. But it doesn't mean that you're a reprobate, okay

  587. It says that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us

  588. So the bible's telling us here that like god is doing us a favor when he exposes these people

  589. Right

  590. So when Kenny Baldwin came out as a pedophile, I was just like thank god that he's exposed

  591. You say why well number one he can't keep harming children, right? And look, you know this

  592. Disgusting pervert would go and preach at churches and just collect numbers of teenagers

  593. You know and there's like these testimonies of people like this pastor said like man

  594. One of my church members was at this conference and he said that Kenny Baldwin gave him his number

  595. And he's like if you ever need anything just let me just just call me and the the teenager felt like really uncomfortable. I was just like

  596. That's kind of weird. You know like why would you do that?

  597. It is weird

  598. And thank god nothing happened, but you know what whatever 15 year old boy is the victim I I guarantee you he's not the only one

  599. That they might be made manifest this is what the bible means in 2 Timothy chapter 3 that these shall proceed no further

    2 Timothy 3 chapter mention

  600. So god just exposes them and you know what it's just like how much more exposure do you need in order to understand that this person's wicked

  601. You're so you know consumed with preserving the reputation of IFP churches and churches this and that

  602. And just being such a godly self-righteous person you forget that you're not loyal to the bible

  603. By defending these pedophiles and perverts

  604. He says they went out from us, you know Judas went out so everyone can know that he's an absolute betrayer

  605. He's a traitor. He's an apostate. He is the son of perdition. God wants you to know that

  606. You know god has a problem with the people are like they go out and just like pray for them

  607. Look at them over there hanging

  608. Look at him just hanging look at his bowels just gushed out poor guy

  609. Man he just

  610. He's the treasurer

  611. God doesn't like that

  612. In i in whose eyes a vile person is condemned. That's what the bible says

  613. The person who dwells on the holy hill is the one who actually hates that person

  614. Because they're a traitor to the christian faith

  615. Okay, and again not every time a person is made manifest. Is it through

  616. Perversion pedophilia

  617. Here's a good way to determine if someone went apostate if they go to a church like this and then become a catholic

  618. That's an apostate

  619. If they become an orthodox

  620. apostate

  621. If they become a Mormon

  622. apostate

  623. Okay, if they become a part of if they become a muslim

  624. Apostate

  625. If you leave the christian faith the beliefs not our church

  626. Not you know this congregation if you are a christian and you abandon you depart from

  627. The fundamentals of the christian faith of salvation the bible the trinity the resurrection the principles of the doctrines of christ

  628. Your apostate according to the bible

  629. I

  630. Look what it goes on to say in chapter 2. This is how we know this is this is the context

  631. Verse 22 says who is a liar but he that denyeth

  632. That jesus is the christ he is antichrist that denyeth the father and the son who served to deny the son

  633. The same as not the father but he that acknowledges the son hath the father

  634. Also, so this is all in the context, right? It's saying if you deny these things then you're not you don't have god

  635. You deny the father and the son you deny the son and you claim to have the father you are apostate

  636. Okay, and we're talking about people who claim to believe these things in times past and no longer believe them

  637. We're not talking about the person you meet at the door who doesn't believe these things

  638. They claim to be an atheist or something like that because they could still be safe

  639. We're talking about someone who made the profession to believe in these things

  640. Got themselves up to be in church at 10 30 in the morning on a sunday

  641. acted like a christian

  642. Went through all the the rig of morrow of being a fundamental baptist

  643. Sung the hymns god of king james bible

  644. Even went out and did some evangelism

  645. That's a person who's claiming to believe these things and doesn't really believe them. That's an apostate right there

  646. That's a person who's denying jesus christ and make no mistake about it

  647. You know god is angry with that person. He's furious with that person

  648. You know years ago. I think it was back in 2018 2019. I might have told the story here. I don't remember

  649. um

  650. But you know we had gone on a mission trip to aruba did I tell the story recently

  651. We went on a mission trip to aruba with pastor anerson and faithful ward and various other churches joined

  652. And it was great, you know, it's just meant a lot of new people and I got paired with the guy and his wife, okay

  653. And you know, we spent a couple. I mean it was like a like a seven-day trip or something like that

  654. And it was great. We got a lot of people saved. Well, this guy was newly married to this girl

  655. And she you know, this is her first time going out first time on a missions trip

  656. She was learning how to sew in then she started preaching the gospel there

  657. And it was just one of those things like man, this is awesome. It's a great trip

  658. and you know

  659. Just good ratings overall just like one of those nice trips, right

  660. A couple months go by

  661. She goes apostate

  662. She just says like I don't believe in any of this

  663. Like I don't believe in cod. I don't believe in Jesus. I don't believe in the bible

  664. I don't believe in any of it

  665. And he I remember him calling like he's just like I'm like devastated like my wife's not saved

  666. And she became extremely wicked ended up divorcing him and and doing all this stuff or whatever and just kind of just being an absolute atheist

  667. Okay, and I remember him explaining. He's like I remember when we came back

  668. You know, uh, she was a stayed-home wife

  669. And she would just listen to you

  670. Pastor Anderson and and Roger. I'll call him Roger right now

  671. You know, he's he would listen to all three of you for hours every single day

  672. Now if you do that

  673. Kudos to you amen. You just got to get rid of the Jimenez one, all right

  674. Because bro's a gooner

  675. You know

  676. That's good when you're listening to preaching right you're feeding the spirit

  677. You are listening to bible content. You're increasing your knowledge

  678. But if you're a person who's not saved though

  679. Right and you're listening to hours on end of the truth and in your heart you're saying that's not true

  680. That's not true. I don't accept that I reject that

  681. And then you tell people oh, yeah, that was good

  682. Oh, yeah, that was a good sermon

  683. But here you don't believe it

  684. You're pissing god off

  685. Because you're making a mockery of the truth

  686. You're making a mockery of the truth, you know, let me see if I can find this verse real quick

  687. I would say talk amongst yourselves, but you shouldn't do that right now

  688. and so, you know, she would listen to the uh

  689. She listened to preaching on end and then after a while

  690. It was like a it was like a switch. It just went off and then she just no longer believed it anymore. I don't know. Oh, here it is

  691. Let's go to uh, ezekiel 33

  692. I don't have any notes. So I'm just

  693. You know trying to remember all these passages here

  694. You know, if you're just listening to preaching and you're reading the bible and then you're also preaching the gospel

  695. And you don't even believe the stuff that you're preaching

  696. You're leading other people to believe these truths or to claim to believe these truths

  697. And and you don't believe it yourself

  698. That's insanity

  699. That's evil

  700. That's like super wicked

  701. Because in your heart you don't really believe it. It's a ezekiel 33 ezekiel 33 folks, you know

  702. It's like someone sitting in here right now

  703. And you just completely hate my guts

  704. Okay

  705. And you just don't agree with what I'm saying. You don't you you just reject it in your heart

  706. But then you come up to me and be like, hey, that was good. That was good

  707. But you're just lying. You're just like lying in your heart. Do you actually believe these things?

  708. You know, god will punish you with strong delusion and you will give you over to a reprobate mind

  709. Look at ezekiel 33. It reminds me of ezekiel 33

  710. And look down your bibles at verse number 31

  711. It says here and they come unto thee as the people cometh

  712. All right, let's go to 30 actually verse 30

  713. Also, thou son of man the children of the people of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls

  714. And in the doors of the houses

  715. And speak one to another every one to his brother saying come I pray you and hear

  716. What is the word that cometh forth from the Lord?

  717. So they hate ezekiel but they're like, oh come talk about the bible

  718. And they come unto thee as the people cometh and they sit before thee as my people and they hear thy words

  719. But they do them not but they will not do them for with their mouth they show much love

  720. But their heart goes after their covetousness

  721. So they're being fakes. They're being phonies, right

  722. And lo thou art unto them

  723. as a very lovely song

  724. Of one that hath a pleasant voice and can play well

  725. On an instrument for they hear thy words, but they do them not. What is he saying?

  726. You know, there's people out there that just like to listen to preaching just because it's entertaining to them

  727. I mean hered

  728. Hered jesus gladly, right or he heard john the baptist gladly

  729. You know a lot of people just like to be entertained by these prophets

  730. But they don't actually believe what's being sated and you know what that make that makes god bad

  731. Yeah

  732. Why because you are making a mockery of the truth

  733. Because the the word of god has a lot of power

  734. Right, and so it penetrates. It's like and it's not just the word of god. It's like the holy spirit using the word of god

  735. And it's like tugging at your heart. It's saying this is true. You need to accept this

  736. Stop messing around stop projecting this and then in your heart you're like

  737. Who does he think he is this is so fake

  738. I hate this, but then you keep coming back for more see

  739. Be not deceived god is not mocked

  740. For what's over a man so that shall we also reap and you know

  741. God doesn't give us like a timeline of when this takes place, but there comes a point where god just like

  742. All right, he's done cut him off

  743. Cut him off

  744. You know, he's he's made such a mockery of the truth

  745. He's not willing to turn when the proof comes when i'm trying to reach him when i'm trying to reach her

  746. They keep rejected in their hearts. They're making a mockery. Look. He's saying that he likes a sermon. That's a lie

  747. He's singing to hymns, but it's a lie. You know what he does just makes him a reprobate

  748. Makes him a reprobate

  749. And you know what? Kenny Baldwin that happened a long time ago

  750. Long time ago

  751. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing

  752. Seeking to take advantage of the innocent. That's a fact

  753. Okay

  754. You know may the word of god never be a very lovely song to you

  755. As an unsafe person and if you like the song just accept the song amen

  756. And look we we've literally had that in our church

  757. We've had people come to our church. Listen to me who were here for years

  758. Teenagers who were here for years

  759. And they never got saved now. They're a complete reprobate

  760. Like well, you know, what do you mean reprobate? I'm talking about they married

  761. You know, they're a girl who married a girl

  762. Sodomite

  763. You say why did that happen? I'll tell you why because there's so much preaching being thundered forth here

  764. It just hardened the heart of that person to the point where they said I don't want it and god gave them over to a reprobate mind

  765. The word of god is powerful, but it's also dangerous to the person who makes a mockery of it as well

  766. Go to heber's chapter three. Let's look at heber's chapter three

  767. It's not that like oh it's just these churches that have these loose environments and you know ccm

  768. Obviously ccm is super gay. Okay

  769. You know the church is super gay

  770. That's that's a fact you're right about that

  771. Okay, and if you don't know what ccm is it's contemporary christian music

  772. Okay, just in case you don't know what that is. It's the really gay music

  773. It's what gay people produce when they claim to be christians

  774. Ccm is what gay people do

  775. The kind of music gay people make when they claim to be christians

  776. Okay, so make sure you remember that the next time you listen to a song

  777. A gay man wrote that it's a very lovely song

  778. Um

  779. So, you know, obviously the these types of churches

  780. Are super gay and all that but at the end of the day at the end of the day folks

  781. The apostate is made through the word of god

  782. You have to like come to grips with that

  783. It's the bible that makes people apostate

  784. I'm not blaming the word of god. I'm blaming the person's

  785. rejection of the word of god

  786. That does that

  787. Look at heber chapter three

  788. And let's look at verse number six

  789. It says but christ as a son over his own house whose house are we

  790. If we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope

  791. Firm unto the end this doesn't mean that we have to hold on to it

  792. It means if you believe this hope hope is that faith until the end then yeah, christ is over you

  793. You are a partaker of christ

  794. He goes on to say in verse seven, wherefore as the holy ghost sayeth today if you will hear his voice

  795. Harden not your hearts as in the provocation in the day of temptation in the wilderness

  796. When your father's tempted me proved me and saw my works 40 years

  797. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation

  798. And they said they do always err in their heart and they have not known my

  799. Waste skip down to verse 12 take heed brethren

  800. Lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief

  801. In departing from the living god

  802. He's and he's talking to christians here, but he's like hey, you better make sure that you are an actual believer though

  803. And you better give he to make sure there's not an evil heart of unbelief to the point where you end up departing from the faith

  804. as an apostate

  805. He says verse 13 but exhort one another daily

  806. While it is called today

  807. Lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin for we are made partakers of christ

  808. If we hold the beginning of our confidence

  809. Steadfast unto the end while it is said today today if you will hear his voice

  810. Harden not your hearts as in the provocation. What is he saying? You know

  811. You got to make sure that you actually believe the right doctrines. You believe the right salvation

  812. Don't just play along

  813. Hey teenagers don't just play along

  814. There's there's no shame and you come into church for this amount of time

  815. And you're like i'm just afraid that you know if i get saved right now

  816. My parents are going to be disappointed. No, they're not going to be disappointed in you

  817. They're going to be extremely happy that you got saved today if you're not

  818. I will be extremely happy

  819. If you got saved today people in our church will be extremely happy if you got saved today and no one's going to be like

  820. What but i thought

  821. Didn't you get saved long ago?

  822. And i can't believe

  823. And even if someone did do that, which would be really stupid

  824. But even if someone did do that you should just be like yeah, but at least i'm saved now though

  825. And he's saying here we need to exhort one another daily, you know part of the exhortations we need to talk about salvation

  826. Talk about salvation. You know, I I got one child right now

  827. Who's not saved?

  828. But it's almost as if they're starting to become awakened to the truth

  829. They start asking questions, you know

  830. And they start saying like

  831. I think I need to get saved

  832. You know or am I going to get saved today?

  833. They'll still say things like that and then you know we'll give them the gospel

  834. We'll teach them but it's not it's still kind of going over their their heads

  835. But you can see the light is starting to wipe because dad always talks about salvation

  836. You know the church constantly talk about the gospel. This is exhorting one another daily

  837. Okay

  838. Look what it says in verse number 16 for some when they had heard

  839. did provoke

  840. How be it not all that came out of the egypt by moses, but with whom was he grieved 40 years?

  841. Was it not with them that had sin whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?

  842. And to whom swear he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that what believe not

  843. So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief

  844. Now what what example is he given here?

  845. He's saying, you know the people in the wilderness before they went into the promise land

  846. They died on the other side

  847. And in fact, there are certain people they were like on the border of the promise land

  848. But they never went in why because of their unbelief

  849. And that is a picture it symbolically represents someone who is hearing the word of god

  850. They refuse to hear it. They refuse to accept it and believe it

  851. And they don't make it to the promise and they don't make it to salvation because of their unbelief

  852. It's a posthumousy go back to first shon

  853. I'm giving you the reality of this

  854. You know doctrine here that this does happen

  855. Okay, and you know

  856. Obviously we should do everything we possibly can to make sure that it doesn't but there's only so much we can do

  857. Right, there's only so much we can do we can preach the bible

  858. We can make salvation as clear abundantly clear as possible

  859. We can talk about it. We can we can do everything we possibly can but at the end of the day people have a free will

  860. And they have to choose to believe these things

  861. Look at second john if you would second john

  862. This would be the last verse because uh, actually, I don't know yet. We'll see I'm not going to speak too soon

  863. Look at verse nine. It says who serve a transgressive and abideth not in the doctrine of christ

  864. Hath not god he that abideth in the doctrine of christ

  865. He has both the father and the son so the bible is telling us here that someone who transgresses they pass over

  866. Right, they go beyond the boundaries of the doctrines of christ. They don't have god

  867. They don't have christ. This is an apostate go to jude if you would the book of jude

  868. You say to yourself

  869. You know, I get what you're saying

  870. But like how can someone like Kenny Baldwin for example?

  871. Just being a church like that

  872. be pastoring a church

  873. Teach the word of god claim to lead people to christ

  874. Talk about the things of god

  875. Be a king james only is

  876. preach at conferences

  877. Do all these things and it just doesn't bother him

  878. You know, don't you think the word of god would have like

  879. Convicted him or he would felt some sort of illumination from that

  880. How is it that he can just continue like that and nothing ever happened? Well, look what it says in verse

  881. Let's see here

  882. verse 13

  883. Actually, let me see here

  884. Look at verse 12. These are spots in your feast of charity

  885. Listen to this when they feast with you

  886. feeding themselves

  887. without fear

  888. You know why they can do this because they have no conscience

  889. They're not afraid of being exposed

  890. They can go to you and be like brother feast with you and there's just no fear whatsoever

  891. This is what I mean when I say the reprobate don't care

  892. If you're afraid is because you have actual fear

  893. You know, you're just like oh man, but this person has no fear of god

  894. They can literally go to conferences feast with you do all these things and they're not scared

  895. Of getting caught why because they're absolute psychopaths

  896. They feast themselves without fear clouds

  897. They are without water carried about of winds trees whose fruit withereth without fruit twice

  898. They plucked up by the words go to 2nd peter chapter 2

  899. 2nd peter chapter 2

  900. 2nd peter chapter 2

  901. Very similar wording here it says in verse 13 and shall receive the reward of unrighteousness

  902. As they they counted pleasure to write in the daytime spots. They are and blemishes

  903. Sporting themselves with their own deceivings

  904. While they feast with you meaning they kind of come to you they have a

  905. A form of godliness they sport themselves with their own deceivings

  906. They try to act and look like a christian, but they're lying to you, but they have no fear of being caught

  907. They don't really care

  908. So that's why we have to really rely upon the lord to expose these people

  909. Right

  910. I mean that's one of the things that I literally have on my prayer list

  911. I pray lord make manifest the folly of the infiltrators

  912. I don't have to do the job myself. I preach the word of god

  913. I preach what the bible says

  914. I try to keep my ear to the ground, but you know what? I'm not on a witch hunt here

  915. I'm not going to be on a witch hunt trying to figure out. Who's the Judas Iscariot?

  916. I don't even think we have a Judas Iscariot, but we might I don't know

  917. But I don't think we do

  918. How can you live like that? I'll tell you how I just got to rely upon the lord to make manifest the folly of the infiltrators

  919. Because this is his church. This is his congregation

  920. This is you know

  921. This is his flock

  922. I'm the under shepherd and I just have to have faith that god will make manifest the folly of the infiltrators

  923. But let me also say this

  924. Just because that's the case doesn't mean you should be careless though

  925. Kids I mean parents watch your kids in church

  926. Don't just let them go in the rooms by themselves with other kids

  927. Don't just let them run amok and go into the dark corners

  928. I know you love the fellowship and you know, we love the fellowship here

  929. But you need to be paying attention to what's going on in our church

  930. But this is a fundamental Baptist church though. This is a new IFB church. How this is a family integrated church

  931. Yeah, and it's inside of a sin-filled world

  932. Where infiltrators actually exist

  933. And I'm not calling anybody an infiltrator here, but you know what just because I don't believe there's infiltrators here

  934. Doesn't mean I'm going to be reckless either

  935. With my parenting, you know, I tell my kids I want to I want you to can I play nope

  936. You you be where I can see you

  937. I want you to go into some dark corner

  938. You know and you know, I don't want you to go to the kitchen

  939. No going to the kitchen no going to the mother-baby rooms alone

  940. With other kids it's not going to happen

  941. And you know what we need to make sure that we're vigilant with our kids regarding that

  942. Just because it's a Baptist church doesn't mean nothing can happen

  943. Oh, is that not here? Yes here

  944. And so yeah, you know, we have confidence that the Lord will make manifest the folly of the Kenny Baldwin's

  945. That absolute perverts, but you know what I don't want him or anybody else to take anybody down with him

  946. And unless kids because of the fact that people are just reckless

  947. Watch your kids

  948. You know watch your kids be vigilant take care of them

  949. Keep an eye on them have rules for them have boundaries for them have guidelines for them

  950. Yeah, but you know, we just trust look

  951. I'm all for trusting people but there has to be a line where you're just like this is one area. We just don't

  952. We don't cross over

  953. Okay, plan is simple. They're like family. I get that but you know what at the end of the day

  954. Those are your kids though

  955. And you know like the people in our church they are like family, but you know

  956. It just that's just a cute saying that we like to say to say we love each other

  957. But I do I love you guys you guys are cool

  958. I like you guys

  959. I like you, you know, but you know what this is this is literally my family though, okay

  960. That's just it, you know, some of you guys are you guys are like my spiritual sons, but that but spiritual emphasis on spiritual

  961. You know

  962. And so we need to make sure we recognize that and not just think well, we're all one big happy family

  963. Yeah, but you know what unfortunately, it's just a sinful world. And so don't be stupid

  964. Okay, be vigilant

  965. Be sober because your adversary the devil walk at the bow seeking whom he made of our

  966. Plain and simple

  967. Okay, all right. Let's let's pray father. We thank you so much for your word lord help us to

  968. Identify the false prophets but recognizes there's only so much we can do and I don't think it's our job

  969. To point out who may be the false prophet in our church because I don't even think there's any

  970. But if there is I have full faith in you that you will make manifest their folly

  971. And we could all we can do is preach the word of god preach the gospel

  972. Not be ignorant

  973. Not give people too much the benefit of the doubt

  974. And and recognize that you know, there's gonna be times where there is a Judas Iscariot that comes through and we may not see it

  975. John didn't see it. Peter didn't see it. James didn't see it

  976. We obviously know the lord Jesus Christ did he knew from the beginning

  977. But I pray that you'd help us as your people to

  978. Be discerning and may you protect us as your flock from the Kenny Baldwin's of this world

  979. pray for the victims

  980. of the people that

  981. He molested lord or or was inappropriate with lord

  982. I pray father god that they would find solace within your word

  983. And I pray that the churches that they're a part of would stand with them and and preach against that wicked reprobate

  984. And maybe bless this as we go on our way. Bless the fellowship and follow in Jesus's name. We pray amen
