  1. He shall surely be put to death and if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand

  2. Then will I appoint thee a place whether he shall flee?

  3. But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbor to slay him with guile

  4. Thou shall take him from my altar that he may die the time of my sermon this morning is

  5. Insanity makes you culpable

  6. Insanity makes you culpable here next to this 21

  7. We find that if a person plans to deliberately and deceptively take a person's life

  8. They are guilty of murder regardless of mental and social conditions. Okay. They're still guilty of murder. It talks about them lying in wait

  9. waiting presumptuously

  10. slaying him with guile

  11. This is these are all phrases that involve what we would call today

  12. Premeditated murder and according to the Bible the person who commits these things is surely put to death. It's a capital crime

  13. That it merits the death penalty according to the Bible go to Daniel chapter 4 if you would

    Daniel 4 chapter mention

  14. Daniel chapter number 4. I'm gonna read you a lot of verses here in my introduction

  15. Regarding the sermon here before we get into Daniel chapter 4 my main points

    Daniel 4 chapter mention

  16. But let's just talk about the death penalty for just a second number one

  17. Let me start off by saying that we as Christians should be pro death penalty

  18. Okay, meaning that we should believe in justice

  19. We believe that the Bible teaches that if a person commits a capital crime that according to God according to his word

  20. Which is our final authority?

  21. They merit the death penalty and no we don't need to figure out whether the person was

  22. Mentally sane or not because according to the Bible the mosaic law does not carve out insanity as being excused to kill people

  23. Okay, you're still held culpable for your crime if you have

  24. Committed murder and even if you think you were insane even if you think you were not in your right mind at the moment

  25. It doesn't matter according to the Bible and it's important for us as Christians to have that worldview

  26. Okay, to understand that this is what the Bible teaches and not allow your emotions to get involved in situations and think to yourself

  27. Well, I know that's what the Bible says, but I just feel well

  28. There's your problem Bible says lean not unto thine own understanding and all thy ways acknowledge him

  29. And he shall direct thy path. It's important for us to recognize that sometimes our emotions can deceive us

  30. The heart is deceitful above all things

  31. Desperately wicked who can know it and so the Bible tells us that because our hearts are often

  32. susceptible to deception

  33. We need to make sure that we govern our hearts according to the Bible and sometimes the Bible goes against the grain of what we

  34. Believe sometimes the Bible rubs us the wrong way

  35. But folks let me just remind you it is the final authority and we need to side with what the Bible says

  36. And if you read the Bible and see what the Bible says regarding something and it

  37. Contradicts what you believe it just kind of goes to show you that you've been conditioned to believe a certain way

  38. Contrary to the word of God and you need to be brainwashed

  39. Okay, you need you need your brain to be washed from the filth of this world

  40. The Bible says be not conformed to this world, but be

  41. Transformed by the renewing of your mind the Bible says, okay

  42. And so it's important for us to recognize that you're like, oh man just the death penalty just sounds so bad though

  43. Like is that Christ's like is that really in the Bible and the answer is yes

  44. The reason you don't know that is because whatever church you've gone to whatever pastor you listen to never talks about it

  45. always stays out of the Old Testament always, you know

  46. You know forbids themselves from talking about controversial things and so it's important for us to preach the entire counsel of God

  47. So you can have a plenary understanding of what the Bible says regarding these issues

  48. Let me read you a couple verses here before we go to Daniel chapter 4

    Daniel 4 chapter mention

  49. Numbers 35 verse 20 says this but if he thrust him of hatred or hurl at him by lying of weight that he died or

    Numbers 35:20

  50. In enmity smite him with his hand that he died he that smote him shall surely be put to death

  51. Listen to this for he is a murderer

  52. The revengeer of blood shall slay the murderer when he meeteth him. Well, that's in the law though pastor

  53. We're not under the law. Well, actually the death penalty existed even prior to the mosaic law being instituted

  54. Genesis chapter 9 verse 6 says this Genesis which comes before

    Genesis 9:6

  55. Exodus which comes before the mosaic law God said this who so shed of man's blood

  56. By man shall his blood be shed for an image of God made he him the Bible says

  57. The Bible is telling us here that if a person murders another individual takes their life

  58. According to the Bible by man's blood a man shall shed his shed his blood and murder that

  59. But not murder but kill that person put them to death for the crime that they've committed

  60. Okay, there's no question that God demands the death penalty for those who commit capital crimes

  61. You say well, okay, you've proven that from Genesis, but what would Jesus say?

  62. What about Jesus that's a that's a big thing, you know the New Testament, okay?

  63. Well, you know Jesus said in Matthew 7 10 to honor your father and mother who so cursed at this father mother let him die the death

  64. That's Jesus

  65. But somehow that's not good enough, huh?

  66. Somehow once you call what Jesus said is like well, you know, I still don't think so it doesn't really matter

  67. How many verses we give people how much evidence we provide at the end of the day?

  68. Usually those don't like what the Bible says

  69. So Moses says it God said it Jesus Christ said it, you know

  70. Various people throughout the Bible were for this they were for the mosaic law

  71. It's up to us as Christians to just embrace it and recognize that this is what the Bible teaches now

  72. It's important for us to make the clarification here that we're not saying the Christians should go out and put people to death

  73. Okay, that's absurd that's nonsensical and you're like well

  74. We live in a society that doesn't really promote the death penalty

  75. So it's kind of irrelevant to say someone deserves the death penalty

  76. No, because the Bible teaches us that we should still preach the counsel of God

  77. Yeah, and when we preach about certain capital crimes deserving the death penalty

  78. It helps people to realize that there are sins and then there are certain sins that are exceedingly sinful

  79. There are certain sins that are not just sinful

  80. They're crimes in the eyes of God to the point where God says this person has forfeited

  81. They're right to live and therefore they should be put to death. Okay

  82. Now you say why are you preaching this?

  83. Well, obviously I'm preaching this because of the whole Lindsey Clancy trial

  84. Obviously the jurors are gonna be deliberating tomorrow and let me just remind everybody in case you don't know, you know

  85. The trial isn't to determine whether she killed her children or not

  86. Let me just repeat that again

  87. the trial is not to determine whether she killed her children or not because

  88. Everyone including Lindsey herself said that she did it

  89. The only people listen to me the only people who are claiming she didn't are tick-tock investigators

  90. True crime tick-tock

  91. Investigators who just think they have all types of evidence, but no one cares about their trial

  92. No one cares about their testimony

  93. No one cares about their evidence because they're tick-tock investigators and no one really cares what they have to say, okay?

  94. Lindsey herself admitted that she did this. Well, the system failed. Oh, well, you know

  95. I failed to realize or see a passage in the Bible that says if a system fails you you're free to just kill your children

  96. Anybody got a verse anybody got some evidence doesn't exist

  97. Okay, and so the trials to determine whether she is criminally

  98. Responsible based on whether she was sane or not

  99. So the trials not about to you know

  100. They're not trying to figure out did she do it or not everyone knows that she did it

  101. The trials there just to simply you know, it's a stupid trial by the way

  102. It's a trial that should not exist at all because it's simply there to determine whether she was in her right mind

  103. You know according to the law and if she wasn't in her right mind then she you know

  104. She's not gonna

  105. You know be charged

  106. Criminally with murdering her children because she was just mentally insane

  107. She'll be institutionalized for the rest of her life and quite frankly even if she were to be found guilty

  108. Meaning that they don't believe she was insane, you know all all that's gonna happen

  109. She's gonna go to prison for the rest of her life

  110. Which according to God is just not enough

  111. Tooth for tooth eye for eye life for life. That's what the Bible teaches

  112. So this morning I want to preach on the subject of insanity and the fact that it still makes you culpable

  113. So let's just say for let's just say hypothetically that she was mentally insane and I do believe she's cuckoo for sure. I

  114. Believe she's insane because you have to be insane to kill your children

  115. You have to be with the Bible calls past feeling

  116. You have to be a reprobate

  117. You have to be just absolutely out of your mind not only to kill your children kill three of them and kill them in the

  118. manner that she did it

  119. Okay, but despite all that let me tell you this insanity still makes a person culpable for their actions

  120. Okay, I'm gonna keep reading here a couple verses before we get into Daniel chapter 4

    Daniel 4 chapter mention

  121. Ecclesiastes chapter 9 verse number 3 says this is an evil among all things that are done under the Sun that there's one event unto all

    Ecclesiastes 9 chapter mention

  122. Yay, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil and

  123. Madness is in their heart while they live and after that they go to the dead

  124. What is the Bible telling us here madness is another way of saying insanity to go crazy

  125. It's just a synonym for that and the Bible saying here that pretty much all of humanity has the potential to go insane

  126. Whether you're a Christian or not whether you're saved or not

  127. Everyone has the potential to just absolutely lose their minds

  128. It's possible for anybody to come under this type of condition and I'm gonna explain to you

  129. I'm gonna show you a bunch of different examples in the Bible both saved and unsaved who just completely lost her mind everyone is subject to this right

  130. Now why do people go insane? Why is it that people lose their minds? Why do they go through a state of psychosis?

  131. Well, I'm gonna give you a couple reasons first and foremost as a form of judgment from God

  132. Okay, so you have to understand this before we could ever even get into the examples

  133. Before we can give a conclusion to this we have to recognize that this is a spiritual thing

  134. Meaning that when people go insane it could be because of the fact that God is punishing them and in fact

  135. Let me read you from Deuteronomy 28 verse 27

    Deuteronomy 28:27

  136. You can write these verses if you want to read them later

  137. Deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 27 says this the Lord will smite thee with the botch of Egypt and with

    Deuteronomy 28:27

  138. Emeralds and with the scab and with the itch whereof thou canst not be healed the Lord shall smite thee listen to this with

  139. madness and

  140. Blindness and

  141. Astonishment of heart the Bible says so this shows us that the source of insanity for a lot of people in this world is God

  142. You see people just going insane. It's possible that God has

  143. Strictened that person with absolute insanity as a form of punishment. He said why would God do such a thing?

  144. Well, I don't know maybe because they're blaspheming God in their heart

  145. Maybe because they're just an absolute wicked person

  146. Maybe because they're a reprobate maybe because they're blaspheming and cursing God and harming others and rejecting the truth and therefore God

  147. Removes their mental faculty so they can no longer function as a normal human being. That's a punishment

  148. He smites them the Bible says with

  149. Madness second Thessalonians 2 verse 10 says this and with all the

    2 Thessalonians 2:10

  150. Seevableness of unrighteousness and them that perish because they receive not the love of the truth that they might be saved and

  151. For this cause listen to this God shall send them strong

  152. Delusions that they should believe a lie that they all might be damned who believe not the truth that have pleasure in

  153. Unrighteousness so according to second Thessalonians chapter 2 the Bible tells us that sometimes God makes people mentally insane

    2 Thessalonians 2 chapter mention

  154. He gives them a strong delusion as a result of their rejection of the truth

  155. So they just continually reject the gospel

  156. Continue to reject that it's by faith in Jesus Christ and then on top of that

  157. They have a hatred for the truth and a love for the lie God says okay

  158. I'll just give you a strong delusion that you should believe a lie and be damned

  159. Now this is different than the God that you hear about in your Sunday school class

  160. You don't really hear this on a Sunday morning in Sunday school class because pastors don't really know how to explain all this

  161. But I'll explain it to you. God just does it

  162. Here I'll explain to you. That's why you shouldn't reject the gospel

  163. Here's a good reason not to reject the gospel aside from the fact that hell is real and

  164. If you reject the gospel you reject salvation

  165. You will go to hell for all of eternity and burn there and be tormented day and night

  166. If you don't believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, here's another thing while you're here on this earth

  167. You can go mentally insane

  168. You can become delusional and it's God's form of punishment on your life for

  169. Rejecting the truth. Okay, so, you know, sometimes people go mentally insane as a form of judgment from God

  170. But also just persisting in sinfulness and sinful activities can cause you to go insane

  171. Ecclesiastes 10 13 says the beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness and the end of his talk is mischievous

  172. Madness another way to describe this would be, you know, if someone is

  173. Delving into, you know, mind-altering drugs

  174. They're, you know, experimenting with LSD. They're experimenting with trumes

  175. They're experimenting with any form of drugs that can just completely change your mind. They can just permanently be fried and

  176. We've seen this if you don't know what I'm talking about go to downtown LA

  177. You see tons of examples lots of illustrations there, okay, and then you think there's a what's wrong with these people

  178. They just seem insane. They are insane and obviously, you know

  179. We can say some of them are demonically possessed and we're gonna get into that in just a bit

  180. But sometimes they just had a bad trip and they stayed on that bad trip

  181. God allowed them to suffer the consequences of their actions of their sinfulness

  182. They destroy their minds look folks. This is why it's important for us to value the virtue of being sober

  183. That means we abstain from alcohol abstain from marijuana abstain from drugs because the Bible exalts being sober and being vigilant

  184. So why do people go insane? Sometimes it's a punishment from God

  185. Sometimes because of the fact that they are just persisting in sinful behavior

  186. Persisting in you know drugs and alcohol it can cause them to go insane. Here's another reason and this is gonna shock you

  187. You know, sometimes people go insane just because they're faking it

  188. Me and they're not really insane

  189. You notice people in this world that just fake being crazy

  190. either because they want to

  191. Get the drugs get the anti-depressants and you know get whatever or just because they want people to sympathize with them

  192. Sometimes people actually fake it now in first salmon 21. We have an example of this of David

  193. feigning himself to be mad and he's literally like, you know

  194. He's allowing like saliva to come out of his mouth

  195. He's scribbling on the doors and they're just like why are you bringing this crazy guy around me?

  196. He wasn't really insane. He just acting like it

  197. But you know you have a lot of people today that feign themselves to be insane as well

  198. Okay

  199. They're just faking it

  200. Here's another reason

  201. It's because of false religion. You know false religion can cause you to go insane

  202. Yeah, how do you know well when you look at the religions of this world and the fact that they actually have followers

  203. You think to yourself these people got to be crazy

  204. The fact that Islam have so many converts

  205. You guys are crazy

  206. The fact that their leader is a pedophile and you're still following that you gotta be crazy

  207. The fact that Mormonism exists and that there's people following Mormonism and doing the holy underwear thing

  208. And believing they're gonna get their own planet and have eternal babies. That's insane

  209. Well, you know what false religion can make people go crazy

  210. Because along with that is just a rejection of the truth

  211. Therefore God allows them to be given over to the lie Jeremiah chapter 50 verse 38 says this a draw is upon her waters

    Jeremiah 50:38

  212. And they shall be dried up

  213. For it is the land of graven images and they are mad upon their idols

  214. Mad meaning crazy insane and look you can go to India

  215. You can go to Southeast Asia and see this all these idols on every corner

  216. Just being performed to just demonic entities demonic idols and you think to yourself

  217. How can these people believe these things? Yeah, because they're crazy. They've gone insane

  218. Their mental faculties are not operating because of the fact that they knew God, but they glorified them not as God neither

  219. We're thankful, but became listen to this vein in their imagination and their foolish heart was darken. Okay?

  220. So sometimes they're faking it. Sometimes it's a judgment from God. It's persistent sinfulness

  221. It's because of false religion. Let me also say this is that physical conditions can affect a person's mental state

  222. Where they think that they're going crazy. I mean think about this, you know, Elijah was so

  223. Emotionally and physically depleted that he literally told God take my life away, right?

  224. And no man ever yet hated his own flesh, but nourished it than cherished it

  225. So obviously he must have been in a very bad physical and mental condition to have those thoughts

  226. Job's physical condition was so profoundly devastating that he said in Job 7 14 15 excuse me

  227. Well, let me read to you from verse 14 then thou scarred me with dreams and

  228. Terrify us me through visions so that my soul chooses strangling and death rather than my life

  229. I loathe it. I would not live all way. Let me alone for my days are vanity now with Elijah the solution to his

  230. You know depression to his mental state. God just said sleep and eat

  231. You just need more sleep you need to get some food in you and then you can be replenished and you know

  232. You'll be fine. How about this fear can often be a result of insanity, you know people who are just paranoid

  233. Just constantly wondering what's going on thinking that people are after them

  234. This is fear

  235. But the Bible says that God didn't give us a spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind, okay?

  236. And look, I've known Christians are just paranoid

  237. I'm known Christians that were so paranoid that you know, they have and look if you have a security system

  238. You know, it's all good, but this this guy was like overkill like he was like Batman

  239. You know, I mean he just had like all these screens in his room

  240. And then he just had all these web and I'm like, have you been threatened? He's like no

  241. I haven't I'm like have people said they're coming after he's like no. No, I'm just getting ready for what? No one knows you

  242. nobody knows you

  243. She's paranoia

  244. But the Bible says perfect love casteth out fear fear has torment the Bible says

  245. And so people can go insane because of fear they become paranoid they become so overly worried

  246. That they lose their minds

  247. The Bible tells us in Leviticus chapter 26 verse 36 and upon them that are left alive of you

    Leviticus 26:36

  248. I will send a faintness into their hearts in the land of their enemies and the sound of a shaken leaf

  249. Shall chase them and they shall flee as fleeing from a sword and they shall fall when none pursue it

  250. Here's another reason why people go insane and this is very common and that is demonic possession

  251. Sometimes people absolutely lose their minds because they're possessed by devils. Yes, that's a real thing

  252. Okay, and an often worse in conjunction with drugs

  253. You know, like I don't know if this person is on drugs or the demon possessed. Yes

  254. Yes, because sometimes it's the drugs that kind of opens up the door to demonic possession

  255. Okay, the Bible says in Matthew chapter 4 verse 24 and his fame went throughout all Syria

    Matthew 4:24

  256. And they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with diverse diseases and torments and those which were possessed with

  257. Devils and those which were lunatic and those that had the palsy and he healed them

  258. And lastly, let me say this is that people go insane because they're reprobates

  259. Okay, meaning that they have been rejected by God indefinitely for salvation because of their rejection of the truth

  260. Romans 128 tells us this even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge

  261. God gave them over to a reprobate mind to do those things which are not convenient

  262. And so that's important to note there as well

  263. Sometimes people are just mentally insane because of the fact that God removed their conscience

  264. Their conscience is seared according to the Bible

  265. They don't have the mental capacity to differentiate between good and evil because they have a reprobate mind

  266. Okay, so the point being here is that people go insane for a variety of reasons

  267. But in every single instance if they're to commit a crime, they're still culpable for that crime

  268. If they murder someone they are supposed to be held responsible for that murder doesn't matter how insane they were

  269. Okay, now let's look at a couple examples of people who lost their minds in the Bible. You're in Daniel chapter 4

    Daniel 4 chapter mention

  270. Let's talk about Nebuchadnezzar. Okay

  271. Nebuchadnezzar was made insane by God because of his pride and unwillingness to repent and correct his ways

  272. Look at verse 27. It says, wherefore, O King, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee and

  273. break off thy sins by righteousness and

  274. Iniquities by showing mercy to the poor it may be a lengthening of thy tranquility

  275. So Nebuchadnezzar is a pretty godless person. He's a very angry individual short fuse

  276. power-hungry and the guy is just extremely arrogant

  277. Unmerciful you could read the chapters prior to this and so he he you know

  278. He is boasting. He's prideful and they're basically saying hey, you know if you act

  279. Righteously as a king this doesn't mean he's saved, but if you act righteously you show mercy to the poor, you know

  280. God can lengthen your peace

  281. He can lengthen the peace of mind that you'll have here on this earth, right?

  282. You can live out your day. He's just living in peace and I don't believe this is God dealing with Nebuchadnezzar as a

  283. Saved person. I do believe that God just deals with

  284. magistrates and kings and presidents in their own

  285. Type of position where if they act righteously, you know, God can bless that nation

  286. He can bless that individual and so forth and I believe that's what's taking place here

  287. He's saying hey, you know repent of your ways stop being a wicked person and you'll lengthen your peace your tranquility your

  288. soundness of mind verse 28 says this came upon the kingdom of Nebuchadnezzar at

  289. The end of 12 months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon

  290. The kings vacant said is not this great Babylon that I have built for the house of the kingdom

  291. By the might of my power and for the honor of my majesty

  292. So what's going on here? You know he the prophet tells them. Hey

  293. Repent get right. Don't be arrogant

  294. You know be good to the poor break off your sins by righteousness and for a full 12 months. He just ignores this

  295. So I would say that God is being pretty merciful to Nebuchadnezzar

  296. Now what's the principle there that we can learn that's outside of this sermon?

  297. I'll tell you what, you know, just because God hasn't punished you right now for your sin doesn't mean you're not gonna get it

  298. You might be in the fifth month

  299. You might be in the sixth month. You might be in the ninth month. Hey, you might be in the 11th month

  300. Don't think just because God has not punished you

  301. That just automatically means that he places his stamp of approval on your actions

  302. Because the Bible says here that on the 12th month when he walked out and he said these things evil came upon him

  303. What does he say? He said, oh man, this Babylon is because of me. I did this. No Nebuchadnezzar

  304. God did it not because he likes you not because he favors you, but because it's working towards his ultimate plan

  305. verse

  306. 31 says while the word

  307. Was in the king's mouth there fell a voice from heaven saying oh

  308. King Nebuchadnezzar to thee it is spoken the kingdom departed from thee

  309. And they shall drive thee from men and thy dwelling shall be with the beast of the field

  310. And they shall make thee to eat grass as an oxen and seven times shall pass over thee until down

  311. No, it's that the most high rule it in the kingdom of men and give it to whomsoever he will

  312. So as he's just boasting about his greatness and how he's awesome. God just speaks to him and

  313. He basically says like you're gonna be punished for this. I'm gonna remove your sanity

  314. I'm paraphrasing verse 33 the same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar and he was driven from men and

  315. Did eat grass as an oxen and his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hairs were grown like eagles feathers and his nails

  316. Like birds claws

  317. So what do we have here? We have that he just completely goes insane. He thinks himself to be an animal

  318. So he goes from being this awesome king

  319. This conquering king this powerful magistrate to being reduced to acting like an absolute animal

  320. He becomes a vegetarian his nails grow his hair grows

  321. He just looks absolutely horrendous even to the point where his subjects are just kicking them out

  322. They don't want nothing to do with them. Why because he went insane. He went crazy

  323. His insanity was a punishment for his pride and his sin now

  324. This is actually today referred to clinically as

  325. Boanthropy

  326. Okay, where people say, you know, there's been people throughout history that they thought that there were like a cow or an ox

  327. And they start literally eating grass

  328. You know like a cow like an ox and there's actually a recorded

  329. Instance of this in the 11th century with the ruler from Persia

  330. Who basically thought he was a cow and he would eat grass like an ox and everything?

  331. I believe it was God's punishment on that person for doing so. Okay, and you know what you say

  332. Well, do you have any modern examples? Well, you know furbies are kind of like that, right?

  333. Well, is that what they're called furries furries not fur piece furries

  334. Furries are the little animals, right?

  335. Furries are an example of this or just people who just think that they're animals

  336. You know these these reprobates who just want to be you know a call the dog

  337. They want to be called a cat they want to identify themselves as some sort of animal, you know

  338. This is a curse upon them. They're acting like animals and God saying okay because you've rejected the truth

  339. I'm gonna make you go insane and

  340. Yeah, they're not being driven physically from society, but society's looking and saying you're weird

  341. You're a freak. What is this?

  342. You know, I know a furry, you know, yeah, you know an insane person

  343. It's insane

  344. It's God's punishment on that person because that's embarrassing

  345. Okay, it's embarrassing to frolic like a little fox

  346. It's a frolic like a deer or something act like you know, put the little

  347. Ears on your head and act like you have a tail and all this that's nonsense

  348. It's embarrassing stop doing that and parents don't let your kids get involved in being a furry

  349. You're a grown man

  350. Walking around with the tail. What is that?

  351. Bring bullies backing man

  352. I

  353. Why do people go insane? I'll tell you why because I reject the truth

  354. But here's a clear example of someone who went insane not because he had some sort of chemical imbalance

  355. Not because the system failed him not because of any of that. It's because he disobeyed God

  356. Prideful and arrogant and rebellious God exalted him to the position of being a king of

  357. Conquering all these nations. He gives no glory to God and God says okay

  358. You want to take credit? Then I'll just make you an ox for seven entire years

  359. Bro became a vegetarian for seven entire years

  360. Where he's just eating grass like an ox looking like an absolute beast just completely embarrassing himself

  361. Living out there like an animal, okay?

  362. You know and by the way homos act like animals

  363. So you can see how that's like associated with that. Yeah, they act like animals and

  364. So this is part of the punishment, okay?

  365. Like anthropy or broanthropy is what it's often called like anthropy is just when people think they're transitioning into becoming an animal

  366. This is what's happening to Nebuchadnezzar go to 1st Samuel chapter 16 first Samuel chapter 16

    1 Samuel 16 chapter mention

  367. We would look at Nebuchadnezzar today and say that guy went

  368. Mentally insane that person is crazy. Would we say oh put him on anti-depressants put on you know

  369. Give him some medication. No get right with God

  370. And in fact it wasn't until the seven years are over that Nebuchadnezzar gave glory to God

  371. He gave credit to the God of heaven

  372. Recognized that he's the only deity and what happened his saying is his mind which is reason the Bible says returned unto him

  373. Because God is able to just flip the switch

  374. And say, okay now you're thinking right? Let me just flip the switch and guess what he

  375. Reinstated him to his former glory. He became the king again

  376. His life was restored as normal as before but it took an entire seven years for him to get right

  377. He didn't need medication. He didn't need pills. He didn't need the apothecary

  378. He didn't need a sorcerer. He needed the great physician and he needed to get right with God

  379. Insanity sometimes plays out because people are just rebellious against the Lord. That's why and let me say this

  380. Obviously Nebuchadnezzar is an unsaved example, but I'm I guarantee you there's an example of saved people doing this

  381. And in fact, we're gonna look at one right now

  382. Let's look at example number two of someone going absolutely insane and that is Saul

  383. Saul's probably the greatest example of all of these okay

  384. Look at first Sammy chapter 16 verse 14

  385. It says then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him referring to David in the midst of his brethren

  386. And the spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward so Sammy rose up and went to Ramah now

  387. We obviously know that Saul was the first king of the United Kingdom of Israel and he started off great

  388. He was head and shoulders above the rest. He was a humble person

  389. He was little in his own sight the Bible says I mean the guy had a great beginning

  390. But then pride snuck into his heart

  391. Rebelliousness snuck into his heart and he began to disobey the Lord

  392. He wasn't carrying out the commandments of God and therefore God ended up punishing him and in fact part of his sin

  393. Was that he was envious?

  394. Towards David

  395. Now God had already determined once Saul disobeyed him that the kingdom of God was gonna be taken from him and given to David

  396. Okay, which is why David is being anointed at this time

  397. But even though David is one being anointed, you know Saul still has to fulfill his term so to speak

  398. So he's still the king even though David is the runner-up after he goes away

  399. I look at verse 14 says the spirit of the Lord

  400. departed from Saul and an evil spirit from the Lord

  401. Troubled him and Saul's servant said unto him behold now an evil spirit from God

  402. Troubly, let our Lord now command the servants

  403. Which are before thee to seek out a man who is a cunning player on a harp and it shall come to pass when the evil

  404. Spirit from God is upon thee that he shall play with his hand and that shall be well

  405. So, you know he the Lord departs from him in the sense of God's power is no longer with him

  406. Now people often point to this and say well isn't this proof that

  407. Saul was not saved because the spirit of the Lord departed from him

  408. No, because in the Old Testament when people got saved the Holy Spirit would come and regenerate them

  409. Bring their dead spirits to life, but he wouldn't necessarily live within them as he does with us today

  410. The part of salvation that the Holy Spirit plays in is that he regenerates the dead spirit

  411. You know the Bible tells us you hath he quickened who were dead

  412. Interest passes in sin not by works of righteousness, which we have done

  413. But according to his mercy he saved us by the washing and regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost

  414. So the Holy Spirit comes at the moment of salvation

  415. Brings your spirit to life and that's it

  416. But in the New Testament the Bible tells us that he sealed there until the day of redemption

  417. The major difference between the two is the temple

  418. Tabernacle and temple the Bible says in the New Testament that we're the temple of the Holy Ghost

  419. Which we have of God and we are not our own the temple in the Old Testament was a literal physical building

  420. So God's presence in the Old Testament was in that physical tabernacle and temple

  421. Well since our bodies of the temple in the New Testament the Holy Spirit resides within us

  422. And so in the Old Testament when the Holy Spirit would save people he would do the same exact way that he does it today

  423. The difference is he would not abide in them as he does in the New

  424. He would come upon them in order to give them wisdom

  425. Courage boldness and so forth, but that was it

  426. So when the Bible says here that the spirit of the Lord departed from Saul

  427. It means that he's not a spirit filled person anymore

  428. And then God sends an evil spirit

  429. A demonic spirit to oppress him

  430. Okay

  431. Now the funny thing is is that you know the servants see this they're like oh man this guy's tripping out

  432. You know

  433. He's got like an evil spirit on him. And what do they do? They're like he needs antidepressants

  434. You know he needs antidepressants

  435. He needs you know, we need to take him to the doctor. He needs a psychiatrist

  436. He needs a therapist because what they're doing is creating a solution with music, but it doesn't really do anything

  437. Chills him out for a moment, but it doesn't really take care of the job

  438. Because he's listening to it, you know, he calms down for a little bit

  439. But then later on he goes on his murderous spree. They're after

  440. You know, and this is kind of like your pharmaceutical industry

  441. Where people pay millions of thousands and millions of dollars for medication doesn't do anything

  442. They're still depressed. They're still angry. They still got mental issues does absolutely nothing but put

  443. Money into the pockets of those who are promoting it, you understand and so look at chapter 18 if you will chapter 18

  444. First Sammy chapter 18 look at verse 7 it says in the woman

  445. Answered one another as they played and said Saul has slain his thousands

  446. And david his 10,000 so david comes back from a war

  447. And you know david's he is a mighty warrior gods with him

  448. He's a man's man. He's taking care of business. He's not the king. He's subject them to saul

  449. But you know, he's famous. He's famous in the congregation so to speak

  450. And so, you know, he has these fans

  451. Who are making songs about him and one of the songs is just like, you know, hey, saul slain

  452. He slew his thousands, but david is 10 thousands. In other words, they're giving him more credit

  453. Than what saul has accomplished. Oh, you know, look in my opinion though

  454. If I was saw I'd be like, yeah, he works for me. So he's supposed to be doing the bulk of the work

  455. You know, he's working for the kingdom. We're on the same team

  456. It doesn't matter how many people I've slain or he slain we're both on the same team

  457. But because he has the evil spirit because he's envious it's bothering him

  458. Look at verse 8 and saul was very wroth wroth means that he's wrathful

  459. And the same displeased them and he said they have ascribed them to david 10 thousands

  460. And to me they have ascribed with thousands and what can you have more about the kingdom?

  461. He's just being just kind of throwing a fit

  462. Why don't you guys just give him the crown already?

  463. You know, he's like throwing a little fit verse nine and saul

  464. I david from that day forward. What does it mean to I am? It means that he's envious of him

  465. He's just kind of like

  466. Those guys think he is, you know, he's suspicious of him. He's envious of him

  467. It's because of that evil spirit verse 10 says and it came to pass on the morrow

  468. That the evil spirit from god came upon saul and he prophesied in the midst of the house

  469. And david played with his hand as at other times and there was a javelin in saul's hand. So, you know, he has the evil spirit

  470. He's being tormented. He's in a bad mood. He's angry. He's wrathful

  471. So he's doing what the servants basically recommended which is to listen to some music

  472. And david's there, you know, he's playing with the harp and the bible says here that saul is prophesying

  473. Prophecying in the bible doesn't mean just preaching. It actually also means to sing

  474. Which is why we have him prophesying while david played

  475. So he's trying to sing his favorite song or whatever

  476. But he has a javelin in his hand

  477. Okay

  478. verse 11 says and saul cast the javelin for he said

  479. I will smite david even to the wall with it and david avoided out of his presence twice

  480. So he's just like, you know, he's singing and then he's just like

  481. I mean david is pretty awesome to be able to like hit those keys and still move out of the way

  482. Twice

  483. You're like, well, you know the system failed saw though

  484. I know he was trying to kill david, but you know, it wasn't the right song david should have played something else

  485. There's a particular song that he wanted that's probably what it was

  486. He wasn't playing that who put that javelin in his hand

  487. Who who put those conditions? I don't think it was saw. I think it was jonathan

  488. It was jonathan who did that not saw

  489. But saul took responsibility wasn't him though. It was his wife

  490. Verse 11 says and saul cast the javelin for he said I will smite david even to the wall with it and david avoided out of his

  491. Presence twice and saul was afraid of david because the lord was with him and was departed from saul

  492. Therefore saw removed him from him and made him his captain over a thousand

  493. And he went out and came in before the people and david behaved himself wisely in all his ways and the lord was with him

  494. So, you know saw so paranoid

  495. By david that he's just like I don't even want him to play for me anymore

  496. Just have him be you know a captain so I don't have to see him because I'm just worried about him

  497. I'm scared of him. I'm afraid of him because it's that evil spirit that is tormenting him go to chapter 19 chapter 19

  498. And look at this whole thing no one's sympathizing with saul

  499. Who we're sympathizing with david

  500. He's the one that merits the sympathy

  501. The bible says that he's behaving himself wisely in all his ways that the lord is with him that god is with him

  502. He's protecting him

  503. There's not like a band of servants outside of the kingdom

  504. for saul

  505. Right no, it's just like free my boy saul

  506. Look at verse 8 of chapter 19 and there was war again

  507. And david went out and fought with the philistines and slewed them with the great slaughter and they fled with him from him

  508. And the evil spirit from the lord was upon saul

  509. And as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand and david played with his hand

  510. And saul sought to smite david even to the wall with the javelin

  511. But he slipped away out of saul's presence and he smote the javelin into the wall and david fled and escaped that night

  512. saul also sent messengers unto david's house

  513. To watch him and to slay him in the morning

  514. And macau david's wife told him saying if thou save not thy life tonight tomorrow thou shall be slain

  515. So macau let david down through a window and he went and fled and escaped so again. He's trying to kill david

  516. He's not in his right mind. He's demonically

  517. Oppressed his mind isn't all there. He's not acting the way he's supposed to act

  518. But you know what he's still responsible for this

  519. He's mentally insane. He's not behaving

  520. Appropriately. He's not behaving sanely

  521. He has an evil spirit upon him yet. He's trying to carry out a literal murder upon an innocent individual

  522. And he's culpable for that go to chapter 20 chapter 20

  523. And then we're going to go to 22 look at first sam at 20 verse 33

  524. First sam at 20 verse 33

  525. Insanity makes you culpable verse 33 says in saul

  526. Cast the javelin add him to smite him whereby jonathan knew that it was determined of his father to slay david

  527. He's like well, you know trying to kill david, you know

  528. All right, i'm not for that, but you know, it's not really that bad, right? I mean well, how about trying to kill jonathan his own son?

  529. You're insane

  530. He's trying to kill

  531. His own son everyone with me here

  532. His own flesh and blood his own son why because he's crazy

  533. Go to chapter 22 chapter 22

  534. Here is the

  535. You know the degradation of saul. He just went from being a great king

  536. an awesome king

  537. A wonderful king a righteous king

  538. To just being an absolute insane

  539. murderous

  540. Backslidden godless person

  541. Like well, you know, okay, you know david. I get that you know that's pretty bad jonathan. Okay. I see the tide that you're making there

  542. But really, you know, it's just maybe he's just being irrational. Yeah, you think

  543. He's being a little irrational

  544. But look what it says in verse 13 of chapter 22 and saul said into him

  545. Why have he conspired against me?

  546. Thou and the son of jessie and that thou has given him bread and a sword and has inquired of god for him

  547. That he should rise against me to lie and wait as at this day's being paranoid here

  548. Then a himilek answered the king and said and who is so faithful?

  549. Among all thy servants is david

  550. Which is thy king's son-in-law and go without at thy bidding

  551. And is honorable in thine house. So, you know david came and a himilek helps him out

  552. He gives him bread. He gives us his guy's bread. He gives him food to eat

  553. And saul is just super bothered by this. He's like, how could you do this to me?

  554. How can you conspire with david? You guys are trying to kill me and the himilek has no idea what's going on

  555. He's just like, isn't this your son-in-law?

  556. I thought you would want me to feed your son-in-law. Who's the captain and his men. What's wrong here?

  557. Verse 15 says did I then begin to inquire of god for him be afar from me

  558. Let not the king impute anything unto his servant

  559. Nor to all the house of my father for thy servant knew nothing of all this less or more

  560. And the king said thou shalt surely die a himilek thou and all thy father's house

  561. Talk about overreacting

  562. And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him turn and slay the priests of the lord

  563. Because their hand also is with david because they knew when he fled and did not show it unto me

  564. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the lord

  565. And the king said to doeg turn now and fall upon the priests and doeg the eat of my turn

  566. And he fell upon the priests and slew on that day

  567. Four score in five persons that did wear a linen e-fod

  568. Who just murdered a bunch of priests for no good reason

  569. Now you think to yourself well, you know if he's trying to kill david

  570. He didn't succeed. He tried to kill jonathan didn't succeed

  571. Yeah, but he actually succeeded in murdering a bunch of innocent men here though

  572. priests of the lord

  573. Oh, but it doesn't stop there

  574. It says in verse 19 and knob the city of the priest

  575. Smote he with the edge of the sword listen to this both men and women

  576. Children and sucklings

  577. An oxen and asses and sheep with the edge of the sword go to first chronicles chapter 10 first chronicles chapter 10

1 Chronicles 10 chapter mention 1 Chronicles 10 chapter mention

  578. Insanity moves all to murder

  579. It's not because they didn't play the right song. It's not because the system failed him. He's the king

  580. It's not because it's his own rebellion. It's his own godlessness. It's his own sinfulness his unwillingness to repent

  581. Made him go insane and you know what god holds him responsible

  582. And look you say well, doesn't it say that the evil spirit from the lord came onto him?

  583. Yeah, but it's working in conjunction with his sinful condition though

  584. Because it's not like Saul is just a robot

  585. Under the oppression of a demon carrying out these things

  586. He knows exactly what he's doing

  587. Look at first chronicles chapter 10 verse 13

    1 Chronicles 10:13

  588. So Saul died listen to this for

  589. His transgression which he committed against the lord

  590. Even against the word of the lord which he kept not and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit to

  591. Inquire of it. What does that mean? It means that he was culpable. He's responsible

  592. Insanity demonic oppression

  593. demonic troubling

  594. No matter what you can come up with he still held responsible for his actions and look folks

  595. Lindsey Clancy, you might say she was insane. She was going through postpartum depression

  596. She was in in a right mind medication this medication that according to the bible

  597. You have to have this right position, which is that she still deserves the death penalty

  598. It's still her fault

  599. The system failed her I can point you to a bunch of people who system

  600. You would say the system didn't fail them and they came out of it just fine. What about that?

  601. Oh her husband fell there. Well, you know what that might be true, but she's still responsible for her actions

  602. You know what we need to stop letting our wives

  603. Just go online and just go through every single conspiracy

  604. Every single tiktok video

  605. Every single instagram video every single conspiracy theory to just come up with all these wild narratives

  606. Look folks women have a tendency

  607. Women have a tendency just go overboard on that stuff

  608. Because they're just emotional beings

  609. You know, they watch a couple of forensic files and all of a sudden they're just experts

  610. on finding the killer

  611. And we live in a society that just absolutely saturates their minds with any form of conspiracy whatsoever

  612. I'm surprised aliens haven't gotten involved in this

  613. I'm surprised Jeffrey Epstein isn't involved in this conspiracy. I'm surprised that somehow

  614. Trump isn't involved in this somehow

  615. It's crazy

  616. It's absolutely insane. You're like, oh man. I feel like my wife. Well, then just keep her off the internet

  617. And then you know you ladies out there's like, oh, what do you mean keep them like keep them off?

  618. Like you're not allowed to go on the internet

  619. I mean, that's what I told my wife and my wife had the right position on this

  620. You know, my wife understood that she's 100 guilty, you know

  621. But here's the thing my wife is a woman whose heart

  622. You know her heartstrings can be pulled in the wrong direction

  623. And she has to like intentionally say like this isn't a right way of thinking

  624. I need to think biblically about these things and why does she feel that way?

  625. I'll tell you why because it's just all over the internet. It's on youtube

  626. It's constantly being talked about it's all these articles and then when she told me I said, all right, you can't go on there anymore

  627. Case closed. Oh, what are you some kind of dictator? Yes

  628. Yes, I am

  629. You know because I need to protect my wife's heart her mind her emotions because we have six kids

  630. She has a ton of responsibilities and I can't have an overly emotional wife

  631. Just completely breaking down every single day because of what's taking place. I need her mind to be fresh. Amen

  632. On the things of god reading the word of god spending time with our kids

  633. Fellowshiping with their awesome husband, you know things of that nature

  634. Cooking cleaning doing that. Oh man. This sounds so chauvinistic. I can't believe yeah

  635. Well, go ahead and look outside the courtroom of Lindsey Clancy. And if you don't do it this way, that's what you'll get

  636. pink shirts

  637. Throwing hearts at a murderer

  638. insanity

  639. crazy

  640. The virus is keep thy heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life

  641. You know what it means to keep means guard your heart

  642. Why because deception is rampant and you know who satan always goes for first and foremost the woman

  643. Prove it eve

  644. Case closed

  645. Adam was not deceived but the woman being deceived was in the transgression

  646. That's what the bible says

  647. And that's why it's important for us as husbands to do our part to protect our wives and you know, you're like, I'm just too scared

  648. Can you tell her no I gotta tell her you need to stand up to your wife

  649. Can you just say can you just say that to her please? No, I didn't marry her you did

  650. What is that?

  651. You tell your wife

  652. I'm not saying be mean to her anything like that. You know, I'm just saying like you need to go to your wife and say

  653. Hey, we're done with this

  654. You're not looking this stuff up anymore. Right. Okay. This is it's over with I'm checking the history and you better not be on it

  655. Because it's going to destroy their minds

  656. And all this is and look folks look you think well the people out there in the court, you know outside the courtroom

  657. They're just deceived. No, they're reprobates

  658. A lot of these people are just agitators

  659. They're agitators that are just meant to go there and just spread feminism and godlessness and try to control the narrative

  660. Because they know how easily persuaded people can be

  661. And they know when there's a lot of numbers of these people. Oh, it must mean it's true then

  662. false my friends

  663. Okay

  664. You know and again look look she's not even claiming that she didn't do it

  665. Right

  666. So you stop defending someone who claims that she they did it

  667. I just think it was the husband. I just think it was you know aliens. I just think it was bigfoot. I just think

  668. And then when people finally come to realization we're like, okay, yeah, she did it, but the system still failed her well

  669. Wrong wrong in wrong opinion wrong opinion

  670. The opinion needs to be biblically based

  671. The biblically based opinion and statement that we need to make is that

  672. Three children were killed by their mother. Therefore she deserves the death penalty

  673. Case closed

  674. Who cares about the system?

  675. Who cares about you know, there's a lot of people in this world who actually had it worse than her

  676. Just remember that

  677. This woman had a lot of money. She had a nanny. She had all types of things. Look folks

  678. I know people. I know moms who had it way worse than that

  679. Who did not have those resources. They didn't have that help

  680. They didn't have all the glitz and the glamour and you know what they turned out just fine

  681. The point being here is we need to stop standing with murderers

  682. We need to recognize that this is

  683. You know part of satan's agenda to cause women and cause society to just

  684. empathize with absolute criminals

  685. To empathize with murderers to hate children

  686. It's crap a bunch of nonsense

  687. You're like, well, I don't like what you're saying. Well, you're just gonna have to like refute what i'm saying according to the bible though

  688. Because it's in the bible and i'm not interested in your emotions or your emotional explanation to this

  689. I'm not interested in how you feel. I'm interested just not in this particular case

  690. I'm not interested in, you know, well, I just feel as though

  691. You know and look folks again. I do believe women go through post-partum depression for sure. That's a legitimate thing

  692. I'm not undermining that at all

  693. That's a real thing and it makes me thankful that i'm not a woman, you know

  694. Because women are emotional for sure

  695. And if women you're offended at that, I don't know why because you know that's a fact

  696. And everyone around you knows that too

  697. We all know that that's that's that's just part of the fall

  698. Look at all the men looking around to see if women are offended or whatever

  699. Don't trip. You're good

  700. male oriented

  701. You know, I know that that's a thing. I get it for sure. But you know what?

  702. Doesn't justify strangling three children and you'll never be able to convince me of that

  703. Well, who are you to speak on these things a pastor someone who knows the bible?

  704. You know a man

  705. And you know, I'm sick and tired of hearing men should not be talking about these things

  706. Oh, yeah, but you're okay with the man performing an abortion though, huh?

  707. Ain't that right? It's called hypocrisy

  708. And I'll speak on these things as much as I so please

  709. And the more you, you know, give me the looks the more you criticize me the more I'm gonna do it

  710. All right, go to act chapter five now that I made half the women mad in our church

  711. We'll work on the other half at the end here

  712. Hey, it's true folks

  713. We need to cast down imaginations every high thing that exalted itself against the knowledge of god

  714. We need to bring into captivity every thought to the obedience of christ

  715. So the bible says the bible teaches that if there's an ideology that contradicts the word of god

  716. We need to go with what the word of god says

  717. Regardless of how many millions and millions of people don't agree with that

  718. And I get it, you know, you're a lady in our church and you're just like, oh man, this is just oh

  719. I don't know about this, you know, just give it some time

  720. Just look at what the bible says

  721. Say lord help me to accept the truth because it is there

  722. This is the biblical position. I'm just bothered by it

  723. And I get it

  724. I get I get why you would be bothered by it because the society has conditioned women to think contrary to the word of god

  725. So I get it

  726. But you know, I recommend for you to spend time meditating on the bible not making excuses for it

  727. Well the cultural context the cultural context is murders is always wrong

  728. All right, here's another example of insanity a form of insanity should we say

  729. Is ananias and sapphira

  730. Okay, and you know, I couldn't say that they are they would be considered clinically insane

  731. But this is an example of people who were influenced

  732. By demonic entities to carry out a specific thing

  733. Look at acts chapter five verse one and certain man named ananias with sapphire his wife sold a possession

  734. And kept back part of the price his wife also being privy to it and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles feet

  735. But peter said to ananias

  736. Why have satan filled thine heart to lie to the holy ghost?

  737. And to keep back part of the price of the land

  738. Whilst the remain wasn't not thine own and after it was sold wasn't not in thine own power

  739. Why has thou conceived this thing in thine heart?

  740. Thou has not lied unto men but unto god and ananias hearing these words said the system failed me

  741. My parents failed me

  742. No, he fell down and gave up the ghost

  743. Now it says here that satan filled his heart

  744. to lie

  745. And the interesting thing here is that peter says why

  746. Has satan filled thine heart to lie into the holy ghost

  747. Meaning that there had to be some sort of invitation from ananias to do this

  748. Working in conjunction with satan in order to lie into the holy ghost

  749. So we could say oh, oh man, you know, this person was just demonically possessed

  750. They were demonically oppressed satan deceived them well ananias still suffered the consequences of that though

  751. He fell down and gave up the ghost because he's the one

  752. He is the body that carried out this lie. Okay

  753. It says in verse number five and ananias hearing these words fell down gave up the ghost and great fear came upon all

  754. Them that heard these things and the young men arose and wound them up and carried them out and buried him

  755. It was about the space of three hours after when his wife not knowing what was done came in

  756. And peter answered her unto her tell me whether you sold the land for so much and she said yay for so much

  757. Then peter said into her

  758. How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the spirit of god?

  759. And this is the most you know mafia cold statement here behold the feet of them

  760. Which have buried thy husband or at the door and shall carry the out

  761. And of course she ends up dying as well

  762. She's carried out even though they were influenced by demonic entities. It doesn't matter go to luke chapter 22

    Luke 22 chapter mention

  763. luke 22 if you would

  764. Luke chapter 22

    Luke 22 chapter mention

  765. Insanity still means that you're culpable. It still means you're at fault

  766. Even if you say well, it was for that short duration period of time that I was insane. Oh, how convenient

  767. The you were just completely mentally insane for that short window of time

  768. Not necessarily before and not necessarily after it's called being calculated there. Okay

  769. But let's look at an example here. Judas Iscariot is a prime example

  770. Of someone who is possessed by satan himself

  771. And carried out a betrayal that led to someone's murder

  772. okay

  773. Luke 22 verse 1 says and now the feast of 11 bread drew nigh

    Luke 22:1

  774. Which is called the Passover and the chief priests and scribes saw how they might kill him for they feared the people

  775. Then entered satan into Judas sir named miscaria

  776. Being of the number of the 12 and they went his way

  777. And he communed with the chief priests and captains how he might betray him

  778. Onto them and they were glad and coming in coming in to give him money

  779. And he promised and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude go to Matthew chapter 26

    Matthew 26 chapter mention

  780. We see here that satan enters Judas Iscariot now

  781. Here's the thing when it comes to demonic possession. Okay

  782. I believe demonic possession is a legitimate thing. It's a real thing

  783. I do believe that demonic possession can lead people to committing

  784. criminal acts

  785. Murderer it could commit that cause them to do just horrendous things

  786. But I will say this is that I do believe that people I don't believe demonic possession happens on a whim

  787. Like a demon just selects someone at random

  788. I believe they have to like invite that into their life

  789. Because you have Judas Iscariot who was wicked

  790. From the beginning

  791. He didn't believe from the beginning. He's rejecting the gospel and in conjunction with that. What is he doing? He's stealing money

  792. He's the thief

  793. He's stealing money. He's playing the part and by this. I believe he's inviting

  794. Satan to come and possess him which is why he did so

  795. Now he does it. He betrays Jesus Christ. He's crucified because if you look at Matthew 26 verse 24

    Matthew 26:24

  796. Jesus held him responsible for this

  797. It says in verse 24 the son of man goeth as it is written of him

  798. But woe unto that man by whom the son of man is betrayed

  799. It had been good for that man if he had not been born

  800. There's nothing here. Hey, I know you guys are really rough on Judas

  801. I just want to let you know he was the monarchy possessed if we would have gotten the help that he needed

  802. We could have helped him out. It's not his fault

  803. You know and let me just say this when he said father forgive them for they know not what they do

  804. It didn't include Judas

  805. Did it include Judas?

  806. In fact, he said of Judas you should have never been born

  807. Why why is he not rebuking Satan?

  808. Why is he not defending Judas say well, he was just demonically possessed. It doesn't count

  809. He shouldn't be held culpable. No because it was Judas who carried out this crime

  810. Look at Matthew 27

  811. I just think Judas got the raw end of the deal there

  812. Who's going to be able to resist Satan? You know, it's the most demonic. He's he's Satan. He's the devil

  813. Look at verse three then Judas which had to betrayed him

  814. When he saw that he was condemned listen to this

  815. Repented himself and brought again the 30 pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders saying

  816. The devil made me do it

  817. It was the devil that made me do it

  818. The system failed me the chief priests. They knew I was weak when it comes to money

  819. No, I have sinned

  820. And that I I have betrayed the innocent blood and they said what is that to us?

  821. See thou to that and listen to this and he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed and went and hanged himself

  822. Why did he hang himself because he knew he was guilty

  823. Why did she throw herself out the window because she knew she was guilty

  824. That's why

  825. Amen

  826. Because no parent can live with themselves knowing that they did that to their children

  827. And even if she didn't even if she was already past feeling after she killed her children, you know what she knew

  828. I'm gonna get it for this

  829. And so let me just throw myself out the window

  830. And unfortunately she didn't succeed

  831. She didn't succeed in killing herself

  832. We wish she would have succeeded because that's what she deserved and that's exactly what Judas did

  833. And you know what the bible doesn't say and it wasn't Judas's fault

  834. And it was satan who did this and let's not hold him culpable for this

  835. No, Judas was a son of a man of perdition the son of perdition

  836. He is an antichrist picture. He was possessed by satan

  837. He was a devil from the beginning to bow down in the truth

  838. This man was a wicked person a thief

  839. He was the man who masqueraded as a believer and you know what he's the one that carried out the crime

  840. What's the point here the point is this just because someone is mentally insane doesn't mean we just automatically excuse their crimes

  841. Get away from that way of thinking

  842. That's what our that now that is what our country does though

  843. You know

  844. Again this trial with Lindsay Clancy is is retarded

  845. It should not exist

  846. Well, we're just trying to see if she was

  847. You know mentally insane or not

  848. So she could either go to the insane asylum for the rest of her life or prison

  849. And bible believe in christians like gas chamber. What do you mean?

  850. Lethal injection electric chair firing squad

  851. All of the above what do you mean? Why is this person even living they have forfeited their right to live?

  852. Go to proverbs 28

  853. Proverbs chapter 28

    Proverbs 28 chapter mention

  854. You know women who are being deceived by this don't even know

  855. That the people who are convincing them don't even believe what they're saying

  856. They're just reeling them in trying to get them away from biblical values and biblical principles and just corrupting society

  857. Corrupting women corrupting families trying to get their minds to be evil affected against their children

  858. Against their husbands against their family. It's a godless wicked movement and that you know that uh video needs to be shut off

  859. That social media needs to be shut off

  860. You need to control your mind start getting into the word of god and go with the truth side with the truth

  861. What the bible says? Okay

  862. Now here's my concluding verse here. Okay and proverbs 28

  863. regarding insanity

  864. Making you culpable

  865. You know if after this sermon you're like well, I still think you know

  866. I still think that like I get what you're saying

  867. It's my favorite phrase when someone's about to disagree with me, right? I get what you're saying

  868. I totally like agree with that

  869. But I just think that she is it wrong though to have like empathy

  870. For her though, even though I do believe that you know, yeah, she's she's held accountable

  871. But you know, I just empathize with her. Is it is it wrong? Well look at proverbs 28 verse 4

    Proverbs 28:4

  872. They that forsake the law

  873. praise the wicked

  874. But such as keep the law contend with them

  875. They that forsake the law

  876. Praise the wicked they side with the wicked

  877. They empathize with the wicked

  878. They're with the wicked and you know what if you sympathize and empathize with an absolute child murderer

  879. The bible says you forsook the law

  880. You can't have it both ways

  881. No, I stand with the law. No, not if you side with her

  882. Well, I believe what the bible says. Well, then stop siding with her because the the bible tells us here that a

  883. An indication that you're no longer adhering to the laws of god

  884. The evidence is that you are praising the wicked. You're siding with godless wicked people

  885. And what am I doing? I'm keeping the law. Why because I'm contending with them

  886. And so may your mind be renewed today and look if you say well, I agree with you

  887. But I'm just never coming back to this church. Well, I still got my job accomplished though

  888. Because my goal was to just change your mind on this

  889. My goal was to just renew your mind show you what the bible says and get you back on the law of god

  890. Agreeing with the lord and not siding with child killers. Yeah

  891. Let's pray father. We thank you so much for your word

  892. And thank you for a sober and sound mind

  893. It's so important to have lord and I pray that you would help us as your people to

  894. Keep the sound mind by keeping our minds fixated on you

  895. That will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on thee because he trusted in thee

  896. Help our minds to be renewed

  897. According to the word of god to adhere to the biblical principles to preaching to the bible

  898. And I pray that you fulfill us with your spirit lord

  899. And I pray that lord you would find that woman guilty

  900. But we know that she will receive her due punishment in the in the hereafter

  901. And I pray that that would come speedily lord. We love you. We thank you pray this things in jesus name. Amen
