  1. I would, first of all, I would say tonight.

  2. Thank you for being here. This is an awesome crowd and I

  3. Know It Takes a great effort for you to come after a hot day busy

  4. day at work, mother's at home with kids, for have shall

  5. whatever you've engaged in throughout the day.

  6. I know that's a challenge but you show a great interest in

  7. your spiritual life by being here.

  8. You showed great interest in your home congregation by

  9. assembling Here, this crowd is really amazing to me.

  10. I'm very thankful, I'm very proud of you and I pray that our

  11. lesson will be of encouragement to you and will teach a few

  12. things. And at least remind you of

  13. things you've already been taught and that's most likely

  14. the category it will fit in. I would like to say that I've

  15. appreciated the prayers that every service, I did not mention

  16. that last night and I appreciated the prayer last

  17. night, and I brought the door leather one Sunday morning.

  18. Brother Frank tonight and listen, you've got a

  19. Congregation of much talent if I could live and I could preach

  20. like he can pray brother Frank, then I would feel like I've kind

  21. of changed some things and accomplish something that I

  22. really appreciate brother Frank and the prayer that he prayed

  23. tonight was wonderful. The song selection, I love every

  24. song. That is just wonderful.

  25. You know we're having a gospel meeting.

  26. I like to call it Revival because the gospel meeting that

  27. revives of people that encourages us, all I would

  28. assure you. I am encouraged by you.

  29. I promise you, I am encouraged by you.

  30. I don't tell every place that because I'm not encouraged

  31. everywhere I go but I'm encouraged by all of you and

  32. thank you so much for your attendance and your interest.

  33. I noticed I noticed several of you are writing, what is on the

  34. board before we ever started Services now?

  35. And that will help because they will help you be able to follow

  36. more and and fill in some gaps along the way as we make points

  37. throughout our lesson. So I feel very blessed to be

  38. here and I hope you today. Phil as blessed to be a member

  39. of the plans, Road, congregation and Bakersfield, California, as

  40. we all should is a beautiful. Building is great Christians.

  41. Everybody is happy that are hugging each other's neck there,

  42. shaking it Each other's hand, they're smiling each other and

  43. it just a great joy. May God bless each and every one

  44. of you in your service to God almighty As you see on the

  45. board, today, we're going to preach about faith without works

  46. is dead. To get me warmed up for this

  47. lesson today. I said and listen to a guy teach

  48. just opposite of what I'm going to teach today.

  49. I went on YouTube and listen to a guy.

  50. I preached a sermon today about salvation by faith only and he

  51. just ran all over. So many verses of scripture that

  52. he kind of gets me revved up and ready to roll because I want to

  53. defend the truth and I want you to be able to do that.

  54. I promise you today in order to Be an Effective personal worker

  55. for the Lord, in order to convert people to Christ, not

  56. every time, but many time, maybe most time you need to be able to

  57. explain these passages James 2:14 through 26.

    James 2:14–26

  58. It is so important. The title of the lesson is faith

  59. without works, is dead. You receive that and Verse 17

  60. verse 20 and verse 26. Now in James's, second chapter.

  61. And that's where you can turn if you want to in your Bible.

  62. That's what we're going to spend ninety five, ninety nine percent

  63. of our time tonight. As we conclude our lesson, I'm

  64. going to bring a couple of passages in the Lord willing

  65. from The Book of Revelation, but James chapter to the Book of

  66. James is written by James. The brother of Jesus.

  67. Christ. That automatically makes is perk

  68. up and think about we are reading a book that brother of

  69. Jesus Christ wrote and the message.

  70. He's right in here. He's doing so in a very positive

  71. way. Now if your Bible has

  72. subheadings or even at the very top of the page, it very likely

  73. was safe. Faith without works is dead.

  74. Now yours may not but mine does here and this one does As in

  75. your Pew Bible and others that I have looked at, that's what they

  76. say. So it's very common, whether

  77. your version said, the knob, right, a of faith without works

  78. is dead. This is very, very important.

  79. And by the way, this would be probably one of the shortest

  80. lessons that I preach. So your night tonight is not.

  81. I'm not I may be through before 8:30, I may surprise you all.

  82. I may want to grab those minutes later on during the week and use

  83. them then, but tonight. Right.

  84. This is basically a 30-minute lesson.

  85. We're going to focus in on this important.

  86. Truth, to help you help others to be saved, to help you to

  87. understand. And please, if I do not explain

  88. something to your satisfaction to your understanding, if I

  89. leave any room for question, please ask me I want to talk

  90. with you about that. I'll be glad to listen to what

  91. you say because I can learn from you.

  92. As I hope you can learn from me. And together we can help each

  93. other. In our spiritual journey and

  94. James the second chapter. I would.

  95. First of all, like, to read verse 17, 20, and 26.

  96. Now, remember we're looking at the one contest verses 14

  97. through. 26, verse 17, even so faith.

  98. If it has not works is dead being alone.

  99. Verse 20 but we'll go. I know o vain man.

  100. That faith without works is dead.

  101. Verse 26 for as the body. Without the spirit is dead.

  102. Even so faith without works is dead also, you know what I could

  103. do? I could go sit down now say I'm

  104. through. I've already read it to you

  105. three times. And one segment of scripture

  106. that faith without works is dead.

  107. Now, in order to understand this particular segment of scripture,

  108. there's a lot of history that I love to give, but today, I don't

  109. plan to focus. In on that I planted a to focus

  110. in on simply book chapter verse on what is talk.

  111. I don't plan to talk about how people have abused this.

  112. I may mention a couple of points along the way, but I basically

  113. am going to talk with you about what these verses teach.

  114. James is laying forth, the proposition faith without works

  115. is dead and James 2:14 through 26.

    James 2:14–26

  116. He's going to explain that and here's how He's going to do it,

  117. he's going to ask seven questions and these passages.

  118. He's going to give five illustrations and this passage.

  119. So therefore, And these 13 verses of scripture count.

  120. In verse 14, kind of verse 26, you have your 13 verses with

  121. these seven questions. And these five illustration is a

  122. pretty unique presentation. He is defending a proposition

  123. that you have to have faith, but your faith need me.

  124. Put into action words. Deeds conduct a needs to have

  125. works. To show your faith.

  126. Now, I'm going to read these verses, by the way, they seven

  127. question. I haven't number one through

  128. seven, they'd assembly where you find each of the seven

  129. questions. So, in your Bible, if you have

  130. your personal Bible here, you might and if you right in your

  131. Bible, you might underlie, the questions are highlighted,

  132. however, you like to do. And you might do the same with

  133. the illustration because many people that you talk to

  134. Religious world, they're good people.

  135. They're nice people. They have been misled because

  136. they've been taught wrong. You can show forth the word of

  137. God that faith is important. Works is important, and faith

  138. without works is dead. I want to tell you today,

  139. there's zero tolerance for Faith, only zero tolerance for

  140. that. There are many verses of

  141. scripture and that's one of the gentlemen did today on YouTube

  142. that I was watching him. He gave verse after verse after

  143. verse and said you saved by faith.

  144. You're saved by faith. What sure there are many verses

  145. teacher Saved By Faith, but not a one of them said Faith.

  146. Only knots, one single one. The only time Faith, only a

  147. would be right here in our text when it says not by faith only

  148. so it doesn't take a rocket scientist to really understand

  149. that. And another zero tolerance is to

  150. hear people say Works has nothing whatever to do with your

  151. salvation Works. Has nothing to do with your

  152. salvation that is dead wrong. And I can remember all through

  153. my years of preaching, a variety of people saying that men and

  154. women young and old and the religious discussion on and on

  155. that words has nothing to do with it.

  156. And people have tried to modify it to twister to turn it and it

  157. said differently. But the bottom line.

  158. Anytime anybody says faith only is all you need your worst.

  159. Do not matter. That person is, maybe honestly

  160. misled, but misled Said, you need to know these verses and

  161. I've outlined this in a way that helped me to understand it.

  162. I use this very outline numerous of times and bible studies with

  163. people. And once people can see the

  164. truth of James 2:14 through 26, then they understand.

    James 2:14–26

  165. I've got to do something. What I do does matter, can you

  166. imagine being tall, what you do? Doesn't matter your work?

  167. Doesn't matter. And that's just amazing to me

  168. that anybody would think Jesus came and died at Calvary and

  169. nothing. You do that matters.

  170. That is ridiculous. James hit it head-on.

  171. And here it comes, the brother of Our Lord writes, these words,

  172. we begin. Now a verse 14, will you please

  173. notice? This is question.

  174. Number one, and question number 2 and verse 14 right off the

  175. bat. I mean, he didn't warm up.

  176. He just now Heard it right tight and verse 14.

  177. Why does it profit my brethren though?

  178. A man may say he has faith and have not worked.

  179. Can Faith, save him. You've got to question right

  180. here. He's at first of all, what does

  181. it profit? You're going to see that again

  182. throughout this right, adhesive? What does it profit?

  183. If you have faith, you don't have Works.

  184. He said, can that kind of Faith save you?

  185. That's a good question. Can Faith save?

  186. You can that kind of faith faith that works by itself and no

  187. words. Can that Faith save you?

  188. James is driving the point home immediately.

  189. Drawing everybody's attention to his writing that kind of faith

  190. will not do anything for you. It will not save you.

  191. He said can Faith. That is that kind of faith

  192. faith? That has no words.

  193. Can not Faith to save you. Look at verse 15, please.

  194. If a brother or sister, be naked and destitute of daily food.

  195. And one of you say unto them, Them depart in peace, be warmed

  196. and filled notwithstanding, you shouldn't you give them not

  197. those things that are needed for the body.

  198. Here's the third question and this is your first illustration,

  199. What doth it profit. Notice what he said here, what

  200. does it profit and verse 16? This is your case of

  201. benevolence. Somebody comes up to you a

  202. brother or sister That is in Christ, a fellow Christian comes

  203. up to you and they tell you they're destitute of daily food.

  204. And you say, I hope you have a great day.

  205. We'll see you later and you can walk away.

  206. Your faith has not been put into practice a brother or sister

  207. needed you. They needed your help.

  208. He said for brother or sister comes to you and they're

  209. destitute of daily food and you know, more or less wish them

  210. well and you do nothing to ease their moment of this discomfort

  211. and their difficulty that is wrong.

  212. That's illustration. He gave, you know what?

  213. I can relate to that, you can relate to that there have been

  214. times perhaps in your life. You've needed somebody to help

  215. you or you've helped somebody who needed your help.

  216. And it's a we help each other today, I want to help you

  217. tomorrow. I may need your help for you to

  218. lift me up. What does it what we're dealing

  219. with here? This case of the Netherlands and

  220. verse 15. And as he illustrates his

  221. question and verse 16, he drives his point home.

  222. He said, I don't know what is it profit for you to say?

  223. Well, I hope the best for you and you just walk away and do

  224. nothing. There are some very serious

  225. problem with that type of Christianity.

  226. The fact of the matter is there the lack of spirituality of your

  227. Christianity. If we act this way whenever I

  228. say you, by the way, it's in me. It's me, it's me.

  229. And you both, it's all of us. We working together to learn.

  230. God's will to learn God's way. All right.

  231. Miss stay on was over 17. Even so faith, if it has not

  232. worked, This is dead being alone.

  233. Listen verse 17 is so powerful. That's what James is driving at

  234. and all 13 of these verses. He said I want you to know faith

  235. without works is dead. That is what he's preaching,

  236. that's why he's promoting he laid that out.

  237. Her 17 verse 20 and verse 26. He gave you last, raishin, he

  238. gave question. So everybody would know.

  239. When you put say, I've got faith in, you don't do, show your

  240. words that Faith to of the. Do you any good?

  241. That's why I keep saying. Why does it profit?

  242. What does it gain, you? What are you accomplishing?

  243. Okay, here it is. Everybody I've got faith.

  244. Is that convincing? I got faith?

  245. You don't say anything. Don't do anything.

  246. I got it. You know, faith without works is

  247. dead James, you exactly what he said.

  248. So therefore you understand, we need to put our faith into

  249. action. We will help ourselves

  250. spiritually will have the one we're reaching out to will help

  251. her home. Congregation have a brighter

  252. light before this community. We're showing people what

  253. Christianity is all about. Putting your faith into

  254. practice. Stay with me, please.

  255. Let's look at Verse 18. Yay!

  256. A man may say thou Hast faith, I have worked show.

  257. Me, thy faith, without thy words, I'll show them my faith

  258. by my works, I want to pause, there he is.

  259. Driving this home in a very unique way.

  260. He's an okay, you got faith. I've got faith.

  261. You show me your faith without your works.

  262. I show you my faith by my works. He's driving to this point.

  263. Holman I could have easily put diverse right here too.

  264. What he's doing here is showing the importance of both faith and

  265. works know if no hands and no box.

  266. This is wonderful than teaching were receiving right here from

  267. word of God, verse 19. This is another case of the

  268. illustration of the devil right here, verse 19.

  269. Now I believe there is one God thou doest.

  270. Well, the devil also believed and trembled The devil also,

  271. believe and tremble. If you're saved by faith, One of

  272. the devil saved. He had faith.

  273. James said the devil also believed in tremble.

  274. You know, really. You can read that verse and say,

  275. okay, case and point proven, James show that to be a very

  276. valuable case. It is also interesting to watch,

  277. people read these verses and try to break them apart and say,

  278. Really, they don't mean what they say that.

  279. Preach, I listen to on YouTube this afternoon, as I listened to

  280. him. As if this is going to be

  281. interesting, what's he going to say about that?

  282. He did. I know what it says but it

  283. doesn't mean what it says. I thought, excuse me.

  284. Am I going to believe you tonight?

  285. I don't even know where my going to leave the word of God for

  286. what it really says, and what it really means.

  287. I promise you. One thing, the Bible says what

  288. it means, and means what it says, and the Bible didn't

  289. inspired book of God. God Almighty, he looks at the

  290. word of God, he inspired the word of God.

  291. It means what it says. Okay.

  292. Well let's read on now. Let's take a look at verse 20

  293. but with I know o vain man. Here comes another question by

  294. the way. It's question number four but

  295. we'll do. I know o vain man?

  296. That faith without works is dead.

  297. I don't want to be repetitious in this lesson but we are

  298. driving the prove the proposition that the writer

  299. James had in mind. And in verse 20 he said it

  300. again, faith without works is dead.

  301. Said, you know, today we are not first greater than there.

  302. Might be some virtue phrases here but by enlarge none of us

  303. have heard screams. Okay, we can understand what

  304. this first means and all these other verses they are wonderful

  305. passages and we can help save people's Souls by knowing how to

  306. explain this. This has been very helpful to me

  307. and studying the Bible with people when they have a

  308. background of denominationalism, they've had the background of

  309. salvation by faith alone. They've had the background of

  310. your them. No matter what you do it doesn't

  311. matter. And only known these verses

  312. right here. Have helped.

  313. They've helped tremendously. Okay, let's continue.

  314. I mean, James is on a roll here and here he goes again and verse

  315. 21. What Not Abraham, Our Father

  316. justified by works when he offered his son Isaac upon the

  317. altar. That's question.

  318. Number 5. Question number six in the next

  319. verse, see the end how Faith wrought with his works and by

  320. works and Faith made perfect. Now take a look at that, he

  321. reaches back to an illustration of Abraham that great story.

  322. And at this part of the lesson, you know, I'm always tempted,

  323. run back and tell you the The whole story of Abraham and Isaac

  324. but you know what, I don't do that.

  325. I love the story of Abraham and Isaac, I studied it just last

  326. week before coming here and getting ready for this meeting

  327. but you know what? James didn't, he didn't go back

  328. and rehash whole story. These people knew about Abraham

  329. and Isaac and I know most of you know about Abraham and Isaac

  330. maybe every one of you know about it.

  331. But God told Abraham to offer up, Isaac his son that was very

  332. difficult and trying time that a lot of interesting moments here

  333. are unfolded but what James did he use that illustration of

  334. Abraham? Been told offer up his son,

  335. Isaac. As foot in faith into action.

  336. God told Abraham. What to do, Abraham, didn't

  337. understand all about it but what he did do is exactly what the

  338. father said to do. Oh, and B2B hard, it'd be

  339. terrible to be put in that position.

  340. We know how the story ends and it is by God's name, be

  341. glorified and it is so fabulous. Well, you see when you look at

  342. these verses here and verse 21 and 22, when you look at these

  343. two questions and you look at that illustration, you can see

  344. how it is that James. The brother of Our Lord is that

  345. a straight in that you've got to put your faith into action?

  346. Your faith without works is dead.

  347. You can have faith all day long but if you Don't have the work.

  348. Should support that faith. It will accomplish you.

  349. Nothing. Please understand that.

  350. That's the reason we should not let days turn into weeks and

  351. weeks, turn into months and we are really doing nothing for the

  352. kingdom. The kingdom of God, the church.

  353. The spiritual family. We aren't involved in other

  354. people's lives. We're not trying to help other

  355. people. We've got to put our faith into

  356. action. We've got to do that.

  357. Alright, let's read again. Please.

  358. We're back. Still James to and we were stay

  359. there. In verse 23.

  360. And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith Abraham believed

  361. God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness and he was

  362. called the friend of god. Wow, Abraham.

  363. The friend of God, I want you to remember that Abraham.

  364. The friend of God, because in just a moment.

  365. We want to go to re have a hornet.

  366. In contrast to Abraham the friend of God.

  367. So it goes from one extreme of the friend of God Abraham to

  368. Rahab an immoral woman to prove the faith without works is dead.

  369. What an extreme is kind of like the difference between day and

  370. night as far as you can. Imagine a man Abraham quality

  371. and seasoned veteran doing what God Said to a woman who's

  372. immoral. But he used her to prove the

  373. same point that he used Abraham for James is driving this point

  374. home. My friend of this is 2000 years

  375. ago. We've got it today and it's just

  376. as effective today. As it was then oh believe me,

  377. there have been many people to try to disassemble change to 14

  378. through 26. There's some time than a Bible

  379. study. Someone has their Bible and

  380. their Translation of choice. And I region as a constant here

  381. translation for a minute. I look at it yet, it's there.

  382. Okay. Now I want us to read those

  383. verses. I want you to read that to me,

  384. please. And and we were, I listened

  385. carefully and I follow my Bible and they reading their Bible and

  386. their translation of choice, whatever it is, they're choose

  387. and I'll make sure that they're lining up good and most of them

  388. do, I've never had one real of the, didn't they lined up very

  389. well? And I said, let's figure this

  390. out. Why does James saying?

  391. And you know what? And just a very few minutes in

  392. less than an hour of a person's home, study setting across the

  393. kitchen table setting, the comfortable, living room are

  394. just setting and visit with them wherever we may be.

  395. It is so wonderful to let the word of God speak and let us

  396. learn. It is amazing T.

  397. My friend is not going to be hard now.

  398. I know many of you have friends and neighbors that you really

  399. want to reach out to but you feel maybe in Inadequate, you

  400. feel inexperienced. I know that how that is, because

  401. we all feel that way at times about certain topics.

  402. You've got rather in here. That's very, very season.

  403. They can help you but also the more you do it.

  404. The better. You get.

  405. And getting to know James to do. The very important principle to

  406. help you be more successful than what you've ever thought

  407. possible. Okay, let's read on.

  408. Please James the second chapter verse 24 He see then how that by

  409. works. A man is Justified not by faith

  410. only. Now, you know what, I'm going to

  411. say not by faith, only the only time you have read you reading,

  412. your Bible. Faith only is right here and

  413. James the second chapter. And they said by warts by worse,

  414. a man is Justified not by faith. Only.

  415. We get the majority of the religious denomination groups

  416. religions X y&z whoever you want a name?

  417. Majority of them. Will I want to teach you Faith.

  418. Don't they don't that's what this guy did today, Faith,

  419. Thomas Faith, only Words has nothing to do with it.

  420. You don't have to do one thing that is ridiculous.

  421. You cannot read this first right here and draw any conclusion,

  422. verse 24, then Faith only does not save but your words is

  423. important to let me read it again please.

  424. You see? Then how that by works a man is

  425. Justified and not by faith only. Now let's bring in another

  426. illustration. Likewise also was not Rahab the

  427. Harlot justified by works when she received the messengers and

  428. sent them out another way. Again, just like with Abraham

  429. and Isaac. I'm really tempted to go over

  430. and tell you all about Rahab the Harlot but you know, James

  431. didn't. So I'm not going to He just used

  432. an Old Testament occurrence that these people knew about, and you

  433. know about rehab, you know about Abraham, you know, about these

  434. illustrations that he's using and you can relate to that, and

  435. he's using it to show that faith without works is dead.

  436. He said again likewise in the same manner as Abraham was, was

  437. not Rahab the Harlot justified by works.

  438. What's more? He used that term justified by

  439. works. It is amazing to me how people

  440. can stand in front of an intelligent audience.

  441. And say, words has nothing to do with your salvation when you

  442. look at James to and it said you're just fine my words and

  443. when we get to the conclusion of the lesson and we read those two

  444. passages and Revelation, you're going to see how important it

  445. works hard. I want to tell you right now,

  446. it's time for inventory of our lives and to make sure that we

  447. look at our life. Really good.

  448. I want us to look. It ourself like God looks at us.

  449. I want us to be that open and that honest that we look at our

  450. self like God, does he sees everything about us?

  451. Don't you? Look at yourself like you.

  452. Look at others, you know. It's amazing to me how people

  453. look at others and they find very critical things.

  454. Sometime to say. They lick themselves and they

  455. minimize their shortcomings. Just listen to people.

  456. Father. Forgive those who sin against

  457. us, listen to the prayers, father, forgive those who sin

  458. against us, and please forgive me of my weaknesses and

  459. shortcomings listen for that. Hatred all over the country.

  460. Those who do me wrong, they sin. But when it's me, it's a

  461. weakness. It's a shortcoming.

  462. It is amazing. Maybe it's part of humanity, I

  463. don't know, but tell you what, we need to understand our sin is

  464. just as bad as in that Skies. Don't minimize your own.

  465. Just get rid of him and God has showed us how don't try to

  466. manipulate God. You're not going to win, don't

  467. go up against God. You're going to lose.

  468. That's what's going to happen. We will lose Let's just accept

  469. God's Will and I've got so many other lessons that I want to

  470. preach throughout this week that I'm not get to them all and I'm

  471. going to wish I did, but I'm not be able to.

  472. But I want to show you the love of God.

  473. And what he did help you go to heaven and learning this truth

  474. right here, will help everybody know that your name is written

  475. in the Lamb's Book of Life. Your name is written in heaven.

  476. All right, let's take another look here.

  477. Verse 25 with your seventh. Question, number 2, verse 26.

  478. Now the last verse of this reading for as the body without

  479. the spirit is dead, even so faith without works is dead.

  480. Also here's the last illustration given in verse 26,

  481. he uses your physical body, your body.

  482. Without the spirit is dead, he uses that to equate, faith

  483. without works is dead. Dead.

  484. When your body loses its spirit, it's dead body.

  485. When your faith has no word is dead.

  486. Faith. We today will not be saved with

  487. the dead faith. We will be saved with a living

  488. working, active faith. This should motivate us to do

  489. more than what we have been doing.

  490. He should motivate us to get more involved in our spiritual

  491. growth and helping other people to grow.

  492. You know, the more you can reach other people by God's word and

  493. reading the word of God. He just means tremendous amount.

  494. Well, faith without works is dead, has been proven by James,

  495. the brother of Our Lord chapter 2, 14 to 26, in order to prove

  496. that he has seven questions, and he addressed it very directly,

  497. he gave us five illustrations and then in conclusion tonight,

  498. Revelation 14 and verse 13. There are many verses that we

  499. could go to right here. I've just chosen to but the last

  500. book of the New Testament book of Revelation The 14th chapter

  501. verse 13, blessed are the dead, which die in the Lord.

  502. They shall rest from their labors and their Works.

  503. Do follow them there. What their Works do, follow

  504. them. You know what, that shows Works

  505. matters, even after you die your words, We'll follow you.

  506. Oh let's go to another passage Revelation, 20 and verse 12.

  507. Oh this this passage here, it will wake you up.

  508. It's amazing. John.

  509. Who's writing the Great Book of Revelation said, I saw the dead

  510. small and great stand before God and the bunch was opened.

  511. And another book was opened which is The Book of Life.

  512. Notice what he said, Revelation 20:12 and the dead were judged

    Revelation 20:12

  513. out of those things written in the books.

  514. According to their words, Do not Overlook Revelation, 14:13

  515. Revelation 20:12. I do you discuss the points of

    Revelation 20:12

  516. James 2? Remember the passages of

  517. scripture said and the final day, even after you die, your

  518. words are going to follow you. And the final day, the votes

  519. will be open and another book was opened which is a bunch of

  520. lies and you want your name that book of life and you're going to

  521. be judged by your works. Dear friends, we want to go to

  522. heaven, all of us want to and This Magnificent crowd.

  523. Every one of you. We've got something in common.

  524. We all want to go to heaven. We want our name in the Lamb's

  525. Book of Life. We want to be saved, and the way

  526. to know that you're saved, putting your faith into action,

  527. your faith by itself, will not take you there.

  528. Your faith and works and combined together.

  529. Will I ask you today, please consider where you are

  530. spiritually it? If you're right and ready to

  531. meet your maker, God bless you. God bless you in every way.

  532. But, if you've got sin in your life, there's two ways you need

  533. to go about getting forgiveness of that.

  534. If you never obey the gospel and baptism, that have a baptistery

  535. here, they can fill up in 15 minutes.

  536. You've heard the word of God. Believe that word repent of your

  537. sins confess, a beautiful name of the Lord Jesus Christ be

  538. buried in baptism to wash away your sins, for the remission of

  539. sins. And the Lord will allow you to

  540. the church. Your name will be written in the

  541. Lamb's Book of Life. Wow, that's amazing.

  542. If you've never been baptized the way according to scripture,

  543. you need to be if you have, but you've had a spiritual Challenge

  544. and difficulty Maybe plenty of them.

  545. You need to repent of your sins and confess your faults.

  546. Make a change in your life confess.

  547. I have sinned don't beat around the bush.

  548. I have sinned, don't go blamin. Anybody say I have sinned that's

  549. how that prodigal son didn't look 15 when he decided he

  550. wanted to go back home and said father I have sinned We need to

  551. own up to it when we do wrong and then the Bible says confess

  552. your faults one to another and pray one for another.
