  1. Amen.

  2. I want to thank Pastor Shelley for the invitation to preach.

  3. We're in Leviticus 19.

  4. Let's look down at verse 19.

  5. The Bible reads, You shall keep my statutes, thou shalt not let thy cattle gender, that's

  6. talking about breeding, with a diverse kind, thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled

  7. seed, neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

  8. So we have a component here of the holiness code and in the Old Testament you've got different

  9. sets of laws.

  10. You have the moral law, you have ceremonial laws, you have feast days, etc.

  11. And when it comes to these ceremonial laws, you know, the New Testament makes it clear

  12. that they have been done away with in Christ, but that doesn't mean that there aren't spiritual

  13. applications and truths that we can extract from a passage like this.

  14. And in this section it says, You shall keep my statutes.

  15. And then it lists a bunch of improper mixtures.

  16. So things that shouldn't be combined together, they should remain separate.

  17. It lists several different, you know, items here and statutes where God is saying,

  18. do not mix these things together.

  19. What do we see?

  20. Well, first of all, it says, You shall keep my statutes.

  21. It's going to go into statutes on improper mixing.

  22. And then it says, you know, no breeding different kinds of animals.

  23. So again, gender is referring to breeding and it's saying, you know, you have one kind

  24. of animal, it shouldn't be breeding with another kind of animal.

  25. This can produce like a weird sterile hybrid of some kind, so you don't want that to

  26. happen.

  27. It talks about no mingled seed.

  28. You don't want to sow your field with mingled seed.

  29. And then it talks about no woollen and linen being mixed together as well in a garment.

  30. Now when the Bible uses the term mingling, it's talking about mixing, combining, blending.

  31. And look, in some instances, God is saying, you have two mutually exclusive options.

  32. You have to pick one.

  33. You can't combine the two.

  34. It's one or the other.

  35. Binary options here.

  36. Why? Because you may have two options that are incompatible with each other and so you

  37. can't have both.

  38. Let's look at Deuteronomy 22 and we'll get another angle of this passage right here.

  39. Because in Deuteronomy, it restates the holiness code with a little bit different

  40. wording, but it's still a warning against mixture and it's warning against mixing

  41. things.

  42. And like I said, there's spiritual application.

  43. I'm not going to be up here for the next hour giving a dissertation on farming and livestock.

  44. I would imagine that if I did that, there would probably be a lot of sleeping heads.

  45. I don't know how I would make that very exciting.

  46. But there's going to be some spiritual application.

  47. But first, we have to understand what God's saying practically because the practical

  48. truth can help us to extract spiritual truths.

  49. And again, certain mixtures are forbidden.

  50. Now, not every mixture.

  51. It's not like all mixing is wrong, but there are some cases where it is wrong.

  52. And in Deuteronomy 22, we get an example of that.

  53. Now, verse five talks about not cross-dressing.

  54. I just wanted to make that point.

  55. If you're a man, you wear man's clothing.

  56. And if you're a woman, you wear woman's clothing.

  57. How about that for not mixing?

  58. Our society needs to get that through its thick skull.

  59. That men should dress like men and women should dress like women.

  60. This shouldn't be a controversial point.

  61. And yet it is in 2026 because our society has lost its mind.

  62. I'm going to calm down now.

  63. Let's read verse number nine.

  64. So look what it says in verse number nine.

  65. The Bible reads in Deuteronomy 22 and verse nine.

  66. Thou shalt not sow thy vineyard with diverse seeds,

  67. lest the fruit of thy seed, which thou hast sown in the fruit of thy vineyard.

  68. Notice, be defiled.

  69. So you don't want to have an improper mixture of seeds

  70. because the result will be a defiled product.

  71. It says in verse 10, thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.

  72. And so this is distinct here, whereas in Leviticus it was talking about,

  73. you don't want to cross-breed animals.

  74. Here it's saying you don't want the ox and the ass to be plowing together.

  75. And ass, of course, in reference to a donkey.

  76. Verse 11, thou shalt not wear a garment of diverse sorts

  77. as of woollen and linen together.

  78. So no diverse seeds, lest the fruit be defiled.

  79. You have no plowing of the ox and the ass together.

  80. And then you don't want woollen and linen to be mixed as well.

  81. And the title of my sermon is, these things cannot be mixed.

  82. These things cannot be mixed.

  83. I'm going to talk about mutually exclusive options here,

  84. where you cannot combine the two.

  85. You see, there's a tendency for Christians

  86. to think that they could have the best of both worlds,

  87. that they could take A and they can combine it with B and be right with God.

  88. But that's not how it works in certain situations.

  89. And I'm going to talk about exactly what those are here in just a minute.

  90. But let's go back to Leviticus 19.

  91. Again, these things cannot be mixed.

  92. I'm talking about mutually exclusive options.

  93. It's either one or the other.

  94. It can't be both.

  95. And Jesus says this multiple times.

  96. How about in the book of Revelation,

  97. when he rebukes the church at Laodicea,

  98. and he says, hey, I would that you were either cold or hot.

  99. But you're lukewarm.

  100. It's like, pick a side.

  101. You can't have both.

  102. Which one do you want to be?

  103. Do you want to be zealous and hot for the things of God

  104. and on fire for the things of God?

  105. Or do you want to be lukewarm?

  106. Do you want to be on autopilot spiritually

  107. and not accomplishing much and kind of just going through the motions?

  108. And we as Christians should strive to be hot.

  109. We should strive to be zealous.

  110. It shouldn't be said of us that we're Laodicean Christians.

  111. I know that the old IFB likes to pretend

  112. that we're in the Laodicean church age.

  113. But I would say to them, speak for yourself.

  114. I don't see any Laodicean church age in front of me right now on a Sunday night.

  115. I see people who are zealous for the things of God as it should be.

  116. All of us can improve though.

  117. We all have a lot of work to do.

  118. We shouldn't be satisfied with where we're at in terms of our zeal.

  119. And so we should take passages like that as an admonition for us.

  120. In Mark 2, I had you turn back to Leviticus 19.

  121. Jesus said this though, I'll quote it for you.

  122. No man also soweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment.

  123. Else the new piece that filled it up, take it away from the old, and the rent is made worse.

  124. And no man puteth new wine into old bottles.

  125. Else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred.

  126. But new wine must be put into new bottles.

  127. So again, Jesus, he did preach.

  128. Certain things cannot be mixed in this parable.

  129. And he talks about you don't want to put a new cloth in an old garment.

  130. He says you don't want to put new wine into old bottles.

  131. These things should remain separate from each other.

  132. They shouldn't be mixed.

  133. You can't mix these things.

  134. And you know, it kind of reminds me of these bozos who want to combine

  135. the Old Testament law that has been done away with and the New Testament.

  136. And they basically want to just destroy the distinction between these two

  137. and sort of improperly combine them together and make the claim that you have to follow

  138. Old Covenant law that has been done away and fulfilled in Christ.

  139. Things like the meats and the drinks, the diverse washings, the carnal ordinances.

  140. And some of them will go even so far as to claim that the name of Jesus is wrong

  141. and that it should be Yeshua.

  142. I had somebody preach this to me.

  143. I got in an Uber in California and I was thinking to myself, you know what?

  144. How cool would it be to get the Uber driver saved?

  145. But unfortunately for me, that didn't happen.

  146. Instead, that guy wanted to preach to me and he wanted to preach about

  147. blending the Old and New Covenant together and this Yeshua trash.

  148. Now the Bible says no man by the spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed.

  149. I find it personally offensive for somebody to tell me that Jesus's name shouldn't be Jesus.

  150. It's personally offensive.

  151. Look, there's tons of jokes that you could make and I'm going to laugh along right with you,

  152. but you don't mess with the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and expect me to be okay with it.

  153. And in fact, as I'm sitting in the car, sometimes you have intrusive thoughts and

  154. I kind of looked at the door handle and I thought to myself, you know, I could open it

  155. and get out, right?

  156. But needless to say, I didn't jump out of the car.

  157. I stayed in and I did argue with the guy.

  158. But regardless, we could all move on from that story.

  159. The point is there's people out there who preach this trash and it deserves to be rebuked.

  160. They're called Judaizers folks.

  161. These are the Judaizers today and they don't understand this concept

  162. that you can't mix that which is not supposed to be mixed, which God said not to.

  163. The reality is there are elements of the old covenant that have been done away with

  164. and so we don't have to follow them.

  165. The Bible says which stood only in meats and drinks and diverse washings and carnal

  166. ordinances, which were imposed on them until the time of Reformation Calvary.

  167. And so there's been a change of the law and the thing is a good way to help you understand

  168. this would be like, let's say you have, you know, you're working and you have a boss who leaves

  169. and now you have a new boss come in.

  170. Well, here's the thing.

  171. The new boss isn't going to necessarily restate everything that the old boss had in place

  172. in terms of rules and statutes and hours and things like that,

  173. but you could expect them to tell you what did change.

  174. And when it comes to the old covenant and new covenant,

  175. the New Testament tells us what changed.

  176. Where it's silent, we can conclude that it must be the same.

  177. So let's look at Leviticus 19 and verse 19 here.

  178. Again, it says,

  179. He shall keep my statutes thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind.

  180. Thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed.

  181. Neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

  182. And look, there's carnal reasons for this.

  183. If you have mingled seed, the product is going to compete for sunlight.

  184. It'll compete for soil and nutrients and things of that nature.

  185. And it'll just not work.

  186. You could have a messy harvest, disunity.

  187. It might not even grow.

  188. The ox and the ass, if they're plowing together, they have different strengths.

  189. And so the ass will be left behind or killed.

  190. If you crossbreed, you could have a weird hybrid that's sterile.

  191. And woollen and linen creates a garment that is cheap

  192. and of a very low quality and easily rips.

  193. Now let's look at Romans 11 and we'll get into some spiritual application.

  194. Romans chapter 11.

    Romans 11 chapter mention

  195. So the first thing that the Bible tells us is,

  196. Neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

  197. Linen is plant-based and this represents works.

  198. Whereas woollen is what you would find on a sheep,

  199. this represents the imputed righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  200. We are all sheep spiritually and we have his imputed righteousness on us.

  201. And the first point is this, you can't mix faith and works for salvation.

  202. You can't mix faith and works for salvation.

  203. And I realize I'm talking to a saved audience here,

  204. but for us we need to make sure that we emphasize this when we get other people saved.

  205. Because we don't want them to be confused.

  206. We don't want them to think that they can just add Jesus

  207. to whatever false religion they currently believe.

  208. But rather they have to actually change their mind.

  209. Now in Romans 11 the Bible makes this clear when it says in verse 5,

  210. Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.

  211. And if by grace then is it no more of works, otherwise grace is no more grace.

  212. But if it be of works then is it no more grace, otherwise work is no more work.

  213. So notice salvation can only be faith or works.

  214. They cannot be blended together.

  215. They cannot be mixed together.

  216. These are mutually exclusive options.

  217. You have to pick the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ,

  218. his blood shed for us at Calvary or your works, not both of them.

  219. And Romans 11 makes that crystal clear that when you mix these two concepts together

  220. it is insufficient to save.

  221. Just as sure as that garment of woollen and linen is what I would describe,

  222. and the Bible describes it, strange apparel.

  223. I think that the Bible makes reference to this in Zephaniah chapter 1

    Zephaniah 1 chapter mention

  224. when it talks about people receiving the judgment of God who have on strange apparel.

  225. And it is strange apparel.

  226. Those who are walking around with woollen and linen is easily damaged, easily torn.

  227. That's not the imputed righteousness of Christ.

  228. Let's look at Galatians 5 together, Galatians chapter 5.

    Galatians 5 chapter mention

  229. Meanwhile, I'll read to you this verse where it says,

  230. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law,

  231. but by the faith of Jesus Christ.

  232. Even we have believed in Jesus Christ that we might be justified by the faith of Christ

  233. and not by the works of the law, for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

  234. I don't know how many times the Bible has to tell you this.

  235. It's just over and over and over again that the Scripture says faith not works.

  236. You cannot combine the two.

  237. That's strange apparel.

  238. That's woollen and linen together.

  239. Mixing that which cannot be mixed.

  240. Let's look at Galatians 5 and verse 4.

  241. The Bible says,

  242. Christ has become of no effect under you.

  243. Whosoever of you are justified by the law, ye are fallen from grace.

  244. Those who are trusting in the law, trusting in their ability to be good,

  245. the Bible says they are fallen from grace.

  246. Now you have to understand that,

  247. see the Bible says,

  248. the grace of God which bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.

  249. Now those who've rejected that grace,

  250. they've rejected the gospel in God,

  251. they've fallen from grace because they're not trusting in that to be saved.

  252. Now some people will twist this and take it out of context

  253. to teach that you could lose your salvation

  254. when in fact the passage is actually talking about them.

  255. It's talking about them and yet they want to use it

  256. to attack us when in reality it condemns them

  257. because they're trusting in the law

  258. and they've fallen from grace and they're the false prophet.

  259. Let's look at Romans 6, Romans chapter 6.

    Romans 6 chapter mention

  260. So there has to be a total and complete trust in Jesus alone.

  261. We need to make sure we emphasize that out of solanings

  262. so that people are not confused because if there isn't

  263. then Jesus will say to them as he does in Matthew chapter 7,

    Matthew 7 chapter mention

  264. I never knew you because they're trusting in their works.

  265. They talk about how have we not prophesied in thy name

  266. and then I may have cast out devils

  267. and then I named on many wonderful works

  268. and Jesus says I never knew you.

  269. Now Romans 6, I believe it talks about this as well in verse 3.

  270. It says Romans 6 and verse 3.

  271. Know ye not that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ

  272. were baptized into his death?

  273. So how someone baptized into Jesus?

  274. Well, you have to understand that baptism is a full immersion.

  275. So for me to be baptized into Jesus,

  276. there's a figurative sense in which that can take place

  277. which is by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ

  278. and fully being immersed in Jesus

  279. rather than 50% Jesus, 50% myself.

  280. There has to be a full immersion.

  281. It's not faith and works.

  282. You're fully immersed in Christ alone to get you to heaven.

  283. Now what is this called?

  284. This is called repentance.

  285. And let me tell you something.

  286. We believe in repentance here.

  287. The church that you're sitting in right now believes repentance.

  288. You say, why are you mad?

  289. Because people keep saying the opposite.

  290. And you know what?

  291. It pisses me off because it's a lie.

  292. And I hate lies and I hate false accusations

  293. and yet we're constantly plastered with this lie

  294. that we don't believe in repentance.

  295. When we do believe in it,

  296. we preach it every single time we go soul-winning.

  297. Every single time we get someone saved,

  298. we preach repentance.

  299. But someone said we don't believe repentance.

  300. And I'm going to tell you who it is

  301. and I'm going to use the name

  302. because I don't care he deserves his name to be shouted out.

  303. Jeff Durbin of Apologia Church

  304. and Apologia Radio is a slanderer.

  305. I'll get to that.

  306. Man, don't spoil it.

  307. All right.

  308. All right.

  309. Let's keep going here.

  310. So he says this.

  311. Listen to this quote.

  312. Okay.

  313. He says he...

  314. So let me explain the context here.

  315. He's talking about Pastor Anderson.

  316. Now what he says about Pastor Anderson,

  317. believe it or not, is wrong

  318. and he's attacking all of us

  319. because we believe the exact same thing

  320. and every saved person in the world

  321. believes the exact same thing.

  322. This is what he says.

  323. He does preach a false gospel without question.

  324. Now I'm going to stop right there

  325. and say if you think Pastor Anderson

  326. preaches a false gospel, you're not saved.

  327. And he's a false teacher.

  328. He denigrates the gospel of the apostles

  329. and essentially mocks the idea

  330. of calling people to repent and believe.

  331. No, we don't.

  332. To turn from sin to trusting in Christ.

  333. All of that.

  334. Direct quote right here.

  335. You can't say that I'm misrepresenting the guy.

  336. He says he does not.

  337. He denigrates that idea of repentance and faith

  338. so he is a false teacher.

  339. He does preach a false gospel.

  340. So he's accusing us of not believing

  341. in repentance and faith.

  342. He's saying that we preach a false gospel.

  343. And again, we, why?

  344. Because we believe the exact same thing.

  345. So he's accusing us too.

  346. Now this is utterly preposterous.

  347. We don't deny repentance.

  348. But you know what?

  349. If you believe repentance is a turning from sin,

  350. yeah, we deny your false repentance

  351. but we believe in true, here's the thing,

  352. we believe in the right definition,

  353. true repentance in the context of salvation.

  354. Because we define repentance correctly,

  355. that doesn't mean that we reject it wholesale.

  356. We reject your false marred version of it, Jeff Durbin.

  357. He says repentance is a turning from sin.

  358. The problem is God repents in the Bible

  359. more times than man.

  360. Did God sin?

  361. Of course not.

  362. The word repent is a neutral word.

  363. It just means to turn or change.

  364. So you can have it even used

  365. in the context of something positive.

  366. Like in the book of Jeremiah it literally says

  367. that God may repent of the good blessings

  368. if the people continue down their wicked ways.

  369. And then obviously God does in some instances

  370. repent of the evil that he said

  371. he would do under the people

  372. if they decide to change their ways as well.

  373. They don't get destroyed physically

  374. as a result of God's judgment.

  375. But the point is God repents in the Bible.

  376. The word is defined by its context.

  377. And in the context of salvation

  378. it is a turning from unbelief to belief.

  379. And this is why when we get someone saved

  380. we ask them, hey, did you change your mind

  381. about how to go to heaven?

  382. And if they say yes, you proceed to pray with them.

  383. But this guy, Jeff Durbin,

  384. he literally, or Durbin whatever,

  385. he literally says that we deny repentance.

  386. And of course this is a total lie.

  387. But here's the thing, he's pretending to not understand.

  388. He's pretending to not understand

  389. because this individual is cunning.

  390. He is a cunning person.

  391. He knows better.

  392. He knows what we believe.

  393. He's misrepresenting on purpose.

  394. And this is a guy who thinks drinking is okay.

  395. And you know what?

  396. He allegedly told his drill sergeant

  397. that he was a homo to get out of the military.

  398. Does this seem like a guy that we should get doctrine from?

  399. First of all, he doesn't even have salvation right.

  400. And second of all,

  401. he literally allegedly, according to his own parents,

  402. told the drill instructor that he was a fag.

  403. So an unsaved sodomite, let's all rally around him, right?

  404. Does that make any sense whatsoever?

  405. Of course not, if you have a working brain.

  406. But yet some people can't figure this out.

  407. This Jeff Durbin is a false prophet bound for hell.

  408. He's a devil.

  409. He perverts the gospel of Christ.

  410. The Bible says, let him be accursed.

  411. I want nothing to do with this fool.

  412. I want nothing to do with somebody preaching damnable heresy,

  413. falsely accusing us of denying repentance

  414. when all we do is actually define it correctly.

  415. Because we don't mix faith and works here in this church.

  416. The Bible is, you know, obvious.

  417. It's obviously tells us it's clear

  418. that you can't mix these two concepts.

  419. Jeff Durbin does.

  420. And so guess what?

  421. As a result, he's going to burn in hell when he dies.

  422. But you know, I'm not surprised that somebody like that would lie.

  423. False prophets, of course, have a proclivity to lie.

  424. But regardless, you know, turning from sin is works.

  425. You know, the Bible says in God saw their works

  426. that they turned from their evil way.

  427. And so he teaches a workspace gospel.

  428. The Bible also tells us the time is fulfilled

  429. and the kingdom of God is at hand.

  430. Repent ye and believe the gospel.

  431. Turn from whatever you were trusting in before

  432. and believe only in Jesus Christ to be saved.

  433. Let's go to 1 Peter 1, 1 Peter chapter 1.

    1 Peter 1 chapter mention

  434. You could look at Acts 19.4, Acts 20.21,

  435. and it defines repentance for you.

  436. This is the milk of the word, folks.

  437. But he pretends to not understand our position.

  438. You can't mix faith and works.

  439. Therefore, you know, we need to make sure we emphasize that

  440. when we evangelize.

  441. But what else did we see in the holiness code?

  442. It said,

  443. So God prohibits mingled seed.

  444. And I already explained why practically,

  445. but let's look at a spiritual application of that

  446. in 1 Peter 1 and verse 23, where the Bible reads,

  447. Being born again, not of corruptible seed,

  448. but of incorruptible, pay attention to this part,

  449. by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.

  450. So the incorruptible seed is the word of God.

  451. And remember, in Leviticus it said,

  452. Don't sow your field with mingled seed.

  453. As believers, we need to make sure that we're sowing,

  454. not with mingled seed, but rather with the incorruptible seed

  455. of the word of God itself.

  456. Now what would be mingled seed?

  457. Well, a lot of churches are trying to sow with mingled seed,

  458. meaning that their congregations are filled with every Bible you could imagine.

  459. There's people with the KJV.

  460. There's people with the ESV.

  461. There's people with the NASB.

  462. And imagine just trying to fulfill the Great Commission

  463. with a bunch of mingled seed where you're sowing

  464. different kinds of seeds everywhere.

  465. It's not going to work.

  466. Imagine trying to fulfill the Great Commission

  467. where some people are going out with the King James,

  468. other people are going out with the New King James,

  469. other people are going out with an ESV,

  470. with an NIV, with these critical text Bibles.

  471. The product will be defiled fruit,

  472. just as sure as the agricultural law told us

  473. not to mingle these seeds lest the vineyard

  474. ends up with a defiled product.

  475. And the thing is, the word of God can't be our final authority

  476. if we're using a whole bunch of different Bibles

  477. that say different things.

  478. And the modern versions are completely distinct

  479. from the King James Bible.

  480. And they produce false doctrine as a result.

  481. They produce false doctrine, which is defiled fruit.

  482. And churches shouldn't be blending these together.

  483. Let's look at Isaiah 30, Isaiah chapter 30.

    Isaiah 30 chapter mention

  484. My next point is you can't mix modern Bibles with the King James.

  485. You cannot mix modern Bibles with the King James Bible.

  486. Isaiah 30, it says in verse number 8,

  487. a passage here that articulates the doctrine of preservation.

  488. Isaiah 30 and verse 8.

  489. Again, you cannot blend a whole bunch of Bibles together

  490. in one congregation and expect to be effective

  491. when you go out and sow seed that has been mixed together.

  492. You have to have the incorruptible seed, the word of God,

  493. in order to be successful at the Great Commission.

  494. Look at Isaiah 30 and verse 8.

  495. The Bible says in Isaiah 30 and verse 8,

  496. now go write it before them in a table and note it in a book

  497. that it may be for the time to come forever and ever.

  498. How long does God's word last?

  499. Forever.

  500. It has been preserved throughout all ages.

  501. It lasts forever.

  502. This is the doctrine of preservation

  503. and the modern versions are incompatible

  504. with the doctrine of preservation

  505. because they stem from corrupt manuscripts

  506. that were literally unearthed in the 1800s.

  507. So they were absent for all of that time.

  508. They weren't in use.

  509. They weren't being preserved.

  510. They weren't being passed down from generation to generation.

  511. And so we shouldn't be mingling our seeds

  512. with the NIV, the ESV, the NASB, and going out and sowing

  513. because these things say different things.

  514. They teach different doctrines.

  515. They're opposed to the King James Bible

  516. that you have in your lap.

  517. Now I want to prove this to you because here's the thing.

  518. If the King James Bible is the preserved Word of God,

  519. we can expect that the received text Bibles that came before it

  520. say essentially the same thing.

  521. And that's exactly the case.

  522. You could watch the preserved Bible documentary

  523. for proof of that where we go through

  524. and we show you the Tyndale

  525. and the Coverdale Bible and the Matthews Bible.

  526. Why?

  527. Because in the English language,

  528. God did preserve His Word and, yes, the English Bible

  529. did go through a refining process

  530. up until the King James Bible

  531. when it reached its completion point.

  532. And I think the same thing is true

  533. for the printed Greek New Testament

  534. where it starts out with the Erasmus Greek New Testament

  535. and you go through, you have Stefanus,

  536. you have Elzavir's edition of the Greek New Testament,

  537. which is where we get the term textus receptis.

  538. You have Beza and then you have in 1894 the Scrivener.

  539. This, by the way, is essentially just a synthesis

  540. of the Greek that underlies the King James Bible.

  541. It was not back translated from the English.

  542. That's stupid.

  543. In reality, it just synthesizes Stefanus and Beza

  544. to give you the Greek that the translators used

  545. when they translated the King James Bible.

  546. And then of course you have the Daniel Bomberg,

  547. Hebrew Old Testament as well.

  548. And that is the preserved Word of God,

  549. the Hebrew, the Greek and the lingua franca

  550. of our world, the English.

  551. And yes, it went through a refining process

  552. and that's why these Bibles that come from the right source,

  553. the right textual stream, the received text of Scripture

  554. say the same thing.

  555. Meanwhile, here are your modern versions.

  556. Matthew 17 verse 21, absent.

    Matthew 17:21

  557. They emit entire verses, they're just gone.

  558. So literally, if you have a modern version of the Bible

  559. and you open it up to Matthew 17, 21, you'll see nothing.

  560. You'll see an empty space there.

  561. Now, there's still a verse number.

  562. Why? I have no idea.

  563. It's still there, but there's no verse.

  564. And you know what?

  565. That's also true for Matthew 18 verse 11.

    Matthew 18:11

  566. That's also true for Matthew 23 verse 14.

    Matthew 23:14

  567. That's also true for Mark 7 verse 16.

    Mark 7:16

  568. That's also true for Mark 9 verse 44.

    Mark 9:44

  569. Mark 9 verse 46.

    Mark 9:46

  570. Mark 11 verse 26.

    Mark 11:26

  571. Mark 15 verse 28.

    Mark 15:28

  572. Luke 17 verse 36.

    Luke 17:36

  573. Luke 23 verse 17.

    Luke 23:17

  574. John 5 verse 4.

    John 5:4

  575. Acts 8, 37.

  576. Acts 15, 34.

  577. Acts 24, 7.

  578. Acts 28, 29.

  579. Romans 16, 24.

  580. They're all gone.

  581. They're just deleted, gone, not there.

  582. But there's a problem, because my Bible says,

  583. man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

  584. How am I supposed to do that if I'm literally reading in the Bible

  585. and there's just parts that are just gone, deleted, blank spaces?

  586. And not only that, the modern versions say

  587. the opposite of the King James in many places.

  588. And I'm going to demonstrate that for you now.

  589. That's why we can't sow with mingled seed.

  590. It'll create a different product.

  591. You'll get strange and new doctrines

  592. from the modern versions.

  593. You'll get defiled fruit from the modern versions.

  594. Go to Hebrews 6.

  595. Hebrews chapter 6.

    Hebrews 6 chapter mention

  596. I'll prove this to you.

  597. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 3,

  598. and without controversy,

  599. great is the mystery of godliness,

  600. God was manifest in the flesh.

  601. So the Bible tells us God was manifest in the flesh.

  602. How did that happen?

  603. Of course, through the Lord Jesus Christ, who is God.

  604. So this is a great passage you could use

  605. to prove the deity of Christ.

  606. Now here's the NLT.

  607. It says without question,

  608. this is the great mystery of our faith.

  609. Christ was revealed in a human body.

  610. So it's not that God was manifest in the flesh.

  611. According to the NLT, the new living translation,

  612. even though it's not living,

  613. it's a new load of trash if you ask me,

  614. it says Christ came in a human body,

  615. revealed in a human body.

  616. Now Hebrews 6, we're just talking about repentance,

  617. notice in verse 1.

  618. What is this talking about?

  619. It's saying that the foundation of our faith is what?

  620. One of the components is repentance from dead works,

  621. faith toward God.

  622. Dead works don't save you.

  623. So you have to repent of trusting in those

  624. and instead place your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

  625. Well here's the NLT again.

  626. It says,

  627. so let us stop going over the basic teachings

  628. about Christ again and again.

  629. Let me just stop there for a second and say,

  630. it's amazing to me how these modern versions

  631. not only accomplish just deleting a bunch of scripture,

  632. but they also sound dumb.

  633. They don't have that majestic,

  634. awesome sound of the King James Bible.

  635. It says,

  636. let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding.

  637. Surely we don't need to start again

  638. with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds.

  639. Well there's your repenting your sins.

  640. If you're looking for that,

  641. you could just grab an NLT I guess

  642. and you'll find it right there.

  643. So is the foundation of our faith

  644. repentance from evil deeds

  645. or is it repentance from dead works?

  646. Those are two completely different concepts.

  647. Again, you cannot mix these things together.

  648. You want to read the NLT?

  649. You want to read the King James Bible at the same time?

  650. You're going to come out with two very different doctrines.

  651. You've got to pick one.

  652. Look at 2 Corinthians 2.

  653. 2 Corinthians chapter 2.

    2 Corinthians 2 chapter mention

  654. A few more examples of this I want to get to.

  655. 2 Corinthians 2 and verse 17.

  656. It says, 2 Corinthians 2 verse 17,

    2 Corinthians 2:17

  657. for we are not as many which corrupt the Word of God.

  658. Here's the ESV.

  659. For we are not like so many peddlers of the Word of God.

  660. Okay, again there's a problem here.

  661. Is Paul not as many which corrupt the Word of God?

  662. Or peddle it?

  663. Now to peddle, what would be wrong with peddling it?

  664. I mean, isn't that just giving it to somebody?

  665. Maybe I'm wrong.

  666. You could correct me afterward.

  667. But this is totally different.

  668. And so you can't have both.

  669. Let's look at 1 Samuel chapter 1.

    1 Samuel 1 chapter mention

  670. 1 Samuel chapter 1.

    1 Samuel 1 chapter mention

  671. I'll read for you a different example here

  672. as you go to 1 Samuel chapter 1.

    1 Samuel 1 chapter mention

  673. The Bible says elsewhere,

  674. I fear lest by any means

  675. as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety,

  676. so your mind should be corrupted

  677. from the simplicity that is in Christ.

  678. But the NIV says,

  679. I'm afraid that just as Eve was deceived

  680. by the serpent's cunning,

  681. your minds may somehow be led astray

  682. from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

  683. So is it simplicity that is in Christ

  684. or devotion to Christ?

  685. These are two opposite concepts.

  686. You can't have both.

  687. Is it simplicity or devotion?

  688. You gotta pick one.

  689. Now in the Old Testament,

  690. the modern versions also have a bunch of issues

  691. because they either translate poorly

  692. or they appeal to the Septuagint,

  693. which is the Greek translation of the Old Testament,

  694. or they appeal to the Dead Sea Scrolls,

  695. and it creates a bunch of weird issues.

  696. But here in 1 Samuel 1,

  697. look at verse 24,

  698. 1 Samuel 1 and verse 24,

  699. and when she had weaned him,

  700. she took him up,

  701. this is talking about Hannah,

  702. with her with three bullocks.

  703. So she has three bullocks with her.

  704. The NIV says,

  705. after he was weaned,

  706. she took the boy with her young as he was,

  707. along with a three-year-old bull.

  708. And the NIV cites the Dead Sea Scrolls for this change.

  709. So you could see how the source text changes the English.

  710. So what's the point?

  711. Okay, did Hannah have three bullocks

  712. or one three-year-old bull?

  713. You gotta pick one.

  714. You say, well, this isn't that important.

  715. Folks, I want to have the right story here, okay?

  716. And look, I want every detail to be accurate.

  717. If I don't care about accuracy,

  718. then I'll just go ahead and read

  719. the Koran's version of Joseph's story.

  720. Like, we can just all do that then.

  721. Like, what's the difference, right?

  722. We want to have the accurate story,

  723. and these are two very different things that it says.

  724. How about Proverbs 18?

  725. It says,

  726. the words of a tail bearer are as wounds

  727. in the incorruptible seed, the Word of God.

  728. The ESV says,

  729. the words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels.

  730. Well, hold on a minute.

  731. Are they as wounds or are they delicious morsels?

  732. You can't have both.

  733. They're different.

  734. You can't mix them together.

  735. So people are like, oh, it doesn't matter.

  736. You know, the modern versions,

  737. they're just changing the these and the dows

  738. and making it easier to understand.

  739. No, they're changing the meaning.

  740. That's the issue that we have with it.

  741. It's changing the meaning

  742. and saying something completely opposite

  743. to what the King James Bible says,

  744. which is why you cannot mix

  745. the modern critical text Bibles

  746. with the Bibles that came from the preserved line,

  747. the received text of Scripture.

  748. How about this also in Proverbs 18?

  749. A man that hath friends must show himself friendly.

  750. Here's the NLT.

  751. There are friends who destroy each other.

  752. What in the heck did I just read?

  753. Here's another one.

  754. A person of too many friends comes to ruin.

  755. Total opposite.

  756. The King James is telling you,

  757. hey, if you want friends, be friendly.

  758. These other ones are just saying the dumbest crap.

  759. One who has unreliable friends comes to ruin.

  760. The critical text Bibles don't even agree

  761. with each other in this passage.

  762. So you know what?

  763. You need to be an NIV only.

  764. You got to pick one then.

  765. Hey, it's like what Joshua said.

  766. It's like, choose you whom you shall serve.

  767. You know, choose you to stay whom you shall serve,

  768. which false gods you want to pick

  769. if you don't like the God of the Bible so much.

  770. You don't like the King James too hard for you to read.

  771. Well, you better pick one of these modern versions

  772. because even they don't agree with each other

  773. in a lot of places.

  774. You got to pick one mutually exclusive options.

  775. These things cannot be mixed.

  776. Proverbs 11, he that wineth souls is wise.

  777. You want to be wise, you go soul winning.

  778. Here's the NLT again.

  779. A wise person wins friends.

  780. Speaks for itself.

  781. I have nothing else to say.

  782. Let's look at Ecclesiastes 4.

  783. Ecclesiastes 4.

  784. A wise person wins friends.

  785. Wow, great.

  786. Thank you for that NLT.

  787. I really appreciate you changing out a verse

  788. that tells us about the importance of soul winning

  789. to tell me about how a wise person wins friends.

  790. Wonderful.

  791. That's awesome.

  792. Except it's not.

  793. Let's look at Ecclesiastes 4 and verse 4.

  794. Ecclesiastes 4 and verse 4.

  795. Again, I considered all travel and every right work

  796. that pay attention to this.

  797. For this, a man is envied of his neighbor.

  798. Now the ESV says,

  799. then I saw that all toil and all skill and work come from

  800. a man's envy of his neighbor.

  801. This isn't going to be...

  802. Okay, you guys got it.

  803. All right.

  804. I was going to say it's not immediately obvious,

  805. but everybody was like, what?

  806. It says the opposite, folks.

  807. Okay, the King James is saying,

  808. for this, a man is envied of his neighbor.

  809. The ESV says that work comes from a man's envy of his neighbor.

  810. So are you envied because you work hard,

  811. or do you work hard because you're envious?

  812. Which one is it?

  813. It can't be both.

  814. So you want to mingle these seeds together

  815. and go out and sow your seed.

  816. Don't be surprised when you have a corrupt fruit

  817. that results from that.

  818. And you have people believing a bunch of weird garbage

  819. because that's what those Bibles say.

  820. And again, if you didn't get it,

  821. the King James is using the word envy passively.

  822. A man is envied by his neighbor because of his labor,

  823. whereas the modern translations are using it actively

  824. as the source of envy, the complete opposite message,

  825. because they're opposed to the King James 100%.

  826. I got to move on.

  827. I can go all night about that.

  828. Let's look at 2 Corinthians 6 together,

  829. 2 Corinthians 6.

  830. So you know what?

  831. Instead of walking a thin line

  832. between all these critical text Bibles

  833. and the King James Bible,

  834. why don't you just stick to the preserved word of God this evening?

  835. And we need to educate ourselves

  836. and show people these differences

  837. because there's a lot of confusion about this topic

  838. and people think that it's no big deal.

  839. Oh, you're just splitting hairs.

  840. No, I'm not.

  841. I just showed you how they're totally different from each other.

  842. The meaning is different.

  843. It says the complete opposite of the King James

  844. in many places.

  845. And it teaches work salvation

  846. and it deletes a bunch of verses as well.

  847. So the next point I want to make is this.

  848. You can't mix, excuse me,

  849. you can't mix a believer with an unbeliever.

  850. These are two things that shouldn't be mixed together.

  851. The Bible tells us that you know,

  852. thou shalt not plow with an ox and an ass together.

  853. So God is prohibiting plowing the ox with the donkey

  854. because then the donkey would probably just die,

  855. wouldn't be able to keep up with that work.

  856. And also something else to keep in mind too

  857. is that the ass is an unclean animal,

  858. whereas the ox isn't.

  859. And so you're mixing the clean with the unclean.

  860. These two things should remain separate.

  861. You don't want to mix believers with unbelievers.

  862. In this context though, I'll get into that.

  863. I'll get specifically which context I'm talking about.

  864. I'm not saying like you have to go live in a compound

  865. and not ever interact with an unsafe person.

  866. That would make no sense.

  867. 2nd Corinthians 6 verse 14,

  868. 2nd Corinthians 6 verse 14,

  869. it says,

  870. be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers.

  871. For what fellowship at righteousness with unrighteousness

  872. and what communion at light with darkness,

  873. wherefore, verse 17,

  874. I'm gonna skip down for time,

  875. verse 17,

  876. wherefore come out from among them

  877. and be ye separate, sayeth the Lord,

  878. and touch not the unclean thing,

  879. and I will receive you.

  880. So just as sure as the ox and the ass

  881. aren't supposed to be plowing together,

  882. we don't want to be mixing with the unsaved.

  883. Now the ox can represent a pastor.

  884. The Bible talks about this in 1 Thessalonians 5

  885. where it says,

  886. thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn

  887. and in reference to the elder of the church.

  888. And the way I think about it is this.

  889. You don't want to have a church

  890. where it's mixed with safe people and unsafe people.

  891. The church is for the saved.

  892. The church is for the saved.

  893. We shouldn't be unevenly yoked

  894. with unbelievers in church.

  895. So we don't want to have an improper mixing there

  896. in the context of the New Testament church.

  897. Now if somebody comes in

  898. and they're not saved,

  899. we'll give them the gospel, no problem.

  900. And that happens all the time

  901. where somebody comes in,

  902. they get the gospel,

  903. Lord willing, they get saved.

  904. Maybe they even get baptized.

  905. That happens.

  906. But this church is geared toward the saved.

  907. And you say, well, this is obvious.

  908. Why would you have to even say this?

  909. Well, there's a lot of churches,

  910. even in the old IFB where,

  911. and God bless them,

  912. there's old IFB churches

  913. that are doing great works for God.

  914. I'm not trying to be overly negative here.

  915. So there's the caveat, all right?

  916. You can not be offended now.

  917. But the point is,

  918. a lot of them,

  919. they don't really seem to understand this

  920. because they gear their service

  921. toward getting people saved every single Sunday.

  922. And it's like,

  923. the issue with that is people aren't going to grow.

  924. Because if you're just hearing salvation every week,

  925. you're not getting other doctrine.

  926. You're not getting fed.

  927. You're not going to grow.

  928. But here's what they'll say.

  929. They'll say, well,

  930. if you want the meat of the word, brother,

  931. you better, you know,

  932. you're going to have to sign up to the Bible college.

  933. You go to the Bible college

  934. and they'll give you the meat of the word.

  935. You can learn all about dispensationalism, brother.

  936. You could learn about the pre-trib rapture there,

  937. or they just bring a guy in

  938. to teach you the pre-trib rapture

  939. and things like that

  940. because they don't really know

  941. end times, prophecy, whatever.

  942. But my point is, you know,

  943. I don't agree with this mentality

  944. because I believe

  945. that church should be geared toward the saved

  946. and you shouldn't have to go sign up

  947. to pay thousands of dollars

  948. to learn the meat of the word.

  949. It should be done every Sunday morning,

  950. Sunday night, and Wednesday night at church.

  951. And praise God.

  952. We're part of a church.

  953. Don't take it for granted

  954. where the man of God gets up

  955. and he feeds you the Bible

  956. and he doesn't filter it

  957. and he gives you everything

  958. from the milk to the hard meat

  959. whether you like it or not.

  960. That's what we have here.

  961. And that's the way it should be

  962. because how is the ox supposed to plow

  963. with a bunch of asses?

  964. Some of you laughed and you're immature.

  965. How are you supposed to plow with donkeys?

  966. It doesn't work.

  967. And the pastor has to have saved brethren

  968. to fulfill the Great Commission

  969. to go out and preach the gospel

  970. of Jesus Christ.

  971. And he can't do that

  972. if there's a bunch of unsaved people

  973. in the church.

  974. It's not going to be as effective.

  975. In fact, I would argue it'll be dysfunctional

  976. if you have like the Repeniors' Sin section here,

  977. the Yeshua section there,

  978. the Judaizers there,

  979. and the baptismal regeneration.

  980. You have to be baptized to be saved section over here.

  981. Sorry, Diego and Samuel.

  982. It's like, what the heck is this?

  983. Hey, I want to go to a church

  984. where everybody believes the same thing

  985. about how to go to heaven

  986. at the very least.

  987. Yeah, we have different views on food.

  988. I get it.

  989. I understand that.

  990. Some of you may not like what I eat

  991. on a regular basis.

  992. That's all right.

  993. Hey, no problem with that.

  994. Some of you may cheer for different sports teams.

  995. Okay, great.

  996. I don't care.

  997. Doesn't bother me.

  998. But you know what?

  999. At the very least, we understand

1000. and we agree on how to go to heaven.

1001. And that's how it should be

1002. in every New Testament church.

1003. I should have to walk in

  1004. and be worried

1005. that somebody's going to preach to me

  1006. some damnable heresy.

1007. That's not the way it works.

1008. And that's not how church should be geared.

1009. It should be geared toward the saved

1010. so we can grow together in the Lord.

  1011. Let's look at nothing.

1012. I have more to say.

1013. So here's the thing, folks.

1014. Another way you could apply this

1015. is when it comes to friendships.

1016. You know, the Bible asks the rhetorical question,

  1017. can two walk together

  1018. except they be agreed?

1019. You want to be evenly yoked?

1020. Your closest friends should be people

1021. who are saved, in my opinion.

  1022. Your closest friends.

  1023. I'm not saying it's like impossible

1024. to have a friend who isn't saved

1025. and you're trying to work on him or whatever.

  1026. It's not what I'm saying.

1027. But I think the closest people

1028. that you have in your life,

1029. hey, they should be spiritual family.

1030. And that's the case for me.

1031. I love my spiritual family.

  1032. They are my family.

  1033. Just period, you know.

  1034. Now, let's talk about,

1035. I want to talk about marriage here, marriage.

1036. Now, in Leviticus 19, it said,

1037. thou shalt not let thy cattle

1038. gender with a diverse kind.

1039. So you don't want crossbreeding

  1040. of the livestock because

1041. it will lead to a weird offspring

1042. that is either just not going to live

1043. for very long or it'll be sterile

  1044. or just, you know,

1045. just dysfunctional in some way.

  1046. All right.

1047. And so you need to marry a saved person

1048. is the point I'm trying to make here.

1049. You don't want to go outside of the

1050. family of God in the sense

1051. like you want to marry somebody

1052. at the very least who is saved.

1053. Now, look, I think beyond that,

  1054. my recommendations would be,

1055. hey, make sure you're aligned

1056. on serving the Lord as well, though.

1057. So yes, the person should be saved,

  1058. bare minimum.

1059. They got to check that box.

1060. But they should also be somebody

  1061. who you're aligned with

1062. on serving Jesus Christ as well

1063. on where you're going to go to church,

  1064. level of zeal, etc.

1065. Now, look, it's totally normal

  1066. for within a marriage

1067. to have one spouse that's a little

1068. more zealous than the other.

1069. And sometimes it ebbs and it flows

1070. where perhaps the wife is more zealous

  1071. at some points,

  1072. the husband's more zealous

  1073. at other points, whatever.

  1074. I get that.

1075. But you don't want to put yourself

  1076. in a scenario where you're fighting

1077. about where to go to church

1078. or you're fighting about doctrines

  1079. of the Bible.

1080. You say, well, I'm married

  1081. to an unsaved person.

1082. Well, look, that could be the case.

1083. And if it is, be the best spouse

  1084. you can possibly be.

1085. And you may win them over.

1086. That's what the Bible teaches.

  1087. Let's look at James 4, James 4.

1088. I'm going to go to my last point

  1089. now, James chapter 4.

    James 4 chapter mention

1090. So we want to make sure

  1091. that we're evenly yoked.

1092. We want to make sure we're

  1093. evenly yoked at church.

1094. You don't want to mix saved

  1095. and unsaved at church.

1096. You want your closest friends

  1097. to be saved.

  1098. You don't want a mixing,

  1099. improper mixing

  1100. of saved and unsaved

1101. in terms of your closest relationships.

1102. And when it comes to marriage,

  1103. hey, single guys,

1104. don't go out and marry a Muslim.

1105. Don't go out and marry a Jew,

1106. which that's never going to happen

  1107. anyway, I would imagine.

1108. But at least make sure

  1109. they repent of that.

1110. Make sure that you're marrying

  1111. somebody who's saved

1112. and in alignment with you

  1113. doctrinally.

1114. And then there's other things

1115. as well that you should look out for.

1116. And you can listen to some marriage

  1117. sermons on that.

  1118. But James 4,

1119. so I'm talking about crossbreeding

  1120. here.

1121. It produces a weird hybrid.

  1122. And the thing is,

1123. is that this sterile hybrid

1124. may not be able to actually

  1125. reproduce anything.

  1126. You can't produce anything.

1127. And I think of how

  1128. if you combine,

1129. makes me think of how

  1130. if you combine

  1131. the friendship with God

1132. with the friendship of the world,

  1133. what you're doing is

  1134. you're creating a weird hybrid

1135. that's not going to be

  1136. productive at all.

1137. And this is why the Bible tells us

1138. you have to pick one.

  1139. You can't have both

  1140. mutually exclusive options.

1141. Look at James 4 and verse 4.

1142. My last point is you can't mix

1143. the friendship with the world

  1144. and friendship with God.

  1145. Not possible.

  1146. James 4 and verse 4.

1147. Notice what the Bible says.

  1148. Ye adulterers

  1149. and adulteresses

  1150. in a spiritual sense.

  1151. Know ye not

1152. that the friendship of the world

  1153. is amnesty with God.

  1154. Whosoever therefore

1155. will be a friend of the world

1156. is the enemy of God.

1157. So ye either are a friend of God

1158. or you're a friend of the world.

  1159. It is not both.

  1160. You can't have both.

  1161. You can't mix both.

  1162. These are things that

  1163. cannot be mixed.

  1164. They're mutually exclusive.

1165. You got to choose being

  1166. a friend of God

1167. or a friend of the world.

  1168. Which means what?

1169. You got to get rid of

  1170. the world's philosophies

  1171. on marriage.

1172. You got to get rid of

  1173. the world's philosophies

  1174. on the family

  1175. and on general conduct.

1176. And you got to go with

  1177. what the Bible says

1178. whether it appeals to you

1179. or not in the flesh.

  1180. And look.

  1181. There's people out there

  1182. who used to identify

  1183. as new IFB.

1184. And they did seem to be

  1185. separated in that sense.

  1186. But you know what?

1187. Now they look like the world.

  1188. Now they left

  1189. and they're morphing

1190. more and more into the world

  1191. and adopting the world's

  1192. philosophies.

1193. What does this look like?

  1194. They start getting soft

  1195. on the sodomites.

  1196. They start getting ultra

  1197. shaman tissue paper

1198. soft on the sodomites today.

  1199. And it's disgusting

  1200. and it's embarrassing

  1201. and it's a shame

  1202. and a reproach

1203. to the name of Jesus Christ.

1204. If you're going to claim

  1205. Christ and be soft

1206. on a bunch of filthy

  1207. disgusting faggots today.

1208. We need more meta God

  1209. to repent

  1210. and go from

  1211. thinking that oh,

1212. you need to love them

1213. and be good unto them

  1214. to having a righteous

  1215. kind of hatred

1216. that the Bible talks about

  1217. in Psalm 139

1218. and Second Chronicles 19 too.

  1219. And guess what?

  1220. The sodomites fit

1221. under that umbrella of us,

  1222. you know,

1223. being able to hate them

  1224. since Romans 1

1225. tells us that they're haters of God.

  1226. You read Jude,

  1227. you read 2 Peter chapter 2.

    2 Peter 2 chapter mention

  1228. But what's the point

1229. I'm trying to make here

  1230. is that there's people

1231. who they leave a church

  1232. like ours

  1233. and then they slowly

1234. but surely start to adopt

  1235. the world's philosophy

1236. on a number of different topics

  1237. including this one.

1238. And they get all soft

  1239. on the sodomites.

1240. And let me tell you something.

  1241. I believe that this

1242. is a judgment of God on them.

  1243. You know what?

1244. You want to hate your brother

  1245. so much

1246. and you want to walk in darkness

1247. and you want to be so blinded.

  1248. Well, you know what?

  1249. Hey, don't be surprised

  1250. if you end up

  1251. being some kind of

  1252. sodomite sympathizer

  1253. like an idiot.

1254. You know, this is a judgment of God.

  1255. If you're looking around

  1256. and all you see

1257. are a bunch of fag,

  1258. fag sympathizers

1259. and some faggoty little group

  1260. that you have,

  1261. you know what?

  1262. You're under the judgment

  1263. of God

1264. in the curse of God.

  1265. And you know what?

  1266. My Bible says,

1267. He that saith under the wicked,

  1268. thou art righteous,

  1269. nations shall abhor them.

  1270. I don't want to be

  1271. in that position

1272. and you want to hate the brethren.

1273. You want to look more

  1274. like the world

1275. and you want to become

1276. a friend of the world.

  1277. Don't be surprised

1278. if that's what happens to you.

  1279. And I think it's the judgment

1280. of God on some of these people.

  1281. They want to hate

  1282. their brethren so much.

1283. Well, then they just become

  1284. a bunch of faggoty

  1285. little sodomite sympathizers.

  1286. And I get it.

1287. Some of them were infiltrators

  1288. from the beginning.

  1289. I understand that.

  1290. But you become more

  1291. like the world.

  1292. What happens?

  1293. You start preaching feminism

  1294. and you start preaching

  1295. a bunch of

  1296. boss, babe,

  1297. you go girl,

  1298. slop.

  1299. It's like vomit inducing.

  1300. I can't even say it

  1301. without wanting to vomit.

  1302. You start preaching

  1303. dishonoring your parents.

  1304. You start preaching

  1305. heresy

  1306. and then you fight

  1307. on the wrong team.

  1308. You start fighting

1309. on the wrong side of the war.

1310. And make no mistake about it.

  1311. We're in a war today.

  1312. And you know what?

  1313. The forces of hell

  1314. are coming against

  1315. our movement right now.

1316. And so we need to have

  1317. a bunch of people

1318. who say in their heart,

  1319. you know what?

1320. I'm not going to be

1321. a friend of the world right now.

1322. I'm going to be a friend of God.

1323. I'm going to get zealous

1324. and hot for the things of God

1325. to be a friend of God

  1326. and just to shoot

1327. the things of this world

  1328. because we're in a battle

  1329. right now.

1330. And the forces of hell

  1331. are coming against us.

1332. So we need as many soldiers

  1333. as possible.

1334. Here's what the world says.

  1335. No spanking.

  1336. Always the teenager doctrine

  1337. that just gets them

  1338. totally triggered

  1339. about not spanking teens.

1340. So they say no spanking.

  1341. They say 50 50 marriage.

1342. They say love the homos

  1343. which nobody does naturally.

  1344. Anyway, every normal person

1345. on the inside is like

  1346. they're gross and filthy

  1347. and disgusting.

1348. It's okay to be gay

  1349. which I do think it's okay

  1350. to be gay.

1351. It's okay to be happy.

1352. I want everyone to be gay

  1353. but you know I don't want

  1354. everybody to be

  1355. a filthy disgusting fact.

  1356. Serve money.

  1357. Listen to blasphemous music.

  1358. Dress like a whore

  1359. in the miniskirt

  1360. like a prostitute.

  1361. Divorce and drink

  1362. and party

  1363. and live it up

  1364. because tomorrow

  1365. we all die.

  1366. That's their mentality.

1367. And what does this produce?

1368. What is the world offering you

  1369. in summation?

1370. What are they offering you?

  1371. Something that is meaningless.

  1372. Okay.

  1373. This is nothing

1374. but a bunch of just

  1375. vacuous empty

  1376. nonsense

1377. that will not fulfill you.

  1378. This is vanity.

1379. And that's why a lot of people

  1380. are depressed today

1381. and they don't know what

  1382. to do with themselves

1383. because this is what they're looking

  1384. or excuse me

1385. this is what they're living for.

  1386. But the Bible says

1387. the grace of God teaches us

  1388. to live soberly,

  1389. righteously

  1390. and godly

1391. in this present world instead.

1392. And so if you want to be

  1393. God's friend

1394. you need to stay separated.

1395. You need to make sure

  1396. not to mix that

1397. which God has told you

  1398. not to

  1399. which is of course

1400. being a friend of God

1401. and a friend of the world.

1402. You know don't ever give

  1403. into the temptation

  1404. to mix the world's

  1405. philosophies

  1406. the Bible says that

1407. hey the wisdom of this world

  1408. is foolishness with God.

  1409. Don't get

  1410. give into the temptation

1411. to mix the world's philosophies

1412. with the word of God.

  1413. You can't do it.

1414. They're opposed to each other.

  1415. The fact is they're

  1416. mutually exclusive options.

  1417. Mutually exclusive options.

1418. And you just can't have both.

  1419. You can't mix both.

  1420. You gotta have one.

  1421. And I'm telling you

  1422. if there's ever a time

  1423. to make the decision

1424. to be a friend of God

  1425. and get all in

  1426. and stop being apathetic

  1427. it is right now.

  1428. Because we've got friends

  1429. who are under attack.

1430. We've got the forces of hell

  1431. coming against us

  1432. relentlessly.

1433. And you say oh well

  1434. if they succeed at

  1435. getting rid of

  1436. Pastor Ederson

1437. then maybe we'll be okay.

  1438. No they will set

  1439. their big ugly target

  1440. on us next.

  1441. It'll you know

  1442. it'll embolden them

1443. and they are gonna come

  1444. after us.

1445. We need to be ready.

1446. We need to be sold out

1447. for the things of Christ.

  1448. We need to be

  1449. you know

  1450. more excited about

  1451. soul winning

  1452. than ever before.

1453. Because at the end of the day

  1454. there's only one side

  1455. that you could pick

1456. the friendship of the world

1457. or the friendship of God

1458. and you better pick the Lord's side.

  1459. Because if there's ever

1460. a time to do that

  1461. it's right now

  1462. as we are under

  1463. relentless attack

  1464. from the most obsessed

  1465. satanic

  1466. evil

  1467. rotten degenerates

1468. that I may have ever seen

  1469. in my life.

1470. And they're not gonna stop.

  1471. They watch everything

  1472. they are obsessed.

  1473. They are stalkers.

  1474. They're probably watching

  1475. this right now.

  1476. And you know what

  1477. I am so happy

  1478. about that

1479. because I want them to watch.

1480. I want them to hear

1481. what I have to say

1482. and I want them to see

  1483. the contempt

1484. that I have for them

  1485. because I stand

  1486. against evil.

1487. That's why they hate me so much.

  1488. And you know what

  1489. we need to stand

1490. against evil as a church

1491. and we need to be sold out

1492. and we need to be a friend

  1493. of God

1494. and say nuts to this world.

1495. You can't mix it anyway.

1496. So when we look at

  1497. these statutes here

1498. I just want to recap.

  1499. I said you can't mix

1500. faith and works for salvation

1501. the woollen and the linen.

  1502. You can't mix

  1503. the King James version

  1504. and the modern versions

  1505. the mingled seed.

1506. You can't mix the saved

  1507. with the unsaved

1508. in the context of church

  1509. and your closest friends

  1510. and your marriage

  1511. as well

1512. the ox and the ass

1513. and then you can't mix

  1514. friendship with God

1515. and friendship with the world

  1516. which I would classify

1517. as a weird crossbred hybrid.

1518. And we look at these statutes

1519. I think that we could look

1520. at them through the lenses

  1521. of New Testament Christianity.

  1522. Meaning what?

1523. If you apply these separation statutes

  1524. you'll have a successful

  1525. Christian life

  1526. and a successful church.

1527. It starts with faith alone

  1528. for salvation

1529. and making sure people understand

  1530. that when we evangelize

  1531. it's sowing unmingled seed

1532. the incorruptible word of God

  1533. which is without error

  1534. 100% accurate.

  1535. It's being equally yoked

  1536. with fellow believers

  1537. and you know what?

  1538. It's friendship with God

  1539. rather than this world.

1540. And in the Christian life

  1541. I'm just warning you

1542. you're going to come across

  1543. mutually exclusive options

  1544. you can't have both

  1545. don't mix together

1546. what God has told you

  1547. not to mingle

  1548. because understand

  1549. there's some things

  1550. that just don't mix.

  1551. Now look colors mix

  1552. I don't get you

1553. you want to marry somebody

  1554. who's a different color

  1555. go right ahead

  1556. sorry racists

  1557. but I don't care

  1558. black, green, yellow, red

  1559. doesn't matter to me

  1560. you can go brown

1561. you can go whatever you want

1562. you can go desert color

  1563. if you want

  1564. but what matters is

  1565. spiritually

  1566. where do they stand

  1567. and that should be

1568. the way that we think

  1569. so

  1570. that's all I have

  1571. let's power our heads

  1572. forward to prayer

  1573. Father in heaven

1574. we thank you Lord God

  1575. for our church

  1576. and I just pray

1577. that you help us to understand

  1578. that there's certain things

  1579. that don't mix together

1580. help us not to mix them

1581. help us to be separated

1582. and help us to be

  1583. your friend

  1584. rather than the friend

  1585. of the world

  1586. because we know

1587. that we are under attack

  1588. every day Lord God

1589. and we need to make sure

  1590. that you know

1591. we're on the right side

  1592. and being effective

  1593. in the battle

  1594. and contributing positively

  1595. we love you

1596. and in Jesus name I pray

  1597. amen
