  1. Why we talk about the flood? I want to talk about the world,

  2. that no one knew. Now, remember that before the

  3. flood, we don't know what that world was really like.

  4. In fact, all we have about that world is fairly the first five

  5. chapters of the Book of Genesis and that covers about 1656

  6. years. And so, there are lots of

  7. information. There is lots of information

  8. that's not given to us now to illustrate, why We do not for

  9. sure. Why we do not know what that

  10. world was. For example.

  11. You know, we hear the myth of the ancient city of Atlantis,

  12. well that City might not have been a myth.

  13. It might have come from a real story from a city that existed

  14. before the flood, the technology that they had the science that

  15. they knew we lost in the flood for another example.

  16. In Glen Rose Texas, there's a museum where they found an axe

  17. head in South Texas. They Dated it about six thousand

  18. years ago which would have been before the flood and there is a

  19. mixture of chloride and iron ore and other chemicals that

  20. modern-day metal people would like to understand and know how

  21. to do. They can't repeat it.

  22. So the point is we don't know what kind of world that was all

  23. we can do is take what the text tells us because that world that

  24. no one knew when he entered the boat is gone.

  25. You know, people talk about, historically, you've read

  26. stories about how these ancient soldiers and ancient General

  27. search the world to find the Garden of Eden that they might

  28. find that gold. Well, the problem is the Garden

  29. of Eden, no longer exist. Before the Flood, there was a

  30. cherubim angel with a flaming sword guarding the entrance to

  31. that Garden. But after the flood it was gone,

  32. it exists, no more. And so we're going to talk a

  33. little bit about the world that Noah's move, the weather that

  34. Noah move the causes of the Noah's flood.

  35. The effects of Noah's flood and of course, Noah's flood and the

  36. end of the world. Now, know that this story of the

  37. flood is interesting for many reasons, first of all, it's only

  38. ten Generations from the time that a Has created.

  39. Now that may appear or seemed like a long time, it's about

  40. 1656 years, but when you read in Genesis chapter 5, you'll find

    Genesis 5 chapter mention

  41. that many individuals lived to be over 900 years old.

  42. In fact, the person we teach our children that was recorded to

  43. have lived, the longest was Methuselah.

  44. So when you consider these genealogies that are found there

  45. in the Book of Genesis from Adam to Noah, I want you to realize

  46. eyes that probably Seth died before Noah.

  47. But English, the grandson of Noah probably was alive whenever

  48. duel was born. And so he had a very close

  49. communication with the beginning.

  50. And of course, during this period of Bible History, their

  51. record was passed down from generation to generation and

  52. Moses is recorded or is given the credit as to brought those

  53. records together or to have recorded the Book of Genesis as

  54. we know it. So It was about two thousand

  55. years after creation, that the things we read in the Book of

  56. Genesis were recorded so we have to remember that.

  57. That's very important but what's interesting it's not all that

  58. long. We commonly see Generations 4

  59. and 5. But they saw many more

  60. Generations than that because of their ancient age because of

  61. their extended age. Now what you have to also

  62. remember is that God created a perfect world.

  63. He created a world where there was no sin, he Created man with

  64. perfect Intelligence on the first day that man was born or

  65. made was created. He wasn't born, he had the

  66. ability to look at the animals that God calls to come into His

  67. presence. In fact, if you study the

  68. record, you'll find that the animal man relationship before

  69. the flood was also different and it changed After the flood.

  70. But these animals came into no on the first day that he was

  71. created. I don't, he was only one day

  72. old, there are six hours old or whatever, but he was created.

  73. All groan with full perfect intelligence.

  74. Now he was not perfect in the sense that God is perfect

  75. omniscient and omnipotent, but he obviously are omnipotent, but

  76. he was obviously a perfect being God said him in a perfect world.

  77. Everything was perfect and ready for his care.

  78. And when all of these animals came into him, he not only had

  79. the mindset to name those animals, but he had the ability

  80. to remember those names because they still wear that name today,

  81. like cattle and dogs. Dog and cat, and lion and

  82. elephant. And so forth.

  83. We still go by those names today.

  84. Adams, the one that named them. So God gave man, a perfect

  85. intelligence. That's what he did.

  86. He gave the world, a perfect existence, but man, messed it

  87. up. It was sin that caused thorns

  88. and thistles to grow in the garden.

  89. It was sin that caused the universe to begin to die up

  90. until the time of my Adam's sin. There was no death.

  91. In fact, no matter which theistic evolutionary idea, you

  92. try to incorporate into the Bible, it won't work.

  93. There are too many contradictions.

  94. I can spend an hour talking about the contradictions between

  95. any theistic evolutionary idea in the Bible but the main one is

  96. that all of them suggest that, before Adam, we have seen death

  97. and suffering. And the Bible says that sin and

  98. death and suffering was brought to us by Adam and Romans 5:12.

    Romans 5:12

  99. And so that finishes the day age theory that finishes, the Gap

  100. theory that finishes, whatever, Theory.

  101. You want to talk about and there are many that people have tried

  102. to incorporate in the Bible. There's no way that can be the

  103. Bible contradicts that. You can't believe Evolution and

  104. believe the Bible. Now there is there are two kinds

  105. of evolution there's macro-evolution and there's

  106. microevolution and macro-evolution claims that that

  107. 1/8 can become a man. And that's that's false.

  108. Now microevolution is within the species or within the There is a

  109. vast opportunity or ability to change.

  110. That's why it is known today that the Chihuahua and the Great

  111. Dane came from the original dog, male and female that came off

  112. the boat. So you're only, there was only

  113. one, dog one male and one female, and the Great Dane.

  114. And the chihuahua have come from that original match that came

  115. off the boat, so don't get mixed up.

  116. There is there is change or I don't like to use the word

  117. Evolution, but there is changed within kinds.

  118. That's why we have black. People.

  119. And that's why we have white people, and yellow people and

  120. red people because within the species at the beginning of

  121. creation, Adam and Eve had the ability to have dark children

  122. have like children what whichever color or skin tone a

  123. chador or face feature. You want to talk about that was

  124. within Adam and Eve to have that capability and that's how all

  125. these different races came and we don't have time to study

  126. about that. But we could now look at this.

  127. God made a perfect world. Men corrupted, it, he corrupted

  128. it with sin. The Bible says, and the Lord

  129. said, my spirit shall not strive with man forever for he is

  130. indeed, flesh. Yet his days shall be 120 years.

  131. Now, some people try to say that this is the numbering of the

  132. days of man, but this is interesting to me because, you

  133. know, Moses is the one that wrote Psalms 90.

  134. Now, all my life, I heard preachers, I heard preachers.

  135. Get up and quote from Psalm 90 about a man's life being Three

  136. score, and ten and and if he's blessed, he lived to be 44

  137. score. But if you look at the beginning

  138. of the text, it says that Moses wrote that.

  139. Now the point is this if this is a setting of man's age to a

  140. lower level, if that's what he's talking about, then there's a

  141. contradiction in the Bible. Moses said, the average age of

  142. man is 70 years, not 120. Now.

  143. Not only that Noah lived after this to be over 900 years later.

  144. Jacob went into the pharaoh of Egypt later in the text in

  145. Genesis and he was 175 years old at Pharaoh was astonished at the

  146. fact that he looks so young. So again that blasted the

  147. 120-year thing way out of proportion.

  148. The point is in this text God's not talking about the average

  149. age of anybody. Talking about the end of the

  150. world. Now, this is really interesting

  151. because Noah would have been 480 years old when this decree was

  152. made because we know that he was 600 when he entered the Ark and

  153. the flood came so 120 years previous to that would have made

  154. him 480. But he did not have his first

  155. child until he's 500. now, the point is No, went out with the

  156. purpose and intent. Of saving his family and he

  157. saved his world. Now, I want you to look at lot

  158. for a minute. I don't think we always

  159. understand what's happening in the case of law.

  160. You remember, it says he pitched his tent toward Sodom.

  161. You remember that when those men tried to take the angels from

  162. Lots house, or those Godly men from Lots house, they said

  163. you've made yourself a judge over us.

  164. You remember that? The Bible says, he said at the

  165. gate. Now, when you read that

  166. expression, the Old Testament, that means he was a judge at

  167. you. In court, all their courts were

  168. held at the gate. Now, think about this, the Bible

  169. also tells us that he was a righteous man and that he vexed.

  170. His soul daily with their ungodly Deeds.

  171. So lots of righteous man. Now notice that, he's a judge,

  172. you know what his intent is? He intends to reform, Sodom,

  173. sometimes we get this idea. That if we get involved in

  174. politics, we can reform the world.

  175. He got so involved in, trying to reform the world, he lost his

  176. family. Now, I want you to think about

  177. this. He went out to save his the

  178. world. He lost his family and his

  179. world. No.

  180. Went out to save his family and he saved the whole world.

  181. Now, think about this. Have you ever wondered why

  182. Abraham stop for 10 people? Why did they burn you don't

  183. remember, when got those men came to Abraham in Genesis 18

  184. chapter and they told him that Sodom Gomorrah were going to be

  185. destroyed and he said my Lord, would you destroy the righteous

  186. with the wicked? I know you would never do that,

  187. suppose that there are just 50 righteous souls in Sodom

  188. Gomorrah. Would you destroy those two

  189. places and God said, no. And he of course, goes on down

  190. 45 and 40 and finally he gets down to 10 and he stops.

  191. Have you ever wondered why that he's, you know, I'm not sure out

  192. of tried a second time. But Abraham just keeps going.

  193. And he still winning when he stops at 10.

  194. Why does he stop at 10? If you ever wondered that Well

  195. over there. In Genesis 19, it tells us Those

  196. men were talking to lot and they said, you go tell your son's

  197. in-laws too. Now, that means he had to marry

  198. daughters. He had sons of laws, he had to

  199. have married daughters. Those men said, go tell your

  200. son's had to have at least two. Now, we know that lot had two

  201. virgin daughters and locked. His wife also make two, 2 4, 6,

  202. 8 10. You see why Abraham said that he

  203. knew his nephew, and he thought that he had saved his family,

  204. but you see lot made the mistake of going out and trying to save

  205. the society and he not only lost Society, but he lost his family.

  206. But Noah, on the other hand. Went out to save his family and

  207. as a result of saving his family, he saved his world.

  208. Well, so much for that. So in 120 years God decrees, I'm

  209. going to destroy it all, it's going to be finished the world,

  210. as we know it is going to end. Every air breather is going to

  211. die. They're going to see.

  212. See and feel destruction. It's the end of the world as we

  213. know it. Now we know that sea creatures

  214. were not going to die. Any fish were not going to die.

  215. They could live through this too.

  216. Terrible tragedy, but every air breather was going to suffer

  217. death at the hands of almighty. God, the world that no one knew

  218. was finished. And clearly, it was declared

  219. even eat at the Bible says, according to Jude preach that

  220. the coming of the Lord was upon them.

  221. Now let's talk a little bit about the weather.

  222. Go back to Genesis chapter 2. Now remember that Genesis 1 is

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  223. God's Divine statement of Creation in Genesis chapter 2 is

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  224. God's Divine commentary on what happened in.

  225. After two now he mentions things in Chapter 2.

  226. They did this not mentioned in chapter 1 because he's a making

  227. some application in explaining some things that he did on the

  228. first day that he needed to explain further.

  229. For example, the family, the fact that the institution of the

  230. family is explained clearly in Genesis chapter 2.

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  231. Now look at this passage Genesis chapter 2 verses fire and six

    Genesis 2 chapter mention

  232. before any plant of the field is in the earth than before any

  233. herb of the field had grown for the Lord.

  234. God had not caused it to rain on the The Earth, and there was no

  235. man to till the ground. Now notice that, when God

  236. created the herbs, when he created the grass, when he

  237. created the fruit trees, they were all full grown already.

  238. They all had the ability to reproduce instantly.

  239. God created it. He created it mature.

  240. So obviously it was new but it had the appearance of age it had

  241. to so that it can reproduce after its own kind.

  242. So this passage is not say that there was no grass on the earth.

  243. It's telling us that God had not caused it to rain upon the

  244. earth. Now, think about this.

  245. Why would he say that? Now, he's probably referring

  246. back to the first day of creation in Genesis chapter 5.

    Genesis 5 chapter mention

  247. On the second day, the Bible says that God, parted the waters

  248. below from the waters above, and he put a space between the

  249. waters above and the waters below.

  250. Now, again, I don't want you to misunderstand me.

  251. I'm not going to debate on this issue because we don't know for

  252. sure how the world was there. That world is gone.

  253. But to me this makes sense and so I'm going to share it with

  254. you because of what the Bible says notice now no rain and a

  255. Mist watered the ground. Now think about this God

  256. separated the waters, from the waters, and he put a space in

  257. between there. The Waters from the waters, and

  258. he put a space in there. Now, if that if that is true, if

  259. we understand that correctly, he must have put what might be

  260. referred to as a water canopy. Of vapor water canopy and of

  261. course, this would have caused several things.

  262. During the time of Noah, in fact, it would have had a

  263. greenhouse effect. You know, we talk we hear so

  264. much about the warming and we hear so much about the whole no

  265. Zone. Well, we don't know that that

  266. doesn't need to be there. Now, we can people can surmise

  267. and hypothesize, all they want, but we don't know why it's

  268. there. Maybe it's there because we're

  269. sprayed aerosol, but maybe chirico's, God, put it there and

  270. maybe that's part. Out of the system that's left

  271. over from from this system. Before the flood, we just don't

  272. know notice. Now, if this was true, there

  273. would not have been any rain. If this water canopy circled the

  274. Earth it would have caused a greenhouse effect.

  275. There would have been no hot desert Bakersfield's, it had

  276. been uniform. There would have been no

  277. freezing, Antarctica, or North Pole.

  278. There would have been no ice caps.

  279. In fact, you can read in National Geographic, which is it

  280. evolutionary? Jean.

  281. But they can't explain why they found those woolly mammoths in

  282. Siberia. That's frozen year-round.

  283. In fact, those woolly mammoths were frozen so fast that there's

  284. grass inside some of their tummies that never digested.

  285. That's pretty remarkable. Now if this were true, if this

  286. canopy circled, the Earth that would have been a vegetation

  287. area. In fact, the whole world would

  288. have been the vegetation area there would have been much more

  289. food and much more vegetation for consumption.

  290. There would have been no severe winds and so on.

  291. In fact, these rays that cause us to age and damage us and

  292. cause cause skin cancer that is many of them would have been

  293. reflected by the water canopy. And so that could have even that

  294. could even be a sinus to how, or why they live longer before the

  295. flood. Well, the Bible says that

  296. everybody's going to die. Hebrews 11:7, by faith, Noah

    Hebrews 11:7

  297. being divinely, warned of things, not yet.

  298. Seen, you see, God said it. Not had not rained.

  299. He watered the world in a different way before the flood

  300. Noah had not seen it rain but he believed God, enacted by faith

  301. in second Peter 3:6 by which the world.

    2 Peter 3:6

  302. That then existed Parish being flooded with water.

  303. Now, the world changed After the flood, there was a rainbow

  304. Before the Flood. There was no rainbow After the

  305. flood. There were clouds Before the

  306. Flood. The Bible does not speak of

  307. clouds. So, This probably our this is

  308. one of the solutions. Possibly, that could meet the

  309. text a water vapor canopy circling the earth.

  310. Now let's talk a little bit about the causes of the flood.

  311. We talked about the the world that no new.

  312. We've talked about the weather, no one knew.

  313. Now we're going to talk about the causes of the flood.

  314. If I were to go around the room to set this morning, think to

  315. yourself what would you say caused the flood nearly,

  316. everybody says why the rain wrong answer.

  317. It flooded for 150 days, but the rain only lasted 40 days.

  318. Now the rains contributed but again the waters Rose for 150

  319. days, the rain stopped after 40 days.

  320. See we don't we haven't always studied at like we should have.

  321. Let's look at what it says in the six hundredth year of Noah's

  322. life. In the second month, the

  323. seventeenth day of the month on that day, all The Fountains of

  324. the great deep were broken up and the windows of Heaven were

  325. open. So the first thing that happened

  326. was The Fountains of the great deep were broken up now.

  327. Think about this, the crust of the Earth was literally torn in

  328. two. You talk about earthquakes,

  329. water gushed from the Us of the earth into the sky, possibly

  330. shooting hundreds of feet into the air, as this water gushed

  331. out. And the Bible says that the same

  332. time, the windows of Heaven were opened it rain now, and the rain

  333. was on the earth, 40 days and 40 nights.

  334. It might have even appeared to rain after that.

  335. But God says it finished after that.

  336. But those Fountains of the great deep continue to gush out and

  337. obviously they shot hundreds of feet in the air all over the

  338. Earth and it would appear like in many places, it was still

  339. raining So here you have the ark floating on this water, and of

  340. course, the higher, the waters would rise higher, the ark would

  341. reach. John Whitcomb, said, stupendous

  342. upheaval of ocean basins accompanied by the collapse of

  343. the pre-flood Vapor canopy that Global terrarium.

  344. That provided an even surface temperature in a rainless world

  345. for 1560 or 56 years. Precipitated back to the Earth

  346. from which it had been lifted up on the second day of creation

  347. week and join those. Is rising Waters from below

  348. notice. Now, The Fountains of the great

  349. deep were, broke it up. The floodgates of Heaven were

  350. opened, there were many volcanoes.

  351. In fact, probably hundreds of volcanoes, there were

  352. earthquakes, there was lightning and thunder.

  353. There was static electricity in the air.

  354. There was rain, there was freezing rain, there was water

  355. gushing from the sitter of the earth.

  356. Now, that's the flood. Now, there's no way we can

  357. really understand what all that means without thinking about it

  358. a little bit. So, what I want to do is I want

  359. to take you back to the island of Krakatoa.

  360. Now, if you have a computer, all you have to do is type in

  361. Crockett. Oh, there are hundreds of

  362. websites about this about this volcano.

  363. It occurred in 1883 it's quite remarkable because after this

  364. blast, it frosted on July 4th in Midland, Texas.

  365. I don't know if you've ever been in, Midland, Texas in July, but

  366. you think Bakersfield's hot, you ought to be there.

  367. Now this is what the islands looked like before the flood, I

  368. mean, before the volcano eruption, and this is what they

  369. look like afterwards. I want to show you where this is

  370. at this is in Indonesia, in fact before this island blew up, it

  371. actually connected Malaysia and Indonesia.

  372. Right here. You can see over here, this is

  373. where I live in Zambia and of course, here's Australia down

  374. here in China. And Egypt and so forth.

  375. So here in Indonesia volcanoes, right in here there's a little

  376. bigger picture show, you kind of what it looks like today.

  377. Now on August 26 1883 Krakatoa begin a series of explosions.

  378. Now they were big explosions. In fact, these explosions caused

  379. a black cloud go into the sky for 17 miles.

  380. But they were not anything compared to what's going to

  381. happen the next day. Now, what happened was about

  382. 10:00 a.m. the next morning. It got very quiet like the Calm

  383. before storm and down below the surface of the ocean.

  384. These previous explosions the day before had caused a crack in

  385. the volcanoes crust and ocean water.

  386. Now, this morning was pouring into that volcano.

  387. Now, this is something that would have happened hundreds of

  388. times in the flood. And this is what caused this

  389. volcano to be. The be the biggest, modern-day

  390. explosion that we know about it is a thousand times bigger than

  391. the bombs we dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

  392. You think about that? They just literally did those

  393. atomic bombs, destroyed those cities but this explosion was a

  394. thousand times bigger than those explosions.

  395. Ocean water poured into this side, net directly into the

  396. heart of the volcano. And of course I remember.

  397. Again I want to emphasize this is what happened.

  398. During the flood Krakatoa literally blew up a column of

  399. rock and fireworks hurled into the atmosphere.

  400. In fact, it went 50 miles in the stratosphere and remained there

  401. for at least two years, scientists have recorded did

  402. record at that time that they ask in the dirt and the dust

  403. circle the Earth twice. And it changed temperatures all

  404. over the globe, it caused it to snow in July and Indiana.

  405. I think about that. It's hot in Indiana to in the

  406. summertime but the ash in the dirt, reflected the sunlight, so

  407. much. Just from this one volcano, it

  408. actually affected globally. The weather just one volcano

  409. Now, if one volcano could do that, what do you think?

  410. A thousand volcanoes can do like that?

  411. We can have an ice age. You see that's probably what the

  412. Ice Age came from, and that's probably why.

  413. There was an ice age for quite a while.

  414. After the flood was it took time for that Ash to get out of the

  415. sky. And just a few seconds, this

  416. 2600 foot Mountain literally exploded into bits and pieces

  417. and went into the air. Now dirt and Ash was to circle

  418. the globe, two years, Greg and cooling globally.

  419. The blast Was Heard 3,000 miles away.

  420. That's like somebody sitting in San Francisco, hearing a bomb,

  421. go off in New York. That's incredible.

  422. That's the kind of explosion we're talking about.

  423. The heavy fall of volcanic, ash extended, as far as far away as

  424. 900 miles, the tidal flooding occurred as far away as 4500.

  425. If you go and search this out you'll find that a large ship

  426. was lifted up out of the ocean and carried up over this island

  427. into the center and drop. I mean, you see the pictures of

  428. it, it's amazing. The tidal flooding was

  429. incredible, hundreds of people died from the tidal, flooding

  430. hundreds of miles away. From the actual explosion, 13,

  431. cubic miles of material was shot into the atmosphere and

  432. continued to circle the Earth. Now, this is what we're talking

  433. about when we're talking about the flood.

  434. We're talking about mud and slush and dirt and Ash, we're

  435. talking about all these things being scattered all over the

  436. Earth. Explosions water gushing out

  437. water falling from the sky. Layers of dirt being laid down.

  438. All over the surface of the Earth.

  439. That's why you can go in to Colorado and get up on that tall

  440. mountain and find shells. You see because water covered

  441. the whole earth. These shells came from the

  442. ocean. We know that no creature lives

  443. on top of that mountain, that comes from the shells.

  444. You can find in the Permian Basin in Midland, you could find

  445. seahorses. Well, those are ocean creatures.

  446. Where do they come from? That came from the flood.

  447. The flood changed the world. Stopping Envision.

  448. Imagine what it must have been like on that boat that barge

  449. with no Rudder, no, no Direction.

  450. No, no sense of going just floating in the surviving.

  451. This is the flood. This is the.

  452. These are the things that happened during that flood.

  453. And let's talk a little bit about the effects of the flood.

  454. Already, I think probably you're thinking about some effects.

  455. You know, one thing that comes to my mind is the Grand Canyon.

  456. Here you have hundreds of, you can look down at the Grand

  457. Canyon. I don't care how many degrees,

  458. or how many symbols of guy has on his name on the wall.

  459. There's no way he'll ever convince me to Colorado.

  460. River made that Canyon those layers were laid down there in

  461. the flood and that's why all evolutionary scientists want to

  462. say the flood was a local flood. But the Bible is contradictory

  463. to that. If you believe the Bible, you

  464. can't believe it's a local flood, because that's not what

  465. it says. In Genesis chapter 7 and All

    Genesis 7 chapter mention

  466. Flesh. Died that moved on the earth,

  467. birds and cattle and beasts. And every creeping thing that

  468. creeps on the earth and every man and in whose nostrils was

  469. the breath of the spirit of Life.

  470. All that was on the dry land died.

  471. And you think about that God does not mess with sin.

  472. We think because we can fool the preacher or we can fool the

  473. Brethren or we can keep Knowledge from my mother and dad

  474. or we can keep something from our wives or husbands, We think

  475. we can get by long as we don't get caught.

  476. I don't understand. Church leaders.

  477. That pretend and live double standards live double eyes.

  478. I'll never understand that. I guess I'm just naive and

  479. ignorant, I don't know but I don't understand that.

  480. God, it doesn't mess with us. I'm telling you, he got so fed

  481. up with, seeing he got. So fed up with wickedness.

  482. He got so fed up with double standards that he wiped out the

  483. world and I'm telling you, he'll deal with us the same way if we

  484. keep sending our life, Now, he don't want us to be lost.

  485. In fact for God, so loved the world that he gave his only

  486. begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not

  487. perish but have everlasting life.

  488. Well, I'm telling you. You got said in your life,

  489. you're going to pay for it, if you keep it there and you die in

  490. that sin. All that was on the dry land

  491. died. So he destroyed all living

  492. things which were on the face of the ground, both Man and Cattle

  493. creeping thing and bird of the air, they were destroyed from

  494. the earth, only Noah, and those who were with him in the ark

  495. remain alive, bodies animals, all Air breathers floating in

  496. the water. For over a year.

  497. Now the flood was on the earth. 40 days, the waters increased

  498. and lifted up the ark and it Rose high above the Earth, the

  499. waters prevailed, that means the waters, continue to rise and

  500. greatly increased on the earth and the Ark moved above out on

  501. the surface of the waters, and the waters prevailed exceedingly

  502. on the earth, and all this to do this, all the high heels under

  503. the whole heavens. We're covered.

  504. The waters prevailed 15 cubits upward about 22 feet and the

  505. mountains were covered. now, I want to, I want to ask you this

  506. question, what would it take To cause a cataclysmic flood.

  507. You know, everybody here probably is driven with the San

  508. Joaquin, Valley into the Sacramento Valley, Soul those

  509. Sutter Buttes. Haven't you, you think about

  510. that, the tallest Sutter Buttes about 2,900 feet?

  511. Suppose that, that one high heel was covered with water for a

  512. week. You think any of us would

  513. survive in Bakersfield? No way.

  514. In fact, this whole valley will be would be gone because the

  515. forcing, the crushing force of gravity would demand an equal

  516. depth, all over the planet, all over the valley, that's all it

  517. would take. Just one flood over one Hill

  518. 2,900 feet. For one week, well we're going

  519. to talking about a flood over one Hill.

  520. The Bible says that all the high hills were covered for months.

  521. It to a minimal depth of 22 feet.

  522. The higher men, climb the higher, the water Rose, Now,

  523. that's frightening. Cuz this is the God we're

  524. talking about now, he's merciful and he loves us but he is not

  525. going to tolerate sin. The same one that gave his son

  526. to die upon the cross has left us the symbol of the flood and

  527. remind us that punishment is coming to those who reject his

  528. word. Jesus said he that rejecteth me

  529. and receiveth, not my words at the one that judgeth him, the

  530. words that I have spoken. The same shall judge him in the

  531. last day, John 12:48 We're talking about the effects of the

    John 12:48

  532. flood. In Genesis chapter 8, the Bible

    Genesis 8 chapter mention

  533. says, then God remembered Noah now, that doesn't mean that God

  534. had forgotten know that word. Remember Remembered in the

  535. Hebrew. Simply means that he now has

  536. finished his task of destroying the Earth, and now, he's turning

  537. his attention. He's been with him all along,

  538. but now he's turning his attention to Noah and getting

  539. rid of those flood waters. So that knowing his family can

  540. leave the arc. So then God remembered Noah and

  541. every living thing. And all animals, that were with

  542. him in the ark, and God made a wind to pass over the earth and

  543. the waters subsided. But now, obviously Waters

  544. weren't enough. Look at this, The Fountains of

  545. the deep and the windows of Heaven were also stopped and the

  546. rain from heaven, where it was restrained.

  547. And the waters receded continually from the earth at

  548. the end of the hundred and fifty days.

  549. The waters decreased Now, here's a passage of divine commentary

  550. on what he thought about. In Genesis, this tells us what

  551. happened. How God really got rid of the

  552. water. Now certainly he calls the wind

  553. to blow and that helped. But notice what it says, Psalm

    Psalms 104:5–10

  554. 104 verses 5 through 10. I'm reading from The New

  555. American Standard Bible, he established the Earth upon its

  556. foundations so that it will not totter forever and ever talk

  557. about the creation verse 6, talk about the flood.

  558. You covered it with the If that is the ocean.

  559. As with a garment, the waters were standing above the

  560. mountains. Now, look at this, at you

  561. rebuke. They fled at the sound of your

  562. thunder. They hurried away.

  563. How did they do that? Look at what he says the

  564. mountains rolls. The valley sitting down to the

  565. place, which you established for them.

  566. You see, during the process of the Earth's crust breaking

  567. mountains, begin to rise. And at the conclusion of the

  568. flood God cause the mountains to rise high and he calls The

  569. Valleys to sink down. Did you know that near the

  570. Philippine Islands? There's a trench in the ocean

  571. and it's seven miles deep. In fact, it's so deep that we

  572. will have the technology really to go down in there and we're

  573. not for sure. What's in there, it's too deep.

  574. The pressures are too high, you see, God, cause that trench to

  575. take away the flood. And now you think about it the

  576. Rocky Mountains rose up? The ocean Basin near the

  577. Philippines. Sunk down here, all this water

  578. and the sludge, and this mud, and these layers and layers of

  579. sand and dirt. And Ash and dust rushed down the

  580. from the Colorado River, from the Arizona Grand, Canyon Basin.

  581. And in a matter of a few weeks at the most, a few months, the

  582. Grand Canyon forms. That's God's doing.

  583. You see the world we live in? Now, it's not God's creation and

  584. we look at the Grand Canyon. And we think what a marvelous,

  585. what a marvelous piece of the globe we're able to enjoy.

  586. I want to tell you something, that's part of the curse.

  587. You think part of the curse is beautiful what what what do you

  588. think his creation was? We don't know.

  589. We don't know, because the world we live in is cursed.

  590. It's been changed. Because of sin.

  591. The mountains, Rose Valley, shut down to the place, which you

  592. established for them yet. You said a boundary that they

  593. may not pass over so that they will not return to cover the

  594. Earth. So he promised you remember

  595. Abraham or Noah that he would not destroy the Earth again with

  596. one of the world that then was perished, the mountains grew

  597. higher, the valley, sunk deeper. The ecologic system was changed

  598. changed forever. You know what's interesting?

  599. The whole Bible looks to the flood.

  600. Hundreds of passages. These are just a few over 100

  601. times every Rider. As far as I know, looks back to

  602. the flood in some way, maybe in figure or in point whatever over

  603. and over again, you read about the flood and its significance.

  604. You can't underestimate the power of God in the flood.

  605. And I want to tell you something, when you think about

  606. the flood, it's a terrifying thing.

  607. It helps us to understand. Yes.

  608. God loves us. Yes.

  609. Noah was extended Grace. But God side is is is full of

  610. grace and at the same time it's full of Terror.

  611. That's why Paul said knowing therefore the terror of the

  612. lord, we persuade men for. We must all appear before the

  613. Judgment seat of Christ. That every one may receive the

  614. things done in his body whether you done good or bad.

  615. Now, you may forget your problems but Lord, don't forget

  616. them. And someday.

  617. We're all going to give kale. And pretending doesn't help.

  618. Because the only ones to see this us me when I pretend it's

  619. me and it's deceived. Now, Terry men never know.

  620. He made, I even go to his death bed thinking of whatever he

  621. thinks of me, good or bad. Because he really don't know,

  622. but God knows. And I answered him.

  623. And so, do you? Well, Noah's flood truly does

  624. point to the end of the world Peter says, but the day of the

  625. Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will

  626. pass away with a great noise and the elements will melt with

  627. fervent heat both the earth and the works that are in, it will

  628. be burned up. Therefore since all these things

  629. will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in,

  630. holy conduct and godliness, looking for, and hastening the

  631. coming of the day of God, which of because of which, the heavens

  632. will be dissolved being on fire and the elements will melt with

  633. fervent heat. Now, look at what he says,

  634. nevertheless. Nevertheless we according to his

  635. promise, look for new heavens and a new Earth in which

  636. righteousness. Dwells now, today, I don't know

  637. the minds of those who are present in this assembly.

  638. But I know this. The flood.

  639. It's for sure. And this reminds us that God's

  640. coming back and his son is going to be the judge for.

  641. He tells us in Acts 17 that he's appointed his son to be the

  642. judge. And all of us are going to be

  643. there. Every person from Adam to the

  644. last breather. That is living when he comes.

  645. The Bible says will be changed those who are alive will be

  646. changed into their Immortal bodies.

  647. Those who have died will be resurrected and they'll come

  648. forth from their graves, in their, with their new bodies.

  649. And Jesus says that, on that day, it'll be like a Shepherd

  650. device, divide sheep from goats. You know, we have this idea that

  651. we can get in judgment and we can get us out Lawyer, find some

  652. loophole. I'm going to tell you something

  653. Judgment Day is not trial day trials right now.

  654. We're on trial right now and the life that you live.

  655. When you take your last breath, is the end of the trial?

  656. How long does it take to tell this is a golden?

  657. This is a sheep. That's the way it'll be on that

  658. day. He's going to separate the goats

  659. from the Sheep. Those sheep.

  660. He's going to say, come on to me.

  661. Come on to me. He says, you've been Faithful

  662. over. A few things.

  663. I will make you ruler over many things.

  664. Enter thou into the joy of thy Lord.

  665. Are you ready? That's the question.

  666. Are you ready today? Because when I flood comes, it's

  667. going to be too late. That flood will not be with

  668. water. It'll be a fire.

  669. Paul says that when Jesus appears, they'll be a shout.

  670. They'll be a trumpet. Blow will hear the voice of the

  671. Archangel and we shall meet him in the air.

  672. Are you ready? Jesus said come unto me all ye

  673. that labor. Whatever it is in your life.
