  1. Not when we talk about the flood, we need to put the

  2. situation in context. It's only been about 1656 years

  3. since the creation of the universe.

  4. That's of course approximate, but that kind of gives us an

  5. idea of how much time that has passed by now.

  6. It tells us in the scripture that there have been ten

  7. Generations from Adam to Noah. And of course, you really need

  8. to put that in perspective because many of the Patriarchs

  9. lived to be over 900, even Noah himself was 600 at the time that

  10. the flood Came Upon the Earth. And so there's a very, it's very

  11. close. Close, even though it's 10

  12. Generations. The timeframe from the creation

  13. is very, very close. Not that it's not as far as you

  14. as you think because of the ages that these people lived.

  15. And so know I had a very close connection with the grandfather

  16. of us all and that's Adam. It's possible that he knew Seth

  17. and it's possible that he was born during the final years of

  18. Seth. Now, when God, created the

  19. universe, First, he created a perfect world.

  20. He created a world that was matured full-grown when he

  21. created man. He gave him the ability to

  22. reproduce. He created man full-grown the

  23. first day that he was born. How old was man?

  24. The first day, he was created one hour after his creation.

  25. Well, it was one hour old, but how old did he appear?

  26. You see. Did he look like he's 30?

  27. They look like he's 20 because he was created full-grown.

  28. Absolutely perfect in every way now primitive man.

  29. What does that make? You think of primitive man?

  30. When you hear the term primitive, man?

  31. Most of us if we haven't really thought about it.

  32. Think of a caveman that can hardly walk and maybe some eight

  33. white figures, but you see we're talking about primitive, man.

  34. This is the first man. This is no man.

  35. Adam and the Bible says that he was created by God with perfect

  36. everything, he was perfect. Even in intelligence, his mind

  37. was perfect, he was created with much knowledge.

  38. Now, how much knowledge God chose to put in the Adam?

  39. I don't know, but I'm sure he had the ability to make a fire.

  40. The first day, he was created. He had the ability, the Bible

  41. says to bring the animals, at least the domesticated animals,

  42. the animals, that would be domesticated in the future.

  43. He had the ability to bring those animals into his presence.

  44. God caused them to come into His presence and he had the ability

  45. to name each one and then he not only could name them but he can

  46. remember the names that he gave. Now, some of you have told me

  47. your name and I can't remember it 5 minutes later.

  48. But Adam was able to name these creatures and then he was able

  49. to remember his intelligence, his intellect was perfect and

  50. the technology and the information that man had in the

  51. beginning, we just don't know, it's been lost, it was lost in

  52. the flood. So God, created a perfect world,

  53. a sinless world, a world where there was no death, but of

  54. course Satan came on the scene and it was not all that long.

  55. Probably less than 100 years and Satan came on the The scene and

  56. the Bible says that Satan deceived Eve and the man also

  57. partook of that forbidden fruit and thus the fall into the

  58. world's sin entered the world. Now the Bible says that evil

  59. Communications or evil Manor, evil ways of life, corrupt, good

  60. morals. And so we have this evil, the

  61. sin that enters the world and it feels the World.

  62. In fact just ten Generations at the time of Noah's life when he

  63. first evidently heard of the flood, he must have been about

  64. four hundred and eighty years old.

  65. So by the time that no is 480 years old, he has no children,

  66. he has no family and the Bible tells us that the Earth had

  67. become very, very corrupt. In fact, it has become so

  68. corrupt. That God decreed, he's going to

  69. destroy it. Now, what we need to know, or

  70. what we need to remember is that there have I've always been

  71. there. Always will be until the end of

  72. time. In fact, that's what the parable

  73. of the tares teaches in Matthew Chapter 13 and teaches us that

    Matthew 13 chapter mention

  74. there are, is going to be of a group of good.

  75. There's going to be a group of evil, all the way to the end of

  76. time. They'll never be a time when

  77. there are both groups represented.

  78. Now, obviously, the good are always minority as far as the

  79. numerator as far as the numbers are concerned, but there have

  80. always been men who were following God and men who are

  81. following after. Themselves.

  82. Now, it's interesting, when you read the first five chapters of

  83. the Book of Genesis because it gives us a genealogy of the two

  84. lines, the descendants of Adam through Seth and the descendants

  85. of Adam through cane. But it's always been intriguing

  86. to me because it only gives us Seven Generations from cane that

  87. is from Adam to laymen. The genealogy ends.

  88. Now the genealogy of Seth's decisions continues on but

  89. there's probably a reason for that.

  90. You see the Book of Genesis, yes, it is a book of History.

  91. It gives us some history facts, but it was not written as a book

  92. of History. It was written to give us what

  93. we need to know about the scheme of redemption, to develop the

  94. theme of The Bible, which of course, is the Redemption of

  95. man. And so there are lots of things

  96. that are left out. There are lots of gaps, so to

  97. speak. Weak things that occurred or

  98. happened that we don't need to know about it.

  99. We don't need to understand and we don't need information about

  100. to develop the story that God intended.

  101. But now it's interesting because the Seventh Generation from Adam

  102. through Seth was extremely different than the Seventh

  103. Generation from Adam who came. Now Enoch of course never died

  104. but limit changed. God's will you know sometimes

  105. people have the idea that polygamy was something that was

  106. always practiced. This is interesting.

  107. Here we have seven generation its nearing the time of the

  108. flood so probably at least a thousand years.

  109. No man. As far as we know, has taken

  110. more than one wife. Now why do you suppose that is

  111. the case? You see the case is the reason

  112. was because God intended relationships to be monogamous.

  113. That's the way he started it. We don't have the detailed

  114. information about that but that's the way God wanted it.

  115. That's the way God intended it. You know, we talked about David,

  116. we talk about Solomon, but when you read the words of Moses, you

  117. find out that even the King was forbidden and taking many wives.

  118. You see, they've, they've violated the Lord's plan when

  119. they took more than one wife. And the point is God, under that

  120. old system under those times of the Patriarchs and the and the

  121. time of Moses, he tolerated or allowed some things that he

  122. didn't necessarily approve of. But now, I want you to notice

  123. what happens here. The Bible says they claim it

  124. took for himself, two wives. The name of one was adah and the

  125. name of the second was Zilla so he took for the first time of

  126. second wife. Now, look at what happens here

  127. you have these two Godly or these two human lines, these two

  128. human genealogies, you have the sons of God, who followed in the

  129. steps of Seth, you have the sons of men who followed in the steps

  130. of Cain and you know, of course, that Kate was the one that rose

  131. up and killed his brother. Look at what it says here and as

  132. Genesis 4 verse 26 and as for Seth to him, also, a son was

    Genesis 4:26

  133. born and he named him Enoch. Then men began to call on the

  134. name of the Lord. And the point is they obeyed the

  135. voice of the Lord in spite of that other line, in spite of

  136. that other Godless line. There are men who were following

  137. the plan of God, who were walking according to the

  138. dictates, Takes of the almighty, but the generation of Labor,

  139. tins with the 7. And it says that Enoch walked

  140. with God. Now, look at this, the reason I

  141. don't know what happens to the slides got deleted.

  142. Looks like. The reason that God destroyed

  143. the Earth was because this Godly line chose to marry.

  144. The Godless Lon, it was unscriptural marriage that

  145. caused the world to be destroyed.

  146. If you think about that, some people say ha didn't matter who

  147. you married, that matter if you marry somebody the church, I'm

  148. going to tell you something. Not everybody in the church is

  149. fit to be married. But if you go out there in the

  150. world and selected select your spouse, you're asking for

  151. trouble. Now, if you've already done

  152. that, I'm not talking to you. You can't change.

  153. What what's in the past. In fact, after you've done an

  154. act, there's no way you can go back and undo it.

  155. But the point is our young people need to think about this

  156. because this is what destroyed the world think about it.

  157. It is starting the Earth. Everything upon the Earth was

  158. destroyed man. And Beast because of these

  159. unscriptural, marriage has Well, dog warns man that the day is

  160. coming when an end to all this is going to occur, God warned

  161. humankind that there's no longer going to be Mercy or grace

  162. extended in fact, Jude's reveals to us in verse 7, that his

  163. grandfather that the grandfather of Noah preached about coming

  164. judgment. The although that's not recorded

  165. in the Book of Genesis, the scripture tells us that Hebrews

    Hebrews 11 chapter mention

  166. chapter 11, Noah being divinely warned, prepared, an ark now

  167. knows that A preacher of righteousness God gave him the

  168. message now, notice what happened here?

  169. We have the wrong idea about how God dealt with man and how God

  170. deals with men. He always dealt with man,

  171. directly and indirectly. In other words, he never in any

  172. age, dealt directly with every person, He always used a medium

  173. to deal with the general populace.

  174. Now we have religions today that say that you have to have a holy

  175. spirit experience, you got to be dealt with directly to be saved,

  176. but when you read and study the Bible from the beginning, to the

  177. end, he never dealt directly with every individual.

  178. In fact, he used mediums. Now, the gospel or the truth.

  179. That was proclaimed was always proclaimed first orally.

  180. That's exactly what Paul was saying.

  181. In Ephesians chapter 3, when he says, I received the gospel

    Ephesians 3 chapter mention

  182. message that I delivered to you by Revelation.

  183. Now he delivered delivered it to them orally.

  184. Now, he's writing to the Ephesians who are members of the

  185. church in the first century. The age that we know of as the

  186. miraculous age and yet during the miraculous age, those at

  187. Ephesus could not receive the message of God directly.

  188. It was indirectly through a medium and that was through Paul

  189. the man. But of course, we know that this

  190. medium changed first, the message was revealed orally and

  191. that's what it was all the way back to the beginning.

  192. And then, of course, it was written down, at Paul said, in

  193. Ephesians, that he had written down that he wrote in few words,

  194. the message that he had received directly.

  195. And now they of course through the written text again through

  196. the medium of God's word received his message.

  197. Now I want you to think about this.

  198. This is the way it works today. This is the way it worked during

  199. the time of the flood, this is the way it worked.

  200. During the time of Moses, there was always a medium to the

  201. general populace, only the Selected Few receded directly

  202. And now Paul says, I received directly, but your medium was

  203. me. In fact, Ephesians chapter 3

    Ephesians 3:5

  204. verse 5. He says that the spirit reveal

  205. it to the apostles and the prophets.

  206. Now, in second Corinthians are rather First Corinthians,

    1 Corinthians 4 chapter mention

  207. chapter 4. Paul says, I want you to

  208. understand something I have begun to transfer this Authority

  209. from myself and upon us. Now, Paul was an apostle of

  210. policy was a prophet. He Said I've begun to transfer

  211. this Authority from the man to the written page.

  212. And he says I want you Caribbeans to learn not to think

  213. above that which is written. This is in the first century you

  214. see. It was already in the process of

  215. changing, the oil message of changing the direct message from

  216. the from the man to the written text.

  217. Now it's two thousand years. Since the apostles live, it's

  218. 2,000 years since this book was finished and we no longer need

  219. God's message directly, but even when he did give a message

  220. directly, it was always through certain people.

  221. So we can't. We're going to find Revelation

  222. today other than what's written. Well, during that time, the

  223. message was given the Noah and Noah proclaim the truth that the

  224. end was coming. Now, it's interesting.

  225. He began to build a boat, it really wasn't.

  226. A boat was more like a barge, the Bible says, by whom also, he

  227. went and preached to the spirits in prison.

  228. Now, the spirits were in prison, when Peter wrote this, but back

  229. Yonder, when they were alive, they were not in Hades, they

  230. were not. In prison awaiting judgment,

  231. they were alive, and they had a choice of repentance Jesus went

  232. and preached to those Spirits while they were alive through.

  233. Noah, he preached through the power of the spirit of Christ,

  234. through the power of the Holy Spirit, he preached to them

  235. Jesus preached to them. Through Noah knows the preacher

  236. of righteousness, who formerly were disobedient.

  237. When Once the dividing, long-suffering, waited in the

  238. days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared in which a few

  239. that is eight Souls were saved through water, God warned men,

  240. but men must act. God never demands or or forces

  241. us to serve. If he doesn't want robots, he

  242. wants us to follow him because we love him.

  243. So men must act. And what are they to do?

  244. What are men going to do? Well, there are two lines of

  245. people and it's pretty obvious what those two lines are going

  246. to do. The people who have rejected,

  247. God, the people who are following after the way of Cain,

  248. they're going to reject God. And at the end, there are those

  249. who are going to follow God. Now it's interesting.

  250. I want you to take note of this, it could be that there were six

  251. billion people that lived on the face of the Earth at this time.

  252. Did you hear that six billion? It can be shown.

  253. Mathematically, that this was possible because of the age and

  254. the length of childbearing years that a man lived upon the earth

  255. and the multiplication, it can be shown that there might have

  256. been 6 billion people who live on the Earth.

  257. Now, Noah preached to those people.

  258. But listen seeing it's contagious.

  259. See, this can take. That's why we're supposed to

  260. discipline someone. That's why when there's a

  261. Morality In A congregation, you can eat a lot to Gold because if

  262. you do, it'll let in the whole world it'll affect everybody.

  263. And you see is really an extension of God's grace that he

  264. declared the words go in. There's a day coming when

  265. judgments going to be here and everybody's going to die.

  266. And actually in reality, we were to read the verse.

  267. There were only eight Souls out of maybe six million people that

  268. were faithful. The whole world would have been

  269. engulfed in seein, and we would have been obliterated.

  270. But God in his Mercy, extended extended.

  271. That hope. Now it came to pass when men

  272. began to multiply on the face of the Earth and daughters were

  273. born to them. That the sons of God, saw the

  274. daughters of men that they were beautiful and they took wives

  275. for themselves of whom all, they chose.

  276. So you have to, to send it's, as I said.

  277. And the intermediary, this the Bible says, I will destroy man,

  278. whom I have created from the face of the Earth.

  279. It's called such great evil, that God decreed, I'm going to

  280. destroy man, both man and Beast creeping things, and birds of

  281. the air for, I'm sorry. Or I've grieved that I hit.

  282. Have made them man. Went to such a point, such a

  283. link he departed so far from God.

  284. That God says, I'm going to call a halt to it. and we may think,

  285. That he is going to let us get by.

  286. We may think that it always be like it is now but I'm going to

  287. tell you God's Own going to put up with the so long.

  288. He's only going to allow us to continue in sin so long.

  289. He's going to deal with us individually.

  290. He's got a deal of deal with us as a people someday.

  291. It's all going to stop. It's all going to end.

  292. Listen. He says, it's over.

  293. He says and the Lord said, my spirit shall not strive with

  294. man, for ever or he is indeed flesh, yet his days shall be.

  295. 120 years. Now, some people try to take

  296. that verse out of context. And applied in various ways.

  297. For example, some people say well that was the short.

  298. That's why after the flood their lives were shortened.

  299. That's interesting because no himself lived to be over 900 and

  300. his sons lived to be over 600 or 800 and Jacob who lived many

  301. generations later lived to be nearly 200 years old. and yet it

  302. says here, 120 years Well, the point is God's declaring that

  303. I'm going to allow 120 more years to exist.

  304. That's what he's saying. Now, this is this, this is

  305. pretty intriguing to me, you know, we talked about families,

  306. we talk about raising our families.

  307. We talked about that sir, the terrible Society, we live in.

  308. In the situation, we have to raise our families.

  309. You I want you to think about this, Noah lives in a society

  310. before his children are born, you see?

  311. Because God makes this declaration is I already pointed

  312. out when Noah is 480 years old and his first son was born when

  313. he was five hundred. So before Noah's first son was

  314. born, the imagination of man's heart was only evil continually

  315. You know, my grandmother said a few years ago she said I'm so

  316. thankful son, that I'm old. Because this world is so wicked.

  317. I wouldn't want to bring anybody in this world to live.

  318. Well, maybe she was wrong. What I want you to think about

  319. this. The world of nose so bad.

  320. Out of all the multitudes of people that lived on the earth,

  321. only eight. We're faithful at the end.

  322. What an amazing idea. What a what are they credible

  323. fault? And before his first born, son

  324. is chosen are born rather. God says, I'm going to destroy

  325. the world. Well, it's children are born.

  326. They marry and they remain faithful to God.

  327. Now, think about this. Noah went out to save his family

  328. and he saved his world. Now you go study the life of a

  329. lot. Bible says he made himself a

  330. judge in Sodom. The Bible says he said at the

  331. gate and that's worth a judge set.

  332. That's where Court was held. The Bible says that he vexed,

  333. his righteous soul from day to day.

  334. You see we we miss some of that story when we talk about law, we

  335. talk about him. Pitching his tent, toward Sodom

  336. and so forth. But the Bible says he was a

  337. righteous man. God said that not the preacher

  338. God said that. And the Bible says he wrecked,

  339. he vexed his righteous Soul every day.

  340. The Bible says that what tried to change society?

  341. Their listen to this. He tried to change society by

  342. getting involved in politics. He tried to change society by

  343. the coming apart of society. That's what a lot of the

  344. religious World tells us what to do.

  345. Now, think about this lot, went out to save the world.

  346. And he lost his family. He lost seven children,

  347. including his in-laws, his daughters in-laws.

  348. And his wife and really is to sort of you lost the ball.

  349. Lot went out to save his world and he lost his family and he

  350. lost the world. No one has to save his family.

  351. He not only saved his family, but he saved the world.

  352. That's a powerful powerful statement.

  353. And all of us in this assembly to think about that.

  354. That little girl right there is in your hands, brother.

  355. These children mrs. Sibley.

  356. They're in our hands, the greatest blessing the greatest

  357. Hope we have for the future of the church is our children.

  358. Don't let the TV raise your kids.

  359. Don't let your life be consumed with other things.

  360. Don't badmouth the leadership. show your children, that there's

  361. That there's wonderful Beauty at Living the Christian Life.

  362. Show them that God is real in your life.

  363. So that when you grow up, he'll be real in theirs.

  364. Be like Noah, go out to save your family, no telling what

  365. benefit you'll be. To the lord.

  366. Well, so much could be said, but I've got to move along.

  367. God says, it's going to finish, but Noah found Grace in the eyes

  368. of the Lord notice. Now Noah did not even deserve to

  369. be saved. The difference between know and

  370. the rest of the people is he had continued to reverence and

  371. respect God. The Bible says that he was just

  372. in perfect, that doesn't mean he was absolutely Justice or

  373. absolutely just like Jesus. He was justified because he

  374. completed at off of the animal sacrifice and recognize that

  375. God's word was truth. He was perfect because he had

  376. offered the blood of innocent victims to roll his sins forward

  377. to the kind, that Jesus would come to this world because he

  378. And obeyed the voice of God. He did not deserve salvation.

  379. Listen, friends. There's nothing.

  380. We can do to earn salvation. The gift of Salvation, the

  381. origin of Salvation is free. But if we want to attain that

  382. salvation, if we want to enjoy that salvation, we have to pay

  383. for it. But whatever we pay is never

  384. enough. How can being baptized pay for

  385. the death of Jesus. How can eating Lord's Supper

  386. from one loaf and drinking from one cup?

  387. How can that earn salvation? That's a bunch of hogwash you

  388. can get to things like that. It's because of God's grace.

  389. That will be saved. Based upon a course, our

  390. obedience is blessed will by faith.

  391. Noah, you know, the word faith is not something better felt

  392. than toll Faith carries with it. The idea of evidence in fact, in

  393. the Book of Romans that is often been called The Book of Faith or

  394. salvation by faith. Paul Begins the book in chapter

  395. 1, verse 5, with an expression. He says, Idiots of the faith in

  396. man, interesting. Obedience of the faith.

  397. The book of faith says that Faith always includes obedience.

  398. He ends the book of Romans in the last chapter, about the

  399. third verse from the end with the same expression, The

  400. Obedience of the faith you see. Faith is not something better

  401. felt than told. Faith is based upon evidence.

  402. Whether it's written or whether it's oral, whether it's by

  403. listening to preaching, whether it's my reading the Bible.

  404. It's based upon evidence Faith does not start before the

  405. evidence. He does not go beyond the

  406. evidence. And the Bible says by faith, you

  407. see, God had given him the evidence being divinely warned

  408. of things, not yet seen he'd never seen it rain on the earth.

  409. It probably had not rained on the earth till this day.

  410. Till that day. He didn't understand what it

  411. meant to rain, but God warned him that it was going to rain.

  412. And that there was going to be a great flood.

  413. He prepared an ark for the saving of his household by which

  414. he condemned the world and became heir of Salvation.

  415. Now Grace mixed with faith, followed by action, he was told

  416. to build an ark. Now, I want to say something

  417. here because the are it's difficult to know the exact

  418. dimensions of the Ark. What I'm going to do tonight is

  419. I'm going to use 18 inches. Now, of course, a spin is from

  420. the elbow to tall man here. Now, mine's not to you inches.

  421. I measure Terry's and Chris's. And there's is 18, inches are

  422. measured little m's. She's asleep, but I measured

  423. little Emma's. And hers was 12 inches.

  424. And so that's why it's not an exact science, it depending on

  425. who the standard was by which they measure cubed.

  426. And the ancient Babylonians had a cubit that was maybe like

  427. twenty four inches. So, we've got a large difference

  428. here from 16 inches to about 24 inches.

  429. It's possible. So, there's a big difference

  430. here, but I'm going to use the 18 about that because that was

  431. the most logical. Length of the of the qubit and

  432. that'll help us understand how gigantic this box actually was.

  433. Now if we use the smallest possible measurement of this

  434. giant barge, it would have been four hundred and thirty seven

  435. feet long, 73 feet wide and 44 feet tall.

  436. Now it's interesting. You can see here this 747 In

  437. proportion to the to the barge gives you an idea.

  438. Now, these engines on here are big enough for a six foot man to

  439. stand in them. That's how big that plane is.

  440. Here's one of the largest dinosaurs and that's how big the

  441. boat is or that the barge is in proportion to that dinosaur.

  442. Here's an elephant in a draft and we've all seen elephants and

  443. giraffes. And there's the proportion of

  444. size scientifically to the size of the boat.

  445. It's big. It's bigger than you can really

  446. imagine. It's a gigantic, barge, it's not

  447. designed to sail. It's designed to flow now.

  448. No, other Bible says acted by by faith.

  449. He was given Specific Instructions.

  450. Now, it's interesting when you read what scientist had to say

  451. about these instructions, they tell us that that the dimensions

  452. of the Ark and the ratio to length, height and width are the

  453. exact dimensions that are used in all of the large ships that

  454. are built in modern times. Henry Moore's a hydrologic

  455. engineer who graduate graduated from Rice University in Houston,

  456. Texas wrote this. If it can be shown

  457. hydrodynamically, no, this is a scientist.

  458. It can be shown hydrodynamically that a gigantic box of such

  459. Dimensions would be exceedingly, stable almost impossible to

  460. capsize. It's designed to float and it's

  461. built about the best. You could possibly build as a

  462. man to float. In fact, he went on to say that

  463. if it tilted as much as 90 degrees because of the design in

  464. proportions to the length, width and height, it would probably

  465. fall back down on its body. It wouldn't tip on over and

  466. that's exactly what we need now. Do you think that happened by

  467. the accident? Of course, not God designed

  468. this. So that man could live.

  469. Now, let's talk about the volume inside the boat.

  470. Now. You know, somebody like Bob or

  471. Terrier or Doyle, who was the salesman, might understand 1.4

  472. million cubic feet. I don't know.

  473. But I that'll be much to me. So I studied that out a little

  474. bit more to try to figure out what that means.

  475. Now that's the same capacity that 522 livestock is hold.

  476. Pretty amazing. Now, one Railcar will hold 240

  477. sheep now Even the largest mammals in infancy are about the

  478. size of a full-grown sheep. You know, I'm going to show you

  479. the minute that there were dinosaurs on the boat had to be

  480. even the largest dinosaur in infancy.

  481. Was about the size of it cheap, a large full-grown sheep.

  482. In fact, about 75% of the dinosaurs were the size of a

  483. chicken. We don't hear that, but that's

  484. the truth. Dinosaurs of modern origin.

  485. And it was it's a word that came into Vogue.

  486. A long after the King James Bible was printed and it just

  487. means terrible lizard. And so the word was not even

  488. used when the Bible was translated.

  489. Now let's look at this. So we have the capacity to hold

  490. animals inside this boat, people food, Provisions, whatever's

  491. needed 522 livestock cars, enough room to hold 125,000

  492. sheep. Now, somebody says, you mean to

  493. say that Noah had to get all the animals on the boat.

  494. That's not possible. Let's reason this out.

  495. Let's think about this. He was told to make an ark of

  496. gopher wood. One window a cubit above one

  497. door in the side are he was to pitch it inside and outside with

  498. pitch, thus Noah did according to all that God commanded him.

  499. So did he then? The Lord said to Noah, come into

  500. the ark. Listen to what he says.

  501. Now you and all your household. So because I have seen that you

  502. are righteous before me in this generation, you shall take with

  503. you seven. Each of every clean animal a

  504. male, and his female to each of animals that are unclean a male.

  505. And his female also sevens each. A bird, birds of the air male

  506. and female to keep the species alive on the face of all the

  507. Earth. And for, after seven, more

  508. years, I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and

  509. forty nights and I will destroy it from the face of the Earth,

  510. all living things that I have made and know.

  511. Did of cording to all that. God commanded him out.

  512. Here comes the Roundup. Now, I have some uncle's who are

  513. real cowboys. My uncle Donnie lived in Nevada

  514. for a lot of years and these two rope Mountain lines, you can

  515. believe that when we were kids, we wouldn't, they had a mountain

  516. lion that they had rope. That one time we were there and

  517. they called nosy because he had those bleed.

  518. They actually would wrote mountain lions from horse.

  519. Now, these animals won't wrote. God said you get in the boat you

  520. and your family and these animals are going to come in.

  521. That's amazing. You know what we don't realize

  522. is Before the Flood, there was a different relationship between

  523. men and animals. In fact, probably before the

  524. flood, there were no meat eaters.

  525. If you remember that it was after the flood that God, gave

  526. the orders to now, start using meat for food.

  527. Now that's the opposite of evolution, does he see?

  528. The problem is, most everything's the opposite of

  529. evolution. You can't put the evolution with

  530. the Bible. There's no way it can't be done.

  531. There's too many, that's too many discrepancies.

  532. You know, they tell us that that when you look at that star that

  533. often times that lie is millions of years old and they'll light,

  534. you see is of a former star because the Stars gone when you

  535. see the light. But in Genesis, I want it says

  536. the light was here before the star.

  537. Because the Bible says, on the first day of creation God

  538. created light and it was four days later when he created the

  539. Stars. You see the two many

  540. discrepancies between evolution and creation of Christianity.

  541. Evolution is a theory and it's based upon faith.

  542. Depends on how you look at the evidence.

  543. We're not talking about Evolution, we talked about the

  544. Bible and the Bible says that you get in the art Noah, and

  545. these animals are all going to come.

  546. So, one by one, a two by two, they came marching and entering

  547. the ark. Two of every kind, seven pairs

  548. of the clean animals. Now, biological taxonomists,

  549. tell us that there are 18,000 species in the world.

  550. Now, we're talking about Bible kinds now and you need to

  551. realize that that's much more limiting than Yuri than we often

  552. think. For example, that you are wha

  553. and the Great Dane came from the original dogs.

  554. We know biological taxonomy is tell us that through breeding,

  555. they've developed these the Chihuahua and the Great Dane,

  556. but they both came from the same original match in the beginning.

  557. That's more difficult to take cats.

  558. It's more difficult to understand exactly how many cat

  559. species. There would have been in the

  560. beginning, but the point is, the Bible says that God told him

  561. that there would be pairs of every Bible kind.

  562. So they would have been one male one female.

  563. Female dog that represented all the dogs of the future.

  564. Scientists are supposed to know, said it was probably more like a

  565. wolf. I don't know.

  566. No that really matters but the point is there are currently

  567. 18,000 species on the earth down.

  568. We know that there wouldn't be any sea creatures on the boat

  569. because it didn't need to be. They could have survived the

  570. flood. So they were mammals birds,

  571. reptiles amphibians, and then of course, we need to think about

  572. the extinct animals, so let's double it again.

  573. So now we have 36 thousand animals that we have to On the

  574. boat. Now again there was two of every

  575. kind of male and female but then there were seven pairs of the

  576. clean animals. We don't know for sure what

  577. animals were actually the clean animals.

  578. Now you can you can you can make some educated guesses but you

  579. really don't know for sure how many there were.

  580. So let's add 5000 more to the number.

  581. So, that would be 75,000. Now we have room for 125,000,

  582. 280 full-grown sheep. Now you'll notice that there are

  583. many small creatures who that are much smaller than a sheep

  584. Robin's. Lizards mice, frogs a few large

  585. animals, elephants and giraffes dinosaurs.

  586. Now, I told you all God is going to show you that were dinosaurs

  587. on the boat. Now job lived about four hundred

  588. years after the flood. And God's talking to job. now,

  589. if you have a Bible with the margin and you look at Behemoth

  590. that's in this context, it'll tell you an elephant or Hippo

  591. would guess what Did you ever see?

  592. Did you ever see a tail on a hippo or elephant?

  593. That looked like a cedar tree? In fact, many of the creation

  594. science believe that this is the probably, the dinosaur that this

  595. passage is talking about. But the word, behemoth is from

  596. the Hebrew word that they need to know how to translate, that's

  597. why they just call it behemoth. Look at what it says, look.

  598. Now at the Behemoth, this is God, talking to job which I made

  599. Long Beach, along with you. Now, man says dinosaurs died

  600. before man. God says, I made the dinosaur

  601. with you. Look at now at the Behemoth,

  602. which I made along with you, he eats grass, like, an ox.

  603. See, now, his strength is in his hips and his power is in his

  604. stomach muscles. He moves his tail like a cedar.

  605. The sinews of his thighs. Are tightly knit.

  606. His bones are like beams of bronze, his ribs, like bars of

  607. iron. Now it was natural for animals

  608. to migrate. Have you noticed these animals

  609. on this ramp are small animals? It would have been natural for

  610. these animals to be infants. Now we need of course but they

  611. have to replenish the Earth. And so the best the cream of the

  612. crop, the best breeders, God would have had, would have sent

  613. to the ark, it's natural. It's been proven by these

  614. biological scientists that that all animals have the Ability to

  615. migrate. And so God calls by a miracle,

  616. all of these animals to migrate to the ark that was necessary to

  617. keep the species alive. So the animals on this bridge,

  618. our infants that's logical to can you imagine if you had a

  619. full-grown dinosaur on the boat and you had to clean up his

  620. Waist. You know, if you're driving

  621. along an African, you're not paying attention.

  622. You run over a pile of elephant, dung.

  623. You probably don't have a wreck. And it opens a lot smaller than

  624. a dinosaur. They got to be on this boat for

  625. a year. Now, there are two things about

  626. infants that are going to be necessary.

  627. To Aid knowing his family, they got to take care of 75,000

  628. animals. And if they're infants, they're

  629. going to sleep. Now he has, he has a storehouse

  630. of food. Probably what happens is?

  631. He feeds the animals and it's dark and it's dead.

  632. It's raining. What do you do when it rains,

  633. you sleep? These animals were sleeping.

  634. They were hibernating. It's also been shown that most

  635. all animals have the ability to hibernate And that when that

  636. happens their body processes, slow way down and the waste is

  637. less. And of course they do not need

  638. food during that time. So they had food when they went

  639. to bed, they had some food left. When they got up and they being

  640. infants, would have been a much simpler easier job and so,

  641. probably all of these animals on the boat.

  642. None of them would have been larger than a full-grown sheep

  643. even the largest of the animals. Well, Noah had to be willing to

  644. leave his former life. He'd never seen it rain.

  645. And you know, God says it's going to rain.

  646. Noah had to be willing to get inside that boat.

  647. Can you imagine the ridicule? We get ridiculed sometimes.

  648. Can you imagine telling people it's going to rain.

  649. They never see, right? Would you believe it?

  650. Doyle somebody told you it's going to rain in Bakersfield.

  651. The first of August. Probably not.

  652. Of course, none of us had thought a grate inlets and June

  653. either my place where I left yesterday and really nearly an

  654. inch for I left. I remembered ever do that.

  655. But they didn't see ring before, and now it's going to rain.

  656. He's going to get his family. All inside, that boat, this old,

  657. gray-haired man. That needs to be taken somewhere

  658. and locked up. He's got a problem.

  659. He probably called CPS. The point is he did with the

  660. Lord said no matter what anybody said, no matter what anybody

  661. else did, he was willing to leave his former life.

  662. All in his nostrils, was the breath of the spirit of Life.

  663. All that was on the dry land died.

  664. Nor passed through the door. Now, it's interesting.

  665. We talked about this door, you remember, I said he was to pitch

  666. it within and without with pitch, that is the ark was can't

  667. pitch on the outside and on the inside.

  668. Now, there are two different words that are used for this

  669. word pitch. Found in Genesis chapter 6 and

    Genesis 6 chapter mention

  670. verse 14. The first time it means to cover

  671. its a verb. The second time, it means a

  672. cover. So here you have this cover,

  673. that covers the outside and keeps the pending Waters of

  674. judgment away from the inside of the boat.

  675. You have the pitch on the inside, to that continues to

  676. seal them, they had to pass through this pitch to get inside

  677. the boat. Now this is what's interesting.

  678. This word pitch in Genesis chapter 6 is later used and it's

    Genesis 6 chapter mention

  679. translated by these three words. And the lexicographer says that

  680. the word means that the price of a lie, a price for ransom of

  681. Allah to atone for them. You know what that's talking

  682. about this time with the blood of Jesus.

  683. In order to be saved in order to be protected, they had to get

  684. inside the boat, when they did that, they passed through the

  685. pitch just like, we have to pass through the blood of Jesus.

  686. The pitch is pointing no less through the blood of Our Lord,

  687. no left his former life, nor pass through the door, he was

  688. warned by God, he acted by faith at all of course this alluding

  689. to our Salvation in Christ. We hear the gospel.

  690. We believe that God's will repent of our We acknowledge

  691. Jesus Christ, as the Son of God, we passed through the door.

  692. Jesus says, I am the door we have to believe and acknowledge

  693. that he is the door. And of course, when we do that,

  694. we passed through his blood because that would include even

  695. baptism. Notice what it says.

  696. Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things

  697. but with the precious blood of Christ as of a lamb without

  698. blemish and without spot indeed was forwarded for the foundation

  699. of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

  700. know, of I saved by water so we are saved by water.

  701. The words that we read in the beginning in an amazing.

  702. How this represented our Salvation to this day, it is

  703. very hour. They heard they believed they

  704. resolved they repented, they confessed and they were

  705. baptized, don't notice this as the eight Souls of the type,

  706. we're not saved before. Or after the flood but while the

  707. water supported the art. So salvation from sin has

  708. accomplished in baptism, Not before or after they act notice

  709. that there was no infants on the boat.

  710. Noah's children had no children. They had no children.

  711. He'd had the grandchildren until after the flood.

  712. That does away with infant baptism.

  713. All were saved the same way. Look at the unity of this.

  714. Every person who was saved or save the same way, all were

  715. members of the same family, was that an accident?

  716. Think about it, all wore, the same family name, Isn't that

  717. incredible? That's the way it is for us,

  718. even today in the New Testament Church, we're all saved the same

  719. way. We all are members of the same

  720. family, and we all wear the same name.

  721. Christian, that incredible, well, know has boat is a symbol

  722. of Salvation. The Waters of the flood lifted,

  723. the boat to safety and the Waters of the flood caused the

  724. boat to float on the on this show.

  725. Shortest sea for over a year and finally, those inside the boat

  726. were allowed to leave and they walked out on dry, clay him.

  727. Well, my friends, there's coming another flood but this flood is

  728. not with water. It's going to be by fire.

  729. Or are you ready for that day? Only those who are prepared.

  730. Hear it now while we live. On that day will hear him say

  731. Well done thou good and faithful servant.
