  1. All right, good morning everybody.

  2. Great to be here at Faith Ward Baptist Church.

  3. It's about to say soul winning Baptist church.

  4. That's not where I am right now.

  5. So adjusting to the time change of coming from the Philippines.

  6. And so I want to just first thank Pastor Anderson for the hospitality

  7. and the opportunity to come here and preach.

  8. And we got to fellowship for a while last night.

  9. And also Brother Sagar I got to spend some time with yesterday as well.

  10. It's great to see some people that are still here 15 years later,

  11. because it's been more than 15 years since I've been a member here.

  12. And I did visit the church once I think 10 years ago.

  13. When my wife and I got married we went to our honeymoon in Sedona.

  14. So we came down here to visit.

  15. And it's great to see some of the same faces.

  16. And you know considering churches like this have a big turnover

  17. because of the hard preaching.

  18. It's great to see people that are still here more than a decade later.

  19. But also just a lot of new faces.

  20. You know people that I haven't met or I met briefly

  21. or I've seen you online or whatever.

  22. It's great to have you here.

  23. It's just great to have this opportunity.

  24. And you might think that I'm preaching on missions or soul winning

  25. since I'm a missionary.

  26. But honestly that just doesn't relate to the sermons at all today really.

  27. And I do want to quickly try to encourage you though with your soul winning.

  28. Because I know what it's like to be at a church

  29. where obviously in the Philippines it is very receptive.

  30. We actually have a few people here that were members of our church in the Philippines.

  31. And obviously the soul winning here is not as receptive.

  32. And sometimes you're kind of just going about your daily grind or weekly grind.

  33. You go soul winning, you get one person saved.

  34. And you get one the next week.

  35. And you might look online and see like crazy numbers

  36. and kind of lose your zeal for soul winning.

  37. But one thing to remember is you're rewarded for the work you do.

  38. Obviously if you're in an area and obviously Phoenix is a receptive area

  39. but if you're in an area that is not as receptive

  40. you're still rewarded for the work you do.

  41. And you can't do anything if people don't get saved.

  42. But the other thing I want you to understand

  43. is just the impact this church is having

  44. not just in Arizona, not just in this nation

  45. but honestly in the entire world.

  46. You know we have probably 20 people at our churches in the Philippines

  47. that got saved from the preaching at this church.

  48. You know the first day we had church service

  49. we had regularly in the 20s, mid 20s for a normal church service

  50. from day one and not just people that were at church

  51. people that go soul winning.

  52. And obviously when somebody new comes to church that's awesome

  53. but getting them to take the next step to being a soul winner

  54. that's kind of hard sometimes.

  55. And from day one we had people.

  56. The church in Poland that Pastor Anderson mentioned

  57. there's a lot of people from that church

  58. that got saved from the ministry here.

  59. You know that Pastor Plevniac's wife got saved

  60. from the preaching at this church.

  61. You know our church in Melbourne you're actually going to meet

  62. several of the men here in a few weeks

  63. you know during the men's preaching training conference

  64. they got saved from the preaching at this church.

  65. So I want you to realize when you're going soul winning

  66. for a local church here in Phoenix

  67. it's like you're actually having a huge impact

  68. not just here but impacting people worldwide.

  69. So support your pastor, love your pastor

  70. through the ups, through the downs.

  71. Obviously you've been through it if you've been here for a while

  72. support him and you're helping a great work be done.

  73. Now we're here in Revelation chapter 2

    Revelation 2 chapter mention

  74. and notice what it says here in verse number 18

  75. and under the angel of the church in Thyatira write

  76. these things say at the Son of God

  77. who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire

  78. and his feet are like fine brass.

  79. I know thy works in charity and service

  80. and faith in thy patience and thy works

  81. and the last to be more than the first.

  82. Now in Revelation chapters 2 and 3

    Revelation 2 chapter mention

  83. you're going to have seven different churches listed

  84. and of those seven churches

  85. five of them have at least one thing negative mentioned.

  86. And even if you are a great church

  87. you have ups, you have downs

  88. you have problems that you have to deal with

  89. and of these seven churches

  90. five of them have at least one issue

  91. but it's important to understand

  92. that all of these seven churches

  93. are bona fide and real churches

  94. that God has a stamp of approval on.

  95. So realize if we were to bring this to the modern day

  96. the church in Thyatira would not be

  97. the Pentecostal church down the street.

  98. It would not be the Mormons.

  99. It would not be the Catholics.

  100. You'd be looking at a fundamental Baptist

  101. soul winning church.

  102. You know a church like faithful word Baptist church

  103. or a like minded church

  104. that is what you would be looking at.

  105. Now it's important to understand this

  106. because when you read verse 20

  107. it's kind of crazy.

  108. It says not withstanding I have a few things against thee

  109. because thou sufferest or allowest

  110. that woman Jezebel

  111. which calleth herself a prophetess

  112. to teach and to seduce my servants

  113. to commit fornication

  114. and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

  115. Now when you're reading that

  116. are those small sins or big sins?

  117. They're pretty big sins.

  118. And see a lot of people have this mindset

  119. well you know what if you're right with God

  120. you're never going to have any problems.

  121. No, what churches do

  122. many churches will cover their problems

  123. and just not reveal them

  124. rather than being open and try to pretend

  125. they don't exist.

  126. All churches are going to go through problems

  127. if they last through the years.

  128. This is a major problem

  129. but I want you to understand

  130. this woman isn't really like Joyce Meyer

  131. because there's no way

  132. you would let Joyce Meyer preach this church.

  133. This isn't a Pentecostal church.

  134. It's not like Pastor Anderson said

  135. hey you know what it's a special service

  136. we got Pastor Matthew Stuckey in the morning

  137. and then we got Mrs. Chris Stan Stuckey

  138. in the evening service.

  139. Doesn't work that way.

  140. You're not going to let a woman get up

  141. and preach behind the pulpit at this church.

  142. And so look I don't believe this woman

  143. Jezebel is like the Sunday morning

  144. preacher or the Sunday night preacher

  145. but obviously she is teaching people

  146. in a very subtle way

  147. and just teaching these wicked and horrible things.

  148. But this is not a Pentecostal church.

  149. It's not the Mormons.

  150. This is a legitimate, real, what we would say

  151. is fundamental Baptist type church

  152. here with the church in Thyatira.

  153. Another thing to take note of here

  154. is the Bible says her name is Jezebel.

  155. Now of course you see the name Jezebel

  156. and the first thing that comes to your mind

  157. is Jezebel from the Old Testament.

  158. I would say the most evil and wicked woman

  159. in the entire Bible is Jezebel.

  160. And so when it comes to this person named Jezebel

  161. there's kind of two ways to look at this.

  162. Either the parents didn't really care

  163. that this Jezebel is this wicked person

  164. from the Old Testament

  165. or the Bible is just kind of using it

  166. to describe her.

  167. Kind of like he's a Judas

  168. or she's a Jezebel.

  169. Either way I want you to realize

  170. the Bible is connecting the Old Testament Jezebel

  171. with the New Testament Jezebel.

  172. And I want to prove that to you further.

  173. Notice what it says here in verse 20.

  174. It says,

  175. Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee

  176. because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel

  177. which calleth herself a prophetess

  178. to teach and to seduce my servants

  179. to commit fornication

  180. and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

  181. The Bible mentions two things here.

  182. Number one, to commit fornication.

  183. Number two, eating things sacrificed unto idols.

  184. Now turn your Bible to 2 Kings chapter 9.

    2 Kings 9 chapter mention

  185. 2 Kings chapter 9.

    2 Kings 9 chapter mention

  186. And I think on Wednesday nights

  187. you just went through 2 Kings chapter 9

    2 Kings 9 chapter mention

  188. the destruction and demise of Jezebel.

  189. And here's what it says about Jezebel here

  190. in 2 Kings chapter 9 verse number 22.

    2 Kings 9 chapter mention

  191. And it came to pass when Joram saw Jehu

  192. that he said,

  193. Is it peace, Jehu?

  194. And answered,

  195. What peace so long as the hordoms of thy mother Jezebel

  196. and her witchcrafts are so many?

  197. Now what it said in the New Testament was

  198. fornication and eating things sacrificed unto idols.

  199. Here in the Old Testament,

  200. different woman, different Jezebel

  201. and it says,

  202. Hordoms and Witchcrafts.

  203. Now obviously you know there's a literal sense

  204. of being a whore

  205. and there's a symbolic sense

  206. of just basically cheating on the true God

  207. but when you're thinking of hordoms

  208. you're thinking of sexual sin, right?

  209. Now remember it said in the New Testament

  210. fornication.

  211. Fornication and hordoms line up pretty well, don't they?

  212. The other thing mentioned is

  213. eating things sacrificed unto idols.

  214. So think of idolatry

  215. and it says witchcraft.

  216. Now at first glance you might say

  217. well what's the connection

  218. between idolatry and witchcraft?

  219. And what I would say to you is

  220. you're only saying that

  221. because in America there's not a lot of idolatry.

  222. Because I'm telling you there are people here

  223. that are from the Philippines.

  224. There are people here from India

  225. and there is certainly sorcery

  226. involved in idolatry but not only that

  227. the Bible makes the connection

  228. between witchcraft and idolatry.

  229. The word witchcraft or witchcrafts

  230. appears in six different verses

  231. in our King James Bible.

  232. Now go in your Bible to 1 Samuel 15.

  233. 1 Samuel 15.

  234. What I'm trying to do to you right now

  235. is just to show you there is a connection

  236. the Bible is making

  237. between the Old Testament Jezebel

  238. and the New Testament Jezebel.

  239. Of these six references

  240. one of these references as they're

  241. turning to 1 Samuel 15

  242. is in Galatians as there's a comparison

  243. between the works of the flesh

  244. and the fruit of the Spirit.

  245. When the Bible gives a long list

  246. of characteristics or sins

  247. it will usually link things together

  248. that are similar.

  249. And what the Bible says in verse number 20 is

  250. idolatry, witchcraft.

  251. Witchcraft follows directly

  252. after idolatry.

  253. The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 33

    2 Chronicles 33:6

  254. verse 6 it says witchcraft

  255. the next verse says idol.

  256. In Micah 5.12

  257. the Bible says witchcrafts.

  258. Micah 5.13 it says

  259. image or

  260. idol.

  261. There's only six references.

  262. Those are three right there where they're

  263. directly connected and probably the strongest

  264. link is here in 1 Samuel 15 verse 23

    1 Samuel 15:23

  265. where the Bible says

  266. for rebellion is as a sin

  267. of witchcraft and stubbornness

  268. is as iniquity

  269. and idolatry.

  270. So in the same verse you're seeing a connection

  271. between witchcraft and idolatry.

  272. You say pastor what is

  273. the connection between idolatry

  274. and sorcery?

  275. You know in the Philippines

  276. the largest Catholic

  277. idolatrous festival happens

  278. every year in January

  279. in Metro Manila.

  280. You will have millions of people that hit the streets

  281. and there is this morbid

  282. and weird looking

  283. idol of Jesus.

  284. Now people here from the Philippines they know exactly

  285. what I'm saying. Maybe you've seen pictures

  286. I've posted. It's like the most

  287. grotesque and weird

  288. idol you've ever seen in your life.

  289. And there will be millions of people

  290. that crowd the streets

  291. and they believe that if they touch this idol

  292. it will forgive their sins.

  293. They believe if they touch this idol

  294. it will heal their cancer.

  295. They believe if they touch this idol

  296. they're going to be prosperous.

  297. They believe there's something supernatural

  298. about touching this idol.

  299. And look if you've ever seen videos of people

  300. that go to Mecca and touch the Kaaba

  301. they go crazy don't they?

  302. And they will say

  303. there's a supernatural feeling

  304. that comes over when you touch this

  305. that you cannot understand.

  306. You watch documentaries where people go to

  307. pilgrimages of

  308. Hinduism and they will say

  309. there is a feeling that comes over

  310. you that you don't understand.

  311. You say what is actually

  312. taking place with these idols? Well what I

  313. believe is that as they

  314. touch these idols even though

  315. it is a piece of stone or metal

  316. that idol acts as a mediator

  317. to pass devils from one

  318. person to another.

  319. And so basically

  320. as you're worshiping these idols

  321. all of a sudden all these spirits

  322. are being attracted and then

  323. as you touch this idol a supernatural

  324. feeling comes over you that you

  325. would not believe.

  326. There is sorcery involved

  327. with idolatry and the Bible is making

  328. this connection.

  329. The Bible is making a connection between

  330. the Old Testament Jezebel

  331. and the New Testament Jezebel.

  332. Go to 1 Kings chapter 18.

    1 Kings 18 chapter mention

  333. 1 Kings 18.

  334. Look even if you're not in church

  335. the name Jezebel has a very negative connotation

  336. doesn't it?

  337. I mean I kind of grew up

  338. in a Christian home but I didn't really regularly

  339. go to church. I didn't get saved

  340. at a young age but I knew

  341. the name Jezebel.

  342. I knew the name Judas. I knew

  343. the name Jezebel and of course

  344. if you were to call someone a Jezebel

  345. it was sort of like calling them

  346. a whore or something just really awful.

  347. It's like the worst insult

  348. calling a woman a Jezebel.

  349. And you know when you think of Jezebel

  350. what immediately would pop to my head

  351. because I grew up in a conservative home

  352. so I'm thinking

  353. Hillary Clinton.

  354. Right?

  355. I'm thinking

  356. Michelle Obama.

  357. I'm thinking Kamala Harris.

  358. I mean these wicked

  359. hardcore feminists it's like man

  360. they're Jezebels.

  361. But there's one major difference between

  362. those Jezebels

  363. and the Jezebel of the Old Testament.

  364. And the major difference is

  365. the Jezebel of the Old Testament was

  366. incredibly religious.

  367. I don't think any one of us would say

  368. that Hillary Clinton is a very religious woman

  369. or Kamala Harris.

  370. But see the Jezebel of the Old Testament

  371. was incredibly religious.

  372. And notice what it says here in

  373. 1 Kings 18

    1 Kings 18:17

  374. verse 17

  375. and it came to pass when Ahab saw

  376. Elijah that Ahab said unto him

  377. are thou he that troubled with Israel

  378. and answered I have not troubled

  379. Israel but thou and thy father's house

  380. and that ye have forsaken the commandments of the Lord

  381. and thou hast followed Balaam.

  382. Now therefore send and gather to me

  383. all Israel on to Mount Carmel

  384. and the prophets of Baal 450

  385. and the prophets of the groves 400

  386. Notice this

  387. which eat at Jezebel's

  388. table.

  389. I mean isn't it true when you read 1 Kings

  390. Jezebel is very closely connected

  391. to the false prophets.

  392. Why should he want to kill Elijah?

  393. Because he gets the false prophets put to death.

  394. So yeah I mean Hillary Clinton is a form

  395. of Jezebel.

  396. But honestly the Jezebel of the Old Testament

  397. was actually a very religious woman.

  398. And of course the Jezebel of the New Testament

  399. the Jezebel of the New Testament's

  400. doing this inside of a local

  401. New Testament church.

  402. So here's the thing about this

  403. when we're looking at what we would call

  404. the spirit of Jezebel

  405. it's more closely associated

  406. with something that's religious than non-religious.

  407. And the thing is

  408. obviously people like Hillary Clinton are awful

  409. and wicked and look 99%

  410. if not 100% of people here

  411. agree with what I said.

  412. And it's not controversial at a church like this.

  413. But see I think we can get the mindset

  414. okay Jezebel is so awful and

  415. wicked but this would never happen

  416. in a church would it?

  417. And yet the Jezebel

  418. of the Old Testament is very religious

  419. and the Jezebel of the New Testament

  420. she's doing this inside of

  421. a local church.

  422. Go in your Bible to 1 Kings chapter 16

    1 Kings 16 chapter mention

  423. 1 Kings 16

  424. And the name of the sermon

  425. is the spirit of Jezebel

  426. the spirit of Jezebel.

  427. Another way you could look at this is the spirit of feminism

  428. especially as it comes

  429. into a local church.

  430. Just a couple weeks ago

  431. my wife's parents

  432. they actually live in Washington DC

  433. and they were visiting the Philippines

  434. and so you know they took us out

  435. to the beach which was great

  436. and you know I like to relax

  437. you know when you're in the ministry

  438. because the ministry is stressful

  439. and tough and so I'm not just

  440. soul winning every single day you know I have times

  441. where I take breaks go on vacation

  442. relax like to do things with the kids

  443. so you know we're at the beach I just want to relax

  444. right I just want

  445. no stress no problems

  446. I want to just turn off

  447. my phone not think about anything

  448. and

  449. you know I got to give credit where credit's due

  450. to where I got this sermon idea

  451. and as I'm at the beach you know I get

  452. informed I hear that I've been

  453. called out in a video by

  454. Tommy McMurtry

  455. I wasn't watching the video

  456. I didn't care

  457. and it's like okay whatever

  458. and then all of a sudden I see in the comments

  459. that not even just Tommy called me out

  460. but Cassandra McMurtry

  461. challenged me

  462. and I'm just thinking like

  463. what in the world it's just like

  464. don't you have enough problems

  465. and so she's the inspiration

  466. for the sermon

  467. I had a different sermon planned

  468. just a couple weeks ago

  469. and then she called me out and it's just like

  470. okay whatever and I got this idea

  471. I was reading Revelation I was like

  472. you know the spirit of Jezebel sounds like

  473. a pretty good sermon idea

  474. and so let me just read you a little bit

  475. of what she said and you know what

  476. I had never seen a single video

  477. of hers until a few weeks ago

  478. my life was so much better

  479. until a couple weeks ago

  480. I had never seen a single video

  481. of hers I had seen comments about things

  482. that she had said or a 30 second clip

  483. I had never watched a video

  484. but in preparation of the sermon

  485. I watched you know several different videos

  486. that she had and honestly

  487. I got done writing the sermon

  488. and I didn't add anything over the last week and a half

  489. where she went crazy for those that pay attention

  490. online I was like I'm done

  491. I got to get ready for the trip to the US

  492. it's like I already got my sermon content

  493. there's enough on the Baptist bias

  494. and other things that talk about this

  495. but here's what she said on YouTube

  496. this is a video where Tommy McMurtry

  497. is interviewing Joe Jones

  498. and apparently Joe Jones is better than us

  499. even though in

  500. Jude 1 he's preaching the false heresy

  501. with lasciviousness

  502. that the Bible is saying makes you a false prophet

  503. but

  504. here's what she said

  505. Matthew Stuckey

  506. this is my challenge to you

  507. please post time stamps and links

  508. to any video backing up your claim

  509. this is your claim in your exact words

  510. imagine being a pastor's wife

  511. and condoning fornication

  512. slash statutory rape

  513. while also condemning sex between a married couple

  514. now I made this comment

  515. because brother Ben Nam

  516. brother Ben the Baptist put up a video

  517. and I made a comment on it

  518. and you know he showed in the video exactly what I'm saying

  519. and then I commented on it

  520. and she says I have never done either

  521. okay well we'll see later on in the sermon

  522. okay

  523. I will be waiting for you to back up

  524. your claims with my exact quotes

  525. from when I said those two things

  526. edit if you do not provide

  527. your proof of exact quotes

  528. or take back your statement

  529. with an apology for bold face lying

  530. let it be noted

  531. that you are a liar

  532. railer and a slanderer

  533. okay so I kind of look at it like this

  534. it's kind of like on the playground

  535. it's like you say something mean

  536. it's like no that's not me I'm rubber

  537. you know bounces off of me

  538. because I said Tommy McMurtry is the biggest

  539. railer but one thing I liked

  540. about the statement notice she said at the end of that

  541. liar, railer

  542. and a slanderer

  543. it sounds like she knows what railing is

  544. it's like good job

  545. maybe your husband

  546. can preach on it because that's clearly

  547. about lying, slandering

  548. that's the context it's like well she got that right

  549. and so she made this statement

  550. and I was just like you know what whatever

  551. you know I'll write a sermon about it

  552. the spirit of Jezebel and we'll look at it later on

  553. you have to understand if you're a pastor

  554. and you put sermons online

  555. a lot of people challenge you

  556. and want to debate you and waste your time

  557. so me not responding wouldn't

  558. have proven anything it would just say I didn't respond

  559. okay but

  560. I am going to show you in the sermon because

  561. I have a lot of quotes from her

  562. that she said in various videos

  563. one of the main videos I got quotes from

  564. was a video called Am I a feminist

  565. and this is a video that came out about

  566. 10 months ago where you know

  567. a lot of churches have said you know she's promoting

  568. feminist agenda

  569. and she's trying to defend the fact

  570. she's not a feminist

  571. okay keep that in mind

  572. she's defending she's not a feminist

  573. here are her exact

  574. words

  575. I have a lot of quotes

  576. in America if we had

  577. good men that were leaders

  578. and men were doing their role

  579. and men were doing their part

  580. and men were cherishing their wives

  581. and loving their wives as Christ

  582. did then there would be

  583. no need

  584. for feminism

  585. no need

  586. now she starts off this video

  587. talking about how feminism started

  588. is such a wonderful thing

  589. and it went wrong

  590. and I get a quick look

  591. on AI

  592. you know it would be a cool future sermon

  593. the history of feminism there's supposedly

  594. four waves of feminism

  595. the first wave of feminism what it did

  596. is it was like opening Pandora's box

  597. it wasn't like it is today

  598. but it set everything

  599. in motion

  600. and one of the things she mentioned is a good thing

  601. she's like the women were tired of their husbands

  602. getting drunk so they protested to make drinking

  603. illegal

  604. well show me we're drinking as illegal in the Bible

  605. it's a sin

  606. I'm against all drinking

  607. but

  608. are you just going to make every sin illegal

  609. I mean if God doesn't make it illegal

  610. it shouldn't be illegal

  611. and that was used to help the women

  612. get political power and get their voice out

  613. and then of course it's gotten worse

  614. and worse and worse but in our own words

  615. if men were doing their part

  616. and men were cherishing their lives

  617. and men did this

  618. then there would be no need for feminism

  619. she says later

  620. on in the video

  621. I think there is no need for feminism

  622. in a world where men do their part

  623. it's like half of that's a wonderful statement

  624. I think there's no need for feminism

  625. stop

  626. period

  627. end of story don't keep going

  628. but in a world where

  629. men do their part

  630. now here's the thing feminism exists

  631. because men didn't put a stop to it

  632. but don't tell me it's a good thing

  633. or there's a need for it

  634. later on in the video

  635. she talks about the wife

  636. following the husband

  637. and submitting to the husband

  638. and him being the leader

  639. and she says I don't mind

  640. being completely dependent on my man

  641. and 20 seconds later

  642. in the same context

  643. he pretty much gives me

  644. whatever I want

  645. this is in a video

  646. where she's defending, she's not a feminist

  647. you know what she's saying there

  648. when you put those quotes together

  649. her interpretation of Ephesians chapter 5

    Ephesians 5 chapter mention

  650. men laying down their lives

  651. and loving their wives

  652. do everything your wives want

  653. that's what she's saying

  654. I mean is that your interpretation of Ephesians 5?

  655. husbands love your wives

  656. as Christ loved the church

  657. therefore do everything they want

  658. give them everything they want

  659. never say no

  660. never say no to your kids

  661. never say no to your wife

  662. just give them everything they want

  663. no matter what

  664. sadly because a lot of men are doing that

  665. that's why churches like this have less people

  666. why? it's not that the men have a problem

  667. with this church

  668. it's the wives

  669. I'm amazed

  670. as I saw these videos

  671. all of these people

  672. that are ex-new IFB

  673. and people I know where it's like the wives

  674. are just throwing out all these statements

  675. husbands saying nothing

  676. here's the thing

  677. every single one of those men is embarrassed

  678. by their wives

  679. and they don't want to tell their wives this

  680. but inside their head they're thinking

  681. can you shut up

  682. it's like why are you embarrassing me

  683. that's what they're thinking

  684. man I'm trying to help these men out

  685. play this sermon

  686. and then maybe they'll get the preaching

  687. and figure it out

  688. because every single one of those men

  689. is going to be embarrassed by his wife

  690. acting brawling and loud

  691. and acting like a man

  692. and they're not going to say it

  693. you say why aren't they going to say it then

  694. if it's true

  695. because of the fact the bible says

  696. the married caret for the things

  697. of the world

  698. how we may please his wife

  699. and that's not necessarily a bad thing

  700. because if you're married you should want to make your spouse happy

  701. absolutely

  702. we do need to be better husbands

  703. we do need to spend time with our wives

  704. we do need to be loving

  705. but it's like all the emphasis

  706. it's men

  707. it's men

  708. and it's like the problem people have

  709. is this idea of submitting

  710. to your husband

  711. and then of course there's the pretty interpretation

  712. where it's like well you know what

  713. in those verses it's like you both submit

  714. to each other

  715. submitting one to another in the fear of God

  716. it's like when the bible just

  717. contradicts itself in the next verse

  718. where it says wives submit to husbands

  719. and so no the bible

  720. clearly teaches that wives are

  721. to be in submission you say well pastor

  722. I'm submitting to my husband right now

  723. because I'm at church

  724. well do you want to be at church today

  725. yes I do well that's not submitting

  726. you already want to do it

  727. what submission is

  728. is when there's something you don't want to do

  729. and you willingly submit

  730. or put yourself underneath

  731. like a submarine in the water

  732. underneath the wishes

  733. of your husband

  734. even if you disagree why

  735. because thus saith the Lord

  736. that's what the bible says

  737. you say but she said she's not a feminist

  738. yeah you know what

  739. I hear a lot of Pentecostals say

  740. they don't believe in a work salvation

  741. right

  742. Mormons all the time

  743. say we're saved by grace

  744. and then they redefine it

  745. in 2nd Nephi 25

  746. just because somebody says something

  747. doesn't mean it's actually true

  748. so it's like you're saying all these

  749. feminist things and then you're like

  750. you know I'm not a feminist I believe

  751. that women should follow their husbands

  752. but then you're saying all these other things

  753. that are against

  754. what the bible is saying

  755. right so you'd be the judge today

  756. I'm going to preach this sermon we have a lot of quotes

  757. we're going to see what the bible says about this Old Testament woman Jezbo

  758. you can decide for yourself

  759. whether or not she's a feminist

  760. in my opinion yeah it's pretty obvious

  761. she considers herself a prophetess

  762. she's so important wants to teach everybody

  763. it's like okay

  764. what the bible says just sit down

  765. shut up be meek and quiet

  766. point number one

  767. we're in 1st King 16 is this

  768. one of the problems with the Old Testament Jezebel

  769. is she causes her husband to sin

  770. she causes her husband not to

  771. serve God notice what it says here in 1st King 16

  772. in verse 29

  773. in the 30th and 8th year of Asa

  774. King of Judah began Ahab the son of Amri

  775. to reign over Israel

  776. and Ahab the son of Amri reigned over Israel

  777. in Samaria 22 years

  778. and Ahab the son of Amri did evil

  779. on the side of the Lord above all that were before him

  780. and it came to pass as if it had been

  781. a light thing for him to walk in the sins

  782. of Jeroboam the son of Nebat

  783. that he took to wife Jezebel

  784. the daughter of Rathbaal King of the Zidonians

  785. and went and served Baal and worshipped him

  786. so notice

  787. Ahab's not a good guy

  788. right he's already going down a road of sin

  789. he's already doing wrong

  790. but above that he married Jezebel

  791. and then he's

  792. worshipping all of these

  793. you know false gods

  794. right you're seeing the impact

  795. Jezebel has on him to do wrong

  796. and then the Bible says

  797. in verse 32 and he reared up an altar for Baal

  798. in the house of Baal which he had built in Samaria

  799. and Ahab made a grove and Ahab did more

  800. to provoke the Lord God of Israel to anger

  801. than all the kings of Israel

  802. that were before him

  803. got a 1st Kings 21

  804. 1st Kings 21

  805. look the reason why I'm showing you the Old Testament

  806. Jezebel is honestly

  807. there's not a lot of verses

  808. on the New Testament Jezebel

  809. obviously it tells us a little bit of information

  810. but the Old Testament Jezebel

  811. has a lot of information

  812. we can see the things that she didn't

  813. you know obviously

  814. you know when it comes to Jezebel the Old Testament

  815. this is the king's wife

  816. that's why we get the Hillary Clinton examples

  817. right the president's wife

  818. but

  819. in a local church

  820. how can this spirit of Jezebel manifest

  821. no she doesn't have the same power

  822. as Hillary Clinton or the Jezebel the Old Testament

  823. but inside of a local church

  824. a woman like this can do a lot of damage

  825. and honestly in today's world

  826. with social media

  827. you can do a lot of damage even outside your local church

  828. so you don't have to go from door to door

  829. to gossip I mean you can just pull out

  830. your phone and gossip to like thousands of people

  831. just instantly

  832. right I mean have you ever seen somebody on Facebook

  833. will post like they're having fights

  834. or something with their spouse

  835. and then they call out their spouse publicly

  836. online and everybody's thinking

  837. dude just take that down man

  838. why are you posting that publicly

  839. everybody is going to see it

  840. and you can't walk it back at that point

  841. what are you doing

  842. but yet in today's world with social media

  843. you can do a lot of great things with it

  844. I mean sermons go out

  845. to a lot of people

  846. but you can also do a lot of damage

  847. in a short amount of time as well

  848. here's what it says in 1 Kings 21 verse 25

    1 Kings 21:25

  849. but there is none like

  850. on Ahab which did sell himself

  851. to work wickedness in the side of the Lord

  852. whom Jezebel

  853. his wife stirred

  854. up

  855. it's not that Ahab was a good guy

  856. it's not that he was going to be a good guy

  857. but look

  858. if you marry somebody really wicked

  859. they're going to cause you to do worse

  860. and Jezebel

  861. was an evil and a wicked woman

  862. and she stirred Ahab

  863. to actually do worse

  864. than he would have done

  865. go in your Bible to 1 Peter 3

  866. 1 Peter 3

  867. but you can look at a great character

  868. like Solomon

  869. I mean the Bible says that Solomon

  870. married a lot of wives which is wrong

  871. but the Bible makes it clear

  872. that the wives turned away his heart

  873. because he's marrying ungodly women

  874. now the thing is

  875. if you marry somebody godly

  876. they can motivate you to do more for God

  877. they can motivate you to love God more

  878. I'm sure this room

  879. is filled full of people that say

  880. hey man my spouse is such a blessing

  881. and when I don't feel like going soul winning

  882. they encourage me to go soul winning

  883. when I don't feel like reading the Bible

  884. or when I'm getting a little bit weak

  885. I'm getting a little bit lazy

  886. they encourage me to do more

  887. because let's face it the Christian life is hard

  888. it's hard to last

  889. year after year after year

  890. after year

  891. and look you've seen it yourself

  892. if you've been at this church

  893. a lot of great people end up falling by the wayside

  894. a lot of great church members

  895. a lot of great pastors

  896. they go down the wrong road

  897. I mean it's a shame but the Christian life is hard

  898. it's hard to last

  899. it's hard to serve God

  900. but how much harder if your spouse is just really wicked

  901. and fighting you all the time

  902. 1 Peter 3 verse 5

    1 Peter 3:5

  903. for after this manner in the old time

  904. the holy women also who trusted in God

  905. adorned themselves

  906. being in subjection onto their own husbands

  907. even as Sarah obeyed Abraham

  908. calling him Lord

  909. whose daughters he are as long as he do well

  910. and are not afraid with any amazement

  911. likewise he husbands

  912. dwell with them according to knowledge

  913. giving honor onto the wife as onto the weaker vessel

  914. and notice this as being

  915. heirs together

  916. of the grace of life

  917. I believe that if God has blessed you

  918. with a spouse

  919. God intends that you can accomplish more

  920. with them than you could without them

  921. now the thing is

  922. that might look a little bit different on the surface

  923. I mean quite honestly I went soul winning

  924. more I would say before I was married

  925. than I do now

  926. I have four kids I mean life is busy

  927. and you know

  928. preaching a lot of sermons and things like that

  929. you know but I still believe

  930. I'm accomplishing more now

  931. than I was before I was married

  932. and I know that

  933. my wife helps me do more for God

  934. and motivates me

  935. and my wife loves soul winning and the thing is

  936. with my wife loving soul winning

  937. on days I don't feel like going you just go

  938. because that's what you do

  939. if you marry someone who loves God

  940. they can motivate you to do more

  941. and you can be heirs together of the grace of life

  942. but

  943. if your spouse is ungodly

  944. and wicked

  945. it's like you're the husband

  946. and you're trying to set lines in your family

  947. like hey you know what I want to start going soul winning

  948. you know midweek I want to do an extra time

  949. of soul winning and then your wife is

  950. just fighting you saying wow we need to spend

  951. more time with the family you shouldn't do this

  952. blah blah blah it's like that is not going to

  953. cause you to do more for God

  954. you try to set lines in your family

  955. hey here's my line of worldliness

  956. because obviously with worldliness it's a very

  957. gray area people draw the lines

  958. at different points but you're the husband

  959. you make the decision you say hey

  960. we're not watching this we're not doing this

  961. it's wrong

  962. and then your wife is always trying to fight against it

  963. you set guidelines in your families

  964. of things you're doing and your wife is just

  965. intentionally disobeying it

  966. what's pretty hard to do great things

  967. for God if your wife is fighting you

  968. every single step of the way

  969. go to your Bible in Genesis chapter 2

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  970. Genesis 2

  971. and one thing I find amazing about this

  972. because you know the Bible says that

  973. women are to have a meek and a quiet spirit

  974. and

  975. you know there's kind of a phrase I thought of

  976. because I think of some of the ladies

  977. at our church in the Philippines

  978. and other soul winners I know

  979. like ladies that love soul winning

  980. and it's like what you see is women

  981. that are meek and quiet

  982. but they're soul winning assassins

  983. and what I mean by that is

  984. they will stop

  985. anybody to give the gospel

  986. somebody's got a knife and they're just trying to

  987. give them an invitation and talk to them

  988. and it's like they're so filled with boldness

  989. and it's funny because

  990. you might know these ladies

  991. and it's like they're very meek

  992. and quiet and shy

  993. and when they get filled with the spirit it's like

  994. man they're a soul winning

  995. assassin

  996. look ladies you have your opportunity to preach

  997. go out and preach the gospel

  998. it's not just for men and quite honestly

  999. there's a lot of people ladies can reach

  1000. that men can't

1001. I'm amazed how many times

1002. I try to talk to someone

1003. they're not interested a couple of minutes later

1004. my wife's giving them the gospel and gets them saved

  1005. and it wasn't

1006. it's not just like that in the Philippines

1007. because I'll preach the gospel in Tagalog

1008. and they're just shy to talk to an American

1009. and they'll talk to my wife

1010. but even in the US I would see that

  1011. you say why because

1012. some people might not be comfortable talking to a man

1013. they might feel more comfortable

  1014. talking to a lady

1015. and so look if we're meant to reach everybody

1016. in the world and there's a certain segment

1017. that is only going to listen to a woman

1018. you know what that means we need the ladies

1019. we need the spirit of God upon also the

1020. handmaidens to go out and preach the gospel

  1021. or like Phillip's daughters

  1022. which were prophesying

1023. not prophesying behind the pulpit

1024. but out there preaching the gospel

  1025. and getting people saved

  1026. Genesis chapter 2 verse 18

    Genesis 2:18

1027. and the Lord God said

1028. it is not good that the man should be alone

1029. I will make him help

  1030. meet for him

1031. I mean the Bible is just super clear

1032. and it reiterates this in the New Testament

1033. that the woman is created

  1034. for the man

1035. she's meant to be the help meet for the man

1036. and that means the guy

  1037. is the leader

1038. and the wife is meant to compliment him

  1039. be the help meet

1040. but does that mean it automatically

  1041. happens even with Christians

  1042. does the wife automatically

  1043. help the husband

1044. look obviously we realize that we're all

1045. sinners so no matter how godly of a lady

1046. you are you're not always

  1047. going to be a blessing 24-7

  1048. just like as guys

  1049. we're not perfect husbands 24-7

  1050. just like every marriage

  1051. has fights

  1052. every marriage has problems

1053. I remember when we went

1054. to Verity Baptist a long time ago

1055. before we were in the Philippines

1056. and somebody came up to me

1057. and they were kind of getting marriage advice

1058. and they were talking to me

  1059. and they said

1060. I bet you and your wife never fight

1061. and they were being honest

1062. and the people I'm thinking of

  1063. they're great

1064. some of the people that left Verity

1065. but he sincerely thought that

  1066. and I'm just thinking

1067. my wife and I fight

  1068. like everybody fights

1069. cause you got two sinners

1070. that are around each other 24-7

1071. what do you expect to happen

1072. I mean you're going to have times

1073. you got to fight through stuff

1074. but you are meant to be heirs together

1075. of the grace of life

1076. and do more for God together than you would separately

1077. but notice the next chapter

  1078. Genesis chapter 3

    Genesis 3 chapter mention

1079. the woman is made to help meet for the man

  1080. but notice Genesis 3 verse 6

    Genesis 3:6

1081. and when the woman saw that the tree was good for food

1082. that it was pleasant to the eyes

1083. and a tree to be desired to make one wise

1084. she took of the fruit thereof

  1085. and did eat

1086. and gave also under a husband with her

  1087. and he did eat

1088. I mean is she really helping the guy out

1089. she helping the husband out in that situation

1090. it's like the previous chapter

1091. the woman is to help meet

1092. and then the next chapter

1093. she's giving him the apple to sin

1094. I guess the defense for her

1095. at least she was deceived

1096. he's just like well you know

1097. just my wife said it

1098. this is the first wave of feminism

1099. you know this is the good part right

1100. so I'll just eat the fruit

  1101. it's like once again

1102. sometimes you got to tell your spouse no

  1103. as the leader

1104. they go to your Bible to 1 Kings 18

  1105. 1 Kings 18

  1106. look I don't think it's a big secret

  1107. that Tommy McMurtry

1108. is filled full of gossip

1109. and being a busy body

1110. and it's like why don't you just care

  1111. about your own church

  1112. and your own ministry

  1113. his ministry

  1114. is attacking this church

1115. and attacking new IFB churches

  1116. that's what it's all about I mean that's his ministry

  1117. and you know

1118. here's the thing about it it doesn't matter

  1119. what you're doing

1120. you can get vain followers

  1121. to come after you

  1122. see this church

1123. is filled full of people that love soul winning

1124. you know no matter what you say

1125. you can get vain followers to come after you

1126. no matter what you're saying

1127. it amazes me it's like some churches in the Philippines

  1128. like some Baptist churches

  1129. that are false prophets

1130. or bad people or whatever

1131. it's like I listen to them preach

1132. and they're like the worst preachers ever

1133. and they've got a lot of people

  1134. to listen to them

1135. and I'm like you know what in the world

1136. like why would you follow but it's just like

1137. you know no matter what you say

1138. you can get vain followers to come after you

  1139. so I'm not saying

1140. that he doesn't have a problem with gossip

1141. I'm saying being married to Cassandra

  1142. makes it times 10

1143. makes it a lot worse

1144. she eggs him on as you would say

1145. to make it worse and worse

  1146. and worse

  1147. but number one

1148. this Jezebel spirit causing your husband

1149. not to serve God that's one of the things we see

1150. from Jezebel in the Old Testament

1151. number two fighting against God's people

  1152. fighting against God's people

  1153. 1 Kings 18 verse 12

    1 Kings 18:12

  1154. actually 1 Kings 18 verse 3

    1 Kings 18:3

  1155. verse 3

1156. and Ahab called Obadiah which was the governor of his house

1157. now Obadiah feared the Lord greatly

1158. for it was so when Jezebel cut

1159. off the prophets of the Lord

1160. she killed the prophets of the Lord

1161. that Obadiah took in 100 prophets

1162. and hid them by 15 a cave

1163. and fed them with bread

  1164. and water

  1165. Jezebel here

1166. is fighting against God's people

1167. she's killing the prophets of God

  1168. she's trying to destroy God's people

1169. go to Nehemiah chapter 6

    Nehemiah 6 chapter mention

  1170. Nehemiah chapter 6

    Nehemiah 6 chapter mention

1171. it wasn't good enough for Jezebel to just have her own religion

  1172. she's attacking God's people

  1173. she's attacking God's prophets

1174. here's what it says in Nehemiah 6 verse 14

    Nehemiah 6:14

  1175. Nehemiah chapter 6 verse 14

    Nehemiah 6:14

  1176. my God

1177. think thou upon Tobiah and Sandballad

1178. according to these their works

  1179. and on the prophetess

1180. Nehemiah and the rest of the prophets

1181. that would have put me

  1182. in fear

1183. trying to stop the work

1184. of God being done this woman

  1185. Nehemiah

1186. now go in your Bible to Esther chapter 1

    Esther 1 chapter mention

  1187. Esther 1

  1188. Esther chapter 1

    Esther 1 chapter mention

1189. and look here's what I want you to understand

  1190. when you're married

1191. you're meant to be heirs together

1192. of the grace of life

1193. and what that means is the husband and the wife

1194. have to be on the same page

1195. and part of that is the husband

  1196. being the leader

1197. the other part is the wife

  1198. submitting to the husband

1199. and when people are trying to influence women

1200. not to submit to their husbands

1201. you know what you're doing

1202. you're trying to fight against God's people

  1203. doing something great

  1204. right

1205. because regardless of what you think

  1206. it's not your marriage

1207. the husband makes the rules in that home

1208. so why are you trying to influence

1209. the women in other homes

1210. not even at your church

1211. to rebel against their husbands

1212. here's what she said in one of her videos

  1213. the only reason

1214. they are so mad is because

1215. I have an influence on the women in their church

  1216. here's my question

1217. why do you want to have an influence

1218. on the women in other people's churches

1219. it has nothing to do with you

  1220. it's not your church

  1221. it's not your marriage

1222. you don't make the rules for it

1223. so why are you trying to influence

1224. other women in other churches

1225. and how is she influencing

1226. is she influencing to love your husbands

  1227. no matter what

1228. no she's influencing will separate

  1229. if they're too harsh

  1230. and too mean

1231. look I would say that if a husband

  1232. is drunkard

  1233. and is a derelict

  1234. and committing adultery

1235. he's kind of at his most unlovable stage

1236. you know what she should be encouraging

1237. wives to do in those situations

  1238. love your husbands

1239. I mean if you want to have a teaching ministry

  1240. why wouldn't you

1241. but no you say well separating those situations

  1242. cause it's dangerous

1243. it's like what are you doing

1244. you're influencing women to rebel

  1245. against their husbands

  1246. I mean look

1247. forgive me for this example

1248. I grew up in West Virginia

1249. but I think of the old country song

  1250. stand by your man

  1251. look I'm not saying

1252. it's okay for husbands to be losers

1253. and be drunkards and do these things

  1254. but it's like

1255. that was the old opinion

1256. it's like hey you stand by your man

1257. no matter what cause there is no option

1258. of divorce in the bible

  1259. you stay married

1260. and you don't open up his doors box

  1261. well in this situation

1262. say no no no I didn't tell him to get divorced

1263. I was just stating to separate

  1264. separating

1265. is one step to divorce

  1266. honestly it's more like

1267. five or six cause honestly once you separate

  1268. the divorce is common

1269. so the question is why do you want to influence

  1270. people in other churches

  1271. to leave their husbands

1272. and rebel against their husbands

  1273. Esther chapter 1 verse 15

    Esther 1:15

1274. what shall we do under the queen Vastai according to law

1275. because she hath not performed the commandment

1276. of the king of Hazelweres by the chamberlains

1277. in Mamooka in answer before the king and the princes

1278. Vastai the queen hath not done wrong

1279. to the king only but also to all the princes

1280. and all the people that are in all the provinces

1281. of the king of Hazelweres

1282. for this deed of the queen shall come abroad

1283. unto all women so that they shall despise their husbands

1284. and their eyes when it shall be reported

1285. the king of Hazelweres commanded Vastai

1286. the queen to be brought in before him

  1287. but she came not

1288. likewise shall the ladies of Persia and media

1289. say this day unto all the king's princes

1290. which have heard of the deed of the queen

1291. thus shall there arise too much contempt and wrath

1292. you know this is exactly what takes place

  1293. you'll see people where

  1294. a wife will rebel

  1295. a woman will be a loudmouth

1296. and rebel and all of a sudden

1297. it just kind of leads to just a bunch of women

  1298. doing the same thing

  1299. and you know

1300. that's what I said you know you see people in these videos

  1301. and it's like people I know it's like I know they're husbands

1302. and they're not saying anything

1303. and it's just like you know

1304. yes we can I'm a woman hear me roar

1305. and then all these women it's like man you used to be

1306. a soul winner what happened to you

1307. because they're buying into the lie

  1308. we're being held back

  1309. by these oppressive men

1310. look you don't have to get very far

1311. into the Bible to see that

1312. the wife is the compliment to the husband

1313. I mean the first chapter

1314. man is made in the image of God

  1315. and chapter 2

1316. the wife is the help meet

  1317. I didn't write the Bible

  1318. I didn't make the rules

1319. and the shame and the thing that's sad is

  1320. wives will be happier

1321. when they follow their husbands

1322. you buy into this lie of feminism

1323. well you know what I'm being held back

  1324. I could be a CEO

  1325. I could be a president

1326. okay go down that road

1327. you're going to be miserable

  1328. that's reality

1329. go in your Bible to Titus chapter 2

    Titus 2 chapter mention

  1330. Titus 2

1331. I find it sad when

  1332. I will see ladies

1333. that bought into this lie

1334. and they don't audibly say this

1335. but you can tell it and then

1336. they reach a certain age and obviously you know

1337. when it comes to getting married you know marriage is a blessing

1338. when you meet the right person and there's no guarantee

1339. there's a lot of great people that are zealous

1340. that love God and they don't get married

  1341. both men and women

1342. we've got a lot of godly ladies that are church in the Philippines

1343. that haven't met the right person yet

1344. but you'll see people that bought

1345. into this lie of feminism and they wanted to work

1346. their way up the corporate ladder

1347. to show how strong they are

1348. how smart they are or whatever

1349. and then all of a sudden those women will see

  1350. families with children

1351. and you can just see in their eyes

  1352. that they're not happy

1353. they thought they would be

  1354. and they're not

1355. and here's the thing you know when it comes to

  1356. our type of churches

1357. there's a lot of very intelligent and educated people

1358. that like this type of preaching

  1359. and honestly there's a lot of

1360. very intelligent and educated women

1361. that like this type of preaching

1362. and so part of you might say well wait a minute

1363. it's like man I could have been so successful

1364. I was in the working world and being so successful

1365. and then you think back

1366. and think oh it's going to make you so much happier

1367. no you're just buying into the lie of feminism

1368. and this spirit of Jezebel

1369. that the Bible is speaking about

  1370. Titus chapter 2

    Titus 2 chapter mention

1371. Bible says here in verse 1

1372. but speaks out of the things which become sound doctrine

1373. that the aged men be sober, grave

  1374. temperate, sound in faith

  1375. and charity and patience

  1376. the aged women likewise

1377. that they be in behavior has become with holiness

1378. not false accusers, not giving them much wine

  1379. teachers of good things

1380. that they may teach the young women to be sober

1381. to love their husbands, to love their children

1382. to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home

1383. good, obedient to their own husbands

1384. that the word of God be not blasphemed

1385. the Bible says here in Titus 2

1386. the aged women teach the young women

  1387. to love their husbands

  1388. to love their children

1389. basically to be a housewife

1390. to take care of the kids, to love them

1391. I believe the primary thing the Bible is saying is

  1392. by your actions

1393. because here's the thing about this

1394. if you're trying to convince a woman

1395. to be meek and quiet

1396. and you're doing the opposite

  1397. by challenging pastors

1398. it's like how are you convincing people

1399. to be meek and quiet

  1400. I mean it's not that complicated

  1401. folks

  1402. but the thing is

1403. if you're going to teach anything

1404. then you would teach wives

  1405. to love their husbands

  1406. to love their children

1407. not to leave their husbands

  1408. but to love them

1409. and so how can you say

  1410. well you know

1411. man I'm really helping ladies love their husbands

1412. you're telling them to leave

1413. like what in the world

  1414. and here's what I'm saying

1415. that if you are going to be successful

1416. I mean if you're married you know this is true

  1417. when you're married

1418. if you're having problems with your spouse

1419. it is hard to read the Bible

1420. it is hard to go soul winning

1421. it is hard to serve God zealously

  1422. it's difficult

1423. but yet when you're on the same page together

  1424. I mean isn't it a beautiful thing

  1425. it's a wonderful thing

1426. and you're doing great things for God

1427. but when you're not on the same page

  1428. it's a disaster

1429. that's the way that it is

1430. and so look if you're trying to get people

1431. to go against their husbands

  1432. you're causing a disaster for them

1433. how are they going to serve God zealously

1434. when they're just fighting with their spouse all the time

1435. go in your Bible to 1 Timothy chapter 5

    1 Timothy 5 chapter mention

  1436. 1 Timothy chapter 5

    1 Timothy 5 chapter mention

1437. look sometimes people get the wrong idea

1438. about pastors because you know

1439. we get up behind the pulpit

1440. and we preach the entire word of God

1441. we preach what the Bible says

1442. and we show the word of God

1443. and people might get this idea

1444. that in our personal lives

1445. we go around and tell people what to do

  1446. I don't do that

1447. with people at our churches

1448. I don't tell them what to do in their personal life

  1449. I mean we've got members

1450. people here they used to be members of our church

  1451. I didn't go around bossing people

1452. telling them what to do

1453. I mean look I will see men at our church

1454. make decisions in their home that I don't agree with

  1455. I never say anything

1456. you say why it's not my home

1457. and if he's the leader of that home

1458. even if I am right about something

1459. he makes the rules I don't make the rules

1460. that's the way it works

1461. is why when people ask

1462. what do you think about this situation

1463. what do you think about this I'm thinking

1464. I'm not the authority in that home

1465. so what difference does it make

1466. it's like mind your own business in your own home

1467. rather than worrying about other people

1468. but I will always side with

  1469. authority

1470. because God gave the authority

  1471. to husbands

1472. God gave the authority to fathers

1473. God gave the authority to mothers over their kids

1474. when my wife says something to my kids

1475. it's like I will back up my kids

  1476. I mean my wife

  1477. I should say

  1478. my bad

1479. this is going to be one of those snippets

1480. that gets in the preaching

  1481. what's really bad though

1482. is when you preach sermons and you don't notice

  1483. your gaffe

1484. and then all of a sudden

  1485. I've had sermons I'm preaching against

1486. repentance of sins for salvation

1487. and then I say the opposite for 5 seconds in the sermon

1488. and it's like oh what did I do

  1489. I preached a sermon last year

1490. and I think people either I misspoke

1491. or they got confused and people thought

1492. I used to take antidepressants

  1493. I was like I've never been

  1494. a depressed person

  1495. I've never taken antidepressants

  1496. before but I misspoke

  1497. or people misunderstood

1498. and it's like sometimes that happens

1499. but it's like no my wife will

1500. spank our kids when they do wrong or whatever

1501. I support my wife in her decision

  1502. in doing that

1503. because wives do have the authority over their kids

  1504. and sometimes

1505. the kids will try to pit the parents against each other

1506. and you've got to realize

1507. as husband and wife you've got to be together

1508. notice what it says here in 1 Timothy chapter 5

    1 Timothy 5 chapter mention

1509. actually here's another quote from Cassandra

1510. if you are the leader

1511. then you don't have to beat your chest

  1512. about it

1513. if you do beat your chest then you probably aren't the leader

1514. this is not unique to her

1515. because there's a lot of people that have said something

  1516. pretty similar

1517. but the thing is if you're the leader

  1518. are your followers always

  1519. 100% doing

  1520. what you want perfectly

  1521. so when they're not

  1522. doing what's correct

  1523. what do you do

  1524. just ignore it

  1525. and not say anything

1526. I mean it sounds like what Tommy does

1527. because he pretty much gives his wife whatever she wants

  1528. according to her

1529. he can set the record straight if that's not true

1530. so what do I do

1531. if my kids are not doing what I say

  1532. I punish them

1533. I rebuke them, I either spank them

1534. or rebuke them, give them a warning or whatever

  1535. you correct it

1536. and even if you're doing a good job leading

1537. you do have to do that sometimes

1538. but you know what I find

1539. people that say like they never fight

  1540. with their spouse usually

1541. what that means is the husband

1542. does everything the wife wants

1543. because he doesn't want to fight

1544. he's not willing to fight and he's thinking

1545. if I just give her what she wants

  1546. I don't really want this

1547. but you know it will get rid of this problem

1548. and you know what happens it just gets worse

  1549. and worse

  1550. and worse

  1551. and worse

1552. first time in chapter 5 verse 13

1553. and with all they learn to be idle

1554. wandering about from house to house

1555. and not only idle but tattlers also in busy bodies

1556. speaking things which they ought not

1557. I will therefore the younger women

  1558. marry, bear children

1559. guide the house, give none occasion in the

  1560. adversary to speak reproachfully

1561. for some are already turned aside after Satan

1562. I mean folks the Bible is not confusing here

  1563. it says the roles

  1564. of men and women

1565. men are the leaders, men are the providers

  1566. and then the women

1567. are to guide the house

  1568. marry, bear children

  1569. guide the house

1570. and what I just said is like the most sexist thing

1571. you're ever going to hear in 2026

1572. the role of women is to have

  1573. kids, well

1574. correct me if I'm wrong but it doesn't just basic

1575. biology kind of show you that

1576. the women are made to have kids

  1577. not the men

1578. go in your Bible to 1 Kings 19

  1579. 1 Kings 19

1580. and look in the context where she's

  1581. advising women to separate

  1582. in situations

  1583. here's what Cassandra says

  1584. I'm all for reconciliation

1585. but there has to be repentance

1586. you know what she's saying

  1587. let's I mean look

1588. this is already a long sermon

1589. forgive me I do back to back sermons

1590. in the Philippines I got to squeeze them in

1591. so the sermons are a little bit shorter

  1592. it's going to be a pastor

1593. Shelley linked sermon here today

  1594. alright

  1595. but I mean

1596. but think of judges 19

1597. right where she leaves the husband

1598. and it's just like well he should have

1599. just come back on his knees

1600. begging forgive me for everything I did wrong

1601. I mean is that the way you interpret

  1602. judges 19

1603. because that's pretty much what she's saying

1604. she's saying husbands and wives

1605. getting to fight and the wife leaves

1606. it's like hey you know what I want them to reconcile

  1607. if there's repentance

1608. if he says I'm sorry honey

1609. I'll do whatever you want

  1610. now she'd say I'm railing

1611. but that is exactly what she's saying

  1612. that it's always the husband's fault

1613. husbands and wives getting to fight

1614. they go several it's always the husband's fault

  1615. and then the husband

  1616. has to have repentance

1617. and say I messed up

  1618. I'm sorry forgive me

1619. look I'm not advocating husbands

  1620. being losers and derelicts

1621. we preach hard against sin

1622. let me tell you something there is no

1623. valid separation in the Bible

1624. that is just a step to getting divorced

1625. so why would you advise

  1626. that

1627. and see you can walk it back and say well wait a minute

  1628. I never told anybody

  1629. to get divorced

  1630. I said I'm against divorce yet

1631. when you led them down the

1632. road by getting them to separate

1633. that is exactly what she did

  1634. look

1635. when you're in moments of things

  1636. being difficult in marriage

1637. you need to stick strong together

  1638. and work through it

1639. look marriage is a beautiful

  1640. and a wonderful thing

1641. and I am much happier being married

1642. and God has blessed me

1643. with our family and my wife

1644. but that does not mean that our marriage

  1645. is always perfect

1646. and I don't want to mislead people

1647. that are single in this room that you get married

1648. and all your problems because people think

1649. I get married I will always be happy

1650. and never have any problems

  1651. well I mean if that's

1652. what you think I mean it's like

1653. good luck when you actually get married

1654. you need to go into it with the right

1655. mindset and realize hey you know what

  1656. it's a beautiful thing it's a wonderful thing

1657. but you got to work at it

1658. and it will get better over time

1659. but you will have difficult times

1660. and in those difficult times

  1661. you don't separate

  1662. look there are people

1663. that come up to me from church

  1664. and they're having problems

  1665. they're going through a tough time

1666. and they're just wondering you know maybe

1667. you know for a couple months I need to focus on work

1668. you know she can live with her parents

  1669. for a few months

1670. and it's just like and it's in the context

1671. of they're going through problems and I'm just like

  1672. I don't think that's a good idea

1673. it's like you can do whatever you want

  1674. but I don't think that's a good idea

  1675. because you know

  1676. so

1677. it's not going to remove the problem

  1678. you know

1679. it's going to be there when you get back

1680. it's like I think you got to work through it

1681. and I'm never going to advise people

1682. to separate now here's the thing I mean

1683. I can't force people to make their decisions

1684. they do what they want

1685. but I will not advise people to separate from their spouse

1686. it's one step leading to divorce

  1687. I'm all for reconciliation

1688. but there has to be repentance

  1689. I'm all for reconciliation

1690. husbands and wives are having problems

1691. I'm all for them getting back together

  1692. I'm all for reconciliation

1693. but according to her now the husbands

  1694. got asked for forgiveness

1695. and say I'm sorry in the fight

  1696. but number one

1697. the Jezebel from the Old Testament

1698. she caused her husband not to serve God

1699. she causes him to sin

1700. number two she fights against God's people

  1701. number three

1702. she fights against spiritual leadership

  1703. first Kings chapter 19 verse 1

    1 Kings 19:1

  1704. and Ahab told Jezebel

1705. all that Elijah had done

1706. and with Ohio he had slain all the prophets

  1707. with the sword

1708. then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah saying

1709. so let the gods do to me and more also

1710. if I make not thy life is the life of one of them

1711. by tomorrow about this time

1712. when he saw that he arose and went for his life

1713. and came to be her sheba which belonged to Judah

1714. and left his servant there

  1715. so you know Elijah

  1716. great man of God

  1717. first Kings 18

1718. one of the best chapters in the Bible

1719. and he looks like nothing's going to get him down

  1720. but he's human

  1721. he gets afraid

  1722. Jezebel threatens his life

1723. and he kind of just backslides a little bit

1724. kind of runs for his life and out of it

1725. and he wishes for himself to die

  1726. the Bible says

  1727. number 12

  1728. because once again

1729. Jezebel was a religious woman

1730. she loved the false prophets

1731. they ate at her table

1732. she was close to them

1733. she's very angry at the end of first Kings 18

1734. when they lose and they're killed

  1735. she's mad about it

  1736. but once you realize

1737. this doesn't just only exist

  1738. with ungodly people

1739. like the Jezebel the Old Testament

1740. even saved Christian women can be like this

1741. because notice what it says in Numbers 12 where we have Miriam

1742. now I would say that Miriam in the Bible

  1743. is an awesome character

  1744. she's a great woman

1745. a great character but notice what it says here in Numbers 12

    Numbers 12:1

  1746. verse 1

1747. and Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses

1748. because the Ethiopian woman whom he had married

1749. for he had married an Ethiopian woman

  1750. and they said

1751. hath the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses

1752. hath he not spoken also by us

1753. and the Lord heard it

1754. now the man Moses was very meek

1755. above all the men which are upon the face of the earth

1756. look you know when you go forward on the story

  1757. God completely supports Moses

  1758. Moses is meek

  1759. he's a humble guy

1760. he doesn't want to get into fight with them

1761. and he lets God fight his battles

1762. and then God comes through for him

1763. right but in the story

1764. Miriam is like well didn't God also speak by us

  1765. and the Bible says

  1766. Miriam is a prophetess

1767. I believe that she preached the gospel

1768. told people how to get to heaven

1769. but does that mean she should be getting up and preaching sermons though

1770. it's like didn't God speak by me

  1771. and it's like no

1772. in fact it's kind of interesting with Aaron

1773. because like Aaron you had your chance

1774. you had your chance to be the leader

  1775. you failed

  1776. you messed up

1777. it's like you know there you are

  1778. and then it's like there's a golden calf

1779. it's like you did not deal with the problem

1780. now here's the thing about this

1781. I mean if Aaron had beat his chest

1782. and dealt with it and destroyed the calf

  1783. said no

1784. well there you go that's being a good leader

1785. even though the earlier quote said

1786. if you got to beat your chest you're being a bad leader

  1787. well I think in

1788. Exodus 32 it would have made sense for Aaron

1789. to just give his authority

  1790. and say no

1791. but here you have Miriam

1792. who is a godly person

1793. and yet this spirit of Jezebel

  1794. passes upon her

1795. look I'm not saying these people are getting possessed

1796. with an evil spirit but I'm just saying in a symbolic sense

  1797. it's like

1798. I'm also someone that God can speak through

1799. I've also done great things

1800. and she wants to have her voice too

  1801. well I'm sorry

1802. but God did not give that authority to women

  1803. God shows Moses

1804. and look the Bible says it's not just

1805. with preaching sermons the Bible says it is a curse

1806. when women roll over you

  1807. it is a curse

1808. when women are the leaders

1809. of the country and running for president

1810. look I don't know who told you that

1811. the Philippines is an ultra-conservative

  1812. old-fashioned country

1813. we've had multiple female presidents

  1814. the current vice presidents

  1815. a woman it's like that's not really

  1816. the Philippines

  1817. it's like no there's a real problem

1818. with feminism in the Philippines too

1819. in fact I think a lot of people would say that

1820. in most homes in the Philippines

1821. it's the wife that's wearing the pants

  1822. it's not the husband

1823. now the thing is we expect this from the world

1824. but you know what happens in Baptist churches

  1825. every Baptist church

  1826. will say

  1827. we believe husbands

1828. are the head of the home

1829. because the Bible is really clear on it

1830. it's kind of like a running joke though

1831. because it's not really true

1832. it's like they say that

1833. but then it's not really true

  1834. in practice

1835. it's like well then how are you saying

1836. that husbands are the leader

1837. when you're not actually practicing

  1838. what you're claiming

  1839. go in your Bible

  1840. to 1 Kings 21

  1841. look

  1842. it's bad enough

1843. to try to get in marriages

  1844. and get women

1845. to separate from their husbands

  1846. but

1847. when you're trying to call out

1848. pastors of churches that are doing great

  1849. works for God

1850. it's like why don't you just keep your mouth shut

1851. it's just like don't you have enough enemies

  1852. it's just like

1853. I'm not exactly the most confrontational person

1854. although I guess I'm kind of heading that direction

  1855. but it's just like

1856. why are you calling out like pastors

  1857. you know I thought

1858. that being a pastor is for men

1859. could we all agree on that

1860. well I'm sorry but if you're not a man

1861. you don't get to have an opinion

  1862. I mean isn't that her logic

  1863. it's like

1864. men can't have an opinion on

1865. women's issues well why do you have an opinion

1866. on what it means to be a pastor

  1867. because you're not a man

  1868. you don't know what it's like

  1869. to be a pastor

  1870. now I can't say she doesn't know

1871. what it's like to be a leader because she's leading her home

  1872. what can I say

  1873. but

1874. why are you calling out other pastors

1875. like why don't you worry about your own life

1876. it's like you're going outside the realm of just trying to teach women

1877. now you're trying to just rebuke pastors

  1878. right

  1879. first king 21

  1880. number one

1881. the Jezebel the Old Testament she causes her husband

1882. not to serve God she causes her husband to sin

1883. number two she fights against God's people

1884. number three she fights against spiritual leadership

  1885. number four

  1886. she promotes sin

1887. now notice what it says here in 1 Kings 21 verse 4

    1 Kings 21:4

1888. and Ahab came into his house

1889. heavy in displease because of the word

1890. which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him

  1891. he had said

1892. I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers

1893. and he laid him down upon his bed and turned away his face

1894. and would eat no bread

1895. but Jezebel's wife came to him and said unto him

1896. why is thy spirit so sad that thou eatest no bread

  1897. he said unto her

1898. because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite

1899. and said unto him give me thy vineyard for money

1900. or else if it pleased thee

1901. I will give thee another vineyard for it and he answered

1902. I will not give thee my vineyard

1903. now doesn't this just sound like a little kid

1904. that just didn't get the toy

  1905. he wanted

1906. it's like I wanted the green toy not the blue toy

1907. I mean this is what happens

1908. when you have everything that you want in life

1909. it's always given to you he's complaining

  1910. I didn't get this vineyard

1911. and Jezebel's wife said unto him

1912. does thou now govern the kingdom of Israel

1913. it's like well not really

1914. I mean you kind of do honey right

1915. does thou now govern the kingdom of Israel

  1916. arise and eat bread

1917. and let thine heart be merry

1918. I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite

1919. now look she doesn't say

1920. what she's going to do

  1921. but obviously Ahab realizes

1922. okay something wicked is going to be done

  1923. he's aware of that

  1924. burst in

1925. and set two men sons of Belia

1926. which is a term for children of the devil

1927. reprobates before him to bear witness against them

1928. saying thou didst blaspheme God

1929. and the king and then carry him out

1930. and stone him that he may die

1931. and the men of the city even the elders

1932. and the nobles who were the inhabitants in the city

1933. did as Jezebel had sent onto them

1934. and as it was written in the letters which she had sent onto them

  1935. they proclaimed to fast

1936. and set Naboth on high among the people

1937. and there came in two men children of Belia

1938. and sat before him and the men of Belia

1939. witnessed against him even against Naboth

1940. and the presence of the people saying

1941. Naboth did blaspheme God and the king

1942. then they carried him forth out of the city

1943. and stoneed him with stones that he died

1944. now look the average person

1945. is not going to give a false witness

1946. to get somebody put to death

  1947. but it's not true

  1948. it'd be a pretty extreme thing

1949. for an average person to do

1950. but of course if you're a child of the devil

  1951. you don't have a conscience

1952. you don't feel bad about it

1953. and so she gets two reprobates to do this

1954. and so there's not just

  1955. her that's responsible

1956. he's responsible because he knew something wicked is going to happen

1957. what you're seeing is this woman Jezebel

1958. what is she doing she's promoting sin

1959. she's doing wicked things herself

1960. she's not even just causing her husband to do wrong

  1961. she's doing wrong

  1962. she's doing wicked

1963. okay now go on your bow to 1 Corinthians 7

  1964. 1 Corinthians 7

  1965. now in the context

1966. of her talking about separating from your husband

1967. it's like how can we call this

1968. godly advice when you're making videos

1969. talking on and on about separating

  1970. from your husband

  1971. here's what she says

  1972. there is no shame

  1973. in seeking help

1974. Mary and Joseph and other examples

1975. because you think your life is in danger

1976. I mean just think of the stories that they're giving

  1977. actual examples

1978. where people are being killed versus you're married

1979. you get into a fight

1980. and it's like well you're afraid for your life so just leave

1981. there's no shame in that

1982. it's not wrong don't feel bad about it

1983. forget about the preaching forget about what it says in the Bible

  1984. about staying married

1985. just you know don't feel bad

1986. your life's threatened just leave

1987. I mean is this not the same feminist garbage you hear

1988. from any ungodly and wicked person

  1989. just justifying leaving

  1990. your spouse

  1991. she says

1992. no shame in getting help from cops

  1993. the Bible talks

  1994. about protecting yourself

1995. well certainly not why is getting help from cops

1996. pretty stupid but it's like

1997. no why are you bringing them into that situation

1998. it's like you work it out yourself

  1999. she says

  2000. it's so hard

2001. for women in abusive relationships

2002. to see there is a way out

  2003. and you know

2004. there's kind of statements in between

2005. she says you can find a good pastor

2006. maybe the man wants to stop but that is the pattern

2007. that he has grown up seeing you know what she's trying to do

2008. with that statement you can tell in context

2009. she's subtly trying to get people

  2010. leave new IFB churches

  2011. that's what she's saying

2012. she's saying just leave churches like faithful word

2013. leave churches where there are two

2014. over the top with men being

2015. in the authority just leave those places

  2016. right

2017. and then in the context here

  2018. it says

  2019. another quote

2020. you should obey the law of the land

2021. because the land determines it

2022. to be rape okay this in the context

  2023. talk about marital rape

2024. and look you know she's condemning

2025. husbands and wives being physically together

2026. which goes back to the original thing

2027. but I want you to just think about this logically

2028. for a second because the Bible is very clear

2029. notice what it says 1 Corinthians 7 verse 3

    1 Corinthians 7:3

  2030. let the husband

2031. render unto the wife due benevolence

2032. and likewise also the wife unto the husband

2033. the wife hath not power of her own body

2034. but the husband and likewise also the husband

2035. hath not power of his own body but the wife

2036. defraud you not one the other

2037. except if you have consent for a time

2038. that you may give yourselves a fasting and prayer

2039. and come together again that Satan tempts you not

2040. for your incontinence so what the Bible is saying here in context

2041. is that husbands and wives should have a normal

2042. relationship and that does include

2043. the physical part of marriage

2044. say the catholic church says

2045. well you know Mary was perpetually a virgin

2046. man talk about a miserable marriage

  2047. that Joseph married into

  2048. I literally

2049. heard this in the Philippines it's like

2050. because they're more serious about their idolatry

2051. over there and you know

  2052. it's like if you're having problems

2053. with intimacy in your marriage

2054. then you should pray to the saint Joseph

2055. because he knows what you're going through

  2056. and it's like

2057. bizarre I mean the Bible is super clear

2058. obviously they had a normal relationship

  2059. okay

2060. but here's the thing about this the Bible says

2061. men and women should render dubent evidence

2062. look I actually know of situations where it's actually the opposite

  2063. where the men refuse

2064. and the wife wants to have a normal relationship

2065. she loves God wants to have a normal relationship

2066. and then the husband is the one that's refusing

  2067. that's wicked it's wrong

2068. and it's wicked the other way as well

2069. if the wife is refusing

  2070. now look obviously there's

2071. a little bit of common sense here

2072. obviously if one of the spouses

  2073. is really sick

  2074. and really feeling bad

2075. it's like obviously you're going to comfort them

2076. and try to take care of them

  2077. okay but when

2078. a wife is just refusing week after week

  2079. after week after week

2080. who is the person the Bible is saying

  2081. is in sin

  2082. who's clearly

  2083. directly not gray

  2084. area in sin

2085. that would be the wife

2086. because the Bible says she is

  2087. to render dubent evidence

2088. and yet in that video

2089. she gives a passing comment

  2090. I think

2091. I think she said like

2092. six months or something like that I could be wrong

2093. but she just kind of says it in passing

2094. if the wife is refusing for a long time

  2095. yeah I don't think that's right I don't think she should do that

2096. but it's just like you spent like

2097. a long time condemning like marital rape

2098. well here's the thing about this

2099. would a guy do that

2100. if the wife is just giving a normal relationship

2101. just think about this logically

  2102. the wife sins

  2103. by refusing the relationship

  2104. with her husband

2105. she's the one at fault

  2106. if she gave him

  2107. a normal relationship

2108. then there wouldn't be an issue at all

2109. but you know it is an issue

  2110. because in marriages

2111. people try to weaponize the physical relationship

  2112. against their spouse

2113. and so look when you're siding

2114. with the side that is sinful

2115. and wrong on many things

  2116. on separation

2117. on women refusing to be intimate

  2118. with their husband

2119. it's just like you are promoting sin

  2120. you are promoting sin

2121. and you're justifying wicked people

  2122. you're justifying wicked people

2123. that are in rebellion and sin

  2124. in fornication right now

2125. yes you are promoting sin

2126. and accepting people committing sin

  2127. outside of marriage

2128. and giving a pass on that

  2129. and saying nothing negative

2130. and being friends with all of them online

2131. and yet you're condemning people

2132. that are just in a normal relationship

  2133. that's exactly what you're doing

2134. now turn your Bible to 2 Kings chapter 9

    2 Kings 9 chapter mention

  2135. 2 Kings chapter 9

    2 Kings 9 chapter mention

2136. and here's the problem with this

2137. when people just blow off

2138. their mouth all the time

  2139. you know what happens

2140. even if you're against it

2141. it can still affect you

2142. think about someone who's in a bad church

2143. hearing a false gospel over and over again

2144. it can start to affect them

2145. they can start making some weird statements

  2146. now there's obviously a line

2147. where you're not going to cross there

  2148. but I'm just saying

2149. they're going to start to get confused on stuff

2150. you can't just allow it

2151. well I was like eat the meat and spit out the bones

2152. yeah well that's good advice

2153. if like 99% of the meat

2154. is meat and not bones

  2155. I hate eating meat

2156. where it's like it takes 30 minutes

2157. because it's filled full of bones

2158. it doesn't matter how good it is

2159. I'm too lazy to just spend all that time

2160. and it's like yeah you know what

2161. with preaching it's like you search the scriptures

2162. to see whether the things are so

2163. because no matter who it is preaching

2164. we're going to make mistakes

2165. you figure it out for yourself

2166. you read the Bible but it's just like

2167. most of it is actually good information

2168. you know you listen to this garbage

2169. over and over again it will start to affect you

  2170. it becomes so common

2171. that it will start to feel normal

  2172. the process of normalization

2173. it's kind of like in India

2174. people bow down to a cow

2175. is that normal? no it's not

2176. but it will start to feel normal

2177. I mean when I first moved to the Philippines

2178. I mean Idolatry was pretty crazy to me

2179. now I'm just kind of used to it

2180. sad to say in the Philippines

2181. when I first moved there

  2182. I mean seeing a man wearing a dress

2183. I mean I was like what in the world

2184. but you see it everywhere

  2185. there's a lot of cross-dressers in the Philippines

2186. it's very high up in the LGBT culture

2187. and you see it all the time

2188. you kind of just get used to it

  2189. and the thing is

2190. when you hear somebody saying

  2191. so many stupid things

2192. and all this feminist garbage

2193. you know what takes place?

2194. eventually it slowly starts to affect women

  2195. it's crazy

  2196. I don't really follow honestly

2197. issues in America as much

  2198. with politics and stuff

2199. I talked to my mom several times a week

2200. so she'll fill me in

2201. and it's just like this Lindsay Clancy case

2202. it's like what in the world

2203. when people are defending a woman

  2204. who murdered her children

2205. so pastor how should they deal with it

2206. she should already be dead

  2207. the death penalty

  2208. end of story

2209. as far as I know she didn't deny doing it

2210. so why are we even having a debate about it

2211. and yet there's all these women

2212. just trying to defend her

  2213. and look

2214. when this garbage comes into a local church

2215. you know what takes place

2216. it will start to affect the people at church

2217. I'll be honest with you

2218. I'm a little bit late to the party

2219. when it comes to preaching against feminism

2220. because honestly a year and a half ago

2221. I was like you know why is there so much preaching

2222. on feminism is it really that big of an issue

2223. maybe it wasn't as big in the Philippines but now I'm like

2224. okay my eyes are awake

  2225. okay I was wrong

  2226. I get it

  2227. and here's the thing when you're a pastor

2228. one of your jobs is to really just be

  2229. I mean you're vigilant you're ready for anything

2230. it's kind of like this

2231. you know I remember just you know going back

2232. over a decade ago you know a lot of my family

2233. thought I was really extreme against the LGBT

2234. but they kind of changed their mind

2235. it's like you know every time I talk to the mom

2236. she just tells me how much she hates the LGBT

  2237. I'm thinking mom it's

  2238. amen

  2239. it's like because

  2240. it's gone so far

  2241. that it's obvious

  2242. and the thing is

2243. when it starts at the beginning it's like

2244. oh it seems small doesn't seem like

2245. is that really that big of a deal

2246. but then it gets worse and worse

  2247. and worse and worse

2248. and then it's just like front and center

2249. before your face like man feminism is just

  2250. like all around us

2251. and in fundamental Baptist churches

2252. fighting against male leadership in the homes

2253. what's the end of Jezebel in the Old Testament

  2254. 2 Kings 9 verse 30

    2 Kings 9:30

  2255. and when Jehu was

  2256. coming to Jezebel

2257. heard of it and she painted her face

2258. and tired her head and looked out of the window

2259. and as Jehu entered into the gate she said

  2260. had Zimri peace

  2261. who slew his master

2262. and so basically she's wicked

2263. and evil she's like well you know what if you kill me

2264. you're not going to have any peace

2265. just trying to say whatever to just

2266. get out of the situation so she's not killed

  2267. and Jezebel is destroyed

  2268. and you know for

  2269. for all of time

  2270. the name Jezebel

2271. is going to be known as the most evil woman

  2272. that has ever existed

  2273. the number one name

2274. that is evil and known as wicked

  2275. is Jezebel

2276. we got a Revelation chapter 2 we're going to close up

    Revelation 2 chapter mention

  2277. Revelation 2

2278. and you know what this really comes down to is just a matter of

  2279. authority

  2280. there's God

2281. given authority in the Bible

  2282. look

  2283. I am not a perfect husband

  2284. I am not a perfect father

2285. but I am the one

2286. who makes the rules in my home

2287. because I am the leader

  2288. I make the decisions

2289. I make the rules and here's the thing

2290. I might disagree with things

2291. that you do in your home

2292. but you have the authority

  2293. as the husband

2294. and let me tell you something men

2295. if your wives are being

2296. rebellious and just starting to promote

2297. this feminist sort of garbage

2298. you have to put a stop to it

2299. it's going to get worse and worse

2300. and here's the thing about it she's not going to be happy

  2301. being this rebellious Jezebel

  2302. she's not

2303. the way that God designed

2304. is women to have a meek and quiet spirit

2305. in the sight of God it's a great price

2306. let me tell you something in the sight of your husband

  2307. it's a great price

2308. not fighting against your husband

  2309. not fighting it's all

2310. but no having a meek and quiet spirit

2311. and here's the thing ladies

2312. you are going to be happier doing that

2313. than just being like I am woman

  2314. hear me roar

2315. that's not going to make you happy

2316. it's going to make you miserable

2317. look I would say a lot of us that are in this room

2318. like my wife is a very smart woman

2319. and I'm sure that a lot of guys here

2320. say man my wife is very smart

2321. and look you know sometimes my wife is right about things

2322. like she has the right opinion

2323. but the thing is I do make the decisions in my home

  2324. it's not a matter of

2325. who's right in the situation

2326. it is a matter of authority

  2327. and God given authority

2328. I've had jobs before where my boss

2329. asked me to do something and inside my head

2330. I'm thinking you know what

  2331. I don't think that's a good idea

2332. you say what do you do

2333. I just do what he says

  2334. because I don't make the rules

  2335. I'm not the boss

  2336. it doesn't matter if I'm right

  2337. it's like I don't make the rules

2338. and when it comes to God given authority

  2339. the God given authority

2340. is the one that makes the rules

  2341. Revelation chapter 2 verse 20

    Revelation 2:20

  2342. notwithstanding

2343. I have a few things against thee

2344. because I'll suffer that woman Jezebel

2345. which called herself a prophetess

2346. to teach and seduce my servants to commit fornication

2347. to eat things sacrifice and idols

2348. and I gave her space to repent of her fornication

  2349. and she repented not

2350. you know sometimes you think man you know

2351. pastors are like too long suffering

2352. they give people a lot of chances

2353. but you know God's long suffering

2354. and honestly you know one of the things

2355. is when you kick somebody out of church

2356. you kind of want it to be super obvious

2357. where everybody's in agreement with you

2358. rather than it being in the gray area

  2359. but she's given a space

2360. to repent of her fornication

  2361. and she repented not

2362. and says behold I will cast her

2363. into a bed and them that commit adultery

2364. with her into great tribulation

2365. except they repent of their deeds

2366. and I'll kill her children with death

2367. and all the churches shall know that I am he

2368. which searcheth the reins and hearts

2369. and I'll give them to every one of you according to your works

2370. look we're seeing a bona fide church

2371. this is not a Pentecostal church

2372. this is not a Catholic church

  2373. you're looking at a fundamental

  2374. Baptist type of church

2375. you're looking at a church that is a legitimate church

  2376. a real church

2377. and yet in a real church

2378. even going back 2,000 years ago

  2379. this spirit of feminism

  2380. can actually come in

2381. how much more in 2,026

  2382. wives be meek

  2383. be quiet

  2384. follow your husbands

  2385. love your husbands

2386. stand by your pastor in these fights

  2387. and stand by authority

  2388. stand by God

  2389. given authority

2390. thank you for allowing us to be here today

2391. and I ask you to help all of the couples

2392. that are in this room

2393. for the wives to be submissive

2394. and to love their husbands

2395. to be a meek and quiet woman

2396. ask you to help all the men be the proper leaders

2397. and take authority in their homes

2398. and to also love their wives God

2399. and ask you to continue to bless this church

2400. and help us apply this sermon to our lives

2401. in Jesus' name we pray amen
